    Alec, was amazing and very professional. He explained everything very clearly. We had some app issues, however Alec called customer service and stayed on the line until the issue was resolved. I would definitely refer a friend. There was a new technician that came to do the installation and it took longer than expected, however, he called for assistance and 3 other technicians came to assist him. I truly saw the great teamwork between them all and it was nice to see how they were there to help each other. Great job!

    Vivint sales pitch and their actual product performance is very different. The door lock does work mostly, but the door camera is flaky. Sometimes when trying to connect it would load forever or be very spotty. Additionally, I had inconsistent success with the trying to look at the camera videos alerts from the past. Note, I was on a 1GB internet pipe at the house and the system had a direct view of my modem about 30 feet away as well as the door about another 30 feet away.

    We had a wonderful experience with Giovanni and the install team. Very thorough and knowledgeable. All equipment is working great and is easy to use. We have cameras, glass break detection and door sensors. We didn’t previously have a doorbell but we do now and it has a camera which is great.     The app is easy to use and I like the ability to access my cameras and security system from anywhere. Downsides are the costs and customer service. Be aware that when you sign up, unless you pay for the equipment upfront, they set up a loan for you to pay off the equipment in 2-3 years. They didn't tell us this at the time of install and we thought we would be paying Vivint directly for these products. If you are unhappy with their service, there is a HUGE fee to cancel and you have to return the equipment, even though you were paying for it.... So clearly we were stuck.

    The panel regularly has issues and has notifications on it and I gave up calling every month to have it resolved. And unless they feel it's an issue on their end, they charge you to have a tech come out. Overall, you definite end up forking out a LOT of money for something that seems as basic as two camera and monitored service. It was our mistake for not shopping around and doing our research after one of our vehicles was broken into. We were just so eager to feel safe that we just said "yes" without realizing what we were doing or approving Vivint to do. If we were to do it all over again, I probably would haven't chosen Vivint.

    The tech was great. Worked six hrs straight without a break. He was patient and explained the process clearly and was thorough in his completion of the job. Our only issue was with the scheduling process. Our first appt got cancelled without a phone call and we had hardship arranging that time period. Then no called about rescheduling they just told us when the appt would be. I guess texting has taken the place if a respectful phone call.

    I was TOTALLY surprised by the contract/documents I received to sign. It was not what I was verbally told by the Rep, Matt **. I am very upset because I was given one price and received another. Also, I requested two (2) outside cameras and only received one (1). I was given a time for Monday and told the technician would call 30 minutes prior to coming that didn’t happen. Then I had to reschedule for Wednesday and was given the time of 8:00 am. I received a text after that time changing it to 10 am after I had taken off work and rearranged my day. I called him about the misquote in price and he advised me that the technician was the person to talk to about the equipment and he would be the person to discuss the cost and make any adjustments. The technician states that he could do that and contact I guess his supervisor Cindy at AMI. He told me he was giving me a discount of $450 but he only have me $200.

    I’m spelled because I only received 1 outside camera when I need 2 the cost was off tremendously and I had to take a two (2) days of work and I don’t have what I requested. I’m not asking or was I expecting anything free but give me what I asked for when I called Vivint. Also I told him I have an account with another company to purchase my cameras from Fortiva since I have almost paid them out this is not the only system I have, I have one in my home as well but he told me I couldn’t use them I needed to use Citizens. My day has been a completely NIGHTMARE. The technician Nathaniel was EXTREMELY NICE and went above and beyond to make sure everything was fine with me. He should be commended.

    I need to get a work order because I need a camera outside and the door ring is not in the correct space. It should be OUTSIDE. I need someone in upper management to look into this matter ASAP. I going to write a letter to VIVINT because I feel the Rep was VERY MISLEADING IN SO MANY WAYS just to get a sale and that is WRONG ON ALL levels. At this point I’m asking Management to pull the recording of our conversations, get me another camera for outside and correct the door ring something that I didn’t discuss or need. I showed the texts between Matt and myself to show him I wasn't lying. I’m working a letter to the president of Vivint and cc it to the BBB and I’m going to tell my experience on Facebook because this is ludicrous. I ask that you put yourself in my shoes, my experience has really been a nightmare.

At each step in the process, the price kept changing and while the installer was a good installer, he really wanted to finish the job.     The tech guy doing the install was very polite & friendly & seemed knowledgeable. However the panel he was installing wasn’t connecting and tried 3 different units. Stated that the company sometimes sends back out defective units without ensuring they work properly. Not confident in the company’s equipment or quality. He was here until 1:30am. Still has to come back today to finish the job for garage doors. Bottom line if the panels really are defective don’t send techs out with them. Don’t have the techs talk about the company in such a way that you are now doubting your decision, the quality of their equipment and judgment of the people refurbishing the equipment. I’m really doubting moving forward with the solar idea now.

    To be clear had company installers set up products in my home. Installation was a challenge with garage door opener. Took not 1 not 2 but 3 different devices before it worked. Doorbell audio outside not working. Had to contact support FIRST DAY and had to manually remove device and re-add in order to work. Not something a customer should have to do right out of the gate. Highly doubting if will keep product and service after 48 hours.

    Mike from Vivint is an awesome installer. He installed the system perfectly and neatly as always and did so when the prior tenant interrupted and was aggressive and even called the police due to her eviction. But even with all of that disruption Mike didn’t allow that to disrupt the install.

    My experience assessment with Kevin, the installer for Vivint and Vivint's customer service on 4/24/2021, needs to be revised. Kevin left our house with a non-functioning security system that lost its power connection and continually drops its WiFi connection. The customer service number connects to an employee in the Philippines. They told me I would have to wait 9 days for another technician to be scheduled. I told them if my security system wasn't operating by Monday, 4/26/2021 I would cancel my contract. They told me they would call me Monday, 4/26/2021 at 8 am. We will see how Monday unfolds.
