I signed a contract with the company back in March and they were charging commercial rates for my residential home. It took MONTHS of me calling back and forth to get this fixed. Each time I had to speak to a different representative, several of them dropped the ball so finally I asked to speak to a manager (who left a voice message not even addressing my concern and didn't leave their name) And when they finally fixed the rate, they would not refund the past 3-4 cycles of me paying commercial rate "because CenterPoint Energy won't credit them".
I called and confirmed with CenterPoint Energy that they WOULD credit the difference to Champion and Champion would be responsible for passing that credit to me. But Champion has refused and I am still fighting this 7 months later! The employees really don't care about people or doing the right thing. I've spoken to at least 9 different reps at this point and get the same impression every time. This is a result of poor / lack of values in a company. NOTICE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FROM PPL WITH REFERRAL CODES- It's not worth it people! ****Please please don't support companies like this and save your time and money and choose anyone else!!**

Our CSR was awesome. She found us the best plan with the best price for our usage. This is my third renewal with Champion and each renewal has graduated from a 1 year service agreement to a 2 year service agreement and now to a 3 year service agreement. I feel Champion gives me the best service for my power and I can’t see myself switching to any other company. Thank you, Champion.

Have been a satisfied Champion Electric customer for over five years now. Champion has the best rates in town. I recommend Champion Electric as a service provider to all my friends. Their weekly usage monitor and online apps are very helpful in tracking my utility usage and bills.

I have been with Champion 4 or 5 years.. can't remember exactly. One thing I love is the weekly update on how much I have used and what my projected bill will be. I can tighten the belt to reduce the price if I need to. When I re- signed with them, I found that they had lowered the kwh rate.. now who does that. I am 77 and still have to work to live so I appreciate everything they have done. Thank you Champion???

I was with a major energy company for over 30 years but left because of their poor customer service — I had to talk to a contact in India that would not transfer me stateside when I needed to discuss an issue with them. Last year I signed with Champions and couldn’t be happier so I just renewed by contract for another two years. I think I get the best rates through Champions and outstanding customer service. I use the same lady to renew my contract and she is so nice to deal with. My sister from Corpus Christi referred me to her. Her name is Yesenia and she’s from Spring, TX. She needs to be recognized by management for her good customer service. I have never dealt with any of your representatives that were not professional. I am very happy with Champions Energy.

I recently learned that Champion Energy has a rate for senior citizens. I called about it and the rate was higher than I am now paying. I was told that at the beginning of August the rate would go down because cooler weather is coming and I should call back then. I did and was told that the rate is now much lower than before.

I renewed under a certain plan and your website confirmed a different plan, rather than the one I chose. I chose the plan I wanted for a reason. I called after noticing that you confirmed the wrong plan. You’re attempting to lock in a contract for the wrong plan. Have yet to hear back about fixing this issue. Why do you redirect customers on your website to apply a plan that is not chosen?

I have been with Champion Energy for 9 years. Each time that my contract is about to expire, I check to make sure that they still have the best rates. I appreciate that they send me a notice letting me know that my contract is about to expire. I had a contract with another well-known carrier previously and when my contract expired, they just jacked up my rates without notice. I still get offers from them in the mail and throw them away.
Their rates were the lowest I found. Also, it seems like everyone else gives you high rates for low energy usage so that if you cut back you energy usage, you are penalized. Champion's rates are flat not matter how much energy you use. I average my rate out over the year so that in the summer, I pay the same amount as I pay in the winter so I don't have high summer rates. I will stay with Champion energy as long as they keep giving the best rates and service.

I’ve been a Champion Energy customer for several years. This is my second term renewal. I choose Champion because of its simple fee structure. Aggressive pricing. They actually reduced my energy costs in each of my 2 renewal periods. No minimum use penalties. No rate changes if you use less than 1000kwh or more. All that with excellent phone support and an easy to navigate website.

They have been a hassle free provider for the last 2 years. Lowest prices available. My bills have been lowered by a third and they provide me with weekly updates of my usage and projected monthly bill. I recommend them highly.

All agents contacted were cordial, knowledgeable, and professional in their prompt handling of my contract renewal changes. I accidentally chose the wrong plan; correction was easily made, and cancellation of the wrong plan was confirmed immediately when I called Champion Energy. An email confirmation of the correct plan was received within 30 minutes of my plan selection.

After ten months of being a Champion customer, we have found that they perform exactly as expected. Of course, price was a factor, but the website has made it easy to do business. Information is clearly understandable and readily available. The payment process goes without a hitch. The only reason we can't comment on problem resolution is that there has never been a need.

Whenever I have had to contact Champion Energy Services LLC, it has always been relatively easy to get a live person on the phone fairly quickly, regardless of the time or day. Nowadays, that is almost unheard of. It is very much appreciated.

I have been with Champion for years. My renewal came up. I called and talked to a very knowledgeable and nice person. They gave me all my options and we got all renewed in a matter of minutes. I wish I remembered her name, but when you look her up I was highly satisfied and would recommend her to anyone.

2. Seniors also downsize and leave mcmansions behind. If you're giving a gift for renewal, make it different every year. Light bulbs last a long time and in smaller homes, senior living apartments, there's not a great need for lights bulbs every year. Do better with the gift.
1) Yes, seniors should get great offers. Our current plans promote a two year plan, but we understand that a shorter term may work better for you. Always feel free to call us to discuss your options that may not be available online.
2) We understand that light bulbs are not the best gift for all customers. We are actively exploring various options as a "gift" at renewal as well.

Signing up and renewing with Champion is very easy. We bought and sold a couple of homes since we started with Champion, and I’ve always been able to discontinue and sign up and initiate service like a breeze. I’ve been able to do it all online. I've been with Champion for almost 6 years and I’ve never had a bill go over $200. My bills have always been great and I've never had an issue with them. I’ve only ever spoken to customer service once and that may have been when we moved almost 4 years ago. Otherwise, I've never had a reason to really have to call them. And I’ve already gotten my sister, my other sister, and my sister-in-law to sign up for them.
The referral program is a blessing in a way because after my husband and I had a baby, I didn't go back to work. And then, he ended up switching jobs that put him in a part-time position. And so, when we didn’t have money, one of the referral codes kicked in on one of our bills. It helps out when we really needed it and it was great. So, I’ve told everybody about them. There are too many people who signed up with other companies and as soon as I hear the name of that company, I just shake my head and said, “No, why did you go with that company? The rate is bad.”

I love Champion Energy. My parents and I have been with them close to 15 years already. We’ve never used anyone else but Champion. My mom switched to Champion Energy from Reliant Energy, and then ever since, it was Champion. And then I moved out. Now, I live with my wife and we also use Champion Energy. I have two offices for my business and they both are Champion Energy as well.
They don’t ever overbill you and they offer you discounts on LED light bulbs. They help you save money. With them, we saved a lot of money. Plus they send you a graph every month that tells you how much electricity you’re using, and what is your usage compares to everyone else’s. So, it really helps us keep track of our usage. I speak with their customer service sometimes, when I forget my password to log in, just to check things. They’re 24 hours. I recommend Champion for everyone that I know, regardless if it’s business-wise or if it's a household. They’re the best. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else but them.

I have used quite a few providers prior to using Champion Energy, and I got a good rate with them. I then locked it in. Their customer service representatives were good. Champion took over the things and they just turned it on, so there was no installation. It is good and I like it. Check the rates. If it’s a good rate, then go with it. Overall, it was a good and smooth experience.

In the past, I've had City of Austin as my provider when I was at the apartment. Then, I heard about Champion with friends. SO satisfied with Champion Energy. If you are looking to save use code ** when signing up! You will receive a $50 bill credit, who doesn't love savings! Their promotions are FANTASTIC. I have not gotten charged in 2 months because of the rewards they offer. They also have 24 hour customer service which is amazing. I have nothing good to say about Champion Energy. You can see your usage history daily, weekly, and monthly so there are virtually no surprises. I never write reviews but I HAD to because I am so satisfied.

When my coworkers had told me about the Power to Choose website, Champion Energy Services had the best rates for the apartment that I was moving into and when I bought a house, I carried them over to the address. However, once I sell my old house, I’m gonna be canceling with Champion. I moved to an area with a co-op and they weren't able to provide service there. And I was upset when I realized that I wasn’t gonna be able to move the service. I've been with them for almost five years. Whenever my contract was running up, I called in to ask about new promos. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. Phone calls have been easy and straightforward.

We had Champion all summer and our bills were much less than they were with another company last year. Plus, only $100 this past month for a family of 5 in a decent size home. Not too bad!! Plus, the referral program is great, $50 for you and $50 for the person who referred you. I'd love the copy/paste if you want to get the credit too after deciding to sign up with Champion! (**)

We’ve been with Champion for several years, about 10 years now. I have them here and in Austin. I’m on a three-year at a time contract and I call them whenever I renew. It’s automatic if you don’t do anything. But you get an email that your contract date is coming up and it will continue on a monthly basis, and that the rate can change. So, basically what you do is call to look up what the rates are. And I’ve stayed with them every time after looking. But I had to call to renew for another contract, otherwise the rate would vary monthly and can go wherever their normally monthly rates would be versus having a fixed rate over a period of time. So far, I’m satisfied them. I’m fine with their rating, but if they live slightly somewhere else, it can be different. It depends on what people are looking for. There are options like a 6-month, 12-month, 24-month in different levels or rates. I do three years just because I don’t wanna mess with that more often.

My experience with Champion has been wonderful so far. I've used lots of different ones and I thought Champion was a better rate so I switched. However, they wouldn’t let me change plans. I had signed up for a two-year contract with the plan I was on and I wanted to change. But they that I had to stay with that plan till it expired to transfer it to another plan with the same company, which was ridiculous. Champion is a good company. I just don’t agree with their policy on not letting me change plans. I'd go with the higher plan too and that was the worse part.

Champion Energy has been pretty good -- no issues and no hiccups. The installation went smooth. They were able to say the date and it turned out just fine. We've been with them for a good seven months and the bill is higher than I wanted, but it’s all right. Higher than what I was expecting, but it’s been fine.

They were very helpful if I had a question and when I have a problem, they take care of it quickly. It is a very good company to have with an electric company. I referred them to three other people.

Champion was less expensive than other providers and the price was comparable. I could probably find something less, but I'm a loyal person and we've been with them for years. I renew every two years and I kinda missed it this year, so it was not fun. It cost several hundred dollars but it is what it is. I called them and they honored it, but if I paid attention to the five emails they sent before my contract expired, then I wouldn't have missed it.

I stayed with Champion for this length of time because it was more reasonable, but my bill is going up. It's like every day that I’m thinking to get out of Champion as soon as my contract is over to compare with someone else. I came with Champion because my other provider was a little more expensive. I’ve been with Champion for a while, but I've been looking at my bills just going higher and higher. I’ve called to see what else they can do to decrease it, but nobody said there’s something. My bill was 400 and something last month, so that was a lot. So, I have called but it seems I couldn’t get anywhere.
I have two homes and Champion in those. That shows you that I really appreciate Champion, and I guess they’re the best. But now that my bill is going up, I’m looking around. My interaction with their representative was fine until I’ve heard that there’s nothing they can do. She was nice, but there’s nothing else they can offer me. So, I need to check somewhere else because I have been incredibly busy. I have not actually followed through with it, but I will eventually when I slow down.
I’ve been in my home since 2006. I know we’ve had a hot summer, and here we are in October season with the air conditioner. But still, I have never had my bill this high. So, I didn’t know if there was anything that changed. And I’ve had my AC repair worked on for maintenance check, so maybe my kids are turning it on lower, but still at 400. I don’t know if I can afford another 400. I have recommended my family to them. I have kids that are on Champion. I transferred my second home that I was renting out. When the renters moved out, I started up with Champion Energy.

The price was cheaper with Champion compared to TXU. And it seemed to have all been good with their representatives. They have always treated me courteous. I’m very satisfied with Champion, and I’ve recommended them to several. We’ve been with them for about five years and the last contract I signed on was for three years. The service is very good.

I recommend Champion to everybody that asked me. I've been using them for eight years, if not longer. It's as good as anybody else. They're the middleman. Encore sells it to them then they sell to me. The reps are very good too.

I like Champion's prices. The rates are better than a lot of the companies. It was better than what I had at the time. I’ve been with Champion for years now. They turn on the power very fast. You don’t have to wait long. I don’t have any problems at all with them and I’ve recommended them to people. I tell people to try Champion, they will get a better rate and they will see a difference in their light bill.

We've been with Champions for close to 3 months now, but their nights free plan is fantastic for my wife and I, as we almost exclusively use the most of our energy once we get back from work at night. I really like Champion. I've been a customer for a while. My last bill was a little off, I thought, but I got it explained through one of the customer service people. It seems like this contract isn't quite as great as the contract I had before, but it's doing fine. The one I had before Champion was TXU and I was not happy at all with them. Ever since I've been with Champion, I've been very happy. I renewed my contract with them and I think my rate went up a little bit. But other than that, Champion is one of the companies I try and promote 'cause I think they have a great service and I've never had a problem.

The other day we opened our Champion energy bill and was shocked that it was $500 + for last month. Needless to say, we were shocked and outraged. We called Champion Energy to figure out what was going on, surely it's a mistake. Champion Energy says our contract lapsed and that's the reason for the $500+ bill. I said that's impossible, we would have seen the letter. They said they don't send out renewal reminders by mail, only email.
WHY THE HECK NOT! I get my bills in the mail. I explained that I seldom look at my personal email due to my company email and working 60+ hours a week. They acted as though I let my contract lapse on purpose and was irritated by my call. They would not budge in any way, saying that we got reminders in email form. Eventually, after my rage took over, I was able to squeeze out of them a $25 credit. Of course I still had to pay the $500 + for last month. Champion Energy offers good rates but that's offset when you get outrageous bills because of their secret methods of ripping people off. Yes, I feel ripped off, I feel scammed, I feel cheated. They could care less as long as they get their money.

It was a cheaper rate with Champion and it was something that looked like it would work. Also, the other companies were a little bit harder to understand so I went with Champion. Everything was very professional with their reps. Then, it all transferred digitally for the installation and the service has been good, so far. I would recommend it.

Champion Energy is a little bit cheaper so I switched to them. I found them online and their customer service rep was great. He was professional. The process was really quick. I asked for the cheapest plan and they offered me that. They then set a date and they switched my services. I’m happy with my service and I recommended Champion Energy to four friends. I was gonna try somebody else and it was just to see something different but everyone is the same. It seems like if you use quite a bit of energy, your rates are better and people who don’t use 2,000 kilowatts or over are being punished with higher rates. I’ve been with Champion Energy Services for three years, and the customer service is very decent and good but I'm quite a bit disappointed. Champion just gives you the first welcome and then they forget about you. I’m a returning customer and I was expecting to get a better rate, just for being loyal. Everyone's trying to beat everyone out there and there’s so much competition, they have to do something. They gotta give the extra to beat everybody else.

Everything's good with Champion Energy. AEP was always my provider before, but Champion have better rates. When I set up my account, everything was good, and service has been great so far. The only issue is I have multiple accounts and when I open a new account, it seems that I have to make a first payment before I get through the automatic draft and looks like we could just set that up right off the bat which is kinda weird to me.

For your customer service rep to claim that the current market rate went from .05859 to .25016 is incredibly unbelievable. I've been a customer since June 2012. We're done with this company. That is nothing but theft. This is a ridiculous way to treat your long term customers.
We would never want to steal from our customers. Looking at your account, it appears that your contract has been expired with us since April 2017. As a result, you have been billing on a month-to-month market rate. We always encourage customers to renew their contracts when they are up for expiration and make every effort to notify customers in advance.
In the month of August, we had very high demand, resulting in record high prices. As a result, customers not on a fixed rate can expect to receive higher than usual bills. Champion Energy Services has good service and their rate is competitive. Moreover, their reps were very helpful. They told me all the plans. They showed me two or three 12-month options. I've been with Champion Energy Services for five years now and the experience has been awesome. I had a line before, and I made a simple phone call and the service was switched over to Champion. My summer bill got cut almost in half. I was paying $400 and now I pay 180. So, it has been great. Plus, at that time, they offered free weekends, which was good. It was better than what we had.

We've been with Champion for four years now and we’re satisfied with them. My wife deals with them and she has been satisfied with the help that she has gotten from them. She coordinated setting up the service in our new apartment, and there were no issues at all. The package we have right now is nights free. I had TXU before and compared to them, Champion is better in some ways. They're cheaper, too. Anytime I’ve had a problem, which has mainly been with Oncor on the lines, the service, and the electricity going down, I’ve let Champion know and they call Oncor directly. They’ve handled it as best as they could being it’s the way they work anyway.

I’ve been using Champion Energy for the past three years. The representatives explained to me everything when I asked about the bill and how it is calculated. During the installation, they honored the request and finished it on time. Generally in winters, I get a very high bill. Other than that, I’m fine with Champion and I would recommend them.

When I got the Champion Energy service, it was quick and when I renewed, it was quick as well. The installation was easy and the reps were very friendly and they were ready to help. I have used Champion Energy Services since July of 2008. In September 2017, they added back fees to my bill and stated that the meters were swapped from the beginning. March 1, 2019, my neighbor put their home on the market and stopped paying their electric bill. April 29, 2019, my electricity was turn off for non-payment (and this retailer was not able to tell me why my power was out.) After my power was disconnected, I discovered that my neighbor managed to get the service address for our electric bill switched.
Since I was retro charged a little of $500 in September 2017 I would estimate that a neighbor that I didn't even know their name before this happened has caused me close to $750 in extra charges. No one can seem to answer why a customer would pay a neighbor's bill and that same neighbor pay my bill? Nor can they explain why, if this change was not intentional, did a neighbor stop paying the bill when they believed they would no longer required the electric service?
The other question I have, is how can a change like this happen without the approval of both parties? The icing on the cake. As I have been trying to resolve this, I have been asked multiple times to renew my contract. As of June 18, 2019, I am still out of pocket for a change I never authorized. You need to watch your bill closely with this retail provider.

I’ve enjoyed my experience with using Champion Energy. I’ve been with them for five years or so, and I went with them mainly for the rate. They always have a good rate plan. So, every time I move, I use Champion. From the times that I’ve dealt with customer service, the service is phenomenal. I just have questions as far as establishing service at one apartment and then another one. And all my questions are always answered timely and accurately.
Normally, I just apply online to establish my date of service, and the lights were turned on then. It’s more so like the convenience of it. When I know that I go online, I put in my Social, I'll wait a couple minutes, and they tell me that I’m approved, just like I did recently. So, I went on the week before, I applied, my service is established, and when I went over there Friday evening, the lights and everything were turned on. Even on top of that, just like the few days that I was billed for, the bill was only 50 bucks, which was great.

I'm a super user for Champion. We own a lot of condominiums that we rent out and I give my referral code to all of our residents when they’re signing up for electricity. So, my electricity through Champion is super cheap because I keep getting all these referral codes. Every year, I have to get a W-2 from them because I get over $600 worth of free service from them.
Champion's got one of the best deals around. We've been with them for about 15 years now and doing the renewal is fairly easy. They’re straightforward. A lot of the other companies are kinda shifty. They’ll charge things like base fees and user fees that are not easily identifiable when you're looking at the plans. That's part of what I tell our residents. They can go with anybody that they want. We go with Champion because traditionally, they’ve had among the lowest prices. They may not have exactly the lowest price but they’re almost always the lowest priced, and also a lot of companies will have a lower price for a higher usage. The price that they advertise is the 2,000 kilowatt-hours per month plan. But most of our units don’t use 2,000 kilowatts of power each month. It’s well below that.
If you're looking at a plan from Reliant versus a plan from Champion, and Reliant’s plan says that it’s 9.8 cents per kilowatt-hour versus Champion's plan at 10.3 cents per kilowatt-hour, that looks like Champion's more expensive. But the reality is that if you look at under 500 or under 1,000 kilowatt-hour usage, it might be significantly lower, which it usually is, and that Reliant will also charge an extra fee with a below 800 kilowatt-hours of usage each month. So, all these things go into the price that most people don’t know to look for.

When I moved to Texas, I was shopping around for energy providers and Champion Energy seemed to have the best rates here in the area. It also came recommended with the referral code of my realtor. I then went online with the referral code and went through a two-minute sign up process. I've had a one-year contract with them since August of last year and I'm absolutely gonna renew. Also, I’ve already used my referral code to get three more people on. It got me a $50 bill credit and got the new referral a $50. I feel good about that and that’s why I keep passing on my referral code. The people that use my referral code are always listed on my bill and those people get a $50 off, too. Then, they get their own referral code, which in turn, can be for someone else.

Just recently switched from TXU. So far my experiences with Champion is good so far. They were helpful with my questions during the switch. The rate is pretty reasonable. I have seen lower rate with other companies but you have to be in a certain range to get the cheapest rate. But Champion's rate does not fluctuate much between the low usage and high usage. I have 10 business accounts with Champion Energy. Then I started doing my individual condos and my apartments through them as well. I received a call four years ago and he said, "I'd give you a better deal than the other guy," and he did. I've had very good interactions with the reps at Champion. They explained the new terms and conditions, and they were very thorough. The installation of my energy service was very simple. They had to do their own on their end to light them up and they normally go to the computer program and reset everything. I think that’s okay. There's not much difference between Champion's service and that of the other provider that I used in the past, only in the price.

This is the only energy company I could find with straightforward pricing. Everyone else has base charges if you don't use a certain amount of electricity, or credits for using over a certain amount, etc. Makes it very difficult to understand what you will actually be paying, not to mention all but impossible to compare plans. I call and get a real person in the United States. I recommend Champion most of the time and I offer that I would call it in, but most of the time, my clients just ask me to call it in. I loved Champion when I fist signed up, then after the first year was over my rates went way up, free weekends ended. I was told those are no longer available, but you offer them to new clients. Bottom line is new customers are valued but loyal customers have their rates increased. I have never been late or missed a payment, yet I have to pay more cause I stayed with Champion. Looks like this is the future of customer appreciation, Spectrum does the same thing. You should show the same loyalty to your customers as some of us have shown you.

Champion Energy is pretty good and reliable. I've been with them for many years as their rates are lower compared to others. They send me a lot of reminders through email and it’s really easy to renew online. They give me a lot of options, like for two or three years renewal, but I do it every year.

I started using Champion Energy in 2013 when I moved to Lindale. They’ve been recommended by everybody that I knew. Getting their service was very easy and I called back recently to renew my contract because my rates had gone up. You do like a three-year contract and they give you a certain price per kilowatt. After that contract is over, the price goes up. I renewed with them last fall for a five-year contract so the price per kilowatt would be lower. I talked to somebody on the phone about it and I was done after about 15 minutes. Whenever people move to town and I have an opportunity to recommend somebody, I always recommend Champion because they do a great job.

I liked Champion's price along with how many star ratings they had. I've been with them for a year and a half and it was easy renewing my contract. My first contract with them was for a year. I also called them about putting another house under their plan and had excellent customer service. I had TXU years ago and I changed to Champion Energy Services. Then we bought a rental property and we used Champion there for a while. When the renter moved in, we canceled that service and had them sign up with it. I just called to get it set up and there were no problems. Champion Energy is a whole lot cheaper than TXU and they were very easy to deal with. Their professionalism and overall performance have been excellent, too. I like Champion Energy.

I have a ministry and I help a lot of poor people who don't have electricity. I have them go with Champion where they can get cheaper electricity. I get on a three-way line with them, and that way, I get my $50 and they get their $50. The reps whom I've worked with have been great. They answer my and take care of whatever I need taken care of.

Champion Energy is better than my previous provider. I was able to speak with someone when I called to turn on the service and they were readily available. I didn’t have to be on hold for a long time. Most of the time, the interactions with the people I spoke with were good and I feel great about the service.

Champion has great, affordable and renewable energy. I did a general search online back in 2009 and at that time, Champion Energy was the most affordable. And every time I've renewed, they've been great. They do an excellent job so I'm pretty happy about that. Their reps have also always been great. I was referred to Champion and I've been using them for years. My brother and I have about 30 or 40 accounts with them, and we both like the service. If I have any questions or I wanna add a new account, I can call them and they typically answer right away. I don't have to wait on hold. They've answered everything fairly quick and they've resolved any issues that I've had fairly quick as well. I also like that they have a $25 referral fee.
I have many different accounts with Champion and every one of them has been really good. There was one a while back where one of the gentlemen told me that if I wanted the service faster, I could pay an extra $35. It didn't end up happening. When I called again, they told me, "We don't even offer that," and my account was credited back. The person that I spoke to at the end ended up resolving everything. Other than that, everything has been perfect. It's been an A+ experience with all the services that I've gotten.

When we bought the house, Champion had the best pricing going, so I took it. I get an email that tells me the usage, et cetera every month. It's kinda along the lines of when the internet exploded. Overall, the performance and reliability of our service have been 100%. I've referred quite a few people to Champion.

My previous electricity provider was Reliant and they were very expensive. Champion Energy is cheaper. I've been with them for many years now and the experience has been great. The switch from Reliant to Champion initially was seamless too. There was nothing I had to do. I also like that I can pay online. Then their representatives are also on the spot. When I call, they take care of whatever problem I might be having.
One time, I called Champion because I had a patient who didn’t have electricity for a week because Reliant had cut him off for non-payment. I’m a physical therapist and he was a disabled veteran who had no money. He was living in an apartment complex and Champion got him electricity with no deposits. He didn't even have to pay his Reliant bill. It was awesome. Champion Energy does good work and I like them. In fact, every time I get a chance, I get somebody to switch to Champion. They have a program where I can make money if I refer people and I’m always talking about what a good rate they have and what a good company it is. I have referred five people, which has made me a little money and also made them a little money on their bill. So I like that.

I have many accounts with Champion Energy and I've been with them for almost 10 years. They always offer a low price and they are quick. Everything that I need, I just go online, and tomorrow, I have the light immediately. And it's very easy to renew. I can also go online to do it or I can just tell them. Champion has better prices than Reliant, our previous provider. I have several accounts with Champion so I pay attention to the price and they are still comparable. Over the years, I buy houses and fix them up and sell them and I have property for rent too, so sometimes, I have to shorten the length of the contract, but they've always waived the fee because they know what's going on. I tell them I have five accounts and this one has to go because I sold the house and they won't keep the same provider. I also try to keep them with Champion. I say to the buyer, "Here's the rate. You can just switch it over." I tell them I had a pretty good experience with them. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

Our experience with Champion Energy has been good so far. I like the weekly usage report that they send out. Also, we're currently in the process of building our house and the temporary place that we're living in right now is not energy-efficient, but our bill has been reasonable. When we finally get our house built, we would have an option to shop providers and we would look into Champion Energy first.

Somebody at my husband's work recommended switching to Champion. We had TXU at that time and we had a much higher per kilowatt hour charge with them. We could go online and make a switch. So, we looked through that and saw that TXU is high and then compared that with Champion. Champion also gives $25 to the customer that comes on and $25 to the person who recommends switching to Champion. I got a referral number from the person that already has Champion, and I put that in and signed up online. Also, whenever I renew my contract every year, it's through email. I just click on something and it renews. Champion's service is excellent. I highly recommend it.

DISCONNECTION NOTICE: I am so DISMAYED with Champion Energy! Back in August/September 2018 your company had a glitch in your billing which caused a DELAY in billing which I was told would NOT affect me as I pay my bill EVERY month! I was ASSURED by your representatives in customer service SEVERAL times when I called asking if they are sure because my billing always showed PAST DUE... And I was ASSURED it would NOT lead to a disconnection notice! And look at that. IT IS!! YOU ALL LIED! I have the email from a Anna ** stating that it would not be disconnected as long as I paid my bills on time... I asked her to get it in writing because I have been burned before... And lo and behold... Burned again!!

The prices at Champion Energy Services, as far as what they advertised on the radio, was cheaper compared to my previous provider at the time. I've been with them with two houses. We moved out of one house and moved with it to my current house six years ago and that was smooth. I didn't have any issues with that. Also, the bill is low and they have a very fair rate with not a lot of fees.

I switched over to Champion because of their price. As far as installation, everything has been switched, and I’ve done it through the internet or phone calls. I've been with Champion for more than five years now, and everything has always been resolved with them. Whenever I renew my contract, I would contact customer service to get the lowest rate. The service I get has been excellent and I refer Champion to others.

I went online and found Champion Energy. I had looked at their Google reviews and they were good. Their online site is understandable as well. Also, the installers were able to switch everything over. When I started with Champion, they gave me a $50 card for referral and that was nice.

I've been with Champion for at least five years now and I have all of my accounts on Champion right now. The service is very reliable and in the couple of times that I have called in, I’ve had no trouble. The representatives have been very helpful and they have always taken care of any issues or problems that I've had. I like Champion much better than my previous provider and I recommend them. They’re a straightforward company that provides a good service at a decent price compared to others on the market. In fact, they have some better plans for the consumers to choose from.

I had a lot of issues with TXU before and saw that Champion Energy had the best rates. Then I found a lady named Donna from Champion Energy. She is a collection analyst and she has the best customer service. I have a lot of dealings with Champion because I have about 30 vacation rentals and 60 different units, and Donna takes care of things quickly and greatly. The service has been switched over time. Some of my properties are vacation rentals, so Donna turns them on and then we transfer them to the tenant. The rates have been fluctuating and we got hit pretty hard this last round. The rates went up pretty high. I have looked a little bit and there were some better pricing, but I just wasn't ready to pull the trigger. I'm happy with the service from Champion, and Donna has done a phenomenal job for me.

Champion Energy's offers were much more economical than those from the energy provider where I was. I switched to them and I've done almost everything online, from reporting outages to watching when the service will be restored. Also, I get texts and everything else, which I really like. I've been with them now for several years and I can't see myself ever switching over right now. Champion has great plans and their service is very reliable. With other companies, people have billing issues and we've never had any type of issue at all with Champion.

I’ve been using Champion since I moved to Texas in 2013. Somebody said they had good rates and I was referred. Enrolling was easy and I was getting a good rate. Before my contract ended, they sent me the rate quote, which was low compared to other companies. When I called to renew, the reps just renewed and they were professional and friendly. Champion Energy is good. Whenever I refer them, I say it's the best package and people are always looking for the rate, so I tell them they have good rates. I have referred a few people and they’re liking it so far.

I've used Ambit for my home for a long time and the wind power one was expensive. Somebody I know had used Champion, I switched to them and they were all right. They have a better deal and I like the locked-in price. Signing up and getting the electricity turned on were both easy and fast. They also got a website I can log into for the bill. When I'm doing a utility or service like that, it seems to be easy. I'd be able to do it by the phone 'cause I'm out. I need to be able to set up automatic payment and if it's not easy, I would go the next one. If you're considering Champion, call their number.

We've been with Champion Energy for a few years, and they've taken great care of us. The people that I've dealt with on the phone have been very customer service oriented. We love Champion's referral program and we really appreciate the military discount. It makes a big difference. I recommend them all the time. Their rates are competitive and I tell people that if they're military, they have the military discount. Also, with the code that I can give them, they can save, and we can save.

I have a handful of rental properties, so between tenants, I have to set up accounts for these houses. And I use Champion Energy because it's convenient, there's no nonsense, and I get a customer referral every time. They usually get the job done when I call them to set up a new account. They get it started the next day. I have to sit through and listen to some statements, which is kinda boring but they tell me they have to read them to me. All my houses have electricity now. I just call them up and have them change it out or terminate it. The service is there when I ask for it and it has been very good. They haven't let me down yet, and the billing's accurate. I'd tell others that Champion Energy works good. I like it, the price is competitive, and they provide good customer service. I recommend them to all my tenants when they sign a contract with me.

I switched from Ambit Energy to using Champion Energy services and I liked the plan and the free weekends. At first, I wanted to try Champion but since it was working better for me and it was cheaper, so I stayed with them. I contacted the customer service when I moved and I didn't find any issues in updating my new address and taking out the dates and the service, as well as starting on the new location. They connected my service the day before the date that I was moving in. There was an overlap of a few days in switching the accounts to the new address but everything was fine.
The overall performance and reliability of Champion's service so far are great. I'm very happy. Also, pricing is very fair and I never received any surprises. I can pay the bills online and I'm given the weekly reports on usage, estimated monthly, and when the bill's gonna arrive. I recommend Champion to my friends. If you're not happy with the service you're using, try Champion too.

A guy I worked with had formerly been in the business of working with large commercial corporations and businesses and shopping malls to help them select the most cost-efficient provider. He said he thought Champion Energy was the best, looking at how much you actually use and where you are. I had TXU and I switched over to Champion and I'm very happy and pleased. I was upset that I didn't renew the contract. All that rigmarole, which is such a farce is the same with all the providers and I wasn't happy about that, but Champion is good.

My friend recommended Champion Energy to me. I signed up online and their website's good. When I started using it, the price was good but lately, it has gone up. I have two properties where I'm using Champion, but then, when the contract is up, I need to re-evaluate the price. So, it could be cheaper but the service area is good.

I was looking for lower rates when I started with Champion and they have always been able to give me what I've been looking for. So I'm still with them. I've been with them for years and I've even had to open a number of accounts. I have new constructions going on and I have calls for temporary services. So in the last year, I've talked with them at least 10 times, and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. For the construction projects, they have to do installations, which also involve inspections, and the technicians who come out have been very good. I'm happy with Champion. The service is excellent and they're always on top of things.

I was shopping around for prices when I decided to go with Champion and I do that every time my contract renews. Similarly, I would advise others to shop around for rates. But I've called some other companies and I'd rather not go with them because of the way they portrayed themselves over the phone. Champion, on the other hand, does that very well. When I've had to call in for something or to change a credit card, I have not had any trouble with that. Everything has worked well over the phone and they have provided good customer service. My experience in dealing with them is professional and I'm satisfied.

I signed up in April 2018 for average billing, so I could then set up auto-draft and my bills would be more or less the same every month. NOT SO MUCH! For five months my bills were about the same (200-210). The sixth month, my bill was more than twice the average month's bill had been. I contacted them and they said my average billing contract expired this month so I have to pay all the unpaid portion. This is exactly why I wanted average billing, to avoid a large surprise bill! I have had average billing before with other providers. It's intended to be open ended - if I had known it was tied to a finite date I wouldn't have signed up for it. They are not willing to work with me on the amount so I now have a $500+ bill I need to pay for. I'm looking for a new carrier.

I have quite a few properties and I wish that Champion have a real estate investor or a landlord department because right now, I'm having to set up each individual house separately but they're all under my name. It's messy. They make me sign the energy statement and then I have to prove to them that I sold the house or I have to turn on my utility along getting a house ready to rent and then I have to send them the rental agreement to show them that I'm no longer the person or else they charge me cancellation fee when I'm not really cancelling. There's not a good avenue set up for landlords, real estate investors or tenants in and out, to do business with them. It's just complicated. But everybody has always been very nice.
Sometimes the installation has gone really well but sometimes it has been a difficult experience because the window that they give us to be at the house, when it's a vacant house, is just a really huge window and you don't even have a place to sit or anything to do at the house. With another company they have a builders department. As a landlord or investor who's flipping houses, you can go through the builders department and you've got the same contact that you would use over and over again. They set up very streamlined turn ons and offs and we don't have that with Champion.
There was also one bad thing that happened when I bought a house from someone, subject to their existing mortgage. They were going through foreclosure so the way that I bought it is I took over their payment from their mortgage. The mortgage on the house is still on their name, but I pay it every month. There wasn't any kind of legal documents and they still have access to the mortgage to see that I'm paying it. They were having some other financial troubles and they wanted to make things difficult for me so they were calling Champion. Even though the service is set up in my company name, they called Champion twice and got them to shut off my service.
Since the house was under construction and there was no one living in the house that caused all kinds of havoc. My pool got shut down, so it turned green, which cost me a lot of money to get cleaned back out. My workmen would show and there would be no electricity and then it would take Champion a day to two to come out and turn it back on. I don't think that someone should be allowed to turn off service when the service isn't in their name. What they were doing was they were sending a copy of the mortgage statement that is neither here nor there if the service is in my name. They shouldn't have been able to turn it off. Someone should've at least called me so that was a problem. So dealing with Champion for my business has been difficult. Nevertheless, everybody has always been very nice and from a personal standpoint my service once turned on has been great
I switched to Champion from TXU on our personal home, initially, because we have another friend that uses solar electricity and he recommend Champion to us. It's probably the most economical of all of the providers in our area so that's why we switched and why I continued to stay with them, despite the difficulties I've had on the investor side. It's economical, for sure.

I have been a Champion customer since 2016 and I've noticed the weekly energy reports are what I believe to be dishonest because of the illegal smart meters to rip people off. Said my energy was up 55% from the previous week and I hardly used any power except lights and some light cooking and occasional ac coming in and it goes up 18.80??? That's definitely wrong. Also the 50.00 bill credit, you now have to wait 60 days before you get it when before it was applied immediately to your next bill? If this trend continues I will switch companies "again."

I liked the Champion Energy Services price at the time. I went with them and interactions with their reps have worked out well. However, I wish that they’d quit adding charges on. When they started, they didn’t have all this add-on stuff but now, they’re piling it on like a city does with the water department. Still, Champion is the best that people can get right now.

When you lock into a contract, Champion's energy charge does not change for the entire duration of the contract. The charges from your utility may vary depending on your usage, but all consumer pays these charges regardless of what electric company they are signed up with. I used a different electricity provider before and then I met one of the senior vice presidents in a Boy Scout deal. He told me that he’d give me a really good deal if I went with Champion and so I did. My electricity is performing and it's all coming from NRG. One time I talked to somebody from Champion and he said that he would give me some deal of Astros tickets. I gave him my phone number, however, I never got any feedback. But then I’m getting a good rate. Champion is reliable and I refer a lot of people to them.

I bought my contract out with my previous provider at the time things were really high. It was affordable for me to buy my contract out and I would save more money. I ended up with Champion because of the prices and I've been with them for a long time now. So far, they're doing great. They have good rates and good customer service too. I talked with them last week and they were very helpful to me in going over rates and plans.

All electricity providers are similar. They all use Oncor so they all utilize the same exact stuff, but it's the rates that set Champion Energy apart. I've been very happy and satisfied with Champion Energy. They gave me a referral number and code. And every time I have a new tenant, I give them the information. I tell the tenant that they can use anybody they want, but I use Champion and tell them the story about me trying to use them in my home but I can't because of Magic Valley Coop. I also tell them that if they get turned on, they get a $25 credit to their account. Champion Energy's pricing is comparable and most of my tenants end up using them.

I called today to discuss changing my energy contract. First, when my contract expired in June, all I received was one email, which I overlooked. I don't know about you, but in today's world I occasionally look over an email or two. Other companies I have used in the past have at least called and/or sent snail mail. Needless to say, my month to month rate went into effect, and I was alarmed when my next bill was due. So I hurriedly entered into a new contract, which is also horrible. I finally had time to call today, as teachers don't have much time during the day to make business calls, and was told they can only help me get into a better contract if I pay the $250 termination fee. Otherwise, I should have switched within 3 business days. Thanks a lot.
I told them that other companies have offered to reimburse me for those fees if I switch to their service, but I'd rather keep my business with Champion as I have had no problems with them up to this point. They plainly told me, "No," that they'd rather lose my service than waive an early termination fee. As a loyal customer that has never missed a payment, I am shocked at how little they care about their customers. Champion Energy only cares about surprising you with higher bills and collecting fees now. I will be switching due to their inability to be flexible and creative even if they are politely rigid and shortsighted.

The pricing of Champion Energy is much better than my previous electricity provider. The overall performance and reliability of the service are very good. I just pay the bill and if there are any issues, we go through Oncor. So, everything's good and I have referred a few people to Champion. Other people need to switch as well.

Champion is great. The rates seemed reasonable compared to others. And when I call in to speak with someone, they speak English. We've never talked with anyone at Champion that wasn't customer friendly, accommodating and easy to talk to, which is not always the case. I also like and appreciate the update that tells how much I've used during the week. A day before yesterday, my friend and I were singing the prices of Champion Energy to a lady that just moved here from Tennessee. You should get Champion, too.

It's difficult enough to get ahold of a real person when calling Champion Energy. When Corlonda answered my call, she couldn't answer any of my questions regarding rate plans. I simply asked if there was a reason new customers are given different rates than existing customers. She told me she couldn't answer me and would have the BILLING department call me back! I told her I did not need the billing department as it was not a billing question. She went 'round and 'round with me not answering me, but simply repeating her canned answer over and over. It's fine that she didn't know the answer, but I don't appreciate being passed on to someone else who isn't the right person to answer my question. I then was transferred to Terrilyn who was so rude to me and bullied me into silence that I am now planning to cancel my service rather than try again with another rep.

I have requested that my service be switched back to PSE&G for 3 months now. I have been a customer of Champion Energy for over 1 year. Apparently, in November the contract expired and the rates were converted from fixed to variable. I have been trying to resolve this matter now since June. Every month my billed rate is higher and higher. My most recent bill indicates that I would have been billed 0.11 per kwh with PSE&G which is equivalent to $145. 53 based on my usage. Instead, through Champion 0.16 and the current charges are $207.70. Last month was over $40 more and this month was $60. Over the last several months that has totaled over hundreds of dollars.
I contacted PSE&G today and they indicated that there has not been any request submitted by Champion Energy to be converted to PSE&G. The customer service personnel are less than helpful and the supervisors do not return calls or assist when calls are escalated. I reached out to PSE&G today who indicated that they NEVER received notice from Champion. I contacted Customer services again for the 4th time since June. I keep getting the same story. It will be escalated and someone will get back to me in 24 hours. This matter should have been resolved months ago. I will never recommend this company to anyone. They are experts in scamming customers.

My 87 year old mother answered the door and one of your representatives told her that Reliant was no longer and that they changed their name to Champion Energy. Two months later, we now have a Center Point energy truck at our door telling us he is going to cut off our power due to non-payment. She has always been direct draft from her checking account. Now I spent the next few hours switching back. Being this dishonest right from the start. I have no use for you.

Champion hires other companies to go door-to-door, selling their services. The person who signed us up told my mom that she should be getting a discount of up to 40% because she is over 70 and that she could get the discount after her first full bill if she signed a 36 month contract. The only discount that Champion offers is a 10% and that is only on a 24 month contract. They took the person's information, but as he does not work directly for them, I doubt that there is anything they can really do. Personally, I felt that they could have offered her the 10% discount at least for the 24 months, but her contract is too long. On top of all of that, her bill was actually $70 higher than with her original company. We're stuck for 35 more months, and then we are out of here. Champion made no effort to make things right, and they should and could have done better.

Champion provides good service and keeps me up to date and informed. On the other hand, their rates continue to go up each year. They are less competitive each time I renew and I don't gain any benefit from being a long time customer.

It would have saved me time had there been a selection button for the silver plan. It was not clear my apparent that I had to verify qualification first and then from there select that option. I verified and then went back to the list of options. Ended up having to wait for chat help.

You asked on the email sent to me if I'm happy with my new plan rate, well, while I love to stay with one provider and hate switching around, I expect that my new rate be less than my previous plan rate considering the length of the new contract. But that's not the case... so not happy!

I had initially received a renewal rate of 6.2 for the Champ Saver 24. Wasn't aware rates change so quickly. I waited to see if I received again the same offer but instead all the later offers I received were pretty high. In addition to that on choosetexaspower.org it is advertised that the Champ Saver 24 included an AC Tune Up but was told by service rep you don't anymore. Not interested in thermostat or bulbs as I already have those in my home. I have been with Champion ever since I moved to Texas.

I was disappointed that Champion would not match the price with First Choice. As you can see I still stayed with champion. I have recommended several people to Champion. Rachel ** is amazing. I was upset after renewing my contract. I looked at my current bill after I paid it, I found that I renewed at a higher percentage. I called to voice my displeasure and cancel my renewal and possibly my service. Rachel was amazing, she was so informed, so knowledgeable, she took the time explain the market pricing and even tried get me a 2 year contract instead of 1 year I had signed up for, but the market price already was going up. I think you should use this call as a training tool for other employees. She showed professionalism, concern and definitely eager to help me with genuine concern. She made me a customer for life. Customer service representative was very helpful in renewing my contract. One negative aspect about renewing was that I did not receive the $25 renewal credit that I received when I renewed in the past. Champion Energy provides us electricity and they have that weekly consumption graph that shows how much consumption of energy you’ve used for the week which I like. In several instances, we have been out of town and our consumption has shown like it’s the highest when we’re not even there so we’re wondering how that is happening.
I spoke with someone yesterday and everything was fine. He handled pretty much everything well, though he was not able to provide me the information that I requested because he said he didn’t have it but they were all positive.

When we started out with Champion Energy, it was just a cost thing, but it grew into something more than that. I did it all online, which was great, and the process was smooth as can be. They provide excellent performance, and I’ve never had any issues with them. I like the weekly email that shows my usage because I’m all about control, and controlling my money. That feature lets me know where I’m at, instead of waiting at the end of the month to have a surprise. I would recommend them. In fact, I’ve actually had four friends from different cities that I’ve helped sign up with them.

I really appreciate the weekly emails I get that shows how much electricity I’ve used every day of the previous week. My other electricity provider didn’t do that, so that’s a benefit from being with Champion Energy Services. I had some questions about my bill so I called their customer service team and they were very helpful and I was able to understand everything. I called back because I forgot to ask someone if they could charge my credit card every month instead of having to send them a check and they helped me with that one too. They were very professional. I don’t like Champion. I wanted to get a better plan but it doesn’t fit for me and my family. I can't even get an extension because I didn’t make three consecutive payments. They don’t even consider that somebody lost their job. I was not even asking for the whole two weeks. I only asked for four extra days and I couldn't even get that. Their customer service is very bad. The rep didn’t answer my questions about the bill being so high. She tried to argue with me about what comes to my email. I shouldn't have to wait three consecutive months to get an extension. Their system is set up not to do it. It’s not like the bill wasn’t going to get paid but now, it's not going to get paid because I don’t care now. I don’t want to have services with them anymore. I would’ve never had this problem at TXU or Reliance. I wouldn't recommend them to a dog.

I'm getting married next month and we were trying to find an apartment. We were going to wait until then, but one that we had really wanted for a while came open, and so I went ahead and got it. But then, we had to have an electric company by the date that we moved in or we would get a hundred dollar fine. I used a different company a while back, but my brother uses Champion and he recommended it, so I switched. It looked way better whenever I compared everything. Also, Champion was the only one that could have done it right then. So we did it and we were able to get the electricity without getting a fine.
I've only lived in this apartment for one month using Champion, and so I've only had one bill. But that bill was literally $100 cheaper than any bill I've ever had with the other company. I was paying close to between $150 and $200 a month with the other companies, and I wasn't even at home much. Everything worked out, my bills have been cheap and it's been awesome. It's now starting to get cold here and so this is when most of our trouble usually happens, but so far, I haven't had any issues. I would recommend Champion.

I use Energy Ogre so they just find the lowest rate for me. Champion Energy has the lowest rate and I've been with them for a couple of months. They send me weekly e-mails about products and like my energy consumption and those have been fine. They're not too invasive. It's just informative. My favorite thing is the e-mails I get where I can see my consumption. But if they could have that like in an app form of some sort where I could see it all the time very easily, that may be helpful. Overall I get cheap electricity and haven’t had any issues.

I talked to customer service at the very beginning to get all the change set up in my apartment. They were nice, and they helped me. Then after that, I receive emails every week letting me know how much electricity I’m spending to keep track of it. The service is really good. I will recommend them totally. You can’t really beat the price, except for this month where my bill went up. But prior to this month, I didn’t have any complaints. Their price was the reason why I switched to them from my previous provider and it was better than I expected.

There's a new program in the city that we live in that allows electric companies to bid for the lowest price. It becomes a group rate for everyone that agrees to change, and since the process was done through that negotiation, everything was handled for us as far as the switch from our other power company to Champion was concerned. So, it was a real seamless transition. We've been really happy and it's been a good experience. I really appreciate the weekly e-mail statuses to let me know how much power I've used in comparison to the previous week, and an expectation of what my bill is going to be. It helps with budgeting. If others can get the low rate locked in, similar to what we did, then it's definitely something to consider.

They told me about themselves and their rates, which was better than the provider I had used, so I signed with Champion. Their reps were very nice and helped me with whatever question I asked. I did not know the specific due dates so I asked the agent and she told me that I can pay the bill between the 28th the 30th. Since the day I had Champion, my bill has gone down considerably so I'm recommending Champion to people. In fact, I have told two people about them already.

There was another company that I called that had a lower price than them, but because of how I was treated on the phone by the sales team, I chose to go with Champion. The other company didn't really care whether they got my business or not and they were rude to me and wouldn't give me information. But Champion's customer service was fantastic. They were very helpful when I called them. They took the time to explain all of the different plans that they had. And they were willing to help me figure out what was the best plan for us. They did a great job.

We’re a real estate investment company, owning about 300 properties, and we've got Champion Energy whenever we buy rentals. The service has been good and the representatives at Champion I’ve talked to have all been fairly good. We used to spend hours on the phone with Champion every week trying to get services started but now, we submit through email and it’s much easier than it was before. Yet because we have so many properties, we have to create separate accounts for each property. It would be easier to have a master account number and have all of our accounts listed under that account number. Other than that, all has been good, especially now that we’re able to email the request for service. And I also tell others that our experience with them has been positive.

Champion Energy seemed to have the most “no strings attached” policies and it was recommended by the friend, so I went with them. I dealt with the customer service rep online, and then the techs put the switch. The plan I have is very simple, and there's nothing fancy about it. I don’t get lower rates during particular times or there’s no reward or special features, but it’s just a consistent, unchanging low price. It's reliable with no breaks in service. I'd recommend!

I liked the price that Champion Energy offered. I live in an apartment complex and during the installation, the guy worked in the background doing what he needed to do. It was a painless experience. Champion's service is pretty good and I like the consumer weekly reports. It’s nice to know how my energy usage is changing day by day. I can backtrack like with the weather and know that if it was hotter or colder that day, I used more energy. Champion is reliable and there’s not a very big price gap which is nice.

Champion's customer service representatives are awesome and they've helped me out. I’ve only had Champion for two months, and my experience has been good so far. I used a different electricity provider before and now, my electricity bill is not as high as it was before.

I haven't been with Champion for long, however, so far this month, they've been cheaper than what I had paid previously. For a very brief time, I used Mountain something. Before then, it was, another one I can't remember. Then it was TXU before that. The rep I talked to was very polite and thorough. In addition, he answered all my questions. Installation was very quick. However, they had to replace the meter outside often. Other than that, it's been very good.

I switched homes and the previous owner had Champion Energy so we stuck with it. We got behind in payment for a month and I had to call them to see if they were getting it fixed, and they were helpful, courteous and professional. Then, we paid it and they fixed it in a few hours. I wish it was cheaper, but it was good and everything was smooth. I’m happy with Champion Energy so far.

I would tell friends to try out Champion Energy. We just moved into our home and we were in a rural area. We didn't have an option and use anything else so we had to use a specific company. So far, everything has been good. It was easy signing up with them. And their sales team are friendly, efficient, and easy to deal with. When we moved in, the installers came out and put up everything. It was a very, very easy transition.

We were with Champion before then we switched to a different provider but we ended up going back to Champion because of the prices. I like them better. I’ve been able to do everything online and I didn’t have to go through a whole lot. I like it convenience-wise but I want to be able to talk to someone personally if I have a problem. Champion has great dependability and I would recommend them.
