Happy with product, a little frustrated with the price! Much more than I was quoted on the phone, when I told him I currently had a backyard camera that was not included in the quote. I feel like too interested in just getting my business. Hope things better. The installer was great- left ADT after 27 years. He also didn’t mention I was buying and financing the equipment, just said, "We bill differently."

They did a good job. Located the cameras right where I wanted them. They need more power to get them working correctly but they got it done. They were very friendly and they even liked my dog. The sales man was also very friendly and seem to be well informed on the system and how it works.

I just signed up for this new alarm service. Everybody from the sales rep Chad, the installation guys and customer service were wonderful. Chad explained everything to my understanding. I was having sign in issues and the customer service rep was very patient and tried everything he could to figure out the problem. I am now able to sign in. The thing that surprised and impressed me the most was that they installed my system the same day. I can now see my whole yard. Loving the doorbell camera. Chad (sales rep) kept me updated and arrived at 9:30 pm. Love this company.

Very friendly, very efficient, explained everything we needed to know about the system. Gave us the complete rundown and made us feel comfortable with the purchase and security options recommended and desired. Some reason it’s not letting me submit this review so if it does submit, then awesome!

The service that I received was very quick and the technician, sales representative was very respectful around my property and I was updated on the service that I was being receiving. They did not leave any unanswered question.... The sale representative was knowledgeable about the product and provided factual information regarding products.

Experienced an install that took 5 hours to not even complete (due to faulty equipment) (the doorbell) while still charging me full price for the ALL the services before beginning. Installer said he be back 4 days later to complete the job. Not what I agreed on, but what can you do?

Mario was super friendly, very personable and really helpful. He was not pushy or overbearing as a sales representative. Instead, he explained how Vivint works with enthusiasm and let the technology as well as the reviews speak for themselves. The technician, Austin, was also wonderful. He took his time to show us how to work everything. He was considerate regarding our feelings and very knowledgeable about the equipment and installation process. Overall, the experience was great and I would highly recommend Vivint to everyone I know!!

It's a great system, easy to use, the quality of the camera is really good and the sound too. Now I can leave my home with no worries and I can check in and see whenever I want. The technician was nice and respectful.

Great experience, worker made sure everything was working correctly before he left. No problems. Everything is going fine. Workers asked questions to assure we are getting best service possible. Offered all services possible. Worker took me step by step on the app to ensure that I know how to use correctly.

Mexi was my guy. He was so nice and informative and did everything he could to make sure it fit in my budget. I work two jobs and have my kids at home with my father a lot so safety is very important and this will help me so much!!!!

Our rep Danny was amazing at helping us choose the best products for our home. We feel much more safe & secure with our cameras. We will definitely feel less stressed leaving our home to travel every few weeks with the new security system! Our installation tech was awesome too, he very thorough & everything looks great & out of sight!

The sales guy Alex was nice and knowledgeable about everything. Walked my girlfriend and I through the products we wanted and the installer was nice, clean and professional. The system syncs to our mobile devices making the accessibility to the security system easily accessible from anywhere at any time.

I had ADT. Was paying $45 a month just for monitoring? A Vivint sales rep. knocked in my door, Aaron. Nice guy, very knowledgeable and informative! He stated ADT might be a little cheaper, but not better. He was correct!! I had some concerns and issues, he answered every one!!!! I was still on the fence, over thinking. So I called Vivint directly, spoke to Franklin. A really great rep. and spent sometime answering any odd question I had, put my mind at ease!!! An answer to prayer, actually!!! He professionally directed me back to Aaron to complete the process. I did. I ordered a system!!!

Aaron was very efficient and knowledgeable! Couldn’t ask for a better experienc. He was the best. He made sure me and my wife understood how to operate the system and he walked us through the process. We appreciate everything y’all do to make sure we feel safe at home and for my wife to know she has a extra layer of security when I’m not home! Thanks.

I’m happy with the cameras I guess. I needed them soon to see which person took my wallet. I’m lucky there wasn’t much in the wallet. I also wish it recorded more. Also got to be careful about the price they quote you because it’s just that they don’t tell you about the extra service fees. I’m not sure if I recommend yet.

I really enjoyed working with my rep today! He was very thorough with his explanation of products and extremely personable. My technician was to my house ready to install my new security system within 15 mins of finishing up with my rep. Great work done by both and I’m looking forward to using Vivint!

Vivint sent expert technicians to install my amazing new security system. Installation was efficient yet thorough, and training was easy. I also appreciate the referral discount. The system is sleek and fun to use; I wish I’d installed this system sooner. Highly recommended!

Technician Keron was a very professional worker. He assessed and walked through the property and finalized the list of sensors needed. He was also great at explaining the sensors' usage and its purposes. Throughout the process, I also saw that he tested everything very thoroughly. I would definitely recommend his service to any Vivint customer!

Noah did a fantastic job on the install, he was very efficient moving room to room with all necessary equipment/tools to complete the job. Had I been the one to install the equipment myself it would have taken me all day and plenty of back and forth to the garage for tools. At the completion of the install; Noah answered all of our questions and helped us with setting up the app. Great job!

I was overall impressed with the service from end to end. From the initial contact to the equipment installation. The instillation tech went above and beyond to ensure that I understand the system before leaving. He also provided me with the guidance and addressed my concerns.

I had previously been trapped in a contract with another security provider. Couldn't wait to get out of this bad relationship. This other company used a third-party company to install their product which took almost all day. Vivint had a friendly and experienced service tech install 3 new cameras along with their system. He then took his time to explain all options on the monitor as well as the phone app. Thank you!

From the moment I contacted Vivint to obtain a security system I was impressed with the such professional customer service. This review only reflects the sales staff and company as a whole. The installer was very kind very thorough and very quick none of this has anything to do with him. We have A total of seven locations with Vivint. Every time the install and cameras have been put in perfectly with a few hiccups here and there. This last round however I feel like I’ve been swindled by a sales person into getting me to sign up for the cameras and then magically not having any in stock. So I wait over two weeks for an install and I have one camera up and running.

Everyone I worked with was so kind, from the original sales rep and Emma who helped get my appointment situated, to the technician who was so kind and helpful. The overall process went so smoothly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The gentleman you guys had help me did an amazing job, great customer service skills. Cody and Devin were good! The alarm system seems to be legit and like I’m going to like it, it seems pretty easy to work.

The installing technician was fantastic! He did a great install and walked me through everything. He went through the whole house and installed everything well. He was patient with my questions and worked well even with a plumber at my house too.

Everything concerning the installation and operation of the Smart Home system was explained in layman’s term and I appreciate that. Equipment quality seems first class. The sales agent Mike was promptly on time too and that was nice after a long day.

I was told because I was a demo house I was getting my equipment for free. Then I realized when I got my billing information that 3000 dollars worth of equipment was something I was paying for as part of my bill. So I am not understanding why I'm still paying for equipment if it was supposed to be free.

I very much appreciate my salesman and installer. I had previously called VIVINT and my experience was not great. However, I wanted VIVINT! I'm a Realtor and know security systems. This is the system I wanted. My sales guy Josh never gave up on me, got me what I needed at a fair price and our installer was kind and patient. I couldn't be happier!

The technician, Luis, performed an outstanding job installing, communicating and ensuring order accuracy. The only hiccup was with the salesperson. He’s not very clear on exactly what you purchased, ie instead of a door sensor in the home kit it would be the doorbell. Just a clear definition of the items purchased and outlining of purchase would be helpful. The technician was the one who stepped in and resolved the communication barrier and saved the sale.

The CSR rep lied. Vivint is doing the 5g upgrades for ADT. I did not seek out vivint and they used predatory tactics to get in my door. Customer service won't call me back. Said they'd have a manager call me back. NOTHING has happened! They're dragging their feet to compelling me to keep this contract. James their sales rep is a liar and charlatan. They can come and get this equipment but say I have to pay the contract to remove it. I've notified Michigan Attorney General and the BBB.

Yes I had a great experience. Technician Jaden was very knowledgeable, fast and friendly. I really like my new system user friendly. Salesperson guided me through step-by-step, real informative, also knowledgeable and real respectful. Thanks Lucas. Definitely like it better than my last system.

Installer was fast, clean and very helpful going over the system and apps, was very patient with our questions and very respectful. Our installer was Nathan. He was from Nevada. The cameras and the apps are live and work great. Would highly recommend this system to my neighbors, friends and family.

Everything about the installation process was fantastic. Our tech (I forget his name) was attentive, patient, and friendly. He made sure everything was in working order and gave me a rundown of how to use it all. He was considerate of my husbands work schedule and completed the installation in our room first so my husband could go to sleep. He made sure to show me when products where updated in our account so I could see changes to costs. He was out to our home within hours of agreeing to work with Vivint.

Both the salesman (Cheyne) and the installer (Tyler) did a fantastic job. They explained everything and made me, my wife and two girls feel very comfortable. Highly recommend them and Vivint. The technology offered was exactly what me and my family needed to feel safer and more secure.

Our installer was knowledgeable. He was helpful and respectful. We felt comfortable with the products. He taught us how to work our new system and recommended additional products that were needed. He did not take too long with the installation. Our camera is so clear we can see everything. The equipment is very user friendly.

The technician and online support are great! But I received a promotion code from Vivint today, the email ask me to claim it by calling one number, I did so. After 20 minutes call, I was told this promotion code is not for me. I think it’s better to make sure only send customer useful code for saving everyone’s time. Thanks.

The overall service and products are great and easy to navigate. Technicians installed it same day and set up everything and very helpful and answered all the questions I asked. The application is easy to setup and control and so convenient. I can control everything from the app even I’m not home.

Overall customer service was great, fast and efficient. Salesman was polite, knowledgeable and to the point. And was able to have installation the same day. The installing technician was also very knowledgeable and efficient. And at no point attempted to upsell on anything that I did not need nor want.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Very quick and efficient install. Professional installation, clean and everything done right. Not like other satellite installs I have had where they make a mess and are not efficient. System is very easy to use and camera quality is the best we have had. I really like that the security system is dependent on my wifi as the cameras have their own cell chips on Vivint network.

The Sales Rep was knowledgeable and the Technician was able to do my install the same day. He made sure I knew how to operate the system before he left. I have been recommending Vivint to my friends and neighbors.

Very messy installation. The technician left debris at doors and windows where drilling took place, mark on wall from ladder. Too many plugs in outlet. Very little instruction on use of system. The technician seemed to have been in a hurry and left some of his equipment.

Our Vivint installer Rickey ** was excellent. He conducted a thorough examination of our alarm/camera and carbon monoxide/smoke detector needs; then reviewed these with me. He then checked my order vs our safety needs and found that it essentially fit well. Most important, he expertly installed the equipment, tested it and then instructed me on how to use with the in-house panel and on my iPhone Vivint app. He was professional, polite and friendly. I recommend Vivint… and specifically Rickey… to anyone with home security needs.

Once the contract was signed and the 3 day grace period to cancel was over, there was no assistance with responding to our needs from the sales person. I inquired about the need for additional equipment and was told we needed an authorized installer specific to CO2 and fire detectors. After multiple attempts there was no follow through or efforts to send someone out. The original installer did not show back up as promised when he did not complete the original install (he completed installing the equipment that I purchased through Vivint but did not complete the portion of the job of connecting the previously installed door and window sensors to the Vivint system).

The experience was positive. Craig was very knowledgeable and very focused on completing the job. The installation was complete and he assisted me with learning how to utilize the system via the application. The only thing I would have liked done would have been the removal of the old ADT sensors on the doors. I don’t know if it’s an issue to remove the sensors but seeing the old sensors takes a little away from the perfect installation of the new sensors. Very professional and helpful with setting up equipment. Easy guidelines. Have a very clear view with the cameras. Feel better with this system for protection. The technician suggestion on where to install the monitor and cameras was very helpful. Overall satisfied with both the tech and service.

I’m overall satisfied with the equipment and the installation. What I am not happy with is the misleading info I was told by two different salespeople at Vivint. After I made the order I got a email with my equipment list. I did not see a “Outdoor Camera” listed on that list. Even after I made it clear to the first salesperson that I wanted one along with a doorbell camera. I made another call to Vivint to confirm that the outdoor camera was included in my “Starter Pack.” They assured me that it was included and that I will be receiving an outdoor camera along with all of the other equipment I ordered.

Tim, the salesman is way too high pressure. Danny the installer was fabulous!! I have yet to get a contract and we are suppose to get 4 months free. Do not have the doorbell yet. Suppose to get that on Thursday. I hardly slept last night due to the light in the backyard.

I’m really happy with the product and company. As a customer’s point I feel like the installation is the main part on a security system. The installers took their time to walk around the house double checking the best spots for installing the product after they walked me through everything they were going to do and explained how to use every part of the system. Vivint rep Austin stopped by and we talked about all the options. He was very helpful! After everything was agreed upon the tech was there within 20 minutes to install! After everything was installed the tech walked me through how to use the system and cleaned up after himself, I would definitely recommend Vivint smart home to all my friends, family and everyone.

Nathan was amazing to work with it. He broke it down and went over everything with us and now we can feel safer with our kids. The tech that came out and installed everything was amazing. After a long day she still came out and did everything she could for us to be satisfied! Loved the experience! My parents are now thinking about signing up.

I feel great about having my new security system. My tech was able to come out quickly and walk me through the process in no time and he was very knowledgeable about the system and the answers to my questions.

We had a polite and knowledgeable installer. He went over and explained patiently how to use the equipment and made sure that I understood everything that was going on. He made sure that I was aware of what he was going to do to the house and the changes that were going to be made in my house. I was never confused or felt like any questions I didn’t know weren’t answered.

Today we had our Vivint alarm system installed. Cameras sensors and video cameras plus doorbell. The techs did an amazing job and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything we was getting. 3 days in after moving to Vivint my doorbell camera goes out. I call the customer service and they walk me through the troubleshooting. Since I don’t have the equipment they need to do the troubleshooting they can’t send a tech over to get it fixed untill July 18th. They won’t come fix the service unless they have the a replacement in which the camera is on back order. No happy with the equipment or customer service help.

Install was quick and easy, explained everything that we needed to know. App, garage door, all 4 cameras, thermostat, and ring doorbell. Guys were amazing, definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good system, as well as quick and friendly install. House if fully protected now, vacation time.

I was a satisfied customer until your business was unable to buy me out of my contract with Brinks. The technician took my back camera and left my wires expose for me to pay to get a technician to come out and put everything back the way it was. Not knowing I would have to go through all that if I could not keep your service. I would really like your company to reach out to me to see how they can help instead of giving me the run around. Sincerely a very dissatisfied customer.

Both were very professional and courteous and knew their job to the utmost knowledge, would recommend them to anyone in all states. So as a courtesy I would talk to my neighbors about signing up and would definitely recommend a raise across the board.

Vivint came by. I liked the product. Sales rep was good. Install so far has been going well. I like that the equipment is interest-free. The monitoring service is reasonably priced. I’ll update when the install is complete and I’m in the contract.

They came in like the Avengers to install my equipment 10 minutes after I completed my order. Very pleased with the accuracy and professionalism. They had a vacuum to clean up shavings, presented all of my new equipment and left it was like they were never there.

The Nest thermostat was installed yesterday evening and isn't working. Now I can't get anyone to come fix it for a week. I am totally disappointed in the customer service. It's in the 90s and I have no air conditioning.

I have little experience with home security systems, and of those I’ve tried, none are as consistent and easy to use as Vivint. I’m happy I made this purchase. The quality of the camera is superb, the installation was quick, learning how to use the control panel took minutes, and best of all, when the technician left, all of my questions were answered satisfactorily. Home security is now off of my to do list for good.
