Your service rep Mario was very professional and patient in teaching us the whole camera system. He ensured we understood everything on the contract prior to us signing which was very comforting. He was awesome!!!! The cameras were set up with precision and final approval by me with his assistant. He checked in with me when he needed additional assistance with anything within the house. He was very careful when working inside the house ensuring not to damage any my our house items.

Jason was very professional, knowledgeable and considerate. All my equipment is high tech and easy to operate. I would definitely recommend Vivint and especially Jason. My only issue was the service took several hours to install but it was done fairly quietly and without any mess.

Representative was here for 5 hours and within those hours he did an amazing job at being patient with what seemed to be 100 of my questions. Usually people rush you to make this decision and he was calm and collective.

Easy process. Sat back and Louis did all the work to install everything we ordered. He cleaned up after he was done. Also explained all I needed to know. Happy with the results. Really a friendly team from the start of this to the end.

Great service! George was awesome and explained everything in detail! He was patient and made sure everything was working to my satisfaction. All the guys were very professional and respectful, from the beginning. Very thorough with the installation. Took them longer than expected, but I guess I didn't really know what to expect. No problems with the installation or the equipment. Highly recommend this company!

Lovely company, fast easy consult and clearly outlined costs and options for payment. Scheduling was flexible and fast. Installer arrived on time, was amicable, worked diligently to ensure cables were secure but well hidden and walked us through the entire system's functionality. System itself looks great, works great, and is easy to use. Will probably call again in the near future for further additions+upgrades.

Nothing negative to say. Ryan was a great and personable sales guy. He provided a clear description of the service while also setting clear expectations on my side for what I was going to see going forward. David was a quick working and competent installer. Both guys were super friendly. Also, the service itself is not half bad. Two thumbs up.

We have been a customer with Vivint since 2016. Always prompt in response to concerns or troubleshooting. My family has relocated from Colorado to Texas and they have made sure to follow up with us to ensure our families security is of top priority. I highly recommend Vivint for your security needs.

Great system. The technology integrates really well into the home. Being able to access and control everything on my phone is fantastic. The camera is crystal clear even at night. The package protection feature is really well thought out. The smart hub panel looks nice and the light underneath gives a clear indication on the status of the system. Easy to use.

James and Doug were great! They did a walk through and recommended some things that weren’t on my original order and explained why those items would be useful to my safety. Technician 10, support 3. I applied online and somehow the order was wrong. Josh the tech was outstanding in explaining what was wrong and how he was trying to resolve it. I listened to him on the phone, he was calm and patient with the several support staff he was transferred to who couldn’t help! A Vivint Supv came out and too was a very good representative of the company. Josh did a great job representing Vivint. It was disappointing the issue couldn’t be resolved about 30 min earlier, it shouldn’t have been that difficult!

Kole was a great representative from the start. He made me feel secure in my decision and I didn’t feel taken advantage of or bombarded. James was great with installation. The tech walked all the way around, and inside the house. While conducting the walk through explained everything he was going to do to the fullest. As he worked and explained and asked me if there was any questions. When it was all completed he showed me each Piece of equipment, and how it was connected. Then we walk through the panel and how it is operated.

My technician was knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. They walked us through the whole process and even was kind to my dog petting her and talking to her. He helped us figure out what was best for us. The sales rep was kind and personable. The product does speak for itself.

I had been a customer for 6 or so years and I’ve had a number of problems with thermostats going offline but I’ve continued to work with them to fix the problems. This past December I sold the house on the 6th. On that day the new owner and myself worked with customer service to pull me off and put new owner on. I was told at that time I was done. The new owner apparently decided at some point to go another direction and did not finish the transition. Since then I have tried to cancel the account however they continue to bill me and have been rude.
I was current on bill December 6th. However they informed me I had to pay before I closed account for a month that was not mine and was supposed to be closed on my end. I have emailed and called to close but they keep billing it’s incredible how I who had been a loyal customer for 6 years has been treated. At that first month knowing my sell of the house and realizing they switched customers we should have been done but they have continued to bill. After the second month I finally reached a supervisor who was kind and helped clear it up. However a month later it’s still not done and they were rude again about it and added another month on a account that should be closed. I would avoid Vivint at all costs. They have no loyalty to loyal customers.

Vivint Outdoor claim to have 140° but I think I’m only getting 120°. I compared Vivint Outdoor Camera to My Ring Floodlight. And it’s a really big difference. Sorry Vivint I’m staying with My old Home Security System. I will be canceling My contract.

Ryan was very patient with me as I asked questions + he also noted that we had our sensor's covered on garage and back doors. He showed me where I actually put weather stripping around back door and metal stripping when our house was built was on garage door. He was very helpful and courteous.

Can I say this was the second this got installed and setup and my pro Aaron ** was amazing!! He was patient, professional with a good personality and understanding. When he needed to explain things he was thorough and broke it down well. It's great when a company has a person so good they make you want to find people to have him install the system. Didn’t give five stars because I had to ask one technician to wear his mask correctly. I told salesman my husband is immune suppressed. Also it would be nice if they wore shoe covers. Also they ran out of smart drives so my cameras won’t store any videos if needed until Monday which is six days away so hopefully we have no incidents during this time. However, I am happy with the equipment we were able to get for our home. :)

I was not very impressed with Vivint. I worked in their call center for a short time, and was surprised how difficult it was to help customers with their problems. The hold times were usually 30 minutes to an hour, and you were frequently transferred around and lost your spot in the queue. The actual equipment and service is good, but expensive, and the cancellation policy is horrible.

Braxton ** did a great job. He was very friendly and helpful. The alarm system is very cool!! Everyone should change to a Vivint alarm system! All exterior doors now have very cool electronic locks that can be controlled by the app or the monitor!

I love the system with the cameras and doorbell ring, the monitor is great and the fire and carbon monoxide detectors. Easy to use on the smartphone. Monitoring, this is truly a great system. I had an alarm installation conducted on 18 Feb 21. The technician was nice and did a great job, however, during the installation of one camera while he was fishing the line through the wall part of the drywall and paint was damaged near the outlet cover that extends beyond the cover.

I think there is a noticeable 2 second delay when having a conversation with someone on the phone- I think that was a cause for some confusion. The sound quality coming from Vivint is quite choppy at times, so that probably caused some other confusion as well.

Initially, everything went well. Equipment was explained thoroughly. Got the agreement, signed and the installation was the same day. I gave it 4 stars due the extensive time it took to get me set up. I previously had an alarm system, so I figured it should be fast. It took almost 5 hours. He showed up after 7PM and was done at 12AM. I just found it odd, he was a young man and another young man showed up a couple hours later to help him. Also, I was told I would get a Nest thermostat and he wasn’t able to install it, so they installed a different one. They didn’t even bother cleaning up their mess after.

The installation process was awful. They made a huge hole in my garage, where they were supposed to install the garage camera, and filled it with clear glue. Complete mess. Then, they messed up my garage door sensors, my door wouldn't close, then the manager wouldn't allow the installer to help fix it. I told them that it worked before they messed with it, and he refused to let them help me. He even uttered multiple racist statements that were ironically caught on my new Vivint cameras. I asked for help, again stating it worked before they worked on it, and he just shook his head and made them leave.

Yesterday we got sold the products and service. The installation was a terrible experience, rushed and careless. After actually using the products for a few hours we are dissatisfied with the end result and want to cancel. Alex, our salesman, mentioned he would give us a call today to follow up with us, but he has yet to call us. We’ve called him 3 times, left a voicemail, 2 text messages and no response. We want to cancel immediately and we are having trouble getting a hold of someone to do so. I recommend researching the entire security market before settling with Vivint, because if you change your mind it will be difficult to cancel.

The only issue I had has having to purchase new equipment after being told my current equipment could be synced to Vivint's system. I would also suggest customers have knowledge that they are financing the equipment for 5 years and should have a equipment buyout option. During the installation I heard the tech on the phone with customer service and the issue was my "new" system was a refurbished system still attached to a customers account. My question to myself was what's the difference in what I am financing for a refurbished system than a new system. It shouldn't be the same price. The installation took about an hour. Mainly technical issues and the representatives were courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves. It looks professionally done and I feel secure with my new system.

The team that worked on my project was friendly and professional. I have had the same security system in my house for 7 years or so, haven't had a reason to change, nor did I want to. After dealing with the team that came to my house I am happy I did. They were not pushy, they didn't try to sell me everything under the sun. Henry made me question how much I was paying and what I was getting for my money. I told Henry at first I needed to talk to my wife about the change and would call him and let him know. In short this means "I don't want to buy your product" in a nice way. After he left I checked my bill with ADT and found out it had went up again. I then went and talked to my wife and quickly called Henry back. Within the same day, I had my new system installed.

The tech had explained the system very well and showed me everything that I needed to know on how to work the system, the cameras, arming and disarming through the app, etc. He explained to me how the doorbell works and how I can review the cameras from both my phone app and the alarm system. Gabriel was great! He explained everything thoroughly when it came to using the alarm and camera system even when we needed things explained multiple times. He was very patient. I also appreciated the use of disposal booties to come into the house during this time of COVID 19. Overall, the experience was a very positive one. I would definitely recommend this service to a friend based off my experience today.

I was very pleased with the customer service received today! The customer representative was very knowledgeable about the products and helped me to make a decision on what system I needed. From the Salesman to the installation Technician, this Company sets the bar of Excellence! Jordan was the Salesman that did a great job under fire, lol. I bet I asked him a million questions and he professionally answered them all. Now came time for the installation. Nick arrived right on time looking like Santa (to me) carrying all of the boxes of hardware. From the moment he showed up, I just knew that this guy knows his trade. The best personality, very professional and it showed that he loved his job.

Our tech Jessie did an awesome job installing our system, was knowledge on the products, and handled himself professionally. There was a bump in our installation plan and he went above and beyond to repair the problem and ensure that it was done perfectly. Compared to other companies' technicians, Jessie blew them out of the water.

I’ve always been very comfortable with Vivint. We have installed four systems so far. To be honest I haven’t tried any others because I’ve been very happy with them. They don’t charge a lot monthly and their service seems to be timely. Also, I’ve always had good experiences with the installers and with everyone that I have called on the phone. No company is perfect and I’m sure there are people out there with complaints but I don’t have any.

I feel that the wiring should've been ran through the attic so, I don't see visible wiring in the rooms. He needed a outlet for cameras. Looks really tacky. He didn't put a fitting around the wire in rooms so I've hole with wiring in it. I've seen better installations in my time. And also your first tech canceled on me because he had a doctor's appointment so he sent Evan in his place.

I switched from Brinks. The rep took his time to explain everything to my husband and since I wasn't available at the time he explained it to me also. The installation was amazing and done within 30 minutes of signing the paperwork. It only been a day but based on customer service I'm very pleased.

I requested a total of 6 cameras and a doorbell. Although I made it quite clear that I needed to see the products, I was charged and money immediately withdrawn. Feb 12th 1 installation was done and eventually completed on February 17th. I installed a total of 4 cameras- cannot contact CS and a further charge was taken out of my account. Communication with the company is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Still waiting to hear back.

My sales representative was very polite and professional, explained the system and its functioning versus the system I had already installed but was very professional as to not belittle the other company. Installation was done with regards to how the homeowner wanted the camera to be arranged for viewing. Overall experience was very well presented and done.

Negotiating the deal was great and the pricing as well. However, my only complaint was that the installment was done immediately. I would not have complained if the negotiation was at an earlier time in the day, but it was late in the day. We were waiting for the crew to finish, but once they were finished, they were done at around 12 am. Overall, the crew was very polite and kind.

The initial gentleman I spoke with was very pleasant, but in training and had to wait for his supervisor to arrive to give me more details. The supervisor arrived and was very thorough in explaining the product. What he didn't tell me was he was running my credit AND opening a line of credit. My credit monitoring service notified me after it was already done. Had he asked me, I would've declined, but it was too late. The supervisor, also rushed me through the disclosures and insisted on which answers I should select during the survey. It was very heavy-handed and discomforting. On a positive note, the installation technician was very patient and he did an amazing job installing the system and showing us the ins-and-outs. Overall, kudos to Tyler (the trainee) and Peter (the installer). Not so much to Tyler, the supervisor.

So very pleased with Vivint's installation team, (Calum and Bill). They were very efficient and knowledgeable when connecting my new security system. They had to make a few adaptions since my home is so old, but were very resourceful. They were careful and neat and made the wiring very inconspicuous. Their training for my use was thorough and they were so patient and kind, making sure I was comfortable and confident using it. The system itself is remarkably simple and easy to use. I LOVE IT. We are feeling good about the security system installed with Vivint today. The door bell with camera, alarms at our windows and doors, and newer smoke alarm system does a lot to put our minds at ease. Installation went well. System works good so far! I like the cameras that allow me to see the entry areas front and back. I also like the remote control features that allow me to open the front door and garage from my phone, as well as, the ability to activate and deactivate the alarm from my phone.

Shaun did an amazing job setting up our home security system. Our home was built in 1977, so the electrical is pretty rough. Shaun climbed up into our attic and wired everything like a boss. It was very impressive to watch. We love our new home security system.

We had a home break in Wednesday and many things were stolen, to include our car and house keys. We knew we had to get a home security system asap. My wife called Vivint because our daughter has been very pleased with the company and gave us a referral code to set up service for our home. We spoke with Aton in Utah and found him to be not only extremely helpful but sympathetic to our need to get our security system in as soon as possible. As promised our system was installed the next day by Sheena in Lawton Oklahoma. She gave us excellent customer service and explained everything we needed to know to operate our system. My wife feels safer now, as do I.

It’s only been a couple days so my review is more on customer service and feasibility than the product itself. Our door to door salesman was beyond informative and amiable. He presented himself and then answered every question and concern is such a genuine way we couldn’t help but keep listening. He was also training someone that was with him and he was very open about that from the start as well. Then as he taught her the of VIVINT it became even more clear that this company is straightforward and sensible in its nature. He sold us on the product and thus far we have no regrets.
Installation was almost immediate - when they say same day they mean it - and the installation guy was really awesome and kind as well. We didn’t have the most simple set up because of how our house was previously wired, but he stayed professional, patient, and determined to make everything right throughout the whole process. Extra products and parts he found out he needed the night of our install (due to our funky wiring and outdated specs). He came back with the next day. The cost we were quoted remained the same and thus far we are loving our new system! All of it makes a lot more sense than companies we’ve used in the past! Definitely recommend!

I just purchased my first home and got Vivint installed today. I could not be more happy. Vivint is by far the leading provider when it comes to security. Their system and products have more customizable features than any security system I’ve ever seen. This advanced system is user friendly, but also satisfies those individuals who are looking for all the bells and whistles. I would recommend Vivint to anyone!
