Choice allowed me to choose my preference for a company to repair my pool leak. I did not want a pool man but a leak repair expert. Choice allowed me to do this for which I am grateful. I think I will keep my warranty plan forever.

KC from KCAppliance was fantastic. He was personal and knowledgeable, explaining to my husband what the problem was. I even asked him if he did yearly maintenance (for my mom’s AC), which he doesn’t. We would have been willing to pay out of pocket—he was that good! Keep him! He is an asset to Choice!

Would recommend the technician from No Heat that came. He knew what the issue was right away and how to have it resolved. He thoroughly explained things to us in terms in a way that we would understand. Very nice. Called ahead of time to confirm appointment and showed up in a timely manner.

Technician called and stated 15 mins away, arrived on time. He diagnosed the issue, took the appropriate corrective action. He also looked at the cold air return filter, made a suggestion. Collected his fee, and left. Tech was clean, courteous and knowledgeable. **As for the CHW itself, they need to get their act together in regards to purging data, so as to NOT assign a company that no longer works with them. The 48 hour rule is not hard and fast, and when you try to get to a decision maker you are promised a call back in 24 hours... another day wasted... then they are offering to reimburse you, if you pay out of pocket and will take 30 days... So what am I paying for.**

Jef called to tell me he was the one to come to fix my problem. He was on time, polite, fixed the problem right away. Garbage disposal would not turn on. Now it works fine. Jef told me the problem so I would know if it froze up again what to do. He was honest.

The plumber was very nice and professional. The work order did not include all of the problem but he quickly got on his phone and described (better than I did) the exact problem which was quickly approved. I got a phone call from a Choice Home Warranty representative for approval from me. Problem solved!

Technician came the day after I called Choice Warranty to fix the problem. It was a lightning speed. Impressive. This was the first time I have used my insurance with Choice Warranty and I have no idea how this warranty works. Indeed, it exceeds my expectations.

My a/c was not repaired because they said that they were not told it was a wall unit. They only repair central units and I had to pay $65 for a service call. I was never asked what type of unit it was. It’s bad enough that they were not able to work on it but I paid $65 for nothing.

Air condition went out on the HOTTEST day and it was a Sunday. I received an email stating the appointment was scheduled on Monday at 11:00 am. I was able to contact the Heat and Air condition company and the technician told me he would be there at the residence that evening. He kept his promise and fixed the air condition. Thank God for that technician. He was GREAT!

Realtor for 30 years with the state of Georgia. Having personal policy for 4 years. Followed senior sales rep from competitor prior company. Negligence in examining hvac issue before immediately responding “denied”. “Caveat emptor”. Out of pocket $500 to get multiple bids to satisfy CHW. CHW Only interested in “cash out” program instead of replacement as ads depict. $2000 will not replace air conditioner. I have been a valued client for years and as a realtor have sold many, many of your home warranties to my clients. I am cutting ties with CHW unless my HVAC is replaced as YOUR technician said. I first reported in late June. Two issues not resolved until last week. First issue on appeal was unsatisfactorily denied. Second issue on double built-in oven was offered a low-ball amount, which upon appeal was stated as considered at what Choice considered a reasonable cost according to Section E2 in the contract — even though there are no comparable ovens available at twice the Choice offer. Now I have to wait “up to 30 days” to get the Choice check. I have never been so disappointed with an insurance before.

Technician was very friendly, pretty quick, communicated well, on time, and thorough. She knew a lot of things about appliances and offered additional services. I liked how I could pay via a text and a detailed email was sent right away. Thank you!

Bad motherboard. Had to find my own service repair man. Going on three days and still no refrigerator. Threw about $300.00 of food away. Still no results! Never got connected by Choice Home Warranty. I had to call after them.

I've had several other warranties in the past and nothing can compare to Choice. I love it. They allow me to pay my monthly fee off in three months. Plus, they kept my fee at the same price for a number of years which is affordable to me. Whenever I'd make a claim, they send somebody out right away and every company they've ever sent has been fabulous. I've had all kinds of things covered including my air conditioning and my garbage disposal.I also had a flood in the house and they covered that. They also put a new motor in my oven.

I like my copay, because the other places are much higher than Choice Home Warranty's. I just put in a claim for my refrigerator. The icemaker wasn’t making the water go properly. The tech is supposed to come back Monday. But so far, it has been good. Everything’s has been fair.

Choice did a good job getting someone out! When I purchased policy I asked salesman to sell me policy with no out of pocket! There was a service fee when I was told there wouldn’t be one! Other than that Choice did a good job! Had I been told up front I would’ve given choice a five star rating!

Only downside is that it took almost 10 days to get a repair person to the house. Once the repair person was at the house everything went quickly and smoothly. The repairs/replacement were completed within 3 days.

The plumbing company and Technician were great! I was just surprised about the value that Choice Warranty puts on items that need to be replaced. When I purchased the warranty the sales person over the phone told me that they would place an item with the current value but I don’t agree that Choice does that. I was also told by Adam the sales person that on an HVAC system that Choice would replace the system at a 100% if they couldn’t fix it and when I questioned that, he said yes a 100% but when I got the contract it states 3,000 that Choice would pay out the most. I felt that I was given incorrect information on how this warranty works but I thought this situation was handled well and I am pleased. We will see how the next situation is handled. Thank you!

Tech was great. Explained reason maintenance failed. We clean the system but a clog still happened. He removed the clog in the pipe. He had to to shoot nitrogen to clear the clog out of the pipe. Great Job. Would recommend them.

11 days without hot water. Not acceptable, balance due $595.00 not acceptable. I am so dissatisfied with Choice Home Warranty. I am beyond words of disappointment!!! I also believe the estimate from plumber was absolutely ridiculous… The process for the plumber approval seems utterly ridiculous.

It took more than three months for my claim to be taken seriously. Had it not been for the follow through of my Account Manager, Rob **, I would have taken CHW to arbitration. Rob contacted Jennifer **, who took care of the situation in a matter of days. Without the assistance of those two individuals, we would be having a different conversation.

You did not send a tech to my home. You could not find one; I am the one who found a tech after someone from your company finally called me and said if I could find a tech I would have to pay him and you would reimburse me. It took you a month to send me a check. I wonder if I am going to have to find techs every time I have a problem. I now wish I had not bought a 3 year plan.

Well, it worked as you stated. I did have to choose my own technician as you were unable to locate one, which works for me. This was my first time using this process so I was not clear on how it works, though i have received an email that the reimbursement check is on the way. I was a little cumbersome coordinating everything I had to fill out with the technician and getting approval. But it all worked out in the end. Well as soon as the check arrives.

Used the Choice website for requesting service. Very user friendly. Got quick response from choice and then from a technician. Very happy with the response time from choice. I called technician to confirm appointment. I have used choice before and they have been easy to work with.

I submitted a claim appointment through the online portal and that process was easy. However, my problem was one of urgency and high importance due to the A/C not working and it being over 100 degrees all week. I submitted on a Thursday morning and then called around 12pm to check how long it would take to get an appointment. They told me to wait a minimum of 24hrs until someone replied to it and then it could be longer for the appointment based on availability. The appointment wasn't made until Monday morning (4 days after). I asked if I could call around and make an appointment on my own sooner and be able to submit it through the Warranty claim, but they said no which I thought was poor customer service due to the urgency of the situation. I ended up fixing the issue on my own.

I signed up March 2022. My contract was $48 a month and $65 for a repair visit but I was charged $85. I'm not able to get a live person on the phone to discuss this. The service contractor from Quality Ambient, LLC was excellent and was able to fix my air conditioner.

This is the 4th time, (that I can recall) Choice has sent a technician. I spoke with 2 case managers within the last month and I have been very disappointed with the service I have received. From choice denying payment of freon upon technician's assessment, to them approving a week after I had already paid for the insertion of the freon myself and the same case manager telling me that if the unit were lacking 15% or more of freon then they would pay for a leak check and that she would check with technician but did not get back with me; to a different case manager telling me that approval of a new unit had been decided and is needed, however a leak check is not needed.
Btw, the last technician came yesterday and said the unit had TOO MUCH freon by 2 lbs which coincidentally is the exact same amount the previous technician put in. For some reason Choice is either sending incompetent technicians or they have surmised that I do not know anything about HVAC systems. With all of these service visits, no one has been able to determine without equivocation, what the actual problem is. The same unit has had "pressure" issues according to 3 different technicians but no one has done due diligence to ascertain the problem and then 'recheck' the pressure after they have supposedly fixed the problem and this is all very frustrating.

This is the biggest mistake that I have made in home ownership. I have had nothing but aggravation with this company. Choice vendors not calling back, vendors not reporting accurately about my repairs, Choice not living up to replacement of unrepairable appliances and giving less value than new appliance. I would not recommend this company and any other one with the same practices of stating one thing when they want your business and another when it comes to pay up for the claim.

Appointment scheduled for August 1st, the repairman was prompt and allegedly fixed the problem. Washed one small load of clothes and washer did not agitate so I placed another claim as there was no other way to contact Choice Warranty. Another repairman came out on August 8th and after much code research stated that the transmission and motor were gone and that they would either repair or replace the washer. It is now the 11th and I have not heard one thing from this company. I am calling them in a few minutes to hear their excuses.

Vendor came the next day and fixed my problem in 5 minutes. Chain was going past the unit but unsure what happened or why after 15 yrs it decided to act up. Tech. came and knew what to adjust to correct the problem. Very pleased.

Disappointed in first tech. He thought fridge was repaired but wasn't 2nd tech did the job. Time lapse was a problem. Part replaced should have been done first. Food was spoiled. Due to this delay had to buy a new refrigerator.

Scott ** was on time, very efficient, knew exactly what he was doing. Unlike the first person assigned assigned, Apricot Handyman??? Apricot is NOT licensed in anything! He came before for AC - not HVAC trained. Did not know what he was doing. Then you assign him for my electrical problem? I do not want someone not licensed as Electrician fixing something that was spewing sparks? I give a Gold Medal to Scott ** - he was EXCEPTIONAL and I hope you will let him know!

Technician arrived early. I explained what was happening he immediately determined the thermostat wires on furnace had been scraped possibly by the door exposing the wires causing them to short system. Overall very thorough. Did an excellent job repairing my system.

We had a technician from a local company come out for a maintenance service. It was noted that the coolant level was low. I submitted the issue to Choice and received a prompt email with the name and time another technician would come by the next day. The technician arrived and diagnosed the problem and the problem was fixed that very day.

Upstairs air conditioner stopped cooling. Took 4 days before a technician came to address our situation. Complete replacement for the coil, condenser and outside heat was recommended and approved. Had to pay $893.75 for the condenser and a payment of at least $1930 for labor when work is done. At this time I don’t know how much it would have cost without the home warranty coverage but $2824 out of my pocket doesn’t seem to be a good deal. Guess I was expecting too much from Choice Home Warranty to cover the HVAC repair/replacement. Just paid $2396 for a 3 year plan and now another $2824 to replace my HVAC system. That doesn’t seem like a good deal I made thinking I was saving some money.

Need to teach your reps to slow down on the sales pitch. You have a great product so you don't need the "pushy sales script". Listen to your customer's questions, they will sign up. Even though I was upset at the phone calls and the pushy sales pitches, I signed up because of your product is more than a sales pitch.

In spite of the fact Choice Warranty didn’t cover said problem Service man did a fine job and at a reasonable price. Would possibly hire him to replace the door eventually. A small fact, the garage door was damaged before I purchased the house 8 years ago, usage for that period of time was the factor in the breakdown, If I couldn’t use the door it should have been covered.

Not enough space to really explain in details however your agents lie to customers and also off credits for issues at hands and never applies the free months of services and also call to cancel accounts and start new accounts without customer knowledge and when customer have issues with that need fix they have to hear, "Oh that account was cancel and we can’t honor this and that" all because of your deceiving agents. I’m piss very piss. I’m actually thinking about really walking completely away.

Bear in mind while reading this that I was WITHOUT WATER at my residence because of a water leak. I submitted on Wednesday of last week, had a tech assigned the next day to come see me Friday. The technician came by, checked out the problem, and then submitted the claim to choice. Choice then told him to leave and that they were assigning a different technician. Now bear in mind this repairman was ALREADY AT MY HOUSE, and it was Friday afternoon.
When I called I was told by a choice representative that the technician had canceled the service because it was outside of his service area. LIES. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was told one would be calling. I have yet to receive a call from a supervisor. I had no one assigned to me until the following Monday, so I spent the weekend without water for no good reason other than Choice is a pack of damn liars and spendthrifts. Oh, and the email I received Monday told me I wouldn't get serviced until THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. Luckily for me I got a call the following day that they had a cancellation but this is all beyond unacceptable and I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau.

Would not complete washing/rinsing/drying. I entered the claim on Sunday afternoon. Choice sent email on Monday with date and time of repair appointment. The repair person arrived on Tues, and after some tests, made the determination for repair.. He got approval from Choice Tues night, and called Wed to set appointment for repair. He arrived Wed AM and finished repair in about an hour, or so.

They don't honor their contract. They will deny anything that cost money. If you want a good home warranty go to American Home Shield, I am so glad I had not canceled my policy because if I had I would have been screwed because of Choice Warranty and their lies.

Won't cover my AC to get fixed due to obvious normal wear and tear. Scammed my mom out of $700 of cleaning and then left me with broken AC. I have to pay out of pocket for someone to come out to scam my mom and charge me for it and also not fix it. Then I get to pay again to have it fixed.

On 8/5 a tech was sent to address an AC issue. He left believing that everything was OK. When arriving home on 8/8 I found that the air wasn't working or at least I didn't think so. You sent the same tech back. He arrived within 45 min of the dispatch. He wasn't happy about coming back. Said he checked everything and it was only a loose wire. He said he came back to keep me happy. He explained that because it was so hot the system would run this way. While he was there it started cooking down. I don't know for sure if the loose wire was actually the only problem or not. He was determined that it was. If the issue continues (air set on 78 but rose to 87 before it would start to cool) I will be calling again and requesting a different company to come. Right now it is working but of course, it is only 10 am.

During the past 60 days, we have had back-to-back issues with our appliances. The oven went out in the rental property and within a week the AC went out. The issues with both appliances were completed with minimal out-of-pocket expense. We paid the service fees for both, and CHOICE took care of the rest. I would recommend CHOICE to all property owners.

The Pioneer Overhead Door Technician arrived during the specified time of our service. He was polite, friendly and listened to our problem. He did a thorough inspection and quickly discovered the cause of the intermittent working of the opener. He corrected the problem and was helpful in saving us an additional credit card charge.

The repairman called before coming to the house to give arrival time, came, evaluated problem and replaced disposal quickly with no mess. No problem. I was very happy with his professionalism and would highly recommend him to anyone who is having a plumbing problem.

It took three contractors before one was assigned that showed up, followed through, and accurately assessed and fixed my AC problem. All the appointments were set up without discussing with me if I could be there. On three of the appointments, the contractors failed to show up and either rescheduled or canceled. The first contractor after rescheduling came out, inaccurately assessed my problem, didn't submit it to Choice and then you fired them. The second contractor canceled their appointment and declined the job.
I called the third contractor ten minutes before the appointment time to see if they had a more precise time and discovered they had no record of being contacted by Choice to do my job. It took three weeks to actually get a contractor to my house and resolve my issue. So to sum up: Please contact me before setting appointment time to ensure we coordinate schedules. Make sure you verify the contractor knows you have assigned them the work before telling me you have assigned them. Make sure you have reliable and competent contractors.

They came out and diagnosed the problem with hot water heater in 1 minute. The technician ran to our local hardware store, picked up the part that I needed, and fixed it in a flash. Then he vacuumed up the remaining water in the drip tray and relit my pilot light. He was very professional! I would highly recommend them again!

We were very unhappy with the long wait that we were forced to do in the summer in Az. Feel that CHW didn't do all they could to find a technician that could come soon. However, the tech that did come to the house was thorough, courteous and got us our ac back sooner than he thought he could. He had a cancellation so came to house sooner than scheduled. Alex came out at 8:00 pm. He worked on unit for about 30 to 40 minutes and found the problem. He was cheerful, and very happy. He gave me the impression that he was happy to service my unit. Alex had already worked 14 hours or more and came in fresh and ready to work. If I have AC problems in the future, but hopefully not I want Raiders AC to do the job. Alex is a fabulous technician and knows his job. He also take pride in his work.

Tech Bright homes pros came with private and visualized my unit, clean the wiring and charged for $85. It did NOT solve the problem. Called, Leave message and no call back. Rescheduled Ricks Hvac and no call no show. I hired a private company with desperation with outside and inside tenp 95 degress I was charged. $1006.00 By YATES Hvac company.

I called Choice Home Warranty to report a non-working ice maker. The rep who took my information was very professional and helpful. She clearly explained the procedure. Edward with Sears Home Services came to repair the ice maker. I was very pleased with his service. The only problem was Sears gave him a telephone number that has been out of service for 20 years. Edward apologized for not being able to call before he arrived. A very good experience.

It took a day and a half for you to find a plumber. It took a week for the plumber to put me on their schedule. After reviewing the problem plumber advised that he had to call you to get permission to fix as he felt necessary. Several hours after he left I called his office to find out what was the disposition. They advised me that they were given permission to fix but couldn't put me back on the schedule for another week.. Over two weeks to fix a faucet leak is ridiculous.!! (I must add that the plumber (Technician?) who analyzed the problem was pleasant and seemed to be very competent and explained very well what needed to be done.)

My first experience with Choice is very bad. I have a leakage in the bathroom from the tub and was going down to my kitchen. I asked them they needed to send somebody to fix it. A plumber came in, looked at it, and said he had to order a part. He was not telling me what he was ordering or what he was doing. He was missing for three weeks. I kept trying to call and leaving messages but there was no answer. When I called Choice, they got ahold of him, and he said the part was backordered. Then he came in, spent a half hour, changed the part, and took my money. It was $65 that I was supposed to pay for downpayment. He said everything was fixed.
Next day morning, my son was taking a shower and it started leaking again. I tried to contact him but he wouldn't answer the phone. I left messages but still, nothing. I had to call one of my own plumber because it was ridiculous. We couldn't use the bathroom over three weeks long. My plumber came in and said there was a leak inside the wall, where the faucet is connected to the tub. The pipe needed to be replaced. He also told me, "I don't know why he changed this part. There was nothing wrong with it." My plumber needed to change the plumbing. He had to cut the wall and replace the pipe. After that, everything was fine. I contacted Choice back that they needed to send me my money back. They said, "We cannot refund you the money because you did not ask us. We had to investigate whether or not he was certified."

We spoke to the company and they immediately put us on the list to be called if someone canceled. The following day they called with an appointment for the following day. CHW sent a qualified contractor, namely Sears, to repair the GE refrigerator which was running too cold. The Tech found there were two gaskets that were worn and he recommended that they be replaced. CHW was reluctant to authorize expenditure which left me in an embarrassing position of paying for the cost of the gaskets. Currently I am appealing the CHW decision.

Could not get anyone to come. After many conversations, someone was coming several weeks after calling and they told us we would have to pay $75.00. Our usual fee we pay is $45.00. We decided to cancel service and we bought new washer. My husband wanted to cx your service but we decided to wait. I requested a service call to repair the Duct leading from the outdoor air conditioning unit to the indoor register. After inspection it was determined the duct needed to be reattached as it had split. The claim was denied. The duct needed immediate repair as the air was seeping out of the duct into the crawl space. I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET out of pocket including the deductible amount.

We were having an issue with a check valve on our pool equipment. When we put in a request for service through Choice Warranty, the call back and subsequent texts from Purpose pools were very prompt. The only issue is that the technician (Sam), came about 7:45 am and we were told a technician would be there 11AM-3PM. We were glad we were home when he came to discuss our problem. Sam was excellent in discussing what needed to be repaired, and repaired some of the issue that morning, with another visit coming up to complete the rest of the repair. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Our long bulbs in the basement were blowing out. New bulbs didn’t work. CHW sent Easy Electric to evaluate. They determined the problem and reported to CHW. It was approved and the electrician will be out to fix the problem tomorrow. Once repaired, I will be a very satisfied customer.

The man with Bighorn Repair who came to our home was very thorough and friendly. Unfortunately CHW continues to make this process extremely difficult, they would not accept his diagnosis and have reassigned our claim again! CHW is extremely difficult to reach by phone or communicate with. We have jobs too and don’t have time to continually be avail for a 4 hour block of time to have yet another technician eval our unit. Four technicians have eval. And share same diagnosis. Very frustrating. Do not waste your money, this has been an awful experience.

I called Choice Home Warranty on 4 August due to my HVAC not working. Choice Home representative schedule me for 10 August for repairman to come out for the repair of my HVAC. At the time I didn’t read the email showing the 10 August date. Friday I called repairman and he stated he would see me next Wednesday the 10th. Suddenly, late Thursday afternoon, my refrigerator ceased to "frigerate," much less Refrigerate, I called and filed the claim, which was pretty easy, once I got the automated service to understand a I an issue with refrigeration, not "refrigerator hinges." The claim was processed promptly and a service provider was identified, and I was notified a tech would come out on Tuesday.. The repair technician actually came out early - on Friday afternoon, diagnosed the problem, and had the unit working by Saturday afternoon. Many thanks!

I've only used Choice Home Warranty once so far, and I did not like it. My air conditioner was not cooling properly. Choice sent me out two guys from an agency that only had a 2 rating. Although they quickly diagnosed the problem, which was not enough Freon and that was all the problem I had, but I'm in a wheelchair situation so I couldn’t walk after them and see what they've done. They left the light on in the garage where they were working. I didn't get to go in there until the next day. That's minor. But what they did leave open was the gate. I paid $2,000 for a champion dog. And they left the gate open. I can't see the gate from the house. That dog would have been gone and that would’ve been a tragedy. Minor repair, okay. But leaving the gate wide open scared me.
My evaluation of Choice is they engage the cheapest kind of help. Because this was the cheapest. The business got the lowest rating of all that I saw on the internet, and plenty of complaints. And this is who Choice chose to send to my house. I'm not going to renew it. I'm going to drop it, the whole concept of this home warranty stuff. In our area, they have what they call Angi, who screens a little better. I would never use Choice for an air conditioning.

I want to commend Choice for their EXCELLENT representatives who came to the house and within a matter of minutes, diagnosed the problem with the clogged AC primary drain line. They cleaned it out, checked out the system and left with everything in good working order. If anyone is considering purchasing any type of warranty from Choice Home Warranties don't do it. The customer service is horrible, they also send unprofessional and unskilled workers to your home to complete work. The technician did not hook the flute to the furnace emitting carbon monoxide all throughout the property, he uninstalled the water tank and left it full in the living room and told my tenant to keep emptying the buckets. A request was placed for a new hot water tank and the one that was brought to my house was from 2017. I have made several attempts to reach out to Choice for answers and to date no one has responded to any of my messages. Run from this company. Save yourself the time, frustration and money.

I am not one to write reviews but will attempt in this case. After an unpleasant experience with our existing appliance warranty, we were in the market for a new and better product. After chatting with Albert, Choice Warranty appears to meet all our needs and then some with a lower premium. The proof will be in the pudding as they say. We hope we won’t have to call for any major repairs but are hoping that Choice Warranty will live up to all that it promises. Choice Home Warranty assigned a job to a business that does drywall. The day they were to show up, they call me and told me that they quit working for CHW. Then CHW assigned the job to another company. The day that they were to show up, I called them to confirm. They said they did not work with CHW anymore. Then my washer machine stops working. I call CHW and they sent me a company that specializes in washing machines, however, the day he was to show up, he quit and said that he never received a job order from your company. And would never work for your company again. At this point, my washing machine was broke for 2 weeks. I have children. I hired a company to come to my house and fix the washing machine and it cost me $140 out-of-pocket. I ask him to submit it to CHW and he said he wanted nothing to do with your company.

My dryer was malfunctioning and I submitted a claim against my home warranty policy. A technician came on-site to my home to evaluate and diagnose problem with 48 hrs of my request. I was looking for a quicker and reliable service. I used to have American Home Shield earlier, so I switched to Choice Home Warranty. Signing up was not complex. It was straightforward. I have submitted, so far, two claims, and I find it pretty convenient. The problems are very minor, so the techs did a good job. The first guy came to check the AC, and the other guy came to fix the flush.

I called to respond to the email From Guy name Jess **. I wanted to buy 1 year per his email but he was pushing me to buy 6 years that I felt uneasy and doubtful if this guy is a fraud. I asked him to cancel It and did not authorize the charge. The guy went ahead and wound up charging me. I asked him to cancel and he refused.

I had water on my basement floor. When I reported that they said you had to say where it came from it was under my water heater so I said that. Turns out it was not the water heater that technician tried to get him to let him repair something different a PRV valve. They said no had to put in another claim. I had already been 3 days with no hot water this was very disturbing. I had already paid the copay the $85 now I need to pay another copay and have another appointment which will be in another 3 days. I am very disappointed with this service.

On Aug 5 my air on stopped working amidst a 100 degree heat in Henderson. I called up Choice and it took them 5 hrs to assign a technician. When I tried to follow up w/ it’s Choice their response is that it’s their system that will assign the work and I just had to wait in the sweltering heat.

So far your company has done nothing. They could not find anyone to fix our central air system so I did. Mind you the heat index has been 105 degrees all week! I also paid them and am now waiting to be reimbursed. So I’m sure you can understand my frustration. I just had open heart surgery so it was detrimental to getting it repaired asap. I would be happy to give another update when I’m reimbursed.

We have tried to file 2 claims with Choice Home Warranty in the last year. The 1st time they took so long to respond to our broken A/C and were not able to send out a technician for over a week to look at it that we had to go with another technician and therefore we were not able to use the warranty. They did not want to have to replace our A/C! Currently we are using it a second time several months later and we are in almost a week and a half trying to replace a broken water heater... Delayed into next week which will be two weeks without hot water. They were scheduled to come today but didn't show up. We also will have to pay $535 for the visit and installation, almost the replacement cost of the small water heater. We have wasted our money on this Warranty contract... They are expensive, very slow, high fees, with very poor service! I regret the day I took their marketing call!

It is taking weeks and weeks to get anything fixed. Choice will send you a email of the information of the company and the scheduled time. Well we have waited all day and for them to show and get it fixed. I called 40 minutes past time and he said he couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. Then why send email with info and scheduled time if they require a conference call first. He had already been here once and I had paid him his $85 so I knew he was coming back to fix it. He never called my phone, I checked and no call or no voicemail. Choice should get companies that is more local. Very aggravating.

I did a claim with Choice Home Warranty for my garage door opener. The technician replaced the motor. He came initially to look at it, and then he came back a couple of days later after he had ordered the motor. It took almost two weeks for Choice to find a technician to come and do it. So, I'm probably saving some money in the long run, but the timeframe and the inconvenience of it were kind of hard. It seems like every time I call for something, they don't have any technicians available. Also, they should pay their technicians on time. They're calling me and saying that they haven't been paid. They want me to pay them because they haven't received the voucher money from the company.

Far too many "Oh, that's not covered" when the stuff hits the fan. For example, I have damaged sheetrock in my home, and it says my drywall/sheetrock is a covered item. I filled out the request form, told them recent storms had caused water damage (it was there on the request) and they sent out people who looked, wrote an estimate and that afternoon I receive an email that says my damage isn't covered. Well, my policy says drywall is covered, I told you it was water damage. Then they send people to my home where I have to pay the fee to them, and then I am told "not covered". Why didn't they tell me that BEFORE they sent people out and cost me my hard-earned money, just to be rejected?

Well the dryer men they sent last year took forever to fix the machine … my daughter bought me a new one after it stopped drying after the month was up a second time. The microwave man they sent just this week knew right away the machine would cost more to fix than it was worth so they are sending me a Lowe's gift card for me to buy a new one prorated so I have to pay a lot more for a new one.

I am very impressed by the business model, prompt service and the professional service contractors through Choice Warranty. You just call or open a claim online and they take care of the rest. I have 3 rental homes covered and highly recommend them. Other companies want you to find a serviceman, have them call the warranty company to get authorization, you pay them, and then ask for reimbursement from warranty company!

Great job! Very nice and professional! The service person noticed a gas line which was connected near exhaust vent. This was observed as a safety hazard. The service person stated this needed to be repaired and promised a follow up.

The condo I own at ** had issues with dishwasher. I contacted CHW representative that I purchased the warranty, Bruce **. He connected with a service agent Al 7/22/2022. He was placing a work order and would hear from the contracted repair service in 24 hours. I still had not heard anything and called back on 7/25/2022 and was connected to Max who said he would handle it. I was contacted by Eddie's Repair and Maintenance on 7/26/2022 but could not come to the condo address until 8/5/2022 and to make sure $75 service was there. He came on that date and did repair the dishwasher.
My concern is the timeliness. It was not 24 hours from my initial contact with CHW to a return call from the repair service. If this would have been a major plumbing or electrical or HVAC issue it would not be acceptable to wait 2 weeks. I need assurances that CHW response and timeliness will live up to their claim of contact within 24 hours and the problem handled or may rethink termination of my contract and go with another company.

The problem seems to be solved. The guys took great care to check not only the inside units but the outside as well. They didn’t leave until they were satisfied that it was fixed. Also said should it begin again I should call them ASAP.

I had a water leak. I put in a claim. You couldn’t find anyone to fix it. I had to find my own plumber. You didn’t pay because he didn’t have time to approve because I had an emergency situation with water leaking and ruining my wood under my sink. So you won’t pay me and I had to pay or wait and have more damage. I think you should pay me because you failed to help me in an emergency situation.

I had a good experience. I called CHW on Friday. Their Tech came out on Tues. He ordered my parts and replaced my ice maker on Thursday. Can't beat the service $ charge either. CHW was great with communication too.

CHW is horrible! They do NOT have 24/7/365 customer service. They don't have 'emergency service '. They deny claims, deny repairs & low ball offers to replace appliances. I filed 4 claims since having them. HVAC Claim they DENIED! I had a cracked heat exchanger on a 19 year old furnace. They said it was pre-existing. Plus if they did approve the claim, they would have only paid out FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS MAX! For a new system? Really it cost me $5,000.00
Plumbing claim they DENIED! It happened on a Saturday. I filed claim online. But since they are only available M-F normal business hours. I was forced to call a plumber because I had raw sewage backed up into tub, sink & toilet. This could NOT wait until Monday or later. Front load washer, this they approved. But it took over 6 WEEKS, to get my washer fixed.
Gas Range claim (convection oven, probe cooking, self cleaning, 5 burner etc) well they denied the repairs. But said I qualified for a replacement. Ha! What a joke! Their idea of replacement is less than 1/4 the cost to replace my current range! Then that takes 30 business DAYS to receive the funds!! Because they don't actually offer a replacement. This company currently has over 10,000 complaints filed with the BBB. There are also class action lawsuits against them. Don't make the same mistake! Go with a better home warranty company!

Bruno from BJ Appliance is the very best technician. I always request him because he is very knowledgeable, always on time, determines the problem immediately if he does not have the part with him, he promptly orders the part and completes the repair. Yesterday he had the part, the repair was completed. He is a one and done guy. I have never had to call him back after he has completed the repair. Plus he loves his job. I highly recommend him.

I just signed up for a plan. I will not be able to officially use it for 30 days. So, I cannot tell you how good the claims process will be until I actually have to make a future claim. My biggest gripe is with so-called customer service: outsourcing to foreign countries, which doesn't allows me to feel I am guaranteed to either get the most correct information, and/or no more information than what's actually listed on the website.
So much information is convoluted, or often possibly misinterpreted, and so I can see one of a few reasons why this company pushes multiple times at the beginning to try and get customers to pay for one year, versus monthly, which is what the majority can afford, and which makes most sense. No one in their right mind will ever pay for one year up front with a risk of not getting unused months back if they decide to cancel the service. Because let's face the facts: no rational person knows what a service like this will actually do until they have to use it to file a claim. Let's be realistic.

The plumber replaced a rubber ring in the tank and declared leak fixed. I put food color in tank of that toilet to check leak fixed and color came through into bowl which indicates leak was not fixed. Have cut water off going into toilet again as. My water bill is extremely high due to leak. I am 83 and should not have to go through this twice for same problem.

I got two other opinions and they did not confirm the same diagnosis as the representative that CHW sent. Therefore I felt that CHW sent someone that knows what they will pay for and what they won’t pay for; hence the result of a diagnosis that’s CHW did will not pay for a replacement hot water tank. Additionally, when I got this contract it was said that they cover certain things and they weren’t specific that it had to be a specific diagnosis in order for CHW to replace it; hence their deceptive selling practice.
