Machine has been seen by four technicians and so far it is not working. Each one has a different fix, but none of the ‘fixes’ have taken care of the problem. I have another scheduled appointment for next Thursday (if the part arrives). So far I have paid out two deductibles with my success.

I was given several appointments times that never materialized. I live alone and had to wait several day without a call saying I needed to reschedule, however when the texnection and I finally connected I was very satisfied with his knowledge of the problems I was having. I am now waiting to be connected be a supervisor from Choice warranty.

Turned it in this morning, had a scheduled Sears Technician at our home this afternoon at approximately 4 p.m. He checked it out, had the part, replaced it, and was done by 5 p.m. Best service we've received from Choice so far. He called ahead of time, and I was sent an email about this appointment as well. The whole process was very simple, quick and easy.

I was having problems with the washing machine. A claim was made online and a few hours later, I received an email stating that Sears will be the service provider. Sears contacted me with the day and time that someone would arrive. Mario called with a shorter time span and called again when he was on his way. I'm glad that Choice Home Warranty has competent, respectful and friendly service providers.

I bought the protection from CHW for $1000 with good faith. Turns out they very slow to get a technician to analyze the problem with my water heater. When he finally came, he said I needed a new heater for it was old couldn’t stay on. I waited and waited and CHW never responded with another technician. Therefore I was forced to find my own. The new technician was here within a day. I talked to Alex and gave him the new technician’s diagnosis. Unfortunately Alex did not put the diagnosis into the computer. I thought he did and that I had permission to have a new heater installed and paid for. When I called CHW today to ask which pictures to send in for all my efforts would not go through. The representative told me that I didn’t have pre approval and therefore would not be reimbursed. I am very angry and feel that this was not my fault. What kind of company are they? Is this their way of getting out of reimbursing their customers?

Response time for company to get a technical person to contact me was 28 days, then after authorizing the work they declined the work order because of a problem they felt voided the work not understanding the complete process, am canceling my account (refund expected) and would not recommend this company to anyone.

I called Choice Warranty at 8:30 am to get someone out to fix my air conditioner. 8:30 pm I received an email saying that they were unable to get a HVAC technician out to my home, but gave me the option to hire my own contractor. I did he can out the next day and I explained that Choice Warranty would work with his company as long as my technician filled their requirements and sent them to Choice Warranty. He did, even called customer service and asked if they needed anything else from him. They accepted his paperwork, I had to pay the technician in full, Choice Warranty will refund me the cost minus the service charge. My air conditioner is working and my technician and the customer service agent worked together to solve my problem.

I made a claim Sunday and the next day Monday, I had Sears assigned for my dryer repair. They were proactive and asked for model # and another description of what could be wrong. I got an appt assigned for Wednesday and the window was 8-5....that would not be reasonable to the normal working person but I work from home and it was ok. I got a million reminders in 2 days. He arrived by 10am and took dryer apart and replaced something. An hr or so later he called me over and turned it on for me to listen. The original sound was gone but there was still a scraping sound and I told him I can't sign off because last week there was no sound. He got quick approval from Choice to order different parts which are being shipped to my house and I have a new appt time in a full week. The dryer is usable and I admire the diligence to get the dryer completely fixed. My deductible of $65 is well worth it.

Choice Home Warranty has been nothing but outstanding and remarkable. Since we have been a customer. We have had an issue with our pool pump, dishwasher, and air conditioner. Every single time we notified Choice they have responded immediately and within a few days we have had a tech in our home fixing the issue. Every tech has been nothing but professional and courteous. 1000% great service every time...

Leo discussed the renewal coverage and listened to my previous experienced. He was able to assist me on my concerns. They provided me options on the renewal. His Manager was able to accept the option. He told me about new coverage and they listened to their clients. What made me renew is they give me great options and discussed the full coverage and new great things with the company.

The call to customer service did not appear to be answered from a US-based center. There was a little language barrier, but he seemed to get the job done. I understand people in other countries need to work too, but so do people in US.

Gifted Air Conditioning repaired our air conditioner. I had this issue before. The system was backed up and they spent more time on this repair than the previous company. As a result, it appears that they took the time to remove the entire blockage. Great service, very satisfied. I would request Gifted Air Conditioning in the future.

On time and introduced himself right away. Was very efficient and knew what he was doing. He showed me what had gone wrong with the water heater and answered all my questions. He said this was not untypical for this to go out. Need to order parts for the heater then will come back to install.

The agent was extremely helpful in assisting me with my enrollment. I really love that they offer a Senior Discount! I hope that Choice Warranty will be as easy to deal with should I need service. Tracy ** called me within minutes of requesting information and was super helpful. I was switching from a competing company and explained that their prices were ridiculous so she went over all the plans you offer and I picked the one that made the most sense for me. She was so great, I'd highly recommend this company as well as talking directly to Tracy (I have her number!).

Still waiting for assigned contractor for completion of work order for AC leak. Sears came but cannot finish the work since they don’t do part of leaking water. Hope will get work completed soon. Sears already submitted report and received payment from us. Evaluation done as requested. The technician already told us he did all he can.

Services rendered were leaking faucet in bathtub. The time from initial report to being serviced was quick and timely. The technician and their company, were very professional and timely. The contracting company called, introduced who the technician would be to provide the service, and scheduled the appointment time. The technician also called 30 minutes prior to arrival. Provided the service timely and went over what they completed.

Pleasant technician....explained the issue thoroughly. Stated what needed to be done to correct the problem. Apologetic for the delay in getting the new water line replaced. Secured an appt. To complete the repair before leaving. Have received parts for the repair. Was able to reschudle the appt. to an earlier date than set up originally. Easy to use website to come dates and times. Please refer to my submitted appeal to this claim. The information contained in the 3 e-mails received from Choice were contradictory and led to a service fee paid to a technician that should not have occurred. As a result an appeal was filed with a detailed accounting of the issue. Still waiting to be connected with a case manager.

Agent was very polite and patient. Explained details that we didn't understand fully. Offered information we were not aware of, such as Military and Veterans Plans. Very satisfied with the transaction. We would feel good to recommend this service to our family and friends. The Agent went over each plan to make sure we understood what it entailed and gave us quotes for each plan.

On 6/14/23 I placed a warranty claim for a Garbage Disposal leaking. The claim was processed and within two hours the plumber responded, troubleshot the problem and submitted the request for repair to the warranty department. Within an hour the plumbing company returned with a new Disposal and the disposal was replaced. All of this was accomplished in the same day!

I put a claim in for Choice Home Warranty online. They responded with my appointment info quickly. The technicians came in a timely fashion. Did the work in a timely fashion. All but one outlet was working including the dishwasher. They knew what the problem was, and got to work. They restored and power in my kitchen. Shout out to Eric C's Electrical Co.

Since we joined we have been pleased with Choice each claim was addressed quickly. When after 3 visits my refrigerator could not be fixed they gave me a reasonable amount of $ towards a new one. The only negative is that there is no consistency in the companies providing service.

Tech was awesome. He was friendly, fast and efficient. He reached out when First Choice had set my appointment much later and asked if I wanted him to come sooner. My AC was back up and running before noon. Amazing. I’ve had good techs both times someone came out from First Choice. Just getting someone to come out is the biggest challenge. But this time it was quick. AC went down Tuesday and they had a tech out by Thursday.

So far Choice has been fine. Better than the home warranty service I had before. Service was fast but the replacement time frame for an appliance was extremely too long. I was given a 30 day range for a refrigerator. Who can go 30 days without a refrigerator. So turnaround time could improve.

We had some plumbing issues and the group that CHW sent out were exactly the right company. The plumber was knowledgeable, was forthright in his explanation of the problems and the repairs which would be needed. He was efficient with his time and all was resolved in one visit. This was my first time having to go through Choice for an issue with one of my appliances. I am kind of disappointed. When I contacted Choice about both my washer and dryer not working properly, which basically happened at the same time, I was told I had to pay for 2 technician visits, even though it was all done in one visit. To me it makes no sense and when I purchased the insurance that was not explained to me. I had to pay $170 for a technician visit to change a knob.
Also, I found out through the technician that if there was no repair, which could happen as my machines are old (they came with the house when I bought it in Oct 2022), Choice wouldn’t “give me” new ones. I would probably be “given” gift certificates from Lowe’s or Home Depot in whatever the amount my machines would be worth it - which wouldn’t be much at all as they are old. Also something that was not explained when I purchased the insurance. I was the one contacted by Choice when I bought the house and this makes me feel that I was given misleading information just so that I would get the insurance. Well, I hope there are no more surprises in the future.

The service and the individual providing were great. The service provider was punctual, professional and friendly. He provided valuable information about my HVAC unit, and shared information on how I can avoid future problems with the unit. My problem/concern is the length of time it took for this service to be provided. It has also been weeks since I contacted this company for another issue that needs to be fixed. There has been no contact or follow-up from Choice Home. I'm very frustrated!!!!

I filed a claim for air condition repair on Monday and by end of Monday still no response. Air went completely out and all day Tuesday no pick up. They contacted me by phone and said they were working on it. I would not do a reimbursement form as I got shafted last time doing this. I reached out to the contracted person who came last time to house for same equipment and let them know what was going on and he picked up my claim immediately and was out first thing in the morning. Would not suggest a home warranty to anyone. When their sales rep called to try and get me to take another year. I said no wanted to know why let him know and he hung up on me. Not good customer service or Sales.

Beginning of the call he was really nice and sweet. I had already told him that my microwave was not working and he did not say anything at that point. He gave me all the great contracts that they have. Finally at the end he said anything that is already broken is not taken care by them. I was very honest about what I wanted. You can check if calls are recorded. I asked him to cancel the plan he was rude!! He just cut the phone saying I don't cancel--- I just get people to enroll and the tone was really really bad.. You are talking to a customer. You can't get upset if they do not want the plan!!!!

From submitting the claim to paying the service fee, the process was seamless. Very user friendly. It was an easy to use interface and even though I had to reschedule my appointment, no worries. The tech that arrived (after providing an 45 min warning) identified the problem with our washer and fixed it under an hour.

Parts ordered were wrong both times! Been waiting and my fridge not working properly for 2 weeks now!! This is ridiculous!!! Terrible service so far! Sears tech asked me to complain to Home Choice for better results to possibly expedite the matter. Hope someone in customer service cares enough to call Sears and get me this part I’ve been waiting for! So far this has been a nightmare! Don’t know if I’ll recommend this company to anyone I know.

I am really happy with the response of Choice when I request a service for my non-working HVAC unit. After my request, I received a call from the company assigned to me in less than 24 hrs. I was pleased with the service though the problem has not been addressed completely due that the unit started working since was an electrical problem since the unit is tripping the break box.

In talking with Customer Service twice, I was impressed with the agents' efforts and understanding of the situation. I appreciated the plumber who inspected under the house. Called on Monday. Gentleman was here promptly Tuesday morning. However, today’s Thursday and I still do not have a replacement heater. I agreed to the 380 for my cost. I’m hoping to get a hot water today. I am waiting for the warranty people to give him a pick up and be able to come and install it. Two days should be enough. When it happened, I had water all over my garage floor. Definitely bladder was broken and is not fixable is why it Has to be replaced. It was eight years old which I thought was young but they tell us it’s usually six years is a max on new water heaters. They don’t make them like they used to. The gentleman is extremely knowledgeable and is very polite and kind. I’m just hoping that you will OK the pick up and delivery so he can install it so I can have hot water to take a shower do dishes and return to an over normal life. I was extremely pleased with All Star Pools. They called, emailed and then called before they came for the repair. The person who came was very friendly, knowledgeable and and courteous. I could not be happier, 5 stars.... I was unable to get any suction from my motor and there was no pressure on the filter. The problem was fixed and my pool is once again running fine.

Great service. Gave me a fair price on replacing my microwave. I have used my Choice Warranty and every time it was used they have treated us right. The only thing I would have to say negative is it did take longer than usual for a tech to come out and check out the microwave. Other than that I am satisfied with the service Choice Warranty has to offer. I have had Choice Warranty for 8 or more years. They do take care of their customers.

Work got done in timely manner even it was a peak season by the assigned technician by the customer service team. We found that our AC unit was not working so contacted my Choice Home warranty CS team and work assigned quickly and got done in a week time. Keep it up. Best wishes.

I was very pleased with the technician. However, very disappointed that the dishwasher could not be fixed and was only offered $249 for replacement cost. The average dishwasher on the market is $400 - $500. So after the $85 service fee, I only have $241 to purchase a new dishwasher. Very Disappointed.

I finally received contract & I have a few questions. During discussion with agent-Rob he indicated a yearly cost of $ 1,200.00 with Free month. Cost on contract is $1,388.00. Rob also mentioned a better rate if we lock in a 6 yr. contract pre-paid - we declined and he offered a 3 yr. contract pre-paid with 6 months FREE if I was a Veteran (Yes) and a senior? (Retired). None of that is spelled out in Front page of e-mail. I will be reviewing contract fully tomorrow and and may call Choice if not what is mentioned is not included. Thank you.

It’s great when they can find a contractor in your area. Just takes a while to find a contractor that will contract with home warranties. After a contractor is found-repairs are usually quick. It does save us money in the long run when something major happens. Just wish it was a quicker turn around to get things repaired.

This was my first experience with CHW. My refrigerator and dishwasher had problems about the same time. Nick from Appliance Care Specialist, found the refrigerator problem in a timely & efficient manner, explaining the problem so I could understand. Nick, was polite, respectful, knowledgeable and helpful. Ryan from Zack’s Appliance Repair, on time, neatly dressed, professional and friendly, knowledgeable, prepared and fixed the problem with the dishwasher. Ryan also explained the problem for my understanding. I will recommend CHW to family/friends.

Technician stated a I had a mechanical failure but Choice Home Warranty doesn't consider broken tubes to be mechanical. The ac technician stated this is a wear and tear common problem and would be an easy fix. The amount I have paid choice on top of the service call has already costed more than the fix itself.

The representatives I talked to were patient and answered my questions. I was trying to choose between three companies I had been reviewing on searches of top warranty companies. Like all the companies I talked to they push hard, but Choice did back off enough for me to make a choice instead of using almost bullying tactics.

You have indicated that it is resolved. It is not. The technician says he has to order a climate control panel. They are still waiting on the part. Please reopen this claim as it still has not been resolved. I am not real happy about how long it is taking to get this fixed.

I will be canceling this service because it has not lived up to any of the money they have deducted from my account monthly. When you call Home Warranty you cannot understand the person on the phone. Tech came and diagnosed issue promptly and rectified the problem. Technician also explained what was wrong nd what he did to correct it. Did not spend time wondering what was wrong. Came in, asked questions pertaining to the problem and proceeded to diagnose. After he finished he gave me some tips on managing my usage and maintenance of the unit that would help to keep unit running smooth.

The technician arrived within the timeframe set and called when he was 30 minutes out. He Assessed the problem, made repairs and checked to make sure no other leaks were present. He gave suggestions on proper care of the product to avoid same problem in future.

My experience with the service was good, but I’m still waiting on the plumber to return because one of my toilet upstairs is still running. I called to report this the very next day, and he said he would return to my home next Tuesday, but I haven’t heard from him since. My microwave broke and the repair was completed I believe within 24h of submitting the claim, so it was simple, speedy, and effective. In fact, most claims have gone fairly well so far. Nothing critical comes to mind at this time.

I placed order at 6:56 am 0n 06/08.. It was not noted on your website until after 10 am. and I received an e-mail stating I would be hearing from someone within 6 hours (never happened). I put a message on your site stating I am disabled and need problems resolved asap so I can leave the house for therapy. I received another e-mail stating only that you received my e-mail. I called customer service and after being transferred around was advised that no matter that the email said contact it could still take 24 more hours.
I received text 24 hours later stating someone would be out between 11am and 3 pm (never happened). I waited all day Thursday and Friday and I realized that it was actually scheduled for Saturday. I left my house and returned at 10:30 to a message stating my case was put on hold when I was not home at 9:30 (1 1/2 hours before scheduled). They put it back in the rotation and because I had no more interaction with CHOICE everything went smoothly. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN.

The tech arrived within the allotted time frame. Explained the problem and how he would correct it. He had to order the parts and will return on the 22nd of June to install the new parts. He was very professional.

I am pleased with the repair people, but not with the company. My repairs have all been rescheduled several times. I take off from work to be home on the day of my appointment for service and no one shows up. I was told that someone came by at a certain time, which was a lie. I was sitting in my living room waiting. I checked the camera. No one rang my doorbell. After that when I spoke to someone and asked to talk to a supervisor I was told no one is available. I left my phone number, no return call.

Your company has denied repair of my air conditioner twice recently. It is normal wear and tear that is the issue., which you denied. I’ve been told that your company is notorious for denying claims. I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), as well as reporting to others.

Always dread when I need a repair since it normally drags out for 2-3 weeks (over 3 months once) before the item is functional again. Being summer in AZ and an a/c unit failing I was planning for the worse. To my delight the company was able to come to my house within 3 days (over a weekend). The tech diagnosed the issue and said they would submit the claim for repair but to not get my hopes up. Turns out the repair was covered 100% and they came out the next day to complete the repair. This is by far the easiest and most satisfying experience I have ever had using your warranty product. My NPS for your company went from a 4-5 to a 8 based on this single experience. The technician well, He came to my house very soon about 2 hours after I put the claim on the CHOICE website. He performed the inspection of my A/C unit, and he performed his diagnosis. But he gave me a diagnosis and resolved my problem temporarily since a major repair is not authorized as indicated by the technician himself. I hope my A/C doesn't fail too soon.

My AC unit was acting up. I have a service contract with a local company to service the unit in spring and fall. Part of that contract is emergency maintenance. I called them to explain the issue and they were available the same day. I also called Choice to find out my options if the repair extended my local contract. Choice explained I needed to open a claim and both myself and the company had to file the paperwork on the choice website for reimbursement. Fortunately the fix was no cost to me so no further action was needed. The only issue that could have arose was when I asked to close out the claim, I was told that I would not be eligible for reimbursement because prior approval was not met. Although due diligence was done on my part to find out the process, they were still telling me they would not cover? Well, we won’t know how this would have turned out because Red Dog is a very good company with great service contracts

My Bosch dishwasher was not fixable. To replace a comparable dishwasher would cost over $1000. I was offered $246. I still have to negotiate with an adjuster but I am shocked at how low the offer was. When I bought the insurance, the salesman guaranteed me that Choice would REPLACE my appliance, regardless of age, with a new appliance. It is not possible to buy any dishwasher for $246.

Well a plumber came out to my house to cut a hole in the wall and found the leak in between the wall. This is not why I am not happy. It is because the plumber had to wait for y'all's approval to go ahead and repair the problem. Meanwhile I had to wait another day with the hole in the wall in my living room. Wasn't there already an approval when y'all had him show up. Another thing, he said he wasn't going to repair the wall when finished that there would be someone else that had to repair the wall. Now with that, I hope there is no charge for the other person coming out to repair the wall. That should be included in the original work order. Please feel free to call me **. Unhappy customer.

I was very pleased with the technician that was sent from choice. Since I have get my own AC check ups I will use Feniv's again. My only suggestion for the future is that if I have another ticket for my AC which I will since the inside unit was not replaced. I should be able to use the same company I had before as I don't want 2 or 3 different companies looking at my units. I want one that already knows my system.

We bought a house and we purchased a Choice Home Warranty service. 10 months after the house the water went bad and CHW denied the water heater replacement due to it being an 80 gal heater. Looking at the agreement, water heater was included. However, looking at website fine print, they exclude and do not cover water heater over 75gals. I appealed asked them to replace it with a 75 or smaller and they still denied. Flat out will not pay anything out if the original one exceeds 75gals. What a waste for us to pay $700 or more on this warranty.

I just switched to Choice from another company after doing a LOT of research. I submitted my info to get a quote then read the details of the agreement, and finally signed on and paid. When I went to my email, I had received a confirmation and welcome, but also several offers for BETTER TERMS! Since I had not checked my email between submitting my info and signing up, I did not see these until after I had paid. Not a huge deal, but pretty irritating. Obviously, I have not used the service yet, so I can't speak to how claims etc. will be handled, but I am a little upset that I lost out on some small savings by paying for a whole year without checking my email first -- because I was not expecting better offers from the same company that had just given me a quote!

Updated on 06/13/2023: I hate saying this. I have been waiting for 2 days to hear from a plumber. I finally spoke to the plumber from my previous warranty company & he told me no one will work for Choice because they have a hard time getting paid. You offer a lot of coverage, but it is worthless if you have no one to cover it. As a homeowner & small trades family I see both sides. I reinstated my payment on the other company this morning. I will be waiting to see who gets me a plumber first. This is no reflection on your call staff by the way. They are as helpful as possible. You need to clean house in accounting and possibly management.

I called for some information and the young lady, actually, everyone from start to finish was very helpful, but the young lady at the end was remarkable. When I have plumbing problems, I go into what my husband calls "spin mode". He's right. I know this and try really hard to tamp it down. The people in your company helped me a lot. I purchased over 2 years worth of warranty with Choice Home Warranty after being told they covered all air-conditioners, appliances etc. First my smaller air conditioner stopped and they refused to fix or replace. I even hired an independent company to assess and they wrote Choice and told them they were wrong and they still would not pay. Later my larger air conditioner went out and again they refused to fix or pay. Then they had the nerve to ask me to resign when the 2 years were up.

The repairman came out, saw the code and said he knew exactly what the issue was, he would submit the claim, and come back to install faulty part. A week or so later, a guy came out put on a part and left. My dishwasher is still having the same issue of not draining, I have emailed Choice Warranty as they ask you to, and no response. However, I did get this for a review. If I now get a callback and real repair, I will update my review, however, I do not see getting a callback...

I had an appointment for a technician to come out for my dryer last Wednesday. Instead that appointment was canceled and moved to Friday and when the technician came out he told me he had to get approval to order the part which it was approved but now he has to come back next week. I've been waiting a long time for my dryer to be fixed, he told me that they did not cancel it. That the warranty company did. Each company is blaming the other. I'm not happy overall with this experience. I'm still without a working dryer at the moment.

The Tech showed up to replace my water disposal. He did not align the RO line correctly into the drain pipe (the next morning we had water all over the kitchen area). Also he said the clamp that goes on the end to connect the dishwasher hose to the disposal was too small. But expanded it so he would not have to go and get the right sized it needed. He did come back the next day and align the RO line but did not get a bigger clamp for the dishwasher hose.

Back in the 1st of May, I opened a claim for my garage door opener. After about a week waiting for them to find me a tech for appt., it was schedule on 4/6 at 11:30AM, since I had the tech's phone number I called him, and he said to me that he thought it was a scam so he disregarded the appt., Since he was over 90 minutes away he say he was not coming. I called CHW & told them they needed to reassign another tech., after 2 weeks calling them & asking when a tech was schedule, it was same story - "we are working on it". Finally they send me a email that I should find my own tech but needed to follow the company process on reimbursement. Well I work over the road during the week, so it's a little hard to find & schedule techs, long story short, if you live aways from a major city, there were no techs that wanted to work under the CHW process, not a profitable process for them.
After 3 months of CHW **, I decided to fix the opener myself cause I had a reliable person told me that I needed a new opener. On 6/03/23 I purchased all the items needed to repair/replace the unit through a national hardware chain store, I photographed all my receipts & uploaded them to CHW, within minutes I received a call from a CHW rep saying my claim has been closed & there would be no reimbursement. I ask why. She said, "You didn't follow the reimbursement process," I said I have been trying to get this fixed through the CHW warranty for 3 months, I decided to fix myself, she said, "You can't do that," I said, "Since you guys did not follow the process, I fixed the issue myself, I just want reimbursement," she said that CHW would not reimburse me for anything. I have had 3 claims in last 3 months, only 1/2 claim had been fixed, all techs in this area cringe to work under CHW process. I sent a email to the person that sold me the warranty & told him to fix or next call is to cancel my warranty with CHW. Clock is ticking.

I was looking for a new home warranty regardless that was cheaper. I did decide to change because of my own needs, but had I had a comparable option I would have said no because of the salesman that I dealt with. He was far too pushy and a little sleazy with cheesy phrasing. Said things like "this deal is just like winning the lottery.” Honestly I didn’t agree and it cheapened the experience and I almost walked away due to how pushy he was. If it weren’t for the dramatic price difference I would have said no if it relied on the salesman that I talked to.

I was upset with myself for forgetting to add a 2nd electrical issue to my first claim after a technician was assigned so I called customer service. To get another claim and hoping to get the same technician on the same day and pay another service fee. The agent informed me that it could refiled under the same claim with no additional fee and even contacted the technician to get both items taken care on the same claim/visit. Contractor quickly found out the capacitor went out on the A/C unit. I had to request him to check the Freon charge on it before he would do it. It wasn’t automatic and my second unit he didn’t check. Probably wouldn’t use this contractor had he not been attached to my home warranty claim.

My AC stopped cooling our home on and off. Unit would run outside, but no cooling inside on and off. Called Choice when it stopped running inside. Tech checked system out two days later and found that motor to fan was bad. After approval it was replaced a few days later. System works better than before. Repaired of air conditioner was done expertly and effective. Choice Home Warranty is not a reputable company. They promise everything but deliver nothing. They are deceitful and totally unfair with the settlement offers for items covered by the contract. They will never get my business or recommendation.

I like how quickly they were able to come out and accommodating they were. We had a different date but they were a lot move me up. However, I could not be there but my college son was home and he said the gentleman was polite and quick.

At the time I called for service for my dryer, I told the person that my dryer was not working. When the service person arrived, she worked hard to determine the root of the problem. She communicated with Choice and was told that I had said there was no power. I never made that statement. How would I know if there was power or not. Every other appliance was working. The Choice agent kept the service person waiting over an hour and 1/2. She called numerous times and the final straw was that the Choice offices were closed. We still have no resolution to our problem. I am now considering that it was a mistake to use Choice in the first place.

The hot water heater was leaking at our property. Erick and Jenny from A Plus Plumbing were both very professional and concise in executing the jobs they were performing. Erick identified the problem right away and was able to relay that information to me with details. Jenny was friendly, responsive and accurate with office handling. Choice Home Warranty got it right with this company.

Repair person never called or came to fix the dishwasher. The man that came to fix the toilet would get 5 stars. He also said he could fix the dishwasher. When I called to see if he could do the job, I was told they had to wait for the ones assigned the job to respond, even though it was 3 hrs past the appointment time for the dishwasher. You need to only do business with people that meet their commitments. Do better. Dishwasher still not fixed.

My dryer stopped working. I was scheduled with Collins Connection between 11 am - 3 pm. They contacted me to tell me that it would be a little later than 3, closer to 4 when they arrive. They did arrive at 4 pm. Collins Connection came and quickly figured out that the belt was broken and repaired my dryer within about an hour. They were very friendly and professional. I would recommend them and hire them again.

I have had home warranties with other Companies, and they were hard to deal with after they get you to sign up, but working with Elliott, he is fantastic in every aspect. He is very caring and understanding and not just trying to get you to sign up then bye bye, he really cares about his and their service and how his customers are taken care of.

Choice is the worst warranty company I’ve ever worked with. We placed a claim for our refrigerator and Choice is refusing to fix our issue. What’s the point in having a warranty company. Choice just wants to take people’s money and not do the right thing. Choice sucks and I will place a review so anyone looking hopefully doesn’t choose Choice.

I'm paying you guys $75.00 a month, then $75.00 a service call, and it seems you guys don't cover anything, your price was 50.00 a month and 50.00 service call, you only gave me part of the money to replace my washer, then wouldn't cover the price to bring my furnace to code, when you were the ones who worked on it before.

The technician had a very dry personality and was not friendly even when I offered a bottle of water. He also made me sign something which I later found out on my own it was the property damage waiver. Also upset that it’s going to take up to 30 days to receive my Lowe’s e-gift card.

I just joined this year and I had to use the home warranty for the first time yesterday. We noticed a water leak coming from around the toilet bottom. I am so impressed with this company. My claim was so fast and easy. I did my claim online, they e-mailed me my claim # and assigned a plumber within 30 minutes with the next day appointment. Our AC wouldn’t cool. We filed a claim and due to the holiday weekend it was delayed a few days. It took a total of 13 days from filing to getting a Technician who came; diagnosed; got the part and repaired our AC through CHW. A relief to finally get it back up and running. We are glad to have the coverage! Hopefully we won’t have anymore problems with the system through our hot summer here. Our Tech turned out to be a really decent guy and did a good job! I had a leaking water heater, Choice Warranty had someone come out promptly. The technician was very knowledgeable and stated that I would need a new water heater. He contacted choice. Choice contact me right away and are replacing my water heater. The process has been really fast and I’m happy with the service.

The overall list of coverage for Home and Pool looks to best in class for other like offers. American Homeshield almost got our business but Choice pursued us and returned call.

Ac repair was finally completed a week after it first stopped. Very good techs but, considering there is someone in the house on oxygen there was no answer when I called for emergency service and finally a call back almost 8 hours later. Considering there are multiple ac units in the area, either the company needs more employees or Choice needs to use more companies in the area.

Tony Calenda did an excellent job of making sure I understood what type of plan I was eligible for and getting me all benefits of a Sr plan.
