The installation process was super fast. The tech was nice and very helpful with all the questions we had. The OS is super intuitive and straightforward. 10/10! Will definitely look into getting installed more cameras and the door lock.

The individual that came to our door presented us a sales pitch that was filled with false information. He presented us with the idea that we would be used for advertising and because of this we wouldn't pay any out of pocket for the equipment, but after he left it was discovered that actually we are paying for the equipment. The gentleman who did our install did a great job, no complaints there.

This is the Best security system by far! I love my Vivint Smart Home and what a company. Might be the best Company in the world! I control this system from anywhere in the world!! Nobody has a better doorbell camera.

Both the sales associate and the installer were very knowledgeable and informative. We are very satisfied with the equipment and experience. The security the system provides makes me sleep better at night! And when I leave for work in the morning I feel my wife is secure.

I would give 5 stars for the install and another 5 for customer service. My reps were great! However, the employee who was recovering training left my side gate open and my dogs got out. I then had to pay $60 to get my two dogs from the pound because they were picked up from animal control. That is very unprofessional.

The product is excellent but the price is kind of high. I don’t have any complaints. The product feel my expectations so I am very satisfy. I like Vivint. I will recommend it but like I say for me the price is high.

Everything works great and the technician was a big help!!! The technician took his time to make sure he installed everything sufficiently. Even though it’s one camera offline he has agreed to return to get it up and running for me!

Shane was great and helpful. He took time to teach the gentleman shadowing him. He came by later to check on the same day Install. I would recommend to all my friends. I already told my neighbors about the service. I really like that in 5 years my service goes down. I also love the camera on the doorbell.

Technician Efren was very patient and acknowledged about every step of the process. System is working good so far. Easy to alarm and disarm. Panel is in sync with phone app, and can be controlled from anywhere. No cameras were added due to their high cost.

Salvador, was very knowledgeable and precise on location of cameras. Customer service/sales messed up my application but he was also able to complete what sales failed to do. He took the time to make sure I knew how to change batteries, work the app and work the monitor. Will recommend Salvador!!!

Hey Neighbors! My family and I also got the Vivint Security System installed in our home today, and we love it! My husband and I have wanted to get a Smart Home Security System ever since we first moved into our new home in May, but everything got delayed due to COVID. The unique feature about the Vivint Security System is that all of the equipment does not run through your wifi; it's all connected through satellite, so there’s no fear of your security system going down when there are storms or if someone cuts the connection to your wifi. George was our sales rep, and he did a fantastic job explaining all of the features of what they offered and sold us on the spot of why we needed it in our home. All of our furbabies loved George, too, as you can see in the picture. LOL!
The best part about this process is how quickly everything was complete. My husband and I work long hours, so it’s hard to set aside time to do anything extra. The technicians came out the next day after we signed up to install everything we wanted. We are happy with the Vivint system and the customer service! Emilio and his trainee who came to install were professional, polite and very much subject matter experts in their job. Made and explained everything very easily. Their installation jobs were very precise and clean. I would definitely recommend going through Vivint and I would recommend these guys to do any installation.

My wife and I had three sales representatives come to our Home. My wife chose Angel **. Angel was wonderful and family oriented. He listened to what we wanted and explained everything to us regarding purchasing or Financing our equipment. Also explained how some of the equipment worked. Our equipment was installed by Quincy. He immediately confirmed the equipment we ordered then asked where we wanted our equipment. During and after installment of the equipment he explained how the equipment worked and helped with setting the Apps on my phone, helped with logging on and showed me hands on how to navigate the Apps. Quincy also asked for a broom and cleaned after himself. Great attitude and an awesome experience with both Employees from Vivint.

Tech knew what he was doing. He installed everything without a hitch and. It took him around 5 hours but did everything perfectly. There isn’t really anything I would change about my experience with Vivint and the installation process.

My experience so far with Vivint has been great. From me making the initial call with the customer representative all the way to the technician that came to my home. It was a great experience!! My technician was very patient and show my husband and I all we needed to know. I even added more equipment to my home and the technician was great and kind.

Yes I am happy with my alarm system but the quote the sales representative gave me was way off from what the installation representative gave me and I felt like that was really messed up. So I still went with it but felt very disappointed with the initial quote and then find out it’s gonna be more. Not cool.

Everything was working perfect and going smooth. But as soon as the install team left my wife got kicked out and two cameras went offline! We have 7 other friends waiting to get theirs. I hope this is fixed very VERY SOON! NIKO OUR SALESMAN GREAT. 5 STARS. My wife and I would sleep better at night with our kids knowing our security cameras are working. I don't want this to leave a bad thought in my mind. I'm waiting to give a 5 star rating. For now it's a 2 but can easily be a 5. Again the guys were GREAT BEYOND GREAT. HOWEVER THE CAMERA TROUBLESHOOTING (LESS THAN 8 HOURS MAKES YOU WONDER).

We had Vivint installed today. Considering the age and restraints of our home, the install and installer were great. The outside cameras are impressive, the picture and sound quality are remarkable. I liked the pitch and the quality of product you offer. I do wish I was informed that a hard credit check was performed before I agreed to anything but that’s just something you can add in later. I also enjoy customizing the amount of security features you can have because some are not needed and I stay away from packaged deals.

Santiago did an amazing job updating my unit with 4g SIM card. He was very respectful and knowledgeable. The contract spoken over the phone with sales people was incorrect and it took a long time to modify but after all said and done I am a content consumer. Thank you Santiago!

From the time I inquired about getting a security system through Vivint to the time that it was installed, it was a very smooth process. Everything was explained to me in detail. Tech gave me a call before he arrived to give me a heads up. Tech promptly walked the property with me and explained where camera placements would be best placed. Tech even installed extra equipment that wasn't on the initial offering call. Great experience overall.

Installers Jose & Julio greeted me at the door. Both were friendly and got right to business. Reviewed the order and work to be done. Accommodated the location of cameras and sensors and went to work installing. They cleaned up any and all areas of debris from their work. Tested system for complete coverage and then reviewed the system with me and my wife. Asked if we had any questions he could answer. Completed the install by signing the work order.

The sale was great. Kai did a great job explaining everything. Once the deal was done, at 9pm they install team showed up to do the install.... That was unacceptable. They said it would take at least 2 hours to do it all. Finally, they agreed to just do the control panel and deadbolts on the first night and reschedule the rest to another day. It worked out, but they left our house at 10:15pm and went to another home to do yet another install. So, be prepared to discuss scheduling as you go.

They were in and out in about 2 hours for the complete installation and walkthrough of the system. Very professional and efficient in their work. We were especially impressed by the fact that they asked for a broom so they could clean up shavings and pieces from any holes drilled. Our house is brand new and doesn’t have internet yet, so the fact that we can have a home security system of this caliber without it is awesome. They forgot that a specialist has to do the smoke detectors in Texas, so they have a return appointment scheduled for later this week. Overall very positive experience.

We got it installed last night and the technician was an awesome guy. Very polite and very efficient in what he does. He finished installing everything and went to close his work order and could not so we called and was told we did not have the finance application. That it was lost or missing so we spent about an hour and half on the phone with them dealing with that and had to redo the whole process and it took till 1130 at night in doing so. So I would say this was a very bad first impression of Vivint so far.

System doesn’t work, tech doesn’t understand the problem, I need someone who can fix it. Can’t operate the system or find the problem. Doors are offline, repeater the many connected, tells me that’s a different department, I have two main units and he doesn’t know why. I asked for a tech to come to my house and that was denied. I need help to fix or you can come get it off my porch.

System doesn't work. Phone app won't load. Disappointed in the installation process. The deadbolt locks but doesn't unlock. Can't load the app from the links as the password was never able to be instituted. Very disappointed. Why would this be a situation to deal with.

Our technician, Roden was very informative and personable. He was able to install our security system and answer all of questions that we had. It did take a while for our doorbell camera to work, but Roden took his time to figure out what was wrong and switched it out for a new one and it worked. Thought salesman said my Brinks had been bought out. Now I think I have a much better product. When we use it more I think we will like it even more. My 88 year old husband who is prone to be forgetful worked it by himself the very first day. If the total monthly payment is 60.00 we will be very happy! We have yet to decipher all the paperwork but will get to it.

Changed my home security system from ADT to Vivint and experienced immediately satisfaction with my decision to change. The technical skills and quality of the service exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend Vivint to everyone. The quality of the system and the ancillary devices far exceeded the functionality of the services and devices provided by ADT. More importantly, the cost of the monthly fee was lower than the yearly increasing cost of ADT.

On the day of 03/13/2021 Andrew ** came and did my instillation. Andrew was very friendly, and amazingly helpful. He answered all questions I had to the best of his knowledge. After a disappointing experience with our previous security/alarm system, we decided to give Vivint a try as they are also our Solar provider. Door lock. Two cameras, two door lock. Split my door. He split one of my door hinges and took off the metal clips that hole that go on the door and left bare wood on both doors bare wood. I like the system but it could’ve been done better lot.

Took between 2 - 3 hours for simple installation. Techs were very polite, but didn't seem to have much expertise. They had to keep calling supervisor for more instructions. I would rate their service about a C- to a D+.

Our experience with Vivint has been great. The products and services are wonderful quality and the price is definitely worth the security that the system provides. Our installation with Smart Home Pro Caleb went great. He installed 12 sensors, a doorbell cam, panel, outdoor cam, motion sensor, and glass break sensor in a very timely manner and very efficiently. He was very friendly and personable. Great Customer Service and Products!

I feel the need to review my experience with Vivint in two separate areas: the actual product, and the sales tactics used to sell that product. So far, the product seems fine. It seems to work well, and it is something we were interested in purchasing. However, I did not feel that the sales tactics were honest and forthright. The sales tech told us that we would be given all of the equipment and installation for free as an example home to help them sell their product in our neighborhood. He said they would be coming through our neighborhood tomorrow trying to sell their doorbell camera and having their sign in our yard would help them to do that. He said that they would only be doing free equipment and installation for three houses in the area and the deal was TODAY ONLY.
I suspected that this was likely not true, and a little bit of online research confirmed this. It appears that this is what they tell every house and this is just their normal sales tactic. Which wouldn’t be so bad if it was at least TRUE that you are getting the equipment and installation for free—but it’s not. They get you deep into the process where you’ve already signed a bunch of paperwork and agreed to bunch of things before they tell you that you’re actually applying for a loan for a financing agreement to pay for the equipment.
The equipment is not free at all. They just tell you that to get their foot in the door. I also very much doubt that they are actually coming through the neighborhood tomorrow to try to sell their doorbell cameras. They might be coming through the neighborhood tomorrow, but I would be willing to bet that they will be giving every person they talk to the same “deal” that they gave us. Like I said, the equipment seems good.
The online reviews of their actual equipment and the actual service they provide are largely positive. But it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that they use predatory and dishonest techniques to sell that equipment. It’s hard to feel comfortable and confident in your ongoing relationship with a company when they begin that relationship on a foundation of dishonesty.
(Oh...and a little online research also reveals that they’ve been in their share of hot water for these predatory sales techniques in the past, too. They’ve been reported to the Better Business Bureau regularly and seem to have dealt with more than their share of lawsuits, as well. You can see the aftermath of these lawsuits in the questions that are asked in the recorded “interview” that is part of the sales process. So they clearly were forced to make some adjustments to their tactics, which is great—but it’s clear that further adjustments are necessary. Don’t tell people they are getting some special deal and their equipment is free when those things aren’t true. You ended up with a customer, sure—but this customer already doesn’t trust you very much.)

Very unhappy with the install. He did not do the things he said he was going to do nor did he do it in a timely manner. Taking him three times to come out. Install 3 cameras, glass break infection in front and back door monitor. Leaving trash around the house instead of taking it with him when he left. Making promises he could not keep. Lyft camera that was supposed to be put up in my room with the monitoring system. Left on desk in the living room with wires just hanging everywhere.

The installer was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. He cleaned up all the saw dust and sheet rock dust. When finished he went over all the features and explained how to use them. He made suggestions on how to start with a general setup and then program custom settings.

Took his time to explain to me the process on how the security system works. Made sure everything was up to date and if previous equipment was placed incorrectly he made sure to adjust it. 1 of the door chimes was not leveled, the motion sensor was not screwed in and he made sure the laundry door was secured as well.
