Service technician was excellent. Time from initial request for repair and providing a technician was totally unacceptable. There was even one provider that was out of business! Customer service person was very difficult to understand and didn't seem to understand my need for repair.

Part are no longer available for my stove to be repaired so I was offered a swap out. Problem is I was only offered $338. I need $600 to replace my beautiful electric stove. I was contacted by the case manager which was an absolute waste of my time. All she did was put me on hold for a long time just to tell me there was nothing she could do for me.

The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to fix the issue. I would definitely recommend him or the company and I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him as well. He went into detail on why my system wasn’t working. It took him less than 15 minutes.

Sunshine Services of Fl, great company to have in my home. Feren was the TECH. Great person, friendly, all around great company. Fixed our problem in no time. Our electric wall sockets were not working. Will ask for Sunshine again if I have anymore electrical problems.

What nice and personable people that came to my house, worked and fixed the problem quickly- They actually came after 5pm knowing I work from home and needed the internet in the day time. They identified and quickly fixed the issue and explained what the issue was. Recommended!

Technician came in and quickly diagnosed the problem. He fixed the problem quickly. Overall response was slow. It took a week to get someone here. When you have water running on to your wood floor, a week is too long to have to wait.

Called to set up a company to come out and check A C, was told 24-48 hours. We had a company the next day to look the AC over and what needed to be done. They did what was given permission and now we wait to see how it runs.

After I accepted the claim of replacement amount of my Microwave damage they told me that, "You will receive the (Lowe’s e-gift card) after 30 days." So that means I will wait for almost more than a month without a microwave till you send me the (Lowe’s e-gift card) to put new one and that is not acceptable.

Our Fridge Died, It only took a week for a tech to come look at our fridge and it although he tried, my fridge is still broken. In order to avoid replacing our fridge, Choice authorized another tech to come see about our fridge but he hasn't contacted us. In the meantime, we had to spend one hundred dollars on Coolers to try to save some of our food and money for ICE. We just threw away the rest of the contents of our fridge into the Trash.
Now, if Choice decides to help us pay for a New Fridge, and we're sure they Will Not give us enough money for the most Basic Fridge, the payment will take A Month to reach us. So Choice wants us to wait 6 weeks for a replacement fridge since they are having issues fixing ours. So we have spent and lost a couple of hundred dollars already because of Slow Service. I'm sure this can happen to you too with this fine company. Choice asked us to write about our "Positive Experience", This is the best one I have so far for this appliance.

The handle on my toilet broke and I couldn't flush it. I use that bathroom the most because it's the closest and I am disabled and have a hard time walking. When I called to report it, I explained what was wrong and the Tech had the correct part to fix the problem.

My system was fixed in less than a 24 hour turn around! I’m very pleased with the responsiveness of Choice Warranty. The service tech was professional and courteous and fixed the unit quickly. I’m back to being COOL! Thank you Choice!

Took almost 3 weeks to get my washer fixed and it was only a clogged drain hose, took the tech 20 minutes to fix, 5 stars to the tech, he was awesome. They more techs in the area or find a way to keep techs coming back to their portal for jobs.

Working with Choice has been the worst experience ever. I never had a home warranty that did not abide by their own lease, horrible customer service especially from the case manager Shaunte M. I am canceling my services asap and reporting Choice to the Better Business Bureau!

The only way this company could be any worse is if they started suing their customers. They don't honor their contracts and aren't even licensed in the state of California yet they still sell insurance contracts under Home Service Club of California Insurance Services Inc. Essentially they are a Ponzi scheme that is allowed to operate and destroy people's faith in humanity. They should be shut down immediately!!!

The coverage is not doing what I was sold and against the competitive plan I was talked out of purchasing. My experience with the plumber who came by was a 5 star rep. CHW I will not recommend this company to anyone. I am still waiting on a claim to be approved and follow up is bad.

Could not repair my washer because parts not available which was not true; Because it is labor intensive I was told that. I then was told it could be another month before they would replace so offered me half of what it will cost to replace the washer. After debating the value of the offer was told it could take up to 30 days to get a check. You decide if this is a good value to have.

I filed a claim with Choice home warranty on Saturday night and by Sunday morning they texted me they were getting a plumber. Ty. With TYT home solutions was great. He came and diagnosed my water heater and replaced the element that was burnt out. He called when he was on his way and followed up the next day.

While the latest representative was very friendly on the phone, the issue still remains, I filed a claim for my toilet on 2/8/23… It is 4/27/23. No one has been assigned to my case as of yet. I do not trust the reimbursement system set up, so I have been waiting over two months, no one at CHW has ever bothered to follow up or make things right… Very unlikely I would ever renew this service.

The plumber was amazing and very quickly fixed the problem. He was very prompt and very knowledgeable. I would recommend his service to anyone. I was very pleased with the outcome! I had a leak under my sink that was soaking everything. I called Choice and got a plumber within 2 days!

They came in and fixed my air conditioner and got it running within 30 minutes. They maintained professionalism at all time. I will refer Choice to my friends. I put the ticket request in on a Sunday and they came that Monday for service.

I placed a claim online yesterday r/t my refrigerator water filter door was broken. The repairman was here this am. He has gone now to pick up the replacement part. He is such a very nice, professional and pleasant person. I have had my warranty for many years. I have needed it that many times, but have been very happy each time I have had a problem with the service I have received.

It took 30 hrs for Choice to send me info on who was going to be the vendor to take care of my heating situation. A&G Mechanical were excellent in response time and service. Gene was excellent getting to me before the original 4 day time period to wait for someone just to come out to see the problem.

Got online to check home Warranty prices. Alberto ** called while I was filling out a request on line for a quote. He explained your policy and what it covers. I said yes and we started filling a application over the phone.. He then told me your company was celebrating an anniversary and by paying full price for for 6 years I would receive life time transferable coverage. I took the life time transferable coverage.

I've called twice already... I am highly disappointed with the service and still need my fan repaired. Mr. Francois ** was assigned to repair my microwave. Turns out all the fuses blew. Mr. ** was on time, polite, efficient, and completely restored my built in microwave to working order. I would love to have him assigned to any of my future repairs.

Our oven died one evening and so I submitted a claim for evaluation and repair. I had a service tech within 36 hours who found us even though he was given an incorrect phone number. Within an hour the problem was identified and the needed replacement part was ordered. We are quite pleased with the response time as well as the knowledge of our technician.

I place a claim, the woman took my request, asked me what was wrong with the washer, asked if it was top loader front loader, I told her top and she schedules a technician for a water heater. When I purchased the policy I was told customer service is in the states, NOT TRUTH.

AARP was my initial reason for looking at Choice, but then I delved deeper into them and their standings. Although I hope I never need their services, I will rest easier having this coverage. I took the 6 year plan for many reasons and I will be in my 90s when it ends, but it will be a selling point if I have to leave my home.

While he arrived beyond his scheduled time, Glen proved to be very professional and knowledgeable and was able to diagnose my problem immediately. He ordered the part and returned the following week to install it. My refrigerator was repaired in February 2023 in a quick manner. The repairmen were friendly and very efficient and knew their job. Very pleased. They ordered the part and it was shipped to our home within a few days. We were pleased with the timing and work well done.

Repairman needed a part - 3 day delay. Then discovered he needed another part - 2 week delay. Nice guy, but replacement part ordering is terrible. The microwave was working fine except that the turntable didn't work. Now it is completely disabled, so I have been without a critical part of my kitchen for nearly three weeks.

I just started this year with Choice and I had my first service order. The service was fast and the tech that came out was very professional and knowledgeable. The Tech recommended they put sealer strips around the dishwasher door to help it from not leaking, so another appointment was made. The tech did exactly what he said he was going to do.

Very happy with the repair by Quality Drain Solutions. Very unhappy with the time and confusion it took to get a repairman to our home. First appointment was scheduled for 4/20 Noon-3 and when I called QDS they had no record of the appointment. They were very helpful, contacted Choice Home Warranty and were able to get to us on 4/25.

Claim worker came out to repair one thing. Wrote a report to claims. Choice did not honor request to have job completed and suggested to me to pay another service fee which the previous job worker explained to me I shouldn’t have to pay another $85. Choice denied work order.

I have had two claims. The recent was with our clothes washer. The Sears repair team came in with an obvious goal to resolve my issue. Not only did they resolve the problem but they uncovered a couple other problems and are coming back to do that. Great guys.

It would have been nice if you had replaced the sink flange that came with the unit. What if a new leak happens there? Plumber's putty doesn't last forever. I realize it would have taken longer, but it makes your service seem cheap and I don't get to see the new shiny bit.

Choice approved the repair quickly, and the appliance will be fixed within a reasonable time, even though I live in a rural community. I submitted a repair for my Maytag Electric Dryer, and get a respond within the same day. However, later on the day that I submitted a repair, my dryer seem to be working again. So I tried to cancel my request on the text message from Sears, and called again on Monday to make sure that my order has been cancel. The lady assured me that my order has been closed. The service man came on Tuesday, and said he didn’t get any messages. I felt bad that he didn’t get the cancellation notice.

Nathan was able to save me hundreds of dollars by switching to Choice Home Warranty from one of their competitors company. Waste a free service call on a washer that only fills 1/4 way even on deep fill. The agitation is very slow and almost non existence. However the serviceman checked it out thoroughly and I appreciate him showing and explaining everything to me. Just wouldn't buy this washer again.

The Electrician was excellent for repairing my electrical problems. He was on-time and knew exactly how to get the problems solved. I would recommend him to anyone needing an electrician. However when I called Choice Home Warranty to request to have him replace 1 additional switch you denied it. That was uncalled for. Why?

Updated on 08/22/2023: How about waiting from April for a faucet replacement and still no faucet. At least 7 visits scheduled and no show-ups. This plumber has more excuses than you have teeth. First 4 or 5 part hasn't arrived. Then after a date is scheduled plumber tells Choice it wasn't schedule. Just tell me he's not ever going to come.
Original: It took three different days for the plumber to show up at my home. I wasted three days waiting for someone to show up two nights until after 8 o'clock. When he finally arrived he was very nice and courteous, but I cannot afford to do this again.

Toilet leaking 2/22. Called into Choice Home Warranty 2/22. Claim initiated 2/24. 1st Plumber asked to snake toilet. Instead plumber removed toilet, found damaged O-Ring, replaced old O-Ring. Called Choice - they were going to send same plumber. We had friend replace with new O-Ring. Toilet still stopped. Choice sent 2nd Plumber, who came without truck or tools. Told us we had to pump septic - which had been pumped 15 months earlier. Choice did not cover pumping septic. We have Septic cleanout. We paid $350 to pump septic. Toilet still stopped. Called Choice 3/14. They created a new claim. 3rd Plumber never showed up at scheduled date. 4th Plumber did not come - probably because they would not get reimb from Choice. 5th Plumber sent from Choice - only came to assess damage. Advised that toilet needed to be snaked out.
Choice would not cover snaking toilet, since we don't have ground level access. Called Choice 4/25 - told they would pay 75% of cost to snake toilet. Only offered this service after we called to cancel contract. Plumbers #1 and #2 are not licensed in our state (GA). Plumber #1 had licensed revoked in adjacent state (TN). Plumber #3 is not a licensed plumber in any state.
We bought 42 months - prepaid plan. Plan start date 6/1. Choice charged us for 11 months of coverage - not 10 - because we paid in May for a June start date. Choice charged us a $50 cancellation fee - even though we only cancelled after giving Choice 60 days to snake a toilet. BE AWARE - CHOICE HOME WARRANTY IS THE WORST COMPANY WE HAVE DEALT WITH.

Garbage disposal was frozen due to bone and other objects. My only concern is the monthly charge keeps increasing and the co-pay increases also. The technician was professional, prompt and courteous. So far, Choice Home Warranty has been dependable to me and I will use them again.

I appreciate that I just found it was hard to reach out to them to talk to someone and to get a call before they came. Popeye's Handyman service was very good. Technician arrived on time and came when I was able to be home. He explained everything that he was going to do and then also checked with Choice Home to make sure they had all the info they needed before going forward.

Cable broke on my garage door. Tech observed that the loop was rusted. He reported to Choice that both cables, all rollers on both side of the door needed to be replaced. Choice denied the claim. It cost me over $650.00 to have to have those pieces of hardware replaced. I believed the claim should have been covered by Choice. When a homeowner buys a Home warranty policy he expects the entire product to be covered, not this piece covered, this part not. Disappointed with the denial of claim. Choice has been fair with with me on all other claims.

This is our secod claim with Choice Home Warranty. The first one was for air conditioning. We were without air conditioning for 5-6 weeks in the hottest part of the year. In the end, we paid to fix the unit because the repair wasn't covered. The repair took 2 days... Our most recent claim was for our dishwasher. The repair people told us they only service our area on Thursdays. They could come the first Thursday and assess the repair and then return the following Thursday if the repair was approved by Choice Home Warranty AND they could get the parts. We decided we didn't want to wait 2 weeks to get the dishwasher repaired and THEN find out that specific repair wasn't covered. We had the unit repaired on our own for $75.00.

Signed up for a new policy for my daughter's home a month and a half ago for $561 with a $65 claim fee. Today, I wanted to now switch my own home owner policy to Choice, hoping to get the same deal. I enrolled online (my mistake, I guess) only to find, after purchasing that the claim fee is $85. Immediately an agent (Reuben **) called to say he saw my online purchase and he could lower my claim fee to $65 if I would sign up and prepay for 3 to 6 years for reduced yearly costs. Told him I just wanted to renew yearly but would like the $65 claim fee like my daughter's policy. He said he couldn't do that because I signed up online. No sooner do we hang up, then I get an email from his saying he is offering $528 with $75 claim fee. WTH!! You guys are like "used car" salespeople. I am not real happy right now!

I've been with CHW since 9/2017, after the passing of my husband, and I am so glad I have them. Over the years I called them to make claims and they have me set up with a technician within a day or two each time. I recommend CHW to anyone looking for a home warranty. This is the first appt I’ve ever had with Choice that I did not have to complain about and wait weeks for a reliable technician. While I would not recommend choice, I would recommend the technicians once choice got scheduling correct. He came within 2 days of scheduling which is a first for choice.

We called on Friday night, for our water heater, that suddenly stopped making hot water. The pilot light would relight, but it would go out after turning the control up to heat the water. The person who took our call, was very good, with getting us set up for a repair, but it was an appointment, that was over a week, away. We called the repair person personally, and they managed to move up the appointment time, by three days. We feel this is way too long of a wait time, for our repair, even though Hinkles House LLC. was great when they came and did the repair. The repair man was very professional, and did a great job repairing the water heater. Overall the wait time was way too long, but the service was great. Thank You.

Technician diagnosed the issue and got it fixed next day itself. We had requested him to expedite the ticket handling. He really understood the urgency and took care of it. The next day after my AC dying I went online and began the report. Got the claim number upon doing so and the next day got an email with confirmation, and appointment day. The company used to service the repair called the following day to schedule an appointment. The same day received an email from Choice confirming that appointment. The service company called me and texted me. The service repair man was knowledgeable and within a few minutes took a picture, and called for for the replacement part. Two days later I got an email from the repair company that they will be installing the part on such a day and hours. I am very very pleased.

We had to have our central a/c repaired. No cold air, found this problem after a grueling turn around 600-mile trip and arrived to find out our a/c was not blowing cold air during high temp days in the forecast. Long story the first agent spoke was rather cold when I had the a/c fixed a.s.a.p and said since I did not call prior to repair it would is not covered.

My Hot Water Heater was making a noise. Tech came out and was professional and very thorough in his assessment. The claim process was simple. My garbage disposal was broken on Friday. I called in to make a claim on Saturday and the scheduled the plumber for Tuesday. The technicians arrived, the service fee was collected, the tech took the pictures, sent them to the claim office for approval and they came back to replace the unit once it was approved.

We've had other alleged heating and A/C specialists here to investigate our situation but Bryan and Caleb ** is the team that got the job done right. Following the installation of our solar heating and A/C a few weeks ago, we discovered that our heat pump was not cooling effectively. Bryan and Caleb quickly diagnosed the problem as not being the heat pump, but the wiring in our electrical panel. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem and rewire the panel to ensure that we were getting the correct voltage to the heat pump. Now it works like a charm. We're thinking about having a couple of mini-splits with a new compressor installed. If we do, we're calling Bryan and Caleb at Stratton Heating & Air Conditioning.

Jc and repair were very communicative and very respectful. We couldn’t be at home at a certain time and they came at the time that we were able to be home. The repairman was very courteous, respectful, and professional. They got the problem resolved and checked, and double checked that everything was working well before leaving, if we run into any issues again, I would not mind having the same company do my repair. I was very disappointed on the claim of my garbage disposal. It took me almost 2 weeks to get it fixed / replaced and then I used it a few times and it broke again, making the same sound that it had been replaced for. The tech said the power supply is bad on our drug and the part isn’t made anymore. I have concerns about waiting weeks while the part is being spooked for. We have another apt on 5/1. I expect to have to replace the fridge. I want to be sure I get the same quality replacement. If all that happens and I get a fair replacement in a timely manner. I will give an excellent review. Why do you get a home warranty contract except for repairs or replacements when something stops working?? My toilet was leaking and the claim was denied due to “normal wear and tear” so if my air conditioner goes out will it be denied because it’s stopped due to wear and tear?? I’m going back to AHS as they fixed everything regardless of reason.

When I returned home from work, my home was cold that I need a jacket. He was there for a short period of time and the problem was solved. It took over 12 days to find Caliblue to work on my heater. The request was for heater, leaking pump and pool timer not working. Heater was fixed at a cost of over $800.00 and as of this time Choice has not paid. I paid for coverage in advance. What is the problem????

The Oasis Tech was an Expert, resolved the Problem efficiently, only Problem was: YOU"! He needed replace a part and as per you, had to call for permission, you said 10 minutes to get back to him was your timeline, WRONG!! You took little OVER 25 minutes!! Claim has been denied due to a technical difference in terminology. We have a small refrigeration unit that can also be described as a beverage cooler ... Both refrigerators and coolers perform the same function. The salesperson who sold us the plan four years ago said (or at least implied) that it will cover all kitchen appliances. Now I find out that it does not after 4 full years of premium payments. At this point, continuation of the plan is in doubt.

Insisting that I provide proof of repairs done prior to my policy with Choice and refusing my claim until I do so which is high handed behavior that is is unacceptable. I have been bullied on the phone by the sales team trying to force me into renewing my policy 3 months before it is due. Great experience, technician is very good diagnosing the issue & fixing our appliances. Comes within the repair window. Works fast & clean. I highly recommend his repair services. Choice has been very good at sending good service people out when we have appliance issues.

Both repairs were done in a professional and timely manner. The process from reporting the claims to completion was fairly seamless. I would highly recommend this warranty plan to family and friends. This is my second year with Choice, and the costs of these repairs have more than covered the cost of the premiums.

I hope this company works out for me. It sounds very promising and the coverage is good. Time will tell. My home was built in 2005. It's a 3/2/2. I bought it May 2015. It's been a comfortable home and I plan on being here until Jesus comes back.

Overall the claim was settled and happy results happen. I got a new Hot Water heater. The reason for four stars is the length of time to get those results. I still like Choice Home warranty and will continue using the company for my home. They did work very hard on getting the job done.

I had a worse experience with this company and don't trust this company. They will not fixed anything and creates more issue. I had a cartridge problem in the bath shower need to replace. Before their visit they told me they will cover and do the repair and later their technician made more damage and told me insurance is not covered.

The tech was 2 hours later than the latest schedule time, but, other than that, he was excellent & very professional. I would recommend him to anyone. He diagnosed my issue pretty quickly. I would welcome him back to do repairs anytime.

Choice Home Warranty have one of the best customer reps on the market. They are easy to communicate with and US base representatives which is a big plus in communication when you are having an emergency. The only thing is, some of the contractors they do business with are not so professionals. I will still do business with them however because Choice HW will make make it right when you bring the issue to the customer representative. Never had a problem with them.

I was very happy with the work that was provided to us. The air conditioning company team was very knowledgeable and friendly. They fixed the problem with the air conditioner and I was able to go back to work. They were very polite and I would recommend Choice home warranty for those that own homes because without this home insurance I would have never been able to afford to pay for this service.

The time from making the claim to when the actual person showed up was a little bit long. However the person that showed up was extremely professional and knowledgeable and I give him a 10 out of 10. He was very practical and explain things in a very simple way. Again if the warranty company could shorten the time between the claim and when the client is contacted this would be perfect.

Ronnie from Cool Temp came Monday 4/16/23 to diagnose the problem. He came back on Wednesday 4/18/2023 and fixed it. Very professional and courteous. I would recommend. Cool Temp!!! I had a very bad experience with American Home Shield. I am very pleased with Choice Home Warranty. 5 stars to both Cool Temp and Choice Home Warranty.

Submitted claim. Assigned a technician. I called to re-schedule a sooner time. He came and fixed the issue within an hour. Paid my 85$ and it all worked as it was supposed to. Past experiences had not been this smooth at all. Very happy this one went so well.

Placing call was excellent, however waiting to see if Choice Warranty covers my garage door not opening with remote. Again many agreements have verbiage and hopefully will include programming.. I have use in past for Dishwasher and it was repaired immediately.

All were easy to understand by Ryan's communications. There was no unwelcome pressure to purchase more than I could afford, which was appreciated. Thank you for offering coverage for nearly all unplanned repair emergencies for my major household systems. It provides comforting assurances for what to do, should nearly any repair emergency arise in the future. I love the "transfer" feature to another dwelling or to another owner of my property! I turned in a request for repair at about 12:30 PM, the appliance repairman arrived about 4:30 PM did troubleshooting. He determined that the timer was not working, He told us he had to go and get the timer. He was gone about 45 minutes. He returned and installed the timer. (It works).

Placed a claim via telephone with CHW. Got an email regarding a scheduled upcoming appointment between 3p and 8p. No one showed up. Tried to contact CHW; it was after hours. Called the contractor number that was provided; it was a wrong number. Looked up the company online. Owner called me back and stated that he turned down the job because he did not work on oil-burning units as the work order stated. Told him it was a gas/electric unit as I stated to the CHW representative. He came out the next morning at 8am, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and returned to install the new motor. He was very communicative, courteous and efficient. My only frustration is that the CHW customer service representative relayed the incorrect information to the service provider, delaying the repair.
