Great customer service! But it takes a little longer to get the needed service. I wish there were more available contractors. For the price, can't not complain much. Overall pretty decent! Still waiting on the plumber to show up.

I initiated a claim online for my garage door not operating properly. It was a very simple procedure to open the claim and I had the name and number of the company who was to complete my claim sent to my email within 10 mins. The job was completed professional and timely.

They were knowledgeable and very accurate. Will come in two days to replace my garbage disposal. I will be waiting for them and am sure they will do a great job replacing it. I truly hope I won't need their services as it would mean something else broke. Haha. But it does give peace of mind to have this insurance.

Technician was excellent. Arrived on time, completed the task and cleaned up after. Well done. Only issue is with the replacement option of the fans. Replacement was recommended and the builders grade fans did not come close to the fans I had installed. Read the fine print...

This electrician actually showed up and was on time. He was professional, courteous and polite. He was knowledgeable in his trade. He was very efficient. He did an outstanding job. I would recommend him to anyone that is in need of electrical work. He was in constant contact with me before his scheduled arrival. This has been a great experience for me and my family. I am very happy that I have the warranty plan that I have.

I have been with CHW for several years. I have a policy for my home and rental property. I feel good knowing that if a covered service is in need of repair all I have to do is file a claim and they do the rest.

Spoke with Celia about a service needed, helpful but I was told I could use a HV/AC local. She stated your tech needed to go. Called back. Spoke with JoAnna. Very helpful, explained what my local tech needed to do. She even called and left him a message then came back on and let me know she left him a message. Now that is awesome customer service, my tech called and will be out here tomorrow but will call in the service claim # first. Very pleased at this point. Semper Fi!

Have had a claim in since Dec 1st. Finally a plumber came out last Thursday and said it could not be fixed. Needed new one But so far No one has been back And this is Monday and commode has been running since he left on Thursday.

Charlie was very helpful in guiding us to a policy to cover our rental property. This is our 2nd warranty purchase with Choice Home Warranty. We also have our primary home covered. We have been with CHW now for over 6 months and have been very satisfied with our past interactions.

Submitted a claim then found it was not needed. Called and canceled claim and appointment for service but did not receive any written notice of cancelation. Wasn’t quite sure if everything was canceled. I would have appreciated some sort of email verification of cancellation.

Not satisfied how claim handled. Choice does not care for elderly people in my case 83 year old disabled veteran. My claim was unusual but Choice followed the rules to a "T", let me cancel the contract, stood by their rules with no leeway. I would not recommend Choice to anyone!

Our pool filter pump was tripping the circuit breaker. Made a claim and they were able to get a company out in 2 days. They picked the right company to do the repair/troubleshooting because the individual went out of his way to register the pump to Pentair and then had Pentair come out and replace it. Wanted to give a shout out to C-Force for taking care of us.

Took from October 19th till last Friday for me to get my fridge settled. It should never have taken that long. I had to have several repair men come and go before the Sears repair man told me the part was not available and it had to be replaced.

I have been with Choice Home Warranty thru 6 homes and just renewed my policy. They have always come thru for me whenever I have had to use them. Today I spoke with Alberto, and he made the experience so pleasant. Answered every question I had, did not try to rush me, and made me feel important to him as a customer. I was very pleased at how fast Choice was able to assign someone to repair my ice maker. Due to the holidays, the repairman didn't come until after Christmas. Choice was very quick at responding to the claim. My experience was very pleasant and the instructions were clear. I would recommend Choice to other people based on my experience on this claim.

I just found out that you are going to have to reschedule our appointment. That does not set to good with us! It has been 2 weeks since the repairman was here and 3 weeks since we have had dryer. I don't think we need to be rescheduled. We have not received a phone call about anything. I expect to see someone here today.

Used automated system to place claim via phone which was cumbersome but did ok. When I signed up I chose for the use of local companies but they assigned it to a company about 90 min away. I hope the rest of the process goes smoothly.

I’m impressed with Choice. When I called at 7 am this morning a staff from Choice pick up promptly and she place the claim right away and recommend a company GGI to come to help me; it’s really cold but I have to wait until tomorrow.Hopefully, it will be resolve by then , because it’s really cold in the house.

3+ months to resolve dishwasher issue. Instead of fixing, they offer $250 gift card instead of replacing. They "reserve the right" to provide gift card at amount of their cost at Lowes, instead of replacing the dishwasher. Can't get a dishwasher at Lowes for less than $600. Rep was arrogant and acted like they did me favor by appealing it and getting approved for $350 card. Class Action law suit when we discover they have abnormally high percentage of providing undervalued gift cards instead of replacing or repairing product.

Called for service repair technician. Bang around outside unit since repair work consent to Choice. Stated there was a leak or something else. Claim was denied. Unable to reach anybody to get a second opinion over the weekend, It was hot. We are seniors so called another company. Paid for the car ourselves. He stated problem was not what we were told to the tune of $800 which was cheaper than we were quoted. We took care of it with no satisfaction reimbursement or apology from choice.

I am so disappointed with my decision to purchase another year of warranty service through CHOICE. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I have asked to speak with a supervisor four times and have never gotten a return phone call! When there is a service repair, Choice looks for every reason not to cover the required repair. The length of time it takes to get a service provider to respond, order parts and complete the repair is often four weeks or more. I could not be more dissatisfied!

Contractor did a swift smooth job, very friendly and professional as well. Would definitely recommend them again for my electrical issues. Contractor went above and beyond to explain what the issue was, and how they are fixing it. Did a great job. Glad I switched from American Home Shield to Choice.

I went through all the steps to enter all my information and pick up plan that I needed but when you went to select the plan it wouldn’t work in either Safari Google or Internet Explorer. The user site is not very friendly at all!

I have had to reach out to CHW twice now and both times, same poor results. In Texas in the middle of July the AC wasn’t cooling. Took days for a service check. Reaching the service tech was just as horrible. Voicemail box is full! Finally gets to my home and I am told I need a $200 job to get it running. I pay it because it’s 100+!!! Was never reimbursed, CHW ignored my emails. NOW, 20s and the unit is blowing cold air! Reach out to CHW and am getting the exact same service!!! 48 hours before the assigned tech service can ever come check out the problem!!! And the voicemail box is once again full!!!
While trying to file a complaint today vis telephone with CHW, was told I wasn’t reimbursed because I had the unit fixed before getting their approval!!!! Days without AC in July and they were expecting me to continue to wait??? Now it’s January and expecting the temperature to be in the 20s again tonight and have no heat in our home!!!! I asked to have someone, anyone, of authority to call me and it’s now been 4 hours and not one call back!!!!

My water heater had flooded garage on a Thursday and was not scheduled until after Christmas on Tuesday. Luckily I was able to reach the plumber next day on Friday and he stopped by to help. I was very appreciative for his kindness and help. He said their office should have been told it was an emergency.

Was easy to go online for repair, it was only about an hour getting a appointment. Repairman came early and did a great job. I thought the eight five was a little high for what was done since part was less than eight dollars and it only took about ten minutes.

My garbage disposal was leaking underneath of it. I requested a service call, it was very quickly set up for next day. A service guy came in, check it out, it was beyond repair and replace it with a brand new one. I am pretty satisfied with the service and prompt response.

We had the main sewer line stoppage on Dec 31, we were very lucky and surprised that CHW were able to get us a plumbing company to service on Jan 1. The plumber was very courteous and did a great job and also advised us to detach and remove the 1 hose we had forgotten from outside spout.

Very bad customer service, and was not helpful with my situation at all. I asked could I speak with a supervisor they won't let me speak with the supervisor. Very bad experience. I have water everywhere and both of my bathroom also in My den. They wouldn't even assist me nor did they honor my warranty.

We had issues with our LG Over The Range Microwave. The Choice Home serviceman they sent was GREAT they did everything they could to fix the issue. But between them and Choice Home Warranty they were recommending replacing the microwave. This is where the issue started. The replacement reimbursement of $191 they offered was about 35-40% of the retail replacement cost of our unit.
So I challenged this value and they increased their offer to $249, which was still only 45-50% of the retail replacement cost. They kept saying we could get it replaced cheaper through one of their suppliers but could not or would not tell me the name and contact info for a single source where I could actually get a replacement for the reimbursement cost they offered. They would NOT BUDGE to a realistic replacement cost. So we reluctantly accepted vs trying to fight them for an extended period. Terrible customer service attitude when it comes to replacing items like our microwave!

Is been over a week since I made my call for service. I have not heard back from anyone. I am not happy I have a critical problem. My dishwasher and garbage disposal is not working. Because it is electrical what if my house burned down.

Overall good warranty. The service call however is less than expected. Called for a covered heating system on a Saturday early evening, repair company will not be here until Tuesday afternoon? This is January 1st, single digit temperatures. Fortunately, I have a small electric heater.

My claim was denied due to no fault of my own even though they said that the part was out due to improper maintenance, which was an excuse not to pay the claim. I lived in the home for 1yr and cleaned all the ducts and vents. My heat went out and they claimed the part was due to dust and improper maintenance in my attic. We will see moving forward if it's really worth it to have a home warranty if I have to end up paying out of pocket every time I make a claim. I'm very saddened and disappointed.

My claim was handled pretty quick. I just wish that it was some way to talk to a live person and I wish that we could pick our own technician to cut back on wait time. With winter here you have to wait for parts or whatever is needed.

My furnace went out 12-31-21 and at 5pm I filed for a service on it. It's 5pm 1-1-22 and as yet no one has showed up. I tried texting Rick's Affordable Heating and Cooling and no answer, it's getting cold in here and I don't know if anyone will ever show up to repair it. I think Choice Home Warranty only contracts with the worst companies for service. Still no furnace.

I bought the Insurance, I don't like being pressured and sales people that won't take no for an answer, but I guess that's the way they are trained, I hope the Insurance is worth the money, I am on a short budget anyway, I told them that but they don't seem to care, just make the sale, but at least they were nice, I forget her name but she was a nice person.

I had a lighting fixture in my garage that was crackling when the switch was turned on. This I believed to have been a short in the wiring. Your service man arrived within the designated appointment time and assessed and addressed the issue. If it is not an intermittent problem, it appears to have been repaired.

Service was prompt and the response from CHW to approve my claim was prompt as well. I have had this Service for several years and have had no problems getting them to pay out on my claims. All the technicians have been very friendly and always call ahead of Appointment.

Initial response was good, still waiting for the company to respond to the technician assigned. I received an email from the company stating claim was approved for replacement and the last contact that I had with the technician did not have the same information.

I am still waiting for a review of our oven replacement costs. Amount offered was rejected and I have not heard any replies now in two weeks. We are also presently waiting for a refrigerator repair. Presently without a useable unit in the house. Not real happy in 2022!

The dishwasher would not work- it shut off within a minute and there wasn’t any water entering the unit. I called Choice and they immediately set up an appointment for someone to come out the next day. The fellow called during the day to let us know approximately when he would arrive. He came on time and immediately fixed the problem. I’m very satisfied with the entire experience with Choice.

My water heater is broken and you failed to get it repaired. You found a way to "weasel" your way out. Your company is unethical and dishonest. When selling your warranty you assured me positive results, and twice you have failed to satisfy the customer; an oven being the first time.

Within one hour of reporting my problem I had a warranty number and a call from the John Hidgin plumbing and an appointment set. Great job. Technical showed up on time with part and completed the replacement of garbage disposal. No mess no fuss. Great job.

I had an early 2021 dryer claim. It had to be replaced. And, nobody, I mean NOBODY, called to discuss the replacement allowance. If they called, they never left a message. You have my money; I can’t see how I renew, let alone give positive feedback, with that kind of service and money theft.

Called in claim and they sent out a company the next morning. The company that they sent out was very professional and answered all my questions. The refrigerator has been making a loud grinding noise off and on for the past few weeks. The technician was unable to determine the problem due to the unit not making the noise when he was here. He offered to return when we can determine exactly where the noise originates from. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He'll get five stars when it's repaired. Thanks.

I filed claim and advised water was coming from refrigerator or ice maker line and I didn’t know if I needed a plumber or an appliance repairman. An appliance repairman was sent out. He was very nice. He said the leak was coming from where the ice maker line was rubbing against grout and over time the line developed a slow leak. BUT, he couldn’t fix it, we would need to pay the service fee AND file another claim for a plumber to come out. We had to pay another service fee to a plumber to fix the line and ended up paying the entire bill because Choice said the issue was not covered because it was not due to “normal wear and tear.” The refrigerator is not moved and the line is not manipulated so how could it not be due to normal wear and tear. Three different technicians have said it is very difficult to get any repair covered and paid for.

I was satisfied with the amount I was given for replacement of the dishwasher. The young lady was very professional and doing her job. I did feel like it was a game of back and forth to get a fair amount for replacement. Waiting up to 30 days for a Lowe’s credit card to purchase a dishwasher is a bit long.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I had a plumbing issue in my basement. I checked my home warranty with Choice warranty and it said it was covered. So I called and they sent a technician out within 2 days. I paid the technician the service fee that was in line with our contract with choice. He submitted the claim, with pictures. The technician quoted me a price for the job of $6800. Guess how much choice home warranty said they would cover? $500! I called and tried to get it straightened out. I got nowhere with the 2 different people I spoke with, so I didn’t see a point of keeping my contract. I cancelled it immediately. I can get free estimates from different trades (without a service fee) and I can definitely get the job done I need cheaper the $6800.

My water heater thermostat quit working on 12/22/21. I tried to restart the water heater thermostat and failed. I contacted CHW and received a work order number by email. My first concern was CHW did not have a recommended service repair for Anchorage. I was instructed to look for a plumbing repair on my own. On 12/27 I contacted CHW to inform my current apt and CHW informed me that Alpha Maint & Locks was assigned to repair WH. They were very good, 1st they restarted my WH which stopped 12/29. 12/29 service thermostat was defective and was replaced 12/30. I'm very satisfied with their prompt service and working through parts replacement for final repairs completed 12/30. WH is working.

Refrigerator started to die slowly so didn’t react immediately. Then when I returned from a holiday trip on 12/22 it was obvious the freezer wasn’t keeping food frozen. I made an claim online late that evening and received an email just after 5 am the next morning that a repairman would arrive mid-morning. It was actually something that was repairable so there was no waiting for a part to arrive! The freezer was back in service before noon!

Came home today from running errands only to find refrigerator leaking water on floor. Found out it was not cooling. All of the items in the freezer section were thawed - ruined because we have no place to put them while fridge gets fixed. Called CHW to set up repairman appointment. First number I called was wrong - talked to Sandy - she was kind & provided correct number. Within just a few minutes I had a Work Order number. Hope the repairman is as fast as CHW. I have used CHW for other broken items - always get quick service.

Juan from Doors in Motion came out to look at the problems with my garage door. I had no idea what it would take to fix it. Juan quickly assessed the situation and gave me a quote. I asked a few questions and assumed Juan would have to set up an appointment for a later date to do the work, but I was very wrong. Juan jumped on it immediately and had everything fixed and running 100 times better than it had run prior to this issue. 10 stars for Juan! He works quickly and efficiently. It was so easy to submit a claim. (I used the automated phone service). I got an email l little while later telling me who was coming and what time to expect them. No terms and conditions were seen before the payment and now everything is declined. I will be contacting all my past clients who I referred to Choice and letting them know that they should not renew their memberships. I had a phone conference scheduled and then nobody called and when I emailed to ask why and to reschedule, nobody returned my email. To say I’m disappointed in the 2k I spent on a Choice Home Warranty is a severe understatement.

I would reevaluate how effective or genuine you are regarding your “commitment” to providing your customers great service. I recently submitted a claim for a leaking water heater. First, it took almost four days to get someone to our house to evaluate the leak. The technician concluded that we needed to replace our 20+ year tank water heater. Choice Warranty agreed to replace our “tank” water heater with a tank water. My wife and I are about to become empty nesters, and wanted to install a “tankless” water heater. After a discussion with At Utah Home Services, I was told that Choice did not approve the replacement of our water heater with a tankless unit. Furthermore, that you would not cover a PENNY of the install for a tankless.
I will install a tankless water heater, and pay for every penny of it. Choice wouldn’t even pay for the cost of a tank water heater, and I pay the difference. It has become VERY evident that what is reasonable to you and I are vastly different. I paid over $1300 in cash for the warranty. That was the last time Choice Warranty will see a penny from my family OR any family that I can share my story with. Unfortunately I am stuck with this warranty for over another two years. Buyer beware!! I have absolutely no faith in the services you provide. If you can’t even pay for the cost of a tank water heater, then what can I expect when my stove, refrigerator or furnace needs replaced.

The end result was good but it took a long time and a couple broken appointments to get there. Choice assigned us a repair company right away and they sent out someone to look at the problem late that same day. He told us he would be back in two days. When he did not come we contacted his company asking about it. We did not receive a callback but an email came through from Choice setting a Monday appointment (four days after the original appointment). That appointment came and went and we called again. Finally another repair fellow (who was very pleasant) came on Tuesday afternoon, but was not able to complete the job before he had to go to another job. He came back Wednesday morning to complete the job. We were excited to finally get the problem solved but were not happy with the time it took for the issue to be resolved.

Although I find it amazing that the company didn’t stock the truck with the needed part even though they were aware of the possibility of the problem, the technician was efficient and quick in finding the problem. The dryer is not repaired yet, part needs to be sent, earliest repair date is almost 3 weeks away. We have not had a functioning dryer since the first of December. This will be almost 2 months until finished. Not acceptable time frame.

For 6-8 weeks I've been waiting to get my exhaust fan/light repaired. I called my salesman to confirm it was covered. He said yes. The tech said it wasn't covered. What an ordeal. The first problem encountered was that it took eight days to get the technician out to our residence. An appointment was made by the company to show up between 11 AM - 3 PM. The technician did not arrive until 6 PM and nobody notified us that he would be late. Subsequent repair was done quickly. A part was obtained the next day & installed the same day.

I didn't have to wait long for Choice to find a plumber. They had someone a few hours after me filing a claim. I usually have to wait a day or two. Although the plumber couldn't come for three days, it wasn't an urgent matter, just a leaky toilet tank. Hopefully Choice is getting better about finding technicians sooner.

Appealing the process because my claim was declined despite what was in the contract. I was also very disappointed that what I wrote in my claim was not shared with or reviewed with the technician who was sent out. Although I was clear with exactly what I needed in my claim, when the technician came out he was not aware. Once I told him, he was pretty sure the claim would be declined. It would have been great if someone would have talked to me about the claim so nobody’s time would have been wasted and my money would not have been wasted. Wry, very frustrating.

I have had Choice going on 3 years. This is the first time I have had to use it. My microwave heating sensor went out. It took 2 weeks before they told me they weren’t going to fix it but give me money to replace it. The offer was 1/3 of what my microwave costs. I had to dispute the payment which took another 10 days. They did double the offer which is why I gave them an extra star. I still have to wait on the payment and then go buy and install a new microwave. I see now Choice warranty isn’t worth it.

The technician was very professional. He adjusted my settings (that were set way too high) on my hot water heater. I haven't taken a shower in the bathroom yet to see if it is better and the hot water lasts but he explained how the system works and why it wasn't getting hot water in there. My dishwasher went out in October. Choice Home Warranty (CHW) paired us up with a repair company the same day. The repair company replaced the part, in doing so they created a leak. The repair company was unable to find and repair the leak. I contacted CHW and asked for another appliance repair company to repair the leak. They had paired me up with an appliance repair company within minutes. The company scheduled an appointment in 2 days. The repairman came out, isolated the issue within 30 seconds of pulling out the dishwasher (last company installed the pump upside down) and made the necessary repair. I believe it took a total of 20 minutes from the time the repair technician arrived and left. The repair company left his card, said to call if there were any further issues. Kudos for both CHW and Alamo Appliances Repair.

I needed a plumber to fix a drain leak in my shower. A plumber was assigned to me quickly. I checked reviews for the company and found that they had many negative reviews and an F-rating with the BBB. I promptly called the plumber and cancelled the appointment. I then called CHW and requested a different company, explaining what I had discovered. Reluctantly, the rep agreed to make a change one time, noting that they're not responsible for those reviews. I was assigned a new company and did the same check again. That company had much better reviews, so I accepted the assignment. The technician was polite and quickly evaluated the problem and replaced the leaky drain. The shower no longer leaks.

This is the 8th day waiting for Choice Warranty get someone to repair our washer. Choice sent a repair tech on the 21st of December that needed to order parts and told Choice the need to order. Choice canceled that tech and said they would need to send another tech to diagnose the problem and contact them. This is the 30th of December and still no tech for repair or to diagnose the machine again. I have called the resolution center 6 times and all they offer is wait another 24 hrs or find a tech on my own and pay another service call. BBB is next on the list. I have asked for my warranty money back with no luck. Still waiting. Save your money on Choice Warranty.

I was bullied into signing up before reading the policy specifics and only after forcing me to pay the policy premium was I sent the policy and in fact it excluded the very items I was told were covered. I just had signed up for only an hour and when I went to cancel they put me on hold for a while and tried to send me to the same salesperson that had misrepresented the policy coverage. After they cancelled they said it would take 30 days to get my refund when I just paid by credit card an hour previous. I do not trust them nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

Dishwasher could not be repaired. Choice will provide less than half of replacement cost in form of a gift card and not remove old or install new device. I have been without a dishwasher now for 3 weeks and am told the Lowe's gift card will not be available for another 4 weeks. Does this sound like great customer service?

During this time of COVID, he should have worn a mask, but didn't. When he comes back to make the repair as he needs to order the part, I will be requesting he wear a mask. I also had to ask him, if he could drain the water from the dishwasher, which he did.

We moved into a new home 4 months ago. We’ve already faced multiple issues with appliances and have had to put in multiple claims with Choice Home Warranty. The process to put in a claim is incredibly fast, efficient and easy! You can do it online in a minute and within a short period of time I get my confirmation with the time/date and scheduled technician. Our first issue with the dryer has continued recurring so I am hoping the warranty will replace the unit if it happens a 3rd time. Our latest claim was with the garbage disposal and the technician replaced it. So far so good! I’ve only had one prior experience with a different home warranty company and my experience with choice warranty has been far superior!

Previous to this experience, I had a horrible experience with Choice with an air conditioner repair issue. With the oven issue everything went as it should. We made the claim online, 2 days later we were notified online that an appointment had been made with a repairman to be at our home and check out the problem. He called when he was "en route" to give us a estimated time he would be at our home. He arrived and analyzed the problem. A heating element in the oven was not working. He had a replacement heating element on his truck. Repaired the oven in less than an hour. The repairman was efficient, professional, and solved our problem in a timely manner.

My experience was terrible. You informed me that the repair was not covered. It cost $75 to find that out. Your CSR did not have a record of a $75 deductible credit in my account. This was the 3rd and final bad experience with you. I am cancelling our contract.

If Choice Home Warranty were efficient, they would ask for the model number of the appliance at first contact. The repair folks can then come prepared with the correct part. Now we have to wait 2 weeks for the part and then another visit by repair.

The technician was very polite and took great measures to ensure my safety by wearing his mask and keeping at safe distance while he was there. After he looked at my dryer, it was determined that the dryer itself was fine, I just needed to have my dryer vent cleaned out. I am having that done on Friday. I really appreciate the prompt attention by the claims department at Choice. This was my first time using it and it was great!

Still don't understand what is going on. I'll call today. Dissatisfied right now. What good is a warranty if they won't fix my furnace blower? It's not like we could have avoided it breaking...Technician was good and accommodating our schedule.

I have been waiting for over a month now for someone at your company to replace my refrigerator like you said you would! You people never call me when you say you will, and only after I threaten to call BBB and consumer reports did you call me back, month later! Our power went out for about 24 hours. When it came back on, we found that our stove would not turn on. We called Choice Home Warranty and a technician came to our home and found that the electricity was not up to par. He checked other outlets and found that a few had 120 volts but the rest did not. He could not do anything more. The next day the power was up and the stove functioned as it should. So we cancelled another visit.

This was my first time calling for service since joining two months ago and first experience was very frustrating! The contractor assigned was a home modeling company whom NEVER called back even though requested for a call multiple times. The number given appears to not work because it went straight to voicemail. Couldn’t get an appointment till a week and a half later, so had to call back several times to request for a new contractor. This contractor was a lot better. CHW called back the next day and scheduled for 4 days out which is still a much longer wait than my previous warranty company. The new contractor came and fixed the issue. We’ll see how the the next appointment will go when I need services again.

I have been a loyal customer of Choice Home Warranty for approximately 15 years. In this time, I have only had one problem that was not covered by the warranty coverage, which, was an unresolved plumbing issue that their contractor could not fix. I hired my own plumber to correct the problem and Choice Home Warranty made a partial payment to cover the cost of the repair. I was disappointed they did not cover the whole expense but was grateful for the portion reimbursement. I would rate their service as 8 out of 10 and is pleased with the service.

It's hard to. It's hard to write a review. However, I'm still waiting for Choice to get back to me and to have a repair person come in and evaluate My claim **. Mr. ** came to my home this afternoon and the valuated my? Dishwasher. He found the problem. The leak that was causing the damage to my dining room carpet, hallway carpet and bedroom carpet. He turned the water off. That stopped. That stopped the leak. He then contacted Choice Home Warranty and advised them of the situation. I still have not heard from anyone else from choice?

Always have trouble getting someone to come and fix the problems. Every time I submit a claim for plumbing issues I can't seem to get someone here. Why can't you folks get me the help that I need? I pay every month and I seem to not get any help. I did get help with my dryer that was the only time.

I called to sign up for service from your company Choice Home Warranty. At first the guy was nice. And then he was trying to upsell me. He went over it twice. Tried to sell me the 3 year plan. I told him I couldn't afford it and keep trying even after I told him I just got divorced and couldn't afford it. Then it got rude and hang up on me. You say refrigerator has warranty. Whirlpool says no. It has to go thru your slow process of review. Even if under warranty it would have to go thru slow review process to pay for other non warranty parts. We've already paid your 65$ service fee now have to pay 139$ service fee for non warranty work.

Maria **. I just want to take this moment out to express my displeasure with Choice Home Warranty. I made the mistake of purchasing a 5 year contract in 2017 and since that time I have had problems with my refrigerator, dryer and now my washing machine. All of which ultimately needed to be replaced. Now mind you I spent 2200.00 to purchase this agreement, and 45.00 per service call. AND not once did they provide a fair replacement value for any of them.
The last guy came here to try and fix the washer and he had to refer to YouTube to figure the problem. I can't even purchase a lower level model machine ... let alone a comparable one. If I have one piece of advice to anyone considering this organization for a home warranty agreement LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. Oh and don't forget the weeks and months it takes for them to show up and make their determination on the how to proceed. I have been without a washing machine since Oct. "COMPREHENSIVE PROTECTION" is not even close.

On 12/23/21 I called Choice Home Warranty because our HVAC system quit working. Was told there was nothing to worry about and we would be covered. They send a technician who shows up a day late but assures me that we would be covered as it's normal wear and tear. After the technician left we received email stating we were denied because of clogged filters and clogged blower motor. When asked to produce evidence of this they changed the denial reason stating the 19 year old hvac unit was still under manufacturer warranty. So I called the manufacturer who stated the warranty is only a ten year warranty. Called back CHW with this information that the normal life for this part is 20 years and was denied a third time for a third different reason. We are first time homeowners with a 6 month old baby and no heat in our house. We don't have 4500 dollars for a new unit and received absolutely no help from CHW.

The service person was fine. It's CHW that I have a huge problem with. Your CS SUCKS, they are of no help whatsoever. CHW takes way too long to find someone to do repairs. I will not renew my policy and I will not recommend CHW to anyone.

My microwave went out and toilet started leaking a day apart from each other. I called on Monday. Someone was there fixing my toilet that Wednesday and my microwave. They decided to replace my microwave. The money they offered me for my microwave we had to dispute because it wasn't enough for an above stove microwave. I was assigned a case worker and when she called I explained the situation and she agreed that the money wasn't enough for a new microwave. She up the money so we can get a new GE 1.9 over stove microwave.

I have used my home warranty on 3 claims - it was worth it on one of those. Probably Wouldn’t purchase again unless it was far cheaper than currently advertised. You still have to pay the service fee (mine was $85 each time) on every claim. Most issues would not have been covered by the home warranty. For reference, my home is 13 years old.

He was timely, assessed the problem quickly and replaced the unit. He got approval quickly from Choice to replace which is good as we did not have to go back and forth, could just fix it the same day. It is much more efficient and provides great customer service when is this done.

I was going to cancel my Home Warranty. I pay in every month and never use it. When I called, the young man asked me if any of my appliances needed repaired. I said my washer sounds terrible. Within a week I had an appointment. In one more week, it sounds great and the clothes are so much cleaner. I love my machine and I am so glad I stayed with Choice!
