    The sales people were very good and courteous, and the pricing was better than I anticipated. The front door part was not as expensive by quite a bit that I've been quoted in the past years for replacing the front door. So we were okay with the sales presentation and just went with it. I had a front door and a walk-in shower installed by Bath Planet. The shower took a little over a day, which was fine. The installer did the shower installation and also did a floor repair on my half bath. That was all included in the price, which I felt good about.

    The whole project took pretty close to two days. The installer was working by himself. He did excellent work except the shower doors. The outside one would hang up and it was rough, and it came off track once, opening it up because I’ve had a bunch of gummy stuff up on the railing and on the rollers too for just on the outside door. So he came out and tried to clean it up but didn't quite get all of it. So a couple days later, I just cleaned it all off myself, because what he noticed that the two rollers on the door also were all gummed up with some type of a real sticky, gummy stuff.

    We kept the shower pretty simple. We have one grab bar in one corner unit. The main thing that bothers us about the shower is that we weren't told that the floor would be concave. I just expected the shower to be flat. My wife and I are both in our 70s, and we've both had trouble adjusting to the concave floor. It throws us off balance a bit sometimes. Also, our relative said he slipped and lost his balance in there a couple times too. I asked about it, and I was explained it's like that so all the water runs toward the center and away from the corners so it doesn't get a mold buildup. But the corners are not square. They're angled down, so I don't understand that. We’re not happy with the floor of the shower.

    I love the door. The installers didn't speak hardly any English, so they had a little trouble getting it all squared. But it's good. I had James come out and he did a couple of minor adjustments. They didn't ask about changing the key to match our other house keys and I was told they should have done that. But overall, the pricing is good. The shower installer is real good. I'm a perfectionist, and so a couple of things were off a little bit. But he did an overall good job, plus a really good job on the half bath flooring. I already recommended him to a couple of friends before we had a couple of minor issues. But Bath Planet is still a good company.

    I had a positive experience with Bath Planet and I'm thrilled with my outcome. They explained what they did and how they did it, what I wanted done, and how long it would take. But there wasn't pressure to do it. He had all his samples, and what we could pick from, and had pictures of clients that had it done. He was very friendly and did an excellent job. The guy that came out there and installed it was good. He was very professional, cleaned it all up, and hauled away the old stuff. I was impressed. Bath Planet would give you a good deal and they do great work.

    I implore you to find a different company to do your bath remodel. It's a bit of a long story but I recommend reading it to save yourself a lot of hassle later. Keep in mind throughout, this is the very first time I felt the need to ever make a bad review of anything online. It started fine, with a salesman for measurements and a quote. We let them know *extensively* that we had a family member with a disability and thus would require an elongated shower so that they could use it, to the length of 72" rather than the 60" standard.

    Everything seemed fine up to that point and the salesman asked us to leave a good review for them with Google reviews. The salesman came out a second time to take a second set of measurements as an alteration needed to be made to the side the showerhead/drain was on (not a big deal). The salesman took pictures of the 72" measurement using a tape measure and marked with tape the length (pictures that we have seen thanks to the extremely kind, helpful, and amazing contractors), as well as explaining the size of the shower to us.

    This is where we made our mistake. We got complacent with the explanation and didn't thoroughly check the contracts, which had drafted with the standard size of the 60" instead of the 72" the salesman had quite literally marked onto the floor. When the contractors arrived and we called the "sales manager" to explain the discrepancy. Beyond the "should have read the contract" and "nobody lied to you" lines made infamous by stereotypical salesman everywhere (he actually said those lines, I'm not joking), he came up with what sounds like an excuse so ridiculous I almost couldn't believe it.

    Folks, this man tried to say that they measured out to 72" instead of 60" in the photos because there "are lights in the room". What? It's 2024, how many bathrooms are you renovating with no lights?! More so, why does the existence of lights change a measurement of length? If the room didn't have any lights, would you then have decided to only measure to 60"?

    If they were worried about ceiling electricity (of which there were no lights directly above where we wanted the renovation) then why was the measurement photos with the markings on the floor? I don't see any lights on the floor. That's not to mention this "sales manager" was neither at our house for any of the measurements, nor did he explain why having lights in the bathroom meant the salesman needed to measure out exactly 72".

    If the salesman knew it was supposed to be 60", why not just measure and mark out to 60"? I mean really, just take a moment to think over what I said again to soak up the absurdity. "The reason we measured, marked, and took photos of the exact measurements of 72" the salesman told you you were supposed to get, was because your bathroom contains lights." Did you think that maybe all of the photos are taken and marked at 72" because that's the size we were told by the person taking those pictures, and even the person taking photos (same salesman both times) thought it was 72"?

    When he informed us it would be approximately another $1000 to change the shower to the 72" length we had wanted, I told him that I needed some time to discuss with the co-signers. I hadn't even gotten halfway through with discussing it with them before the "sales manager" texted the contractor (again, the contractor was a cool person at least) to tell the contractor that we were going to have the size increased. Jeez man, the contractor was literally right there with us, of course we saw the text with you seemingly gloating about your victory of having us pay another thousand. Maybe it wasn't a gloat and was just keeping the contractor informed, but they were literally right there in front of us, and we hadn't even made a decision, let alone signed a new contract at the time.

    The sales manager gave me a corporate number to call to get back to him. I called it and asked the woman who answered and confirmed it was Bath Planet if there was a number for complaints. She gave me a number for a completely different company who works with cleaning gutters. I'm not making this up, this SNAFU happened in real time as the poor contractor tried to help me find who to actually contact. In the end, I didn't find the right number to contact for corporate complaints, so decided to do the next best thing and inform others.

    Overall, I'm almost certainly going to pay them to just finish the work with the correct size because it would be too much of a hassle to do anything else. Don't be like me though. As a disclaimer, this is the truth as I understand/saw/heard it, and as it was explained to me. There could be some sort of miscommunication going on. If there is though, do you really want to go with a company that cant understand or explain the issue? Do you want to go with a company with a sales manager who thinks you are so dumb that you'll believe anything he shovels you on the spot? I'll be telling anyone I know about this fiasco and they can come up with their own opinions about the company. I'm perfectly fine paying another 1k for the fix if it means that others can avoid the issues I ran into.

    Bath Planet started the work in October. Today, their installers finally finished putting the last piece on. But the shower still leaks. Every time I called Bath Planet they said it was backordered or would say, “We got the piece in to come in now. And we're going to put it in next week.” I said, “I'm sorry, but we got sick here. We can’t have you next week.” I called a week later and said we were better. And the rep said, “We gotta order it. We got it backordered.” I said, “You just had it last week.” So, that took another five weeks. They were just fooling around. It's ridiculous. They didn't know what they were doing. They put it in. But everything is backwards. Also, the installation company owner and his associate talked to me rudely.

    Bath Planet's presentation was great. They showed me how quick it can be done and all these different colors. We went upstairs to the bathroom and I could match colors with what the rep had in the book and I could choose a different shower head. I liked them a lot. I did a bathroom remodel and it was easy. I got a shower combo. The installers came in the morning and took out the old one, and they kept working all through the day. They really worked hard, and around six o'clock, they were done. I love the quality. I would tell my friends to give them a call. They did a great job. I could have gotten the project done a little bit cheaper somewhere else, but they were such hard workers and I would much rather pay that price and have them do anything else I need.

    I'm disappointed with Bath Planet. I had my bathroom done and there were some things that needed repair on it. I was hoping to get a 100% complete job but I didn't. I'm trying to get the guy to come back and I keep getting stories after stories. The guy was supposed to come on Saturday so I cancelled all my appointments but he didn't come and he didn't call. What kind of company does that? It's like pulling teeth to get somebody to come here and I get excuses.

    Bath Planet was a sub on the job and they were the best part of it. They did the first part of the job, which was the walk-in shower. They were excellent and efficient. They got their work done quickly, professionally, and well. If I had done the whole job with them, it would have probably been a lot better. Bath Planet's part was done in a day and a quarter. The first day when they left, everything was in order. When they came back and finished it the next morning, everything was nice and organized and all set to go.     We had a shower retrofitted as well as a new sink and toilet installed by Bath Planet. The project was moderately small. It took a lot longer than I wanted it to. It took almost five months to go and get from A to Z. It finished about four months ago. We have an older house, but at the same time, a lot of the stuff was not installed correctly. So, I did have the toilet leak through the ceiling. We had to fix the ceiling twice in the kitchen as well as have the bathroom sink fixed since it leaked right above our refrigerator. So, there was a bit of an issue with that install. They had to come back and redo my kitchen ceiling about three times over those few months. So, it was very problematic. I don't know if the subfloor is even 100% fixed. Overall, it was not the most productive environment.

    Bath Planet did a pretty good job. The gentleman who did a presentation was pretty good and he represented the company quite well. They put in a walk-in shower and they changed out the light fixture. The price is a little steep, though, and I would tell others to shop around a little bit for a better price. But if you got the money and you want quality work, I'd recommend Bath Planet.

    I was in the hospital and my wife was getting an operation, which was why I wanted the bathroom, so she could step into the walk-in shower. It's perfect for us both now. I got the seat, which is good for her, and the bars. Everything came with it so it was nice. The sales reps from Bath Planet were nice and efficient and the installers were great. They did a very nice job. They came and did everything right away. Ordering the door took a little while. The one I ordered wasn’t in stock. They put in the door but I didn’t get the glass doors until a month later. It didn't affect us much though.

    I had sticker shock on the price but I know what bathrooms cost. All the prices are up and it was the convenience of it. So it was working for me. The quality of service was good and I’m happy. I had a kidney transplant and I fell over the side of the regular five-foot tub standard. I was lying on the floor and I didn't want anything like that to happen to my wife. So it was an ease on my mind getting the shower. I was happy when my wife came home and got in it.

    Shower installed at end of November 2023. Installer didn't cover anything in bathroom including the floor. When they left after 2 days floor grout had to be scrubbed with a toothbrush to get it clean. Left driveway a mess, damage to walls, knocked shelf off wall and broke a few things. The the worst is the caulking job. Don't think the installer did not do a professional job. I have called several times to get it resolved. Always the same answer - someone will call to get it scheduled, as of today still waiting.

    I like Bath Planet tremendously. They do what they say they're gonna do. There wasn't a hard sell. The salesperson was almost too sweet. It was to the point where I thought the whole thing was a gimmick because he was so good. He was able to be reached. He was responsive on questions. He gave me facts and figures and was very helpful. I like the way the he came in and gave me a great idea of what's gonna be used. We had their shower stall, flooring, sliding doors, and fixtures. We were able to customize the shower and where we wanted the accessories. The installers were phenomenal. I tried to hire them to do other work for me. But they were too busy. They couldn't do it.

    I signed a deal online to possibly get a free shower makeover for seniors for free and Bath Planet was one of the companies that responded. However, it turned out not to be free. I kind of felt like I was forced into it. After signing the contract, I told them that after all the things involved, I couldn't really afford it. But I had already signed the contract and couldn't really get out of it. Then, they started a day late. Not all the parts were sent with the shower enclosure and they didn't have the right parts to put the drain in. It was one thing after another but they got everything resolved.

    Their salesperson was fabulous. He was upfront and made us feel at ease. He didn't try to push us into anything. He saw what we needed and knew what we had to work with and worked with us. The installers were like part of the family had come in to remodel the bathroom. We bought them some lunch and it just felt very comfortable with them. They got here early in the morning, and then they were here till about 7:00 that evening. They were neat. The bathroom was cleaner after they left than when they came. We got a walk-in shower and I like the bench in it. The bench is so nice. It's always there. I feel a lot more safe on it. It was an all-around good experience. Every time we go in that shower, we are grateful. It's very safe. It's like a spa in our house. It's very nice.

    Bath Planet removed the bathtub and made it a shower closure, and installed sliding glass doors on the master bedroom bath shower. It looks so awesome compared to what we had. I checked every now and then to see what the installers were doing. So, they would explain every step of the way to me and just kept me informed. They said it would be done that day and they were done. The job was perfect. I got them to give me the number to the one in Chicago because I live in Arkansas and I gave that to my brother because he talked about having his shower bathtub redone.

    Bath Planet's pricing is reasonable for the quality of product that they have. The sales rep took his time. He was very friendly and really worked through us. He brought the products into the existing bathroom so that we could see it visually and how it would be. We did a full remodel. The installation was not what we had anticipated. We had a tile floor put in, and the installers thought it was going to be a much longer job.

    The people who scheduled it scheduled it for not enough days that it really needed to do the bathroom, and so they had to put in the floor in one day where it really needed more time. So, that got them crunched on other things. By the end of the second day, they were rushing. They were here until seven o'clock at night. Normally, they work until 5:00, and they were rushing to get the job done where things weren't probably done to even their standards that they would be satisfied with. My toilet isn't solid to the floor. My faucet moves on top of the sink.

    The installers weren't given enough time to do the job properly due to not them, but due to the scheduler. My biggest beef was there were two men and every time they needed things, they were constantly running to Home Depot. I was like, “They don't have this stuff on the truck. They didn't have a shopping list of things that they had to bring to do the job.”

    They had to go and get flooring. Every time one of them left, he was gone for an hour or more, because even though the local Home Depot, Menards and Lowe's are all right next to each other, it's still 15 minutes to get over there, find what they needed, and get it. This, too, took them forever to get. It really took up their time because one guy was doing most of the installing.

    We had what we were supposed to have because we were told what we needed to provide. We had provided the floor. They told us, “You need to get the spacers. You need to get all the concrete.” or whatever goes on top of the floor to put the tile in. When the installers first came, they didn't realize that they were putting in a tile floor. There was poor communication between all of it.

She told me how long the job was gonna be, and what day and how soon they could get to it. The installation guy was nice.     Several other companies said the bathroom in my master bedroom was too small for a walk-in tub unless they had to knock out the closets and a bunch of stuff. So, I went ahead and had them measured. But that was not the company I was seeking. I was trying to get American Standard and I was bombarded with calls for free quotes. It wasn't originally Bath Planet. They had another name when they first came and did the quote. And when they came back, it was Bath Planet.

    They only sent one man and he was wonderful. He was an older guy and he had to do a three-hour commute to get to me all of those days that he came. He did a terrific job. He came every day at 8:00 or 9:00, and stayed to 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon until he got it done. It was at least seven days. That was an imposition because I thought it would be one day. They built in a little bench. It also has the little ledges where I can put my shampoo. But the shower door is rickety when I open and close it. It needs to be tightened. I can live with it. I just open and close it gently.

    The shower that he put in was perfect. I'm very pleased with the shower. But he left the rest of the bathroom like it was and took off the other fixtures that I could have used that weren't over there by the shower. I thought they would do the whole bathroom, but the only thing they did was install a shower. It cost me 17 grand. I complained to them and they got another $1,000 loan to do the fixtures, which I had already sent them the pictures of the fixtures and I would pay an additional $1,000. I would have financed it myself had I known they would finance at such a high rate. I'm looking for a company now to take it over because I'll pay that forever in thousands of dollars of extra interest.

    Terrible experience!! Ordered a new shower. Shower showed on schedule but sliding doors were way too wide. Could barely get in the shower. They ordered us new ones. 2 months later…no doors. I sent emails and left messages but NO responses of course. Finally got email saying doors were in and they'd call and schedule install within 2 weeks. A month later I call my salesman. He finds the doors collecting dust in the warehouse and we finally get them. Then I ask “where's the no stick floor your salesman supposedly THREW IN?" No responses other than form letter which uses lots of words to say nothing.

    Can't get anyone to respond. They were all smiles and friendly before I signed the dotted line. Invisible after I paid for the job. Could have gotten the same shower from home depot installed for probably 5K less. This company's customer service (laugh) does not exist. I'd say the odds of us receiving the grip floor they “threw in” are basically ZERO%.

    I signed an installation contract with Bath Planet Atlanta on 5/20. I was told by my sales representative, Jules, that it would take 11 weeks from the date of my 2nd measure, to deliver the materials for my install. My second measure was on May 25. The last week of July, I called the office for an update. I only got the voicemail so I left a message. On 8/8, I get a message from Nicole stating that the materials were expected to be delivered by 8/26, if not earlier. 8/26 would mark 13 weeks since my remeasure. 8/26 comes and goes without any updates. I finally call the office on 9/5 ( yesterday). Again, I get their voicemail. I ended up leaving 3 messages requesting an update and for Nia to call me back. I did not receive a callback.

    I tried calling the office again on 9/6 ( today). Again, I just get the voicemail. I leave another message. I finally end up calling Daniel, the owner. While I am in the middle of explaining my concerns, Daniel interrupts me and tells me that he was driving and needed to get off the phone so he wouldn't get a ticket for driving while talking on his cellphone. He asks me to send him a text regarding my situation (which I did), and he assured me that he would call me back with an update by the end of the day. The day is over and I have not heard from him. I'm getting the runaround and they haven't even done my install yet. Do not do business with these people.

    Bath Planet promises are not to be trusted. This week we spent over four hours discussing our bathroom remodeling plans with a Bath Planet agent. We picked all the features and attachments we wanted. The agent quoted us a price. It was a little bit more than we were first wanting to pay. We told him we needed to think about it. He said he had several specials to lower the price. Even with the new price we still told him we needed to think about it. He said he wanted to call his manager and walked outside and when he came back he offered significant savings. The price at this point was nearly half of the original price. So we decided to take the deal and sign a contract. We gave a down payment of $4,500.

    I guess we were given too good of a price because two days later Bath Planet called and said they weren’t going to do the deal. Even though I had a signed contract that said they have to do the deal, no one wants a contractor doing work who doesn’t want to be there. Bath Planet promised to refund the $4,500, but has not done so yet. But when Bath Planet sounds like they are giving a deal that’s too good to be true, it isn’t true. They won’t honor deals that they make. To make matters worse, yesterday somebody new from Bath Planet called me to ask if I want a free consultation. I politely declined. Sure hope they don’t call again!

    Do not let these people scam and con you into thinking you will have a beautiful new shower/tub. They will excite you with too good to be true products at an astronomical price. And God forbid if you decide to finance and are approved they will make you think you're agreeing to the loan terms and assigning the project to them, but won't tell you that you're actually authorizing for the lender to deposit the full cost of the estimated project into their bank account moments after you sign!

    Then when you decide to cancel within the 3 day period allowed in the contract after reading their horrifying reviews, they will ignore you until after the 3 days and say, "Oh, no. I'm sorry, it's too late. If you cancel now you still have to pay us 50% of the estimate ($14k in my case)." Might as well let us take 100% for a terrible job, MAYBE a half way decent shower, and an overall nightmare (PAY ATTENTION to the REAL REVIEWS of their so called work-not the FAKE ONES POSTED BY EMPLOYEES like Kaye ** for example) of an experience. It's been over 5 weeks and I'm still waiting for them to return to the lender the $28,000 they're attempting to steal in my name. I submitted a claim with the lender, but I guess the next step will be a lawsuit after some more complaints on various platforms. RUN. RUN HARD AND FAST!

    We hired BP to install a walk-in shower as part of a larger bathroom remodeling project in 11/2022 - completed in 3/23. Just the facts: Pros - we are pleased with the final shower product, but not pleased with the process at all. Cons - although BP was fully aware of the nature of our entire bathroom remodeling project, unbeknownst to us, they initially installed a shower in 11/23 without pulling a permit! Since we could not move forward with the rest of our project, the shower had to be pulled out and a new one ordered, which was not installed until 3/2023. However, the ‘new’(?) shower installed was soooo dirty, with smudge marks and boot marks on all three walls as if someone walked on the walls!

    It was so bad that a ladder was needed to remove all of the smudge marks and we insisted that BP contractors return to clean the entire shower walls. But why they even felt that it was ok to install such a dirty product, after having to remove an initial shower due to their failure to pull a proper permit, is mind boggling! Finally, the BP contractors broke a glass picture frame and vent, though never reimbursed us! Bottom line, is that the BP process was very disappointing and very concerning. But so far, the final product has been fine.

    They called me, told me I could get a free estimate that would be good for 1yr. When the lady arrived I found it odd she didn't want to look at my bath room. We say at my kitchen table, and she was asking me what I wanted? I told her it would be easier for me to show her, so she finally agreed to look at my bathroom. Did her mold, moisture tests. Which pretty much passed. After watching videos of their company, etc. I told her I felt like I was at a job interview. She said she quoted me the lowest price ever on a bath and wall surround. I would ask how much certain things cost. She would say expensive. I signed the contract.

    I had questions that day after she left, of course she didn't call back. "You have three days to cancel the contract." I guess they think I'm dumb. On the 3rd day I canceled my big deposit check and I called them, Left a message to cancel my contract. Then I received calls right away. Go figure. I told her since I have a year with their estimate that I wanted to think about it. She said, "You don't have a year only 30days." Then I was told I don't even have the 30 days. She said she would have to come out and get me a new quote. She said she had skipped the "**" "and just quoted me the cheapest price so she wanted to come out and not skip the "**" this time I guess. They are not true to their word. I wouldn't recommend them. When you ask how much something is and they just say "expensive" That's not a good answer. She also laughed at me, and was rude on the phone. Thank God I had a sense of deceit.

    PLEASE READ. Possibly the WORST experience. Take the time to do your research on Bath Planet. Don’t be bamboozled by their salesperson, price, and false promises. This will not be a one day project and the crazy high amount of money will not ensure top quality product or a workmanlike experience, as we were told it would. I’ll try to make this succinct because there is so much.

    On day one of the project, no show from workers. Day 2, workers came and CRACKED a bathroom floor tile, which still hasn’t been replaced. Day 3, the project is still not done. Day 4, we’re told the project is “done,” though it wasn’t (there was no shower rod installed), and later that night the ENTIRE TUB LEAKS from the second floor onto the hardwood floors of the first floor (see photo) - this was due to a faulty bath drain stopper, inadequately testing the tub, and improper installation. They had to replace the drywall and ceiling downstairs in the kitchen and repaint.

    Day 5, a worker shows up unannounced/unscheduled with a RANDOM SHOWER ROD we didn’t agree to. The shower rod was not the same as contractually agreed upon due to a lack of proper measurements during initial meetings - we had to research what new rod would fit for them. Zero care and disregard for disrupting our personal schedule. Audaciously expected us to be at their disposal to accommodate them beyond the scope of the promised 1 day project.

    The quality of the bathroom itself is SUBPAR at best - we contested a blatantly obvious crooked “window kit,” unsmooth caulking, loose faucet, and paint damage to the bathroom ceiling, just to name a few. We had to request that they paint the bathroom ceiling as they argued it’s “standard [for them] to leave it that way.” The entire project took OVER 7 BUSINESS DAYS across the span of now three months. We haven’t heard from anyone in the company for almost two months, as they have stopped responding to our requests for them to complete the project. They were entirely uncaring and INVALIDATING when discussing a resolution to all of their faults and have threatened DEMAND FOR PAYMENT even though the job is not complete. Simply a money hungry business with extremely poor customer service and extremely poor bathroom quality. Do yourself a favor, save your money and look elsewhere. ANYONE would be better.

    I am providing a review of my experience with Bath Planet of Atlanta. I originally met with the Salesman on June 2, 2022, he was a super nice guy and gave me a good sales pitch. The thing that hooked us was the 2~3 day demo and install, turning our garden tub into a large shower and turning our old shower into a closet. Todd (salesman) said "no problem we do this all day every day". He did tell me that it took about 12 weeks to get materials and that there would be another 7~10 days to get the custom glass door. I signed the contract and that was the END of the positive experience with Bath Planet of Atlanta. I was told I would get a welcome email by the next day to tell me what to expect during the installation, to this day I have NEVER received that welcome email. Needless to say this company has the WORST communication, I had to initiate ALL of the correspondence with this company to keep it on track and to get any information.

    Needless to say my 2~3 day install with an additional 7~10 day wait for the glass doors took over a month in a half. The shelving that was put up on our walls in the closet actually fell off of the wall. I had to miss several meetings, reschedule meetings and was left on hold for 30 minutes one day, causing me to miss yet another meeting. Bath Planet of Atlanta has ZERO regard for their customer's time. I requested to speak with management NUMEROUS times, all of those requests went ignored (I have several emails to prove this). I tried to get in touch with the Sales Manager (Clark) because I was not getting anything accomplished with their Customer Service Coordinator (Nia, sweet girl but had no authority). He finally called me back one day and after that he never responded to me again. I would call and his voicemail would be conveniently full.

    On October 19, 2022, Nia was calling me back because I had not heard from anyone about fixing the shelving and I had picked up the call while Clark (Sales Manager) was in her office SCREAMING at her to "get this ** off of his back. That was when nice, understanding Tracy went out the door and I was furious, as I am sure anyone would be. I have also been in contact with the Owner (Daniel Bradley) who had ZERO concern that I had such a horrible experience with his staff. He could care less about all of the time I spent following up and project managing his staff, he had no regard for the fact that I had to miss meetings. I asked for my deposit of $3,000 back for all of the issues and inconvenience we had endured and he refused. He kept saying that the manufacturer's warranty did not cover refunds, this has nothing to do with the materials this has to do with bad business principals, company integrity and customer satisfaction.

    I am sure Mr. Bradley will respond to this review and say they fixed all of our issues; which they did AS THEY SHOULD HAVE. Again, this is not about if they fixed all of the issues or not (we never should have had to endure all of the issues we had to begin with), this is about integrity, customer satisfaction and good business practices. Buyer beware, check ALL REVIEWS and the Better Business Bureau complaints. I am not the only one who has had these issues with Bath Planet of Atlanta.

But the owner came down and talked to me, and then I spoke with the financial person, JP. All of them seemed to be transparent. I was also really impressed with the guys that came out to do the installation. The floor is vinyl, the shower, the tub. It's nice, but it's not the best. The door leading to the bathroom is also not straight. The contractor came out and we talked about how we could fix it. Hopefully, I'll be hearing back from them because I haven't authorized the funds for the bathroom until we're satisfied.

    I'm receiving calls daily from a Illinois number and don't live in Illinois. I'm on the do not call list but I'm still receiving calls daily. They have been reported numerous times to complaint department of do not call list government websites. I think this company takes advantage of seniors that don't know better as pricing given to my father at one time, just the bathtub alone cost over $10,000.     We bought two shower installations from Bath Planet. The quality of work was decent. We got them installed and we weren't super satisfied with them. We felt like they looked a little bit cheap. So, we kind of regretted going with the cheaper option. We wish that we had gone with regular tile instead of the bath inlay. What we didn't like was the limitations of materials that we could choose. Ultimately, we ended up having to have our installers come back several times to fix issues that we found with the shower installation. So, the installation process was a bit frustrating. I wouldn't recommend Bath Planet. It wasn't the quality of the material. It has nothing to do with the process or the people we've worked with. We just didn’t choose correctly for our house, unfortunately.

    Bath Planet’s sales rep explained things a lot more than others did. The pricing was maybe a touch higher than I was expecting but it wasn't out of the realm. And I liked their lifetime warranty. We had them do two jobs for us and after the first one, we were super satisfied with what they did and the lengths they went to make sure everything was exactly right. We liked them quite a bit. Both times, we had our master bathroom completely redone. The first time we did it was a major one. They took everything all the way down to the studs in the entire room and built it completely back up from scratch.

    In both houses that we've had with Bath Planet now, we've taken out bathtubs and shower and stand-up showers and had them turned in to just a large shower. They created a giant walk-in shower for us on the first house and it was beautiful. On the second one here, they made a larger shower with sliding glass doors. The house isn't quite as extravagant as the last one we had, so it's not quite as nice, but it is what it is. We also had new vanities, new sinks and new mirrors. It was a complete bathroom renovation. We love the results. If we ever have to do it again, they'll be the first ones we call.

    The people at Bath Planet are super nice, at first. They came and installed the shower in one day, and the shower is great. The installers were very professional and cleaned up. The problem came when they were done. They had chipped two of our tile up against the tub, but didn't inform us of the damage. They proceeded to caulk over the top of the broken tile, so now they cannot be replaced. Then, oddly, they were adamant on hanging our shower curtain. We now feel like this was a way to distract our eyes away from the damage. If we had known of the damage, I could have patched the tile before they caulked. Now, their customer service refuses to fix the tile, to pay for fixing the tile, and is not interested in rectifying the situation at all.

    There is a part of the contract that you sign saying they may break some tile, but they assure you this hardly ever happens. "Our guys are super careful" they say. DO NOT SIGN THE TILE RELEASE! They will break your tile, and leave you to fix it, costing possibly hundreds of dollars. I do not recommend Bath Planet of Arkansas. They are liars, and will not stand behind what they say. They can come in to your home, damage something of yours, and walk out the door without any responsibility at all.

    We needed an affordable solution for replacing our old, well-water-stained, broken, jet tub that was in the house when we purchased it, and the tile surrounding it which was beginning to lose grout, have mold issues, and in general was just not an attractive color/style. We got quotes from a few similar bath/shower remodel companies and Bath Planet was the most affordable with the most style/design choice options for the price.

    Overall we are pleased that the finished product is far better, sleeker, and easier to clean than what we had in place before. However, my recommendation of their company comes with some caveats. Here were the downsides to the experience - The salesman was seemingly not thoroughly trained (and thus inadvertently misleading) about details of the company's story and affiliations (Bath Planet vs. Joyce Co. Manufacturing vs. BCI Engineering products etc.) - as well as the details of the extent of their warranty - (The warranty actually only guarantees the BCI acrylic products, there's no mention of coverage for plumbing fixtures or the actual install labor/job performed. I had to write to the branch manager directly to get them to say something in email writing in response as to some sort of guarantee of the parts and labor!)

    The install went fairly smoothly, but there were some small mishaps. We ordered metal corner shelves that double as grab bars, the shelves that got sent were incorrect and the corrected item had to then be ordered. The installer struggled getting them installed with the screws being flush. The screws are now in at an angle and the gap around them sealed with a waterproof sealant/caulk. We can only hope that is effective enough to hold up and not make the screw holes become a wicking point for water to seep behind the walls in the future! It also consequently looks a bit unsightly and less professional than the rest of the job.

    We also had issue that the hot and cold water taps were reversed on the faucet control, and the tub's overflow drain was sealed, not letting excess water drain, so when stepping into the tub the water level rose enough to slosh over the side of the tub. We reported this and thankfully they were quick/easy fixes - the cartridge on the faucet control knob had to be pulled out and turned around and reinserted to get the hot and cold to correspond with correct sides of the dial. The tub overflow drain was sealed with temporary plug for shipping/transport and the installer had merely forgotten to remove it at the end of the install job.

    Lastly, the lead foreman overseeing all projects took the attitude of being defensive when these issues got reported. Trying to argue that the grab bar shelves didn't exist and that our hot/cold taps must have been backwards from the start even with our old shower (which it was not) - this sort of kneejerk first response was less than professional.

    I needed a good handicapped shower and Bath Planet was able to meet the wishes that I wanted. I liked what they had and that they customized it and they gave me a really nice quality shower. Their reps were great. Mitch did a great job. There was some miscommunication and things had to be redone, but the guy took over and made sure they were done. They gave me better than what I had signed up for and they were willing to look at anything needed. Bill did a lot of the installation and he had some hassles but he had a real good attitude. I like the way that they worked with me to get something that I would be happy with.

    I didn't just have a shower done. I had them rip off the existing shower which was porcelain tile and changed it to a linen closet. Then I had them take the area where my soaker tub was and make that the shower. It turned out really nice. And I have four handicap bars, a bench, and an extra little holder that my husband can sit down with the faucet head and sit on the bench and get a shower. The bench matches the base and I also have those barn doors. They look really nice.

    I like the quality of the materials. Although the drain in one of the sinks in the master is not working. When they initially put those things in, they used the same drain and they've already replaced one of them but the other one now is not working. Drains need to be replaced occasionally and the good thing is that Bath Planet told me anything that they put in, they would cover. Also, the faucet in my daughter's bathroom, which matches all the hardware I bought, seems discolored and I'm wondering if I could get another one like it.

    The sales rep from Bath Planet was very nice. The reps came and measured, and we talked about finishes, designs and colors. They wanted to make sure that the flooring and the walls matched compatibly and that the tub was what I wanted. They were very careful to make sure that I got what I wanted in that bathroom instead of suggesting. They opted me to tell them what I envisioned and it came out well. We're very pleased with it. The quality is very good. I didn't quite get the countertops I wanted but when it was over, I realized that it was my fault, not theirs. I had not been clear about that.

    The service was very good too. They came when they were supposed to come. They got done what they were supposed to get done. They didn't have a part one day, and the guy went out in his own car and hunted it down until he found it and brought it back, and they got that part done. It went very smoothly and I was pleased with the whole process. It was a good experience. You always have a little glitch here or there and some part didn't show up or it was the wrong sizing. But in the whole, it went well.

    I inquired about what a ballpark cost might be to remodel a bathroom. I know it can be a competitor of theirs however I just wanted a ballpark'. Not an exact amount. I said that on their online form too. They call you on the phone and the rep asks you a lot of questions (how old is the house, any work previously done) which is fine. They need to visit your residence to give look at the project to provide a quote. However, they ask that all principals (owner of the residence) be in attendance when they come to your house to look over the project. This is a high-pressure sales tactic done as they do not want to leave your residence without a signed contract. This way you cannot say "Oh, I need to ask my and get their opinion." The actual work appears to be subcontracted out. I could go to a big box hardware store, purchase everything I need and pick a name from the contractor bulletin board just as well. Be careful out there.

Since we customize every bathroom that we remodel to that individual owner’s wants and needs, it is impossible to give even a ballpark estimate over the phone, there are just too many variables. Also, without conducting an onsite bath inspection of the wet area to determine the condition of the walls, substrate, and plumbing, it is impossible to determine what costs will be involved in potential mold remediation, bringing antiquated plumbing up to current plumbing codes, and applying for permits etc. Any attempt to try to “ballpark” a custom bath remodel by going in blind, would result in an unfair quote to both parties.

    It is to the benefit of all parties to have everyone who uses the bathroom participate in the onsite bath design. There will be several decisions regarding colors and patterns, fixtures, storage accessories, location of grab bars, shower heads, shelves, shower doors and hardware that will require the input of everyone who uses that bath. This is not a “high pressure tactic” as you put it, quite to the contrary, we want to get the feedback of everyone, so we don’t have to keep returning to the home to go over all of the options a second and third time with other family members.

    Additionally, Bath Planet uses only the finest high tech polymer materials that will stand the test of time and are not available at any of the big box stores that you suggest.     The first contact was 11/2021, I called several times that they had not forgotten (ok holidays, weather). Well January still no product, have not forgot. We finally got an installation date February 17th & 18th. Made arrangements for me to be away. When returning 19th husband advised that the wrong sized was order and the floor pan could not fit. My husband and I are seniors, we thought we had made a wise decision, because of my knees not able to lift leg. We called and could not give us an answer as to when it would get here, they did put a rush.

    We have been taking baths and doing sponge for 11 days. We even joined YMCA to take showers there. Today it's Monday February 28 and we are still out a shower. They did say that if we went to hotel, they would reimburse me (we have a dog) so they would deduct from our bill. If it takes this long to get something done. I may not see that money until months later, I am sorry that we did not do homework, and check this company. This was a two- days JOB

    Worst installation job ever. Bath Planet installer came in on Saturday February 12, 2022 to install our shower enclosure taking out old tub, putting up new shower surround, base doors, and hardware. 1. WORSE caulking job I ever seen. Caulk goes anywhere from even to 1" not to say on shower glass doors, wooden window frame, on the ceiling, floor. Inside trim of doors, cracked old tile outside the new surround, parts do not match up evenly. Then to top it off water leaked into basement. Called company on Monday 2/14/22 asking to speak to Sales manager. Told that I had to go through installation manager, told the lady I wanted to speak to both manager and to come to my home and see the lousy job they did,

    In the meantime I had my bank hold payment on the final check. The installation manager couldn't get out until Thursday the 17th. After speaking to them a few times they would send the installer out that night after he finished his job. (Never Came) A plumber came that evening fixed the leak, nothing else. Tuesday we received a call from the billing department asking if we had a problem that we stopped payment on the check, explained to her it has be released but we still have issues that NO ONE is addressing She said that someone would call on Wednesday Feb 16th to discuss the problems. We told her that Wednesday would be no good as I was having surgery she said she would note it and someone would reach out on Thursday,

    Well week later Thursday 2/24/22 and no one has attempted to call us back, How many calls do we need to make? Bath Planet knows we are not happy and they're avoiding us completely. The Sale representative, sales manager, installer and installation manager needs to look at this crappy work and fix it. It looks awful, for the amount we paid we should get something more professional, A new installation of a new system or a refund with a signed paper that they will still honor their warranty should be applied. They need to make this right. They're so proud of their Seal from the Better Home and Garden Approval. Save your $$$ and go somewhere else. See pictures more pictures are available.

    I had two bathtub and shower replacements done by Bath Planet in the Dallas area. I was very disappointed at the quality of the workmanship and materials. For example, the caulking was thick, very sloppy and did not match. The tub spout was plastic instead of chrome. I spent about $18,000 for Bath Planet to do this work. I am now going to have to go back and replace the caulking and hardware myself. I was also concerned that all of the copper plumbing was removed and replaced with some kind of plastic tubing. I raised all of these concerns to the installer and company representative but no action was taken to resolve the issues. I deeply regret using this company.

    We have had 2 contracts for walk in showers. One 4/2021 and one 11/2021 because we moved. First contract had some issues but the second totally unacceptable. Mismatched grab bar (doesn't even match the color in the contract). Grab bar crooked. Shower handle protrudes too far because they put a 2x4 behind it. Ryan (installer) cut a 14X8 inch hold in the floor so the drain area is weak, making it unsafe. Jimmy caulked a 2x4 under it trying to hold it up, not acceptable. Used clear silicone without cleaning off the drain plate or edge of shower door and now looks like crap. We had people working on cement in the basement. No response from Chris after 3 emails and when he finally did respond, didn't follow up as he said. This cost us over $20,000 with both of them. Go elsewhere, you'll be glad you did.

    Do not go to this company to get a bathroom shower install no contact with you and not very good customer service and they want a very large "deposit" for their product upfront to build, went to their Novi Mall store front, set appt, they sent a rep out from Grand Rapids, July 20,2021, did a contract gave him a very large deposit, he said probably not until Mid November, we call today just before Christmas, our rep is no longer with the company, and we needed to call on the other side of the state that was of course much closer to us in the first place... by the Novi Mall store, still no dates as to when we could expect any type of date... Not sure why we need to call as the customer, and this is not very good business taking so much money if you cannot get your product, would like very much to speak with the owner about this.

    This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They do not vet their contractors. They just hire them, give them a big bonus and send them out to Botch consumers' bathrooms. I asked to be let out of my contract when they didn't have enough installers. I was told that couldn't happen. Now I am stuck with the ugliest shower.

    The first contractor did the demolition and apparently then didn't know how to install the plumbing nor drywall to get ready for the acrylic walls. Another contractor started three days later. This contractor and his team Austin were the absolute worst. They couldn't put my shower door together, they did the worst caulk job, they did not connect any of the plumbing but they installed the shower walls anyway. They used so much caulk to hide their errors. I complained about the job half way through and they allowed the same contractor to continue with the project. The general manager Darren wanted to sign off on the project as complete.

    We used the shower one day and the water leaked all into the kitchen the drain was not connected at all. The water came straight from the shower pan because their incompetent contractors didn't think to connect the drain pipe which caused damage to my new cabinets. To this day my shower head hangs and has not been installed correctly 08/17/21.

    This company is the worst company that I have ever worked for. They botch your house and then have the nerve to be rude and nasty to you and they don't take accountability for anything that they do. I just moved into my townhouse 5 months ago. I wanted a new shower and they have screwed up my bathroom so bad I am going to have to pay to have someone else put in my shower. Bath Planet doesn't pull the proper permits. Buyer beware. You will be screwed royally and then threatened afterwards.

    My husband and I signed a contract and paid a down payment in March to take out our tub and replace it with a shower. We were told and it states in our contract that the work would begin in 8-10 weeks. A couple of weeks before the work should have started, I received a call from Derek stating that “due to production delays” our work would be delayed about 4 additional weeks. Ok fine. Well now we are at almost double what we were originally told. We never hear anything unless we initiate the contact, and even then sometimes may or may not get a return call. It always “two more weeks”. I think it may be time to cancel and find a new contractor.

    My husband Chad and I went with Bath Planet back in April. My husband had talked with a rep, Chris W. about doing drywall, a bathtub/shower combo, and tiling the floor. He was told verbally that this would be in the contract. The agreed upon pricing was 9500. Well, when he signed the contract, it was actually for a bathtub/shower install and tile install (we buy the tile) only. He didn't read what the rep, Chris, had written. He just trusted that what he wrote down was what they had talked about.

    When another rep came to take pictures, he mentioned the drywall. We said we thought this was in the contract? He said no. He also stated that it will be a 10 week projected start date. We had already put down a 50% cash deposit at this point. We were able to negotiate with our rep, Chris, but it took weeks! My husband was the one who had to keep calling him, and when he did finally reach him, he gave every excuse from a "tire blowout" to "death in the family".

    We finally were able to renegotiate and sign another contract. This time, they said that they would do the drywall and leave out the tile installation. We agreed to re-sign a new contract. Again, if we had decided to cancel with them, they would get to keep 3k (33%) of the money we already gave them. Well, we waited.

    Did not hear from the company until almost ten weeks later. Near the projected START DATE. The message we received was a phone call from a scheduler, Victoria. She called to say that the materials would not even SHIP until July 22. They then would need to be inspected, and that there is no projected start date yet. We signed the contract on April 13. Given the poor communication both with the initial contract, and not calling us about the delay until the projected start date, we want to go ahead and just pay the 3k to get out of the contract.

    My husband is going to talk to a rep in the cancelation department on Monday. He had tried yesterday, but big surprise, no one was there to speak with him that day. We are just so frustrated! Obviously we are paying 3k of our hard earned savings (we are healthcare workers) to a horrible company for doing absolutely nothing in return, just for us to have the ability to leave. It is just so frustrating to blow that much money, but we are so scared that if we don't, thing will get way worse with them. We have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau, so I am hoping we will get a better response, there.

    Do yourself a favor and get a trusted general contractor to install a shower for you the right way: HardieBacker board + a waterproofing membrane like Schluter's KERDI, and get onyx or similar panels installed for a smooth grout-free shower. Even if the surface isn't 100% water proof, the membrane sure as heck is. With this product you'll wait 6 months for this flimsy plastic to be installed, which is only sturdy if it is perfectly bonded to the drywall underneath. With my luck you'll get the B-crew that screws everything up resulting in plastic panels popping off the wall, along with the usual incompetent mistakes like plumbing leaks. The only real water proofing is the plastic and the caulk at the corners, which even with plastic strips behind the corners, this is nothing close to a water proof membrane installed on cement backer board. Given you'll pay 5-10k for this, you can do so much better for your money.

    We called Bath Planet's rep and things worked out well. The only thing that took long was to get the product. Once we signed paper, it was 12 weeks to the week that they were there to install it. They did a bathroom remodel for us. The installers were there at 8 o'clock in the morning and they were out at 1:30. They took the old bathroom and tub out and replaced my pipe. They cut the pipe halfway and put the showerhead on that. They also reinstalled the walls they had put in.

    The quality of work is pretty nice and all of it is guaranteed for life. But I'm gonna have them come back in because there's a corner they missed to caulk. Bath Planet is good but I don't know if a lot of people can afford them. What they did for me for five hours was $8,000. I've gotten bids to do my other bathroom and they're down to $3,000. Other than that, this has been a great experience with Bath Planet.

    Somebody from Bath Planet called us and it happened to be the right time. We kind of appreciate the initiative for the call and they gave us what we wanted for the price we wanted. The installation was great. The workers were very respectful of social distance, mask and cleanliness. They were very expedient too. They were done in a day and a half and the workmanship was great. My only complaint was that I did want a white tub. That was one of the changes that we had made. It's not white but it still looks good in there so it's fine. We're happy with the end product. I like the size. It was the biggest one that we could get in our space and everything looks so clean and nice. We also got a handle to hang onto getting in and out of the tub because we're getting close to 70. We had one of the little shelves where you can put soap added and a cubbyhole. It was an excellent experience. It was satisfying and enjoyable.

    Originally, Bath Planet had someone schedule my appointment, but then he canceled. His mom was sick in the hospital and he never got back to me, so I was going to go to some other company. But then, they called to follow up and I told them the situation. They said, “We'll give you a really nice discount as an apology for his handling of your project.” So, I gave them another chance. They did the tub and they redid the wall behind it. The installation was good. But I noticed that they scuffed up my doorframe and a little on the walls. There also might be some putty or caulking residue still left on it. That was a little bit of a bummer. I wish that they would have cleaned up some of the scuffs that they left in my bathroom. But they did a good job overall. The quality is very good too. It's holding up so far and the tub is very sturdy.

They took away all of the debris. It was a good experience for us. However, the materials used was not up to the standard that had been sold. We're very unhappy with the job because of that. The materials they used reduced our water flow to a substandard level. My wife cannot draw her bathwater and get it to where she likes it before the water gets cold. I was told that the faucet going to the bathtub was only for one and a half gallons per minute. That's also substandard. Also, we don't have a shower connected in any way with that bathtub. The water faucet putting the water into the tub has a shutoff valve on the top for a shower so we should've not had that.

    Make sure the heat duct to be moved is done prior to the installation. That was covered in the contract but they didn't do it. Therefore, my flooring has not been repaired yet 'cause they couldn't do it at the time of installation of the shower and tub until the heat duct was moved. They had from September the 6th until installation in December to get that heat duct moved.

    Purchasing from Bath Planet went well. We knew that we wanted to get it and the rep was trying to go through his spiel and sell his product. We wanted him to get down to the nuts and bolts of it. He wasn't quite comfortable with doing that but we finally convinced him to do it. We didn't care about the product but we just wanted to see what the end results were gonna be. My mother-in-law is 84 years old and we wanted to convert her bathroom that's off her bedroom to be easy for her. She loves it. It's very easy for her to use and very pleasurable, which was why we did it. The installers did a good job. The only thing that was a little perplexing was when it came to installing the safety bars. They asked where I wanted them. Maybe it was something that you need to customize but Bath Planet should have a standardized thing on where you put them and how you put them in.

    The first company I looked at told me that they couldn't change the drain. Bath Planet came in and said they could do everything including upgrading the plumbing and the wall. We were able to go through all the samples and make good choice. I had a knee replacement and a hip replacement. It was awful hard for me to crawl over the bathtub to take the shower and I hardly ever use the bathtub. I had it taken out and Bath Planet put in a shower.

    They made one mistake during the installation. The water was hooked up in reverse. The cold was hot and the hot was cold. When I called back about the problem, they got somebody else that day and fixed it. I had a good time with the people that came out and did it. I would highly recommend them because they came in and did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves and really gave me a nice choice. I didn't go with a glass door because I couldn't afford another $1,000. But I managed to order a longer shower curtain for the shower and that seems to work really fine.

    I found out later that the guy didn't allow me the option that the base would look like the walls. I'm happy with what I got but I wish I would have had that option. I also wish I would have known more about the financing. It seems a little high at 14%. The cost that Bath Planet charged me was 5,000 something but by the time that they added all the finances, it ended up being 7,900. I wish I would have a chance to go see about privately financing it with another company.

    My wife said everything went okay. We had to call Bath Planet back because there was a bit of caulking that was left out on the outside steam, so they had to come and fill that in. The only thing I don't like is the showerhead. The showerhead they put on doesn't have as much water pressure as it used to have. I would have chosen a different showerhead or one with the regular shower and then one on a hose. Other than that, we're pleased with it. The cost was comparable to the work.

    I made my purchase with Bath Planet in August. I had to call and bug them in October 'cause I hadn't heard a word out of them about a date for installation. It was in late October that my walk-in shower was installed. Their installation team was great. They replaced my bathtub with a walk-in shower. I have carpet in my bathroom so the shower they installed had a couple of inches less depth than what the bathtub had. So, there were a couple of inches of bare floor between the carpet and the new shower. The installers put in a cheap piece of wood. I'm not happy with that and I need something waterproof there. The owner said he would take care of it but he hasn't and I haven't heard a word.

    When I first purchased, I gave Bath Planet $5,000 cash as I didn't want to give them the whole amount before my system was installed The rest of the cost, they put on an interest-free loan. When the installers finished they wanted the money I financed. I said that I had already financed it. I paid the loan off and the owner called me saying he was disappointed that I had done that for some strange reason.

    I went to the Better Business Bureau and asked for bathroom remodels. I got three quotes. We thought Bath Planet would be a good way to go and a lot of the reason was Tyler. He was really nice when he came out. I liked him and his demeanor. He wasn't high-pressure and he didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't want. He asked me exactly what I wanted, how much money I have to spend, and told me he could do it for me. He explained everything about the product to us. He told us that they stand behind everything and that they were local. They have a place at the Park Plaza.

    We purchased a bathtub, bath surround, wainscoting, and flooring. Shane was our man that installed everything and we were extremely pleased with him. He was really nice and he did a good job. He replaced everything. We provided the vanity toilet and he hooked all that stuff up too. But I need him to come back out and recaulk some of it because it had seeped in. My house is really old.

    Other than that, everything is great and we love our bathroom. The bath is so pretty and my daughter really likes the shelving in the bath. Everybody was very polite, really nice, and accommodating. They said I could just call over anything like the caulking and they would come and touch it up. Overall, our bathroom looks fantastic and we're super pleased.

    I'm 74 and I needed more of a shower situation than a tub. I have a place where I go to church and my friend, Kelly, had Bath Planet do two projects in their home. I went with her recommendation and I had them come out and give me a bid. The installation went fine and the product is excellent. It has great building materials and it’s all made in the USA which is what I was looking for. All that kind of stuff, I'm happy with. Bath Planet did a good job for Kelly and for me.

    The only thing I'm dissatisfied with is their communication and not finishing putting the bath vents in. They were terrible at returning phone calls. They don't do that promptly. They put in the shower on November 18, 19, and 20. I called on the 20th because they didn't get the bath vents. I left a message but nobody called me back. I take care of my elderly folks so I haven't gotten the time to tinker around with people not calling me back. I finally called them this week and they still haven't called me. They need to up their game for returning phone calls. We own a business so I know what that means. Our business line does not have any message machine. When people are asking for our service, a lot of times, it's very important or an emergency. Therefore, it's important for them to get a live person all the time.

    I paid more to have them do the vents. I need to have the bath vents in because my others don’t suck air. The guy who came out said that they would do it when they installed my shower. But the young man there said no and that that I had to call and have somebody else come out from there and do that, which I thought was weird. The part they didn't finish is not part of the shower. It's part of the bathroom but I don't know what kind of distinctions they make with that and why it had to be done by somebody else.

    Initially, the installers were going to take two days, Wednesday and Thursday. But because my pipes are old or need to be redone, the installer had a hard time with the sink which wasn't even part of the remodel. He went above and beyond in looking at that. They also snaked the drain of my bathtub when I had the bathtub. On the whole, the guys were nice and very polite. But the job's not done until everything I paid for is done.

    We had our master bath remodeled and we were happy with the work Bath Planet did. So, when we had our guest’s bath remodeled this time, we called them back. The rep was very good. But we were surprised to hear from the workers when they were here that he was fired. We asked about him because he was so nice. We had them install a tub with handles. They took out the old tub and there was tile around it. They removed the tile and put up new sheetrock. We picked up a medicine chest and a new light, and they also installed those for us.

    The installation team was very courteous. They were thoughtful because of the COVID, they wore masks. It was an inclement day, we live up in the hills, 1000 foot elevation and it was raining and blowing, and they asked if they could use our garage for cutting their materials. Of course, we said fine. And they left it clean. They had tarps down on our carpeting and cleaned everything up. The wife is very happy. We're in our 70s and she was diagnosed with cancer in July and she needed the safety bars. She's going through chemo right now and glad to have those installed.

    We were at a home show here in our county and Bath Planet had an exhibit. I spoke with them a few years ago but we made the purchase a month ago. We got a bathtub and the surrounding area in our front bathroom and a step-in shower in the en suite bathroom. The installation was disruptive but that’s normal and it went fairly smoothly.

    There were several places though where we still have glue or some sticky stuff on the floor and there’s a thing that’s loose on the grab bar in the front bathroom. It's where the bar connects into the wall. There was always a little round goodie that snaps on to cover the hole. It won't snap back on. It looks like it got bent. You pay that kind of money and you would think that little things like that should be done. Instead of the vendor, we called the number that was on the warranty and they said that they would get back to us. But it has been three weeks and nobody has called us. So, we're gonna call the shop that did it and they'll probably respond quicker.

    Bath Planet installed a shower. We have the seat installed and grab handles too. We had a little bit of issues because once the guy came out and talked to us, we didn't hear anything. We didn't know what was going on. We had to call them and asked if there was an update. There was quite a long delay and we were always the ones that had to contact them asking if we were gonna schedule an appointment. But the guy that did the installation was fantastic. It's very expensive but the final product looks beautiful. My wife would like a couple shelves more than were originally agreed on but we don't know how to do it.

    I would also recommend an integrated bluetooth speakers that are marine grade in the wall. I always take my phone or a waterproof speaker in and listen to music when I'm showering. If Bath Planet had one integrated in the wall that you can sync your phone with powered behind everything so it always had power and you didn't have to worry about a battery, that would be fantastic.

    After slipping in the shower and cutting my back on the sharp edge left of the seat that was installed I have come to the conclusion that Bath Planet's products are not safe. The shower pan gets so slippery it's like standing on a sheet of ice. Part of the reason I went with Bath Planet and the shower I did is that the salesman and the installer both said how the safety of my 94-year-old grandmother was of the utmost importance.     Bath Planet has been very good to us. We've had to call them a couple times. There were issues with the water being on the floor just last week, and Jim came. Ken sent him. He did a good job, and there's no water now. The little rings that hold the grab bars on the wall kept coming off. A gentleman came, and he fixed those and glued them down. They put caulking, but it's still like a glue. But we are very pleased, and it's beautiful. I try very hard using a squeegee and the spray to keep it nice.

    We were looking to get a bathroom surround. We had checked at Lowe's and we decided we didn't wanna put it in ourselves. We went to the internet and had four bids on a weekend. The best one was Bath Planet. It wasn't the cheapest, but it was the nicest quality material. The salesman was Ron. He was very forward in giving us any information and answering any questions that we had and didn't try to sway us to do something different. That was remarkable because other ones had an agenda when they got here. We have talked about Bath Planet in our family group, and some have come to see it already. They are in awe how nice it looks. One of the grandchildren said it's almost like being in a hotel.

    I submitted the contract with the Bath Planet sales rep in June and they started the process 11 weeks after the initial meeting. I only have one bathroom and they told me that they would have it all done in one day. That didn't happen. They came back the second day and finished. However, it was a long ordeal. There were seven or eight visits before it was finally done. It was a mess.

    The order itself was wrong. They had to replace the shower doors with different doors which was an upgrade so they made it right in that regard. The owner gave me that upgrade for free so I was very pleased with that. However, they said I didn't order a seat with my shower but I definitely did. Then they put the seat in but they put the seat in wrong. They had come in and cut it off the wall. When they finally got the shower seat in there, the young man that they've sent out to do it didn't attach it to the other wall so the first time I sat down on it, it broke off the wall. Luckily, there's a bar in there that I held on to. I had to wait for them to reorder it. Towards the end, they cut the other seat off the wall because the guy had drilled it in wrong. They couldn't even unscrew it to get it off. So I do have a hole that they filled with caulking. You can barely see it and only myself and the person who installed it probably will ever see it. But if you pay $11,000 for something, you want it done right.

    The sales rep that was sent out here was the one that made all the mistakes. I ordered black matte accessories for the shower and black matte door frames. The day before they were supposed to come to the house, the owner called me and said, “I don’t know why he told you that the doors were in black matte because we don’t sell black matte doors. How about we give you a bronze finish?” I said, “No, the rest of my bathroom has black. I ordered black 12 weeks ago.” The problem was they waited until the day before to check their inventory to see what I'd actually ordered before they came out. I had to wait until they could find out if they had barn doors that were black matte and they're $2,800 just for the doors.

    It would have been okay if the owner would have been calling me through the whole process, apologizing and making it right. I would have forgiven everything. But he had his workers call me because he, apparently, was afraid to call me. The professionalism was poor. The workers were great and very respectful but I would definitely not recommend them to someone else only because of the way that the owner handled the whole process. The owner is probably the worst employee that he has for his lack of communication and professionalism. The work that they did is beautiful but it was mistake after mistake after mistake. The process was nightmarish.

    I went with Bath Planet for the price and they replaced my old tub with a walk-in shower. The person who did the sale did very careful measurements. He maintained a professional distance but was very friendly and approachable. Then they sent another person in to confirm the measurements and they ordered it made to fit the space I have. It was perfect. I picked my shelves and decided where things went. It was wonderful. Instead of a two-day installation, they managed to get it done in one day. The two installers were delightful, particularly the lead man. But both of them were great. They were quick and quiet. I work from home and I was in my office. I had no massive noise problems when they were deconstructing the original bathtub and surround. I barely knew they were here all day. They also put up with my dog who thinks everybody comes here to play with her.

    I love the final product. It's exactly what I wanted. I had had a walk-in shower earlier in my life and I had enjoyed it then. This one is just as good and just as much fun except this one has safety rails that they put in for me and some things that go more with my age. It's user-friendly. I'm not a bath person and we had a walk-in tub which I essentially hated because I take showers. This gives me glee. I use it because of the roominess of it and the freedom to move around. I like it. I have COPD so I didn't have doors put on it. I have a shower curtain and they hung it up where I wanted them to instead of where they thought they were supposed to, and it works out perfectly. One of the problems with walk-in showers and shower curtains is that it will occasionally bellow out and allow water to hit the floor. But if you hang that shower curtain right, it doesn't happen. They listened to me and did what I asked which was a delight. I really like when they are willing to listen.

    Shane was good but we got a problem. There's dirty-looking water running out the weep holes down in the pan. He looked at it when he was here to put the shower door in. He was supposed to come back in a couple of weeks to see what they're gonna do about it because I'm not gonna have it unless they're gonna fix it. There's a bad discoloration in the caulk too. The caulk looks real yellow and we got a light gray shower unit. It looks like it needs cleaning, but I’ve cleaned it. So we're sorta not pleased right now because that's a lot of money. We've already paid two payments.

    The Bath Planet rep called me this morning and said Shane was gonna come back in a couple of weeks and check it out and see what they were gonna do about it. But I'm not gonna pay any more payments until we get it fixed. Shane was a nice guy. He was a real good installer and very conscientious. We really enjoyed him. When he came, the shower unit and the head was supposed to be down at the right end but they sent the wrong pan. So we went ahead and let him do it on the left end. The unit itself is really nice. We were enjoying it. But something needs to be done when you pay $8,000 for a unit. We just want it to be like it's supposed to be.

    The knowledge level of the sales reps was really good. They were able to answer all the questions that we had. My wife was pretty picky too so they were able to help with that. Then the installation team used safety precautions. They had masks on when they were in the house and they cleaned up after themselves. There was a slight issue at first.     Bath Planet did really well. I had two salespeople come out because we were dealing with the state of Arkansas and one came out. They gave us our estimate. Then we waited for the state for six months. Then they had to send somebody out to bring Bath Planet their appraisal. The delay wasn't on the end of Bath Planet. It was all due to the state of Arkansas.

    The installation went well. I have noticed a little bit of the caulking releasing, some water getting behind it. But I haven't gotten a chance to give them a call to figure out what I need to do to get it fixed. But it's only in one little bitty spot that I've noticed. My grandmother loves the product. Just the simple fact that she can actually get in there, not have to step over the side of a bathtub.

    My wife was in the hospital and my children and I were trying to figure out what we would have to get it where she'd get up and down the stairs and in and out of the shower.     We're getting on the older side and we've put up with our old bathroom for about 25 years. So we decided that it was time for a remodel. We needed more storage space so I designed the bathroom the way my wife could have the max amount of storage space. Then we interviewed Bath Planet because they would give us the shower system that we wanted. Their rep answered all of my questions and I was satisfied with his answers. So I got exactly what we wanted.

    I allotted Bath Planet a day and a half to do the installation and they got done in plenty of time. Then I had my work schedule out and I had carpenters and the cabinet installers all lined up. The fellow from Bath Planet that was putting the frost on the window didn't get it exactly the way we wanted it. He was in, frosted the window, and he was out.     The bathroom was old. It was the original product and it needed to be replaced. We contacted Bath Planet a year earlier and we liked their consistency without being bothersome. Every once in a while, they would call and check in because they knew that we weren’t quite ready at that time. We hadn’t looked around that much but we liked what we saw enough to be confident in the price that it would be worth it.

    The PowerPoint that the Bath Planet sales team used was a little dated but other than that, everything was fantastic. The sales rep was good. He knew what he was talking about. We got the largest option for the soaker tub and it was the gray, full marble siding. It’s excellent. The installation went very well and the guys were super courteous. They were done quickly. They scheduled the possibility of a two-day project, but they were done the same day. There was some cracking in some of the caulking the next day, so we called the office. They came out the same day to fix it and it's been great.

    I was mostly interested in someone that could do a one-day job. We only have one bathroom and I have a disabled mom and we should have the shower. We got a 3-inch threshold shower from Bath Planet. The installers were very careful in preventing any dust from coming into the house. They had face masks. They put paper on the floor to protect the floor and they closed the door while they were working in the bathroom. Unless I ask them a question, they would answer but they just focused on their job. I'm mostly satisfied. It was just when they put one of the side panels, it looked crooked on the wall. They came out and said it had to do with the structural frame of my house because it's pretty old. I don't know if that’s so because I didn't have that problem with my previous bathtub, but they said they couldn't do anything about it, so I just let it go.

    Bought my own tub and had it installed by Bath Planet. Every picture of every company that sold this tub pictured it with a side coming straight down from the edge of the tub. Bath Planet added extra inches onto the side of the tub which made it impossible to get in or out. Ken **, the owner, said he didn't know why they had done that and then would not take my calls. I showered at the gym but in March when the gym closed had to have another company install a tub. Gave Bath Planet $20K last fall then had to spend another $20K in March to have another company give me a tub where I could shower.

    I needed to upgrade a bathroom in the worst of all ways. This was a 1986 bathroom. The guy from Bath Planet came out, did an estimate and got back with me. When they came out, there were two other fellas. They gave me an estimate that I shut down. I told them we were not doing that. That was way too much money which I didn't have. So they worked a deal and we made it one bathroom instead of two bathrooms. They were able to take care of that at a very reasonable price. It was like 18 months, same as cash, loan at a very high interest rate. But I didn’t pay any interest because I’ve already paid off the loan several months ago.

    The guy and his wife, and this other gentleman, did an excellent job in that bathroom. They got the new shower in. They did put together vanities and got my bathroom all together. We’ve been very pleased since then. We had some follow up visits for a few little bitty things. The only hitch was one day I thought the guy would never show up and come to find out he just didn't know well enough to get around the traffic the right way.     The price from Bath Planet was very good as opposed to others. They also said that they would be able to take care of everything. I spoke to another company, and they were saying that if we had water damage or if there was anything that they would have to do pre-install, they might not be able to do it. But Bath Planet said over the phone that they could usually handle a lot. Plus they said that they could get it done in about two days or just under, which was exactly how it happened. We also spoke to a third company and they came out to our house. They did a whole estimation and it was way too expensive. When I mentioned this to Bath Planet, they said that they knew exactly about them. They'd do okay work but they'd be very expensive and there were a lot of people who came to them who had also seen them. So after hearing that, I knew that Bath Planet was gonna be a perfect fit.

    The Bath Planet rep, Chris, was able to give us really good recommendations. The samples were absolutely pretty and I absolutely loved the professionalism. He was also able to stop by during the project to see if everything was going okay. I was just happy that they could come out because this was right before Coronavirus decided to wreak all havoc everywhere. The installers were very professional and I absolutely loved everything. I was so excited.

    When the bathroom was first coming together, I was curious if it was gonna go all the way to the ceiling, and then when I thought maybe it wouldn't, but it all came together so great and the quality was absolutely lovely. I remember when the walls were going up and seeing how pretty it was. It reminded me of some fancy marble building that you would see in New York City. I love how low maintenance it is. All you really need is that vinegar-water mixture if you really need to clean it but it doesn't need much more than that, which is just perfect. Also, I dyed my hair, and it just slid right down the drain and didn't stain. Everything was perfect.

    I had a very good experience with Bath Planet. The price was exactly what we were looking to pay. I loved that we were able to pay a large chunk of it you right off the bat. I would totally recommend friends if anybody needed a little quick bathroom. It looks incredibly fancy but it's not that expensive. It's just simple, clean, and ready to use after three days ‘cause you have to let it sit and settle.

    I picked Bath Planet because it seemed that it was the right company and I liked the designs that they had. It was a great experience except it wasn't like the thing that they promised me. I suffer with rheumatoid arthritis and I need somewhere to sit down. In the contract, it was supposed to have a built-in stool in the corner. I asked the people that installed it what happened to the bench and the guy said there was no bench that was supposed to be in it. I told him that he better contact the salesman. He came over and he discussed the thing. They went and got a little wooden bench, which is okay. Other than that, the installers were very neat and they cleaned up everything.     I needed to have my bathroom done. I planned on doing it myself but I was busy. My daughter told me about Bath Planet and they showed up at the right time. They were coming into our area and running some kind of promotion. The sales rep was personable. They came and whenever we decided that I was gonna do it, they pulled out all of the colors with the background. I was able to lay them side by side, take pictures and say which were the ones that went together.

    We went to the showroom of Bath Planet and the salesperson that we saw was detailed. For the installation, two guys came in and worked fast. They were done in two days. They completed before the projected day, so that was good. Plus, they were clean and they weren’t in the way at all. We had to make a lot of adjustments because we bought some of the parts as far as the vanity and some of the flooring, so they were able to be flexible at adjusting everything. The quality is great. The one that they did is a shared bathroom but the clean-up is easier because it’s not porous and we just use vinegar and soap. Everything comes off easily.     Bath Planet's customer service was good. Their salesman came by first and evaluated the setting, and then he gave us an estimate. Only thing we were concerned about is he failed to notify us that we could get a pan that matched the rest of the shower. Initially, it was just going to be a solid white pan, but I found out later through the Bath Planet website that we could get a matching pan for an additional fee. So, I called the company who was doing the installation and worked out a deal with them where we could get the matching pan. But I was sorry that the salesman failed to mention that to us at the time. But as far as the installation, it all was fine. They did a good job. We also had one of the doors on the shower that would open on its own a couple of inches while you are taking a shower due to maybe not being level. They sent their guys back and got it rectified. It still wants to open about a quarter of an inch now, but we are okay.

    Everything went very smoothly, but the total cost was outrageous. This walk-in tub comes with a lot of bells and whistles, but I really just wanted a nice soaker tub. Wasn't able to get anything cheaper, so I caved. Installation took only 2.5 days and went smoothly. Their customer service was exceptional at every level. I've had it now for about 6 wks.     I've had a wonderful experience with Bath Planet. We were at a craft's fair and some place gave me a brochure. So I called them for a bid and did a search and found two other places to call for bids. And the fellow from Bath Planet was a really friendly and nice guy. He gave us a super bid and beat out everybody else. And then their installer was fantastic. He did a super job. And I'd recommend them to anybody. It was before Corona virus so it wasn't a problem having a person in and out. He did the job in two days, left everything clean, explained what he was doing and when he would do what and everything. We're very pleased.

    Always get multiple bids and always check everybody out on Better Business Bureau. The ones that I had gotten the bids all had A plus ratings on Better Business Bureau.     Before Corona hit we had our last home and garden show in Portland, Oregon. The local franchise holder of Bath Planet has a great salesperson, Craig. He was knowledgeable and was able to explain the product much better than the other company that we had out to get a separate bid. I appreciate what he did. The product is also better. We replaced the fiberglass shower tub, 1994 model and then the other one was a walk-in shower, same model but without the bathtub.

    The installation went fast. I was very pleased with the guys that came. They were very clean and very respectful. The only problem we had was that there was a couple of younger guys who were doing OJT with the more experienced installer, and they should have gotten the walls a little bit straighter. I talked to the franchise owner and got some compensation for that. To make the backing board straighter they should have shimmed it a little bit in this one shower and that didn’t happen. They got rushed or something. But otherwise, it still looks good. It’s gonna be backed by the whole warranty. Overall, we’re still pleased. The quality of the work that was done was good.

    I love the product. You can pick many different kinds of styles. I just went with plain white with the etching. It was put in there to make it look more like a tile. I like low-maintenance, and this stuff is a budget shower and I love it. As worst as tiles is, there's a lot of upkeep with grout and stuff, and it doesn’t look cheap. It’s kinda like a lemon car. Sometimes you have something happened. So, I was overall very pleased because they corrected whatever needed to be corrected, and that’s what’s important. They didn’t lie about it or anything. So I was very happy, and we trust and have them do it again.

    I got the subway tile acrylic shower stall from Bath Planet. I had issues with their salesman. They came in with just the regular. And when I called him, he was pretty nasty. And then, when I called the company replaced it for free-of-charge to make me happy. I didn't know that the company was just going to redo it, free-of-charge and I waited for four days because I was pretty upset. And then, when I called them, they were ordering the material. And then, came in, and I love it. There's no grout. It's easy to clean. I like that the spray arm is on the magnet. They put in a grab bar for me. They put in a couple of shelves that are never coming out. They also put in a step so I can shave my legs without leaning all the way down. They also put in the extension rod for the shower curtain. It was done in two days but it would have been done in a day if the right material was brought. They did everything. The floor is a waterproof vinyl plank, and they didn't charge me to take out the toilet. They were wonderful.

    I had my master bathroom remodeled with Bath Planet in Temecula California. I had tub taken out to put in a double shower. It looks very nice except the side where the door is it's very high and when you take a shower the water runs all over floor, not acceptable after all the money I paid. When I call they don't hardly answer and nobody call you back. When someone finally came out the problem wasn't fixed so I've been calling again. It's been couple of weeks now still can't take shower... It seems like they don't like to help after you pay all your money, not good customer service.

    Also, my shower handles stick out far. They were not installed correctly. When I mentioned it to them, they said that's the way they are. I wish I could put a picture of it, never seen this before... I wish I would have read this particular Bath Planet reviews first, I would have went with someone else. You should not have to feel like you are bothering a company when you call to get something fixed. It's suppose to be about customer service...

    We had a contractor from Bath Planet work at a different house and we liked the result of the previous shower installation. We went with the same contractor again and had similar results this time around. It was difficult because of the virus situation. We initially had a cancellation and we had to wait a little while until it got rescheduled again. But it worked out pretty well with the salesperson that came over to show us samples, give us estimates, and take measurements. It was a positive to be able to go to a showroom to be able to see model showers that were there and what it might look like.

    The installation was good and the only thing that could be improved, which is kinda hard to do because we kept the installers in an enclosed area, is that they really should have been wearing masks and gloves the entire time. Otherwise, the workmanship was good. There could be some slight improvements in a couple of spots but by and large, the product and what we got were adequate. It was satisfactory. And the installers were very personable and punctual. They got it done when they said they were gonna get stuff done and they were all very polite. They seemed very knowledgeable as to what they were doing.

    The shower was all chipped up and needed to be replaced. The first time they came out was to do the measurements. We wanted the shower to open a certain direction and we wanted specific things. A couple of weeks later they came out to install the new shower unit. But they failed to put caulking in certain areas. I had to call them back to come back out, and the guy told me that I was not looking at the right area. I told him that I know a little bit about construction, so he shouldn't tell me what I was seeing. So they come back out and there was caulking missing exactly where I said. It was on the bottom of the floor where we could not use the shower because the water goes underneath and it gets into the subfloor. This was the third time they came out.

    They didn’t tell us the first day that you had to wait two to three weeks for your shower door. But you can go ahead and use the shower, but you had to go buy more stuff like a shower curtain and rods before using it. They didn't tell these upfront. When the door came in, it was the wrong door. I was at work and the wife was home. I happened to get home right when the guy got ready to leave. He said that the shower was all done. I walked back in the bathroom and the door came unglued. The shower door was going the opposite direction that we wanted. They had to reorder another door. They reordered another door, they put it in, and the guy goes, “Well, what do you think?” I said it looked pretty nice. As I was rubbing my hand on the inside of the door, they didn’t take the old frame back out, they just forced a new door into the old frame and busted off some screws.

    I didn’t know the screws were busted but when I ran my hand across the frame, I cut myself. I told them that they needed to fix these screws. The guy said that he didn't have much time to take the frame all the way back out and start over. But I told him that he needed to make these screws where I do not cut myself because I’ll be highly PO’d if my wife is cleaning this and cuts her hand. We had three broken screws that hold whole shower door into our shower. I’ve seen better products in travel trailers than this product I had right now. There are certain spots in the shower unit, you can walk around and you feel soft spots and you feel the floor actually moving. It looks like you can go through the floor.

    When they installed the shower, we specified that we wanted all copper pipe to match the rest of the house. Instead, they put in plastic pipe. I made him take it back out and put copper pipe back in. The installer was kinda hostile saying, “This is how we do it.” I told him it was not what I requested. He then said that it was our paperwork. He read through the paperwork and it said copper pipes. So they had to take everything back out and put copper pipe in. I would not recommend Bath Planet to my worst enemy. I’d prefer to take it all back out myself and start over.

    Our house was 22 years old and had a fiberglass shower. It wouldn’t get cleaned. It had the seats that came into the footprints so that the shower was tight. We wanted to do a remodel when we moved in six years ago but decided to put that on hold until now. We had a salesman from Bath Planet and he was very nice. He was very understanding and wasn’t really pushy. But it turned out that he didn’t seem to really know all the ins and outs of ordering the parts. When it came to doing the installation, what we thought we were getting was not what they brought. There was a little communication discord between us and the salesman. But they worked with us and we got what we thought we were getting.

    The installers explained what they thought they were gonna do. They thought they were putting in a window but it wasn’t the case. It was just a shelf we wanted. Once we talked about it, that was fine. They told us we were having the fiberglass shelves and we said we wanted the stainless steel shelves. They called their office and got the okay from the boss. At the time, we wanted the acrylic to go all the way to the ceiling then across the top, but they did not bring the supplies. That put a delay on it for about a day. But the owner came out and talked to us and to the installers. They were able to resolve and get the parts so that we were done in three days instead of one or two days. It worked out. The installers removed the old shower and replaced the plumbing that was there in the inside of the shower. They also put the coating on it so that it won’t leak, hopefully, then they installed a new acrylic shower and glass door.

    When going into this kind of process, be sure you communicate and ask questions. Make sure you clarify that you understand what you’re getting with the salesperson. But that was just that one and I understand that person is not with the company anymore. Overall, we like Bath Planet's product the best when we looked at different bathrooms. We love our bathroom. It’s very nice and it’s been enjoyable.

    It was time to take a remodel on because what we had was a contractor’s grade, and that was garbage. I just needed a new one. I wanted something that was substantial and I wanted a glass door that didn’t stain and that didn't have all the watermarks every single time you take a shower. I wanted something with easy maintenance.

    The installation with Bath Planet went beautifully. It took like a day and a half. It didn’t take as long as I had anticipated because they didn’t have to remove the drywall. The installer was very professional and very friendly, answered all of my questions as he went along and he pointed out things as he went along, what he was doing and why he was doing it. It was very good.

    The only thing I was a little bit disappointed with was that when I spoke with the salesman, I told him I wanted a non-slip floor. I also told him I don’t wanna put bath mats in there because they are full of germs and yucky, and I don’t want to get on them. I don't wanna clean them. He said it is gonna be rough, but it isn’t. It is slippery as hell, so I do have to use a bath mat. They put in the product that they said they were gonna put in, but it is not a non-slip floor. Still, overall, they did everything they said they were gonna do, when they were gonna do it and how they were gonna do it.

    They showed up during the coronavirus after cancelling and rescheduling, then promising us they would use masks, etc. The guy who showed up didn’t even know anything about it. It took them longer than they said. To make a long story short, the bathroom wasn’t completed. The floor is warped, the inside shower walls were left undone. The toilet is brand new but it runs. Now this morning we found a leak from the shower into the bedroom closet next door, now mold is growing! We have tried to get them out here but all they say is to take pictures and send them. Pictures aren’t going to even show what our complaint is. They never stopped to see if everything was done right. We have not seen or heard from anyone! We paid over 14,000 just for the shower. It was so unprofessional in all ways! Please do not and I repeat do not hire these guys!

    The guy who came in to do the consultation for Bath Planet did an awesome presentation. The product was pricey but it was well worth the price. I did my purchase a few months ago and got some work done in the bathrooms. I did the wet part. For my front bathroom, it was the walk-in shower with the doors. And for the other bathroom, it was the tub and the walls. I did that for the front bathroom too.

    We got the regular ones and they were nice. The final product was good. The only thing I had a problem with that I saw afterwards was the tub that they put in the second bathroom had a few little scratches. And a wall had like a little watchacallem. But I didn’t really worry about it because the bathrooms we had were really old. The problem wasn’t really anything to call about. Otherwise, I like everything about my bathrooms.

    I live below Kingman, Arizona, in a place called Golden Valley, and aside from Bath Planet, all the other options couldn’t support us here. I wanted an entire bathroom completed. It had Moose mirrors and when I moved in, there was a little bit of damage to the drywall. I explained the whole thing to the rep. He said, “I really can’t do that.” I asked if they could paint it. He said that people get mad about them painting. All I ended up with was my bathtub and the fixture around the bathtub, which was put in pretty well. But they were were not interested. The job was always kinda pushed aside. I would not go to Bath Planet again because I couldn’t get everything I needed. If you wanted them for one specific thing, like getting the tub or toilet removed, that’s what they’re okay at. The bad part is that I’m 100% disabled and I was really looking forward to somebody doing the remodel. I was disappointed with it since.

    We were in the middle of a remodel and were specifically looking for what we were gonna do with our bathroom. We went to a home show, saw the Bath Planet display and talked to the gal there. The display was very beautiful. The gal did a good job explaining that it had the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, and that they used the local people to build it. So, we asked them out, and we were off and running.

    It took forever for the people to come out. They told us upfront it was gonna be a couple of months, and it was. But when they came out, they were fabulous. The guys were very respectful, pleasant and helpful. They found some issues with the subfloor and replaced anything that was bad before they even started working. They did it in a day. We were super pleased and still are. The product is definitely worth it. It’s a great walk-in shower. We love it and we haven’t had one problem with it.     Bath Planet had a display set up over at Kensington Park. We were walking in the park and I stopped to talk to the guys because I had been looking to refinish a shower. The sales rep came out, showed us the products, and we talked about what we could do. He was very knowledgeable. He knew his job and was very good.

    I got the shower round, the shower base, and the flooring for the bath. It's a very difficult shower arrangement with a lot of curves and bends. Plus, there's a window in it as well as the shower doors. We purchased shower doors too. In the corner, there's a soap dish thing that hangs from the top to the bottom and there's a space you where girls can put their foot up to shave their legs if they wanted. I attribute the success of it to Lollia, one of Bath Planet's employees. He did a marvelous job. It was a very detailed installation. He was very detailed. He worked from dawn to dusk and was so worried about, "Will this bend make it? Will that bend make it?" Because it was a very difficult thing. I think very highly of that man.

    I picked a different company before but the person on the phone was a little too aggressive, so I went with Bath Planet because they were better on the phone. The sales rep came in the house, explained what he had, and answered all my questions. He told me what was gonna happen and that was what happened, so everything he told me was the truth. They installed the shower and the guys were good but they were in a big rush because it was on a Friday. They left some of their tools here so I had to call back the main office for them to come and pick up the tools.

    After they left, I turned the shower on and the shower head was leaking because they didn't put Teflon tape on it so I had my toolbox out, take it apart and put some Teflon tape on it. I fixed it all up. I also had to go and clean up a lot of dust around there. They had their trailer in my cement driveway and when I came on back out there, there were screws left on the driveway and I had to pick them up so I won’t get flat tires. They were pretty lacking in that aspect. I'm satisfied with the product but I wouldn't recommend them to a friend.

    We had Bath Planet do a really nice job on our other house that our son lived in five years ago and they did good work there. Recently, we hired them again for a remodel and we were trying to keep it as cheap and as basic as can be. But the salesperson that came to our door that they sent out fibbed on the order form and totally screwed up the whole order. Then, we found out that he no longer works for them. When the order got here, we dealt with different people and they didn't know what we originally ordered. We were just gonna do a shower curtain and we weren’t gonna have a glass surround. But when the whole kit came here, the curtain rod that was ordered for us did not come with it. But they didn't charge us anymore because it had already been calculated out.

    Despite that, the installers that we had were fabulous and very good. I run a home daycare and initially, they wanted to do the installation on Wednesday. But I’m not gonna miss two or three days of daycare kids and the remodel was for the bathroom that we use for them. I also didn't want having strangers coming in and out. The salesman promised us that it could be done on a Saturday, which they don’t usually do unless they're finishing up a job. So, we talked to Bath Planet to do the installation on Friday and we decided not to have daycare that day. Then they had to finish up the work on Saturday and the glass person had to come back the next week.

    Bath Planet did the follow-up and tied up loose ends on Saturday. But the salesman told us that the installation was gonna be a day and a half and it took four days by the time the glass person came out, measured, and came back when the glass was cut. So, it took a little bit longer than I had planned. I thought it was a pretty simple thing, but the rep said it was because I had dry rot and it takes longer to do the sheetrock to fix it. So, if the salesman would've told us that, then we would have done a different avenue. But the installers tried to kiss up to us and make everything right. They said that that would cost us an extra $500 but we didn’t have to pay for it.

    It's really a pleasure to work with people who take care of you and follow through, and Bath Planet's customer service was fantastic. They have good reviews and they were very forthcoming about that, whereas the other companies we talked to were not. So that’s the key too. Bath Planet was the third company that I had come in and speak to me over a period of two years and what stood out to me is that they have their own employees. They don’t use subcontractors and the accountability to the company is much stronger than the other two companies.

    There was one contractor and he had an assistant. This was during the pandemic and they were very cautious, careful and clean. That was a pretty big job too. Our home was 27 years old and we moved an old shower then put a new one in. They basically completed most of it on the first day. Then they had to come back because we did have some small disparities in the size of the doors but that kind of stuff happens. Plus they fixed that immediately. They brought the doors out as soon as the new door came in and got it together. They did a nice job. The contractor was great and very efficient. He knew what he was doing.

    I also get how easy it is to overlook a detail, especially when you’re working with a salesperson. So I would caution people that when they do a project, regardless of what it is, to make sure that they have covered every aspect of what it is you want and need included in that. It may sound simple but as people age, they need more things like grab bars, benches and seats. And height is important. All those things are important. Customers should make sure what it is they asked for is documented. Really, it’s on the customer a lot of times to make clear. Contractors could come in and install something that is on a sheet of paper, and if the customer missed something or didn’t make what you want clear, then sometimes the customer becomes frustrated with what was their own problem. So get more detailed in your documentation upfront on the small thing that you want so that there is no question when the installation happens.

    My boss’s son owns has a Bath Planet and I've seen their product in his home, so I thought that I would try them. I had them do three bathroom remodels and they did a great job. All three of the bathrooms turned out great. They're beautiful. For the first bathroom, they removed the tub and then put in a walk-in shower. The second bathroom was a major overhaul because they removed the shower and a jacuzzi tub and put in a shower and a smaller jetted tub and built a nice little storage area because the tubs were not the same size. The third one was downstairs. They removed a store-bought shower and built in a shower. They did the floor in all three of them.

    Bath Planet seemed very family-friendly. When I first spoke to the manager there, he seemed really nice. So, we just figured they would be a good fit. When the installers were inside the house, they were so respectful and so funny. I love those guys. I told them I’m a forever customer. I’m not just saying this to get them highlighted or whatever for a good job, but they were very respectful of my home.

    We ran into a little issue where, because I live in an association, when they dug up the entire bathroom, the truss on the foundation was completely rotted out. And legally, they couldn’t have done anything or gone any further, so I had to get my association involved and my insurance. And they even stayed to help me explain everything to my insurance. And I love the fact that, so far, we have had, just like in the grout, which is expected from any bathroom, a bit of mold, but they told us how to treat it and everything.     Bath Planet did a marvelous job. The guy that came out that discussed the contract was open and above board. Everything came out like he said it would. And then, the guys that came and did the job were excellent. They were here, they worked hard, and they did a great job. One of the handles for the shower door was missing.     The sales guy was really good. He answered our questions when we came up with them and we did a little follow-up with them after our initial discussion. They redid our master bathroom shower. They took the old one out and put the new one in. The installation took about a day, which was what they had said it would take. They had to come back a couple times and tweak a few things to get the door’s torque right. One of the guys forgot to set the hot/cold water switch correctly, so we only got like tepid water when we first had the shower turned on. But they came back and they tweaked it and fixed it, and everything’s fine now. The installation guys were great. They were polite. They cleaned up after themselves, so when they left, there wasn’t a mess that I had to deal with. They even cleaned the spot in the carpet where they got some mud on it, so I really appreciated that.

    Bath Planet was the best and when I hired them for a remodel, their salesperson seemed to be a little scattered. He was having trouble putting the material together, but we already knew what we wanted. And they carried the material I needed, so it was kind of a sell itself. I had two showers reinstalled then I had one shower in the master bedroom moved from one side of the bathroom to the other where I really wanted it in the first place. The construction guy did that did a great job and got it done in less than a day.

    I needed to replace the bathtub so I was looking online and came upon Bath Planet. I had them come and take a look then I decided to go with them. The sales rep was really good. I liked him. I’ve done two purchases now, on my bathrooms. The first one was three years ago and then I had one done recently – the shower. It was an oversized tub. This was an oversized shower and I wanted glass, solid white, no tile. I wanted something easy to clean.

    The installers were mostly here when I was working and they were busy but there was a little bit of talk. They seemed to do a very good job. I was happy with the final product. I like the wall because it’s nice, smooth and white. This has a much cleaner and much nicer look. With tiles, you can't keep the grouts clean. So this is much easier to clean. The glass doors look good too. Afterwards, I also had a guy come and take a look. I showed him the quote from Bath Planet and I thought he would think that that was too expensive but he told me it was a really good price with what had to be done. I was surprised with that because he also did baths. So I'm glad I went with Bath Planet.

    We set up an appointment with Bath Planet and the guy came and gave a sales pitch. We had a very good conversation and we went for it We got a tub to shower conversion. We made our first payment in December and the install happened in early February. Then our final payment was after the work was done. I wasn't home during the installation, but my wife was. It was a two-day installation and there were no complaints from my wife. The quality of work was very good. It's a kid's bathroom so the kids love it. You do not have to step on the tub. It's gonna be easy to clean and there's no grout so you don't get that moldy grout look.

    Part of the reason we went with Bath Planet was their availability to come for an estimate. Also, I thought that the salesman explained how their product worked really well. It sounded like it would be a good product. He knew his product really well and was able to help us some with our selection, which was useful. I had the walk-in shower installed. We tore out a bathtub and put in a large shower area. They also fixed a little plumbing problem we had. The impetus was, “Do I tear off this wall myself and hire a plumber to come in, or just get a whole new shower and the contractor would fix it as they go?” The installation took a day and a half. And to me, it looked really good. We’re extremely pleased to have a shower.

    Mom hired Bath Planet back in July, 2019. Sold on having a fold-up seat in shower (along with new shower stall but the chair was the cherry on top). Three and 1/2 months later - no chair - total bait and switch. The first time they came to install, they found they had the wrong material; they tried to store other material in my garage. When I mentioned that I was going to charge rent they came on a Saturday and moved it out. What was finally installed was not up to what was paid for. There is a 1"-2" gap where the shower door slides open. The caulk is all over the wall - smeared with fingers and not wiped clean. Wall next to shower was scratched and then filled with caulk. Ceiling light has gaps around where they cut to slide light in. Black marker on ceiling where they marked up to put light in.

    Seven months later - my mother is dead and never was able to enjoy her new shower. I've called to have Bath Planet come back out - which they will schedule only to have the person call and say they cannot make it. People in the office are very sympathetic but other than giving good year - I'm stuck with a shower that cannot be used. There is still money owed on this so I would think they would call to rectify but they haven't. Bottom line, stay away.

    With Bath Planet, there are a lot of things to choose from. They work well with you and the job is done in a timely manner. December of last year, we purchased a shower from them. By talking to their representative and looking at the quality of the work, we knew they were the right company for us. The rep was not pushy at all. It was very enjoyable working with them. They had great communication, even with the staff behind them. I wasn’t here that much and they kinda just did their own thing, but they always cleaned up before they left if they had to come back the next day.     I was looking for something that would be easy to clean and my husband was looking for something that looks sort of Italian-ish because that was the way he wanted to do the bathroom. Bath Planet supplied both. The rep was very thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with, which was a plus. The installation crew was very professional and worked well. They had to build a support wall for the shower. Our house is older and it's not perfectly straight everywhere and so, there was a little gap at the top between the wall of the bathroom and the new shower wall. My husband is kind of a perfectionist about home improvement and he thought that they should have filled in the gap. But I'm not sure that that was their job. Besides, it was not hard for us to do. I'm really happy with the experience and I'm happy to recommend Bath Planet.

That time, I was scared of having something put in that was gonna look cheap. Mine doesn't look cheap. It has a seat in it and it has bars that you hold on to in the corner.
