Installer was super nice, knowledgeable and informative. Installer showed up on time. Everything went smoothly, security system is better than I had hoped. Of all the security companies we have gone through this is by far the best one of the bunch. Big thanks to the people at different for thinking that’s damn near everything!

I was using ADT but the constant problems with the service was too much. I remembered I had Vivint at one of the restaurants I ran. I made the call and made the switch, very happy I did. The tech that came out was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the product.

The sales guy and the installer were both very thorough and did a good job. System is good and useful. I’m very pleased with the system. Suggestion: They should not knock on doors selling or do installs after the sun goes down.

We have had Vivint recently installed in our new home and it brings so much peace to both new and my new wife! We absolutely love it and are very grateful for our system! From door sensors to having custom cameras installed we love our new security and would recommend to anybody!

Calling in about home security was a pleasure, Heidyn did such an amazing job and helped me pick out an awesome package. Was scheduled for next Tuesday but was told if something comes available she would reach back out and my install was done the next day. Awesome staff!! So far happy with the installation. But washing the image for the doorbell it's constantly frozen and it's on medium get worse if go up on quality. Back camera do more better. The installer is very professional and patient when asked questions

Vivint fits what I’m looking for in a home security system. I’m very pleased with how the installation was done and the only things I would have liked to be different were a slightly slower paced conversation with more technical details from my rep. Overall it’s a good start.

Not exactly certain I am satisfied with the System. First Morning/Day after install and the entire process and a sort of bait and switch. An increase in cost at the end of installation. Waiting for Sales/CSR to return. Ask me later.

The doorbell and camera go offline as often as 35 times an hour. After hours on the phone with several customer service reps, each time going through the same diagnostic steps, a home service call was scheduled for one week out. No technician arrived. On yet another phone call to customer service, I was told the work order had been canceled “because the customer didn’t need it.” I stated that I did not cancel the call and was then told a “specialist” would call me back in about 10 minutes. That was 5 hours ago.

Sales Rep James came to my house yesterday pitching Vivint. This was just his 2nd day working so I was very patient with him. His pitch was very good and seeing as I was looking for a limited security system he provided me the exact information I required. His manager had to help with the sale due to a paperwork snafu but overall the service was great. The installer was here within a 1/2 hour and immediately set to work with the installation. Everyone that I dealt with was extremely polite and professional. Pricing was within my budget and I now have a security system. Would recommend this company.

Service and installation went well. I am very pleased with the system and would recommend to friends. Installer stated yard sign would come in mail, price of system could be negotiated a little more due to fact that I'm a senior citizen and on fixed income with a disability.

Vivint claimed to have send a security patrol to my house due to a false alarm and charged me $44.34 but, when I reviewed my Ring security cameras recording, the time Vivint claimed, nobody was at my front door. This is their 1st lie to me as their current customer. I called to dispute this charge and they told me that they will cancel the charge. Today I received an email from Vivint telling me that the reimbursement was denied. This is their 2nd lie to me. If anyone of you who are looking for an alarm system, stay away from this company because you can never trust a company that constantly lies to their customers.

Justin installed everything fast and took care of us in about 2 hours or less. He brought his partner to help him finish installation quickly. The camera views looks great and I love how the app connects to the thermostat and cameras.

I have not had my system a week yet, but I like the fact that I can check my home at anytime during the day. You can do this with any system, but I like the reliability and having a professional do the installation!

I had this system where I lived before. We had cameras on front door, driveway and backyard. I knew who was ringing my doorbell or what the kids were doing in the backyard. The camera showing the driveway saved my car from being stolen. I heard noise in driveway (my bedroom looked out on it) and saw someone trying to get my car. It was all on camera for the police. Would definitely recommend this system.

Just completed my three day waiting period to see if I liked this new security system and I must say I’m very impressed with the clarity of the cameras that were installed. The salesman came back two days after they were installed to make sure I was comfortable with the APP for the system and programming. The company in general has great structure in how they manage their services and how they project their brand through their team. Their system is efficient, Intuit and integrates great with Alexa, cost is competitive and on top of that they offer solar panels.. Thank you guys!

Technician arrived on time and the install was perfect. System is easy to use. Highly recommend! App on my phone was easy to download and works perfectly. I shared it to all of my employees and they immediately figured out how it works. Easy to set schedules on and off or add additional users.

Tech was very young. Very nice. Took a while for installation due to lack of parts. Everything was installed. Explained to tech I had Monitronics/Brinks before. They never tried to give me a decent deal till I said I would replace them.

I spoke to a very nice representative who told me about the service and what it would cost for a normal resident to receive the services. He also stated out of the home that were visited they were going to select one who would be a good representative for Vivint to get their system for free. Service needs improvement. Poor practices include unmarked cars, no company uniform, showing up at 9:00 and not leaving until after 1:00 am. Serviceman said “Oh sometime we don’t finish until 3:00-4:00 in the morning”. Really? 2-3 strangers in our home until 1:00-4:00am? Not good ideas.

Lincoln the sales rep was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The installer placed a motion sensor in the wrong area. He also didn't review where each piece of equipment was installed before leaving. Otherwise the error would have been noticed and he could have moved it. I chatted with customer service about the mistake. Customer service was mediocre. I was told it was stick-on and I would have to relocate the motion sensor myself. It's screwed to the wall and will leave a hole in the wall when removed. Customer service should have offered to send the installer back out to correct the issue and repair the hole. Hoping that happens...

Install was pretty great, took a while but I did order a lot. We got Vivint system with cameras due to troublesome neighborhood kids. Well, the system works great and we gathering video evidence every day. I plan on getting additional parts like the smart door locks and smart thermostat.

Had my panel upgraded and installed a new camera. The new panel fixed the issue I was having with other cameras. Which was mostly lag and couldn't use the two way microphone. Everything looks great and seem to be working as it should so far. Great customer service! From sales to the installer.

Everyone from the salesman to the installation team it was a great experience. The install took about an hour and from start to finish was a quick process. We signed up for service yesterday with Nick, who was selling in the area. He was very knowledgeable about the system, and we decided it would be worth it to keep the home secure. Install happened immediately, and by 7pm we were up and running. So far, it seems to be a great system and we are pleased. Install folks were also very professional and friendly!

Very happy with representative Cole and install. Great deal on an integrated smart system. Active prevention is important because we travel a lot. Salesman was pushy and had a hard time listening to requests for timeframes around my work schedule which came off as rude. Recommend do not make it obvious that pushing for commission is the primary concern. Giving a 5 star however as our technician was great.

There are several reasons for my dissatisfaction rating. I was mislead on several descriptions on the system switch over would be compatible. Next, the cancelation fee would be covered and it would be simple. It has not simple. The ease of transition/transfer from ADT to Vivint has not been. I was Not informed my credit would be pulled and that the equipment would be financed through a third party until after it was already complete. The list goes on, I will be seeking a cancelation.

The salesman told me I have a free 30 day trial period with no charge. Now on the paper it state 3 days trial. After that time I would be obligated to pay the bank per bank representative I talked to. If I decide that I don't want Vivint after 30 day I would have to continue to pay off the $2800 without the service for equipment. The saleman wrote on the paper 6/6/21. Instead writing do not have to pay after 30 day trial period for equipment. I have ADT and they don't have me lock in to pay for equipment. I pay 49 a month without banks involved to finance alarm system. Your saleman are not honest about selling your alarm systems. They said installation is free but it's included in the equipment. $2800.00 price over 60 months. So they can come get the system Monday.

I ordered the self install kit and it's not even going to have the major reason I'm getting the system for in the first place which is the outdoor camera to guard my front door. And my car. And they would not even add it to the kit for me and I'm coming from ADT that really dicked me over. And I want a system in my home. And my system has not even shipped yet.

Christina was very thorough with her install. She cleaned up her workspace prior to moving to a new location. She made sure I was okay with a location of a product before drilling and mounting anything. Upon completion, her instructions were thorough. She made sure I was able to operate the functions and features of my new system before leaving. It was a pleasure having her in my home to complete this installation.

I just loved the service, this is not a paid review by far. Unfortunately I was duped into a 3rd party contract with ADT & received outdated equipment and was paying a Bill of $70 a month. I was given the opportunity to switch with Vivint replacing all of my outdated equipment with newer stuff of course & my bill would be only $15 more than what I’m paying now. Almost everyone in my neighborhood has Vivint and now I’m happy to be a part of the family.

I have been considering a security system for sometime. My daughters have been insistent that I get one. I was outside my home yesterday and began talking to Omahri **, a Smart Home Pro in my area. He gave an impressive, inclusive presentation with visuals, videos. As a retired educator, I appreciated his knowledge, patience, and empathetic demeanor.
As a young person, he was very skilled in making connections/giving explanations per my ability to assimilate the information and technology. He made references to “seniors,” which we pleasantly changed to “experienced.” ???? He also made very nice references to his mother and grandmother, which made me feel he cared about the quality of this system for my own, personal use. He helped me load/understand the Vivint app on my phone. He also helped me with the security identification on it. (I also greatly appreciated that I did not feel judged by the total wreckage of many rooms in my home - I may NEVER get all this unpacked!)
I do not remember the name of the electrician/technician who came later to install everything. He was equally prompt, friendly, skilled, and efficient. We deferred to him for location of the main unit/device. It was a better choice than either Omahri or I had considered. He also explained everything patiently, allowed me to ask questions, and was quick and efficient. And he also abided my piles of books ???, paperwork, and everything else. I was horrified. They were polite professionals.
If this system works as well as these two representatives did, I feel confident I will like it very much. I was surprised to realize/remember it is what my daughter has had for almost a year. Memory is not my strongest attribute. I highly - 10 on scale of 1-10 - recommend both of these young men. Thank you for this opportunity to commend the professionalism of these two gentlemen.

The installation crew were extremely professional and courteous! They did a good job and followed health and safety protocols, which we appreciated. Although it was late, they offered to come back another time at our convenience. They worked hard and efficiently to get the job done in a timely fashion. It was a pleasant experience. Technician, Q, was very good with meeting our needs. He was very patient in explaining process and took into account what our needs were. I felt bad for him because installation took 4 hrs! He was incredibly friendly and thorough with his explanations of all the products and services offered through Vivint. As soon as we purchased everything he had technicians to our house within 20 minutes to install! Our technician was Gabriel ** and he was very friendly and efficient as well. He brought a couple guys to help and they were in and out very quickly. All in all we are very happy with not only the products we received, but also the team members we interacted with. Also, the price of the system itself is amazing and much better than other companies we have looked at.

Great service and product works very well so far. Cameras look great and have great coverage. It’s more responsive than our ring system. Very easy to use. Only issues are cheap seeming materials of the lock and thermostat, and lack of color selection for items like the lock during install. We got a gold color lock that doesn’t match anything. So far happy and impressed.

Now with 4k quality makes also a huge difference. We pick up a total of 7 cameras and sensors. Now we have a great peace of mind leaving and using our application to activate and disactivate alarm.

I was skeptical about it and in the end I decided to go for it. It’s been amazing to see what happens when you are not home. I would really recommend this to everyone. I thought I would have to sell a kidney to afford this but it’s literally not expensive.

I had a great installation experience. The tech was very knowledgeable and offered me upgrades that I had not considered. Very efficient, he even cleaned up his work area, not leaving any dust behind. I was appreciative of that.

They did a really good job and explained everything well. I would recommend these employees to anyone. So far the alarm system is doing as advertised. Installers was polite and courtesy. I think we will enjoy this system. I would like to thank them for a good clean job and showing us how the system works.

Prompt and professional, everything went as planned. Showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. Installation went as they had said and tech was punctual and courteous. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

It took 4 hours to install our alarm because they said the rep on the phone did not run a "hard" credit on me during my application hence Juan the technician had to get the run around transferred from 1 dept to another to verify that I qualified for financing. The customer service lines are terrible, you get 1 phone rep only to be transferred to another one who is still unable to resolve the issue at hand. Vivint needs to consolidate your phone lines to a single person who is efficient, and reliable. We were transferred numerous times and I'm just glad Juan the technician was patient enough to stay that long just to install the alarm. I will Definitely not recommend Vivint to anybody due to the terrible run around/customer service on the phone. It is not consumer friendly, imagine wasting half a day on phone calls! It is a very inefficient system your phone customer service. That will be vivint's downfall

Our installer was very friendly and knowledgeable! He was able to answer all of our questions and he was very quick and efficient! We look forward to working with him to install more equipment in the upcoming week. Five stars!
