Very nice, professional, explained everything to me. Called and told me what time he would be to my house. Knowledgeable about my heat pump, made me feel comfortable. Wrote and sent in his report while still at my house so I would know. He answered all the questions and filed it immediately, so as not to delay what had to be done

Last person I spoke to from Miami was very helpful. The first three people I spoke with didn’t know what they were telling me. She took time to look it up and yes I am covered. Also offered me to find my own here and submit the bill to them.

Before I even completely read through the Choice Warranty site, I received a call from William at Choice Home Warranty. Our conversation was pleasant and professional. He answered all of our questions. He offered us a reduction in the monthly cost by signing up for three years +6 months free, after I said a six year plan would be too costly right now. He was not pushy, he was affable, and we felt as though we received a good product for our money. Of course, time will tell if everything that the company says they will do will come about. I will come back with another review if there are any contradictions! So far so good!

Locates and schedules professional techs that come in a fair amount of time. Everything can be done online including scheduling and contacting assigned tech. CHW covers everything as contracted. If not covered, tech offers a good price on what uncovered work is needed to fix any home repair need. CHW has replaced a washer and a refrigerator for me under this contract. Need I say more?

Had an appointment for 11-3 today and it is after 3 and still no technician. Not very happy, I have been waiting all day and my wife has an appointment that she had to miss because she needed me to drive her.

So, the service man stopped in to see if he could locate the problem. He feels he has, and has ordered the part. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very kind. I expect to see him again in approximately 2 weeks to service (repair) my dryer. I was thankful I did not have to speak with the (out of the country) call center as they read from cue cards and are very frustrating. I will also post my report after the service is completed.

Fast & informative. He helped with all of my questions. Although, I did not get the 6-year deal, he did talk to me about all the ways that I could save more money. I enjoyed talking to him. He seemed extremely honest and that's why I chose to return.

Choice Home Warranty has been a blessing. I have always had positive experiences when I have needed to make a service call. Well almost always. I had issues with one provider but that was resolved as well. Anthony was great. He arrived earlier than expected and had me back up and running in 20 minutes. I appreciate someone that deals with electrical issues because I DO NOT!

Their sales rep are RUDE and when you do have CLAIM Expect that you don't get what you paid for! Save your money or go to some other company! Base on my personal experience. But feel free to experience it if you want stress and frustration.

We had 3 appliances that went out at the same time. We had to make several changes to the service calls and Choice was great. Very flexible and accommodating. We were assigned 2 separate service companies and we wanted to have the same one fix all 3 appliances and they accommodated that too.

Washing machine keeps stopping and showing error code. When you press and hold the start button it just rests and shows error code. Unplugged the unit as instructed, waited for half a day then plugged it back into the wall. Still had the same error showing.

On March 20, 2023 we received a phone call from Tim a sales person with Choice Home Warranty. Long story short, after he kept saying "no pressure, no pressure", that's all he did was pressure us. Would not understand that it's our right to get the best possible rate and we were shopping around for the best deal/company. I finally had to hang up and he ran a charge for $1,485.00 that we did not authorize. My question is, is this the way you treat the seniors and veterans that contact your company. NO THANK YOU!!! I will be telling all my friends not to deal with your company and I will be posting it on social media.

First claim I found with Choice Warranty for a repair needed to my dishwasher. Response time was within one day that appointment was set for 2 days later. Technician came on time and was able to pinpoint the problem, had the part on the truck to repair it and did so in a timely manner. Experience with the technician was really good and even though the repair was minor if you do not know how to repair it yourself what are you going to do.

I am a new customer and I was curious how well this warranty would support me after only a couple months of membership. They are replacing my very old washing machine at a generous prorated amount. Their settlement was quick after sending Mike from IQ Appliance who was prompt, efficient, courteous, very capable. I am impressed!

My heating coil needed to be replaced to allow the AC to work due to the fact that I have a heat pump. Choice Warranty took at least 2 weeks to approve replacement but that time I paid out of pocket to replace the item that needed to be replaced. I had asked for a cash buy out after several days and was given the runaround.

Choice Home Warranty cannot find a service company in Central Louisiana. It seems that every company they've worked with in the past has been burned in some way or another. The best service company that I've worked with has been shorted by choice and paid less than the agreed upon price. When my contract with Choice expires, I'll not renew it.

Plumber sent to fix toilet that was wobbling then leaking. He found the Flange broken and had to replace it. YOU decided it wasn't broken but installed improperly w/o seeing it other than by picture(s) and refused to pay for the replacement, you would only pay to replace the wax ring, which was NOT the problem. I had to pay $387 out of pocket for what should have been covered by you.

I have been paying service fees for several years to get my washing machine to work properly. They come out and it works for a few months and the same thing happens again. Repairing it is not working. The machine shakes and the noise it makes is unbearable. The panel was not working last year in July. They replace a button on the panel. Does not match anything on my machine. They sent a technician out last week and he said the panel is bad. They are going to replace it. How many times will they replace it? I am not a happy customer.

CHW lists too many parts on door not covered by them. I purchased a 3 year policy, which I paid cash, not a payment plan with them in 3/29/2020 to repair broken equipment within my home and my garage door is totally useless with a broken spring so the 3 year plan which I paid cash for is totally useless to me!!!

I was impressed that the technician was able accommodate the request of moving my appointment day and time up. He came in got right to work. I had to call him back due to the fact the heat went out half hour after he left, he returned within the hour after the call back. Since then the heat has been working.

Zero star is what I would give your customer service. I had requested 3 times to speak with a supervisor and was told no one on the floor was available and all 3 times was hung up on. No callback or an apology. Very rude.

Late Friday night my water heater leaked 50 gallons of water and flooded my first floor. I immediately submitted a claim. Didn't realize CHW was closed. Working until 5 am or longer trying to vacuum water (with my carpet shampoo) that was unstoppable. I called Saturday at 9 am and spoke with a CHW representative whom was very patient. I received an email that my claim was accepted and searching for a plumber. Unfortunately no one was available. I had a certified plumber that was available to inspect and give a diagnoses why the water heater leaking. I asked, the representative "will I be reimbursed for out of pocket expenses?"
The representative asked me to hold so she can reach out to the claims office. Immediately she returned with an approval. I thank you'll for your patience and understanding. My water heater has been purchased and ready for installation. In conclusion, with unexpected emergency mentioned above there shouldn't be a hold on an approvals. If I've called an 24 hr plumbing company and they give me their full services (complete the inspection, diagnoses, replace the furnace, including removing excess water etc) less than 24hrs. Would I've be reimbursed for those out of pocket expenses? As homeowners we must be ready for the unthinkable. Thank you again.

My heat went off, stopped working and it got very cold. I called Choice Home Warranty and they sent someone out within 24 hours. It was something with my furnace. The guy was professional and very knowledgeable. He put the part on and Voila heat in minutes. It only cost me $75.00. So worth it.

Reported problem to CHW online. Got a quick response from them by phone call and email. They sent a Tech next day. Tech found problem. Informed me and submitted claim to CHW. Got the 'go ahead' from CHW. Tech got the part needed and replaced old part in a few hours.

The repairman did a great job however he was late by two hours. Also he didn’t have the parts needed to complete the job. So he had to leave to get the garbage disposal. That took another hour. It was worth the trouble.

Have asked for help 3 times within the last year and not once have you found someone to help. I found help for 2 of these items, had them fixed, then you wouldn't pay. I will most likely NOT renew my contract when the time is up. Obviously you are not paying enough for people to do the work. You need to realize prices have gone up and your compensation for jobs needs to go up too.

AC drain line plugged and coils needed cleaning. Only covered the clogged drain line. Preventative maintenance not covered. A regular maintenance program with a service call fee would be of great value to the customer and save CHW money in the long run.

We had a plumbing issue and we called it in...They came out and took care of the issues, no problem! Outstanding professionalism and courtesy. I had reached out to the customer service of the faucet company for parts and got nothing but the run around. Once our plumber came on board, he called that same company and got the wheels set in motion for replacement parts. Now once they come in, our plumber will come back out and install them for us! Didn't like price for dishwasher. Dishwasher cost more than $246. Do not know if it is worth having Choice warranty the price for a replacement. It is a lack of discount not a replacement. We would like to see long-term customers get better choices When it come to replace in appliances and home.

I reported my problem online and per usual CHW got right on it. The tech group assigned was the one I had a bad experience with when my washing machine needed repair. Scheduling was a major problem. So I called CHW and asked if they could send someone else. They did without reservation and the scheduling was easy, the tech arrived at a reasonable time and the job got done.

I have never been more dissatisfied with a service in my life, submitted a claim on my refrigerator and was told it would be serviced on wed between 8-5pm, I get a call at 4pm saying that the tech would not be coming out, I taken the day off of work for this to happen, then I called the 800 number and talked to someone in the Philippines, this did not go well. Person couldn't speak english let alone understand it, if I had known this was going overseas somewhere to handle my issue I would not have ever signed up, needless to say I have to wait a week to have another technician come out, totally un-acceptable but what can I do about it? Not a darn thing.

It was decided by Choice that our washing machine needed to be replaced rather than fixed, so they're giving me a $323 Lowe's gift card to purchase a new one. That amount just about covers half of the cost of a new washing machine. I was under the impression that Choice would replace a unit at full price.

The job the guys did was great. The appointment was a little confusing but got it worked out and Eddyson Plumbing did a great job. Choice is definitely a good and respectable company. Definitely would recommend them.

Hobbs Appliance was quick and very responsive. However we are deeply disappointed that we only received $192.00 for replacement of a built in microwave. That is not even 30% if the cost of a new one. We both think that is a rip off. Very disappointed!

My microwave quit working. I started a claim, it took I believe 4 days to get someone of Choice Warranty's pick out here. I could have had someone here the next day. That's not my main complaint, my main complaint is that Choice Warranty decided to replace my microwave. The deal is with this warranty that if they replace it, it's of equal or closest to better than what I currently have. Well they offered me 190 dollars for a new over the range microwave! What can you buy for 190 dollars!! NOTHING!! They start at about 300 bucks and go up from there. So I'm waiting for a call back to discuss this but nothing so far.
This is pretty disappointing when you take out a contract and I'm supposed to be comfortable with having them have my back and then deal with the slow service getting people out here, and then them trying to shaft me on the price. Maybe whoever low balled the price should make up the difference. This better change next time I need something. I've been telling a lot of people how nice it is to have this type of warranty now days, but I will have to start telling how it really works and not recommend it, if it keeps up!

A picture was sent that looked like one of the electrical wires had paint on it and you all completely denied the coverage. Terrible. No other investigation was done on your part. There were multiple (25) outlets that needed to be changed and you denied it based on one picture.

The processing of my claim was very quick and a service person was sent the same day to look at my Microwave. It was not fixed but the service person came on time and was able to diagnose the problem. He was courteous and professional and there is a plan to fix it or replace it.

This is the first time I had a need to make use of my Choice Home Warranty and it was a truly amazing experience! I have had other home warranty products that would make you wait on hold for extended times to file a claim and wait on hold for hours trying to get them to fulfill the service that they are supposed to provide, This is definitely not the case with Choice Home Warranty! I was impressed also that the plumber called to handle my issue was a 4.5 stars vendor. The other warranty companies vendor were 1-3 stars, if you could find them to research them at all. An all around GREAT first experience with Choice Home Warranty!!!

Open Claim on 2/23/2023, Contractor set initial appointment for 3//2023, I was contact via text by contractor on 2/242023 to explain the issue and provide the model of the dryer, I replied the issue and a photo of the Brand and model of the Dryer, technician show on 3/2/23. Look at it, did not open or check the inside, took a photo of the model, request the deductible and advice he ordered the parts and reschedule for 3/17/23, finally the issue was fixed but it took almost a month to be resolve.

Updated on 03/23/2023: Submitting the case was super easy through the online portal. The repair guy came out the next day, ordered parts and then came back in 3 days. We only had to pay for the first visit. So far this has been well worth the money!
Original Review: The process to submit claims is very easy and getting it assigned has been so fast! Each time was less than 24 hours before a contractor was assigned. However, the first time Dominion Energy called to tell us the issue with our electric was on them. Trying to then cancel and get a hold of the contractor was like pulling teeth. Not easy to cancel once it's submitted. Today the professional will be coming out about the washer so then I can review on what the reimbursement/fix is like! If this part goes well, my next review will be 5 stars for sure.

The repairman came out and checked the dryer, determined the parts needed for repair and said it would be three to five business days to receive them. A week has gone by and I have not heard from him. I would expect to hear if there is a problem in receiving the parts and would like to know the new time frame. I have no way to get my clothes dry after washing them. PLEASE HELP.

Technician found a short between small garage and large garage fluorescent lighting fixtures. Technician explained that solid wiring during time tends to move. For this reason it appears that when after time these wires can potentially cause a short if they're close to other wires.

I was very pleased with the way the technician assigned to my problem handled the issue. Choice failed to promptly assign the call. It took 6 days and 4 additional calls to get a technician assigned. I was only requesting a confirmed service schedule not an immediate response.

The contractor MSJ Appliance said that he recommended replacing the oven unit because it entails a lot more work than needed and repair costs (for CHW anyway) outweighs repairing. He categorically told me that his recommendation is to replace. But yesterday I got info from the contractor that CHW has decided to go ahead and authorize the repair. Now parts need to be ordered (which can take long) before actual repair can be done. In the meantime the occupants do not have any appliance use. Am not happy. Jorge ** (homeowner)

Our washer bearings and drum went out. The new LG was $1,048. With it being 8 years old and parts totaling around $600 Choice gave us $547 towards a new washer. Though I would have liked more I thought this was fair. Lydia explained everything clearly. They do not include the labor which would most likely be around $250. Lowe's gave me a military discount which helped a lot as well.

We called for repairing our low water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom. When the plumbing came out and found out that we needed faucets changed out. This wasn't approved because the job said we had water stoppage and this needed another claim. That wasn't right. They did allow the claim to be done without another charge.

My opinion of Choice Home Warranty is A+. I had a problem with my water filter in my refrigerator and they sent a very knowledgeable appliance tech who checked it out and ordered the part needed. Within two days, he was back and installed the new part and the water filter works like new. I am very pleased with the work done and so happy that was covered under the warranty.

They make it very unclear on what is covered and what isn't covered under the Heating Systems section of my policy. They expect their customers to know what routine maintenance needs performed like we are all HVAC technicians. My claim appeal manager Shauntel was rude and extremely unhelpful, threatened to disconnect the phone call because she didn't like that I was upset with the result of my claim appeal. You would think someone who is a 'manager' and in customer service would have some sort of expertise in the customer service category. Very unprofessional and I imagine this isn't the first time it has happened.
I had to call back after that dreadful conversation with Shauntel, and spoke with Robert I believe, and he was kind and transparent about everything, unlike Shauntel. Never even got to speak with my designated manager Deanna which is very strange. They plastered her name all over the emails they sent yet I never even heard from her. Haven't got my money's worth out of this yet but I absolutely cannot wait to cancel when my year is up. I don't expect this review to be published, but I do hope whoever is blessed with moderating this review understands how frustrating it is to deal with your company.

My garage door opener stopped working. I couldn't get someone out to look at it when I needed them. Once they came, they said everything wasn't covered and want me to pay an additional $125.00 on top of the initial fee. Not happy!

Very disappointed in the fact that the Sears Repairman or his organization gave a 9 hour window to show up to do repairs, I received the text that he would be to my house between 8am and 5pm, there was no contact way to dispute those times, He did show earlier to the appointment, but still this would cause me missing a full days work, which is no good.

I was very dissatisfied with your service. I was told by your my service rep. that power surge caused problem, service tech. told me he did not say that. Asked for copy of report told you do not do that. Rep. said I could get second opinion to appeal. Called a contractor told him the problem I was having with my unit. He was honest and told me that your tech. was correct that the unit needed to changed because of age and wear. But it's a waste of time dealing with CHOICE you do everything to avoid paying. That's why his company no longer does service work for you.

Placed my claim request on Sat. the 4th of March. I was told that the repair would be on Fri. 10th., after contact with the repair team it was the 14th. 10 days without a kitchen sink is not actable. I think that Choice needs more than just one plumbing office for Southern California. I would not recommend choice to anyone else.

The initial service was excellent, I logged the complaint around 8pm and at 9am the next morning I had response to arrange a visit the same day. The technician was helpful and quick with his diagnosis (bad pump and struts). Then followed the only hiccup, which was the time it took the parts to arrive at my home (I think this was down to whirlpool customer service not the repair people). The parts came in on a Thursday and the repair tech turned up the following Wednesday. He finished up quickly and left a working machine.

I would definitely recommend her for a supervisor position as she was very knowledgeable and professional. Although their sales tactics in the beginning are way too high-pressure, my customer service experience with them has been very positive. The contractor they sent to repair my washer insisted that Choice would only pay part of the bill. After making Choice aware of the problem, they actually reached out to me by phone to assure me it would be handled. And it was!

The technician was great! He assessed the dishwasher, received approval from Choice hw, ordered the part, came back when the part was delivered. Choice hw in the meantime decided they would not approve fixing the dishwasher that it should be replaced. Sounds good right? They offered me $245 at Lowe's. Dishwashers start at $350 not to mention how was I supposed to get it home and I would then have to pay for installation! Needless to say, my renewal is up in July, I will NOT be renewing. My dryer was not heating and when the technician came to check, he advised the wires were burning! So grateful to not have had a fire! My dryer has to be replaced and I will receive a Lowe’s gift card. Only thing I am not satisfied with is having to wait up to 30 days to receive the e-gift card. This is a major appliance that is needed constantly on a regular basis. So I will continue to have to spend more money by going to the laundry mat until I receive the funds. It's okay to pay a $65 service fee to find out what's wrong but then to find out that you won't cover replacing my heater, is not good at all. You charge a lot per year for us to be supposedly covered, only to find out that we're really not. So now, we have no heat for our house and we have two disabled people and a child, with no heat!

Plumber was great at explaining everything. Unfortunately, Choice Home Warranty refuses to allow service of a clogged vent. This is the second claim I have submitted on this property. The first claim is still open due to the fact that choice has not found a central vacuum technician and the plumbing is my second. So far zero satisfaction. Also, I was charged a $75 service fee when my salesperson, Eli stated due to the fact that I purchased 3 home warranties my fee would be $65 on my second and third properties. First of all this is a review for CHOICE HOME WARRANTY, and not the technician. The technician arrived fast and was good. I called to have my microwave that was busted to be repaired and also to have my refrigerator lights replaced. The refrigerator lights are not covered. The technician recommended replacement of my microwave and I was informed that it was approved BUT it would take minimum of 30 days to process. And once it is process, I am only getting a LOWE's gift card for the amount of like 200 or less.
I am disappointed because if I had know that I would just be getting a gift card, I would just saved my monthly premium and buy me a new microwave. I went to home depot and the microwave would cost minimum of 200+ , excluding INSTALLATION. The very reason why I had home warranty is for convenience. I was hoping if they need to replace it, then they would send a person with the new microwave, and install it. But I am just going to be given a gift card which won't even cover the whole expense, and then I am on my own.

I decided to change my home warranty from AHS to Choice because AHS renewal was really high. I had been with AHS for over 25 years, and they didn't want to give me a discount. I spoke to ELI, and he explained the way Choice works and convinced me to take a good 3 1/2 year policy. So far, I'm a happy camper with Choice and I will see how they act when and if I ever need to file a claim.

I purchased a 1 year home warranty for $624. I was told by the sales person that my septic system would be covered if repairs are needed with a $85 service call charge. I asked to see the policy details before purchase. He said "It's all right there on the site". I asked him to email me the policy so I could review. He said "It's covered". This company is the WORST. Avoid at all cost. They have a completely UNWRITTEN rule that automatically cancels any claim if you don't check in with them every 30 days. When do they tell you this? At the point of contract? When you file a claim? When you check on the status? Oh! They NEVER give you this information in advance. You find out when you check on the status of a claim or call to complain work hasn't been done and they cancel the claim. And here's the kicker - to open a new claim, they force you to pay a service fee again. For the same problem you've already paid a claim for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this completely trash warranty company. They have no interest in solving claims - just taking your money.

I submitted a claim on a Wednesday for a water heater not working and by Friday my claim had yet to be assigned to a service tech so I called back to complain that waiting 2 days just for a claim to be assigned is unacceptable and now we're heading into the weekend and Choice would need to escalate my claim which they did and my repair was completed a week later.

Unfortunately the scheduled technician move their show date back an extra day, so there isn't much to tell as of yet? This was the first time I had a technician actually do something. An air conditioning tech came in 2020, all he did was spray the outside unit. The next day I discovered the water was never off. Called a plumber, he wanted to break up our patio. The leak was behind my washer. The water heater tech tapped on the unit and said there was nothing he could do. We will be giving serious thought to not renew our contract.

I was offered a certain discount for a new policy. I told Mr. ** that I needed to discuss it with my wife and would call back later. Without my consent, I was locked into a higher rate and received notification via email. Policy needs to be cancelled immediately.

Mechanic came out and flip our breaker on and fixed the problem! I’ve thought the furnace went out but only the breaker had switched off. We were very happy that we didn’t have to replace furnace. Happy happy happy we are. Thanks to Choice warranty.

Filed a claim 3-4 weeks ago, still no one has come. Called for help several times but not helpful. I need the service to come take care of my microwave. Help! Help! Help! I get connected to the operator but no result. Very unhappy with the service.

Awoke to no AC this morning and called CHW for work order submission. Was 81 degrees outside at 8:30am and was worried it would not get resolved soon. Within 2 hours a technician arrived and fixed the problem. Very helpful and thorough. Great job by all. Thank you.

First I had a water heater go out. Choice did replace it but charged me 398.00 plus the 65.00 for Vist. Then my ac went out. Choice covers my geothermal ac but will not pay for the water piping connection to the unit that is leaking. Paid 65.00 twice for plumber to look at it. I have choice on three houses I own.

This is regarding claim: **, which is almost 2 months old; and Choice is not able to get any updates from technician and nor able to proceed further with any confirmation. Today post 2 months they have reassigned the claim and again it will be another delay. It is worst company, who do nothing and just keep their customer waiting forever.

Updated on 4/11/2023: I filed a claim for a dishwasher repair in February. I still have not had any resolution to my claim. They said I had to replace my dishwasher but I haven’t heard back. They (Choice Home Warranty) has not sent me any replacement information yet and it is now April. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Updated on 03/21/2023: After a week I’ve still had no response. Very POOR customer service. I have not received the “electronic “ gift cards to Lowe’s. You can’t even select your own vendor for a replacement product. This company is horrible.
Original Review: I was told I had to replace my dishwasher. Choice Home Warranty only gave us a fraction of the amount to replace. I contested the amount and was given a little more. It comes as gift cards for Lowe’s. Now they want me to wait for a month for electronic gift cards. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Technician was prompt and came at the time that he said he was going to come, explain the procedure on how he was fixing the machine. Corresponded with the technician a couple of days prior for him to come to my home. He was very precise over the phone and courteous.

When I received my new water bill it had jumped $137. I had no idea what was going on. Of course I put in a claim. Have 3 toilets in my home and they were all broke. Water was constantly running. It literally took 4 days to get a PLUMBER to come out and that was after I called screaming. Was I happy with Choice. No. I’m happy it was not my AC/HEAT or flooding.

Technician arrived at our house later than the time he was supposed to be there, but he was great at communicating. He showed up and told us the dishwasher was not washing, which we already knew that he thought it was the pump. He stated he would report that to the warranty company and we have heard nothing despite me trying to track the claim multiple times. I feel like I paid $85 for someone to tell me my dishwasher was broken which I already knew.

The technician explained everything accurately and did a fine job. The issue is the email from CHW was misleading. The subject line said my appliance was not repairable. The body of the text said it was to be repaired and to hit the link once it was repaired. I waited two weeks before I contacted CHW and learned I was to click on my claim status to get the proper update. The website does not say to click on the actual claim for updates. It could be a lot clearer.

This was absolutely the best experience I’ve had thus far. I called on a Saturday morning and knew within a half hour what time the technician would arrive. Within an hour of arriving the problem was resolved. This was the quickest I have ever seen this happen. If it wasn’t for the what I consider unreasonable amount they offer for a replacement appliance I would be much happier. Be sure to read the fine print. It has been a plus for me even though I did have to spend extra money to replace several appliances since I wanted something similar to the original. My appliances were only 7 to 8 years old when replaced. Overall I would recommend the service.

I woke up one day and took a very ice cold shower and I knew something was wrong. I called Choice Home Warranty and filed a claim about my water heater. The next day I received notice that my repair person would be at my home between 11 am and 3 pm. He arrived early and was able to determine the issue and change the part. He as very professional and polite. I am so happy to have hot water again!

Our microwave was no longer working. It had been previously repaired ant the problem recurred. The technician that came to the home was courteous, skilled, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Even though I had to call to verify my appointment by myself, the technician was professional and experienced. The plumber that came out was very professional but it’s been a week since my request and still not fixed so I don’t know if it’s the plumber or Choice that’s holding it up so at this point I am a lost for words. This needs to fixed quicker than this. I leaking faucet is costing me money on my water bill.

I have bought all the repair parts and had a tech come out and replace them. He got the dryer working perfectly. Then he evaluated the washer. Determined the control board was bad and needed replacing. CHW opted to replace the unit, only giving me $547. The unit cost $1127. They would not increase the amount to cover replacement unit. I them said I really would just like the unit fixed, so please just send the tech back with the parts. They said no. I have been denied coverage on other claims made as well. This confirms the fact that I will not renew coverage with this company.

I was confused when replacing an outlet in my house was not something that my warranty would cover. But still I would think that a hot water heater going out would be the definition of when a home warranty kicks in. But as I have found I am not covered the way that I thought it was and I am very disappointed that I purchased a 2yr plan. The technicians are great though, so at least I found trustworthy people to do the work through the warranty program even though I have to pay for it all myself.

Shower head was leaking, low stream and was getting very little hot work. Plumber came out and was extremely courteous, neat and efficient. Took care of the issue quickly and perfectly. I would definitely recommend this technician for any plumbing issues.

I’ve had CHW since purchasing my home in 2019. It is an older home, approximately 30-40 years old. Each time I’ve called and placed a claim, they are thorough and efficient. And every partner they’ve sent to my home were professional, thorough, and efficient as well!
