Love this new company. Been with ADT for over 20 years for my office and all houses I own but I’m done with ADT. I’ll never used them moving forward. On a personal note, their contracted technicians show up when I’m not home to say they’re working on my system. They send different techs. Never the same one. I’ve had at least 5-7 different ones plus some cheap cameras and multi - systems I don’t need. It’s a mess. Just bills. They take advantage of who doesn’t know anything to upsell. This is why I have moved over to VIVINT and I’m very pleased. I will have all my other homes and offices moved over as well and highly recommend using VIVINT. Great tech. Great service.

The service technician Amair (I hope I spelled correctly) was very professional and friendly. He was prompt and got right to work. He explained every step in detail and very patient. It was a very pleasant experience. Thanks Angie **.

Great company to deal with. Service has been great and equipment is very easy to use. Love how I can control everything from my phone or the panel in the house. The cameras are a great add on. Would recommend to family and friends.

The tech was not very friendly but came and did the job...There was some residue from the hole drilling left on the floor but the system works great???? I’m satisfied with the outcome on my new home. It was much needed.

John was amazing. He was so professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and fast! He had our business set up so fast and we could not be more grateful. We feel much more secure now with our new system and we didn't have to sign a contract! It was lower in cost than Simplisafe and it was professionally installed.

Sales person showed up on porch. We chatted abt system. Liked the idea of the system...cost. People came in, started installing. Worst experience ever. TODAY CALLED NEWS PEOPLE TO TALK TO THEM. GET THE WORD OUT TO PEOPLE WHO MIGHT ALSO GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.

Everyone was professional and courtesy. All questions were answered straightforward and when challenged reasons were provided that made sense without any attempts to divert to a side issue. Good sales team; no pressure to buy. Explained the products well, made logical recommendations.

I had Vivint install a new alarm system for me, they were wonderful to work with, answered all my questions even when I asked the same thing over and over. They did extra for me and went out of their way to help. I would recommend them if you are looking for a good company.

Very fast and easy. No need to explain more than once and most of it on text. They were on time and helped me understand everything. I feel more safe and secure and I can even access on my phone when I’m away.

They were very well explaining everything they installed and always asking if it was okay. And they always asked if we had any doubts and they clarified our questions very well. They were very friendly and kept the area where they worked very clean.

I’m not tech savvy but Andrew explained the FUNCTIONS of the security system in layman terms that made it super to use. He broke it down to how folks live... Now I can incorporate using the system as readily as grabbing my keys when running to the store.

I switched to Vivint from ADT. The sales man promised to help with the cash out from ADT and I never heard back from him, if you go please have it on paper or recording. After the salesman the technician was unsure of what to install so we had to call the salesman. He left at 2 AM with a lot unfinished then did not show up the next day.. Then was here late again!!!! We still don’t know how to operate the system. They only gave us one sign and no window stickers.. more than a month after I find out I needed a DVR for 24/7 recording. The salesman told me we could all see it through the app due to it being a smart device. It has been nothing but lies and a mess!

Very satisfied so far, although it’s only been one day since my cameras were installed. I am really going to enjoy being able to check on my house from anywhere and the fact that I can speak through the cameras!

Everyone involved did a great job, and had excellent customer service skills. It was very informative, and and friendly. The sales rep answered all of my questions perfectly if not better. The technician made the install process very smooth, and seamless.

Was very professional. Was finished in a timely manner. Explained the system very thorough. Respected my home, removed shoes upon arrival and cleaned up everything that was left after finishing the job. Will recommend them to my family and friends.

I just had my system installed today. Mike, our technician was very patient and answered all of my questions! You can tell that this system is very high quality. Would recommend using Vivint. The system is easy to use and the app is very user friendly.

Great product, setup is super easy, installer was great. I will for sure recommend Vivint to friends and family. One very small con is that I have to use a different app for my garage door sensor. Happy to have a security system for my family with Vivint.

Customer service has been great since my first inquiry to the install. The technician did a great job with the installation. I’m in love with the camera quality. The system seems easy enough to use and it looks very sleek.

So I know I agreed to a late install. They didn't get done till about 1: 30am and I agreed with that. That part was fine but the mess that they left behind if they would have at least cleaned up their mess instead of leaving it for me to clean up. I didn't find that to be very professional and the fact that they drill two holes in my wall because they made a mistake and didn't patch it I didn't find that to be professional as well.

Awesome Service! Technician was very polite, professional and informative. He explained everything in detail and was very efficient with the time it took to install. He went above and beyond to make sure that I understood everything and even tried helping me correct my phone number on my account.

Was very impressed with the installation and tremendously happy with deal we got! Jared was very helpful when teaching me and my partner on how to use our new system! Was a very easy process and makes us feel at ease. I would definitely recommend to friends and family this amazing system!

We haven’t had Vivint long but we are hopeful that it will prove its worth. If so, we may add additional cameras. We had been talking about getting better cameras so we were in the market at the time that the respectful and courteous employees had stopped by our house.

Amazing customer service, and Marion did an amazing job with install! The system is one cutting edge and allows me to check in on my mother remotely from anywhere in the world! 10/10 and my best recommendation for service and equipment!

Josh was the guy that came out and put my system in. He did a great job. He is very knowledgeable in what he is doing and a all around great guy. I would recommend using Vivint to everyone I meet and tell them to use Josh.

Great service! Sales person London answered all of my questions. Great price! Installation happened 30 minutes after sales person left. The installer was quick and showed me how to use the equipment. I am happy to have a home security system and will sleep easier.

Zero stars!!! I believe I was scammed and taken advantage of to purchase a system I did not want and did not need. I am a 69 year old widow living alone and had an Xfinity security system I was happy with. I told the young man who came to my door the evening of July 4th I did not need another system. I had been drinking a few glasses of Prosecco and he and his three friends somehow talked me into it. They had a crew who showed up a few minutes later to install it, putting holes in my wall and door. I tried to cancel it, but was told I could not and ended up paying $2245 as it sits unused. I feel like a fool and am trashing Vivint on social media every chance I get.

Leslie was outstanding and very helpful in getting us set up. We are excited about our new service and hopeful that everyone is as wonderful as Leslie. The installer was great and extremely patient in showing us how to use the devices.

The installation took longer than expected and characters in our password were not compatible with the keyboard the tech had. The tech was very respectful, courteous and efficient. The MyQ couldn't sync with the Vivint app and the garage remote system doesn't work correctly.

My experience was absolutely AMAZING. Rodney did my installation and he made the experience easy and fun and had me laughing from the moment we met. I love the equipment and 100% satisfied! I will be recommending Vivint to everyone! Thank you!

I would like to take the time to tell you what an asset you have in one of your employees. His name is Sean ** and he did my installation yesterday. Not only did he update everything, he checked each and every alarm, battery etc.. What I was most impressed by was his professionalism and knowledge of the product. He even went the extra mile and said to call or text him with any question we may have. I employ people myself and hands down would hire this guy on the spot. I am the first to let you know if I'm not happy and was pleasantly surprised how he made this such a non-event! Thanks for the great customer service!!

The installation took all day. The young man was very polite and on time. However, he did not have all the tools he needed to complete the job. A manager did come to the house to assist him. He seemed to want to do what was easy and not what was going to look the best. I would have liked to have someone come to the house first to discuss the install and show us the equipment to decide where to place everything then return with all the proper equipment and knowledge. We are pleased with the service and so far the app.

Everything from the initial sales consultation to the install was quite good. All parties involved, Billy in particular, did a phenomenal job. The system itself seems very intuitive and we are thus far exceedingly pleased with our investment. Well done everyone. I would recommend this service to anyone interest in home security for their home.

I felt my wife and I were treated with respect. His description of the home security was exactly what we were looking for. His knowledge and help giving us what we wanted sold us. The installers were knowledgeable and got right to work. We were included in the installation which made me feel good. They went over how to use Tha the app and wall monitor.

Jacob and Josh did a great job explaining all our options. Once we heard the price we couldn't resist. The equipment is ours with a lifetime warranty and they Vivint will reinstall it if we move. We highly recommend Vivint. You get more bang for your buck plus monitoring and an unhackable system.

Throughout the process no one was on time. First an untrained salesperson taking hours to go through the process kept saying 10 more minutes for installation. After 2 hours had to cancel and set up for next day. An hour late again. Still didn't finish. Postponed to monday.

The technician Jack was really great at explaining the system and helping me decide what was needed to fully secure my home. I was pleased with his guidance and his work in the home. He also cleaned up after himself.

Our technician was very good to work with and explained the process very clearly. It all went smoothly except that the alarm system doesn’t work properly and he left before we could test it. Now we will need another technician to come out to fix the problem.

Since installing the system the doorbell has not worked. I have called customer service twice o my to remain on hold for several minutes. I am not happy with the system at all. I would like to return the system. The monthly fee is too much to pay for something that doesn’t work properly. I have read other complaints with the same issue.

Good job of installation and able to answer our questions. The only problem was that pricing was not as agreed with the salesperson. The installer was able to reconcile the difference to our satisfaction. Would like to have a couple of lawn and window signs.

We had to do a little trouble-shooting, but overall, very satisfied with the system. The app is easy to use. This is my second house to use Vivint and had a good experience on that installation too. I liked my Nest system, but support went to crap after Google acquired them.

Start to finish the process was so easy. It’s very affordable but knowing my family is protected is priceless. Installer was polite, professional, and communicated well. I basically have a smart home now. The system is amazing. I couldn’t be happier.

All techs seemed very knowledgeable and courteous. They couldn’t pair the garage door with their sensor. But I really have no problem with that. They could have done a little better cleaning up the wood shavings. Excellent install. Thank you!

Your technician arrived earlier which was plus. He came in with his tools and equipment to install. We discussed quantity and location and he ask me if had any questions which I didn't and he went to work. Once all the the equipment was installed, he went thru some of the equipment functions and the panel and went through all of the the functions. It is quite a lot to learn, if I need to I know how to contact your technician. He was very knowledgeable and has a sense of humor.

Friendly tech, amazing customer service from the start of my call to completion. HIGHLY recommend them! I should have done this years ago!! I paid for my service upfront which I’m glad I did do! 3500 was worth it!! I will be sending my friends over now.

Extremely pleased with the service we received during our installation. Our technician was knowledgeable and went over all of our options thoroughly. He made the process smooth and painless. He was very friendly and completed everything in a reasonable timeframe without disrupting us. Thank you for the great work!

Installers didn't wear masks even after being told to do so on a speaker call to a supervisor. Installers left a mess of wood shavings and drywall dust, as well as plastic garbage wherever they worked. Installers left a hole in the exterior of the house where the old doorbell had been and mounted the new doorbell facing our next door neighbor rather than the front of the house. Other than a photo ID badge, Installers wore no uniform-type clothing (polo shirt, etc) representing your company and appeared very unprofessional. The appearance and demeanor of the Installers left me feeling that Vivint is a fly-by-night organization.

Our installer was fantastic. The company is not. Originally I was overcharged for several times. I spent 30 minutes in the middle of a busy workday to deal with it. Another call asking for an itemized Bill. Apparently only general bills are provided. Nothing is wireless and it uses almost all of our WiFi. Every time I open a door the whole entire house hears it. Nobody can sleep in anymore. I hate the system and want it gone. You are better with going with just about anything else. DO NOT USE VIVINT, NO!!!

The sales rep was knowledgeable and aware of our needs as a family. He let us know the additional benefits of having Vivint security. The installation guy for the panel and sensors was quick and efficient and did a great job explaining the features of our equipment.

He went over everything first. Explained everything well. Asked to ask him questions at any time. We were having problems with our internet, but he did not leave until it got fixed. He found another way to go about it. It took him hours, till he got it done. He was awesome.

He was respectful. I did not feel like he rushed the process. He explained everything and made sure we understood how everything works. He checked all the equipment several times to get everything working correctly. Thank you Vivint for making our home safer.

I was promised at signing of the contract 2 months of no payments and money is being withdrawn from my bank account even after talking to the sales rep and being told the problem was being taken care of. A text was sent to me saying it was taken care of but has not been.

I added additional services at my home and it's great, I like the protection that my business has and I wanted to include my home in those services as well. I am really happy that I decided to get Vivint.

Tech was very helpful. He was more knowledgeable with the equipment. He made it very easy to work with. He left area of work clean. Wish we could have added more to the system than we was able to have without adding another system on. Looks like we may have to go to ring alarm system soon for our full needs.

Salvador really explained all the products in detail, and how to use it properly. Great service all around. To his time installing the equipment, and was very informative when he did so. He was also aware of my kids, and explained some features that works help keep the kids safe and sound.

Techs were Great. Very professional. Free doorbell camera. Bell works. Camera doesn’t. Could not fix glitch in software. Tech will have to come back or call when fixed. Nothing Techs could do but were great. Google Mini works well. Hopefully issue with cameras is resolved soon.

Having just had the system installed, it is going to take some getting used to. So far I like what I am seeing. The video and images and very clear both day and night. The deter feature is nice. No major issues as of yet but I am sure it will deter anyone from doing anything. I know that in time it will get better and then I may have to add some other features just to make the home more synced up. Thanks.

The technician was very helpful with showing everything I needed to know and made sure he wore a mask to protect himself and my household from Covid. He showed me how to get into my account and make sure my house was safe at all times.

My account was set up improperly and my name was misspelled. The new install account wasn’t originally linked with our master account which created confusion all around until we got it fixed. We were on the phone for over an hour and transferred 8 times before it was finally resolved. It seems it’s not common for people to have multiple properties in different states. Ultimately it was a mixture of backend support, website settings, and mobile app settings that enabled the appropriate user experience to be presented. The pieces are all there but they just weren’t stitched together very well. It’s all working now except the quoted discounts weren’t applied for early payoff.

The salesman and tech were full of helpful ideas, experience, fast working, showed great teamwork. The tech putting the system in did a very clean job. We appreciate him cleaning after himself, ensuring everything was level. Just putting great pride in his work.

We had an alarm system, cameras, keyless entry lock installed. While the service rep was nice enough, he did not activate the keyless entry. We are seniors and do not understand technology very well. Our daughter-in-law Adriana was there to make sure we received the right equipment but she had to leave before he was done installing it. The tech gave us the keys to the entry and said that Adriana would be back to teach us. Of course she was expecting to go over what the tech had already showed us, but instead, she found that he not only failed to teach us the system, he did not activate the keyless entry and he did not install the app on our telephones.
