It was easy to make my appointment and as well as cancelling it. My experience was good. The person I talk with was very good at their job. That make me feel good when I call and need help I have someone there who will know what I am talking about.

My policy is coming up for renewal and I find it a complete waste of money and time. I had a pipe that was broke in wall. Choice in their infinite wisdom denied the claim. I had another claim when our dishwasher broke last year. They send enough for a new dishwasher $145. This was a joke. Find a dishwasher for that amount. These guys will not pay claims. It seems like a racket. I am out $65 for each visit. They also seem to send out second rate vendors. I am going to submit the claim again. If it is denied again. I will take to SM to preach to the people about this.

A 10 plus year old Hot water heater was leaking. Could not be repaired. The policy contained numerous exclusions. Unit was replaced with personal funds. Will self insure in the future and avoid the hassle of dealing with a vendor. I will not recommend this policy to anyone.

This warranty always look for something to deny claims. Contractors are quitting on them because they get numerous claims and all denied to unverified issues. CHOICE warranty is very hard to get ahold of, they take their time to return phone calls and everything is on their terms no matter what your needs are. I am very dissatisfied with this warranty. Advise not to get it.

My experience was a little confusing. I put in to talk to someone about the settlement and they responded with emails right away. The problem was that I was assigned 3 different case managers so unclear who was handling my claim. Still waiting for the funds to replace. The person I talked to was very kind and helpful. Just waiting on it all to come through.

This company is a complete fraud. I looked at the paperwork very carefully before I paid my money. I had someone come and fix some water stuff in my house and they pointed out that there was a leak. As soon as I put the claim in for that it was denied within seconds. I want my money back. I'm gonna complain to the California insurance board. I'm gonna complain to everybody who knows you guys are criminals.

I made a claim for the repair, and was contacted right away by the plumber to fix my toilet. They came out the next day. They had all the necessary parts on their truck, and fixed it promptly. The plumbers were very nice, and prompt--- the woork they did looks good.

The plumbing company that was sent to assess and fix our issue was quick to diagnose and fix the problem. Always great service. They made sure we were satisfied with the work and CHW also followed up to be sure everything was taken care of.

So far, my experience with EMS Home Services has been good. He came out and diagnosed the problem. Now, we are just waiting for the parts to come in so he (or another associate with EMS) can finish the repair.

Technician arrived right when he was supposed to, assessed the situation I was concerned about, examined the equipment and concluded it was operating properly. He explained that the long time it takes for the water in the rear bathroom to heat up is a function of the distance from the tankless hot water heater not a malfunction of the unit. Technician was friendly and polite.

When I purchased this warranty agreement, I asked the sales person, Paul **, and he assured me that the policy I purchased would cover appliances that are in my rental property, which is on the same property as my main residence. Very disappointed when dryer needed repair and it was not covered. I used repair service you sent and paid for repairs directly.

I have a problem with CHW not paying certain claims that I feel should be paid. CHW took nearly a month to find an electrician so I'm very dissatisfied and thinking about switching to another company and you raised the fees and you're not doing any better.

Tech contacted me and gave a estimated time of arrival, upon doing so he asked several questions before investing my concern. After his investigation he gave a diagnose and a breakdown of the repair/replacement of part and time frame to obtain such if needed through CHW. After his contact with Choice, he in turn contact me and informed me of the next step and an estimate of date to return to complete the job at hand.

We submitted a request for a service call and within 2 days a serviceman arrived. He checked out our AC unit and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. This is the second time this AC company has responded to a problem with our AC. Both times the service was great.

Easy to file a claim via online or I could have done it with a live person. Scheduling of the service was done quickly and seemed to be coordinated with Choice and their preferred service persons. This is the third time in one year requesting these minor services - all were done 100% correct and in a timely fashion. Best Warranty company I have had in 30 years and well worth the peace of mind that there are Pros out there that care - Choice and their contracted service team.

The technicians were polite. Covered their shoes before coming in the house and worked quickly to repair the hot water heater, the vent was clogged with lint and the pilot light would not light. They were done less in than an hour. I would use them again.

Jose, the technician from J&N Heating and Air was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and above all he explained the problems and solutions associated with my HVAC in terms that I could understand which put my mind at ease. He was also kind enough to speak to my husband on FaceTime and explain everything to him as well. I would highly recommend him and his company as well as Choice Home Warranty. I am so glad that I canceled my membership with American Home Shield and become a member of Choice Home Warranty. The technician deserves 5 stars, he was courteous and punctual. He provided us with fast and reliable service. However, Choice Warranty is a horrible home warranty the company never fixes issues found in homes. The reliability of the company to cover any of the items in your home is nil Choice Warranty will find a loophole to get out of covering any expenses but will collect insurance payments offering promises they do not have the intention of ever fulfilling.

Technician was very courteous very nice and very knowledgeable got me up and running in a matter of a half an hour.. The whole process through Choice Home Warranty was easy to deal with. One phone call I had somebody out within 24 hours.

Service was good. The issue that I had was resolved. Appointment could have been made earlier than waiting for a week or so. My claim was quickly approved for replacement of fan and that was installed quickly as well, only the initial appointment took some time.

We were charged two deductibles for the same repair because the first repair didn’t correct the problem. The second repair person was wonderful and since the parts to repair are not even made anymore called the company and agreed we should not have been charged due to the fact that the first diagnosis was bad. Now the company gives us excuses. Different every time we call. First we called and didn’t email then we were 30 days after the repair. Then when we showed the repair date it was that we were 30 days from the first request for repair. But it took over three weeks from the call to get someone to come then order the parts and come back to install! Very unhappy with the attitude of the company.

My dishwasher was not working, so I called Choice Warranty and a repairman came to the house did a dynastic examination and quoted a price. Choice Warranty said the dishwasher was too old to repair and gave a dollar amount to be applied toward the purchase of a new dishwasher. Visted: Lowe's, Home Depot and Menard's and no dishwashers in black in any brand available. I decided to order the part and repaired the dishwasher myself. Called Choice and asked that the check be sent to me, since I had repaired the dishwasher. The response from Choice Warranty: "Since the dishwasher is NO LONGER BROKE", I was not entitled to be reimbursed.

Technician arrived during the scheduled time frame and efficient. I would appreciate if scheduling could give a better estimated arrival time. This is my first experience with a home warranty. I had 2 issues: garbage disposal & dishwasher not draining. 2 technicians were dispatched causing me 2 co-pays. I had additional plumbing issues which resulted in a mess while the plumber was there, and it was easier to just pay the plumber to finish than add a new claim and wait for a new plumber, especially since I was on a very tight time frame.

Aaron quoted me a price from the email I received. I asked him about a previous email I received with lower price. He was able to honor that. Then he said he could give me an even lower yearly price and lower on call fee for 3 yrs with 6 mos free! How could I pass it up?

This company will promise you everything to get you in, but as soon you submit any claim they will find hundreds of reasons to decline your coverage. My policy get in effect on April 3rd and next day my cloth dryer got broken. Technician found that belt need to be replaced. CHOICE decline coverage because of preexisting condition. It is absolutely clear that belt token on April 4th.

The work done has only slightly improved the operation of the dryer. Also, the techs left somewhat of a mess and didn't tell us. I discovered it afterwards. It still takes too long for clothes to dry. Perhaps the dryer needs to be replaced.

CHW Denied claim for half reimbursement for Freon replacement citing (not under normal wear). A/C unit over 15 years old. Out of pocket expense of $300.00 incurred. Leaks are leaks regardless of reason or season. Several occasions had to schedule, pay, and be reimbursed by CHW.

This is the second time I've been scheduled with a service tech who didn't show up for our scheduled time window or didn't call on two separate claims. The first tech ended up showing several hours later that evening after the appointment window, with legitimate reason why, also had a ride waiting for him, didn't do any work, told me what I can do and go buy things. I was disappointed, and upset I had to pay him, and he still never showed up to finish the job. I had to cancel after a month passed.

Serviceman came next day after I called C.H.W about my problem. He was polite and knowledgeable with reference to the problem. He checked all the wiring going into the furnace and back to the thermostat. The problem was the thermostat was no good and he replaced it with chw's approvable.

This has been one of the worse and longest 3 months of trying to get help from my home warranty. I have finally went out and bought a new stove/oven without any help from CHW. This space isn't long enough to tell you how bad your warranty is. If not the warrant then it is the help that could care less. I am a Realtor and have sold home warranties since they first came out. This stove was on my own property so I do know how this is supposed to work. I am now told I have to wait 30 days to get a check, I do not want a gift certificate from Lowe's, or would like my entire renewal money back in the form of $450. That will help with what I had to pay for a new stove. I intend to share my experience with my fellow Realtors in the state of Arizona.

The technician was able to come out to fix our refrigerator sooner than scheduled. We were really thankful because I recently had back surgery so not having a fridge meant we had no food in the house & I can’t go out to eat. Thanks so much to the lady that scheduled the appt & the technician. She even followed up with us the next day to make sure it was working.

On 3/27/22, I submitted a claim to Choice Home Warranty to have my HVAC repaired. My heat wasn't working. On 3/28, Poole's Appliance Repairs was awarded the job. On 3/30, the technician arrived and told me that he identified the issue and would order the part for the repair. I paid the $85.00 service repair fee directly to the technician.
On 4/7, the technician went under my house and started working on repairing my unit. But, he failed to disconnect the power supply prior to the repair--so during install it created an electrical surge through my house. The technician then reported that my thermostat was fried and no longer working when it was fully operational prior to the repair. Technician left without repairing thermostat and HVAC unit. Choice Home Warranty says technician is negligent therefore they are not responsible for repairing my thermostat or additional repairs that may be needed to fix my unit.

Placed claim on website. Within an hour had received a text stating Sears would be out in a week. Would have liked an earlier date but understand shortest in workers. Repairman came had to order 3 parts and setup the next repair date. With the regular refrigerator warranty and Choice payment everything was covered. The only cost to me was the service fee. Very happy to have Choice.

I was surprisingly disappointed with the customer service response to my claim -- I was told by 2 reps they don't respond to emergencies. Oh well. My garage door was stuck in the up position. They kept sending me new vendors to my response and the date for service kept getting pushed out later.

Throughout my experience with multiple claims on multiple properties under Choice Home Warranties I have come to the conclusion that this is just one big rip-off of the consumer. The contracts are written such that virtually anything that can and does go wrong with appliances and systems is exempted under the warranty, and on the rare occasion that a claim is honored, the payout is a fraction of what a repair or replacement part costs and does not include installation. Claim managers inevitably cite that they can get the part cheaper than what the consumer can, but, they don't provide the parts and don't make their supposed wholesale buying power available to the customer. The items priced out are also not true replacements, but, cheap junk that usually lacks the performance and features of the original item.
Due to the minimal charge their technicians are allowed to charge for service and significant delays in getting approval from the company for tests that need to be performed or repairs to be made, it is hard for the company to get qualified technicians to accept service orders. It is not unusual for a customer to have to wait weeks or longer for an appointment to even be set up! In summary, Choice Home Warranties are a rip off of the consumer and a pain in the butt for the service personnel. You suck at every aspect of what is supposed to be a service organization.

Called on 4/8 to enroll a second home for coverage. I only wanted a one year plan. After turning down multiyear plans several times, I was enrolled in a one year plan. When I received the email confirmation the street address and the city on my plan were both wrong. It called back and was transferred to a person who told me to leave a message and no one called me back. I called back a second time and provided the corrected info and was told I would receive a new corrected plan in an email which I never received. My plan in number **. The correct address should be ** Ponte Vedra Beach FL 32082.

Please pull the tape and listen to it. The salesman did not listen to me. He did not have permission to charge my card $549 and I want it refunded right now or I will file a complaint with my bank. The salesman did not listen to us, he wouldn't stop trying to oversell me. I kept saying just the year and he kept talking so I told him over and over, "We do not want your company and we want to shop around" and he kept talking.
He knew. I said, "No and we are going to shop around." A few hours later the $549 out anyway. I old him over and over and he wouldn't stop pushing. He pushed too much as we said "No, we were going to shop around." +++ Please listen to the tape. We hung up because he wouldn't listen to us. Because of him, we had decided to go with another company. He knew at the mid to end of call we were going to shop around and he still took my money. I need it back now.

The tech actually came out earlier than scheduled, after calling to ask if he could. Very courteous. Thorough. Besides fixing the issue, he cleaned the filters without being asked. Checked the complete air conditioning system and ensured I was happy with the results. I would recommend Mighty Oak Air.

We noticed our air conditioning unit was not putting out enough air in one room. I went on to the website and was quickly able to make a claim. Within 24 hours a technician was calling to schedule an appt. The technician was out a few days later and fixed the problem. I only had to pay the trip charge of $85 as expected. I am so glad I have this warranty plan on our home.

When we called Choice Warranty we received same day service. The gentleman was very prompt and nice. He reset the hot water heater first but needed to return the next day to replace a part. If needed I would request him again.

Our induction stove with convection oven failed. Replacement cost is somewhere in the range of $3100, yet your company is paying us less than $600, which isn't enough to buy the cheapest range we can rind, with none of the features our old one had. Read the fine print carefully, if you have an appliance failure, you get virtually nothing. Not going to renew the warranty, there are much better ones out there.

The technician Jared came and listened to the problem. He then ran some tests, and diagnosed the issue. He ordered the part needed and made an appointment to return to fix stove after part gets delivered. He is professional and personal.

I filed a claim because my toilet won’t stop running water. First issue is Choice picks a service provider and makes an appointment without checking my (the clients) availability. Second the plumber did not fix the problem and I paid him! Do I have to pay a second time to get the job done right?

The tech who fixed the GE fridge was fast and quieted the noisy fridge that needed a new fan motor. The copay was $85, but it went up from $65. Also, the monthly increased somewhat from $45 to over $50. I did not realize to make this site work you had to have computer science. I saw the lady who graduated from Rutgers on LinkedIn. But compared to Select, you guys ask the manufacturer first. I had a plumbing issue with the bathtub, but that one is very difficult, since the condo was built in 1964.

Technician tested toilet plumbing system and established pipeline needs to be treated with high pressure water. Choice Warranty refused to pay for the hydrojet service, which leaves to be on my own to figure out how to pay for the repair bill. What is the point of having home warranty which refuses to pay for the repair work recommended by your own technician. I still have problem of toilet backing up.

The ceiling light in the living room seemed to be emitting an electrical smell as if there was a short. The technician scoped out the problem which turned out to be a transformer slightly unplugged from my power reclining chair.. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED with the decision on the part of CHW to not cover all repairs needed to be done to correct our 'plumbing issues'. According to the repair person, after his conversation with a Choice Rep, he was told that of the items that needed to be repaired, to resolve our issue, that CHW agreed to pay the lessor of the two, which left us with a $300 out of pocket expense. So, this whole plumbing inquiry cost us $385, which we were not happy about AT ALL. I would think that after we had paid our monthly service fee and the visit fee of $85, that CHW should have covered the larger of the two amounts and not the lessor, that is, if the customer was going to be asked to pay for any portion of the repairs. After all of these years, we're not at all happy and it may be time to start shopping for a more reasonable service, one which appreciates us as a customer. As for my rating of 1 star, I would give you a half of a star if I could.

This was the first time using Choice and was very disappointed in what they were willing to cover. The tech who came and looked at it was great, but Choice basically totaled this less than two year old LG dishwasher, They offered to pay a mere $246 for a machine that costs a thousand to replace. I appealed and they upped the number, but it only covers 60% of the cost to replace it with the same or equivalent dishwasher! Guess I’ll have to buy the extended warranty on any appliance Choice claims they will cover! Very frustrating!

When she finally got here, she wonderful. She said that we have clog one between our house and septic. We have not been able to flush for at least a week. She said that it should be covered by Choice Warranty. We are still waiting for an reply from the next in line. We were originally turned down for this repair. I called about my thermostat because it was not recording true temp. Aircon appeared to be working. I was told this part was part of my system and would be covered and the tech said he would file a claim.. The EMS home services on 3-26-22 determined THERMOSTAT failed and needed new one. Pictures taken for order to be placed. Now claim denied by letter that thank me for choosing Choice to protect me from unexpected repairs. HOW IRONIC. Was told by friend this the way Choice operates, didn't believe. I have paid $1,400 premiums for nothing plus $85 for Ems visit. Thank you Senior citizens group & George Foreman.

Very disappointed about how the case was resolved. Our dishwasher is broken and no longer works. The insurance company said because mineral build up was the cause they would not assist us. In my opinion mineral build up falls under normal wear and tear which they do cover! That being said the insurance company doesn’t actually try to help their paying customer and will do anything to get out of serving you. We will have to buy a new dishwasher out of our own money, despite having insurance that covers it. Very sad in my opinion. On another note the technician that came over was very helpful and kind. He was from Professional Appliance in Louisville, Ky.

Choice Warranty could not find a plumber, so I called one and he was able to come that same day. He carefully looked at the set up and said it was working correctly and didn't need to be replaced. It has rained 12 days in a row, so that was the reason it was running constantly. I gave him a check for $130 for the service, which was worth it because it calmed my worry about the basement possibly flooding.

My technician that came to look at the heat pump unit and its issue was excellent. He realized the problem and was able to determine how to fix it. My claim was denied...Possibly because the date of manufacturing of heater pump was not entered correctly by technician....which is typed on the manufacturer's label on the unit. I am frustrated that Choice did not contact me personally since this is the second issue with this heat pump and they have the original manufacturer's info and never questioned what was submitted this time. The heat pump is over 4.5 years and the parts are "not covered," under the manufacturer. This was a very disappointing process with Choice.

They make determinations and deny claims without having all the facts. Even the service provider that came to the house was amazed at the denial. Most recently they told me my Moen cartridge is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. It is not. It is more than 5 years old, I am not the original purchaser and I do not have the receipt. These 3 things are necessary to be covered by Moen. I guess it’s just easier to say no and hope I will go away. DO NOT PURCHASE A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I filed this claim with CHW on 3/27/22, as I had been without hot water for more than a day. Restarting the water heater had no effect. My age will be 80 this coming July which makes time very meaningful to me. My children came from California to help me as my wife had passed the previous week, but in regard to getting hot water, it was to no avail, subsequently filing a claim to have the hot water tank fixed. I also had a gas leak in which I shut off the gas and called Southwest gas.
I had a SWG technician out that same day and he confirmed the leak at both the water heater and furnace. He was able to handle the furnace but not the water heater. He reinforced the notion that I needed a repairman on the water heater, because it was over 11 years old and looked in a very bad state. I repeated the call for help to CHW that same day. I did not get a repairman sent from CHW until 3/30 and their input was Omega Heating and Plumbing. Their repairman confirmed what the SWG repairman had said about the water heater and said he felt because of the age of the water heater he did not think it would be wise to band aid the heater as there could be more problems when he started. However, he started to check for the repair parts from Lowe's where I had bought the water heater. Lowe's no longer carried the brand I had, much less any parts for it.
On 3/31 CHW responded with their needing additional questions answered. On 3/31 CHW responded that the claim was "Under Review." In the meantime, Omega had responded that they had sent CHW the information. Again, CHW responded that they needed more information on 4/1. My son contacted CHW on 4/2 to get a status and was told CHW was waiting for pricing from Omega. (Now how can pricing be given when the parts cannot even be found?) On 4/3 my daughter talked to CHW's representative as to what was going on. Again, CHW responded that they were waiting for pricing from Omega. We called Omega and they said they had sent the information twice and that they will do it again.
Omega had also said that should they somehow find the parts, there could still be another delay with the terrible (my words) communication between CHW and Omega. With all the delays and the lack of effective communication, I asked Omega to install a new water heater on 4/3. They did as I instructed. On 4/4 CHW responded that the issue was resolved but because it was done without prior authorization, there would be no money given to this claim. In other conversations that my children and I had with CHW, we were told at various times and from different people that the warranty would either in one conversation be partially paid, or a payment down to $250. That last offer was unacceptable.
I have seen the Facebook Group on problems with CHW and was dismayed that I had not seen all the similar cases of this issue affecting so many people before signing up with CHW in 2018. I wish that Choice Home Warranty would reimburse my son the $2300 he provided to get me the new water heater. I hope CHW will reconsider this matter. As far as I am concerned, CHW has acted in an unethical manner with their delays and lack of taking any positive action regarding the claim. It was between their representative at CHW and Omega where the system failed. I should not be held liable for their failure.

The staff at Choice Warranty are wonderful. One of the policies I have an issue with scheduling appointments without ensuring that dates and times are appropriate for the customer. Requiring more than one visit for the same issue. You should not have to pay twice for the same issue within 90 days of service with the same exact problem because the part is defective.

I called Choice Home Warranty and signed up for service. After I hung up, I read many of the reviews on this site and BBB. After reading a lot of unhappy customers, I decided to immediately cancel. This is when the ** started to fly. I spoke to the same salesperson who I originally spoke with. He notified me that they have the best ratings on other sites along with having the former AIG president as their CEO and over 5 million customers. I notified him that after reading all the bad reviews, I notified him that I didn't want to deal with garbage and possibly denied claims. He kept pushing the hard sale but I notified him to quit it and cancel the policy. He places me on hold and notifies me the cancelation department was closed. He told me to call back tomorrow.
I hung up and called back to speak to the cancellation department. Guess what? The department was opened. At this point, I was fuming because I don't like being lied to. The cancellation department rep was trying to keep me but notified him that even if I got 10 years of service for free with free service calls, I wouldn't keep the service. After canceling the service, I called to speak to the sales person to call him out on the ** but got his VM. I then hung up and asked to speak to the salesman's supervisor and notified him that he needs to listen to the call. I notified him that being lied to is extremely bad business practice. Overall, I wouldn't do business with this company because out of the gate, it was **. I can only imagine having an issue and only being fed lies or garbage. STAY AWAY!!!

We are still in the process of trying to get this taken care of. When the technician sent in his report whoever read it miss read it as a bathtub instead of a dishwasher. They sent me an email and said that bathtubs are not covered. I am supposed to be getting information from someone else so that I can explain the situation but as of yet have not heard back from anyone. Working with this business was awful. A majority of the people sent to repair things did not do it correctly and/or did not arrive when they said they would. We spent months in freezing temperatures waiting for our heating to be fixed due to miscommunication within the company and problems with the repair people. Finally--after we stopped our contract--I am receiving daily calls from solicitors asking for us to return. I rarely write reviews, but really wish someone had told me this before dealing with this business. I highly recommend considering another home warranty company.

You need to get technicians that are closer not from the other side of the state. He was good and did a good job however we have to have our electrician to finish the install. He could not get it to work.

The technician was excellent. By you refusing to repair the unit, I would never recommend your company to anyone. You claim the breakdown was not normal wear. Well I certainly didn't go into the unit and break it. I'm very disappointed.

The website is extremely user-unfriendly. It is impossible to speak with a human, and the robot does not respond to specific items. Hours of operation, times when it is possible to speak with an actual human, should be included in the automatic answer when a patron calls. This would allow the policyholder to call back at a time when it is possible to state concerns.

The claim was to verify that the A/C unit's compressor was not working (found during spring checkup). The CHW Technician told me that the unit was working and that it should be checked again once the temperature rises to >80 degrees.

Woke up to a broken hot water heater at 6:00 a.m. in the morning. By 11:00 a.m. they had a plumber here checking it out. Need new hot water heater approved within 2 hours. Now it's less than 24 hours away and still haven't got noticed that the new one is on its way. I'd say it's a pretty fair time change and they did well. Let's see if they install it fast.

I have had Choice Home Warranty for about a year and a half. Prior to the most recent claim, I had only had to file one for my AC which was fixed within a few days. This time my oven broke. It took a month for them to get the initial tech out and while that tech was out he said it will be at least $550 for parts and that 1 part was unavailable. After a week of waiting I contact them again asking if they've located my part and they said no that they would replaced my electric glass top range and they'd give me $330 for it. Like WHAT?? You can't buy any range like this for that measly amount of money. They negotiated up to $450 in Lowe's e-gift cards. Mind you the very bottom of the line range Lowe's offers is $700 and that model no way compares to my broken one. I finally agreed because I need something to cook on and that was 8 days ago and I still haven't received my Lowe's e-gift cards.
I have contacted them multiple times and they keep telling me it could take up to 30 days for the checks to come out. The last thing I asked 2 days ago was why a check now?? I was told I was getting Lowe's e-gift cards.....so I sit here 6 weeks later with only the microwave and small toaster oven to cook with. So if you're okay with a broken appliance for 2 months only to have to pay for over half your replacement costs yourself, this company will work fine for you.

The plumber arrived on time. We discussed the problem on hand which was the faucet wasn’t provided a study floor water nor was it providing hot water. He assessed what was going on. Give me some potential solutions they were about to fix the problem. The gentleman was very professional and well spoken and made sure I understood what was going to do before he did it. The bottom line was he fix the problem and I was very happy. I highly recommend this company to anyone to resolve your plumbing issues. No one in full confidence that this company is going to solve your problems and you will not regret having a professional do the work.

My washer broke down Feb.18, it took until April 7, to get them a resolution to the claim. Also, the amount that I will be given is not going to cover a comparable replacement. Not happy at all. Oh yeah, it may take up to another 30 days to receive the check. Not to mention the $35.00 a week it cost to wash my families’ clothes at the laundry mat. So, if you can’t tell, I am not happy.

Thomas arrived and was professional, knowledgeable, as well as friendly. The door was repaired. We are very satisfied. This was our first claim and we're impressed with Choice Warranty.

I spoke with two reps in regards to my issues, the first was very short with his answers and didn't give any additional options or reasonings as to why he was not able to assist me with my claim. It was almost as pulling information from him, like teeth. I grew so frustrated that I had to tell him that his job in customer service is to attempt to make the job of the caller more effortless, the opposite of what he was doing. I had written down George as his name, but, it may have been Jordan, there was a ton of air on his end and it made it hard to hear him. The line also disconnected and he did not call me back.
I got Joanna when I called back in. She was straightforward but also gave at least a hint of why she was doing what she was doing and why she was asking the questions she was asking. She was quick, helpful, honest, and friendly. Comparing the frustrations I had on the first call to the near calm I felt on the second is like comparing night and day. This is my first experience using a home warranty, as a homeowner, I do hope the experience continues to go up from here.

I have not been able to speak with or even set a contact time with my case manager for my complaint. I’ve emailed and called multiple times, but no response. We are at this point because after lodging my complaint, it was rejected within 10 minutes. I disputed the results, and here we are.

We became customers in 2016. We had a six year contract, but at time of renewal, we could not afford to renew that long because we are now retired. Warren spent time figuring out a plan we could afford. He gave us several options to choose from. We finalized the deal April 6th. On April 7th, we got an email to include another coverage. I called Warren and he advised me that we do not need that additional coverage. How refreshing!! His honesty has made us very happy customers! Kudos to him!

Our microwave stopped functioning. We used the cumbersome system to get a repair person to look at the appliance. He was very nice and professional. He could not fix the appliance since he had to ask the main office what they wanted to do, repair or replace. The main office offered a $191 Lowell's credit that would take 5-7 weeks to receive. This amount does not even cover the installation of the new microwave. Very disappointed. This is a scam.

I contacted them about a leak, they sent someone out who said that they weren't qualified, so they sent someone else out the next day, so now I have two $65 service charges and a $6400 bill that they don't pay!

My family and myself were very satisfied with the Technician, but our dealing with CHW was like pulling teeth. Not until I got to communicate with Manager Misty ** that things started moving in the right direction. We had to wait for three {3} weeks without hot water in the winter. We added sewer pumping to our contract by paying an added fee, we placed an order for that service since Monday February 28, to date we have not received the service yet, though we paid in advance for the whole year. What do you recommend?

Called for service for my Heat Pump Which was not working. First sent appt time of 3pm to 8pm. Unacceptable 5 hr window and how can diagnosis be done outside in dark?? Attempted to call Tech to change. Unable to connect due to his personal issues during phone call. Requested another company. Same issue. Sent preset appt time 3pm to 8pm. Again called tech scheduling appt for 11 am. He checked Thermostat, flipped breaker inside 4 unit, not at breaker panel. Then checked drain plug stuck back in drain pipe. After those done maybe 15 min. attempted to turn on unit and it came on. Could have been the breaker that flipped because I had just changed the filter and touched a part of cover that shocked me.
Tech. told me I needed to replace that drain pipe Trap cover which may be considered a maintenance issue. If that was the case it wouldn't be working now and would not wouldn't have reset itself. He did No repair other than a Diagnosis but flip the breaker inside unit! I paid my Service fee at that visit. I pd Choice Warranty up front for service thru 2023. They have my money but are now looking for loopholes not to pay my claim. Very disappointed and have recommended them to many friends and family, will be letting others know of their business practices and will be requesting my money for policy returned..

I called in claim on Saturday afternoon and a service call was made Monday evening. On Tuesday I had a response from Choice warranty offering a Lowe's gift card in lieu of replacement. My washer was 7 years old so I opted for gift card and replaced my washer. Very quick response. I am happy with the service.

It seems that every time I have a problem that it is not covered by my warranty. I have become very disgruntled. The service guy did not turn in two of my problems to be evaluated, new contactors and drain switches. Why was that?

I have been a loyal member to this company for 5 years and have always paid on time. Two years ago I had to replace my refrigerator and was given some push back when it was time to replace it. They insisted on giving us only 25% of what a new one of the exact same model would cost. After constant back and forth we got them to issue about 60% of it and we settled there.
A month ago our microwave went out and they said it need to be replaced. We were told it would take two weeks to have a 15 minute conversation about discussing an offer. After we did finally hear from the company, once again they issued only 25% of what the microwave would be worth of the same model. I could understand if we were trying to get an upgraded model, but it was the same microwave. After discussing this with our agent, they said a comparable microwave they found was located across the country. After going back and forth, they wouldn’t budge and gave us only 25% towards a microwave of the exact same model of the one that was to be replaced. After two occasions of being given the back and forth with them and not being fair, I have decided to take my money elsewhere to a company that will value my loyalty and stand by what they promote.

My front load washer was deemed too expensive to repair so I was told that Choice would replace it instead but the replacement amount I was offered is insulting. It isn't even enough to purchase a low end top load washer! I need a front-load to replace my front load! Plus I don't have the square footage for a top load even if I was ok with it. I am very disappointed in my experience. If this is not resolved I definitely will not be renewing with Choice and will not recommend Choice to anyone.

We called choice regarding our old KitchenAid refrigerator. choice responded to our call, and sent a serviceman to come out and look at it. After deciding with his company manager that the parts needed to repair the motherboard were not available, the recommendation was made to replace the refrigerator. Choice sent an email with a proposal of payment to acquire a new one.
We went to several appliance stores, including Home Depot and lowes in our area to compare prices and find a suitable model for our space. In the meantime Choice scheduled a phone call three weeks from the date the repairman had been in our home. We Got a new replacement. It cost us $1800.+ more than Choices offer for a fridge comparable to what we had in features and capacity. Their phone call was standard script… The young lady was nice but would not budge off her script… Choice has a schedule for what they will provide it is based on what they can get the appliances for and work with Lowes to replace your appliances at the rate it would cost them... Needless to say… this is the second time their service was slow and untrue to their misleading ads etc. We will not renew our policy when it is up.

You said my problem isn’t covered. The leak is in the inside wall. I called a plumber and he said the wall has to be opened up to access the broken pipe. I don’t understand the why of your denial of this claim.

When my technician arrived he was very polite. He introduced himself, and had his mask on. He ask me questions about my garbage disposal and then went straight to work. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing because he asked if my garbage disposal had leaked in the passed. I had forgotten all about that. That is when he said, I needed a new disposal because mine was passed repair. He had that old one out and new one in, in no time. What a smart young man and what a credit to his company.

We purchased a beautiful home but older so things started going south right away. I believe Choice Home Warranty is good but with newer models of equipment. We had to pay a substantial amount for certain items to be replaced. Also I need to say that while Contractor's picked up the jobs it could take a couple of weeks before service was able to be completed. I.E. parts to be ordered and scheduling time. With a large family that’s not always to our best interest. So keep this in mind when you are purchasing their home warranty.

Working with Albert was way and smooth. He took the time to answer my question, explain the options and share promotions available. Unfortunately, the experience up to that point was less than desirable. Within about 1 hour of submitting an online quote, I received 4 emails and 3 different phone calls from 2 different representatives. On day 2, I received another 2 phone calls and an email from a 3rd different associate. This was rather frustrating and disappointing as the online quotes don't accurately represent your cost but rather act as a sales lead for your reps.

The technicians from "Doctor Circuits" were very professional. They arrived promptly at around 11:30. This was well within the interval of time that was given for me to expect them (between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm). They came in and assessed the situation and began repairs. CHW will do everything and anything to avoid paying a large claim. They will use the contract against the consumer, finding some reason to deny payment. This is the second time CHW has done this to me, both times involving an HVAC repair.

Tech was friendly and professional. I thought I needed to replace the opener but it was only an issue with the eyebeam problem. They only charged me the minimum charge. My opener is 16 years old and I will get Reliable Garage door to replace it at a later date.

The person who was sent to repair our ceiling fan was on time and friendly. The lights in a ceiling fan quit working. New lightbulbs did not help. So, he fixed the ceiling fan so the lights would work. Now I have light in my office area!
