    I waited one week for my case manager call. I received several reminders about the call. When the time came there was no call from Choice. I had to make more calls to finally get someone to talk with. Then I was told Choice doesn’t replace at full value so the amount offered for replacement of my washer was not even close to replacement costs. Then I was told only a Lowe's gift card would be given when I wanted to shop different stores for a new washer. Why can’t a check be given. I will never renew with Choice or recommend it. I have enough of. Disappointing cases and claims.

    Our refrigerator stopped working. It was no longer cooling.     I am very dissatisfied with this warranty. 3 times I have paid the deductible and was denied the claim. When I called I should have been told it was not covered so I cancel my policy. Also I was charged for a month that I was not going to use and Choice does not refund me the money so I'm a very very dissatisfied customer.

    The service/contractor Pioneer Doors called and made their appointment for my rental property garage door issue. I had made arrangements to meet the repairman there at the property. He arrived before I could get to the property, made the repair and left. I was not able to pay at time of service but was able to contact the company to pay the fee. I would have liked to see what he adjusted ...but not possible as he left already! I was disappointed that I could not see the reapair issue and meet the repairman in person. They also told me that my remote keypad was not covered under this warranty and would be a separate charge to change the codes as it had been working prior to this adjustment and now does not open the garage door anymore... that is my only way into the garage from outside. I had to gain entry thru the house with the tenant/guests assistance to open the garage to check that it was functioning properly that day.

    The highly qualified technician came out to assess my over the range microwave. He stated that the side of the door is cracked and will need to be replaced. He also stated that he sees this a lot because it's the regular we at and tear of a microwave. The technician said that the door will need to be replaced.     At first, I was upset because the person who wrote up the first claim put dishwasher for my issue instead of washer. Then when I realized the problem, the second representative told me they would let the technician know it was a washer instead of a dishwasher. Then the technician didn’t show up the day they were supposed to. I had stayed home waiting for four hours. When they hadn’t showed up, I called again. This time the representative told me that the second representative should have begun a new claim because of the discrepancy between dishwasher and washer. He began a new claim. Then the technician was given a wrong phone number for me.

    When I finally got ahold of the service technician and we got worked out a time he would come, things went much smoother. He came, he showed me what was happening and why he diagnosed what he did. I feel the amount awarded to me is a fair amount. The end result is Satisfactory. I would say some of your sales representatives need more training if they don’t know that there is a discrepancy in a claim a new claim needs to be filled out.

    I am a customer of CHW for many years (6-7 years). Because I brought the CHW plan, it saves me time and money. Every time my appliance is broken, I just call CHW, they always respond immediately and send someone to my home to repair it. It gives me peace of mind knowing that whatever happens in my home, CHW will take care of it!     Good Day, I have had a Home Insurance policy with Choice Home Warranty for about 2 years. In that time I tried to use my home warranty and filed a claim 2 separate times. 1 was for a fault on my Pool heater manifold that cracked, and Yes I did have the additional coverage on my pool and components. This claim was quickly denied stating the damage was cause by a Nature event. Meaning it was cold outside and felt the damages were caused by freezing of the water in the component. Ok, I did not like the answer but it is what it is.

    On The 2nd Claim I had my Hot water heater go out so I called to get service to check and again was quickly denied. Stating that since I had a tankless hot water heater it was not covered. I searched in their Terms and Indeed it stated tankless hot water heaters were not covered. Again, not happy but what can I do. I quickly realized after reading all in the terms that this home warranty was simply just not worth it and they did not cover way more than they covered as a norm so I decided to change home warranty companies. I had 2 months remaining so I just let this one expire, did some searching and found another company I like better.

    I thought this was it and I could simply move on, But in the last two Months I have easily been called over 50-60 times asking me to renew my policy with Choice. in the beginning I answered and explained I was switching and to stop calling. But the calls kept coming and the closer I got to the expiration date the more the calls came. I also tried not answering and blocking the number but the very next day another call and a new number from NJ and it's Choice. I started answering again and it's always a new person and seem to be oblivious to the fact that I ask 20 others already not to call anymore as I'm not interested in renewing my policy with them....     Choice Warranty has very poor customer service and several of the Contractors that they sent to our home over the year have not been helpful or skilled at all. Recently, we had a leak in our ceiling so we filed a claim to have a plumber sent from Choice Warranty. It took 10 days for the plumber to schedule an appointment with us. He shows up and doesn't even look at the plumbing. He said it was our shower door that was leaking, but there was no water coming from the shower door. He didn't even bother checking the drain or anything in the shower even after we told him that we've had a pipe that was clogged in the past that may be the same issue this time that is causing the leak. Instead he said that we needed a whole new shower door and tile job done, which was not true. I paid $60 for an incompetent plumber to make a false diagnosis for our shower leak.

    So then I hired a plumber on my own and told them the same thing I told the Choice Warranty plumber and they said there was no leak in the shower door and that the issue was that there was a clog in the pipe. So they removed the clog and there has been no leaking since. However, this visit from my own plumber cost $150 plus the $60 that I paid for the Choice plumber who didn't even lift a finger to check our plumbing even when we suggested it. Such complete incompetence. When I asked for them to reimburse me for the competent plumber's work that I hired on my own, Choice refused to pay me back. They said incompetent service providers and even when their incompetence is proven, they don't make good on the bad service. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Nor will I renew with them as a home warranty company.

    Put in a claim for my fridge, took a few days just to find a technician. Irritating but obviously not that big of a deal. The tech makes it to my house and basically tells me the fridge is on its way out. After talking to the tech while he looked over my fridge he informs me that I'm going to have my work cut out for me when it comes to dealing with CHW over the replacement. Believe it or not, he explained exactly what has happened this far.     AC repair Which was normal wear and tear was not fully paid for. I had to call. Ready to cancel my five year subscription. Repair was $685. Choice warranty only paid $500. Being on a fixed income $185 was not easy for me to pay along with $65 for the initial visit which I had to pay twice because the first technician did nothing. The Company assigned didn't have experience Trane techs, but CHW insisted they were qualified when I questioned it. The first tech came out and said it was a bad TVX valve in the outside unit that it needed replacement.     No problem at all. The man who came to repair the AC did a great job - he was extremely helpful and the major part of the problem was part of the thermostat. He checked the system and it was fine but the thermostat had completely malfunctioned and the was able to reset everything. I love working with Choice Home Warranty Company. My only complaint was that I live in Bartow, the company is is Sanford and the technician was in Melbourne before coming here. If you don't know your map of Florida - it is a three hour drive from Melbourne and then another 2 hours (without traffic) to Sanford.

    I called in a service request for a kitchen sink leak and the repairman informed me that we had 2 leaks. One leak was the faucet and the other leak was from the garage disposal. After he contacted Choice Home, they informed him that only the faucet was to be repaired for the service call. If I wanted the disposal repaired, I would have to pay a second deductible. I feel as though it should have all been the same service call because the same repairman could have fixed both. Does not sound like good customer service to me…

    I woke up Wednesday morning and noticed the water was not getting hot, I tried troubleshooting the water heater but had no luck. I called Choice and they had a plumber out the next morning. Our plumber Stan was able to quickly identify the problem and order the parts needed for the repair for us. The parts came in the next day and Stan returned about two hours after I informed him they were here.
