I experienced an issue with my refrigerator temperature controls. My refrigerator was intermittently turning off, causing the fridge and freezer to malfunction. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and managed to diagnose the issue in a single visit. As of now, the issue appears to have been resolved.

I'll keep this short. The service is awful. First, make sure your appliances don't break because they'll look for any reason not to cover you. Second, don't expect them to keep an appointment time, they don't. Third, don't ask for a refund it won't happen, they'll say they're refunding you but it never happens.

The tech was knowledgeable, on time and stayed in contact with me throughout the day. CHW had a clause that refrigerator hinges are excluded from warranty. After appealing the decision CHW set up a phone meeting with Jade D. 2 days later and we came to an agreement suitable to me and CHW. I really appreciate Jade D's professional manner and her ability to talk through the issue and reach an acceptable resolve. Thank you Jade D, 5 stars.

For the last 3 years Choice Home Warranty has done nothing for us. Not paying for anything. Had to go to motel 3 different times because it wasn’t livable to stay in house till a repair men came. You are a poor excuse for a warranty company. I going to the BBB to file a complaint.

Extremely patient, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and most of all helpful. Carolyn reinvented my trust in Choice Home Warranty with her understanding. I was very upset after my claim was denied. I was ready to request a refund for my warranty that was renewed this month. However, after talking with her and hearing her proposed compromise, I was completely satisfied.

He came out earlier than the appointment so he could help get it repaired and found the problem and ordered the parts so we could get it repaired asap. They did a very good job and he is returning next week to complete the job.

We have been without hot water for going on 4 days now. Submitted a claim on Tuesday and still haven’t moved forward with getting the claim submitted. I’m very disappointed that they sent a company that definitely seems unqualified to fill the order.

He was timely, professional and knowledgeable. He stayed until he was confident the issue was corrected. He did have to go find a part to complete the fix. He came right back, installed it and was ready to go. He was quick and kept us well informed.

Our HVAC condenser located outside, 10 years old, needs replaced due to normal wear and tear per the technician...Choice Home Warranty has denied the claim due to rust and corrosion...the condenser, made of metal, located outside in a home at the beach, of course it has rust and corrosion, but the normal life expectancy of a condenser located at the beach is 8-12 years...ours lasted 10 years, yet claim was denied...very disappointed with how this claim has been handled, along with several other denied claims with Choice.

The technician was very friendly. He was more knowledgeable than the previous technicians that have come out before. He took time with me and you can tell he was thorough and not in a hurry to leave. He took pictures in sat down to carefully submit his paperwork making sure he was efficient. I would definitely recommend this company again. The previous company didn’t spend near the amount of time on the job.

The service technician was very professional and respectful of our home taking care to leave no mess and wore protected footwear to not track in anything from outside the home. He kept me informed along the reason for the problem and made the repairs promptly.

I tried for two weeks to file a claim on a leaky refrigerator. I used the callback feature because the hold was so long. I never received a callback. I performed this method every other day for two weeks. I finally held onto the line for over an hour to speak to a representative. Upon speaking to a representative I discovered that Choice had failed to register my email which would have allowed me to file my claim online even though I had filed previous claims with you. This neglect to set me up as a client has caused my inability to file a claim in a timely manner which as cause major damage to my wood floor. I am requesting a claim for my floor be open to repair the damage.

Repair men arrived on time, very knowledgeable, diagnosed the problem. They left to contact you. I am waiting to hear back. I still have leaky faucets and I await resolution of this problem. It is taking longer than it has ever taken with my old home service.

Choice Warranty sent me an email with day and time. The schedule was 7:am to 11:am. Central Heat and Air LLC called on Thursday advising me what time I should expect the technicians. Apparently Choice Warranty hadn't confirmed this schedule with them. I had canceled plans I had thinking the technicians would be here based on the time in the email. PLEASE CHOICE WARRANTY VERIFY THE SCHEDULE BEFORE SENDING OUT EMAILS WITH A DAY AND TIME YOU HAVE.

Couldn't have been happier with the prompt reply from Choice Home Warranty and the service petite by Volt Appliance was certainly efficient, but I was somewhat disappointed with the service time of day. I wasn't thrilled about coming into my home at 7 PM.

The owner of the company came on Wednesday and assessed my problem. He said that I should replace my new faucet because it was not one of the major companies and he didn't have parts to fix it. So I bought a new faucet and today another technician came and replaced a gasket and installed my new faucet. He was very polite and professional and even swept the floor when he was finished. It was a good first experience with Choice for me. Thank you!

Call from Eli was very professional and explained everything. Another salesperson I believe his name was Colin tried to sell me ADT security system. I told him I was happy with SimpliSafe and he started to raise his voice and if you like being monitored by a company that will take 15 minutes to respond, and I told him I was happy with them and thanked him for the offer. I would like to think we got disconnected but I really feel like he hung up on me. VERY RUDE! I thought to myself why would I want to do business this this company and felt like cancelling my NEW Policy with CHOICE, but it would not be fair to Eli.

I moved to CHW after being disgusted with another home warranty company. They failed to provide ANY experienced techs. They were all poorly trained and uninformed. I paid so much more monthly, as well as per service call, yet got so much less covered. CHW has provided excellent service, always in a kind & professional manner and they abide by their agreements. To date, we’ve gone through CHW for our kitchen fridge repair (compressor), garage upright freezer (fan), leaking tub pipes in the upstairs bath, and it looks like we’re going to have to file a claim now for our dishwasher. Ugh! When it rains …! But I completely recommend CHW. We are covered for almost everything, including our pool pump and heater. Hoping they don’t drop us for all this bad luck we’ve been having lately.

Waiting for parts and scheduled repeat visit not as soon as I had hoped (maybe waiting on the parts?) but the technician was knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. Will review again after the problem is fixed. This was just the assessment and couldn't be fixed without new parts.

The technician came, identified the issue, then applied the fix. The next day I thought the issue has not been fixed so I called him to come by to take a look. He re-inspected but did not think anything wrong. He then explained how things should work and asked me to call him again, if I think the issue still there. At all times, he maintained his friendly and professional manner.

Only minor problem was that there was some mixup in the address our repairman was given and it was only after I called him to find out why he hadn't shown up at our appointment time that he was able to get the correct address. He promptly came out right then and was able to repair the electrical problem quickly. Good job overall.

The contractor was great, but I didn't receive the email from Choice about the appointment until 6am the same day. More advance notice should have been given. The contractor called me at 8:30 to say he was on his way and I had no idea what he was talking about. Thankfully I had not yet left for work, so it worked out, but more notice is definitely needed.

My first experience with Choice after decades of bad experience with my previous Home Warranty Company. I was skeptical after initiating the process online Tuesday Night. Wednesday Morning I was shocked when I saw an appointment was schedule already. (With the old HWC, I have had to wait on the phone for 30 or more frustrating minutes discussing problems with foreign personnel--follow-up phone calls were needed to schedule a visit.) The CHW tech showed up early to fix my garage door opener. He discussed the situation of the broken door spring with his authority and within 40 minutes the job was complete. My furnace stopped working Tri-City was dispatched & I did not like their work ethic. They had to "order" a part & left me in the cold for a week! A couple of days it quit and I requested EMS Services, technicians were great but it took 3 trips to finally fix problem. I hope it doesn't quit again.

Our heat has been out for 17 days, it took until yesterday to get a replacement system that would be fine if you had ordered the correct equipment. The heat pack you sent was would not fit in the air handler. Problem still has not been resolved we still have no heat.

The gentlemen that came out from Doctor Circuits Electric were wonderful! They were able to figure out the problem. Very knowledgable! They ended up having to go into the crawl space and fixing loose wires. And they helped me with an outlet box issue that I had no clue how to fix!

The plumbing tech showed early last Sunday to look at our water heater that was not functioning at all. He took pics, sent them to his boss and left. The following Tuesday he gave me a call and said that CHW asked him to return here & reset my system at his expense. He did not because I had already done that on my own. He said they were likely to deny my legitimate claim if that didn't work. Why they didn't suggest that while he was here on Sunday, I have no idea. I still haven't received any response from CHW on this claim and yet, here they send me a survey. Today is Thursday. They may be cheaper than most, but CHW is not worth the hassle as they have denied multiple legitimate claims or didn't cover the full cost of repair in the few years that we have had accts at 2 different properties. And I still have no idea what their decision is for this claim.

The technician did a good job but we had to call him back because the toilet didn't stop running. Then we got a message from CHW stating that they would not cover this service call because it didn't fall under the guidelines of normal wear and tear. I am appealing this decision because I am not sure why a toilet handle coming off in your hands doesn't equate to normal wear and tear.

San Tan Plumbing fixed it the day after I made a claim to CHW. The technician, Trevor, was friendly and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. I would recommend the company. If I have another plumbing issue, I will request San Tan Plumbing again.

I filed a claim online and within 5 hours the job was completed. The technician was kind, informative and very efficient. My neighbor is trying to get things fixed at her house and it is taking weeks to get things fixed, if she can even get them on the phone. It was a perfect first experience.

My claim was denied because my compressor on my heat pump did not last the average life expectancy. Isn’t that the reason you purchase warranties, when things unexpectedly break? That are out of your control. So disappointed with Choice Home Warranty. I’ve been a loyal customer for 6 years. I will not be a returning customer again!!!

Mr. Michael from Clogged Drain Plumbing is a very knowledgeable guy, he explained patiently what could happened, and tried his best to fix the leaks. He gave some help advise on how to maintain the plumbing system, and tips on how to handle the claim. I am so happy with my experience with them.

CHW takes too long to respond. I felt bullied by Ms. ** and Mike **. CHW is a waste of money and I feel like I have been scammed. We were with AHS and they always treated us fairly. But we thought we would try a new company when they raised their rates. Now I see why your rates are lower. Your customer service is lower -- in fact there is no customer service just CHW taking my money! CHW should be ashamed of their treatment of customers. Over the years I have referred almost 2 dozen of our friends to American Home Shield. I would not refer the neighbors cat to Choice Home Warranty.

So far, Voice has been pretty great with our claims. We’ve had one recurring issue that we can’t get permanently fixed, but we’re making due the best we can. I’m not sure if it’s possible to get it completely fixed so the issue never happens again. If it is, I’d like to, as we’ve filed at least three claims on it.

He came & looked at the dryer & diagnosed what the problem was. It needed a new pump. That was on Tuesday & he ordered the new pump & left to pick it up. We had a snowstorm overnight so he didn't get back until late Thursday afternoon & installed the new pump. The washer works better than it has in quite a while. I'm happy with it.

I filed a claim on Wednesday morning and got a schedule date for that following Monday almost a week later to have them come out and it is winter and I have to go outside of my home for work, so I am not happy for such a long wait.

Knowing now that we have the coverage at my age and being disabled I am at peace of mind now if something happens. I went online and file my claim and it was answered quicker than I thought. The company that came out did a very good job of getting to the problem I had. My refrigerator has been freezing items in the refrigerator section, milk, lemonade, eggs, vegetables. I have had 2 other repairmen out to look at it but they never really fixed it. The Price Appliance repairman was wonderful and knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it.

We were without hot water since Friday, 2/4/22. Choice responded quickly to set an appointment with a provider. The provider scheduling took a couple of days. Choice indicated that no providers were available - likely because it was the weekend (2/5 -2/6). However USA Plumbing was scheduled to arrive on Monday, 2/7/22 between 11 am - 3 pm. The tech came timely and evaluated the issue; which required a part to be ordered with expected delivery in a day or two. This is where the exceptional service came into play. We contacted USA Plumbing and Sewer and they expedited service once the shipment came in on 2/9/22. Within 2 hours of receiving the shipment, the water heater was fixed and my family has hot water during these cold days. The customer service and follow-up from USA Plumbing and Sewer are notable and I would recommend them to anyone in need of services.

Response time was short and an appointment was set up for only a few days ahead. We were very pleased with the service, and would be happy to have Integrity A/C service again in the future.

The WORST most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. I opened a claim for 2 appliances on November 2021 and it has been over 3 month with several technicians cancelling without notice. No shows. Technicians seem to file claims for work that is not done. Stay away from this Home warranty company with No warranty to cover anything.

The tech was good. He fixed part of the problem but need a part to complete the repairs. That was a week ago. I have called twice and I was told they would call me. I am about to give up and go off warranty to get it fixed.

I am VERY upset with Choice Warranty. I have a diswasher that doesn't work and a technician has been out 3 times. It still doesn't work and the company that has come out to repair the refrigerator has been in touch with Choice. Instead of replacing it they told the company that they need to see that they fix it which may not take care of the problem even now. I will NEVER use Choice again!!!

Unfortunately, I have had a poor experiences because Choice is not replacing items when they confirm it needs to be replaced and has left my home at risk of fire. I will not renew and I will never recommend. Depending who you speak to, will determine what is covered because the language is not clear. I have read my policy from beginning to end and there aren’t clear outlines but when you speak to an agent they tell you what THEY think it means which is not in your favor. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Choice agents are incentivized to undercut its customers.

The technician had already arrived before I had access to the reimbursement information. He was in my basement working on the issue while I was on the phone trying to resolve the issue. I had never filed a claim so was unaware of him having to diagnose the problem and receive authorization prior. He fixed my furnace and completed the authorization form today. I feel that denial of this claim is unreasonable and will file a grievance with the BBB if unresolved. No parts were needed and his charges were very reasonable for the service and amount of time he was at my home.

The first technician assigned to us had terrible reviews. (Including taking money for parts needed, and then never coming back). We canceled that appointment through Choice, and asked to be reassigned someone different. The second technician we were assigned had great reviews, and did an awesome job. I had not used my microwave for months because it was making a snapping and scratching poppy kind of noise. This microwave is a built in, over the range that came with the manufactured home I purchased new in 2006. So it is 16 years old, never had any problems with it. I was afraid to use it for anything other than the light, fan or clock/timer. I contacted Choice Home Warranty and an appointment was made with Sears Home Services. Anthony braved the Michigan snow and ice and listened to me concerning the issue with the microwave. He was very polite and understanding. He put some water in it, and it worked. I felt really stupid.
He politely explained that when there is no moisture or food in the microwave it will make that popping and crackling noise because it is drawing from the grease and or food particles that may be in the microwave. He then checked over the major components to ensure that they did not need to be replaced. He was very cordial, funny and pleasant. I was glad to have my microwave back, and the information he provided will be passed on whenever I can. Thank you Anthony.

The last two claims I have put in one for a/c unit the second for hot water heater have been denied. The one for the a/c unit I was told I was going to be sued by the company Choice hired to do the work because choice was not paying them after two months. So I got new a/c units that I paid for myself. The hot water heater was denied because choice doesn't cover the tank which choice said is leaking but the company doing the work said nothing about the tank leaking. I'm just very disappointed and wondering why I even have choice if every claim is going to be denied.

I have had 2 claims for repairs to my HVAC. Choice denied them BOTH! After much arguing they finally paid a small portion on the first repair caused by a worn out bearing in the fan motor. The technician they sent was great and very patient with the situation. The second claim they have denied to the service vendor but have not contacted me at all since assigning the claim. They were very quick to take my money but my experience with actually getting repairs covered is horrible! I am considering cancelling the contract and asking for a refund.

Lawrence ** disconnected a fan at the Crawl Space. It appears that the vibrating noise was coming from the running fan. Mr. ** said since the crawl space is dry, the fan is not needed. However, I think the working fan should be there in case the crawl space is wet.

Technician (Keith) expertly examined the heater that had leaked some sediment. He determined that the heater was still in good working order but needed a valve replacement. Keith then removed the release pipe and valve. Vacuumed the piping to remove the wetness and installed the new valve. He suggested we check the heater monthly but the heater was in good working order.

My heating system was overheating and the fan blower motor was on constantly. The thermoset set temperature was not achieved by the system. EMS Technician diagnosed the problem as a rectangular hole in the main duct box. So I had to tape the large hole with mastic tape which corrected the problem for now.

He also found holes in the furnace area that I was not aware of since buying the home six months ago, but Choice Home Warranty wouldn't cover repairs for that because it wasn't considered "normal wear and tear".

To get a new water heater that took FOUR days with numerous calls to them and also have to pay $450 out of pocket is unacceptable. You speak to foreigners, get the runaround and no one seems to know what they are doing or get your claim resolved in a timely manner. I will cancel this plan ASAP. Definitely NOT recommended!

I was very disappointed when I had to have my faucet replaced. I did not have a real expensive one to begin with but it was heavy duty and larger than the one they replaced it with. The new one is so cheap looking. I am ashamed of it. It doesn’t even have the spray feature my had. Home warranty sounds good until you have to replace something then you never never get the quality you had, of course unless you pay a difference. I am not happy and probably won’t renew. I have been told by others it’s not worth paying for Home Warranty Ins, that’s how I am feeling now.

The technician was very nice and knowledgeable. The refrigerator cooling function was repaired, however, all functions weren't tested before the technician left. The ice maker is no longer working, but it was working before the repair. I would like if the technician were able to finish the job.

Our downstairs heating was not working and so we called CHW who promised to send out a technician in 2 days to check out the problem. Once the technician finished with his assessment, and requested approval from CHW to proceed, it took CHW almost 24 hours to respond and approve for the part to be replaced. Now we have been told that it is going to take another week to resolve a heating problem in this weather.

Neither of the items above could be repaired economically. I accepted to get an e-check for Lowes. All went smoothly, but I prefer to buy items at stores of my own choosing. In addition, I prefer to talk to a human, not recorded messages. There were several instances on both of the items above where Sears did not act in my best interests. But I must say that the technicians were friendly. For my washer it took from 10/11/21 to 12/22/21 to resolve, and for my freezer from 7/26/21 to 9/28/21. This is a very long time for an appliance that I depend upon to be out to service. A big item concerning these long periods is the 30 day waiting period for the e-check.

I had an issue with my central heater just as it was getting cold. My goodness - the heater blew cold air. The first company came out - cleaned it and it worked for about two days. I felt like this was a very sales-y push. I am just switching over to your company and it felt very forced. I also don't appreciate being told my contract would be adjusted to start sooner and to respond to an email that I didn't receive timely. I paid timely and was told the 30 day wait wouldn't apply if I sent over an inspection report. Here I sit waiting for the email. The guy was nice, but if something isn't going to happen timely...I need to know. Maybe that amount of money isn't a big deal to your company, but it is to me. I feel unsupported right now and this is my first experience. I'm a little disappointed. If I wanted to wait 30 days, I would have stuck with AHS.

We currently have AHS home warranty and we’re thinking about switching to Choice. So when the first customer service associate from Choice called me, I was taken aback by how pushy, demeaning and rude he was. After that call ended, I decided to call the toll free number to speak to another associate who hung up on me when I asked him how much a service fee cost? I called a 3rd time. Spoke with Roger who was kind enough to email me literature on service plans. My first impression terrible. However, Roger could not save the day. We will continue to shop for a new home plan as this one is not our choice.

Repair man was wonderful. Parts unavailable. Choice wanted to pay 257.00 dollars. No install fee. Finally able to talk to case manager and upped payment to 357.00 but would have to pay with E-Lowe's card and it would take up to 30 days for card. Poor service.

Heating company gave us 30 days to call back if anything happened again, which it did, 2 days later. They came back out the day after my callback at no extra charge, and fixed the problem. My Freezer in my Refrigerator stopped working, they send out a repair man within 24 hr. He was very polite and knew what he was doing. It was not repairable. I am getting credit towards a new one. Thermostat was changed. Temp not reading accurate. Had to call in to have checked. The visit fee was $60.00, one month later the fee had increased to $85.00 without any notice. Would like to be notified of call service increase.

I put it in a claim this morning. Within 15 minutes a service tech contacted me to let me know that they would be here in a few hours. Although my water heater has not been fixed yet because they haven’t even gotten here yet I am extremely excited how fast the service was for the technician to get a hold of me. The technician was awesome. The service from CHW has been disappointing!!! I will not ever recommend your warranty service. This claim has been denied because repair was made at time of service. I also had a claim for leak months back and that plumber repaired when he came. Now that’s not the correct way to get repairs. You have to have YOUR VENDOR come out twice bc you have to approve this. And you assigned the claim 3 different times even though repair was done and you were informed several times on my reply page. Now you won’t pay because repair was also closed when you erroneously reassigned 2 more times. Now I have no recourse for this claim. I’m very upset with the resolutions here. Claim #**. I am fairly satisfied to this point with the overall experience. Choice rep was nice. The tech was also nice. My disappointment is with the time frame to get the part and to make the repair. The tech addressed the issue Tues Feb 1st but will not be back to make the repair till Feb 8th.

Your Claims manager Azfar ** was very professional and expeditious in resolving my dispute. The young lady who I spoke with last to take my claim was not at all professional or understanding. I explained my situation as to why I initially answered online my refrigerator was in garage, and called to explain and verify it is in kitchen, she left it as if in garage leading to this claim to be rejected and repairs delayed.

The first time I talk to the sales rep, he was extremely nice and got me a great deal. The second time, when I called with questions, he was snotty, like I was annoying him. My original call I had told him that I wasn’t ready to commit yet because we were trying to get the seller to pay for a year, but he talked me into locking in a good price. I called back to get the full year cost as he only had me pay one month to hold the price. I needed an email with the full price and his contact info so the sellers could contact him to pay the full amount…which they did agree to. But his snotty attitude about me asking him for this info was kind of annoying to me when I explained the whole thing before I even paid the month. If I have any issues, whatsoever, In the sellers being able to pay, I’ll cancel and go with American home warranty or my local company TMI. I’m rating on the deal, not the customer service. 1 star for customer service.

Workers were in and out in no time and did a good job at replacing our garbage disposal. I can only recommend one thing, and that is to insist your workers wear a mask when visiting your clients. They frowned when I asked them to wear a mask before entering our home. His gesture made me feel uncomfortable. Other than that, it's all good.

Absolutely the second worse experience with a Home Owners Warranty company I've ever had. The worst experience I ever had was when I called them for a washer repair. I had to fix it with another company out of my pocket. Save your money, they are terrible.

Gas heater was broke. We had to endure cold in the house for two days before the tech, came. Several things were broke. He fixed all of them. Very professional and happy with the work. Serviceman was knowledgeable and courteous.

We recently came home to a leaking hot water tank. After turning off the power to the tank and cleaning up water, we contacted Choice immediately to request service. Every time WE contacted Choice (they will never call you) there was a different representative with a different account of what was to happen next in the process, how long it would take them to receive the tank, and what we needed to do on our end. It was an unnecessarily difficult process with poor communication from Choice representatives with no apology whatsoever.
The plumber they contracted was very helpful and could have had a new tank in on day 3. However, Choice requires the contractor to put in a tank that THEY order. While this is understandable, there's no reason it should have taken 7 days for that to happen. We went without hot water for 7 days. Luckily the contractor picked up the “Choice approved” tank and put it in the same day. Would highly recommend Absolute Plumbing in the Charlottesville, VA area- but not Choice Warranties.

On my second repair request refrigerator took 2 weeks because the “wrong part came”. The AC because the “wrong part came“ again. I don’t know how long this one will take since I’m still waiting. Not what I was expecting at all. Would not recommend.

You took long time to SEARCH & locate a contractor to service our Furnace. I called before noon. Contractor/tech called at 8pm. Would not come until next a.m.day. It was very cold. The technician was knowledgeable and courteous. Had me call CHW to have them merge my stove repair ticket with my fridge repair, saving me a deductible and time. The stove repair was rescheduled 3 times. They finished the stove repair and ordered the parts needed for the refrigerator repair.

I would give less than one star if I could. Two experiences with this company... fixing a shower valve...the incompetent plumber took a week for this simple job and then didn't even do it right. Then the furnace went out. The first contractor basically wanted to redo the entire hearing system (including ducts) for a mere $12,000. CHW rejected that bid and sent another contractor who had to be talked into even coming out. He turned on a malfunctioning furnace and then left. It ran for a couple of hours and then quit completely. CHW sent him back, and he was a no-show twice.
I finally hired a reliable contractor, got a reasonably good (but not top of the line) unit installed. Although the work was already approved, CHW would pay only about $700 (said they could buy a new furnace for $400... glad I didn't get that one!). This inadequate reimbursement was around 10% of the total cost, and I have been waiting now for better than two months for a check... and was just told it will be another 30 days. This policy is a complete waste of money, their contractors are incompetent, and customer service is horrible.

Our dishwasher broke, they seemed it in need of replacement. They offer us $236 to replace it. I decline the offer and wait another week for someone to call me. They up the offer to $350. Frustrating because you cannot even have the cheapest dishwasher available installed for less than $550. Then they tell me it could take 20-30 days to receive the gift card. Still waiting. Waste of time.

The plumber understood that clearing the blocked drain was SUPER IMPORTANT. He worked on making sure he fully cleared the drain, not just to fix it temporarily. He rented a tool from home depot to snake the drain out as far as he could. There were tree roots and greasy gunked up stuff clogging the drain.

I had a broken pipe. The plumber came. He wanted to modify how he fix it. Long story short. I had to pay $300 out of my pocket. When i call to see why I had to pay mainly all the bill, they tell me they don't paid for modification which I was not aware of. What is the use of having you guys. I wanted to cancel my service with you, which I was told I would only received less than than $200. I just renewed on Dec. 28. I will never use you again and I will not recommend your company to anyone. This is my third year. I never file a claim until this year. I have to stay because I will not give my money to your company. When time to renew I will not.

We had the best guy to come. JBB Home Service. It was a bad night. Cold rain with some sleet. He said he would be here before 8 pm and he was. He came and fixed it and the leak. Put in a new garage disposal. We was very impressed and would highly recommend him. He was polite, on time. Very helpful. And was gone before 8 pm.

I called One Call Solutions to see if they could reschedule the appointment time because of a conflict in scheduling, as well as the fact that we needed the door to be working as soon as possible. They were very receptive and responsive. They even offered to have someone come out that evening to fix out. Israel, the technician, arrived on time, was polite and worked very efficiently to replace the springs in a shirt period of time - impressive and would recommend.

James the tech showed up and did his testing and replaced with new unit in about 30 minutes. Awesome. Worked right after new replacement and have had no issues with it. The technician was great and fixed the garage door. Choice says garage doors are covered but read the small print and springs, cables and most of the garage door are not!! I was not aware of the reason of the broken water heater but he explained what happened and the reason the heater needed to replaced instead of repaired. Our technician was great. I’ll call him again. CHW has denied a third claim for me. I got CHW to make me feel better about an aging house. I feel more like I am wasting money paying my yearly subscription as it seems CHW’s goal is to train its employees to always try to find a reason to NOT help me when I need it. At this time I can’t see myself renewing my home warranty this year.

Thank you Choice Home Warranty for finally sending out a Technician who had experienced of working on LG products. The Tech was courteous and explained just what had happened to the cause the icemaker stop working. Maybe now Choice Warranty can get someone to service my Amana washer which I have been calling about since the pandemic in 2019. Each Tech the came out did not do a proper repair. When they left the washer was doing what I had called about.

When I contacted Choice Warranty about the problem with my clothes washer they got back to me and lined up a technician to come and check it out. If the repairs cost more than $250 they will replace the appliance. My washer was 22 years old so it would have been a nightmare to try to get parts for it. I had much better luck putting my claim online and emailing them than I did with phone calls. They gave me an allowance toward a new washer. I felt it could have been more but I settled for it. When I didn't want to go the Lowe's e-card route because we don't have a Lowe's in Watertown, they will send me a check. I'm satisfied with their service.
