Bath Planet installation

The process starts with sharing your remodeling goals with a Bath Planet customer service representative before scheduling a free in-home consultation. During this meeting, a design consultant assesses what options match your goals and suit your bathroom.

Once you choose the right options for your bathroom, the design team goes to work. They take detailed measurements and photos and hand your design to the operations team. This team reviews the work and places the order. Once your order arrives, they do a quality check and contact you to schedule installation.

On installation day, your technician will review each step with you. During installation, they take every precaution to keep your home clean and protected. When the work is complete, the technician does another walkthrough with you to make sure you’re satisfied. Depending on the scope of the project, installation can be completed in as little as a day.

The sales rep that called me was the most foul mouthed and rude sales rep ever. He cursed me out after calling me to tell me I wasted his time. I didn't even sign up their contacts, a former disgruntled employee of mine did it, but their sales rep felt it was acceptable to curse at me over it. These people are not only rude, but obviously very stupid and willing to talk down to what they perceived as potential customers. Don't walk the other way, run from anything to do with them.

I met with Roman as scheduled on Friday at 10am. We spent a couple of hours going through everything in detail to meet my new need to convert my present shower/tub arrangement to a walk in shower arrangement. I have a 99+ year old father that I need to move into my home to take full time care of at this time. I told Roman that this is not a cosmetic remodel, a safety one. He fully understood and gave me options every step of the way all the way up to the financing options.

I am waiting to hear from the company for verification and a scheduled install date. Once the project is complete I will write another review of how things went. I really appreciated Roman's professionalism and the concern he exhibited to make me feel I was being quoted fairly and completely understood all the benefits of choosing Bath Planet dong the work in the demolition, remodel and cleanup as well as dealing with a vendor which proudly has the Good Housekeeping seal of approval. Thanks.

Highly recommend Bath Planet! Andre, the salesman, did an excellent job explaining the process and going over options with us. On install day, Ed did an exceptional job removing our small old shower and putting in a new one. The finished product looks fabulous. Ed worked fast, completed the bathroom in just 7 hours and cleaned up afterwards. He is very skilled and professional. We will use them again. Thank you!!

I purchased my walk-in tub about 4 years ago. It was working great. I felt I made a good purchase. In July, I started having issues with leaks. Since that time period, I have not been able to operate it as intended. The tech, Jordan, has done several unsuccessful attempts at fixing the problem. He has come out six separate times to no avail. So far, he has tightened the handle, then put caulk in the handle, replaced the door, came back out and tightened the handle, replaced the back plate of the handle. Then came back and put caulk in that. The last time he was here, a couple weeks ago, he tightened the handle again. It still leaks. I'm waiting to see when he's coming back again. The reason why I purchased the tub is to get relief, as I am an older, disabled person. It's hard to get through the day when you have no way of pain relief. When am I going to get relief?

I had a shower redone in July 2025. It cost 19000 dollars. It looks great, but I had the drain leak into my basement. They did fix it, but then the shower head broke and was spraying water over the glass door. I called and was told they have 24 to 72 hours to call you back. My husband is handicapped, and could not shower in anyother bathroom. So I had my handyman come and put the shower head from the powder room in the master bath. This was Monday, and today is Friday. I bought another shower head and put it on myself. They still have not called me back. Terrible customer service. So sad.

It has been 10 months since my shower install, and it has been nothing but a frustrating disaster getting the problems fixed--shower panels that bubbled out, sloppy drywall work, and a sliding door that still hangs crooked. In spite of many, many e-mails, the local installer has simply stopped responding to me at all. Some of the problems have been fixed, but not completely. The only real fix is to tear the whole thing out and start from the shower base all over.

Had them come in and do the tub to shower conversion. All looked good during the consultation process. Once they came to install, WELL. They first did not know what was going in and was ready to install more then what we asked for. Installation was quick but not good. 2 days later found that the shower was leaking. Called support got someone in, all they did was chalk even more and where they missed the first time. Was good for a few days same issue. Came out again, still not fixed. UGH. Plus, when they were installing the doors and shelves, they pulled the walls, so they are spongy now. Would not recommend these guys unless you watch over them like hawks. Now they have blocked my number from being able to call in and will not call back when I do get thru!

      Original Review: Nov. 9, 2025

We purchased the shower install in September 2025, through Bath Planet, Wildomar, California. The install was completed in October 2025. I must post that my husband is disabled and we are both senior citizens. On the first evening of using the shower, my husband and myself both noticed the floor was slippery when wet. During the initial design review with our consultant, Chris **, I questioned the shower pan material, if it would be slippery during shower. (The sample board he brought with him was only approx 8 inches square.) He was adamant that the flooring was non-slippery, and not to let the shiny appearance worry me. I contacted Chris ** after we noticed the slippery pan, and he referred me to the main office.

I contacted Bath Planet, Wildomar, and spoke with Courtney who indicated that was a surprise to her. I also indicated that I felt the slope of the pan was too severe and that was part of the problem. Courtney indicated that perhaps we would need to have a non-slip coating added to the shower pan. (Hmmm 🤔, that wasn't mentioned during the design consult.)

Courtney sent 2 separate install representatives who both indicated some clients do complain of slippery shower pans. They also indicated that eventually the non-slip coating would yellow, but the install was correct, and the slope of the pan was correct. (I don't feel that when you step into a shower your feet should slant toward the drain.) It was also suggested to use a shower mat, but this is not an option that appeals to me either. We are currently looking to Good Housekeeping to help with this issue, but don’t have much faith in that either.

Well, please hear me prospects. DO NOT TRUST THAT THIS COMPANY WILL REVEAL ALL THEIR SHADY FINANCIAL DEALINGS. We were quoted 2 prices. We had 3 days to make a decision. I called the next day and decided on the lower cost option which involved excluding a product. They adjusted the “work order” and sent it to me right away so it can be signed quickly. What they did not do was adjust the price. That’s how dishonorable companies get over on people. The financial chic tried to tell us that the young lady walked us through the change. I told her, “ no she didn’t, she said she needed the signed revision right away so they could get our materials ordered.” God forbid they do the honorable thing and adjust the price together with the “work order”. So, if you want to throw your trust their way, please, go over their contract with a fine tooth comb, even if you make Them wait. Don’t let them get over on you like they got over on us.

Yes, I can admit we signed quickly without checking. They pressured us to sign quickly to do whatever, but they could have done the honorable thing and adjusted the price as well. Now we’re stuck paying $2,000. more for product we did not receive. My best advice; find honorable Christian based companies that will not take advantage of the vulnerable, or the situation. Spreading the word will keep others from trusting disreputable companies like this one. Share to your social media and encourage others to share as well. Let make them live with this black eye for years to come.

The "lifetime" warranty states "BCI warrants that the surface of the Product will not materially fade, yellow, crack, bubble, or peel under normal use and when cared for under the guidelines set forth by BCI. Also, In the event of a failure of the Product, as a result of a material effect to the Product that is not caused by the Customer, BCI reserves the right to partially repair, completely replace, or provide a full or partial refund, whichever BCI deems appropriate in its sole discretion." I showed them proof of the crack and they pushed it on the original contractor they assigned and refuse to review or have someone come out. I understood it better so install set… Install went well except for doors not put on order or forgot to pick up. IDK and they don’t know.. so door installed 4 days later… When first installers left there was a foam piece left in driveway … It was the shower floor safety mat. The tile cut to put corner piece, cut very uneven … The doors have a gap when closed to one side but no gap when closed to other side… I read reviews before I used this company. All good on install? The only bad was salesmen. They must pick and choice reviews to post.

BATH PLANET of SW Virginia (Roanoke) is by far the most honest and efficient business that I have dealt with as a home owner of over 50 years. From the first day when the owner Travis, examined the 2 bathrooms we wanted to renovate, there was nothing less than 100% respectfulness for both the home and the owners/occupants. Both of the gentlemen who did the installation were beyond respectful, treating our home as if it was theirs. At the time of installation, both bathrooms were completed in a week. Even when the original bathrooms were disassembled, there was virtually no dust anywhere in the house from the demolition. The finished products were well beyond our expectations. On a scale of 1-10, I give BATH PLANET of SW Virginia (Roanoke) a PERFECT 15!!!

If only I could leave ZERO stars to rate my experience, because that is about as much positive things I have to say about the Bath Planet of Missouri (dba Reflections Bath and Spa) out of Springfield, Missouri. I cannot rate the product itself because I have yet to receive it. The customer service provided is absolutely ridiculous. No communication, continually being told things are back ordered, not enough installers, etc. We ordered back in October 2024 with an estimated install of mid-January 2025. No communication for months. Eventually confirmed an installation for May 2025. I took off of work to be present during the installation and they no showed and did not call. For three days I called and left messages, texts, and emails. No communication.

Several weeks later I received a text stating the installation would be “sometime in June”. June came and went and I still don’t have my shower installed. Multiple attempts were made to get an update. Someone finally answered the office phone in July and I was told I was on the installation list for July/August 2025. However, they could not tell me how many other people were on the list. I requested a call back from the owner and he has yet to call. I paid the 75% down as required, but I would like to get a refund because I honestly do not want anyone from the company in my house. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General of Missouri, and am in the process of getting a lawyer. If you haven’t already paid this company do yourself a huge favor and run the other way.

I had a shower installed in May 2024. I was impressed with the product and the warranty is what I based my purchase on. "Lifetime Warranty " and transferable one time. HOWEVER unfortunately one month later I noticed black mold spots appearing at the shower base and the side walls caulk area. I called and didn't receive a call back for over a week. In the meantime, I contacted the installer, and they came and replaced the caulk for me. It happened once again for the second time and once again the installer came and redid the caulk. Months now later small spots are appearing once again. THREE TIMES in less than a year's time! FYI I use only the recommended cleaning products, and I squeegee the walls after every use.

I called Bath Planet, and I was told that they would talk to the installer and get back with me. I asked for another tube of caulk. My installer picked it up for me and dropped it off with an expired date on the tube of 1-3-2024!! Older than my install date!!!! No further call back from Bath Planet. Very displeased with the customer service that I received. They DON'T WANT TO SEND THE INSTALLER AND PAY THEM TO REDO THE CAULK! They want their money from you yet FAIL to provide you with a timely response when you call them for help or products that stand up to their "Lifetime Warranty". Buyer Be Ware!! The cove piece that the shower head come out of pops right out. The Hot / Cold lever has gaps, the screws stick from the wall. And the puddles in the basement come from all that. The only thing the techs will look at is the pipes. If the pipes they touched don't leak they don't fix it. They made all the holes the in the wall! When you point out a gap to the technicians, they send the techs to tell you there's no room for moisture but tell that to the puddles I get after every shower. What kind of "professionals" are they hiring when they don't even know how water finds a way into every open space.

I do not recommend Bath Planet. The cost is exorbitant for a product made with poor quality materials and shoddy installation. There is too much give in the flimsy walls and pan. After only a month, I had to have someone come in and recaulk. It took a LOT of caulk for the big gaps. Yes, there was mold. Then, two years later, yet another issue. We noticed a squishing sound in the hall, then water started coming up between the floorboards. It took a plumber two trips (and a week of using no water in that end of the house - no dishwasher, kitchen sink, laundry, or bathroom) so the floors could dry and he could find the source of the water. Turns out, the shower drain was not properly installed, or perhaps it had worked itself loose with the flimsy bendable pan. Water was draining between the concrete slab and our pvc laminate flooring. Yes, I am upset. I am so sorry I allowed Bath Planet anywhere near my house.
