We been with company for three and a half years. Had two repairs call for repairs. Twice came out with no problem. Sent reliable company to do the job. Had no problem with cost for return repair. Didn’t have to wait at all. Call that night. Came out the next day. If they don’t answer they get back with you with an hour.

I'm writing to tell you about my experience with CHW. It was the middle of winter and my furnace stopped working-- it was so cold! below 9F. I sent a message online CHW and they sent a technician within 6 hours. The cause of the failure was a broken draft motor, which is not available with local contractors. The technician ordered one from the manufacturer, which took 3 days to get here. The technician installed it and everything has been working great ever since. But downside of entire process is, it took 6 days.

My garage door would not close. It set open for two days. I called Choice home warranty and at first, they said one week. This did not work for me, the agent search to find a place to come out as soon as possible. It worked. I was able to get my garage looked at the next day. Technician was great, timely, friendly and knowledgeable. CHW emailed us the wrong repair date, while the repair company called and informed me of the correct repair date and time. CHW should verify with the repair company when they will be there.

Loved my customer service rep but I am extremely unhappy with Choice Warranty. They will offer you less than half your appliance to replace it. I do not recommend picking this if you are tight on money. They will not give you enough to replace your appliance and don't care. The lady helping me was nice but I am very unhappy I had to pay to replace all the appliance since they gave less than $450.00 to replace a dishwasher and microwave.

Way cool! Way better service than I've ever had before. Pricing and service compared to AHS is soooo much better! Requests are done in the US so no delays in contact with contractors. Can't beat same day dispatch on service requests either.

Technician was quick to reach out and diagnose the issue by phone before coming. Once there he was easily able to fix the issue. Also took the time to look at the rest of the garage door and motor to make sure it was working.

I was a recall as 1st time technician did not do a good job diagnosing and correcting. The 2nd time Tech was very knowledgeable and experienced. We had to wait for the parts for 3 weeks. With the parts in hand, the visit was scheduled promptly. He seemed to have corrected the problem. We will wait and see.

I bought a home in Aug of 2019 and it came with one-year coverage from Choice Home Warranty. The upstairs Heat pump went out in November that year and the company replaced it after I paid the installation cost of $700.00. The unit stopped working in February that year and Choice Home Warranty brought out the same company that replaced it to do the repair.
This year the same issue happens in February and as I am no longer using Choice Home Warranty I called a local company for the repair. Turns out Choice Home Warranty replaced my old unit with a unit that has no auxiliary heater coil in it. My original unit had one as it is what the unit needs when the temperature drops below 30 degrees. I would have never known if the temperature did not drop. I called Choice Home Warranty and they refuse to talk with me to pay the additional cost to add the auxiliary unit. This goes against their contract with me as the unit must be of equal capability when replaced. I tried numerous avenues with them to resolve and they refuse.

Brian was an exceptional technician that came and repaired my aging furnace. I give him an A+, even staying late to get me heat in the dead of winter. My experience with Choice Home Warranty was far less than satisfactory as it was the start of the third week when they got Brian to accept the job. That is a very long time in below freezing weather to be without a furnace that works right.

I have moved to Choice warranty from another warranty company. My first claim was rejected and claim case manager was not easy to work with and not ready resolve my claim. Technician they sent doesn't know the heating system. I have to spent money to fix the issues irrespective of having warranty. I will be moving back to my previous warranty company.

Technician was quickly able to identify the issue with the ice maker. Ordered parts and will be back. Previous Technician from Sears ordered new ice maker and valve, replaced ice maker but still had issues blamed it on faulty product. Fridge started spraying water. He shut off water to fridge and never actually identified root cause of the issue.

Choice was unable to find a technician for us. We had a handyman who was working in the area stop by. The warranty has not been helpful so far. We were hoping to be able to use it when we had an electrical problem.

Initial repair appointment was made in an efficient manner and the service person called ahead to let us know he was on his way. Repair is not complete because a part was ordered. There has been no communication regarding how long it may take to get the part and schedule another appointment.

We had some issues with some of the appliances in the house we just bought. The tech came out and saw some things that needed to be replaced or fixed. Choice chose to buy out the dishwasher and microwave and offered about a quarter of what it will cost me to replace. They did come up to half the value of the dishwasher but refused to actually get us new ones, and said if they did they may be white when our whole kitchen is silver. They also said they would not service these items and what they are offering is what I get, PERIOD. I can not believe that we are stuck replacing these appliances with only a fraction of what they are worth, and if we canceled our 1250 policy, then even though we had had nothing replaced or no money sent to us, they would DEDUCT what they WOULD HAVE spent to replace or cash out from the monies we were to get back, EVEN THOUGH they had not had anything repaired or no checks had been sent. RIP OFF.

Dishwasher had a malfunction and would not work. The tech arrived early and was very professional. I was impressed with his courtesy and explained in terms I could comprehend what was wrong. The parts were ordered right then, and a return date was set. I was most impressed with this whole process and thankful for the peace of mind I have with Choice Home Warranty.

The technician was great. Would highly recommend him. Choice Home Warranty sucks. Will not pay for anything. I’m out almost $600 while they’re out 200. The hot water heater was covered under warranty but yet they refused to pay the technician for his time of changing it out so not only do I pay for a home warranty that’s useless I end up having to pay the technician as well. DO NOT USE CHOICE HOME WARRANTY. THEY SUCK.

Still waiting for part to come in. Not happy with service. They still are charging me for a closed account. Customer service is bad. I had to pay for a service that is covered in the plan and no reimbursement was given.

Called one day and they were out the next day. They were thorough. Job well done. They said the dishwasher could not be repaired and that I would hear from my warranty company. Heard from them the next day by email and they would be issuing a Lowe’s e card but haven’t heard or received my e card yet.

He came out in a blizzard and fixed our fridge. I think that is above the call. He was very professional and did not track the snow all over everywhere and when he found the problem he explained it to me, then fixed it and cleaned up after himself and took the trash that he made with him other just putting it in ours.

We contacted Choice Home Warranty for help with plumbing problem. We were experiencing major water back up problems from 2 toilets and tub after use of washing machine on Thursday evening. We were able to reach service quickly but was disappointed when the soonest they could arrange for service was Tues afternoon. Stephen from Hebert Plumbing came Tuesday and provided excellent service. My only wish was that he had some shoe protectors on.

First the technician was rude. Second when I called a few days later again to go over my contract with another technician he WAS SO PITIFUL, and even said to me…”what can I do, I didn’t break your plumbing”…and he hung up on me. When I bought this Choice Home Warranty over a year ago, they assured me that they are a MILITARY/VETERAN COMPANY! **…when my contract comes due next year, I will not renew. Poor customer service and wait times.

The contractor was super nice and respectful. He couldn’t find the problem. After pulling out the dishwasher and trying to figure it out he put it back together. After he left the door wasn’t closing right. And now we are having a problem with the dishwasher draining properly.

I have been with CHW for nearly a year, 1 claim so far, 2 months unresolved. Called in, the guy that answered the call sounded as if I had bothered him by calling in. Repairman came by to look at the appliance, but it hasn't been repaired yet and that's been a few months ago.

We have a kitchen sink that is completely backed up and this is our first call to Choice Warranty. They have not been able to get a plumber to us. They suggested we get one and they reimburse us but no plumber is willing to jump through the house you want! I'm seriously wondering if I wasted my money on the company.

It took nearly a week to finally get the replacement scheduled for tomorrow -- and I don't know if it's actually going to arrive! Endless bot-mails, delays, and Home Choice's selected technician is charging $450 for installation. I'm reconsidering my contract.

In haste the plumber failed to install the splash guard. 1 call and he quickly came out and finished the job. The repairman siad he had been with this co. for 30 days. Clean up of the putty was not good, and he didn't seem to care, when I mentioned it. I am not complaining. He will be a good employee-keep him on, I will take him any time. Supervisor may want to check his work.

CHW questioned a coil leak test from our A/C Maintenance provider. I paid $ 165.00 for this test. CHW questioned the leak test performed by the A/C company they sent to repair my a/c. CHW sent them back to take pictures of the leak (bubbles). After this third verification they sent in someone to replace the coil (still under warranty). The problem was taken care of but three verifications seemed unnecessary.

The agent was very informative on what was going on with my appliance. I am a older person and always try to be on alert for someone trying to take advantage. As he talked I began to relax because he seemed genuine. Most of all the mask was always on, I already was wearing one, that really impressed me.

My dishwasher wasn't draining. Come to find out it was because my newly install garbage disposal didn't install the dishwasher tube drain correctly. The rep was able to identify the problem within 1 minute and fix within 5. I think he was in my house no more than 15 minutes total. Thank you so much.

Attic Attack came out, he was very pleasant and professional. He seen the problem right away. So he fixed it and explained to me what was going on with the heating unit. He waited for a few minutes to see if the unit was going to do anything different. Afterwards he said let it run a few minutes so it can change over from cold to warming.

The plumber was pleasant and able to explain the issue and what it will take to fix the issue. JC Penney. Choice approve the request to move forward. Plumber will be back next week to repair the issue. So far I’m satisfied was the outcome.

The garage door opener kept stopping and kicking out the reset button. Imran from Garages R Us came out and assessed the problem and installed a new opener and track. I was only responsible for the new sensor device that is now required. I was happy that he was able to fix the door the same day without having to order parts. He was skilled in what he did. I was very satisfied with the work!

The tech was late. Ian was morbidly obese and untidy to the point of dirty. He diagnosed the problem and then put the ice maker back together, saying he had to order a part, which would take 7-10 days. He set the follow-up appointment for THREE WEEKS later. A day and a half later, I discovered the freezer was not working at all. Everything was thawed out. I called CHW because I could not get through to Sears, who did the work. They said someone would follow up, but no one did. Fortunately, we did get the freezer working again. I was also able to schedule an earlier appointment to install the parts, which have arrived. That appointment with a different tech is for tomorrow. To add insult to injury, my credit card was charged TWICE! Fortunately, that has been resolved.

It did take weeks and had to pay 2 service calls to get it fixed. 1st tech was useless. Didn't even pull bottom cover off to look. Part ordered didn't work and since I didn't want the same co. I had to pay another fee. Sears did great, solved immediately and had working the same day.

We submitted a claim for our dishwasher. It had stopped draining during an after dinner wash, and flooded the kitchen. The tech arrived early for the appointment which was nice, he was here about an hour and a half diagnosing the issue with it. He told me he'd fill out a report and that someone would get with me about what gets approved. A few days go by and our claim was denied because the parts that were damaged were not "normal wear and tear." I appealed because this dishwasher was not tampered with, after 2 separate discussions no repairs or compensation was achieved. Waste of money on the tech and waste of time with appeal process. Would not recommend. This is a rip off, I feel as if we were robbed of our money with this company purchasing the warranty and the tech.

My set up of my new home warranty through Choice went great. When I spoke to my account rep, he answered all of the questions I had after reviewing the contract. He at times tried to push things further quicker than I would've liked, but he quickly pivoted back to my questions, and we moved forward with ease.

Good communication and the electrician Ceasar was great! On time and wore mask and shoe covers. Appointment was also on time. He was great. Very thorough during his search to find what was wrong. He found the issue right away, contacted CHOICE back and was able to get approval for replacement for my ac/heat unit. The Customer Service is very good. No delays in processing a claim, appointments are made soon, and they have more flexibility than some of their competitors. All in all, I have been very pleased. I would recommend them to any homeowner.

My oven was repaired, due to not powering on in Aug 2021. Then Jan 2022 the same problem, only this time my card was charged twice because of a glitch, I wanted to pay cash to start with but her said only card. 2 days later it would not power on again. Choice HW took a little longer than we liked on the refund & the repair person never showed the 3rd time. Finally after 3 weeks I got the refund & we are now waiting for replacement of the unit.

I had an email within 30 minutes that my Claim was being processed and I would hear from the Technician who will be handling the repair. Less than 15 minutes later the Technician reached out with date and time they would be at my home. The technician was very good but he could not fix the problem. We can get the ice but not water. The refrigerator is 14 years old. He said the water freeze in the door and there is nothing he can do. If we want water we have to keep a bottles of water or buy a new refrigerator.

I understand it’s a very good deal, and I have told every representative I talked to that I can’t afford it. I can only afford to pay month to month. I have Choice Home Warranty and have had to make a handful of claims thus far for minor issues. (Most major was a ceiling drip leak). Speaking to anyone internally is infuriating. The call center employees read off a script and don’t listen to a word you say. Once you finally get them to stop speaking long enough to listen to what you’re saying, it’s finally revealed that all internal policies forbid them from revealing anything that you can’t figure out yourself from reading the website or your policy documents. Call center employees are only there to read to you info already available to you. Have a question not answered in writing? Tough luck.
HOWEVER. Every person that has come to my house has been personable and competent. Some I would even hire on my own outside of Choice for future issues. However, since they are basically independent contractors I would simply say Choice does a decent job of choosing who to contract with; these people are not representatives for the company. Choice, like any home warranty company, designs their policies in ways to attempt to deny ever paying for anything. They’ve approved half of my claims. It’s worth doing a cost analysis to determine if Choice, or any home warranty, would *actually* save you money after you realize how much they don’t cover.

An appointment was made within 2 days to check our washer. The technician kept me advised as to his time of arrival. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and explained what was needed, the timeline, and the process. Once CHW approves the repair, the part will be ordered and the technician will return. With the exception of replacing our garbage disposal, EVERY OTHER ITEM HAS BEEN DENIED. The reasons stated are that the furnace, dishwasher, shower leak, and air conditioner MUST be maintained YEARLY with documented proof. Condensers, internal lines, water pipes from shower overflow, and the like are OUR responsibility to maintain and RUST within those kinds of things is an AUTOMATIC DENIAL. The reason we joined Choice Home Warranty in the 1st place is that we were told that "Pre-existing problems because of age would not be a problem." WHAT A DAMNED LIE!!!! We feel that the only reason that we were told that is to get the sale and have us pre-pay several years in advance. NEVER AGAIN, AND WE WILL NOT BE RENEWING. The only positive thing about the service is that once a claim is submitted, someone is sent out within 2 days.

I called in the repair early in the morning. I got your voice machine. She could not understand me but was able to talk me thru filing a claim. It was less than 1 hr got a call from repair service who did the repair. He was here by 130 and gone by 230 He did repair before and we were very pleased with his work and him. The technician was great. Informative and courteous - no complaints there. But, because the refrigerator cannot be fixed, we were issued a Lowe's gift card to offset the cost of a new refrigerator. After agreeing to accept the gift card, we were informed that it could take up to 30 DAYS to receive the card. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! How can we do without a refrigerator for 30 days? Your automated system and making a customer wait 24 hours is not practical for customers in rural areas. I contacted you several times. I was told it would take up to 6 hours. When nothing was scheduled after 6 hours, I contacted you again and then you said 24 hours. Then I called to talk to a supervisor or manager to review the situation and was denied access. This was unbelievable knowing you had history on where we are and our location. The handful of HVAC companies all tell us the same thing, takes too long for payment. I even explained this to your so called customer service and you have taught them well to read from a card and ignore the customer's needs. I want someone to explain to me why when you have the facts someone can't take the time to talk to a customer.
We had temperatures in the tens and your customer service didn't care, we could have reacted much faster if someone in your organization would have taken time to look at the situation and apply common sense. I know you spend lots of time training the sales personnel to sell customers on the warranty, maybe better customer service training and more flexibility to review individual cases would go a long way.

Choice Home Warranty is not a warranty company anyone should use. They will not address the issues in a timely manner and my wood floors have been ruined because of it. They will not be responsible for it or do the right thing on both of my appliances. They sent out a service company who were very knowledgeable. They told them I needed to wait 30 days to ensure the part was obsolete and would not be delivered. After the 30 days had passed, they tried to send another repair company out at my expense. They should have done what the first company had told them the first time.
It is February 2, 2022. I submitted claims for the refrigerator and dishwasher on December 6, 2021. The dishwasher is not working and I have had to move the refrigerator to the garage so there would not be any more damage to the wood floors. CHW is not an honest company and does care about their customers. For reference my claim numbers are ** and **. I plan on posting this on all review site to prevent this happening to someone else.

The service guy came and introduced himself (Brad) and was very professional. He checked the disposal asked a few questions about its last use. Then he took his gear to inspect the disposal and found out that the reset button wasn't here and then he used his tool to check further. The tool he used to turn the crank was unsuccessful and found that the disposal had rusted and needed to be replaced instead of repaired. Brad called upper mgmt. And explained the situation and got approval to replace it. Great job. Well done.

My heating system stopped working during the night, I awoke at 3 am, it was 58 degrees in the house, 28 outside. I filed my claim with Choice online at 5am. They responded in no time. Within hours they notified me that a contractor was set up and would be at my home between 11 am and 3 pm that day. At 2 pm Merical Mechanical was at my home. At 4:15 pm my heating system was back up and working. That is what I call great service from Choice Home Warranty the best possible. I love them and will recommend them to everyone. My problem isn't with the staff. The girl that was assigned to the claim was very nice. I am just frustrated with the results from every claim I put in. It was sold to me as if something breaks we fix it or if we can't fix it we replace it. That is completely not the case. The amounts given to replace whatever is broken is a fraction of what it actually costs to replace it. $343 for a 2 year old GE front loader washing machine. That barely pays for tax and delivery. I'm assuming you've bought a washing machine before. What do you think it would cost if I went up to Home Depot and asked for the cheapest front loader washer? You guys know dang well $343 ain't buying a new washing machine. Your sales department needs to be a little more honest and up front about what "we replace it" actually means.
I took them for their word and prepaid for 6 years of coverage and can't believe I did that. Not to mention the time it takes to get stuff done. This is a rental property and the tenant calls and says he can't wash his laundry. I put in a claim, it takes a day or so to find a vendor and get on their schedule. Then they go out, determine what's wrong, then you guys figure out a way to try not to honor it, then after going back and forth for a couple days you decide ok it's covered so instead of just fixing the dang thing so my tenants can wash their laundry you decide it's cheaper to replace it (because you only give about a third of what it would actually cost to replace) and give me $343 when the guy could fix it for $422.
So now the tenant has to wait for me to get the check of $343, then I have to go find a washer for probably double or triple that, then get it scheduled to deliver and install it. So I'm out prolly $500 in replacement cost and my tenant goes weeks without being able to wash his laundry. But hey y'all saved $79 by not repairing the 2 yr old washer.

My technician that came out was very nice and friendly. He diagnosed my garage door broke a spring. My Choice home warranty (surprise) doesn’t cover that. Save your money and just call service people directly, DO NOT USE CHOICE! Their policy will not cover anything that breaks in your house. Worst home warranty company there is.

Your web site was easy to navigate but had limited options, ie no tab for a heat pump. As this is the primary heat source for the house I was hoping for some some urgency when I reported the problem. It would have been useful to inform us right off the bat that it can take up to six hours for a contractor to be selected, only saw that on a follow up visit to your site. As it turned out I was able to fix the issue and canceled the claim.

Called customer service to ask questions about what maintenance is required by the home owner to avoid a claim denial. The agent was very disrespectful, continued to talk over me and kept telling me I was not listening to him. He never answered my questions and when I asked to speak to a supervisor he stated there were no supervisors available. I called again and got the same response from a different agent. Going to cancel my policy and have been on hold now for 10 min.

I was please at how quickly BJ Appliances responded to my claim that my dryer was taking an inordinate time to dry my clothes and towels/. They dispatched an outstanding Technician who is very knowledgeable, polite, helpful and efficient. He pointed out several reasons why I am having this issue and suggested that I look into a problem with another appliance, my washing machine, which was not spinning properly, was causing my dryer issues. I will recommend him and his company should anyone ask for my opinion. I have now submitted another claim to have my washing machine service which I hope will resolve the issue so I don't have to go out and buy new appliances any time soon.

My garage door opener quit working on Saturday afternoon. I submitted my claim immediately. Choice responded within a couple of hours. CHW assigned a contractor at about 10:30 Saturday night. The contractor arrived at 10 am Monday, evaluated the problem, called CHW for direction and completed the installation of the new opener by noon on Monday. Thank you Choice.

Your technician said the part needed would be backordered three to six months. Contacted another repair man and he diagnosed the problem in five minutes and installed a new timer mechanism costing less than ten dollars and the machine works just fine. Obviously your man was not very familiar with my machine. Thus the $65 spent with you was purely wasted money.

Refrigerator reported needing repair May 2021. Took until December 2021 to get looked at. Repair person reported to Choice that it would require $750 to $800 to fix and recommended replacement. Choice offered $467.00 in Lowes gift cards to replace least expensive equal to what we had was $1,000.00. Disputed with Choice and Choice's final offer to me was a check for $567.00 (not received as of February 1st, 2022). Had to get a 18 cubic foot in place of the 21 cubic foot we had for $950.00. Out of pocket $400.00. Terrible service compared to any other extended warranty that I have had. Will not recommend Choice to anyone and have already let Remax our realtor know not to recommend them. I hope the $400.00 you saved makes up for the thousands you lost in future business.

"Saving Money"... Yes I understand the concept...but 20 minutes of the runaround...not cool...and then I was overcharged from what was agreed upon. The sales men was a joy to work with...but when I called my preferred vendor they informed me that they REFUSE to work with your company. So I tried to call your company back 3 times to cancel. Each time I was sent to voice mail only further irritating me. I've had to call back again but this time I've been hold with resolution dept. You don't treat your vendors very well and now I find that you're not treating me very well. CANCEL My Membership/Policy Now. I don't want anything to do with Choice Home Warranty.

I have been a member for 5 months and in November my garbage disposal stopped working. When I called for service I received an email (after talking to a rep.) with an appt. set up for the following week. The service technician came and said I needed a new one which he had in his truck. In less than an hour I had a new garbage disposal. Very satisfied!

I reached out via a marketing email as I needed a new home warranty. The call went pretty good until I declined a 6 year offer, the rep pressed as to why I wouldn't want to take it and I replied I just wanted the monthly. Then he offered me a three year program, I declined, then he laughed at me and I told him, "you know what forget it" and he said that the payment has already been processed and it was essentially too late and basically hung up right away. I was going to cancel but instead I'm leaving a review of my experience and I'll see how the service really performs.

Just signed up for 6 year plan. After discussing the plans with Andrew I was satisfied with what Choice has to offer. The plan covers everything in the house, pool and pipping into the house. I've had other warranty companies and have never been 100% happy with them. Andrew ** did a great job of explaining the plans. I went with a 6 year plan with a nice discount for paying up front.

Don't go with Choice. I been dealing with getting my washer fixed since October 2021. It is now January 31 2022. They promised a buy out then retracted saying they shipped a the parts 3 days prior to me calling in saying I didn't have the parts. Don't know how that's possible and Sears says they have no record of me having an appt nor them ordering these parts they claim Sears ordered. I'm done with choice. I'll be canceling my policy and going with a different company.

Our tech came for 2 minutes, did nothing, charged $65 cash. The problem became worse afterwards, and CHW does not want to reimburse us, after a second tech came from a professional company and did the replacement needed--a motor for the furnace. Problem solved. But not being credited from the first time is unacceptable. We gave it a try with this company but they've failed.

I was losing Faith In CHW. You had Nick Services come out this weekend for a garbage disposal, no issues. My mother canceled with CHW for not repairing her dishwasher due to rusted screw. CHW bought me out of a 2 yr old refrigerator for 599.00 because it was too expensive to repair.

My experience with Choice is that Choice is poor at communications. Choice selected 2 plumbers who never called, had a full answer box, and never showed. The third, JayDoesItAll was a great communicatior and they performed the job at 8 pm on Sat Jan 29th. We had similar experiences with Choice on earlier claims. THIS IS WHY WE ARE LOOKING AT CHANGING FROM CHOICE.

The service was quick and effective. The technician was professional and found the issue pretty quickly. He also tested all the water pipes and tightened the system. Everything was done in less than an hour. I recommend the service. I will use it again.

While the repair man was on time and polite, we really didn't solve the problem. My dishwasher was not draining the water. He told me I had to drain the water manually. This is not solving the issue. I have since spoken to someone to see if they could get me a different repair person or a new dishwasher. I have not gotten a response.

I have never had a problem when calling for service and then having the work completed in a timely manner, I am quite pleased with Choice Warranty and have recommended Choice Warranty to family as well as friends. I find that the price is great compared to what I would have to pay if I did not have Choice Warranty. Choice Warranty has been a true blessing to me and my household.

My heat stopped working. On the coldest day ever. I had an appointment three days out, I was moved to the following day. I got an awesome technician, he kept me updated on everything he was doing, made me aware of where things were and finished in a timely manner. Very professional and polite. Yes I am thrilled you are giving me a fixed amount towards a new washer because they could not fix mine. I don’t prefer Lowe's nor do I prefer having to wait up to 30 days to receive the e-card. The person who came out said that he needed to clean the system to make sure that was not causing my problem. I had to pay for that and that was not what was causing the problem. When I called today to try to get help I was told that I had to wait for a case manager to call me tomorrow. I was told not to use the heater until my case is resolved, even though the night time temps. are in the 30s.

I was told I would get my first service free because I recommended 4 people. We all bought 5 year policies. Meanwhile I never received a contract or a confirmation from your company. I had bathroom backup. I had to get my own plumber. You turned me down. So I threatened to cancel and you sent me 150.00. I try cost me over $500.00. Then my hot water heater was leaking and you paid zero. Cost me over $1000.00. I didn’t need a policy to pay out of pocket. I was told everything was covered and that was a lie. I will not renew my policy and my friends said neither would they.

We got a response to our claim submitted online within 10 minutes, and an email with a suggested appointment time within an hour. We had to wait 4 days for a repair person, but he was professional and efficient, and showed up on time.

The first repair company didn't know what he was doing on our hot water tank. He replaced some parts and wired them incorrectly. He did not check anything else on the tank. Service charge was $85 and after he left the water heater didn't work. After almost 30 days without hot water they sent another repair person. He knew what he was doing and said the parts that he replaced were caused by first repair man incorrectly wiring. Choice Home Warranty refused to pay for our repair.

At Sears Home Warranty, after 30 days when your policy kicks in you can file a claim pre-existing or not!! With this company you can’t!!! I’m going back to Sears Home Warranty and I suggest you do the same!!! My policy kicked in after 30 days and I filed a claim, paid the $75 for the repair and was told they were not going to fix it because it was pre-existing. I will be canceling my policy next renewal date!!!

While the service has performed adequately, I think that the response time of the technician could be improved. It takes several days to have a problem resolved instead of a day at most. Weekends may require more to avoid surcharges, but that should be the only exception..

Mike "Plumber" General Mechanical Services came 3 days after request -"Can't snake. Need to get approval to break thru wall & change pipe." Ok but not Happy - waited 5 days again - I purchased 2 snakes - spent 2 hours carefully removing small debris - repaired by me the 80yr old homeowner - contacted "Mike". Quote "I could have done it in 15minutes". "Really?" You wanted to destroy my tiled wall without first opening the exposed pipe - So -"thanks but no thanks". Paid $75 for a service call to waste 10 days getting the run around - rethinking "Choice".

Fearless Plumbing did a great job. However Choice claimed the leak wasn’t due to normal wear and tear. I can’t imagine what else it could be because I have never done a thing with the faucet. I hope this will not be my relationship with Choice in the future. This is my family’s original home and no one else has owned it. Please reconsider and pay Fearless Plumbing for their excellent work.

Overall the experience was very good. However, we are still in a Pandemic and precautions should be required when coming into a Stranger's home. I had to supply them with masks and booties. After we got that cleared up everything went well.

The warranty did not cover the leak from the drain pipe and had to pay $200 for the plumber to fix the drain pipe. Very disappointed in CHOICE and frustrated with the decision to not cover the repair. Considering cancellation of the CHOICE Warranty and selecting another company that is honest.

Signing up for the warranty was a very painless process. It was quick. It was easy and it was done. I like quick and easy. My wife and I had just moved to Bradenton from New York and could not find homeowners insurance for a reasonable rate. We came across this and at least this will cover my appliances and other things that need to be covered under homeowners policies.

The CHW technician from Sears Home Services was very professional and punctual. After checking the washer, he determined that it could not be repaired and recommended CHW for the replacement of the washer. I am still going through the replacement process with CHW to have my Whirlpool washer replaced with an equivalent unit of equal in value, amount, and functionality.

All in all it was a experience. Down had to wait 4 days for the plumber. Once plumber got here things went well. He replace the disposal with a very good one. The whole thing took about an hour. Very pleased.

I had a terrible experience trying to cancel my contract with Choice even after explaining that I could not afford the coverage due to a family health issue!! Choice continually connected me with their resolutions department rather than the termination personnel! I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. I am still in the process of trying to get a refund of my money. Extremely disappointed with their personnel. Would never recommend Choice!

It turned out my drainpipe had frozen. I was told what to do and by that evening it was open and worked just fine. Parker, the young man who came out called the next day to see if everything was alright. This is the second time I had Ollendick Construction to my home for different problems and each time they were courteous and took care of the issues in a timely manner.

Technician was fully masked upon arrival. Technician arrived within the time frame specified and completed the repair efficiently and swiftly. I'm sorry I don't remember his name, but he was very polite. I had my son in-law with him as he did his work in case he needed any assistance. Who could ask for more than that?
