Claim was very quick and fair. I have had 3 claims and all went well. I would recommend this company if you need a warranty on your home. Too many companies just get you to purchase and when you have a claim. You have a problem dealing with it but not this company.

Lack of hot water in main bathroom sink...Required replacement. I was reimbursed for the full amount of the replacement. We have been with Choice Home Warranty for over 10 years and trust they will take care of our home systems.

Repairman couldn't find anything wrong. We have had problems for months of the washer starting and stopping multiple times before it would run. I don't know why he couldn't find anything wrong with it today.

I was not expecting to receive monies for a new washer. I am very happy to know that I could purchase a washer with help from Choice. The company that came out to start the repair process were friendly and explained to me that I need a new motor part. I am very happy with the results.

This review is for the quick response I received from the time I reported a problem until I was given an appointment for the repair. Within a half hour I was given an appointment for the next day. That is good service. I will give an update after the service is complete.

Assigned to a case manager who never replies to emails or return calls and when I call the main line to explain my situation was told I already have a case manager assigned to me and will not be able to speak to another manager. Thought he was kidding but darn did he held on to that spiel even after I asked to be transferred to the cancellation department. Just total unprofessionalism, I didn't pay my monthly charges to be treated like an aggressive beggar.

Filter not working and freezer it freezing. Tried to change filter. Not able to and could not clear door. Tried to correct but wire came out and could not change filter. Called and was told a claim would be set up.

So far everything is falling into place and I am happy. I filed the claim at 1130 and by noon I had a technician scheduled to be here on Thursday. That's pretty rapid service. If everything else falls into place as rapidly I'll be a very happy camper. Ask me again after the job is complete.

Choice Home Warranty is a great company when they are trying to get you to sign a long contract. However when it comes time to use their service they do not follow their verbal commitments. I had American Home Shield years ago but when contacted by Choice it seemed like an awesome company. So wrong and I will be returning to America Home shield for actual coverage without the small print or uncovered items.

Repairman was fast and efficient. Did a great job. He arrived early and he explained what was wrong with the dryer and what he had to replace. He finished the job in about twenty minutes. He then turned on the dryer to make sure it was working properly.

Everything I need help with, Choice Home Warranty says "that part is not covered", "we don't pay for that". They send out a tech, requiring me to spend 45.00 knowing they are not going to cover it. I paid 1850.00 upfront for 5 years and they get out of covering anything! They don't even make the part anymore required to fix my freezer but it's still not covered!!

After the first scheduled tech was not showing up on the scheduled day, I contacted Choice. They found another company to come out and diagnose the oven problems. This company C&C was on time, polite and explained everything. Was very grateful they were here.

Sam ** did a great job helping me find the right home warranty and also gave me options to save a lot of money which I took advantage of. I really liked his clear explanations of how each option could help me but I never felt "pushed" into any particular one. He allowed me to ask questions and then chose the one which I felt best met my needs. Wonderful experience!

A water leak developed in my bathroom and master closet next to my bathroom last week. I reported this incident to Choice Home Warranty who scheduled a plumbing service to come to my home to assess the damages. The plumbers arrived on 3/28/22 and quickly diagnosed the problem. They informed Choice Home Warranty of their findings and waited to see if my warranty would cover the damages. We were told the damages would not be covered by my warranty and I could ask for an appeal of the denial. I had a water leak in my home that needed to be fixed immediately, I did not have time to wait for someone else to come to my home who may well have have denied the claim themselves. I have no plans to renew my home warranty with this company. If I need a plumbing service in the future, I will absolutely use the company that was sent to my house. They were excellent.

Choice took months to get someone to my home for HVAC issues. I do not recommend Choice at this point. Choice makes it difficult for contractors, so therefore none of them in my area will work for them. The tech that eventually made it out was great.

Wow.. what can I say.. entered repair needed at 9pm Sunday and fixed 10am Monday! What else needs to be said!!! Super fast response… Tech called in for approval on needed parts… Received ok in 10 minutes and completed repair.. all in under an hour! Wow! Highly recommended.

Giovanni is my service repair person and he is awesome. I had to make two different claims for my home and the claims account person notified me that I only need to pay one service fee even though there are two claims. When Giovanni came he was very professional on time and was able to identify the issues right away. He called me to notify me each time for each claim and service was impeccable!!! I highly recommend Choice Home Warranty!

They were very easy to work with and gave the best pricing for home warranties when I was shopping around. Also they offer pretty much everything else other companies offer for a lower price. They even offered very good deals for more than 1 year but at the current time was more than I wanted to pay but maybe later.

They would not give a senior citizen discount. They would only give me a break if I paid for the whole year upfront. Money is tight and can't afford a whole year upfront. Please offer me a break on the monthly charge for a senior citizen.

The service person came out to the garage and he knew what the problem was. He made a few measurements along with his notes and went out to his truck where he had the exact part. He explained what the issue was, he had the correct part and it would take about 45 minutes and he would have the job completed. Exactly 45 minutes and now works perfectly.

I changed from AHS to Choice because I felt the plan looked better. Brandon was very knowledgeable, not pushy, and answered all of my questions. I saved a lot of money by signing up for the 3 1/2 year plan. I canceled my other policy with another company that day so I did not even have a 30 day waiting period. Gets a 5 star review from me..

We are very pleased with the quick response regarding our A/C service call. We come to find out that our A/C unit needs to be replaced. Ramon the technician for H A/C - Pembroke Pines is very professional and knowledgeable. We also want to add that HW responded quickly with the response of replacing the unit and explaining the process in the steps needed to be taken to process the replacement quickly. We are grateful for the quick turnaround because HOT days are here.

I filed a claim on March 7th and appointments were made for a technician to arrive on March 16th and March 27th. Neither technician showed up on the scheduled date. It has now been 3 weeks since I filed the claim and nothing has been done to correct the problem.

Am very happy so far with the service offered by Choice Home Warranty. I called on a Sunday afternoon about a problem with my garage door. The call was answered very quickly by a representative. He created a claim-form, and within minutes I received an email from a service technician confirming a service visit for Tuesday. I understand, of course, that things don't normally go so fast. The official line is that "you will receive a call or email from a technician within 24 hours". It just so happened that for this particular claim, I got the service confirmation very quickly. I hope that the actual service from the technician goes as smoothly as my interaction with Choice Home Warranty.

Our A/C stopped working mid afternoon on a Sunday.. I called Choice home and the gentleman that took our information was very prompt and professional.. He informed us it would take up to 24 hours for a technician to contact us.. Within an hour I received an email letting us know a technician was on his way!! It was really getting hot in the house!! So thankful we have Choice Home Warranty for these unexpected events.

I didn't appreciate the fake appointment times that were emailed to me by Choice. Apparently the 11am-3pm time on Saturday you originally stated in an email to me & your most recent email claiming to reset my appointment to a Tuesday 3-8pm time were illusionary. The actual repair company has contacted me and set my real appointment to Wed 8am to 12pm. The illusionary appointment notices from Choice caused me to cancel meetings & wasted my time.

Recently my washer and refrigerator started acting up (different occasions). Glad I had a home warranty from Choice Home Warranty. Technician came out to look at the washer and found that a part was needed and assured my daughter that it would come in 3-4 days, well we're going on week 4 with no part and no call as to when my washer will be fixed. My refrigerator was acting up on week 2 of my washer part wait, took 4 days to get a techinican to come out and troubleshoot my refrigerator only to find they don't carry the part either and I was just informed that my part is coming in on April 14 (almost a 3 week wait) add on the wait to get the technician out and we're looking at 4 weeks without a refrigerator and washer. Glad I had the warranty but if this is how it's going to be every time something breaks, I may as well not gotten the warranty and just bought new appliances when I ran into these problems. I realize that repair technicians can't fix everything all the time due to parts availability, but twice in a row is frustrating as heck!

All of the issues were not resolved. There is still a light fixture that was not repaired. However the technician suggested to resolve the issue through him without Choice Warranty. I was told that my repair was denied after paying $65.00.

Repair person was good, timely, and efficient. An allocated reimbursement for dishwasher. Helpful but not a replacement. Repairman a week ago and I have still not received gift card which must be used at Lowe's to help purchase a new dishwasher. The gift card is done through email, mailing it would have faster!

The technician was great and diagnosed the washer as a bad transmission. He said it would cost 6-7 hundred to fix, so it’s a buy out. When I signed up with Choice, they said they will replace the current value of my appliances. Well you show me where in today’s world where I can buy a new washer for the $343 dollars you offered. I will not be renewing my policy with you. That is twice I’ve been scammed by Choice Warranty.

CHW handled my request for repair extremely well and very expeditiously. Repairman called ahead of time and requested that it be ok to arrive the day before the scheduled appointment time. He was equally fast and professional. Although he did not make an actual repair, he gave us a good indication of what was the cause of our complaint and while demonstrating operation, could not duplicate the original problem.

xThese breakdowns happened within three weeks and they were taken care of by Choice Home Warranty within 2 weeks and we were very pleased with their quick taking care of our problem. I called in the Claim about 6 or 7 o'clock on Wed evening and had an appointment set for the very next day. Arrived on time and spent maybe 30 minutes or so replacing a bad activater switch and was gone. Great service all the way around.

The Tech kept in contact with me regarding arrival which was important to me since I had to leave work to meet him. He was very courteous and knowledgeable about my ac issue. The technician told me that the furnace needed to be replaced because it was making a loud noise and it was 21 years old. Your Co. didn’t approve it! He said that Carbon Monoxide was leaking. I paid $165.00 for a sensor and fan.

The longer you say no the lower the price gets. Why not just give me the best price to begin with. Then once I said yes they tried to upsell me with discounted multiple years. Once I said no, that price went down. After all the bargaining was over they tried to sell me an alarm system. I said no and the game began again. One day after the purchase they called me and wanted to verify that they had all my information and while they had me on the phone they wanted to “offer me” an alarm system again! The actual warranty looks really good but I’m gonna cancel because of how obnoxious the process is.

RJ Construction was professional, easy to deal with and thorough. They replaced a 3 position fan switch. According to Choice policy I had to pay for the switch. Why? They replaced the outside GFI quick. Check the Kia I fan and it was not a problem.

Service was excellent, but Choice did not cover the expenses. I am looking for another home warranty service. I would not recommend Choice to my friends and relatives. I had to pay $450 above the $75 visit charge. Choice should tell the customer exactly what is covered by the plan and what is not covered by the plan. It seems that very little is covered.

Sales contacted me immediately and I was considering purchasing the 1 year plan. Then the representative put me on hold to ask a supervisor about a senior plan as my father lives with me. He did come back and offer a 6 year discounted senior plan, however payment is due up front. I told him I can not afford that so I want to do the 1 year, he continued to pressure, I said no again and explained I can not afford that amount now or even over the next few months. He continued to pressure so I told him never-mind, I will speak with someone else and hung up. That representative had the audacity to charge my card for the one year plan and email me the receipt! I am currently waiting to get a call from a supervisor and on hold with my bank to block the transaction. This has left me with no faith in Choice Home Warranty, if this is how they treat customers from the beginning I do not have confidence in them.

A.C. at previous house kept freezing up. Condenser leak. CHW replaced unit, no fuss. Present home didn't have CHW so when renewal time came, it's back to CHW. There are many similar services but I choose to stay with a known and trusted group.

My five year old dryer was no longer heating and wouldn't dry my clothes. Reported it on Tuesday. Had a repairmen assigned the same day. Came on Thursday, found the problem, replaced the part and now all is well. Technician was excellent. Overall, good experience.

Repair person arrived on time and was polite and cordial. He listened to my husband when describing the issue with the kitchen faucet. He politely asked appropriate questions when necessary to fully understand our issue. At first he thought he would need to replace faucet but was able to disassemble the faucet and clean it out. He reassembled the faucet and now it works!

The technicians are usually friendly and nice but the materials are subpar, I'm having to wait a long time for parts and then they are delayed right away. Why don't subcontractors have inventory? Also, no one has ever asked if I'm ok with the appointment times set up. This is inconvenient. Customer service reps speak like bureaucratic lawyers so I have to interpret what they are saying. And why wouldn't you pay out if the repair is so close to buying a new one!? Then you wouldn't likely have to come back for years. It would be better on your part. Not satisfied with the overall experience. I could just call someone to come out myself, especially with the high service call fee since most offer free estimates.

We have filed multiple claims with Choice Home Warranty since paying our premium last year. Every one has been a difficult process. Choice will make it a long-drawn-out process and then try to pay as little as possible. We have 3 open claims. If they are not completed to our satisfaction we will be taking our business to another home warranty company.

The tech who arrive was excellent. He repaired, actually replaced, the ice making system of my freezer in a very short visit. He not only replaced the old system but he explained why he had to do the replacement, in lieu of simply repairing the old one. I am very happy with the repair, the tech who was sent and the quickness of service as provided by Choice Home Warranty.

The appointment has been scheduled for almost 6 days after I reached out about the issue. I understand the workforce. Now the tech called me and canceled for Monday. But did not call you. So, I have been told to wait at my house Monday and if he does not show it will be put back out for service. When I argued that made no sense; the customer "service" rep said this was process. She would try to call and email the tech but if he did not respond I would have to wait. It is early spring in PA and it is in the 20's for temperature through this next weekend.

My only complaint is that I won't receive completion of service until March 29, 2022. Repair parts were ordered 3/18 & delivered 3/24. Five more days without use of the washing machine is less than acceptable! The repairman ran the washer and left two pair of Levi's that were soaked & needed to be dried! The drier was without power and I checked fuse box and detected nothing unusual but I couldn't see if the drier might have been unplugged!

Sold my property that I had purchased 3 yr protection. When sold I had about 1.4 yrs left. Lost the paid time because I could not transfer balance to another covered property nor get refunds with your company. Been with Choice for several years….2 properties until I sold one. I did not know nor did I see the purchasers of said property nor did I have interest in knowing them to offer them the balance on insurance and they did not ask for a warranty. My LOST. That was July 2022 and it is still with me. I like CHOICE WARRANTY…..but not this scenario.

I called back in today Friday and the customer service rep said that it was never requested for a supervisor to call me! Once again I have to wait for a supervisor to call me! This was a second call out for the same job. First time they stayed for about 15 min. Tighten up all the pipes and said they fixed it.... 3 days later I was catching buckets of water. They came out, installed new pipes and sealer. So far so good. Very pleased with CHW. They made all the arrangements, plumbers were here when they said with a courtesy call before arriving. My most recent experience occurred several days ago. I called CHW because I needed an electrician to fix my bathroom light. CHW quickly scheduled a appointment with Select Electrical Service. The technician called me on the day of the appoinment to let me know he was a few minutes away. I appreciated the communication. The technician arrived on time and did a great job in repairing the lighting fixture. He was professional and very courteous and friendly, and provided me with some useful suggestions. If I have another electrical problem in the future, I will ask for Select Electrical Service and the technician. I believe his name is Miguel. Great experience CHW and Select Electrical Service.

The plumber was on time, efficient and very patient. He was here for over an hour waiting part of that time for an authorization to repair my problem! Received no answer from Choice and he had to move on. He called me later that day and stated he got an OK to fix one problem, but not the other. So my home warranty will cost me another $600.00!!!! They will not honor their warranty if something was previously worked on by someone else. I bought a Home and got Choice Home Warranty to protect myself from any issues since the house was built in the 80's, but it's useless because if THEY determine that an appliance was previously worked on by someone, even before you bought the house, they will not cover the appliance repairs, which basically makes their home warranty worthless! They have lost my long-term business over a $600 repair. I am currently looking for another home warranty provider.

I am very livid at this time. There is a charge for $600+ taken from my account that was NOT agreed upon with the Service Representative. He told me the deductions would NOT start until the end of April and on March 23rd the money was taken out of my account. This is false advertisement and I don't like it one bit. I am a senior citizen who lives on a fixed income who cannot afford that.

I submitted a request for repair via the website. By the next morning I had a scheduled repair appointment. I received detailed information on the repair company providing the service and timely reminders of the appointment. The only downside to this is not on Choice Home Warranty, but the repair organization. I provided detailed information on the issue and within 3 minutes of arrival, the technician knew what the problem was and that he did not have the part available. He took the time to verify and I have no complaints there. I am just disappointed that I have to wait an additional 2 weeks for the dryer to be fully operational.

My kitchen faucet was leaking when turned on and it was replaced and fixed above expectations. The repair person was extremely knowledgeable and professional and completed the job in less than half an hour. Filing an online claim with Choice is fast and easy. I filed my claim after normal business hours and still received a response that night scheduling someone to come out to service my dishwasher. In addition, the technician confirmed the appointment, contacted me to ahead of his arrival, and provided follow up information after the service call. Classic example of bait and switch. The person who sold me the plan told me one thing and provided another. The handymen they send in to fix the problems don’t know what they are doing. He cracked a pipe he shouldn’t have been touching in the first place and flooded my basement. I had to sit on phone with Home Choice to get special permission for emergency service while my basement flooded. Another time I called about a broken toilet and when they couldn’t fix it they refused to cover me for a new one. Even though it was well within my policy to get one. Customer service was terrible. Most of the time I would get “disconnected” while waiting on hold. The few times I was able to get through was frustrating. The man I spoke with was rude, wouldn’t let me speak to a manager and then hung up on my face.

The problem I was having did not fit into the categories offered. Signing in required I enter the same numbers several times. I tried calling and was sent to a robot that provided me with the same categories as the online checklist, saying representative returned me to the beginning of the phone message all over again, numerous times again "representative" did not help. What did get me transferred was my angry obscenity-filled screaming at the bot. Apparently, a spike in blood pressure is the cost of speaking with someone. The person I spoke with had a hard time understanding me. Finally I was able to place my repair. I received no notice that the repair person had been found just a call 30 minutes before he arrived.

The gentleman who came to inspect my dishwasher was extremely prompt, efficient and courteous. Within 24 hours I was notified that CHW determined that repair was the appropriate course of action. I was notified that parts would be delivered to my home; to notify CHW when parts received and the repairman would schedule a return visit. Subsequently, ball dropped. After 2 weeks, no parts, and not even a response to my inquiry online regarding progress.

Our repair ladies were very nice. They determined the problem with the dryer within 15 minutes. We were able to use the dryer again within 72 hours. Our claims person was very kind and she was very helpful. The entire repair process took less than five days including the repair parts order.

The service tech plumber (who was great) unable to correct the problem. Recommended further service, which this company didn't provide. I called Choice who said they did not have the report from the tech yet. I called the service provider and they said it had already been sent. I called Choice back and still not there and to give it 24 hours, so I said I would call back at 3:16pm. At 3:24pm I had the email and after careful review the suggested repair was not approved. Hmmm, somehow within 8 minutes, the report was received and given careful consideration and the notification sent. Really.... How much consideration was given.

CHW was $200. less for 1yr, $25. less for a deductible per occurrence and gave me 13 months for the price of 12. Better than their competitor's was offering. And topped this with 3 1/2 yrs for $1,932. That's $48.30 per month! Platinum coverage including my standalone freezer, pool/pump, hot tub, and 2nd refrigerator. Oh yea and a $65. deductible!!

He was fantastic and deserves 5 stars. BUT the rest of you have not been. We received a notice that the repair would be made today. Called the technician and NO ONE had put it on his schedule. Still awaiting follow-thru from Choice and repair or replacement. It's now been over a week and had to switch companies because of the rudeness of the first one. Paid for a 5 year account - this service isn't going well. The technician was GREAT/FANTASTIC but no one else has stepped up to the plate.

4 wks ago we contacted Choice. Because our AC/heat was not working. 1st person came Out, collected Copayment and said he would order part. Never returned even after multiple phone calls but system was still barely working. 2nd person came out. Said system was fine. Even though making loud noise. Totally quit working on 3/20/22. Places another call. Tried to Explain it was third visit And she said we would not be charged. Third tech would not repair without payment so we Paid Again. Would like refund of $60.

First off it took the account specialist 4 days to even finally contact me after I reached out to her 4 times and had to call into support and have them reach out to her! Secondly supposedly she forwarded my complaint to a supervisor who had 72 hours to contact me. Never heard from him/her and it was over a week. Third she lied about the amount couldn't be increased. I had to call and almost cancel to get proper customer support and the truth. All in all this experience was horrible. The two people I spoke with in cancelations were actually great. I would have canceled if not for them. Please get better account specialist who actually care about their job and customers.

Updated on 04/10/2022: Jackson Water & Drain was as good as it gets. Was competent and very fair. The plumber "Derrick" was knowledgeable, friendly and very honest. If and when I need a plumber, I would surely call him and I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.
Original Review: Would have been nicer to talk to a real person when reporting a problem. It would be much more personable and you would have a bit more insight as to what is happening next. I am now in the dark as to when I will know when someone will be here to fix or replace the water heater.

We bought our house with a home warranty included. The warranty was not with CHW but we had a claim with our plumbing and it saved us quite a bit of money. We let the warranty expire and a month later our furnace went out and cost us $3,700 out of pocket. We then after searching selected Choice Home Warranty. We been with them for three months and had two claims which were handled quickly and professional.

I requested a claim through the webpage. A technician was assigned for the next day. However the technician was a no show. I reported the problem by calling and was assigned another technician. This technician called immediately when they received the claim. On the day of service, the receptionist called with ETA. I would totally recommend the company who provided the service. I would suggest that the claim department survey the yellow pages of an area prior to assigning the claim. I believe there are bogus companies out there. BTW - we had the same experience in Omaha with a no show of a plumber.

I called to have the Refridgerator in our kitchen repaired - both fridge and freezer just totally quit. A service tech was scheduled to come out two weeks later and arrived on time. The Service Technician was great and knew exactly what the issue was - a seized compressor. He sent the details to Choice as needing a new compressor, a dryer assembly and a service valve. I was told by the service tech that the two extra parts were required by LG (the manufacturer) to replace both when the compressor seizes - because history had shown them that a fault in the dryer and valve led to failed compressors. Choice denied the claim because they believed that the dryer assembly and the service valve were modifications. The reason that the compressor failed is because the two other parts failed first.
Bottom line, the tech argued with the Choice service approval people for over an hour and they refused to listen. I asked the service tech what would happen if we just proceeded and did not replace those parts and he said that the compressor would fail soon again. I called and talked with the Choice Service desk four more times and they sent it to a review. The review came back that they do not pay for modifications (or apparently all of the repairs needed to make the refrigerator work). So I am just paying for the additional materials and labor to get the refrigerator working. They did finally approve the work order, with me paying part of the invoice and now I am back in another queue to get the parts ordered and the work done. I got the home warranty when I bought my house. Everything in my newly purchased 40-year-old house was in working order, just old. Then the hot water heater went out, then the AC unit went out, then the air handler, then the microwave, then the septic had problems. I feel very fortunate that Choice stepped up and did right by me. I would recommend them to a friend.

Browns Appliance came in timely manner, figured out what was wrong and ordered part and only took about a week and they came and put it in very quickly, very nice young men. Great job and fast. Was the rubber ring around door.

Not very happy with the final results from our claim. It was my first experience with filing a claim, and having to try to argue my case for a comparable replacement was not enjoyable. I guess I was naive about the process, and I found it to be a very unpleasant learning experience.

Not satisfied with the way plumbing company done their job! Just used small auger both times not a big one. One plumber said it was the washing machine or the hose coming from the washing machine? Also requested a case worker. Have not heard from one, just wanted to tell my side of story! Thank you.

The Sears repair technician was very knowledgeable and efficient. It took him a brief amount of time to diagnose the problem and order the new pump, which arrived in two days. Hopefully, he will get the assignment to do the install but that is not guaranteed. Nice guy also.

I have a Bradford white forced air hot water heater. It is 20 years old but was working fine until a couple weeks ago. Now everytime it turns on, it makes a high pitched constant whistle type sound that does not stop until the unit shuts down. I reported the claim and as No one got back with an appt about a day and a half later, I chose the option to hire my own plumber.
Here's the interesting part. I have had 2 plumbers here already. Both hear the noise, both think the unit itself should be replaced because they believe once they start taking things apart to just replace either the fan or the motor, they will encounter issues with the tank or the other part not being replaced. Additionally, the cost to replace either part with labor would be more than either recommend putting into a 20 year old tank.
Once I tell them I have a home warranty and they need to fill out the claim form (in advance) for me to get reimbursed, they no longer want to do the job because they both said dealing with home warranty companies is a nightmare and they don't want to get in the middle of it. I went so far as to guarantee I would pay them and wait to be reimbursed but they need to submit for pre approval.. No luck.
I am now in the position of being forced to consider replacing the unit and just paying out of pocket without filing a claim because that is the issue. I can't get the plumber to submit the form for pre approval. If it was just one plumber, I would think maybe it's because the unit doesn't need that much work and he's just trying to make money off of me. But when the 2nd unrelated plumber said the same exact thing, I have to believe it. So much for a home warranty.
Thank the lord my heater is still functioning right now so I have some time. But once that high pitched constant whistle goes to the next level, which is either the motor stops working or the fan stops working or they both stop working, I will be without hot water until I can get someone to address the issue. Which will probably result in me paying without any reimbursement.

I called and the Technician arrived quickly! I had my HVAC inspected for my pre-summer checkup. The Tech found an issue and I called Choice Warranty for their opinion. I received great peace of mind from the Choice Tech. They showed me really what was what.

The agent was polite and not pushy, impressed me as someone interested in helping and getting me on board, but at the same time informed not to cancel with my present warranty due to the fact that Choice would not be in action until 30 days after enrolling.. I appreciated that information.

Calcum would not flush on its own. It had to be replaced. Taken care of within days. I am very pleased. The plumber came on Tuesday, and the new one is scheduled to be installed on Thursday. I am very pleased. Great job.

Does not turn on. The technician was on time and very good and helpful. He analyses the situation and explained the problem. He indicated he would refer the matter to Choice and they would make the final decision. They would contact me for they resolution.

I had an issue with two ceiling fans not working. I tested the breakers but that didn’t fix it. I worked with Victor from Military Men and he was great! Got my issue resolved quickly. Turns out they just needed to be replaced. I will want him back again for all my electric issues.

Choice Home Warranty - Choices subcontractor TJS Enterprise destroys my shower. On 3/15/22 a claim was filed with Choice Home Warranty about a broken line behind a plastic shower. Choice sent TJS Enterprise out to fix it. Rather than removing the shower, fixing the leak and reinstalling the shower. Choice's subcontractor cut a hole in the plastic shower wall. Now we have a shower with a hole in it. Choice Home Warranty claims they are not responsible. They said I would have to get TJS Enterprise to fix it. Choice claims they do not have TJS's plumbing license, insurance, or bond information they can give out. TJS will not return my calls. Choice Home Warranty suggested that I call from a different number or call the police to call them. THAT IS CRAZY. I will continue fighting with Choice until the shower has been replaced.
Desired outcome: The shower needs to be replaced by a licensed contractor. TJS will not enter my home again. This is a cheap shower new at Home Depot about $650 and about $400 to install. Choice Home Warranty offered $185.00. They charge about 750.00 a year and then try to plea down the cost so you pay for the repair. Just read through the BBB complaints and you will see for yourself.

On time, quick and clean. Identified problem and solution. Got approval to replace part which unfortunately requires another visit next week. That's 2 WEEKS WITHOUT refrigerator. Not his fault, but way CHW requires approvals. We will see how repair goes next week and if time and work meet expectations.

My air stopped working on a Friday & I went online and filed a claim. I was contacted almost immediately with the name & number of company to do the service call. Fixed the problem efficiently, was very thorough and neat. Cleaned up after himself. Explained what he was doing as he was doing it.

The technician was very professional and polite. He assessed the problem and filled the claim efficiently. The insurance company is a scam. They find any reason to deny the claim. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I would recommend the technician and his company.

Once I notified Choice HW we had an appointment within 24 hrs. We were given a date and time for arrival. However, the company assigned to our repair didn’t show up or call? That was of course the fault of the Contractor, not Choice Home Warranty. We called CHW & notified them & requested a new Contractor, we received notification of a new Contractor the next day. It did take about a week for them to come out, but the result was worth it! T&B Service of Loves Park, Illinois came out the day assigned & determined the problem in short order. Tim said he would notify CHW for approval & let me know. He did just that & returned within a few days with the part & was in & out within about 20 min. Our washing machine now works great!! The next time I need Home Appliance repair I will request T&B Services from CHW! We were very pleased with the overall Service from Choice Home Warranty!!

Program very inclusive regarding coverage of home, systems and appliances. Cost structure for coverage and service fees very reasonable for one's budget including monthly payments.

The response to the initial claim from Choice and HVAC provider that they selected along with appointment was quick. The technician found the problem quickly which turned out to be a 5 minute replacement of a contactor. My only complaint is that the approval process which requires the tech to call his office who in turn has to call Choice for every little thing caused this 5 min and relatively inexpensive repair for the contractor to turn in to a couple of hours. I can see why "out of network" contractors like Knight Heat and Air no longer work with home warranties.

After almost two weeks of constant e-mails and telephone calls to CHW and the company assigned the job to unclog my bathtub drain, and the inconvenience of rearranging my time for appointments that didn't happen, the job was finally completed. I was very angry at a point because neither company was professional enough to give me an explanation why it took so long for anyone to respond to my growing concerns.
When the tech person finally arrived to do the repairs, I didn't express my anger at him. I was very polite, and I questioned as to why the long delay. The technician answered my question politely and with a very heartfelt apology. I appreciated his sincerity and honesty and he completed the job. I was very happy with his work. There must be better truthful and honest communication between your company and the customer when there may be unforeseen delays or problems in completing work on time. I will continue to use CHW with the understanding and expectation that something like this won't happen again.

Never got the leak fixed. I had to do it myself. All the plumbing companies that are in my area will not work with Choice because you'll don't pay your bills. So this contract I have with you is not worth **. It's the biggest scam going and I'll be sure to let everyone know by word of mouth and social media that choice warranty is a scam and waste of money.

I called to get quote on home warranty and Matthew assisted me in getting full coverage and extra. He also assisted me in getting a payment plan for a veteran (myself) to cover 3 1/2 years of coverage. It was stressful but did complete it and am happy with the results.

Technician showed us the cause of the plumbing stoppage and told us without repair of drainage pipe, sewage backup will continue to occur. We are unable to use toilets for solid waste and toilet paper without risking backup of sewage into bathtub and toilets. Sewage was drained but problem was not repaired. Latest monthly payment was taken out of the wrong bank account without authorization and was $9 more than our quoted price. Very disappointed in service or lack thereof that was provided by Choice and will warn all family and friends to avoid this company.

With Choice Home very dissatisfied with their past and dealing with them and issues. With the last technician he was very knowledegable and seemed to at least know what he was doing. As far as choice home warranties, I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone I know at all for any reason. They tell you one thing, then another, then charge you anyway for service call and all that even after they put out money to the contractor to fix said item. They have lack any and all communications to any of their customers.

The James Appliance was contracted to service my washer & microwave. The service tech was very courteous & knowledgeable. He kept me informed about what was happening with my appliance and its condition. He made the repairs to my washer & it is now working. He felt the microwave needed to be replaced.

Though the technician was great, I didn't care for some of the practices of the SEARS company. They continuously changed my appointment and were not easily contacted. I'm accustomed to being contacted before the technical arrives but that never happened. For whatever reason, the first person can't be called before arrival. However, the technician was professional, explanatory, and on time.

Our garbage disposal stopped working. Scheduled an appointment with ops. The tech arrived on time and was very knowledgeable about the problem and told us we needed a new one. He replaced the disposal and did not leave any mess to clean up after. Excellent customer service. I would recommend this company for anyone having plumbing issues.

I was never contacted by the Manager by phone only with an e-mail that I could have easily missed. I had to call in myself and take care of my request. I feel the washer was fixable for a reasonable price and disappointed in decision. I am also disappointed that the service call increased so much without any notification.

Choice was very prompt in their response and had a tech out very quickly to diagnose the problem. Once diagnosed, Choice was again quick to set up a fix for the problem. I am very pleased with their fast response to any of my inquiries during the process.

Technician arrived timely. Restored air conditioning. Tech also checked to be sure all systems were go with outside unit as well. Thought they were thorough and would use them again. Having a husband with dementia, I find the decision to go with a home warranty puts less on my plate. Thank you for that!
