The reason I give Champion a 5-star rating is I had no billing issues. The customer service reps I dealt with, **, were great to work with. And when It was time to renew they went out of their way to give me a rate to beat a competitor I was thinking about switching to, even providing me with spreadsheets for comparison. No other company has ever done that. Most companies save their best rates for new customers only. They lose you and then spend their time trying to get you back...what a waste of trees. Champion has the right attitude and I appreciate that and so do the rest of their customers; they have the best reviews by far.

Champion is wonderful. In the past, I have had to shop for a new provider every time my contract expired because the providers attempted to switch me to a more lucrative program. Champion actually contacted me and when I called they allowed me to switch to a less expensive program (I already had a decent priced program). It was a no brainer! By the way, I like their weekly reports on energy usage and cost, keep up the good work Champion!

I sign up for a price lock guarantee of $0.064...on the same bill it states that, "The average price you paid for electricity this month is $0.12439." Fortunately my worthless contract expires this June. If you are thinking of choosing Champion based upon their advertised rates...buyer beware!

Find Champion to be of great value when compared to other energy companies. Customer service is outstanding with many ways to contact and pay bills. The refer a friend program is great, as it allows us to introduce our friends to Champion and get a reward.

The girl I talked w/ was very knowledgeable, let me know what I had been paying and how the new contract would be initiated. She kept a friendly manner about her during our entire conversation. Well pleased & as always I have mentioned Champion Energy to many friends, family & co-workers.

I first switched because I heard a deal on the radio. This ended up to being a wise decision after looking at what I was actually paying with another well-named provider. I've been with Champion for 3 years now and I really don't have look at any others for pricing. Champion remains competitive with their prices if you don't use all of your wattage something that you should always look at. No doubt you've been paying a much higher rate and you thought you were getting a deal. Still a happy customer and thanks!

Champion has been the best electrical service and VERY reasonably priced. I was with the major electric carrier in Dallas for 30 years and it was much more expensive for no apparent reason.

I was contacted by Champion Energy. They said they could save me money on my electric bills. They convinced me to switch. My first bill went up $250 alone. So after 2 months of increases energy bills I canceled and then was hit with a $1700 early termination fee. Please be aware if you sign up and are unhappy you will be hit with an exorbitant early termination fee.

Moved out from California and have been with Champion for about years now. I've been completely satisfied with their service, the prices are very competitive, and their analytics help set expectations as to what your bill will be as well as what it has been for previous years. The referral program is also a great way to save, and help others save as well.

I have been a satisfied customer for a few years until I recently noticed a huge increase in my monthly bill. I never paid attention to the delivery charge until I noticed it was half of my energy charge on current bill. When I called and asked why my delivery charge went from $5.59 to $24.50 the Champion representative told me that the delivery charge and based on my kWh usage. I told him I was fine with that but I wanted to know why it increased so much when I had used almost the same kWh usage in June. His response was "Do you not understand what kWh usage is?" I know exactly what kWh usage is. What I was trying to figure out is why it had increased from .01 to .04. He told me my current delivery charge is .04 which I had already calculated. When I asked him why it went from .01 to .04 he told me it was never .01. I told him I was looking at my bill right now from June and my delivery charge was .01. He told me I must have signed a renewal then.

We've been using Champion for almost 2 years now and are extremely pleased. In fact, we just renewed for 2 more years. The weekly power tracker emails are a great way to stay on top of energy consumption and the few times I've called in to customer service they have been excellent. However, I still decided to do some research with my renewal date coming up. Champion's rates are in the ballpark (not the lowest but not the highest), and, based on my experience, it made it easy to renew. If you plan on switching to champion, use my referral ID- **- when you sign up for 25 dollars off your first bill.

I PAY WITH CAPITAL BANK FROM MY TABLET, CAPITAL ONE CHANGE THE SYSTEM I PAY FOR MISTAKE 3338 electronic check. The same day I see my mistake, I call. They tell me 2 week. I explain need this money for eat, pay bills etc. Common sense!!!! No problem in 2 or 3 week Daniel tell the same day they to the supervisor. Last week or two week ago I call, the same!!! NO ONE MORE WEEK THEY SAY. 4 week OH Yeah today I call THEY SAY they send the check Oct 31 but the problem with this is the mail take 3 days and I need eat, pay bill and if I am late you cut my services or ask for more money. I going to ask for money from you too, you going to give more money? Sure no!!! I need my money!!!!

I have been a faithful customer of Champion Energy for 2-1/2 years. Prior to becoming a Champion customer, I had so many service and customer service problems with my previous provider. Since changing to Champion, I've had no problems with the service provided or with customer service. When I've had questions, customer service has been very professional, friendly and efficient in answering those questions. When it's time to renew or change my electrical provider I've researched the rates available from several providers. Each and every time Champion has had the best rates. Since I've never had any issues with the service provided and the rates are best, I always renew with Champion Energy Services.

Champion Energy Services is clearly the best electric company. Not only are they ranked highest in residential customer satisfaction for the past 4 years by JD Powers, but they also make it rewarding to be a customer. They have offered contests in the past on Facebook (where I won TWO court-side seats to a Rockets game), and they also reward you for referring friends. So far, I have earned $75! PLUS, on occasion, they will offer discounts to local retailers: like getting $5 off at 59 Diner.

I have never had any issues or problems with my service from Champion Energy. I have used them for over 4 years and have enjoyed having lower guaranteed rates very much. I also have taken advantage of the rewards when referring a new customer. Thanks Champion!

I finally decided to switch from the electric carrier I had for more than 17 years and I cannot say how happy I am that I did. I can afford the bills now and the representatives are so nice and helpful. I cannot say anything negative about Champion and I am so happy to have heard about them on the radio. We're very happy with Champion. I really like the weekly emails they send showing our usage this week as compared to last week on an easy to read chart. This email also gives a monthly bill estimate based on our usage thus far in the month.

I began using Champion Energy over four years ago. My wife had a falling out with TXU over getting her elderly dad's electricity turned on when he moved to his new location. We got on the internet and found Direct Energy and did a one year contract with them. However, we found that they did not meet our expectations and prices seemed to change. Then we found Champion Energy and they have delivered everything that they promise, no surprises with billing and rate changes when you have a contract. We liked Champion so much that my wife changed her dad over to Champion and put him on a contract and when she did, his electric bills were cut in half. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with Champion Energy. I am sent an email every month before my bill arrives that states what my bill is and I appreciate that very much. I intend to continue to use Champion Energy as long as they continue the service they have provided in the past. Great company.

I've been with Champion Energy for more than 3 years now. Their customer service is top notch. Also, their website for reviewing and making payments is very easy to navigate - this is a major plus for me. One of the best features that Champion Energy offers is the weekly home energy report which shows how much energy your household has consumed compared to the weather and the previous week's consumption. This is a very good way to monitor your usage. Overall, I've been extremely impressed with the company and would recommend them to others.

Champion has consistently been the cheapest per kWh of all the electric companies. I also like that they send weekly energy reports so I can see when we use the most energy and I can see my projected monthly bill. I would highly recommend.

I'm satisfied with the service. It's the resigning that I have a problem with. Special promotional rates are only offered to new subscribers so it takes a bit of work on my part to get that rate. I came close to cancelling the service and signing for a short time with my former service just to get a better rate. Steady customers shouldn't need to do this. Some CSRs work with you on the rate but many really don't care. I called at different times and finally got a non-foreign person that was willing to work with me.

I lead such a busy life. Sometimes things get away from me. Champion helps me stay on top of my energy usage and my bills! If it weren't for the weekly usage emails, I know I would not be as mindful of my thermostat settings and turning out my lights. It is the little things they do for their customers that make them the best in my eyes. I am also sooooooo thankful for the email bills. Even with the emails my busy life gets in the way.... so Champion sends me reminders! What a life saver! I couldn't ask for a better energy company! One of the most helpful things that I've found in using Champion energy was the ability to find fully renewable, 100% wind energy at almost exactly the same cost as conventionally-produced electricity. I had expected that choosing a fully renewable service would be much more expensive and was pleasantly surprised to find that was untrue. I'm also very happy with the 'smart meter' system that allows me to weekly track the energy usage in my apartment, so I can see how things like temperatures, being home for the weekend, or being gone affect consumption and costs.

I have enjoyed thoroughly my time with champion energy. They have always been very helpful when I have to call. Champion energy weekly usage report is a great tool that helps customers estimates their monthly energy cost and it will also help customers go back to look on a specific day and which they used that day most to find out a specific utility that has high energy usage. SO far I have not had any issues With Champion energy, a great customer service support and great company.

I've had Champion for over 4 years now and they have been very good about keeping my rates low. When I moved to a new address they weren't sending my bills right away and after I called them they offered a payment plan. Haven't ever had any issues with their service.

When it comes due and my statement tells me that, I will renew with Champion for as long as I can. Can you say you love your electric company?

I've been with champion energy for three and a half years because they offered me the best value. I've moved twice during that time frame. The last time we moved was in April of this year. Service was turned on when I requested; however I did not start receiving bills till July. In July they gave me three electric bills in the same week. When I talked to someone about the issue they apologized for the inconvenience and offered to help set up a payment plan to spread out the bills. I declined the payment plan and paid it off and kept champion energy service but was disappointed by them. Also I had to make multiple calls to get signed up for auto pay. I think it should be very simple for a customer service representative to set up auto-pay for an account.

I just wanted to comment on Balance Billing and how this plan has helped our family with our fixed income. During the summer months it is sometimes difficult to pay the true-up fees that are due and I appreciate the time that your Customer Service Department took in reviewing our bill and explaining the payment plan for our family. I appreciate the payment plan that I was able to afford to have no disruptions during the summer months. As a senior citizen it is very comforting to know that I will be comfortable during the summer months.

I have used Champion for many years. I was always happy with them but I thought I would try another provider a while back that was slightly cheaper. That experience really made me realize how exceptional Champion really is. I have never had an issue in over 6 years of service. After 1 month, I switch back to Champion and it was so easy. You can always talk to someone, unlike other providers, and they are always helpful and responsive. I have recommended Champion to everyone I know and I won't be switching again. They are among the least expensive and have the absolute best service. If you haven't given them a try, switch to a month to month plan and see what you think. I've switched from "Spark Energy" to Champion when I had a major customer service issue in which Spark Energy charged me for investigating a seemingly electricity drain after charging me $600 electricity bill for under 1000 sq ft apartment in Fall. I wasn't happy about their "It's you not me" attitude when I needed help. After switching to Champion Energy, they are sending me the weekly monitoring chart so that I can do my own electricity bill monitoring which helps me saving electricity bill and also gives a peace of mind that I won't be wrongfully charged with such ridiculous electricity bill from Spark.

I have never had any problems with Champion. I love the reports I get weekly comparing weeks and my projected bill. It makes it easier to maintain and save. I have only had to call customer service one or two times and they were always helpful. The reason why I left my left Electricity company was because they never notified me that my set rate was expired. With Champion they send announcements months ahead of time with new rates. They are great!

I've been pleased with the service and pricing. I like the weekly energy usage report; it's really helpful. The area where I've had difficulty is in the multiple account numbers that I've had to juggle as I've transferred service from one location to another. When I call in, my account numbers don't seem to be linked and the customer service representatives have trouble answering my questions or making changes as a result. Other than that, I've been pleased.

I think Champion Energy's Smart Track Home Energy Consumption Report is a great tool to help us know how much electrical energy we are consuming. Since the beginning of this program, I have never been surprised by our monthly energy bill. I know week by week during the billing period what our projected electrical bill will be for that period. I can adjust our monthly budget to reflect any major changes such as having our family visit or exceptionally hot weather. During the summer months in Texas that is a real benefit. It is nice to KNOW in advance approximately what your electric bill will be each month. Smart Track means no more Shocks when your bill arrives on-line. Nice work CHAMPION ENERGY SERVICES!

I had been a TXU customer for more than 30 years when a charge policy led me to search for a new energy provider. First, I went to the internet to find those companies in my area and to locate reviews of their service. I discovered that Champion was a recipient of the JDPowers award for customer service - something that I had not received previously. I contacted Champion and they helped me select the plan appropriate for my needs and professionally answered every question I posed. In addition, the plan significantly reduced my costs. When renewal time came, I received a notice from Champion, and when I called, they again gave me expert advice on plan selection. I like that I can receive periodic notices of my energy usage and my bills is sent via email. I have been so pleased with Champion that I have recruited neighbors, who are just as pleased with Champion service as I am. My only regret is that I didn't come to Champion sooner.

I don't usually use the word "love" with my utility providers. Most of them could care less about my needs or issues. Champion Energy, however, is the exception to that! They have the best customer service of any company I've ever dealt with and always treat me fairly. Every time I've called, my issues have been taken care of quickly and with me in mind.
