Milan was very professional and answered all my questions satisfactorily. She was to the point and offered us a good comparison that made Choice more attractive than AHS. The tech showed up within the given time frame and provided a call about 30 mins prior to arrival. He was quick at diagnosing the issue and was able to fix within an hour. The dryer is back to working like new.

All of my experiences have been terrific except for one (which I don't want to identify because I think the technician's shortcomings were from overwork and overbooking, not incompetence or negligence.) I am so glad to have Choice in my corner. With the cost of repairs these days, even simple repairs can generate bills in the hundreds of dollars. My relatively minor co-pay relieves my worries about calling for help. I would recommend Choice to anyone.

I must admit, getting signed up with Choice was an exasperating experience. I found Ryan to be very helpful and made the experience more enjoyable. He walked me through the available plans and discounts and even got me to take the VIP option where I paid upfront 6 years which under my old plan would have been double. Choice is off to a good start.

Everyone that works at this company should be ashamed... Technician sent in his diagnosis then CHW changed it and denied the claim. Absolute joke. The review policy is done by the same in house people that deny the claims, it's set up so they never have to pay.

I am writing a review on here because it looks like the only way to get a response from this company. I complain air condition. Technician come and they diagnosed. They told me they sending to the company is take 24 hours. I wait 2 day but no response then I call customer service. They told me it's not cover. I will assign officer will follow up is something. No response. Please do not buy this company insurance because this company rip off. This my second and third time I pay my own pocket. I have a insurance 5 years but nothing cover. Worst experience customer if want to cancel your services but to not get your money.

New customer...First-time call in for claim a repair. Called in for A/C drain problem. Noticed leak a spots on kitchen ceiling. Was informed when I turn in claim, that technician would be assigned with 24 hours. When I called 26 hours later informed had not found a company to make service call. In meantime I have been cleaning up water. So during a conversation, I was informed I received email about option no one willing to work with warranty requirements. Used reliable A/C company and work completed except of course damage to ceiling.

Calling customer service is horrible if you 're asking about the contractor coming for service. She gave me a number to call...the same number I had just called HER on. And she sounded like she was outside, horrible background noise. It was a waste of time. As much as you're hounded to renew your contract, the customer service needs to improve. I won't be renewing.

My dishwasher was leaking badly and the detergent dispenser didn't work. The technician immediately repaired the leak and will be coming back with a new dispenser as soon as the part arrives. He was knowledgeable, fast, on time and very pleasant.

Air conditioner broke. Stopped working. Contacted Choice Warranty online, and within 20 minutes had an assigned company for the next day. The assigned company contacted us, showed up on time, and was able to fix our air conditioner without trouble. Our unit is 19 years old and in good condition, but second time this year we've been glad we had Choice Warranty for the air conditioner.

The claim submission process is simple and the response rate is very quick. I submitted my claim around 9 PM on a Sunday night and went to bed. When I woke up I had an appointment set for 2 days later which I feel is reasonable.

Sonny's gave a fair assessment of what was wrong with the wash machine. The repairman showed up at the time Choice Warranty said he would. All in all it was a good experience. I would recommend Sonny’s repair service. Choice Warranty offered me a fair value to what the wash machine is worth.

The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked quickly. He had our AC running in less than 15 minutes. The only downside is that it took 3 days for them to come out. The hot nights with no AC were miserable.

I thought it was my hot water heater and called it in. Curtis from C. B. Solutions found my problem -- it was a broken pipe on my air conditioner, and he fixed it for me for a very reasonable price. I was so relieved and grateful.

The automated call response was overly demanding to know when it was first noted. I would have liked to speak to a person for all the months I have paid the premium for two requests in 2 years. I called on a Friday and have to wait until next Tuesday for a plumber to come. I am having to bail out the sink every day.

CHW took my call on a Sunday evening and Automatic Garage Door Systems called and made an appointment with me for today Monday. Every aspect of this repair was very professional. I would recommend both CHW and Automatic Garage Door Systems to anyone.

AC has been out for over a week. Had to call several times to get what was needed from the technician to them for approval. Every person I talked to gave me a different answer. Even after it was approved was not told the process only the cost and needed my approval to proceed.

Very disappointed that you’ll denied repairs to my garage door opener, Very misleading!!! I led to believe that my plan covered garage opener which is the furthest from the truth, wanted to charge me $1700 to repair, Went with an outside company who charged me $500, with a lifetime warranty, so far you guys are a total ripoff , still had to pay $85 for a service call even though I didn’t receive any service…

CHW sent Rockin A Electric in Reno/Sparks NV to troubleshoot and repair an electrical problem with a circuit breaker. This company and their employees were awesome - prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Kept us informed each step of their troubleshooting process and informed us of the repair needed. They did not have the necessary parts with them, but returned within an hour with the needed parts and completed the job. We would highly recommend this company to anyone needing electrical repair or install.

The ac repairman they sent diagnosed my problem and got my ac running quickly, he explained everything everything and also told me I needed some additional things done. It was submitted and approved. Hopefully that goes well. Good to go so far.

He was polite but he charged me 75 instead of 65. And he was very persistent on the price. He wouldn’t take any reason or explanation to why it was 65. Other than that he was a good person. I like Choice Home Warranty and their staff.

The salesman’s that called me and offered the warranty told me that the company would cover my beverage refrigerator as a second refrigerator. Well the beverage unit went bad and now they say “we don’t cover beverage units”. BEWARE THIS COMPANY LIES TO GET YOU SIGNED UP THEN SCREWS YOU!!! Very disappointed.

It took a month for a service tech to get out to my home. I paid 88.40 for the service call and also paid for the hardware. The cost was way too high. I could have saved money if I would've hired my own service.

I filed a claim to diagnose problem with ice maker. Technician Joel from All American Appliance came to my home after a scheduling issue, but in a timely manner. He was professional, thorough and an expert. Paid him $65 co-pay. He recommended that the ice maker be replaced, and now I'm awaiting Choice's decision. When approved, Joel will order parts and come back to my home to replace ice-maker.

CHW authorized a replacement garage door opener with one feature missing that my previous door had. The motor does not have an overhead light that turns on when you enter the garage. My door laser sensors are not compatible with the new motor. My real problem with the service is that I had to pay an additional $455.64 out of pocket on top of the motor replacement paid by CHW. For these reasons, I can't offer a good review.

I put in a claim regarding my heat pump’s operation and within less than 24 hours I had a service technician come out to assess the issue and make recommendations. While my heat pump didn’t need anything more than a deep clean I appreciated the quickness of the response. I checked the reviews of the company that was sent out as well and they were rated high. They took before and after pictures to show me what was done.

After 7 weeks without a dryer, a technician was again assigned to come to our house, although he had filled out paperwork on the last visit (April 28) stating that it could not be fixed. 4 appointments were set up, but no one came. Now we are being offered $250 to replace a front load dryer on a pedestal. That is beyond ridiculous. I cannot wait to share my experience on Social Media.

Green Wire Appliance Repair balanced my refrigerator so the door would close properly. This should have been done with 1 visit not 2. They did a nice job. This call should not have been necessary, because Sears did not balance the refrigerator after they repaired it.

Reported about 3 different claims and issues and noticed all those were handled and addressed by technician to the best of satisfaction. Submitting or reporting an issue on their portal is very simple and easy and their response time absolutely reasonable and sometimes pretty quick. Compared to some other home warranty experiences other homeowners shared, I personally feel Choice Home Warranty is THE BEST.

I feel something needs to be done to speed up the process. Instead of a couple of days it should be hours. Using true local vendors would help. Possibly give the customer a list of local vendors so that we could contact them to see how quickly we could get service.

I put a claim in about my air conditioning not cooling my home on May 5th. A very nice company by the name of Guyette Air Conditioning came out and assessed the issue. We were told by the technician that they will be back Monday May 8th to repair after CHW review the pictures of the issue assessed. Not too long after the company left my home I received an email stating we were reassigned a technician. I left a written message in the claim notes letting CHW know that a technician did come out.
I ended up giving them a call I believe on May 6th or 7th trying to understand why we no longer can work with the Guyette Company and why hasn't someone come back out to fix the AC. A CHW representative told me that Guyette Air Conditioning company just didn't want to make the repair. Which I thought was weird because their technicians said that they will be back. So I called Guyette Air Conditioning and was told that CHW was very rude to them and did not want to accept the photos of the issue. They also told me that the claims representative from CHW hung up the phone. To treat a company in such a manner is just very unprofessional. And then to lie to a loyal customer is just a lack of integrity.
My family has been sitting in a 90 degree home since I submitted the claim. Fortunately, after calling CHW again, I was able to get my claim expedited. We are currently still sitting in a home that is about 90 degrees now waiting for the equipment for a new HVAC system to arrive. I have five children and a dog, the fact that this situation could have been solved already if CHW representatives were honest and less difficult is mind blowing. I do not know why I have a home warranty with premium coverage but cannot receive actual coverage or compassion. I do plan on ending my account with CHW as soon as my contract is up. Very disappointed.

Repair man came on time and fixed the problem. I now have the same problem and need to have a repair man come again. I have the same problem. A/C does not come on. Fan does not come on. This problem started when switching from heat to A/C.

The technician was great. He found the problem and although it needs a follow up because of parts needed to fix - I'm very pleased. They notified me of the time and day and it was faster than expected. I would recommend Joplin Repair and Choice Home Warranty to anyone who needs a home warranty as they are the best one that I've found and I have been on a couple of warranty plans that I definitely would not recommend. I'm telling my friends about your home warranty and the Joplin Repair company as well. I can't say enough about them.

The plumbers from 1st Choice Plumbing were excellent. They fixed the leaking shut off valve and found that the attached pipe to the outside faucet was split. It was reported to the warranty company and it was totally fixed within 2 days.

Technician did not rectify the issue! He removed the toilet, snaked the sewage line. That did not rectify the blockage. Advised he needed to install clean out valve in the yard mine was in the crawl space, he quoted 850., to install! Discovered job was bigger and more complicated. Your tech quoted 6000. I declined, he was unhappy and rude! He left without connecting the toilet back up. When I called him to advise he was rude once again and stated, "Get your new plumber to do it!!" Very disappointed with tech and service,

Technician came to service our broken AC. He was kind enough to come earlier, as we were going out for the evening. He covered his shoes before entering our home. He asked if we wanted him to wear a mask. He was able to determine what was wrong with the unit. He repaired it promptly. He also answered all of our questions. I would recommend Trusted Air.

My 22 year old Ac unit went out after a storm and Choice said being as the technician told them it was a power surge that made it stop working they would not cover it. Policy says normal wear and tear but AC units only warranty for 15 years and mine ran its 15 years. That says the unit did its normal wear and tear. Just because it kept running for several more years doesn't mean it was still in good condition. I got CHoice so in case the unit went out it would help me cover the costs but they wouldn't budge on paying anything on it. Very disappointed.

The original company that accepted my repair scheduled and confirmed the appointment twice, including morning of. Got an email after their window arrival time, rescheduling it for 3 weeks away! MJ was able to come within the next 2 days. They called prior to coming and were honest in their evaluation. They were able to confirm that there was no freon leak and the ice and water were safe despite a chemical like odor.

The technician was great and really explained everything. However, I won’t renew our home warranty with this company. Had a water leak and they only cover the repair of the leak not any damage that occurred from the leak which is frustrating, especially since we fixed the leak ourselves due to it being an emergency type leak with water dripping from our ceiling due to a busted AC drain pipe. Now we’re out the deductible since a technician came out but got nothing out of it. Going back to our old company American Home Shield because when we had a water leak they actually covered damage to our carpet and walls! Now we’re stuck paying to have our ceiling repaired or having to use our homeowners insurance. They also denied the repair of our Samsung freezer saying it was a manufacturer defect, which it’s not! Seems like this company just doesn’t want to fix things but wants to take your money.

Service technician was prompt, knowledgeable, communicated what he discovered and service he performed to get the unit running temporarily as he needed to perform a work around until parts ordered, received and installed. There was a little gizmo at the top of the door that matched the housing of the dishwasher that allowed the dishwasher to start a cycle. The rep fixed it and showed me how to correct the problem in the future, if needed.

The technician was very courteous and knowledgeable. He understood the issues with the AC system needing repair and was disappointed with the negative decision made by CHW by not approving the repair. As a customer of CHW, my wife and I were also very unhappy with that decision. However, we have a meeting scheduled with case managers on May 17.

Filing a claim was easy and quickly a tech arrived. Certain parts to our washer couldn’t be located so Choice Home Warranty is replacing it. The only negative thing I’m not satisfied with is instead of sending us a check, we will receive a Lowe’s gift card through email. We weren’t planning on purchasing a washer at Lowe’s but now we have no choice. I think we should be able to purchase from our choosing.

CHW has been unable to dispatch a technician to replace the motor for my swimming pool pump. I’ve been waiting since May 4th. In the meantime, the Pool is collecting algae because the water is not moving and the chemicals to prevent it cannot circulate. I fear that because of the long wait more problems will occur with the pool. I am a new customer and this is my first service call and the long way does not correspond with what I was told about your service and the wait time when I purchase my warranty. As you can understand this is not sit well with me.

I got an email explaining that Choice won’t cover testing or repair of my air conditioner but then got 2 subsequent emails saying the repair was approved good news. I need my unit to be repaired! Is it going to be covered? When I called for clarity the operator said she couldn’t see the good news message and said it would be assigned to a case manager. But it never happened. I need a call from a manager asap.

Tech from Anderson Air was exceptional. He called to advise that he was on time. He wore booties before entering the house. He thoroughly examined the system to find the problem and promptly made repairs and then tested the system.

I placed my claim with CHW to fix my dryers and a technician arrived a few hours later. However, the technician shared with me that CHW asks a lot of questions looking for any loophole to deny the claim. Shame on you CHW.

Case manager was very helpful and understood that sometimes things not normally covered under the warranty are still fair, wear and tear and honored my appeal without too much of an issue. I really appreciated it as it was not a large amount of money to repair. I also like Riley plumbing as they are very efficient and reasonable if there are additional charges.

You took 10 days from my first service call to get me a repairman to my house. He looked at toilet tank, said it was a fatigue crack and he could a new toilet installed as Soon as he got the ok from Choice. It took 5 hours before I heard my claim was denied!!!. I think the repair co. was too embarrassed to call. I immediately put a stop payment on the check and canceled my membership with Choice!!!! You lost 69.00 dollars a month because you wouldn't replace a 150.00 dollar toilet tank which your hired repairman said the crack was a fatigue crack. I'm surprised anyone does business with you.... He can diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He noticed a related issue and was able to get it repaired in the same visit. It took less than 90 minutes to complete the job. He was respectful of my property and cleaned up after himself.

I was very pleased to get my A/C fixed especially since it is May in San Antonio and it can get very hot. They need to expedite their process however as I had to wait over a week for repairs which was quite uncomfortable.

Checking leak in A/C coil and drainage troughs and AC operation and found everything to be in operative condition. The technician was very knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining the situation and was extremely thorough with his inspection of all the equipment that was being used and all of the materials that were needed. We found kitchen sink is leaking from the faucet, causing some water damage for the cabinet. Choice Home Warranty was able to help us find a plumber to set up the appointment quickly. The plumber came in on Sunday morning and was able to install a new faucet for us within an hour. Though we had to buy the faucet at our own cost, the issue was quickly resolved.

Choice sends out a repairman who says the unit has multiple issues. One of which is under Manufacturer's warranty. Choice won't authorize any repair until the manufacture take care of their part first. (One charge.) You get the manufacturer to do their part. You call choice out to do their part, but because they hadn't been notified about the manufacturer's repair they deny the claim...again. (Two charges.) You get them their proof of repair and they graciously approve the repair. But because they had denied the first claim, they had to set us a second claim to finish the repair....and you're sol on the second charge. Which was a carry over from the first claim.... There is something very wrong here....

Technician was great. However, case manager was rude and impatient. Offering 246 dollars for a new dishwasher was inadequate. Nowhere can one get a Néw dishwasher for that price. Paid thousands for multi year contract with Choice and boy am I sorry. Case manager hung up on phone in the middle of our talking.

I had a blower motor circuit board go out and it was replaced and covered by the warranty. Immediately after, a transformer in my A/C compressor went out. The tech was sent right back out thinking it was related to the first issue. When it was diagnosed, the tech had the part on his truck and took care of it on the spot, and it was a covered item too. I submitted a claim to Choice Home Warranty regarding my electric wall oven not cooking frozen dishes completely through without increasing the temperature or cooking the dish longer. CHW sent Prompt Appliance Repair LLC out to make a diagnosis. The technician said, "I needed a panel kit and would submit to CHW." CHW sent me an email that said, "Great news, We have determined the best long-termed solution is to replace your Oven Stove Cooktop."
Reading on in the paragraph it says, "In lieu of replacement, we are offering you Lowe's eGift Cards for $329.00." When they are trying to get your business, they tell you, "If we can't repair it, we will replace it." When you actually put them to the test, it becomes a different story. Ever since Prompt Appliance came out and tinkered with my oven it won't heat up anymore and the cooling fan continuously is running which will most likely increase my electric bill and probably creating another problem. Choice Home Warranty should get their contracted company out to my home to get my oven heating again so I can cook in it and turn off this fan. Remember, the oven was heating where I could cook in it and the fan wasn't running! People think twice before choosing home warranty companies, they aren't what they advertise to be and they are using substandard companies to save money.

I just received a call requesting another $65.00 for a new work order. I previously placed a work order from the home service club, (I don't know who this Choice warranty company is). I paid the $65.00 co-pay. While waiting for an appointment for the repairs, (two different technicians never showed up). They were both, no calls, no emails, no shows or no texts, nor did the home service club let me know that neither technician would not be coming. This is a very unusual situation, makes me wonder if HSC called any technicians at all, hmm.
A new problem aroused. Yes, I did call in a new order that occurred while I was waiting for my appointment to be completed. On May 7th, I told the C.S. Rep James, that I felt that I shouldn't have to pay an additional $65.00 co-pay because the home service club hires unreliable technicians. James told me that he could see that I had reported this issue and that I would be getting an email stating that I would be able to hire my own technician and that the home service club, (or Choice warranty or whatever their name is), would reimburse me, (now how would I know that?). The Home Service Club or choice warranty is asking for this additional $65.00, which I don't believe I should have to pay. I had previously asked if I could add this new job to my previous order. I was told that I would not be able to add this new order to my previous order.
After mulling this issue over, I called the home service club in order to verify if what C.S. Rep James told me was in fact correct, before I hired anyone. This morning I spoke with C.S. Rep Guillermo, and he told me that the home service club, or whatever their name is, was, no longer offering that option to their customers, hmm, did James have or just tell me incorrect information? Hmm. I called my financial institution to stop any more ACH debits from my account by the hsc. When and, if the work order is completed, I will be firing them. If hsc does not hold up their end of the contract, I will put them on BLAST, with every social platform that there is, The BBB, and I will see them in court!! Who is this choice warranty company anyway, this is not who I signed up with. This company is playing games. I wouldn't recommend it to another human, dog, cat, bird, rat, skunk, you name it, etc.

Contractor (both of them) were fine. Choice apparently doesn't have enough vendors in my San Jose area to affect a repair in a timely manner. First one came within a day to evaluate leak but second one (for a second opinion probably because the cost to repair of the first was too "high") was EIGHT days later all the while the leak continued. Ten (10) days later the problem is still unrepaired. Won't be using Choice anymore once annual contract is done.

We had been told that our water heater was leaking and it needed to be replaced to the tune of $3,000. Since we have Choice Home Warranty, we made a claim. Jason from Pike's Peak Mechanical inspected the water heater and said there's no sign of leakage. He was professional, friendly and honest. I recently made a claim as the HVAC system in my home would not turn on. Network HVAC came out and stated that my wire was blown because it was pinched between drywall and a beam. This analysis puzzled me because unless the “specialist” had X-Ray vision and could see through the wall to make this determination there was no way to officially determine this to be the cause of why my systems would not turn on. So, because of this “evaluation,” CHOICE stated that my repairs could not be covered under the terms of wear-and-tear. As you can imagine this was upsetting to me and so I appealed the decision, this is where I discovered that CHOICE is not such an upstanding company.
My appeal was scheduled for Monday, May 1st at 1:30 PM, which I picked as it was my lunch period. Needless to say, a CHOICE representative Tamika **, called me at 1:00 pm just to inform me that she had the final say in the appeal and she was not approving the repairs to my HVAC system. Because I was in my class with students and this call came in 30 minutes prior to my scheduled time I attempted to express my concerns in a timely fashion. I even requested a second opinion based on my concerns. Tamika was crass and unwilling to hear my concerns, she informed me that I could sue, but as far as she was concerned this case was closed. As consumers we must be intentional in how we allow companies to treat us, we give our money and they treat us poorly.
If this reaches just one person, please be aware that CHOICE is not a fair company and they do not stand by their word. I suggest looking into another home warranty company and doing extensive research and looking at reviews. Look at how others express how they are treated by the company, this is important because as patrons we work hard every day to earn a living and we can’t waste our hard-earned dollars for companies that don’t appreciate our business. I also suggest that you be careful because I had to search through many engines, just to leave a review on their site, that is a telling sign that the company only wants to report positive experiences, and that is an enormous red flag. Please be mindful, we don’t have money to waste. ZERO STARS IS MY ACTUAL RATING!

The Tech you sent was very good. I am totally pleased with him. But CHW I am very surprised and disappointed. If I am ever sent a survey I will acknowledge that on the survey. Tech found thermostat was not operating and needed replacement. CHW authorized him to replace it with new up to $80. The one that was broken was Pro1 T701I. No idea of cost or availability. I do know it was WiFi, as are 60 other devices in my home. Why is CHW do replacing broken with equal or better parts? CHW is approving only the part that degrades that system. Will be hard for me ever answer a survey with good results for that reason. Customers should never be forced to use parts that do not have equal or better options. Other than that the repair was very professional, quick and great. Your tight-fisted decision ruined that final outcome.

I prepaid a 4 year CW contract and have neve used the warranty. I bought this to cover my AC if it went out. it did and I made a claim and you denied it. You said you don't cover corrosion in coils. I have now spoken with 4 HVAC people that said ALL AC units will eventually have corrosion as that is part of the wearing process. I will neve use you again and I am an internet influencer and have over 80,000 followers. Everyone of them is going to know what a bad company your are.

The company who came out to replace the garage door opener…motor is no good…have yet to hear back from Choice about what is covered. When I call and speak to someone, I am told it is covered at 100%. When the garage door company first came out, they said CHW barely covered anything. CHW wants your business but trying to get someone at CHW to give you an answer is nonexistent.

We already had a technician come out Friday to look at it and he told them what it was going to take to fix it. I bought and paid for, upfront, a long term home warranty, and paid extra for my ice maker, pool and spa. When the ice maker went, it literally took an act of congress to get them to even send a tech out, they kept insisting I did not have the coverage. Then, just 4 days after their warranty expired, their replacement ice maker died. I went thru the same challenges again... When I had problems with the spa, they sent out an untrained, unlicensed, random person doing business in the pool industry who wrote up a fallacious report about the pool being installed contrary to code, even tho I kept inspection papers in a lock box nearby and showed them to her, the pool and spa had been there over 30 years and nothing she wrote about in her report came close to addressing the problem. Additionally, she caused further damage to my pool, for which I had to sue her. I filed a complaint against her with FL-DBPR.
I won my case, but CHW, still refused to pay the claim. Finally, when my a/c failed, they sent out an unlicensed technician, who lied about doing a freon test, for which he charged me $150. When another HVAC tech came out, he took pictures showing me no freon test was ever done by CHW's so called carefully screened technician, Gio ** of GT Air Conditioning and that upon checking with FL-DBPR, I learned that there were complaints filed against Gio ** in 2015 and 2016 for his work defective, unlicensed HVAC work with CHW, and he still was not licensed.
CHW had sent me a denial letter for the a/c claim before Gio ** came off the roof citing the reason for the denial as the moment he poured in the freon into the unit, he leaked out completely. When I appealed, with pictures showing no freon had ever been poured in, CHW never responded. My account number was **. The claim number was **. They had a consumer advocate named Mercedes ** contact me and offer me $400 to remove my bad reviews. She claimed the unlicensed HVAC tech stated in his report that the a/c unit was low on freon. Since I had a licensed HVAC tech check it, take pictures and write a report, I was able to refute his report. They are the worst. There is no sense in contracting with them when you are going to get stuck paying for repairs anyway.

It took a week for you to find a tech, then I waited a week for him to show, which he didn't! You then rescheduled with the same tech and had to wait another week for him to show, which he didn't! Finally, after threatening to cancel my policy, I was reassigned to a new tech, which was one that I've dealt with before. I only waited two days for him to show and he was fast, friendly, and professional! Questioning why you didn't go with them in the first place?? Still debating on whether to renew or not when the time comes.

I called at 8:30 PM to report an air-conditioning problem. Within 1/2 hour I had a message that someone would be at my home the following day. Man arrived at 10AM and fixed the problem. OUTSTANDING SERVICE. Certainly my CHOICE!

I've placed two claims and in both cases, the revision process has been extremely slow. I'm worried of what could happen if I have a critical problem/failure in my house that need urgent repair but I have to wait days or week for you to respond.

I have always been skeptical of home insurance companies, but current economic pressures pushed me towards taking a chance on a home insurance plan. After researching the major home warranty companies, it came down to my comfort level with the sales representative that I spoke with. I chose Choice Home Warranty. 6 months later I filed my first claim and hoped for the best. I filed my claim on 5/3/23 and the repair was completed on 5/5/23. Two days exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the outcome of this claim. A standard has been established and I fully expect that future claims will be handled in this very professional and timely manner. I was offered a very low replacement amount for our washer, but had to accept because CHW would not increase the amount. Only after speaking with three representatives, and accepting the payout, was I informed that it would be ANOTHER 30 DAYS before we would receive an eGift card from Lowe's (the only store we could use) so still have to spend more money to go to a laundromat for the next month! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Kitchen faucet leaking and needed replacing. They replaced it and stopped the leak in at least thirty minutes to an hour. They also cleaned up their mess and I am so very grateful to Choice Home Warranty for selecting this company to do the repair.

Waited 2 days with no response for our HVAC issue. We called and the claim department gave authorization to seek out our own technician. Waited 3 more days for Choice to make an appointment. By which we were tired of waiting. So we hired based on local reviews. He was great. 10/10 North American HVAC. But then was told after he came and we paid. The Choice warranty would NOT REIMBURSE us, which we did not satisfied with.

I was very pleased with the work Juan did for us. It appears that he was able to find the source of our leaks and was able to provide a solution. We're waiting for the silicone sealant to cure before testing the seals. We will need a contractor to repair the holes in our bathroom ceiling that were made to gain access to the necessary pipes & fittings. We hoping they can replace the missing sheetrock with an access panel for future access to the plumbing.

We have had warranty plans in the past and have chosen this one as the best for us. We are in our 80’s and this is the best program for us. My husband is very knowledgeable about electricity and plumbing. But it is not so easy to be getting up and down anymore. We looked at other programs and this seems financially the best. The Company has a good reputation for service.

Last yr I experienced a lot unprofessionalism all around. Had someone check my air conditioner…first person I received never got back, second company had an attitude because they had every intention on not showing up until I called toward the end of appt time which was kind of late. Showed up with an attitude, changed a part. When asked if he checked the coolant he said no and left. When I called Home choice because it was cooling but not like it usually does. They told me I needed to pay another fee. So now it is leaking in the hallway. Hopefully this transaction will be better. Had a courteous customer rep THIS time. Even the ones I encountered last yr were argumentative. Almost canceled this warranty.

Tech arrived in timely manner and resolved our problem quickly. He was very thorough and made sure the water softener was working properly before he left. Very satisfied. He also instructed me on how to reset unit. He advised me if unit malfunctioned after he left to just call him and he would come back.

Jones Overhead Door came out and the garage door started working after they pulled it up. My husband and I had to manually close it Saturday night. He said nothing could be repaired at this time but it was not up to code. We replaced the old one. We were out the $85.00 fee plus the price of the overhead door. I hope it doesn't work that way every time we call. That was the reason we changed to your company.

2. A call for a clogged sink took almost 4 days for a reply-- I ended up doing the work myself, and;
3. The same tech who came to fix my dryer door apparently only changed part of the latch and the fix only lasted 3-4 months before I had to call back to have same issue resolved. Fortunately, the Sears tech was very helpful and professional--but I ended up paying 2 service calls for the same issue with the same dryer.

I'd recommend technician Ron from A&E Factory Services ANY day. Trustworthy and professional. Knew troubleshooting skills and got 'er done! Another positive is that he called approximately 30 minutes prior to show up time. Where I didn't appreciate the hours given to me, 7am - 6pm, Ron, at least, called to let me know he was on his way.

We replaced what was a top-of-the-line washing machine. Your max offer was $547. I talked to a case manager and they said my washing machine did not match your top-tier level and would not pay more. I asked them to show me where I can purchase any front-load washing machine for this amount. I just went online and searched and there is not one below the cost of $698. The one I am purchasing with a huge discount is $749. It has features like the one I am replacing. I understand that I may need to add money to get nice features, but I don't think I should have to add money to purchase the cheapest front-load washing machine available. The max amount you offer to replace an appliance should be at least equal to the price of the cheapest one your customer can purchase.

Updated on 05/17/2023: A tech initially came out and replaced a blown fuse. The air handler stopped working again the next day. Tech returned several days later and concluded the 19-yr old blower motor needed replacement. Choice home warranty refused to approve the expenditures because the blower motor was dirty. I spoke with a Case Manager who refused to spend anything to offset the cost of the new blower motor. Refused to acknowledge that the blower motor age could have contributed to its demise.
Original Review: Initial response was fine - we were assigned a new vendor (Air It Cool) because we had had terrible experiences previously with the originally assigned vendor (Air Zone). The tech arrived on Friday May 5 and repaired wires and a blown fuse. It worked through Friday but was NOT working Saturday morning. We called Air It Cool Saturday, left a message, and called again Monday morning. They are sending someone over tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. Hopefully they will determine if the fuse blew again, and why, and fix the source of the problem..

The plumber worked with our schedule and arrived on-time and set right to work. Multiple problems were identified and repaired. He cleaned up after himself and left everything neat and orderly. Excellent job. I would definitely use this contractor again.

CHW is a great company and offers a product at a great price. They do need to update their web page to better serve existing customers. I needed to cancel a claim and could not online. I also could not verify the claim had been canceled. I was able to contact CHW by phone to cancel the service call.

I tried to turn on my AC May 6 and nothing happened. I called Choice Home Warranty (for the first time ever), They were great and set up an appointment time for me. Today, May 8, the most professional and courteous AC repairmen arrived at my home, They checked out the situation and very quickly knew the problem I had. A very important part of my central air and heating unit didn't work anymore. They had the needed part in their truck, got it, installed it and now I am sitting in a very cool and comfortable home. I am so glad I trusted and bought into Choice Home Warranty. Orlando the Technician and Alex the Technician in Training did a fabulous job representing their Company O&N Cooling and Heating. The Service tech said the service fee was $75, and then the invoice said $65. My mistake for not looking at the invoice before I wrote out the check but would be helpful if the tech was made aware of the service fee before arriving at the appointment.

Waited days for technician to come to repair my washer. When he came on May 2, 2023 he diagnosed the problem and ordered parts. It is now May 8 and parts are not all here. No one has been able to tell me when the parts will arrive but I was given an estimated delivery date of May 15. Technician cannot be rescheduled until parts arrive. I have offered to buy parts if I could be reimbursed but no one has been able to give approval for this. Waiting this long for repair is totally unacceptable.

Hector of Robert & Sons AC & Heating repaired my AC by finding the issue right away. It was a simple issue, but the AC would not turn on. Then I agreed to clean the condenser on the outside AC unit. He did that quickly & efficiently and showed pictures of before & after. I would call then again for sure.

He was very flexible with my schedule, as soon as he arrived and checked the unit, he provided me with clear summary about the issue, he worked on it in an hour or so and had my AC providing cool air again.

He was courteous, and professional and diagnosed the problem pretty quickly. He had to order the part, so hopefully the fix for our issue goes as smoothly!

Technician resolved the problem. The problem was due to the suction vacuum created in the drain line that has caused the water not able to be released to the drain pipe. The solution was to add a drain opening port to release the vacuum but keep the condensate flow path open.
