    I'm not satisfy with the installation of the equipment. The tech did not take of the old sensors, before he put new sensors on the doors. Two doors are address wrong when you open the doors. The sensor on the front window is to large, it effects locking and opening the window. Plus, he wouldn't remove the old security box. A better job could have been done.

On a personal note, their contracted technicians show up when I’m not home to say they’re working on my system. They send different techs. Never the same one. I’ve had at least 5-7 different ones plus some cheap cameras and multi - systems I don’t need. It’s a mess. Just bills. They take advantage of who doesn’t know anything to upsell.     I switched to Vivint from ADT. The sales man promised to help with the cash out from ADT and I never heard back from him, if you go please have it on paper or recording. After the salesman the technician was unsure of what to install so we had to call the salesman. He left at 2 AM with a lot unfinished then did not show up the next day.. Then was here late again!!!! We still don’t know how to operate the system. They only gave us one sign and no window stickers.. more than a month after I find out I needed a DVR for 24/7 recording. The salesman told me we could all see it through the app due to it being a smart device. It has been nothing but lies and a mess!

    So I know I agreed to a late install. They didn't get done till about 1: 30am and I agreed with that. That part was fine but the mess that they left behind if they would have at least cleaned up their mess instead of leaving it for me to clean up. I didn't find that to be very professional and the fact that they drill two holes in my wall because they made a mistake and didn't patch it I didn't find that to be professional as well.

I had been drinking a few glasses of Prosecco and he and his three friends somehow talked me into it.     Since installing the system the doorbell has not worked. I have called customer service twice o my to remain on hold for several minutes. I am not happy with the system at all. I would like to return the system. The monthly fee is too much to pay for something that doesn’t work properly. I have read other complaints with the same issue.

    Installers didn't wear masks even after being told to do so on a speaker call to a supervisor. Installers left a mess of wood shavings and drywall dust, as well as plastic garbage wherever they worked. Installers left a hole in the exterior of the house where the old doorbell had been and mounted the new doorbell facing our next door neighbor rather than the front of the house. Other than a photo ID badge, Installers wore no uniform-type clothing (polo shirt, etc) representing your company and appeared very unprofessional. The appearance and demeanor of the Installers left me feeling that Vivint is a fly-by-night organization.

    Our installer was fantastic. The company is not. Originally I was overcharged for several times. I spent 30 minutes in the middle of a busy workday to deal with it. Another call asking for an itemized Bill. Apparently only general bills are provided. Nothing is wireless and it uses almost all of our WiFi. Every time I open a door the whole entire house hears it. Nobody can sleep in anymore. I hate the system and want it gone. You are better with going with just about anything else. DO NOT USE VIVINT, NO!!!
