It turned out so well. Tim came and fixed everything just like brand new. And the person I spoke with at Choice was so nice and helpful. And it all happened in a timely way. It was like everybody working to get the job done. And they were all so nice and helpful about it all. Makes me want to keep going with Choice!!

The repair person came right out and fixed the problem. He made his assessment, told me what the issue was and got my upstairs air conditioner up and running in no time. He worked with me around my work schedule, so I did not have to miss time off.

Choice Home Warranty really is a good company. They do offer the best prices around. Even if there is an elevated price later, it's still affordable. A person can get just about anything fixed they need in their homes and not have to pay the huge prices in the end.

It took a week to get a tech to come out and I made all the calls. There is an additional fee I have to pay which was not expected. I’m disappointed in the service this time. I am committed for 3 years and hope the service will be better in the future.

You guys had not even looked for a technician after a week when applying warranty, I’ve been without a water and a/c over a week. I had to go and find a technician who was great but don’t take credit for me doing CHW job. Still now I was supposed to be called back by supervisor but no call from CHW has been returned to mess promised. I’m not allowed to upload photos, and CHW refuses to go forward with repair or further correspondence. I am a tetraplegic, I should not have to do your guys' job plus I had to pay 100 dollars for tech instead of 60 dollars. Reimbursement would be nice. Having the repairs done would be better.
I’ve been over a week without water or a/c. My arms and legs don’t move. Why am I being treated like this by corporate? I was going to cancel because of treatment of earlier case of trying to turn in these maintenance issues but was rudely treated over the phone. Hung up on by CHW numerous times. Technician I got was great. Corporate handling of situation leaves a lot to be desired. Would recommend technician. CHW command structure not so much.

Nicholis (sp?) was our technician to fix our washing machine. He got right to the problem, explained the problem to me simply and telling me the process to get it fixed. Friendly and personable. Ordered parts right away. Have appointment to get the machine fixed already.

The sales representative pointed out many advantages of switching over from another home warranty company. He was very helpful and provided good rates for their “Total Coverage” plan which included reasonable service call fees. Also, their VIP program is worth looking into because it saved me more money.

I called to schedule assistance with my washer having rust and the rust getting on my clothes. The customer service was great and I’m hoping to get a service tech scheduled asap. It will likely be 24 hours but there was no indication the rust problem won’t be covered.

Our Kenmore refrigerator stopped working. Choice Home Warranty set up an appointment with Sears Home Services to repair the unit. The repairman found that a relay had failed and had the unit running within an hour. We appreciated that a company highly qualified in repairing the unit was selected.

Need a new control panel, waiting on part. He was on time and called before he came, he checked everything over & was determined the control panel is only working partially. He explained everything to us and set up an appointment for Nov. but there may be a delay to getting the part.

My Technician was very good! He was polite, knew what he was doing & diagnosed the problems with both of my garage doors very quickly! He was able to make adjustments on one of the openers & had to order a new remote for the other door! I said he would be back in one week to install the new remote & he was on time & it is so good to finally have my opener working again! I will recommend him to anyone I know who needs garage door service!

Microwave stopped working and would not heat. I called CHW and quickly someone was assigned to come check the microwave out. I was told it was too costly to repair. Thankful for the e-card I will receive to purchase a new one from CHW. I will now need someone to install it. Thanks.

We live in a rural area, so when our equipment goes out of whack we call a local technician which isn't part of the CHW network of providers. We submitted the invoice to CHW for payment and they were prompt in settling our account. Appreciate the quick response from CHW.

The mechanic was very good. He could correct the problem and get the dishwater started. He worked diligently. He was good in communicating too. He requested to observe for few days and come back if it doesn't work... So it was all good.

Took a month to get a technician out only for CHW to tell me my above ground spa is not covered even though I called and spoke to several different reps that assured me the spa was covered. I called prior to purchasing coverage. I got email confirmation that my above ground spa was covered in my policy. I even called prior to making a claim to describe my situation and the representative told me my spa was covered after explaining to him that it was an above ground spa, not attached to a pool and they told me my spa was covered. Now that a technician has been to my home CHW is telling me my spa was never covered.

The gentleman was polite, efficient and caring. He took ownership in fixing foghorn problem with toilet. Choice Home Warranty lady tech agent was also very organized and helped us to get problem solved by setting up appointment immediately to meet our schedule.

Technician assigned and appointment set. Technician made an assessment of the problem and ordered a part(s). I called to ask if there was anything else I needed to do and I was told a different technician would be assigned and the service co-pay would be waived for the new technician. That was over two weeks ago. The water heater is still not fixed. No other technicians have contacted me nor has CHOICE with any sort of an update. I then receive an email that states the repair/parts are unnecessary without another technician nor the original technician ever coming to the house. And as of this posting my hot water heater is still broken. I have paid well over the cost of either parts or a new water heater over the years I have been a customer. This is unacceptable and horrible customer service.

My freezer was repaired by a company you sent couple of months ago. They did the work that the current company will not approve because of sloppy workmanship. My freezer is not able to be opened because of ice that keeps it closed. Current work order company will not fix it because the seal on the door was not properly installed and they say it's not covered as normal wear and tear.

I called yesterday regarding my furnace that stopped. I live in NE Ohio and it's cold here. After waiting 7 hours I had the option of calling someone myself which I did. It appears as though your insurance works best in big cities. Now the guy can't complete this work while this drags out with you folks.

I was having issue with our house drainage system and stopped water draining from bath tub and toilet. I did file a claim to CHW. My issue was assigned to a plumber immediately and got help within 24 hrs. Then the issue got resolved and paid by the CHW. Plumber I got through CHW is extremely helpful and trustworthy, he resolved the issue despite it was tough. I am glad that I was having Choice Home Warranty for my home.

This review is of Choice Home Warranty NOT the company they sent to repair our garage door. Choice would not confirm with the repair company if the repairs would be covered... The repairman waited approximately 20 minutes for someone from Choice to call him and then asked us to try calling. We called and were told it was, "still in the system to be reviewed" and if no one called the repairman in another 20 minutes (ridiculous!) then the company would have to come back another day to fix the issue. This is absolutely pitiful customer service. It is also not our first negative experience with Choice. Do not get your home warranty from this company. Look elsewhere.

We were very dissatisfied with Choice. After calling in our claim it was almost a week before hearing from a technician. The technician was prompt but all the communication from Choice asked us to find our own person to repair. This was unacceptable. We pay our fee promptly and on time each month. We are deserving of the same prompt service. The lack of service has caused us to reconsider our continued use of Choice as our home warranty company.

I would not recommend Choice Home Warranty to anyone that doesn't have a home office. I didn't know that I couldn't get anything in writing from them. They only send emails. I'm trying to sell my home and I asked if they could send me a professional looking paper or certificate that the potential buyers could see but they only email. They refused.

The technician that did the work did fine. No complaints as of yet. The issues: they tack on a service fee if you pay by card. Wasn’t aware until my card was charged. Then the company could not figure out how to refund my card same day. So I paid cash but no instant receipt - had to wait on a texted receipt that came 30 minutes later. Another issue- technician has to call headquarters and read card number aloud in order to pay by card. So much for security. Not sure I would use them again because of payment issues. It’s 2022. Just give technicians a square to use for payments with the already issued company phone.

Washing machine leaked due to the water inlet needs to be replaced. The light bulb in the microwave, that projects on the stove, was jammed in the socket and I was unable to get it out and replaced. The problem was resolved.

My experience with Choice regarding this claim, was something less than positive. I had to call them twice, as the technician called to tell me that the claim was showing itself as completed, when in fact no one had even come out to service the appliance yet??! Once the tech arrived, the service was great!

The technician was very courteous. The only problem I encountered was that it took almost six days to find somebody to fix a water heater. I don't usually have to wait that long to get a repair person to come to the house.

I called my own technician. Have been trying to reach someone on the phone regarding the reimbursement program. At first I was told what to do to get reimbursed, then notification stating the program was no longer available. Is it available or not. My furnace has not worked since last April.

My first experience wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. I don’t like that it can take up to 24 hours to even get a technician assigned. I don’t love that even though the needed part will arrive in 5-7 business days that the technician can’t come back until November 1st. I thought I would have more control i.e. given a list of approved technicians so that I could make the appointment, etc. I just renewed my warranty. I wish I had more insight into the “mechanics” before I renewed. I would have shopped for a warranty that better fit my needs. Live and learn. As an aside, the assigned technician, Ivan, was awesome!

Had the ice maker stop working on my refrigerator. Tech came to service the refrigerator..Management was able to let the tech into my condo. I was out of town so this transaction and communication was all done over the phone and internet. The ice maker and a water supply valve were bad - so the parts were ordered and will be replaced when they get delivered and the tech can come out to my condo again. This service call cost me $65, will find out if I have to pay this $65 again for the next service call.

He diagnosed that it needed a new motor and has ordered the part. The technician diagnosed the problem very quickly and was very professional. The tech kept in touch with me to let me know that Choice Warranty approved the repair and the part will be in shortly. It is taking quite a bit of time to get the part which is disappointing.

I filed a claim for my sink leaking and because I did not state that it could be the faucet leaking I have to file another claim for the faucet. My kitchen sink has been unusable for over 4 days now. Instead of filing the additional claim, the service member closed it out after assuring me that it was done and I would not have to pay the additional $65 for the second service call. I called today to find out why I had not heard from the service provider and found out the claim had been closed. I then had to file another claim for the same service. Choice Home Warranty owes me the cost of the service call if I have to pay it. I would and never will recommend this company to anyone. It is always the same, no claim ever goes smoothly or accurately. If you ask for a call back no one ever calls including the specialist if the claim is questioned.

Appointment set up quickly. I contacted service before appointment. Quick reply. Gentleman very cordial. Repair completed on first visit. Advised me to recall if any problems. I had to recall for continued. Repairman responded and returned the same day. Found a dead bird near motor! Issue resolved and no further problems.

Five days after filing a claim, I have yet to be contacted by the service technician. I contacted Choice Home Warranty. They gave me the technician's company name and phone number. I called him and left him a voicemail and not even received a courtesy of a return phone call from this technician. Contemplating maybe canceling my service with Choice Home Warranty as this is my second encounter with lousy service.

Called Choice and they got right to work lining up a repair company. The repair company was fast, courteous, and the technician did a great job. Getting the Choice Home Warranty was definitely worth the money. So far, I can’t see any disadvantages in having it.

Easy set up process. Kind and knowledgeable sales representative answered all of my questions. I am able to cover additional items like garage refrigerator and free standing ice machine in bar for minimal additional fee. I have been a customer of CHOICE Home Warranty for more than 3 years now. Each technician that comes out is always pleasant, polite, professional and always gives valuable used advice. However, my issue is with CHOICE, this company now forces consumers to speak to an automated system before reaching an actual human, the prices have been raised tremendously without any input or advance notice to us the consumer, we were not allowed to offer any input. Of course, the prices have gone up, but the service of the representatives has gone downhill. I am currently looking into ending my relationship with CHOICE and finding a new home warranty option or none at all.

The technician that came to my house would be highly recommended, however, the denial of my claim by CHW has left a bad taste in my mouth. The technician says that my electrical panel is a fire hazard and needs to be replaced ASAP. CHW claims it is a pre-existing condition and therefore not covered. What a scam! Everything can be claimed to be pre-existing if not brand new! Technician was great!

First of all I want to commend you on the making the appointment so quickly! I received a call from the technician asking if He could come to my house to repair my toilet. The technicians were very professional and courteous. They replaced the damaged toilet and cleaned as they worked. The service fee was great as well. Contacted Choice Home Warranty via the website, only had to inform them what the problem was and shortly thereafter received a response to my service request. An appointment date and time was set up at that time with a local company. They arrived at the earliest time covered by their time frame. Beats waiting hours within the given time frame. Once the technician arrived he quickly discovered that the whole unit would need to be replaced. The unit was replaced with a "same as" unit. He was courteous and professional. Thanks, Choice!!!

Warranty company is to get help within 48 hours but it had a great difficulty.. But thanks to the tech he worked me in and I now have heat. I would recommend the company so far..but not the warranty company as of late because of the length of time involved..PLUS they raised my payment fee after I put the claim in and because it was fixed later I had to pay the new fee which was not good..

Not until we spoke with a supervisor, did we get the answers we needed. We heard 3 different quotes, different rates for service calls, robo phone calls and non-stop texts, emails, etc. We did purchase through an English-speaking young man who was a supervisor le ear information and explanations.

tl;dr: They're covering the replacement of my furnace, but gave me the run-around after a misleading link caused me to approve paying $900 with no additional information as to why.
It was easy to submit a claim and the tech was great. Choice approved the claim to replace my furnace, but I was told I needed to pay $900. Clicked a link that said "learn more" and it said I approved the charges. Took about 5 hours on the phone with Choice and tech to figure out what those charges were for. There was no way to see through the customer portal what the charges were for, and no way to directly contact someone who could tell me - I had to call support who had to put in a request with a case manager, who then emailed me to set up a time to have a phone call, and all of this was after clicking a misleading link where I tried to learn why I was being charged $900 only to be told I'd approved those charges.
Now that I understand it, I am agreeing to the charges (Choice is paying for the furnace and labor, but not any of the changes to ducting, etc. necessary to install the furnace because those items aren't covered), but the quality of the customer portal interface and the service was not great. Still waiting on the furnace, and the tech said Choice can take a while on that as well. If it was just the extra charge, I'd be willing to give 5 stars. I get that warranty companies have to draw a line somewhere on what's covered. But the quality of service drops it to at most 3 stars for me.

We have 3 experiences using our Choice Home Warranty. Accent Homes is an awesome contractor that serviced our swimming pool. At 1st we were assigned to Neal's swimming pool service. That is probably the 1st and last time he has ever been referred to anyone. Long story. Choice reassigned us to Accent Homes. JR and Casey are awesome. 5-Star! Accent Homes should be the only contractor that is referred for swimming pool repair in our area. Our dishwasher broke down and we were assigned to County Refrigeration. Tony, Joe and Dayno are great. They replaced the motherboard which fixed most of the problems and will now be putting in a new heating element.
We had an issue with our above-ground hot tub and found out that the above-ground hot tub was not covered. We had bought the 6-year plan. The resolution department very quickly and very easily refunded the entire amount for the spa portion. From my memory, they might have refunded more than what we had paid for the hot tub coverage. That refund more than covered the cost of the repair to the hot tub.

Arizona is still experiencing warm weather, it is difficult to sleep without air conditioning especially when humidity during monsoon weather is still with us. The Sears/A&E Tech was fantastic. Choice got them to my house to fix my dishwasher within 2 days which was great. However, CHW decided to replace my appliance instead of repair it and only gave me $250 gift card to Lowe's to buy a new one. That won’t even buy me the cheapest model. I’m still working with them to increase the tab and haven’t heard back yet...

Not happy with your pricing of replacement products. YOUR REPRESENTATIVE was giving me pricing of replacement products through American Freight. Checked my local American freight and a replace same as my old microwave not even close to what she was telling me. So I have to spend extra money to get same product and then Pay NOT installation. Not happy! But that's insurance company for you. When I bought policy, was told, "You paid for installation, extra 124.00 dollars out of consumer's pocket."

Contacted CHW daily regarding getting someone to fix my Hot Water Heater for almost 3 weeks. Finally set up an appointment with someone over 63 Miles away who was not real happy about having to come this far. He rescheduled 1st appointment due to being too busy. Wanted to reschedule again for days away but I begged and pleaded. He finally showed up at 8 PM. This was my 5th claim with CHW and none of them ran smoothly. I will not renew or tell my friends to use CHW. In fact. My experience caused 2 people to cancel contracts they just signed up with CHW. Even several of the Techs that came out on my claims mentioned CHW is very difficult to work with and get things covered. Only covered 2 of my 5 claims.

Another serviceman had been to my house to do a regular winter checkup and had an issue with the flame sensor and said it needed to be replaced. With my Choice warranty, I called and requested someone to come out and fix, the service folks that came indicated it was fine and the original serviceman had not cleaned the flame sensor. After cleaning, the flame sensor was back up to what it should be so I am well satisfied with the results.

Replacement of Garbage disposal is very poor quality. They replaced 3/4 HP in place of 1HP existing Garbage disposal. The replacement is very noisy compared to the old one. Technician was rude, and no professionalism. They told me that they replaced with industrial disposal, is not true. Good thing it wasn’t my refrigerator, based on this they would have replaced the household refrigerator with a dormitory refrigerator. This answer is ridiculous and don’t care attitude. Sorry, I am not happy at all.

Technician was great as well as the Case manager; however, negotiating payment is unacceptable. Offering a gift card from Lowe's is totally unacceptable. It does not provide options for me to choose my preferred vendor. Waiting for weeks to receive payment is especially unacceptable given that it's a major appliance. Lowe's will not accept the gift card as a payment on their account which would possibly been a quicker resolution even though the delivery time is approximately 7+ days after the purchase. Given all of this makes for a very unpleasant experience and dissatisfied customer.

The Tech was great. After my experience with CHW, I can't encourage other home buyers I know to get your services. For almost 2 months and 2 weeks, my family and I have been without a working refrigerator. Now I have to wait for almost 30 more days to get my Lowe's gift card to purchase a new refrigerator. My water heater went out in one of my properties. My tenant moved out 9/30 but reported seeing water before they left. I advised them to continue moving and I will fix the issue after they leave, to avoid anyone being in the way as they moved. As soon as they left, I called Choice Home Warranty and made a claim, but it was immediately denied in less than 24 hours. Since the house was vacant when the plumber that they contracted arrived, my water heater was not covered by Choice Home Warranty due to the property being unoccupied. I tried to dispute this decision but couldn't get anyone to call me back.
I was consistently told that my situation was escalated and that someone would call me back same day and then 24 hours. The “no callbacks” were a major inconvenience as I am having a new tenant move in 10/15. This happened twice before I decided to cancel my policy as it didn't make sense to pay for a policy with no coverage being rendered. My husband believes that home warranties are frauds, and I was hoping to convince him since I believed all our properties could benefit from a warranty. However, this was a complete let down and I will never do business with Choice again!

We just switched to Choice Home Warranty after being customers of American Home Shield for 18 years. We decided to shop around since our monthly fee was raised significantly for this next contract year with AHS. We waited out our one month after signing with Choice Home warranty for coverage and then cancelled our contract with AHS. Within a week, we started using our heater due to dropping temperatures in the evenings. Within a few days, we noticed our heater no longer heating and we called Choice with our first repair claim. We received a service provider within a few days. He had to locate a part to come back to finish the repair. Once he replaced the part, it worked for a little bit and then stopped again.
He realized the problem was a part that had a crack in it. Because the unit is older and the part was irreplaceable, he put in a request to Choice to replace the heating unit. He got back a denial, within minutes, while still at our home. We had the option to dispute the claim. We submitted a statement for dispute and were assigned a “dedicated” case manager that we had a phone appointment with. We received the phone call, not from our case manager, but another lady who I believe was listed as a coordinator for the phone call. As if by a script, she continued to say it must have been a preexisting condition and that the unit must be in working order to be covered and, therefore, they wouldn’t cover it.
This is after explaining that the unit was in working condition up until the day it stopped and we called them. We also explained that we had a home warranty for 18 years and always had maintained and kept it in working condition. There is no way to say when the crack occurred, but apparently it’s not their problem. So, we are now buying and installing a new furnace, out of pocket, for replacement. It’s unfortunately that we decided to switch from American Home Shield and very disappointing for our first claim with Choice. It looks like if there’s a loophole to not provide service, they’re going to use it and stick to it.

I had a claim opened in August, after not hearing anything for a couple of weeks I called they said that I would need to find my own technician since they hadn't found anyone on their own. I found one and when I went to do the reimbursement process on my own I found out that they had closed my claim without contacting me a single time. They said it had been open for over 30 days. How could a company close out a claim without even trying to find a technician or contacting the consumer it's ridiculous and the worst experience I've had. I'll be changing immediately. It took me a minute to figure out how to submit a service request, which is called "make a claim" on their website. After finally being able to submit a new service request for electrical, the first available was 5 days away. I was able to call around and get someone come out same day the next day. When I tried to call the CHW technician at Prime Electric to cancel my appointment with them, there was no answer, and voice mail box was full - only means was to send an SMS only of my phone number I guess for them to call back. This was my first time using CHW since moving over from AHS. So far it is just satisfactory.

My home warranty service sent them out to do a Dishwasher repair. The young kid they sent out was nice, the owner on the other hand has no idea what he is doing. I waited three weeks for them to get the part & call me, NOTHING, not an email or phone call. I call MA & the owner answers & he told me that the Tech told him it was finished on the spot. A right out LIE, because my warranty service approved them to do the job. So, after he MADE EXCUSES, he set up a time for Sat, another LIE because again never a call or email to say they're on their way or can't make it. This company shouldn't be in business let alone working with a warranty company. Absolutely Worthless, their customer service STINKS.

I was ask to pay $1,300.00 for the repair with a service company that is located in another city approx. 3 hrs away. We have been without A/C for 2 weeks and still no repair. They not only contacted a contractor that day, but the contractor called the same day and scheduled an appointment to come out the next day to replace it. The technician, from Fiore, LLC, (can't recall his name) was prompt, professional, and thoroughly cleaned up. I'd recommend without hesitation. I'd like to mention that Choice Home Warranty took over a week to send someone out which I find to be unacceptable. They now say you can use your own technician before they assign someone. If I wanted to do that I wouldn't bother paying Choice. Perhaps this is their way of getting paid to do nothing. They sent someone after I said I was going to drop them.

The Tech that came to see the AC unit was very detailed on our problem and on the solution. I was able to understand. He even went as far as to help me with the air filters. Informed me how often to change them.

Submitting a claim with Choice is very easy. I just go through a website and I enter a couple of information and some description. Their response is really very quick. I had an issue with my oven. The contractor was really competitive and very knowledgeable. He fixed everything. It cost me $60. Another guy for the refrigerator and it was also a very excellent experience. He found the root cause. It was not something very hard to fix, but it was very hard for me to find out. The diagnosis was very quick. The last one was for my dishwasher. It was a little disappointing because they said, “We’ll give you some money, and you go and buy another one.” The tech, when he came, said, “Once the spare part comes, it will take 15 minutes to fix.” But Choice chose to give me some money for a new dishwasher and they gave me very little money. But I called back. They upped it a little bit. They made it reasonable.

I opened a ticket on a Thursday evening and an AC tech came to my house to check it out on Saturday morning. He arrived 2 hrs before the arrival time given to me. He called to let me know he was on the way. The motor was broken, so he put an order in for a replacement. Hopefully it will come in soon.

I started searching for ideas for a home warranty a month ago on Google. I looked for top companies. Choice come up 1st over 4 others. I filled out an interest form. At least 2 emails and 2 phone calls arrived every day. I did not respond because I wasn't sure I wanted to continue further. Today 10/10/22 I did answer the phone and spoke to Loay. He professionally and in detail explained what the Choice offers. I questioned some areas and I was impressed with his responses. I agreed to a 1 year program. He said he would switch me to his manager. I spoke to Louie who was also professional and detailed in his presentation to upgrade me to a longer plan. After a discussion I agreed to a 3 year plan. I worked for 30+ years for the Ford Motor Co. calling on dealers on the east coast. Louie is an excellent closer. I look forward to seeing how the 3 year program progresses.

I was told by Sean that nothing would be charged to my credit until you were given my 3 digit code and that was not true. It has already been charged to my account without that number. This number was not to be given until the 30 days were up, so because you have charged me does that mean I have coverage or I still have to wait 30 days. If I misunderstood please let me know asap. This makes me wonder if I want to continue with you or go with the other company who has not charged me until my 30 days are up.

Marcus was awesome! He quickly diagnosed the issue with our freezer and worked with Choice to get a game plan together. He was very professional and explained everything along the way! I would recommend Marcus to a friend, even if they didn't have a home warranty! :)

I reported the problem at 8:00 and I heard from the repairman at 11:30 and he was here by 12:30 and finished the work by 2:00. They were very friendly and did a great job. I'm glad I have a contract with Choice. This was the first time I had to make a claim and I am very pleased with the way it was handled. I would recommend Choice Warranty to anyone who is looking for a home warranty.

A second call was necessary to get a service person here. The ordered parts arrived here within two (2) days but the appointment to install the parts was scheduled over two weeks later. Almost all of the food in both the refrigerator and the freezer compartment was lost..

The warranty served very little value to me as I looked at the details. The liability is limited to $3000 for every 12 months. That doesn't cover the cost of replacement for high end appliances. If the warranty offered more coverage, I would be very interested but this warranty policy doesn't cover much for me.

My plumber was fine. He said he’s seen this issue before due to a plastic part inside the faucet. I then got a text later that this issue was not covered. I got another text to contact a claim dispute person Aaron ** who I left a message with and still have not received a call back. Will be posting on Next Door about the poor service and outrageous denial of my claim.

It Took a week to order and receive the parts and then an additional week to get the repair scheduled. I have been buying ice all this time and still lost most of my food. I was never given any idea that I would be without refrigeration so long.

I filed a claim about the bathroom in my master bedroom that was leaking blue water from underneath. The plumber named Sydney from Kintex Plumbing did a great job! My home has 3 bathrooms and the last time I called for the same issue on one of the other bathrooms it was not repaired correctly. It was a different plumbing company and the repairman that came did not do what Sydney did to repair the one on the claim this time. It's hard to find people that actually do the work right. Sydney is one of those plumbers that knows what he is doing, and he does it right.

The level of service was far superior to my previous bad experience. My HVAC unit had required repair and an upgrade for the AC not working. It took almost a month of follow up on my part and back and forth before it was finally repaired. My recent experience was much better after the heat vent in the basement to vent out carbon monoxide fumes needed to be repaired. The repairs were completed within one day.

CHW is very responsive. Every time I call and ask them, they’re very good. I definitely recommend them. For our recent claim, the heating element on the water tank was replaced. The tech changed the element. But that guy, I really hated him to do a good job, to begin with, and number two, he charged us an extra. Usually, what we understood is when a technician comes to do the repair, we pay them the first $35 and the rest is covered by the insurance. But in our case, it wasn't that. We paid $75 plus he charged us for the line. He also set the temperature high. Still, the water is really burning. We have to be very careful when we turn on the shower.

Used Armco for warranty claim in thermostat. They came out next day after placing the claim and replaced thermostat. Called for credit card number and no complaints. Service person was very nice coordinating with our neighbor because we weren’t there.

In the midst of oncoming Hurricane Ian I needed to fill my bathtub with water. I immediately found out the plug to stop the water from escaping did not work. I called CHW after the storm passed for a repair. The technician was very polite and helpful. After submitting the claim it was denied. I found this completely uncalled for. I will no longer be recommending you as I have done so to many in the past. Like I said prior I am very disappointed with your decision.

Customer service and resolving issue. I was without AC/hvac for 1week. Took way too long. Initial tech never showed. New tech brand new to choice. At the end of the day, some people were helpful (rating 2). Most, gave runaround. Tech did best he could and was equally frustrated.

There have been some issues with contractors. It was very rocky for a couple of months but things have gotten better. They have worked to correct contractor issues. I wish we could a get a better breakdown as to what is covered, the cost associated if it needs replacement.

Diagnosed temp regulator not working. Were able to fix. Glad I didn’t have to replace hot water heater. Choice Warranty called to ask if I wanted to purchase and I was already a customer. They asked if I wanted to purchase new subscription before I had service but how am I supposed to see how you work if I don’t have claim. Told them I would fill out claim before renewing.

My garage door opener stopped working. The first three technicians that Choice Warranty sent never showed up. This was quite frustrating. The fourth technician was on time, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I wish it hadn't taken four times to get someone here.

I made a claim mid morning for my furnace not working. It said within six hours I would receive the contact information of someone that would be able to come out for repairing the furnace. At the moment of writing this it has been eleven hours and I have still not heard from anyone yet.

I had three claims with Choice recently - microwave, washing machine and refrigerator. The process was very good. The techs were good, but they took a little while to come in. They had to come back because they had ordered the parts for the washing machine and that was what took long. I am happy with CHW.

The repair man came 5 days after making our claim. The part needed to be ordered and I was told it would take 2-3 to come in. The next day I received an email that we were offered $ in lieu of repairs to purchase a new washer. I accepted the offer then was told the Lowe's gift card would take up to 30 days to arrive. Was satisfied with the offer but was not happy that I would have to pay out of pocket for a new washer because we needed it now not in 30 days.

Did a very good job. Cleaned the heater & vanes. Changed the thermostat. All good! All was checked out & fault found to the thermostat. Worked right away & really tested the next day and night. Alternated between heater & A/C to insure all was well.

Second time using CHW. Replacing AHS who is by far the absolute most expensive and absolute terrible service and follow through. Do yourself a favor and call Alpha and have him help you with much better coverage at a much better overall price. My service experience with CHW and contractors and service has been better than I’ve experienced with AHS, or heard of from my friend’s experiences with AHS. No doubt about my decision to bring family members into using CHW was easy. Great company, service and follow up.

Compressor is out..Haven't had any problems for two years and then just ice maker. Choice ordered new compressor and Minh will fix it on 24th. Love this guy, always does a great job. Very impressed with Choice Home Warranty as we switched only 2 months ago. I love my fridge and am thrilled it can be fixed.

It took 4 times before technician came to repair. Meanwhile no air-condition for 4 days. This is not acceptable. I hope this will be better in the future. I could get repair locally in one day this would be better if I was updated each day.

The technician was prompt in contacting us, realized that we had an emergency and expedited our appointment date, and fixed the issue in one visit. Yes, I would definitely recommend Anthony to everyone! All technicians should arrive with the proper tools to fix any issue in their field unless parts are not available. Then you order! 99% arrive empty handed only to take notes and leave you with the issue longer than you need to be waiting. Very scammy business. Even without Choice, we will use his company.
