We had the sunroom done by Champion. I like the quality of their product. Also, they had a good history of good customer service and customer satisfaction. It took two days from the time we signed the contract to the complete installation. I've used it a lot. I've had comments about it from my family when they came over, and also the guy who cuts the grass.

I've seen advertisements for Champion Windows and Home Exteriors. They used to have a building that was along the interstate, and you could see it easily from the interstate when you passed by. Champion projected that it might take a bit longer than what it did to get the windows in. We were able to arrange an installation that I thought would take two days, but they got it done in half a day. I was pleased about that. It was two crews out, and they knocked it out fast.

We live in a condo. We were made to remodel our three-season room. We spoke with a couple who are friends of ours who had just had a three-season room put in by Champion. I went to their house. I looked at the quality and I looked at what they had and that convinced me to go with Champion. My experience with Chapion's rep was good. It was done sooner than they anticipated. Initially, they told us that it would be March. Then they said it would be in January and then ended up putting it in in December. The young man who did it, he finished up on Christmas Eve, about 7 o'clock. And that was his choice. He didn't run into any problems. But he was going on vacation after Christmas. He said, “I wanna get it done.” I was very pleased.

Feb 10, 2026 Follow up. Got two text messages from Marie and she informed me that "the team is aware of our unhappiness and someone named Erin will contact me". We got a VM from Erin who asked us to contact her. Unless they plan on giving us back money for our troubles and the 12 days we had to take vacation time from work to deal with this, there is nothing they will be able to do for us. Reviews are the only way we can warn others against using this company.
Feb 2, 2026 Follow up. I contacted Marie ** as she suggested in her response to this review. She said she'd look into this and get back to me. Surprise surprise! I haven't heard from her since and it's been 4 months. Garry M doesn't know his products. The install guys were unprofessional and did poor work (broken windows, incorrect product, not in window frame correctly) and will damage your personal property and tell you it was like that when they got there. The project leads are not much better. The product from the factory came scratched 3X. And do not believe Garry when he says "you won't need any customer service, but if you do, contact me and we will get it taken care of". He lies. He won't call you back ever.
Our attorney suggested we send a letter to the president before we filed a breach of contract lawsuit, and we did send a letter stating all of our issues with the product and service. It was met with silence from management. I think they maybe had project manager reach out to us and tell us his hands are tied from management on what he can do to rectify all of our problems and his hands were tied from the factory. It took over a year and a half to get 9 windows and one patio door installed and all the problems fixed.
Then before they were even finished fixing the last several things, they contacted us to say WE were past due on the final payment. It took more than a year and a half to get 9 windows and 1 patio door installed, but we were past due? If you have an appt with them, cancel it. If you can still get out of a contract, do that. If you are thinking about calling Champion for a quote, don't waste your time. In fact, run. Just run as far away from Champion as you can get.

We looked up companies because we wanted to put some windows in our screen and porch, and we went with Champion Windows because of their product and price. The sales rep was very professional, knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. The contractor was very good as well. They were respectful of my space, didn't leave a mess and finished the work on time. We got two windows and they're on two sides of the room. I wish they could be cheaper, but they're top quality. I'm sitting out here now and it's freezing outside. I turned the room into my woman cave.

We had windows installed in August of 2025. However, when we put these windows as being energy efficient on our tax, we were informed by Champion that they were not a qualified manufacturer for the Energy Star tax credit. Thus, we were unable to file them on our tax return, getting a refund. If you plan on reporting them on your text documentation, do not use Champion as they do not qualify.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected information regarding Energy Star qualification for tax credits. Although we're unable to modify eligible documentation, we recommend consulting a tax professional or the tax body concerned to explore potential options based on your unique purchase context. I bought Champion Windows years ago and didn't have any problems. I just purchased back in November of 2025 entry door and storm door. Big mistake. The door that was installed is by no means what the pictures looks like. The entry door has a huge square cut out with no privacy at all. I had to pay in three installments of 2149.00 each prior to have these doors installed. Again, the door installed was wrong. I was told I signed a contract and received what I had signed for. The salesmen had to have put the wrong number for the door down because there is no way I would have ordered this kind of door. They messed up my new paint job on both sides of the door. They have all of these little pieces of paper sticking in the door frame!!!!
The storm door doesn't have any "give" to it. It slams shut so hard the glass is going to break. The molding around the inside of the entry door has to be painted. They don't install finished molding. The entry door is so hard to open I have to use both hands and push with my shoulder to open the entry door. The threshold which is cheap metal has a dent in it and the caulking on the outside of the storm door at the bottom is so awful a two year old kid could have done a better job. They blame me for the wrong entry door and especially since I signed the contract. They get your money upfront for their screw ups and you are stuck holding two cheap looking doors you will have to have someone come out other than Champion to fix.
I wish I had gone to Lowe's or Home Depot to purchase my doors. Family and friends asked why I was paying out so much for two doors....I said because I want the best. Unfortunately, I got the worst. I have lost all of this money and now can't afford anything else. Please run as fast as you can away from Champion. I don't see how they manage to stay in business with how they take your money and run!!!!

I got 13 windows from Champion Windows. I liked their warranty, and the sales representative, Nick, was terrific. The crew that did the install spoke very broken English and it was hard to understand them, but we got by. They were very respectful and terrific as well. I thought the install would take days. Being done in December, I thought, "Oh, my. What am I gonna do?" However, the 13 windows were installed in a matter of four hours. The group worked very well together. It was just a routine.

I was very pleased with Champion Windows, the workmanship and installation and the gentleman that came out and spoke to us. He was super. His presentation was very informative and he was very polite. I purchased 9 windows, including sliders and a picture window, and the company gave me a very good rate. I could not have asked for a better installer as well. He installed the nine windows in one day, and they are very high quality. We've had some very severely cold weather here lately and my heat has not been running like it used to with the old windows. I've already recommended Champion Windows.

Champion did two picture windows and one kitchen window for me. The installation crew was top grade and I couldn't have asked for better. They knew what they were doing. Everybody had a little role to play and they did it within a short period of time. I've had other people look at the windows and they said that they did a good job.
However, I was quoted a price by the salesman for triple layered windows. He found out that you couldn't do that on certain windows and sizes, and he didn't explain that to us until after we signed the contract. But when I approached him, he did a reduction in price for us. It was also kind of hard to get a hold of the salesman when I needed to talk to him, but every now and then, he'd call us and check in.
Another thing was when the installers came out to put the windows in, they realized that the other guys had measured them wrong. The windows the installers had in their truck were not going to fit. They suggested to deconstruct the whole frame around my window and build a new one to fit the window they had. But my house was built in the mid-‘50s and I didn't want the integrity of the frame being disrupted because it was solid. So they called back to the factory with the right dimensions and it took me another three or four weeks before the new windows were made.
The cost was a little high, but not out of line. Other companies would have charged a whole lot more, but I don't think they would have had a much better product either. Others would have charged less, but their windows wouldn't have been as good. I'm satisfied and I like the product. I like the way it was installed. I'm really happy with it.

We had 20-year-old windows and a couple of them had been damaged. We just replaced all of them at the same time and went with Champion Windows. They were running a special that made them comparable to other companies and they also had a lifetime warranty with the windows. We got 13 windows and the quality seems really great. Visibility and insulation are really good. The work was great. The contractors that came in and changed the windows were very friendly and very mindful of our home and made sure that our home was protected as they were doing the work. They cleaned up really well when they left. The sales rep was great, too. He was very friendly, super knowledgeable about the product and the services, and was great to work with.

We felt like Champion's pricing was fair, and they had a good reputation as a company for their product. Their sales representative was very good. He had to leave before the end of the meeting, and then he came back again. A second Champion person came as well. He did a really good job and made us feel very comfortable. We had Champion enclose our sunroom in both windows and doors. The work quality was excellent. The installers were clean and neat. They came when they said they'd be here. They worked through the day. They did take some lunch, which they should, but they got the job done very quickly and very well.
About a week ago, we noticed some moisture on the floor inside the sunroom, which should not have been there. So, I took a picture of it. We called Champion. Within hours, they were back with us. They came out a day or two thereafter, and re-caulked some areas. We had a very rainy, moist, nasty day, and it did not reappear. So, we are very happy with their response.

We had four windows put in. Champion's crew showed up and they were very efficient. They had two sets of guys working on the two sets of windows. They were here for around two and a half hours at the most and we're happy with the product. We already feel the difference in the temperature in the house. Champion was excellent. It was very professional from the salesperson, Trevor, to the entire crew that came out and follow-up. We'd recommend them to anybody else looking for windows.

I needed some doors replaced. I was having trouble finding someone who could do both commercial doors and residential doors. I looked online, found Champion, and I was able to book an appointment right then and there for the next day. That was very attractive to me. Plus, I like the Champion reputation. The warranty is a plus too.
The communication with them was great. They emailed me, texted me and kept in touch with me on everything. The salesman was very nice and knowledgeable. Spent a lot of time with me, helping me understand what I was getting and why Champion was different. Also, the installer was great. He made sure everything was installed correctly. It looked great and he cleaned up afterwards. Couldn't even tell he had been on site. The product also looked great once they got it in. I was very pleased. The quality and warranty are worth the price. You're gonna pay a little bit more, but it's worth it in the end. I would highly recommend Champion.

Our windows needed to be replaced. We contacted Champion Windows of Charlotte. Within one day they sent their representative Spencer ** to our house. Spencer was excellent. He explained everything thoroughly, showed us samples, listened to and answered all of our questions and put no pressure on us. The windows were measured and the order sent in. In less than a month the windows were ready for installation.
The installing crew, Matheus and Thales, arrived on schedule and went right to work. It was clear they have worked together as they were totally in sync. It was obvious they knew exactly what they were doing. They started at 9 and had the 8 windows completely installed by 2. They then proceeded to clean up. They left our house and yard immaculate. We are very pleased with the windows. They are well made and I love how the top windows swing in so I can clean them from the inside of our house. If you need windows replaced this is the company to use!

This company is dishonest and does bad work. They lie, and they do not stand by their warranties. My doors are brand new and they leak. They told me to buy a storm door and all this was after the first set that they installed that were the wrong size. Total nightmare.

With Champion, we replaced five glass block windows in our basement and garage. The quality was perfect. A gentleman came to the house, provided us with all the information, and gave us the quote. The contractors were professional and did a thorough job. It was a same-day installation. They picked up after themselves and left no mess.

Several years ago, my son who lives over in Ohio recommended Champion, because when they bought the house that they currently live in, they had Champion windows. His toddler threw a toy through the living room window and it was replaced. And he said, "Mom, they're good." So, I got all new windows from them as well. I also had some go bad and they've replaced those. I ordered doors, too.
I checked with somebody else on the doors and they were priced ridiculously high. I was talking to the guy that put the replacement windows in. I had a folder with the original receipts in it and I asked him what he thinks. He said the one window would have been probably at least half of what all the windows cost 10 years ago. Everything's gone up. It's ridiculous, but it is what it is. Champion is still expensive but thousands of dollars more reasonable.
I was very uneasy when I got the first initial windows. I actually had my son come over and be with me. But after that, I felt comfortable just having them come. The guy who did my replacement windows got the numbers off the old windows. When the new ones finally came, he just put them all in. He came back and measured the doors to make sure what the doors that I needed were going to be. I'm really enjoying the doors. Also, my neighbor hadn't come to take down the drapes and had overslept, and one of the guys from Champion who came in said it was absolutely no problem. He just took the drapes down to put my sliding door in. It was also a really cold day and he goes, "We're gonna make this as quickly as possible." The guys who came really knew what they were doing. They were awesome. All in all, it was painless with Champion. They are reliable.

We had three different companies come out to do a bid and Champion had the most reasonable price. The salesman was also willing to not play games, which I appreciated. We went with four double-hung windows and two sliders. They originally said 6 to 10 weeks, but that was fine. We wanted to wait until it was cold out because my wife's allergic to bees. We wanted the bees gone before we did the install, so it actually worked out well.
Initially, the installation went very well. The crew is very courteous, kept the house clean, and did an excellent job. After the install, about a month later, we had a window that cracked, so I have a service ticket in to have that repaired. Then we do have one window that we're getting ice buildup on and we're feeling some air around it, so we have a service call to take care of those two issues.
I would tell others to consider Champion and include them in making a decision. I've been happy with everyone I talked to, but the lady on the service desk was the first one I dealt with Champion that I was not impressed with. I called in to report the double-hung window with the ice buildup on it, and I felt like I was interrupting her. She had other things she wanted to do rather than handle what I was having an issue with. I was getting short answers, like when you try to talk to someone and they give you a one-word answer.

I had a whole front door section with big side windows, and the whole thing was literally disintegrating. My son came over and said it’s going to just fall either in the house or out on the porch and I have to do something. My neighbor recommended Champion and I couldn't have been more pleased. I was in shock when I found out what the price was. I was raised poor and I'm a tightwad so I paid on two payments and then went in but you get what you pay for. If it's cheap, it's gonna be a cheap product.
The three young men who did all the work here were an absolute delight. I wanted much everything but the glass to be steel and they did exactly as I wanted. The previous owner of the house that built it has all bulletproof glass and I didn't know this stuff until I moved into the house. I love the fact that now it's a permanent fortress. It was wonderful from start to finish. I am so pleased. No more bugs coming in through and it's just wonderful. I am so happy with Champion.

When the Champion salesperson sat down with me and we made the contract, they told me exactly when everything was due and what the installments were. I'm very impressed. I had text messages and calls from them. I had three different points of contact for different stages. If I had a question or wanted to know something, when I contacted them, they called me back within half an hour.
They did a 12-foot sliding patio door that was a weather-type and from the 1970s. I got several other bids, they Champion was $2,000 cheaper than my next closest estimate. The estimate that was $2,000 more wanted me to wait two months with plywood instead of a door to go through. They said because of having to order the door and measure it, they had to take it out first. I would have at least two months of just plywood there while they waited for it to be built, as opposed to the way Champion's process is. They told me, “You don't have to do that. You have your old door and it will keep you contained until we get the new one."" They also built it to my specs. They measured and remeasured a bunch so that they know it's gonna fit exactly. They said it was a one-day installation and did exactly the way they were supposed to. I'm really impressed, and I'm not easily impressed.
With Champion, customer service was perfect. They talked about all the products and they really know what they're doing. They have it down to a science as far as the mechanical parts of fixing, but also the sales and customer interaction part. They're the ones to go to. Don't even mess around with getting everybody else's estimate if it's for a patio door like this. They're probably really good for windows, too.

Champion helped with the installation of a large window. It was quite efficient and pretty much what I expected. They have a knowledgeable installation crew who knew what they were doing. Champion had the window and people who got it put in place and set up all the trim. Time-wise, it went well. It looked like it was going to drag out. All of a sudden, they had the window manufactured after a while, and very shortly after that, the window was here and installed. Champion is competitive in pricing, and overall, they're represented by a good product.

Do NOT purchase siding from Champion - they do not honor their warranty - they take your money and then ignore you - when you call them out on it, they LIE to your face - totally unscrupulous business!!!

Updated on 04/12/2026: I am following up on our experience. While the quality of the sliding doors is very good, I am still incredibly frustrated. After paying over $12K and dealing with nearly a year of poor communication and delays, the regional manager offered a $200 gift card (less than 2% of the project cost) as compensation. After I refused, he "generously" upped it to $300. It feels like a slap in the face. I feel that a 10% discount ($1260) is a standard industry "goodwill" gesture and well within the realm of a fair settlement. Until Champion Windows values their customers' time as much as their deposits, I cannot recommend them.
Original Review: Rating: 1/5 Stars. Do not use Champion Windows. Our experience with a $14,000, two-panel patio door purchase has been an absolute nightmare, defined by egregious delays, complete lack of professionalism, and substandard product quality. We placed our order on June 11th. It took four and a half months (until October 27th) to receive just one of the two doors, and the project remains incomplete.
Communication is non-existent. The nightmare began in August when the install manager himself noted our initial "rush" order doors were horribly scratched and unfit for installation. Despite being promised a new rush order, my follow-up calls on August 25th, September 4th, and September 12th were all met with zero returned calls. Two months later, we finally received a call to schedule installation. The installer arrived only to deliver more bad news: he only brought ONE door. More critically, the single installed door is already defective:
The lock does not connect—a basic safety function that was clearly not checked by the installer.The door panel has multiple visible scratches on the exterior.
The exterior door handle is the wrong color (white on an almond door), which is unacceptable for a custom order at this price point.
Champion has demonstrated a profound disrespect for the customer's time and money. They delivered a defective, incomplete, and non-functional product months late after ghosting us for weeks. We are demanding a complete and immediate resolution, including waiving the final balance for the immense trouble caused. Save yourself the stress and choose another company.

I had purchased windows from Champion and had them install them. The person who came during the sales visit was friendly, very informative, and knew what he was talking about. Installation was great. Two guys came out. They were very professional and took care of business. They revisited each window to make sure everything was fine. They pointed out one issue as far as a ceiling situation was concerned, and without question, they did it and was done. They did a great job.

I would like to share my experience with Champion Windows. We had our windows replaced, 11 in total, done in April of 2024. Upon installation 1 window had seal failure, then while waiting many months for that to replaced another window failed. That window took a lot of back and forth to get them to replace it. During the first year with our windows, when washing the exterior of our house the following spring, we noticed every window caulking was covered in black mold. When we finally got them to agree that this was a botched installation and get them to repair this mess, it has taken months and 4 times of them sending a repair guy out and still my windows look like we hired a teenager to do the installation. I am sharing these photos to show the quality of work they did on my home, you can decide for yourself if Champion Windows is the company you would be proud to hire. We regret our decision. Rep texted prior to appt asking if all decision makers would be present, talked about deals that are only available day of, I said I wasn't keen on that strategy and high pressure tactics so if that was the case, we could probably cancel appt. He then proceeded to tell me "if that's the kind of deal you want, you should be shopping at Home Depot or Lowe's...I mean I'm just putting that on the table". This prompted quite a long text stream from him which I won't go into here. I rescheduled appt (requested a different rep). They were supposed to show up at 6pm on Nov 5. Nobody showed up, nobody called to let me know what was going on. I texted, no response, I texted again, no response. If I can't even get a professional rep to come out, I have to assume that's reflective of a company culture - high pressure sales, NOT customer centric.

We have Champion Windows in our previous home, they did a whole window package for us there, and we were very pleased with it. We love their work, so when we moved into this house, we automatically went to Champion.
This time, we got a window package, and the installation was quick. It was wonderful. Everything was smooth. The installers were professional, great, and very efficient. They cleaned up after themselves, so I have no complaints.
The quality of the window was great. There is a small hole in one of the screens that I did mention to the installers that he did take note of. I have not heard back if they were gonna replace that or not. But, overall, we were very satisfied with the customer service and everything.

I needed windows. I was going to pick two or three companies and get estimates. Someone from Champion came out and showed me the windows, how they tilted out which is what I wanted, told me about the screens, and everything about the window. He was very informative. The presentation was great. I really liked the idea that they're made here in the United States and also the warranty.
I went with them and the installer was amazing. He was a very nice gentleman. He said if there was anything that looked wrong, please let him know, and he would come back and redo it. He was very good, cleaned up everything, and hauled off the old windows. I couldn't be any happier.
The windows were top-notch. I was very impressed. Being older, it's sometimes hard to open a window. But these are not hard. It’s a joy. Cost-wise, they're not the most expensive but they're not the cheapest. But they were not outrageous.

We’ve also used Champion Windows before in a different home. We chose them this time because it was a better deal, and we had new windows put in for our current home. At the beginning, the sales representative did a pretty thorough job showing us the windows and how to work them.
After the windows were installed, the contractor showed us how to clean them and how to operate them. Everything was completed in two days. Champion did a quick job, and the overall quality was up to standards.

I had Champion Windows come to give me a quote on replacing the siding on my house, the sales rep measured my house and gave me a quote of 23k for vinyl siding, I told the sales rep I wanted to get other quotes, the price then came down to 21k then 18k, old siding was supposed to be removed, it was written in the contract, when subcontractor came 4 or 5 weeks later, I was told they do not remove the old siding, they just cover it up with new siding, I made them take 1K of the total price due to not removing old siding, when siding was complete there was one box of siding left over, two days after the job was done the subcontractor came back to my house and took the box of siding off my front porch that I had paid for, and told me he was told to come get or they would lower his pay by 1k, Champion windows is a crooked and unethical company that will rip you off, tell your friends and family do not use them for anything. I heard about Champion Windows and Home Exteriors on television and I knew they were a good product. They were also doing the buy one, get one free special. I bought about 20 new windows to replace all through my house and a kitchen patio door. They got them done very quickly all in one day. I'm also waiting for my front door to be delivered. I really like the quality.
I love the commitment Champion has and the guarantees behind them, that if anything goes wrong, they will replace screens or windows. I had hail damage with screen damage and they replaced the screen. My dog went through my kitchen screen door and they replaced that, too. It's excellent. My mom went with a company in Omaha and I told her about Champion. I've used different products in Omaha, too. I've been in my house for 30 years and so far, Champion ranks supreme above every other company I've used. The biggest selling point to me was they 100% stand behind their product.

I originally went with Lowe’s and had a problem. That’s why I contacted Champion. I purchased a sliding patio door, triple-pane. It was a custom size, and Champion makes all their stuff to fit the installation.
The timeline got extended a little bit. The first door came and it was the wrong size. They had to make another one, but it all worked out well. I got a good installation and they have a good warranty. This day and time, it’s hard to find somebody that will do good work for you. Everybody’s asking me about Champion, and I’ve recommended them if they want some work done. I like it a lot.

My window project was done in March of 2025 and it's been nothing but issues with quality, sloppy install, and difficulty getting issues corrected/still waiting on products to fix poor quality materials. On my install molding pieces are not straight/ not sticking to frame, razor blades in my flowers beds, uneven caulking that stayed dirty(finally corrected), sealant between the brick/windows not done right, trash left in window tracks, stickers left on the windows, and windows not cleaned. I asked questions about scuffed frames, scratches in the glass, bent molding, and safety latches that were unusable due to being in the window tact on install but I was told that would be a service issue!
Here it is Oct and I am still waiting on my complaints to be handled, I am the one calling to check on the progress of parts for the repairs with no initiating from this company to keep me informed. As a consumer I have been dissatisfied with the quality of this product and lack of follow up on repairs with this company lack of initiative to right what's wrong. This project was expensive and not worth the headache of dealing with this company!
