When I decided to sign with them, they tried to pressure me into doing a three-year plan because it would be cheaper. That was a pain. Also, since I signed up, I haven't received any paperwork stating what my coverage and deductibles are.

The service is decent. But I wish I had less than a $75 deductible. I had an overhead shower that was not running. The tech showed me the switch I had to switch. It's different. I had to switch it up and turn on the water and the overhead shower would flow. That was $75.

Choice has replaced my garage door opener for me. But I had an experience with them that I was not happy about. I found that my toilet bowl was cracked and my back door was leaking. I filed a claim on my toilet bowl and then, I didn't know if they would cover the situation with my back door. So, I was trying to find a way to file a claim. I called them because I couldn't figure out what I was trying to file a claim on and every time I do it in the system, it kept coming up with plumbing. I kept telling the lady that water was coming through my back door and that there are no pipes there. She told me it wasn't going to be covered because the issue was just a back door. I found out it had something to do with the roof and they don't cover that. It was very frustrating. She was hard to understand. So, I called my homeowner's insurance. Also, Choice ended up not covering my toilet and I ended up having to replace it.
Other than that, I'm satisfied at this point with what they have done for me compared to my last company.

I've used Choice once so far and it was a very pleasant experience. I had a dryer repair and the technician gave me a three-hour time period that he would be here. He called me 15 minutes before he was going to arrive. He diagnosed the issue quickly and said he had to order the part. He gave me a date when he would be back. He came back and did the repair. Choice saves me money on repairs overall. There's a copay of $65 but it would have cost me more to do the repair if I just paid out of pocket.

I like them a lot. They were really helpful. They really explained everything clearly and much better than any of the other companies did. They gave me everything I asked for and a little bit more. They're very good at what they do.

I have a furnace problem and they told me to call my local service people because they didn't have anybody in this area. I've done that and it happened to be the same service people I used once before. There was only a $90 fee but I did not turn it in. But the person I talked to answered everything I asked. He stuck through his little program that he had in front of him. I'm happy with them so far. It was all handled in a timely fashion.

Seven days without a working dryer is too long. I expect more timely attention with my warranty claims. Can you please have more technicians readily available? I did call the technician for an earlier service date, however, could not be accommodated.

Repair to dryer was more than policy allowed. Check is being sent to me for either toward a new one or for the cost of repair. Could/should have been more but I'm happy with the company based on previous service.

Overall great experience. My plumber technician was scheduled to come day later but reached out to me day before and had taken care of the issue immediately in very short time. Very clean and removed all debris. Overall very very happy that problem was solved in timely manner.

My experience with Choice was very good so far. The Customer Service person that took my call was very helpful. She answered all my questions, was very clear in her responses and set up my appliance repair appointment. She also helped me with my obligations to the repair person (co-pay, etc).

Updated on 02/12/2023: I was set up for my first use of CHW. The plumber showed up on time and submitted the required info. He was given the go ahead to make repairs on 2 of the 3 problems, but a few minutes later he was told that the problems were not covered. I called customer service and after a 15 minute conversation I kept getting the same response, it was not covered. I was transferred to another department and spoke to Daisy, who was GREAT and settled the problem and I had a new date set for the problems to be corrected.
Original Review: I spoke with Josh ** and he was very helpful and informative. Answers that he did not have, he went and found out the answers. I trust what he told me and look forward to this new program. We came to a conclusion and I have signed up for their services.

Choice Warranty has a wonderful contract in my area with Sears. Once I went on line and made my claim Choice scheduled me an appointment to have my repair done the very next day. The technician had to reschedule but he was very efficient in letting me know when he would be able to reschedule. Sears Technician ID #** made my repair. He was very professional and well organized. Positive: A technician sent an email within 24 hours. On time for his appointment, very courteous while here, answered any questions I had and resolved our problem. Negative: Your ads always have people say they've had their problem fixed the same or next day. We've never experienced that quick reaction. Our appointments, although contacted by email within 24 hrs to set up the appointment, the actual appointments have always been set up for 4 or 5 days later... It would be nice when a person has an appliance problem it would be fixed within 48 hours max.

I have never had an agent explain to me and my wife in detail the services they had to offer. The price was more than fair and the Account Manager had both poise and patience! I didn't feel pressured. Just informed. Can't wait to see the service in action.

Was helped on my call for a new claim, she was very professional and got all my information. Of course it was a recording but it was clear and thorough and it did its work. So far my experience with Choice have been very good, no complaints at all, but of course I haven’t had a appliance that has to be replaced! That’s when a problem begins!

The repairman who came to look at our pool gave us his thought of what he thought our problem was. He was correct. But, he didn't really look or test anything else and I would have appreciated further review of our pool. We were "lucky" that he got it right & didn't have to call him back out.

Alex the HVAC technician from Quality Ambient, LLC was very professional and courteous. He installed a pump to my HVAC system and took the time to explain the process. He cleaned up the area when the job was completed. I was very pleased with the service and Choice quick response on my need to have my HVAC fixed as I had not heat and the temperatures were in the low 30s.

Very pleased. TECH WAS VERY GOOD AND NEW INSTALL WAS COMPLETED IN A TIMELY FASHION. Would recommend to everyone I know. Installers were very good as well and cleaned up afterwards, Still waiting for heat strips to be installed. Waiting for a call back.

Experience quite good. I spoke to Maurice, and he was extremely helpful. He took the time to explaining the various plans and introduced me to the Veteran's plan which allowed me to save a bit of money. I cannot comment on the services which have been advertised because I have not used them. Hopefully they will be as good as advertised.

Todd was great. Honest about my situation and understood that I just brought the house so running to order a new HVAC would be difficult. He provided my options without being pushy. He was patient and informative. I will consider using the company when getting my new HVAC system because I don't think it will be an overwhelming process.

Hot water was repaired. It was discovered that the showerhead was not working. The salesman (Eric) said someone would come to install the showerhead. I am still waiting. I have not heard anything from the company and don’t know how to contact them.

I've been having furnace problems and my furnace quit on a Thursday night. At 3:30 in the morning I got up and I placed the complaint online with Choice Home Warranty. The very next morning my representative called me and not long after that the heating and air person called me to schedule a time. They got in here at my earliest convenience, knew what they were doing, told me what was wrong with the furnace, said he'd have to order the part and he would be back but he did get my furnace working for me before he left.

Because of getting no CHW service on 2 previous claims, we thought they weren't sending us anyone for this 3rd claim so after waiting a bit, my husband had someone fix the garage door. Then CHW sent an appointment, which we had to cancel.

Needed to fix the washer, it wasn't draining water out. Thanks to the tech. He did a great job ordering the parts and come back and fixed it. Now is working good. After replacing the old part with the new parts.

This warranty and warranty company is fake and deceptive. Although the technician THIS time (this is my second claim for the same issue because the first tech lied and said he would bring the part back later but never showed up again), the company’s rate of paying claims is low and their denial of claims very high. The listed item says all parts and components. But the company denied the claim saying it’s not under normal wear and tear. How does a component wear out and it not be normal when it’s not something a person could ever get to to damage it.
This is the third claim I’ve had with this company and all have been denied. This was the first time a reputable technician came to complete service. For all other claims, the techs showed up in personal vehicles, one was dressed all the way up to inspect an ac unit. No business cards or any way of verifying their businesses. Would definitely not recommend and will not be renewing.

In the process of trying to understand the different coverages the fast talking person kept saying it’s a great deal which I agree it is but not in my budget BUT then he charged my card and said, "That’s what you wanted." I said NO. He proceeds to transfer me to Resolution Team and says good luck in getting the charge reversed? What kind of business is this?

I contacted this firm with questions about their services for Veteran Homeowners. I was very pleased with the answers they gave me. Choice Home Warranty scheduled the appointment time. I waited for the technician from Desert Rain Plumbing to arrive. A complete "No show". I contacted Desert Rain. I was informed that the warranty company does not schedule their appointments, therefore, they had to reschedule to an additional date & time. Two days later to be exact. Half of day from work was wasted on Monday, and another half a day from work was wasted on Wednesday. Completely dissatisfied.

I had to use the reimbursement method to resolve my claim which I really didn't mind; But considering that I had a water leak it took your claims department too long to offer that option. I did not like speaking to people who cannot speak English and offered only the standard response to my situation. I had to absolutely insist on speaking with a Supervisor. However once I was finally forwarded to a Supervisor (Eric) things got resolved and he was very helpful. Hopefully my reimbursement will be processed in a timely manner.

It’s not you directly. But those that represent in the field are not the best. Plus on you is you not replacing with like items. You replace with cheap plastic parts. Plus you double charge if access is needed in a wall. One contractor for plumbing fix than another for the wall fix. But your direct customer service is excellent..

We called for a repair on the water heater. They made an appointment immediately. The company then called and had an opening a day earlier and asked if they could come. The tech provided 10+ service. The service was amazing by both Choice and the plumbing company. The Plumbing Tech was amazing!

He was very helpful to explain what would happen. But I have an emergency and they are not coming until Thur. When I called Sunday 1/21/23. My food can spoil before they get there. I also had an electrical problem that also needs to addressed.

The technician was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and skilled. He did a great job re-keying our doors. He couldn’t have been a nicer person, which made the experience all the better. The main door lock was broken which took time and skill to repair. He obviously had many years of experience and was able to explain in detail what would need to be done. I would highly recommend A1 Locks!

Demain, my repair guy, stayed for 3 hours to properly diagnose and fix my A/C unit. Very dedicated and methodical in diagnosing the problem. Just had another company look at the unit. They said it couldn't be fixed. I'll be switching to this company as my regular A/C maintenance people.

When I submitted a new claim for an electrical problem the service CHW provided was fast & good. The service company repair person came out quickly and figured out what was wrong and fixed it very quickly. I would strongly recommend CHW to any of our friends who need help.

We had a leak under the sink. Looked like it was from the water filter. Assigned a tech the next day. Choice would not replace the water filter. Why send out a tech then? We could have just went forward on our own without the service call.

I had to find a plumber to repair/replaced my Flushmate in my commode that stopped working. I filed a claim with your company and your company would/or could not find a plumber for me. I waited two days without being able to use my toilet. I paid in full a policy to do that work for me. Now, I am told that I would not be reimbursed for my $642 for the repairs done by the plumber. This is the second time I have had an issue with your company finding a contractor for me. I was not giving your company any stars. 5 Stars goes to the plumber that came out to do the work. Nates Plumbing Company gets the 5 Stars not you...I am requesting that your company refund me my money back from this policy.

Mr. ** was prompt, very experienced, and professional. He called back and set the appointment that was 30 minute range not four hours range. Once arrived, he found the issue with water leak under the kitchen sink right away and fixed it. I will definitely call him again.

My furnace had flashed an error code and I was informed by an HVAC company the furnace was in need of major repairs. I wanted a second opinion and was pleasantly surprised at the ease of scheduling a maintenance call thru Choice Warranty to check the issue. The technician was very helpful! He explained the situation, tested the unit in various ways, replaced two failing switches that were and showed me how to recognize if the furnace actually had serious problems. To be short and sweet, you definitely need live agents. It is so difficult to speak to a robot. I was most happy with my service technician. It should not take 2 weeks to make the necessary repairs. My issue was with my washer. Fortunately, I do not have a houseful of kids to do laundry for. You should reimburse funds needed to go to a laundromat. I guess I'm saying you need to be more personal with your customer service. It may cost you more but you would reap the benefits.

We were having a problem with our Dishwasher not working. We sent in a request and we had someone out to the house in about 3 days. The Nice gentleman told me that we were not getting and power to it and he could not do anything else. So Choice Warranty is sending an Electrician out at no charge to us. I have had Home Owners insurance since I purchased my home 3 years ago and I used my old company a few times but Choice has made it the process so much better and easier than I could ever imagine. It's easy to make claims and they schedule you within a day. Most of appointments have been within 5 days and if I call the service technician they have been able to schedule me in earlier. So far I would truly recommend this company; they have been great.

Faucets replaced was OK. Technician that did work was knowledgeable and efficient. Would recommend Choice Home Warranty to other friends and family members. My experience with choice home warranty has been great so far or I should say has been as good as to be expected. So far no complaints. In others words my service has been timely. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with customer service ever. The technician was pleasant to work with. CHW felt like the issue. We have a family of 6 we have no hot water. Our water heater is under warranty both by CHW and manufacturer. Technician was ready to do the work but couldn’t get approval from CHW. CHW was asking for a report which I don’t have and was never given. The technician sent the report through his portal and is also waiting to hear back from CHW. I was in communication with CHW but they simply kept asking for a report I don’t have. And they kept replying the same way. I let them know I had no inspection report and the technician had already submitted his report. They however 3 different times replied, "Please upload inspection report." And never addressed my actual comments. It was super frustrating. And honestly made me feel like I was just getting run around.
I tried calling but their customer service line wait was long, so I chose the service for them to call me back. I did miss their call back but immediately called them back and received the message they were closed. Currently, we are in a worse spot and our water heater is completely shot and looks like our family is going to have to go another weekend without hot water.

My gas water heater pilot light went off. I tried to light same with no success. Call Choice and set-up a service call. The only problem I have is the length of response to my problem. I called in problem on 1/11/23, I didn't get a response to service until 1/12/23, and worst was it was scheduled for 1/16/23. This is (5) days to actually accomplish the service, too long a delay.

It was made aware to me that there is a high cost on my part for everything that I thought was to be a no cost addition to my repairs. Both plumbing projects came out to total $800.00. Which I feel in having a home warranty is excessive. After my $65.00 payment for each event the warranty should have picked up the rest. It’s like paying regular fees with the addition of my paying for the home warranty itself.

I am not impressed with CHW at all. I’ve ordered and have worked with several home warranty companies in the past and this is the first time I have used CHW. They came with my personal home when I purchased it. As a top producing Real Estate agent I would NOT recommend them to any of my clients. In fact, home warranties came up in a meeting and my brokerage has also heard several complaints about them and also would not recommend them as well. Unfortunately, my warranty came with the house and will be moving to another company after it expires.
My personal experience with them was a water softener claim that took 6 months because all four technicians told CHW that it couldn’t be fix but needed to be replaced. I had to call them almost every day since I filed the claim. I filed another claim on my dishwasher and since the technician said that it needed to be repaired with a new motor. They canceled with that company and reassigned it to another company. Oh… and good luck trying to get a supervisor. You can ask for one but it will take a few days for them to call back without any notice of a time frame. If you miss the call you have to wait another several days! Haha! That was probably the most frustrating part.
Now I have sales reps calling to have me renew my contract. After telling them that I don’t think I’m interested his response was “Should I hang up on you now or transfer you to someone else.” I said, "I guess you can hang up" and he did. Their customer service is top notch for trying not to care at all. For the most part, I’m not saying to not use them. I’m just saying to take the time and research them. If you’re an agent out there looking to order them for a client I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere.
I know that this is long and drawn out but I just wanted to give a few examples of why not to use them. There is always two sides to every story and I’m sure they’ll have a response to what I’m trying to warn everyone about. I just wanted to give everyone who is thinking about CHW or new agents out there looking to buy their clients a home warranty to really think twice and check the reviews.

After running water in the sink upstairs I went to the basement for something and noticed water coming up from the laundry room drain and it wasn't draining back down. I opened a claim with my home warranty company, Choice Home Warranty, and they told me they would email me information on the company and time they would be there as soon as they were able to schedule someone. Didn't hear anything until evening when I got an email giving me the option of scheduling my own repair and be reimbursed minus my fixed payment required. I contacted a local company who had someone there in a couple of hours and removed the clog. When I received my invoice from plumbing company I uploaded it to Choice and shortly afterward they approved my repayment and a check is scheduled to be sent. Everything went smoothly and I am impressed by their option of getting the repairman myself. I am very happy with the way everything was handled.

We had contacted our local appliance service company who informed us that they worked with Choice Warranty. They were able to be at our house in 3 days. We contacted Choice and gave them the info. Choice however refused to work with them and assigned a Sears service person more than a week out. We did not understand this or appreciate the extended time before service was provided.
The Sears service person was professional, appeared to know what he was doing and replaced a part which presumably fixed the problem. So far the washer has been operating with no problems. I don't know why Choice is so difficult to work with. I had a previous situation with my air conditioner which Choice never did respond to. I had to get it repaired on my own after several days of trying to get a response from Choice. Bottom line, my experience is spotty.

Too much automation. There should be an option to speak to someone before channeling us to complete a claim. Similarly, when a contractor does a good job, the default is to review Choice Warranty, not the contractor. Therefore, no mechanism to review the contractor. This needs to be separated. Choice should not be blamed or get credit for the contractor.

One star chosen because you won't let me choose zero star rating. First my hvac had issues 4 months after my disabled wife and I bought this house and then your contractor told me the whole system had to be replaced because the problems were more than just one part of the system being ok to fix and your warranty rules dictate complete replacement which seemed good until you told me I couldn't pay extra for a better system than you would provide so now I have a system half a ton smaller capacity than was in the house and it operates worse than what I had, it now being colder when it should be warmer and hotter when it should be colder. When it goes below about 40 degrees the system couldn't get but within 3 degrees of the set temperature.
I thought your contractor would call me to arrange for a pre-winter checkup to make sure everything was working properly but they never called so I went up in the attic to see if there were any obvious problems and there was an oily substance on the copper pipe coming out of the air handler so I initiated a claim and you sent out the contractor who installed the new hvac system who told me there was a leak and I said that must have been going on since the installation 6+ months ago and I shouldn't have to pay for a defective workmanship issue but they said since I had a Choice Home Warranty, they only warranty their workmanship for 90 days. SO because I didn't go looking for defect problems starting on the day the hvac was installed, I had to pay $85 to fix a problem that was caused by a defect and should never have happened!
I can't believe the horrible treatment I have received from every business I have hired since buying this house, especially when my wife is disabled and we pay so much for healthcare that it makes our wages piddly and we live from paycheck-to-paycheck and are always only a week or two from being homeless if there is a large unforeseen unnecessary expense like if this system fails again or a major appliance breaks down even though it is all less than a year old. If our roof gets blown off and the insurance and/or you don't cover it, we will be homeless.
Every time I try to call you and need to speak to a representative, I always get the run-around and almost always can't understand the English of representatives working halfway around the world for whom English is a second language. No offense to my fellow human beings anywhere on the planet, but your company should make sure you have phone personnel who speak the English language clearly or provide digital read-out of printed text translation in real-time while on the phone so that the customer isn't left wondering what was said as I almost always am. Also, I have been hung up on while asking questions and still trying to understand why situations were handled on your end the ways they were. I have given up trying to get information from you anymore unless I absolutely HAVE to call if something breaks down.
As it is, with my hvac system, I will be paying a contractor of my choice to check out my system twice a year because I would rather pay more for someone who will fix their own mistakes in workmanship. I have spent hours of my life trying to communicate with your company and the only seemingly good interaction I ever had was when a representative named Elizabeth sold me the policy. It has been a nightmare ever since.

Mr ** is an excellent Representative. He explained the program in detail. I moved 3 properties to Choice from American Homeshield. AHS is a terrible company, Mr. ** explained how CHOICE is better. He is my Concierge and will answer the phone and effect repairs within 24 hours, AHS representatives are in the Philippines and don't answer and are otherwise clueless. AHS often bungle repairs and denies coverage.

My hot water heater burst and flooded my master bedroom closet. I woke up to this on a Saturday (January 7) and called CHW to file a claim. Plumber came Tueaday morning. All communication from CHW is through email which added two days to the process because they went to spam. As you know, the warranty company replaces only the water heater. I was provided an email with the cost of replacement of the hoses, valves, etc., but no explanation or invoice. When I called CHW on Thursday to get more information on the additional costs, I was referred to the vendor. After talking with them and receiving a detailed invoice, I tapped the button in the email accepting the cost. That Friday (end of week 1), I contacted the vendor for a status update and was told they were waiting on CHW to send the water heater. (Say, huh?)
On calling CHW for an update, I was informed that I had refused the replacement; but I could accept it at that moment, and the water heater would be ordered on Monday or Tuesday. If I did nothing, the claim would sit until I accepted the charges. This Tuesday, I received an email from CHW saying my install was scheduled for 10 days later which will place us without hot water for 3 weeks. I called today (Thursday) to get confirmation from the plumber because the email didn't come from them and was informed that they couldn't confirm anything because they were still waiting on the water heater.
As a single mom of two teenage daughters, hot water is a necessity. For the price of hotels, fuel to shower at friends' and families' homes, and the warranty itself, I'm not seeing the benefit of having the warranty. And as the water heater is still leaking stored water, all other repairs are on hold until it is replaced. Hopefully, we'll have hot water before February. I can't see myself renewing the policy.

I do not think it is fair that Choice Warranty gives a gift card for one store which is Lowe's and they are a partner with Choice Warranty so I have to shop at Lowe's to make my replacement of a appliance. They should give me the option where to purchase and locate the best price. The agent stated I could not appeal the decision and because this was the final step. According to their manual there is a mediation process.

It takes a long time to finally get a technician for a claim. After the technician reports the problem, CHW will not cover it or replace it. This is typical of CHW. My stomach burns every time I need to make a claim with CHW. The most recent technician just showed up at my door without CHW sending me a notice telling me they found someone. I never received a notice telling me of a date and time a technician would show up. However, I was just glad to see someone come to help so I invited him in. He did a good job at finding the problem but as stated before CHW would not cover the problem. But that is what I expected. I have a refrigerator leaking water all over the floor but I don't put a claim in because I don't expect CHW to cover it and we can't afford to fix it. This is just typical of claims with CHW.

On a Friday morning we woke up to a lot of water in out garage. Turn out to be our water heater. I placed a claim with CHW. A tech showed up at our house at 7pm to access the issue. He shutdown the power to the heater to stop the leak. The tech decided not to complete the work, buy CHW assigned another tech and we got a new water heater install within the week. New tech was very knowledgeable and kept the area clean. First time I had to use a claim and it went very smooth. I will recommend them to my family and friends.

Response to inquiries about home warranty was prompt. Previous Co. had increased premiums by 9% which drove me to your company. The 6 year pre-paid plan locking in the annual cost was a perfect solution for me. This will insure no unreasonable price increases in the years ahead. This was important as I am on a fixed budget.

If your covered item has to be replaced then it's pro-rated. Unlike other coverages that offer the amount paid. Choice offers a third of the cost of a new one. Subtract the $75 deductible and it's even less. I've filed 3 claims on the same appliance within 6 months. Paid deductibles twice and finally it was determined that it's a lemon and had to be replaced. Was offered a $343 Lowe's gift card. Subtract the $150 in deductibles that equates to $193 toward a replacement. Just not a good value to me.

The service I received from the company was ridiculous. It took close to a month to get my problem fixed. The first tech did not have correct equipment to do the job but of course I still had to pay. I received no record or receipt from them. Then Choice chose to assign this same company 2 more times delaying my repairs. I finally received notice that another company had been chosen and that experience was a good one but I'm very disappointed in Choice.

I had to wait a while to get a company and did get a letter letting me know about the review. San Antonio Plumbing company is one I have worked with before. They agreed to come in the very next day and submitted to take on the claim. They came in and I paid my amount and the job was fixed very quickly and I was 100% satisfied. Since then, I received two emails from CHW saying I had a date after the item has already been repaired and then saying that SA Plumbing had refused the job (which they did not). I called and was told that I refused that company (which is not true). It was finally fixed. I had another claim before that and I did request that that company not return because the tech came in, simply looked at the toilet and said "You need a new toilet" and took our check and left. So, please do not send that company again from the request I made before this one. Please note that SA Plumbing was great!

I have not complained because I hate to do so but you all are asking and I am now explaining the last straw of my discontent with the company. I had a good phone conversation with a manager. I heard what she had to say and although I didn’t agree with the payout of “replacing the dishwasher” the manager was pleasant. I’m just going to leave this at this because she was clear what the contract read and I was not going to receive more than that. I gave “her” a 7 and not the company a 7. I will not recommend this company and when my contract is over I will not continue with the company. I have one more year with you all and then we can part our ways. Until then I pray nothing else goes wrong with my appliances.

Happy with the service and response of Choice Warranty. They have been punctual with getting appointments of technician and getting the issue resolved. Have had other warranty services before, but this one came highly recommended and has proved to be valuable and worthy of contract.

The tech who came in to fix our washer was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. I would highly recommend his service. I just submitted another service request for my GE dryer and hope to get the same repair tech.

They did a good job finding out what was wrong with the hot water heater. That was pretty fast about getting the hot water heater replaced and put back in. They cleaned up the mess. They arrive on time and worked with me on the time to get the hot water heater for I work a lot.

This was the first time a true professional service technician came to diagnose the problem. Need more companies like this when submitting a claim. They were on time, courteous, and professional. EMS is the only company I’ve ever been able to find on the internet and see more about their company and services. CHW needs to contract with more companies like this vs. little unknown and unprofessional companies who go by 12 different names.

Some circuits in our rental home were not operational. Repairs were done the very same day. My renters were very impressed at the service received. Called in late am. Issues were resolved by early pm. Only cost was the deductible.

Took two weeks to get someone to come and look at my water heater, and five minutes to deny coverage. I'm really starting to doubt if paying for a home warranty is really even worth it. I highly doubt once my current contract expires that I will renew it again. Not much point if what breaks isn't covered.

Excellent customer service by the Choice Home Warranty representative, Warranty call person, HVAC company contact person and their technician. We were contacted the next day and were taken care of ASAP. We had an issue with what our coverage provided and the Rep. stepped in and got everything fixed within an hour. Not what I expected. I think the appliance fixed at least five times should have been trashed long ago. I spent way too much in deductibles to only receive $343. to replace the appliance. The technician went above and beyond all of the visits he came to my home.

I made the claim and within an hour had a appointment with a repair person. He came out 3 days later, look at the ice maker and determined what the problem is. A part has been ordered and he will cone back and fix it!

My technician was knowledgeable and very helpful. He completed the work order and exceeded my expectations. I was able to use my central heat and air unit once he finished. This was extremely helpful due to the freezing temperatures on my area. The company was extremely prompt in sending a technician to my home as well.

After 2 tech and now a Plumber, you are asking me to pay $455 to the Plumber when my contract with you only require me to pay $45. I’ve paid $90 so far and this last Plumber says you aren’t paying them totally to install a new hot water tank. So now they want me to pay for materials you won’t cover or they will not install the tank. It’s now over 2 months and your Company refuses to honor your contract with me.

Both the dryer and dishwasher were fixed in one visit. My tenant is satisfied with the work and so am I. The dryer needed a belt and the dishwasher needed new wheels. Good work by the tech company and Choice Home warranty.

I came home one evening to find that my refrigerator had stopped cooling. I submitted a claim that same evening around 7:00 P.M. and immediately received an email confirming my claim. By 8:00 A.M. the next morning, I had already been set up for a service repair that same morning for 10:00. The service agent was AWESOME, he quickly found the problem and ordered the repair parts while still at my house. I've had to submit a couple claims in the past and have always had the same outcome. Choice Home Warranty is the best!

It took a month and a day or two. Before Choice Home Warranty was able to find a contractor to replace my garage disposal. It took the repair man two hours to complete the job. The repairman did a good job.

FRAUDULENT!!! I had to pay $2,100.00 out of my pocket for a new pool pump after being told it wasn’t covered. Go to find out, IT WAS COVERED AT THE TIME I WAS TOLD IT WASN'T!! Oh, they wanted to send me a check for $250.00 to make up for their lie! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER “RESOLUTION SERVICE” on behalf of Terrance W. STAY AWAY!!! Much better, HONEST companies out there.

Frist when you talk to a customer service to claim anything, they say it covers what's in the plan. For example, plumbing, no matter how old it is then they want proof of an inspection report. So many excuses so they won't cover the repair. They as so good in collect the money, just wouldn't pay for this insurance again.

My system failed and Choice replaced the whole outside unit. I paid the connection and inside costs. The installation was very professional and clean. I cannot ask for a more friendly service. I did have to use Emergency heat while waiting for parts. Home warranty. Came through. This all happened at New years weekend.

I have been out of water for four days. I have yet to be informed of a technician who can help. I have offered to get my own technician and to send the bill to Choice but they only allowed $80 reimbursement. After spending almost $6000 for the policy I find this unacceptable.

In the past I have not had good service from Choice Home Warranty as I have had to wait for up to two months for service, then when I opted for reimbursement procedure, my claim was closed and had to be reopened. But my last experience was perfect!

I really appreciate how easy and affordable the claims process is. I've heard horror stories about never being able to get in touch with someone and getting the run around at other home warranty companies - but I've NEVER had that experience with Choice.

The Tech was great. He was friendly, fast, and explained the situation well. However, our AC was 2lbs low on refrigerant, and rather than add a leak stop to it, Choice Home Warranty decided to forgo that small extra cost "this time" and would require another visit should the refrigerant be low again, which was disappointing, as it would require another visit potentially, and another deductible payment.

The person taking my case and the technician were very good; however, that is where my positive experience ended! I seemed to be caught in a catch 22. The tech advised that it was the compressor on the fridge but CHW would not cover because it was still under warranty with LG but LG would not cover because I was not the original purchaser of this 4 year old fridge. Feel that the CHW program was a waste of money and I ended up paying more for the service call than other providers would have charged. Overall I would recommend that people avoid this coverage.

Very confusing to me & my daughter? One Co. Called & said, "We WILL be coming to fix" my tank!. Next comes an email, they cancelled! I turned my water off for whole house for days, because of the tank leaking! I know there was another Co. was on the making, but nothing happened! So my daughter got a Co. to come & turn my tank off & the gas. This way I could use water finally throughout the house! His name was John, he took pictures and planning to contact Choice warranty. He was so concerned about my health, because I am a senior in my seventies. My daughter said, "Give them a review, when all is done, Mom!"

The initial arrival of the technician to evaluate the failure left a lot to be desire and so was the visit to replace it. However, the professionalism, courtesy and respect in dealing with the technician in both occasions, was something to appreciate. He answer all my questions and describe the options available in an honest and respectful manner. Once arrived, the removal and installation was done quickly and efficiently. Old parts and debris were nicely removed. Great experience!

The repair was made 3 days after the original appointment. Didn't hear from the repairman the 2nd day but he did show up at 7:30 pm the third day. He was very polite and worked hard to resolve the problem, which he did. I would recommend him despite the failure to meet the original appointment day and time.
