The technician Giovanni, identified the problem, placed order for parts, explained why it happened and scheduled an appointment for the next visit. He was in contact with me before arriving via email. The estimated time of arrival was accurate.

Can’t get the focal point (Phil **/Sales) to call me back concerning 2 Service Calls currently in the system. I need for him or his manager/boss to call me ASAP at **. We need to setup a service call for a Gladiator that Phil assured me he added to the LG Claim… NOT DONE & needs to be ASAP so tech can repair on Friday 2/24/23.

Contacted Choice by going online and filed a claim. Choice contacted us that afternoon. Contractor came out and fixed problem by end of day. Was very pleased with response time from Choice and contractor. That's all I have to say about that.

I contacted Choice in the morning and Gifted Air serviced my air conditioner that afternoon. Not only was the service prompt, but it solved my problem. I have no complaints and highly recommend Choice and Gifted Air. If you are on the fence about Choice Home Warranty, there is no need as they are helpful and prompt when service is needed.

Caveat Emptor! After 3 years with these people, they are the single worst excuse for a service company I have ever encountered. I will be reporting them to BBB & my state's regulators for their attempts to intimidate me, discourage the claims process & generally seek to avoid honoring the contract they made to repair/replace damaged covered items. DO NOT do business with these people!

Phil was awesome. He explained everything to us. He was patient with all my questions even told us about different options Flo’s rate wouldn’t change as we got older. He was very knowledgeable about the services and what is covered under the warranty. Also said if we had questions feel free to call back so our over all experience was exceptional thanks to Phil.

Tech came in evaluated problem & told me what was needed to solve it. He was straight to the point, I like that. He did a damn good job. All I needed was a new thermostat.. He seen that the previous owner's info was still present & couldn't be deleted. So he walked me through and showed me what the issue was and how to fix it. He also checked my outside unit and told me that it was good. After that he left.

Integrity Air Conditioning Services serviced my A/C problem. The technician, Jacob, was outstanding. He very quickly analyzed the problem (faulty blower motor) and replaced it with a new one that he had in his truck. He was done with the job in less than an hour. He was professional, competent, and very friendly. He took time to explain everything to me. He is a great representative of Integrity Air. Choice Home Warranty also did an excellent job administering this service call. Their technology is excellent. They receive an inquiry and get back to me with a scheduled technician within a couple of hours.

This business is a basically a scam. You sell the illusion of replacement when you will fix something over and over and only replace it as a very last resort. I had a refrigerator gasket wear out from just wear and tear. Not Covered. However because that door does not seal the motor keeps working, If that goes I wonder if that would be covered. If yes, I'm sure its much more costly. Would have been smart to replace a less expensive gasket as preventive maintenance. Now I have an AC issue. You authorize the repair but want $500 for Warranty return and a lift required to install. My regular AC people told me the Warranty return is $75 and the cost to replace the unit is going to be whatever the freon cost is between $300 & $400. You people are the worst. Wouldn't recommend you ever.

Our furnace went out on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. It took until Friday, February 10th to get a repairman out to look at my furnace. He recommended replacing the furnace because he couldn't get the parts, so CHW wanted a second opinion. After some phone calls I finally got someone out but had to fight with them because they wanted me to pay a second service fee of $65 which I refused because CHW wanted the second opinion not me. When I called CHW they lied to me when they said they sent to the new company that the charge would be $0. Then I had the call the furnace company again because they weren't going to come out until they got notice from CHW that it would be $0.
I had to call CHW again to get it resolved. So after all that I finally got my furnace repaired after 14 days without heat. Fortunately, most of the days were fairly warm for February and our fireplace was able to keep us warm in the main part of the house. Bottom line, I am very disappointed with the service I got because it took way too much hassle and way too long to complete. At this point, I couldn't recommend CHW for home warranty service.

My hot water tank failed to produce hot water, I called Choice and explained the situation, they contacted a plumber and he was dispatched to evaluate the situation. He determined that tank was not repairable and a new tank was necessary. That Friday 2/17 and I am waiting for an answer from Choice. The technician failed to send his report on 2/17, hence the delay.

Tech Colleen is rated 1000 by my Wife and I. She has the Patience of Job and the Wisdom of Solomon. She repaired a very troublesome problem with our telephone and TV (3). Other Tech could not correct the problems.

The 2 repair men called and said they were on their way. I was very pleased with the call but failed to ask long it would take for them to arrive which happened to be an hour. They were very polite and got right to work diagnosing the problem with my refrigerator. They replaced the compressor and left the old one but did not give us directions as to disposal. I cannot give you their names because an order sheet was not left with me as to the work done. I was also quoted several times the service charge would be $55 especially by the person on the phone who I gave my charge card # to. I was charged $65. I do not know what brand of compressor was installed or if there is any kind of warranty. There was also 3 small dents made on the side & front door when it was moved out or put back in the refrigerator space . The repairmen were very polite & clean.

Hello, I have been waiting a month or more for someone to come and fix the ice maker on my fridge. The 1st one came & I paid them the $65 fee and they never returned, then they sent the next one out after a few calls & they left saying they needed a part. My wife and I have called Choice warranty & all I hear is them asking us to get a new warranty, which we don't want to because they won't pay for the part and repair. They keep telling me that they need to tell the worker that we already paid for the deductible for the job. That's nonsense. Thank you.

I was given a 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. service window on a Saturday by Choice warranty. Received the call from the vendor at 9 a.m. that the response would be between 9 and 11 a.m. Arrival was 1020 a.m. No checks, $5 service fee if credit card utilized or cash payment, paper receipt. Toilet works great, service team (polite and great), found out the flapper I had done through Choice in Sept. was old and worn (hmm). That answered my question of the new vendor. Approved to be replace again as well along with current issue. All in all... satisfied.

Our service rep, Dewey with 417MARS was excellent. Kept us informed of his arrival time. Was very courteous and professional. He explained what to do and not do to keep our disposal operating.. Dewey showed us how to clean our disposal of debris by turning the disposal from the bottom with a key.

My furnace went out and I'm not home to see when it stopped working. My neighbor was checking my house. Gave me a date and I forgot it. I gave you a date that I thought it was. You refused to listen to what I said. It may have been another date. I think I had 3 yrs with you and a mistake on a date is something you won't forgive.

We have yet to review funds for the stove. And it’s been 7 weeks. Also you don’t pay out the value of the microwave and stove. I’ve been without a microwave and stove for approximate 10 weeks. Microwave you didn’t Pat out have and have recipes funds for stove. This is very disturbing. Our policy is up for renewal and it’s not looking good. We will shop elsewhere.

Drainage Stoppages, Lizard on a Ladder from Swansboro did an excellent job in solving the problem. Excellent customer service, I highly recommend them. If I was the CEO of Choice Home Warranty I would do whatever it takes to keep that business servicing all my clients. I live in Lagrange, I wish they would expand to Wayne County.

The person who came out, arrived during the time we were told. Went straight to work and found the problem. He needed our copay, apart, and permission from you. We gave him the copay, and he sent a request to proceed from you. He told us when he was authorized to proceed, he would return and finish the job the next day. He also told us you would send us a message saying that the job was approved, that never happened. When nothing happened, I tried to contact you but couldn't. He returned the third day and quickly fixed our machine.

Everything went okay, just had a little communication problem with confirming appointment with the technician but finally I able to get hold of him to validate our appointment. He said it didn’t get to him that I have exactly the appointment date and time validate and there’s problems with his cellphone- didn’t pick up my calls and message. But my garbage disposal issue were fixed… He had good attitude.

We had power such as timer and light but turntable and microwave itself (COOKING ABILITY) did NOT work. Angel the tech came at the appointed time, did a diagnosis, replaced a switch but that did NOT fix the problem. Further diagnosis revealed the motherboard was gone. He explained the process in detail and today I got a email from Choice stating the repair would be completed on 3 Mar 2023 as parts were available. I thank everyone from Choice: from the call center to the repairman for their expertise in handling my claim in a timely manner. A truly professional company that I am glad I joined many years ago.

The same technician was sent for both repairs tho I still had to pay two copays. Parts had to be ordered for both but I am very pleased with the manner in which my claim was handled as well as with the technician they sent. The tech thought the refrigerator would be finished next week.

The warranty service request to repair the refrigerator was originally filed over six months ago. You assigned the job to “Sears.” The technician failed to show on the scheduled date. This was particularly frustrating because you required someone to be here from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The technician did arrive on the second appointment. He (don’t recall his name) looked at the refrigerator and said he had to order parts. He never returned. I contacted Choice after waiting several months for someone to return with parts and complete the repair. When I did, I was told the case had been closed. I explained what transpired with the original technician and you reopened the case.
The technician who came said there was no problem, that we were not closing the doors correctly. I pointed out that the doors were not aligned properly as the left door was about 1/8 inch higher than the right door. He inspected the hinges and said the left door was not adjustable and the right door couldn’t be adjusted enough to even them. Since he couldn’t repair the refrigerator, you owe me a replacement. In conclusion, you failed to uphold your end of the warranty. Therefore, expect a refund of the balance of the contract. After discussing this with another home appliance warranty service, I know your Better Business Bureau rating is B.

We had a heating problem & Choice referred us to Olive Air & Heating. Oliver came out quickly, assessed the problem and came back with the parts to fix things. Repairman was sent to assess non-working cooktop. He said he would need to replace left side elements and would order parts. Then I received an email that you would be replacing instead and offered $372 to do so. Total joke. The cheapest cooktop at Lowe's is $650 on sale from $800. I spoke to Victoria, a case manager, and explained this. She came back and said the most I would get is $630 which is the value of my cooktop. My cooktop is a GE Profile with downdraft vent. That is $2500 replacement value. Next, it costs an additional $130 to have installed, which I was told Choice does not do. That's just the cherry on top. So, when I get the absolute cheapest, bottom of the line, cooktop, with no exhaust, I will be sure to thank Choice Home Warranty when the laminate peels off my cabinets.

Our experience with the service call hasn't been that great. In the event of emergencies if the technician does not accept the service call, what's the point of purchasing the home warranty. Choice increased the service call fees recently.

I have confidence in the repairman that has represented Choice many times to my house. He is knowledgeable and friendly. He was here a week ago. He told me I needed a new dishwasher. His visit before this last one he said I needed a new dishwasher. I said to repair it and let’s see what happens to it. In a minute nth I had him back. I have called Choice twice and sent an email. They say the repairman has not sent in his paperwork for approval. I need a dishwasher. Please HELP!

Customer service was very polite, the claim is done quickly, the appointment for the garage water heater was done. When the tankless water heater broke you only cover one water heater, so 1st claim was canceled. There are two claims waiting to be fixed. #** tankless water heater & #** HVAC. As of 2/11/23 I have no hot water. As of 2/16/23 I have no HVAC that works. All I get is cold air and fan doesn't turn off. So it runs constantly and that is running my electric bill up with nothing to show for it.

The staff at CHW are always very polite whenever I happens to call them. In communication with them, there's always an indication that they are very professional and knowledgeable in their field of work. However, I would recommend that C.H.W carefully screen those companies before contracting them because l have an existing problem with one that did a very bad job for me in the installation of my Air Condition system. These are the ones that will damage the good reputation of C.H.W.

I had a little problem getting someone on the phone to place the claim. Once that was done I was given a claim number and received an email stating company name and telephone number who will be coming to do the job. The technician came the next day a little later than expected because he was delayed at the previous job. Charles, the technician was very thorough and took care of the leak and the clogged kitchen and shower drain.

For Choice, I give 1 star! But for the technician who repaired my furnace, I give 4 stars!!!! My furnace has been giving me problems for a few weeks now. It began with the fan/motor making loud, strange noises. When the tech came out, he said it did sound like there was a problem, and will probably go out, but that he couldn't replace it because Choice won't authorize it UNLESS it is completely out. So that was the 1st call, and $$ gone. The noise reoccurred again, contacted Choice, and the next tech said the same thing: Can't do anything about replacing the motor/fan until it stops working...another service call fee ($$) down the drain.
3rd time, I was without heat for 2 days - extremely cold in my home - because the fan/motor DID go out (as was predicted on the FIRST visit), and was finally replaced. The technician knew it the 1st time he came. But because Choice WON'T do anything unless your equipment or appliances goes completely out!!! Shame on you Choice. I had to waste money - 2 different times, as well as be in a cold house for 2 days. You need to revise your guidelines for repairing faulty appliances!!!!

The heater was being flakey ... Not responding to the temperature sensors? The repair guy (Ivan) looked at the controller, said that wasn't it ... Then went up into the attic, spent about 10 minutes looking at the furnace ... and bingo ... it was back working. Ivan explained that there was some oxidation preventing the sensors from working ... And that the furnace would go into timed shutdowns. Ivan did great ... Took only 20 minutes altogether. This warranty experience was very agreeable ... And well worth the $65 call fee.

I understand not repairing the ice maker due to recall from Samsung; however the fridge was not cooling at that point (losing milk before expiration date) and now it is definitely not cooling as I lost all milk and some canned biscuits.

Would not cover the repairs. I probably made a mistake getting home warranty from Choice. To clear a clog in the line most plumbing companies go through the toilet drain. I already had the toilet pulled. The plumber needed to use a camera to find the problem in order to fix the sewer line. I had to pay out pocket to run the camera.

Gas heater went out. We have relatives staying for the week. Needed quick service and or reply. Very cold, children and older, elderly relatives to account for. I located repair and couldn't wait for CHW to make contract and identify. Paid 630 for repairs. Won't be reimbursed because there was no time to wait through CHW red tape and guidelines. There is a lack of empathy for families in dire situations. My warranty comes to a close very soon and I more than likely WILL NOT be sign with this company ever again. This is the 3rd time I have paid for work my warranty company should have paid for!!

After a frustrating start with a leaking bathtub faucet, CHW sent Ronnie from C & L Plumbing. He was a thorough professional and very polite. He used several different tools and finally even went to buy a large plumbing wrench to tackle the job. He really "bulldogged" the effort and was successful. He did a nice cleanup job. I was so impressed with the job that I have decided to hire him back for a software tank installation.

Both the technician from OSP Mathew and Renato were amazing, professional and competent. Problem correctly diagnosed by Mathew and moved from a water heater issue to a plumbing issue which required a second visit. Renato fixed the heating issue in my son's bathroom.

The receptionist was very helpful and accommodating. I have broken glass in a drawer of my fridge to be replaced. She informed me this would not be covered, which I think is unfair. I mean, you have insurance on your car, it’s sometimes a need as a result of an accident that is covered. It shouldn’t matter that it’s not mechanical. Just one of the issues I’ve encountered with this warranty.

We waited 2 days for Choice to find a service provider for our issue. The provider was scheduled 3 days later, between 11-3. I took the day off of work and nobody showed up. I called the provider, directly, and there was no answer. I called Choice Home Warranty and they said all they could do was email the provider and maybe they could come out on Monday... I can't take another day off of work for a maybe. Also, if we need to buy another appliance, President's Day weekend sales will be over by Monday.

I wanted to mention what a positive experience I had with Choice Home Warranty. After a day of loud banging from my washer, I contacted Choice and they immediately schedule a technician to come and look at my washing machine. The next day a tech was at my house. He immediately discovered the issue and contacted Choice who approved a resolution on the spot. I was amazed that there were still companies with take kind of customer service left. I am glad we chose Choice over the other major company.

Was offered $389 Lowe's card for a new range. Have you priced them lately?? $900 minimum for a comparable range. Yes, I could get a manual clean range for $599, still way more than what I was offered for a replacement. I was recently widowed and this just puts me further behind.

I called and placed an request for a well person to repair the well that had no water and no one picked up the order and I had to call in a local tech because no water is not a good situation and the tech that arrived was on home Choice plans providers yet, I had to pay the tech the fee of 290.00 for the services. And I attempted to have the resolution dept do a refund and they would not and then one rep stated, "Send the bill." I did and they would refund me and then this January they dropped the account and I had to start all over and now wait 30 days until I can place a request if something break. I have been with this company for a long time and I am considering getting another warranty service and I have 3 policies and now looking towards ECM warranty services.

I have had excellent response and repair using Choice Home Warranty. I had electrical problems with a rental home that I own and of course, I was eager to get it repaired for my renter. You answered my request with the name of the electrician within one day and was scheduled immediately for repair. Repairman was courteous, on time, and repaired the problem swiftly. I am very satisfied with Choice and recommend them highly.

Took 2 days to get an appointment. Received the appointment date, the vendor had a earlier appointment on different day. DID NOT speak to the vendor. Canceled my appointment. I returned the missed call a day later to the vendor, vendor confirmed will still come out on the original scheduled date but, I had to call to confirm, they reached out to the vendor. Vendor confirmed. Never updated their system. Only because of the vendor was my appointment kept.

Technician was great, but I am VERY unhappy with CHOICE as apparently the dishwasher needs replacing (it is still leaking) and CHOICE is refusing to do so to date (apparently the frame was bent upon installation and the home inspector did not notice as it WAS working).. Have filed an appeal so will see.

He forwarded his findings to Choice, but Choice, after some 36 to 40 hours still has not approved!! What is the hold up? It is cold here and we have no heat!!

Requested service for Toilet Leak. Service scheduled. Contractor came. Repaired wax seal. Leak continued from back of toilet tank. CHOICE refused to pay saying it was not covered. My service contract clearly says wax seals and leaking tanks are covered. I have a mess in my house. My toilet is not functioning and NO ONE NO ONE is responding.

We had a leaking washing machine. Choice Home Warranty quickly assigned a company to contact us and set up a scheduled appointment. The online process was easy. According to what I understood if Choice couldn't repair a product they would replace it with one equal to the value of your previous one. As it turned out they only offered me half of what it cost to replace mine and no option for them to replace it even though Lowe's still had my make and model available. This company is the biggest rip off I have ever seen. Freezer went out and called after the 3rd repairman came out and said it must be the control board that it can go out anytime. I waited 3 weeks. Finally called and he said Choice denied claim. Choice said it was a power surge that caused the problem. I stated couldn’t be. I had a surge protector on outlet. They said I must have a faulty surge protector. They will come up with any excuse to NOT pay a claim. RUN as fast as you can from this thieving company.

My first experience was ok, replaced my garbage disposal with a smaller unit. The hot water heater is too long to discuss here. My kitchen has lots of damage after their work in my sink area. Called for a leak and got my garbage disposal changed? Worked for a few months but apparently the leak shorted out all electrical appliances plugged in under my sink. I was told a piece was missing which is not covered making EVERYTHING up to me. What missing piece? I’m a disabled senior and don’t go under the sink, I can’t. Lots of their plumbers have? An electrician found the leak. It was never fixed. All I know they caused a lot of damage in my kitchen sink area. It continues to leak with the water off. Plumbing and electrical and I’m stuck with the entire bill! I am so very disappointed in the outcome and the attitude of the case manager. I felt she took delight in my unhappiness. I Do not recommend this company to anyone.

Our multi-year contract with CHW is a Total Plan that we were assured would cover “everything” on our heating and AC system. The sales rep failed to advise that there were some exclusions and we were very surprised that our claim submitted on 15 February 2023 was denied according to terms of coverage. Also, we were charged $75 for the call when our contract is fixed at $65 for the call. Friends have contracted with CHW based on our recommendation but now we are in a position to make them aware that the contract may not be what they think it is. Very disappointed!!!

Additionally, I still have not heard from Sears about scheduling a time to repair the heating element in my oven. It was also difficult getting someone from Choice on the phone. The salesman lied on multiple occasions. He told me twice that all exclusions on repairs/replaces were removed. He insisted That it did not have to be due to normal wear and tear. I found out that was false upon reading the terms. I also asked about whether or not my mini-split system was included and he said yes. That was false as well! After reading the terrible reviews and realized I was lied to, I called the same day to cancel. The lady in the resolution department unnecessarily argued with me and was very unapologetic about the unprofessionalism with the salesman. Lastly, I did not get a confirmation email of my cancellation. And I have to wait 30 days to get my refund back!

I am sorry but I’m very unsure if this is something I need at this time in my life. The longer the gentleman talked the more confused and concerned I became. I am 70 years old and spending $49.75 a month and then another $85. deductible should I need to use your service is expensive. Then to offer another rate for a six year lock-in was even more confusing. I felt pressured to make a decision that I’m not comfortable making at this time. I live on a limited income with no one to rely on for help.

At about 4 pm last Saturday, we realized our furnace wasn't working and the temperature in our house had dropped 5 degrees. I emailed our issue to Choice and within an hour they had us scheduled for an HVAC repairman on Monday morning. He arrived on time, spent 15 minutes diagnosing the problem, then told us he would have to order the part if Choice approved it, and it would be 2-3 days. Choice approved it, and he came back about 24 hours later to install the new part. We are now warm and comfortable!

Now I had another claim for a stopped-up sink in the kitchen and there have been numerous appointments made and numerous appointments canceled only one after I called, they never even called. They just didn't show up. Finally I called the company and they talked with them and I'm supposed to have an appointment to have it fixed today.

Hot water was not very hot. Called CHW. They listened to my problem. Put a claim in. Plumbing co came out. Jason was the repairman. In less than 20 min the problem was solved. Now we have hot water. CHW IS A VERY RELIABLE COMPANY.

The repair person got right work. Checked out the inside unit and found no problems. Then went out to the outside compressor and found that it had too much refrigerant, so the pressure was getting too high which would shutdown the compressor for safety reasons. They had to remove some of the Freon in the system. Everything seems to be working properly.

The only way I could speak someone in customer service or claims was to call the number to buy a policy. That person transferred me to a claims representative. I chose CHW because of the reviews, but when I received a call from a representative, I was ready to make the purchase, having furnished my credit information, and suddenly he came up with another offer that sounded ok. I began to ask questions, but he just kept talking over me, trying to force the sale. I had questions about "the policy", he said I couldn't see it until I made a payment. Well, then he kept leaving the phone to get authorization, I assumed, but when I asked where he was getting this authorization from, he said to me, "don't worry about it". I politely told him that that is no way to talk to a customer and to cancel my order. The company is good, the customer service was terrible. If a customer has a question concerning Terms and Conditions, making a payment first should not be the criteria to get an answer. I hope the conversation was recorded as this could be a valuable teaching moment for all sales representatives.

Just bought a new house and needed a locksmith. The claim process was very easy and prompt. I received a call within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. Once the locksmith arrived, he was prompt, friendly and explained the process. After the service, I immediately received a receipt and confirmation of service. Very impressed that I received an assignment of a tech within 24 hrs, however I am VERY DISAPPOINTED that I now I have to pay almost $350 out of pocket costs for "so call" technician cost for water heater installation. Mind you I pay over $75 a month for so call premium service. I understand that certain cost arise but what's the point of basically buying a new water heater on top of the $85 co-pay for them to take 5 mins to diagnose the problem.

It only took one call to make the appointment. It took very little time, with an automated computer. The confirmation came shortly after making the appointment with the name, appointment time, and telephone number of the service representative. Once the technician arrives, and the appointment is complete, I will give a further update.

The appointment was scheduled fairly quickly and the Sears tech arrived in the proper time frame. He quickly discovered that the unit was frozen up, defrosted it, and then insulated the rear pipe to prevent it from happening again. All the while he was cheerful, willing to answer questions, and was respectful of my property.

This will be the 3rd time the technician has been out to repair the dishwasher for the same issue...November 30, January 18 and now February 15. He keeps replacing the parts. It last about a month and has the same issue...not draining. Getting tired of paying the $85 service fee every time.

Several days ago I requested some information about your company online. I was surprised to see 4 different individuals responded from various locations. After reading the responses, I returned one of the calls and I’m really glad I did. I called Adam ** and was greeted by a very professional and knowledgeable representative of your company. I had a lot of questions for Adam and he took the time and had the concern for every question that I had. He explained everything to me so that I understood exactly how everything worked. After spending some time on the phone with Adam and a couple of more calls with questions, I was happy to sign up with your yearly program. In closing, I told Adam that I hope I never need to speak with him again and we both had a good laugh. He is a very well organized and knowledgeable young man. Was on time, after the vendor changed the arrival time three times. Extremely knowledgeable and understood what the problem was. Stated the unit may get repaired or replaced because the cost of the parts was more than that allowed by Choice.

Had to wait about five days for an appointment, but technician did arrive within the time window I was given. He was very knowledgeable about the washer and was able to diagnose and fix the problem very quickly. He also advised us what to do if the problem came back.

This particular experience finally is on its way to being resolved. It has taken a very long time and has been a drain on our time. We have had two other occasions that we felt Choice Warranty really did not honor the contract we signed. A year ago we had our furnace break down and because it was in February had to replace the furnace. At the same time our water heater went out and had to be replaced. Evidently we did not follow the process with these repairs and got absolutely no help from Choice Warranty. I will not recommend this company to anyone and will be informing AARP of my experiences with the company. Retired persons can still afford the expenses of this warranty on top of expenses for repairs that should be covered. Unless future repairs are handled more professionally and in a timely manner, we will not be renewing this contract.

The tech came out. Said someone would be in touch. Never heard anything else. I needed a new hot water heater and was never contacted about it. I had to look for other options to get it fixed. My washer needed replacing and I was offered only $550 when the cheapest comparable washer I could find was $798. When I spoke to someone (I don't know her name) I was treated very poorly. All she kept saying is that I was to be expected to pay some out of pocket amount. But, she wouldn't explain why. But, I just realized I wasn't going to get any explanation out of her because of her attitude. I felt that she wanted to get off the phone as soon as possible. My main problem is that she told me it could take up to 30 days for me to receive the Lowe's gift card. How am I go without a washer for 30 days! In this day and age of technology, why does it take that long to issue an e-gift card? This makes no sense. So, now I have to spend my time and money to go to the laundrymat until my gift card arrives.

This company is TERRIBLE. Covered about 20% of dishwasher replacement, NOTHING on heat pump repair because PRIOR homeowner did not have the spring maintenance done and the failure happened less than 6 mos after I bought the home, DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

Repeatedly paying for refrigerator repeatedly malfunctioning and need replacement. The problem is not the tech but CHW not honoring the main reason I have been a loyal customer for several years: Replacement guarantee or equal value cost. My Refrigerator is custom Samsung dual system. Extreme delay and disregard for my loss of food, comfort by the claims case managers. I am very disappointed.

Very polite and friendly. He went through all the pricing options and discounts until we agreed on a plan that worked for me. I had a large leak in the union pipe in my salt chlorinator which would have not allowed me to run the filter in my pool. Unfortunately when the union was repaired and able to run, the pool tech advised a couple of issues needed to be replaced which only could have be seen after the repair of the union pipe. Choice home warranty would not understand the problem and requested I put in a second request at another 75.00 charge. I don't think that was fair. If I had a small leak in the union pipe, I would have noticed the other problem and reported at the same time. But since it was a large leak and water was gushing out, my main priority was to shut the system off. I spoke to Choice home warranty and made notes in my account.

I recently had to file a claim for my microwave and because of the age of the unit, the replacement of the parts would be more expensive to replace than it was to put in a new one. Choice Warranty took care of that for me with no problems whatsoever. They truly stand behind their warranty.

This home warranty is a joke. This is the second time I've tried to use it. The first was an air conditioning problem Choice refused to cover. This second one is a refrigerator issue. They assigned a technician (who was great) to come out and he determined that it's not repairable. Choice actually surprised me when they said that they would provide me funds to replace the unit with a unit of similar capacity and features.
Then....the offer came. $986.00. That's not even a third of what it would cost to replace it. I appealed that offer and was assigned a case manager who agreed with me but is only able to increase the offer to $1199.00. Yet another ridiculous amount given what is being replaced. Left with no recourse, I accept the 1199 and am informed it will take up to 30 days for an E-gift card!!?? Why?? My refrigerator is failing! I don't have 30 days. Why is it not instant? It's an e card. To first offer a fraction of the replacement cost and then drag your feet sending it to me..as I said. Choice is a joke.

My A/C unit stopped working so I submitted a claim on Friday evening after 8 pm. The next morning I had an email stating a tech would be dispatched that day - and the tech did come to my home that day. The entire time it took to fix my problem was 19 hours which is AMAZING! Unfortunately I was not please & so disappointed with the service. I call Saturday morning and I expect that a technician come out that same day. Actually the company that accepted to do my service was not coming to my house until Monday. I live in Florida that is so hot and especially I am a disable veteran with my limitations. It was going to be 3 days without A/C. That is unacceptable! I went an cancel the service, I don’t need to wait until Monday. I call an A/C company… that came out the same day and just took 3 hrs to come and fix my A/C!!! The technician came and replace the capacitor it was something so simple to do and your company was going to make me wait 3 days!

On the first repair visit it was noted that the water heater is very old. Pipes above it were replaced. Second and third visits it was also noted with pictures by technicians. One of them said Choice would want me to open a new claim for that and also a different service provider that does HVAC would have to be used for the humidifier.
