Very professional. Lucas and Dakota did a really good job at explaining the system and service. Then Chase came in and installed our system and went over how to use it. So far I’m very pleased with Vivint so far. I already feel better.

Our experience was awesome. Nadil was an excellent salesman. Everything was installed super fast, and is very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this service to my friends who need a new security system. All around, 10/10 great service.

Luke was so informative and knowledgeable. He was very polite and considerate to what my needs were. The technician came same night and installed my panel but didn’t get to finish up with the cameras and door locks. But will return the next day. He was very considerate of the late hour and worked very efficient to get done and let me go to bed. Haha. Thank you Vivint.

The sales guy was very nice but not knowledgeable about many of his products. I appreciate that he confirmed the capabilities of his products with his technicians but what should have been at most an hour long conversation took 3 hours. The technician that came the next day was great. I felt bad because he was alone on a job that ended up taking 7 hours. To be fair the last hour and a half was spent being shuffled around tech support because at first I had access to other people's homes and businesses and then I was locked out completely. Tech support was completely useless and if it wasn't for the technician figuring out a workaround with his manager my system would have been completely useless. The hard work of the lone technician is the only reason for having 2 stars instead of one.

I had a wonderful time with Zack **, our sales representative. He explained all about Vivint's security systems and made an excellent match with our needs. I found the equipment to be superior in quality and the install was quick! I had the need to call in to ask some additional questions and, once again, was bowled over by the excellent and professional customer service! Though Vivint is not the least expensive security provider out there, I believe it is worth every penny!

The sales, customer service and the installation was exceptional. The staff introduced their product in a timely manner and with expertise. They were very pleasant while doing their job, even though we had young kids in the house for a time. I would recommend this company to everyone I meet.

To start, Tyler was amazing. He did a great job at explaining the process from start to finish. He was able answer all of my questions from the agreement to the equipment as well as installation. He was extremely professional and respectful. Speaking of installation, let’s talk about the fact that Brian (installation crew) was here in less than 20 min of me signing my agreement to start the installation process! No wait time. None! Brian showed up with a smile. You can see his dedication to not only Vivint but also their customers by the way he works. He was diligent and precise. He did not leave until he was certain he had proper placement and connectivity.
I made a comment about how fast they showed up and his response was “we provide that Jimmy John’s service”, FREAKY FAST! Lol… Coming from customer service as a manager and a team environment I was very impressed with not only their response time but also with how well they all worked together. It really says a lot about Vivint as a company. All in all I give Vivint and their employees 5 stars. No **, no wait time, reasonably priced, and less stress. What more could you ask for?!

From the time the salesman arrived till the set up was completed only 3 hours went by. Although we weren't expecting immediate setup that evening, it was nice to have it ready to go right away. The system is very easy to operate as well.

I had an installation done 5/25 and I'm very happy. The installers were professional and cleaned up after themselves. They explained everything clearly and I never felt rushed when answering questions. Eric, my sales guy was awesome. Even though he was selling me a system he was very personable and didn't pressure me into buying more than I needed. The team as a whole was wonderful to work with.

The system and outdoor camera is really good. I currently have Brinks. But Vivint has updated security system. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Keypad is totally updated than the one I currently had. Camera has a great view with a deter option to scare intruders.

Was told by my sales guy I was not going to be locked into a contract and turns out I’m in a 5 year contract!! Installers showed up and stayed late even though I told sales guy to have it done the next morning, he sent them that night anyways. They forgot to connect 3 devices to the panel and Vivint technical support is a joke. If I wasn’t past the 3 day return period I would send all this junk back. I regret setting anything up thru vivint. I was lied to from the start

The technician was prompt, personable, thorough and attentive during the installation. He walked me through what he was doing, why he was choosing certain locations and making recommendations, and then ultimately system usage. It took less time than initially quoted and the technician was very mindful of any drilling or other noise as I was working while he was here.

I certainly didn’t feel trapped or forced into doing anything, and the tech was good about being flexible with the package being installed at my property. A friend who used to install for Vivint told me that my techs work was really good. And I am definitely enjoying using the system. I purchased it for use in my short term rental.

I purchased this system believing that it was more secure that the system I previously had. Was told that someone would come out and discuss the system and service but instead techs came to install. I had to call after they left because the door would not lock.

I never would have got this system if it wasn’t for Logan **! He stopped by my door to let us know what he was doing and was not pushy at all. He has a great personality and gave us what we needed! Tommy was over the top helpful. Professional. Explained everything. Beyond professional and all I had to do was tell him what I wanted and he said he would come back if needed. Can’t tell yet. So far we had an error message for the front door sensor. We haven’t had the system long enough to review. Staff was pleasant, helpful and efficient. We like that we can see who is at the front door.

Very professional and experienced in what they do. Made sure you understand how everything works and how to get ahold of them if something goes wrong. Installed on same day we signed up and working. Had them put cameras and security locks on all the windows door cameras on the doors. I would highly recommend.

My husband wanted a system. I didn't want the extra bill so I'm still on the fence. Of course Caleb was patient as I am working from home and was at work during this process. He asked us for follow up throughout the process. I'm more hands on so I will definitely be using the system during this period to see if it is actually what we need.

My installer very very good. He got all my services up and running in no time. Explained how to set up and use them clearly. The cameras are clear and set perfectly. The only thing is that it's slow on Android phones but once it's up it's good.

Cody provided one of the quickest installs ever, and it was like 10 o clock at night, usually you have to wait for normal business hours to get things done. I literally said I’ll pay the 1000 bucks whatever, was hooked up like 45 minutes after that. System works great.

After almost three hours on three phone with three different agents and transfers to different with different guidance I finally hope I successfully canceled my contract within three business days. Nice system but equipment is just too expensive and I did not like a five year contract.

Salesman stated that as long as we advertised with the Vivint sign and his picture on Facebook then the equipment would be free. The technician didn’t check his work before he left and the thermostat didn’t work and cycled our air conditioning unit on and off every thirty seconds and the door locks didn’t function properly. Got the run around and the phone with the cancellation department after waiting hours on hold, being transferred numerous times and your service department couldn’t figure out how to fix the thermostat.

I'm very happy with Vivint security system. The cameras have a great clear view of the entire yard. It's live, records, bell lets you to speak and hear. For me it's a peace of mind, knowing that my doggy children are safe.

It has taken 2.5 months to handle my transfer. I have spoken with countless representatives over the phone and been led in circles. What type of company takes more than a week to create an account??? Not even a credit check, just creating my contact card. Not only that, but the previous home owner has continued to be charged and have access to my home security during the last 2.5 months!!!! CRAZY! The in-person techs are amazing and really try to help!

They explain the service contact to me. What I like best is that it continues to run for the whole month you can rewind it back to check. The installation was quick he was polite courteous explain everything to you showed you how to put it in your phone. Explain the board to you and how to use it. He was Prompt handle his business in a timely manner, I recommend it my friend which she had her installed the next day.

Nobody has showed up to finish installing the equipment and I am wanted to purchase additional equipment and services but nobody will return my calls or show up. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. The customer service line is even worse.

Security alarm with doorbell camera on front door and camera on back installed and downloaded to my iPhone which I can control. That makes it very convenient for me and makes me feel safe to know the system is able to contact police, fire & ambulance.

I Changed service from ADT. The service was not what I was told nor was the cost. I didn't have that same experience here. Installer was great. The phone representative was very accommodating. Sales rep was not clear on amount of money systems cost! Sales rep was not very good at explaining what all the cost was going to be that I was actually getting a line of credit to buy a system. He kept references to paying for two cell phones but wasn’t really explaining I was paying money like buying two phones! Technician was fantastic he was great explaining everything! Did a good job fixed my main system to work more efficient. I was very happy with his work!

Overall a good experience. The only issue, I was told there would not be an activation fee, and there ended up being an activation fee. I think the different departments need to communicate that a little better. I really liked the way they walked you through use of the keypad.

Great deal and great system. Works with/links to garage door, thermostat, doors all to your phone along with camera and doorbell camera. Plus you can review the footage up to 30 days back. Also very affordable for what you receive even if you do not want everything for example if you know just want a doorbell camera.

System installed looks great! Lots of cameras and security features were installed. Tech helped us set everything up and explained everything in detail. He explained what he was doing which was helpful. The only bad thing was that it took all day to install the system.

Also stated if needed any assistance could contact him. Brandon did the installation. Also very professional and friendly. Gave suggestions on where to install the system and accessories but you had final say. Made sure everything was working. Showed steps to set up and where to add additional steps. Generally was very pleased with the installment and the installers explanation of what he had to accomplish. On the original contract I requested an outdoor camera. Per the installer it would have the same affect as installing an indoor camera on a window sill. Also would require more work to install the outside camera, So he reduced the price for the indoor camera. Only problem is you are looking through possible dirty windows and screens. Not a clear picture. On 5/24/21 I am calling Vivint to see lf this can be changed.

I took over the system from the previous homeowner, the technician Brandon was great! He was friendly, on time and very professional. The thing that was a bummer was that there was some kind of update that needed to happen and it took forever! Poor Brandon did everything he could talking to tech support to try and figure out what the hold up was, but we just had to wait it out. Brandon was at my house for almost five hours and at least two of those were because things weren’t syncing.

I am absolutely in love with my new security system especially the doorbell camera. Most importantly I loved my technician Jeff. He went through every detail and made sure I understood everything! I truly love everything about my new Vivint wireless system. Even the husband (Ryan) & wife team of installers were great! It’s an investment worth having for peace of mind! Having the app option right on my phone, in addition to, the keypad is amazing, quick, & convenient. The doorbell camera is my favorite feature and rightfully so for so many reasons. Also, being able to add other users to the system like your adult children is a major plus! You can’t put a price on safety in your own home! I would highly recommend Vivint!

I had such a horrible experience from start to finish.. James my sales clerk was only concerned about getting a sale and so he lied about final documentation to be signed at installation, when told about how dissatisfied I was and I tried to explain to him the reason for me being very unhappy with the services I received, he YELLED at me stating "I just want to know why you're thinking about canceling." He never mentioned that I need to fill out a credit application after the technician arrive prior to installation.
Secondly Ireland was so disrespectful stating that there is no truth to my experience for the past six years as a client with Vivint when I tried to explain to her the policy, procedures and services that I grew accustomed to over the years...She blatantly insinuated that I was lying. The technicians that arrived were the worst ever, they all acted as if they were giving me something for free and I should honor their services. Forget it. I was never able to speak to any field supervisor in regards to the technician's behavior.
The first gentleman that called me to do the survey, he will officially put vivint out of business in the coming years. The only reason I went through with installation is one because my credit was already pulled, and two Holly and Jen in the installation department provided excellent service and made me feel as if my business was appreciated.
I will NEVER recommend Vivint to anyone, the service is horrible, they need a new set of technicians with manners and respect, sales representatives with good customer service skills and respect. Forget it. The last Technician that showed up named Johnney made it very clear that he told me two many times how to add my second vivint acct to my existing profile and decided that he could not help me anymore. Instead he referred me to customer service. I could write a book and the horrible experience I encountered. I will let other consumers know so they can make a constructive decision when choosing an alarm company...Never again..

All personal we're very knowledgeable and proficient in their jobs. I will recommend to friends and family. The equipment install did not take as long as I thought it would. The installers cleaned and filled every hole. Vivint was not new to me. The equipment installed appears to be more updated.

Vivint has come a long way since 2011, and in the process, we left ADT for Vivint. Upgraded multiple aspects of our home security and bought out our contract as well. We received two cameras, a garage door opener and an automatic door lock. Thanks Vivint!!

Installer was very helpful in letting me know the procedure and basic instructions. As of this day, I’m Not happy with the inconsistencies of buffering and at this time I am unable to get views from the cameras also unable to view activity.

Service representative came by and talked me into buying this service. He promised the installation would be quick and fast. The installation tech arrived quickly, installed part of the package and promised to be back later. No service tech has arrived or called.

The equipment seems great but the installers have not yet figured out how to connect all with wifi and we are not yet sure if the existing window and door sensors will work with the systems. If we have to pay for replacement sensors in all of them I will probably not accept the system. I look forward to using the system if it can be installed!

The sales person who approached us knew we had a garage sale in progress and chose to overrun my family to do a 2 to 3 hour presentation. My adult Autistic daughter was left to manage. He was redundant, arrogant and would not just leave even when we agreed. He used MY PHONE to take a selfie and posted this to my FB without my consent. He took over!! My garage door opener will not work as well as my key code opener. When I ask about that, as he approached me the next day when I was not even out of my car, he said "IT SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM". And then he asked me to give him more neighbors to troll! I had not even gotten into my house after picking up my daughter after her 1st day of work!!! Need my garage door opener working and get the aggressive salesperson duly cited and retrained!

The young man who was the sales representative for Vivint was a very pleasant and helpful person. He tried his best to get answers to any questions I had and worked to get technicians to my house as soon as possible. I am disappointed that the control panel will not allow one to open the garage door when leaving home. It must be done by phone app. Also, there is not sign available to indicate that I have a security system which I am told helps deter people from trying to burglarize a home.

The install guys were fantastic. However, after less than 24 hrs, I received a notification by flood censor and cameras stopped responding to the panel and to reset it. The panel would not reset and I had to leave for work. When I got to work, the doorbell camera would not work either. I called Customer Service on my brochure and the number was not in service!!!! I had to google the correct phone number and after being transferred to 3 different people, I told them I was over it and wanted to cancel my service. Then they told me the cancellation dept was closed, they only have 24/7 tech support which is not what is advertised.
The next day my smoke detector started beeping and would not turn off, then it set off the alarm. They called through the panel and the panel disconnected me once they put me on hold to transfer me again.... I called back and they told me they would send a new smoke detector but it was still beeping... I told them to cancel my service again, 3 transfers later after trying to keep me a customer, I was told I had to email the cancel request in. Unbelievable! It took over 72 hrs for them to confirm my cancellation but they did do it and remove the hardware. Now I have holes all over my house and my original Ring Doorbell was not re-installed. Other than the install guys, the entire process was terrible, felt like a scam and I do not recommend this company.

I’ve only had the security system for a week and a half, so I’m still learning. However, I can say that the person who installed the system was not only skilled and professional, he was patient, helpful and kind. He arrived when he said he would. He made the installation look easy, he explained the equipment and taught me how to use it and gave me his personal number to call, in case I needed help. After he was finished with the installation and getting ready to leave, I appreciated hearing that I had three full days to try out the system, and if I decided it was not for me, he would come back and take it over and cancel my contract with no problem or hassle.

Customer service was very helpful on Getting me back up and running on my doorbell camera. We did have difficulties when first setting up system due to being transferred to the Philippines or India where the operators do not speak fluent English. Sales representative was very personable and not pushy. Installation techs were prompt, efficient and mostly did a good job. My minor quibbles are that the empty boxes for the equipment installed were left behind, rather than using the new batteries provided with the door locks the old batteries were transferred, and that holes were drilled into my walls without asking or explaining.

The first tech that came out was very nice and did a great job. My system messed up that same night. I called the 800# and the rep I spoke with that night was very rude. They set me up with a tech for the end of the week to come fix my cameras that were not working. Now 20 mins before scheduled time the tech cancels. I rearranged my schedule today for someone to come out.

Courtney, our installer, worked late and knocked out the install and cleaned up to where you’d never know he was here. He was fast, thorough and extremely accommodating in the time we scheduled. Joshua, our sales rep, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and extremely nice, not pushy whatsoever and really was excited about the system and helped us pick the best fit for our home. He was great! A+ Five Star rating from sale to install completion.

My sales rep Felix was very deceiving. He over charged me, said he would talk to me about any issue I had with Vivint, and that he would respond to my texts or phone calls. All lies!!!! The cameras malfunctioned and I left text messages and voicemails and he did not get back to me. I cancelled the next day!

The service agent and the techs were great. They were professional and friendly, I would recommend Vivint to my family and friends. I like my new service and feel safe when I’m home and away. I definitely like my doorbell.

Installer was very patient showing me the step of the monitor system, very friendly, very professional and acknowledged the system is very easy to manage. 4K monitor is very clear. The door camera is very sensitive to movement. Overall I love the install.

I had an excellent experience dealing with all of the staff. Starting with Lindsay in Utah to the two gentlemen who installed the equipment. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I even called customer service to ask a question and she was kind and easily answered my questions.

Chloe explained how everything works in terms of payment. She was able to tell me how the security of my home would be improved and what Vivint offered that the ring did not. The team that came into my home were efficient and quick. They answered all of my questions. They followed recommendations for placement of the equipment.

I was happy from the start with Jose the sales representative. Well-spoken and explained everything from beginning to end about home security systems. The technician John was also very good and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to set up home security systems.

Salesman wrote in his bid that I would get two smart locks ("How many doors do you have sir with numbered entry?"). 2 I said, him OK. I’m interested in a smart thermostat. Salesman says only $2 more/month. Salesman gave me a 30-day risk free trial. 5 days later a bill of $31. Plus the install tech drilled holes in my door, but didn’t install the door sensor.

The customer service reps and installation techs were great. They were all very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. They did their very best to make sure my elderly mother fully understood the product they were selling her and how to use it. Very helpful gentleman.

The technician was unprepared and didn't bring all I requested (ex didn’t bring window or sliding glass door equipment and didn’t bring the tilting piece for my doorbell) and left a mess when his vacuum died. When trying to reschedule I spent over an hour and a half being transferred before I got any help. Got disconnected during that time and felt no one was truly helping me.

Updated on 07/13/2021: This is the WORST customer service based company I have EVER worked with. I purchased a system from them through one of their door to door salesman. In the matter of two days he managed to create 2 different accounts for my home...one in my name which was to be a self-install kit which I paid over $300.00 for with my bank card that was to be delivered within 3-5 days. There was a lot of time spent with him and he "accidentally" set the first account up in my son's name. My son was only supposed to be listed as a person allowed access as he lives here. Then after a lot more time, a lot more issues, some of my own, I didn't get the kit within a week so I called the company to verify for sure he was an employee and that my info was safe. He was a contractor with the company, but the first error that came up was that the house was still listed under my son. So I changed that immediately, or so I thought.
The people on the phone said no equipment had been ordered. So I checked my bank account again and they had not deducted my card yet either. So I called the seller/contractor which took a few calls...he "researched" the paperwork and said for some reason the paperwork didn't go through. I needed to sign them again. So I did, then immediately checked my bank and they deducted for the kit immediately. The kit came in three days! Then came the nightmare!!!
Their self install videos are a joke...their customer service people on the phone who " tried" to help me sounded like I was a complete idiot, which I am not. So I called the contractor back, like he said because he said if I had any problems he would come help me...that didn't happen. He said he could send a tech out hopefully that day he would call me back...6 hours later I got hold of him...he scheduled a tech the next day...another $125.00 of course, but billed. Finally the tech came, spent 6 hours here. Drilled 2 holes into my house, leaving them exposed to the outside by the way no covers or filler, caulk anything, switched out all the equipment at least twice. When he left the equipment was working, but I still could not use the app on my phone...so if I left my home what good is it?
Then in the meantime, I discover after numerous calls and another 2 techs that the original account had been set up in my son's name had also been set up with a LOAN with a financial institution IN my son's name...without his permission...his credit had been ran...and now he was being held responsible for the equipment I had originally paid for...I admit Vivint had refunded my money by this time...under my impression that a loan had been set up in my name...for me to make payments on. So I had spent the original money on other needs by this time. So we called the Financial institution and explained the situation, and asked them to just put the loan in my name as it should have been in the first place...they wouldn't do it. They were holding him responsible.
In the meantime my son made a claim of the fraudulent account and the 2 legitimate credit cards he did have contacted him and made him cut up his cards, close his accounts and they would not offer him any more credit till the fraudulent activity was taken care of or ever!!! Ruined his good credit overnight! I even got their (Vivint) corporate office involved and their response to me was "Pay off the loan. We gave you back the money!!!!" Mind you I still did not have a complete security system working a month later at this point! Boy was I mad!!!! I told them they had better close that account out, come get their system at no charge to me, and fix my damage... That was what FINALLY happened... but what a nightmare!!! My son's credit is still damaged, I don't even have a doorbell because through the process of trying to install theirs mine was broken. No security system...YET there will be one but from one of their competitors for sure!!!
Original Review: Just started working with this company less than a month ago, but still do not have an up and running system...waiting for a tech to help with installation gone wrong. Very stressful is an understatement. Can't have a working service without working equipment. A lot of paperwork and time but no service.

Company lied multiple times about cancelation policies for active duty military. More than one representative sprouted out false information. I have no respect for any company who would do this to the men and women who risk their lives every day and who fight for our country.
