I came into this process with high expectations after reading reviews and seeing firsthand how a family member's installation went. I specially asked for the same technician but was told it wasn't possible. They assured me that they would have their best installer come to my home. Long story short it was a pretty sloppy install. I'm not really mad at the installer since everyone has to start somewhere. He definitely should have had another person working with him. I am more upset about the sales process assuring me that they will have their best tech come out to my house. Afterwards they did nothing to rectify the situation. Typical sales cycle. I do believe it's a good product but the sales process and installation definitely overshadows that. We are paying a lot for this equipment and I just moved into my brand new house. I don't expect wire to be ran like the attached image. Overall I wouldn't recommend this service.

Polite, helpful, knowledgeable. Installer answered all questions. Installer was on time, prepared with extra equipment and was instrumental in helping me create the perfect system for my house and needs. He made time to go through all of the information and how to use the system.

So far I am very satisfied with my services. Tyler was very straightforward about the service I would be getting, and the security system is living up to all that they said it would. I have had no complications and my home feels much safer, thank you!

Of course I couldn't be there to watch the install happen, but my wife did feel as though between the staff on the phone and our tech that came out everything was outstanding from top to bottom. Everything is set up just the way we want it.

Not only quality equipment but highly knowledgeable tech. The tech came in, explained what I didn’t need and what I should have. He assisted in getting my MyQ garage door to work and guided me through the entire setup process.

Great service from my technician Justin and all the people at Vivint and my contact Tyler as well. Everything looks great and I look forward to using vivint as I have heard great things about them. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

In view of someone very reticent of making the change to a smart security system, the steps were painless and quick. The tech performed the setup, working through any problems. I feel safer already given the turmoil post Covid. I would recommend this company.

After having another alarm system for over 20 years without any upgrades made available it is nice to have a new current system. Both salesman and technical installer were highly professional. I cannot review the system since it was only installed today. Only time will tell however, I’m confident that I will have no concerns. Thanks.

Installation was super smooth. Octavio is top-notch. Great job!!!!! I couldn’t have been more impressed with how easy everything was. In no time my entire house was set up. AMAZING JOB!!! I thought it would be a lot harder to set up in an old house but Octavio was setting up in no time with zero issues.

Came when they said they would and quickly installed. Very easy to use the program. Takes no time at all, downloaded the app to my phone and ready to go. Fees were reasonable and financing was quick. Works for me!

Sales person was polite, courteous and informative. The technician who installed the system was thoroughly knowledgeable, polite and explained in detail the system and the various functions The sales person stopped by the following day to make sure I was satisfied and if I had any questions. I would recommend Vivint to my friends.

Although our initial introduction was a bit late at night, they did find us home. We are replacing Brinks. We’ll see how this goes. The tech that installed was courteous and respectful, taking his time to walk me through the panel, the instructions for use, and answering questions. Paisley was very personable when she introduced us to the options, benefits, & how she has trust in the company and its services.

Seth was a very helpful and knowledgeable technician who did a great job. We are very pleased with our new system. The equipment is very easy to use. Intuitive. Downloading the app onto our mobile phones was very easy to do.

From Sales person to installation technician my experience has been awesome. Everything was installed in a few hours and the technician did a great job teaching me how to work the system. Now I have access to my system wherever I go from my iPhone. Very professional and efficient. Outstanding job!

We have not received a proper billing to make monthly payments. We'd like to have it set up to come out of our checking account monthly and to know the day of the month it will come out. We like to pay our bills in a timely basis.

So far, had GREAT experience with Vivint. Started with salesperson, very polite...answered all questions & accepted "NO" when I did not want all the bells & whistles. Both of the install guys were very polite & walked me thru the system & answered all questions.

The installer was such a nice guy and helpful with understanding every little piece. I really appreciate it all his help. The system is really easy to understand and easy to add users and to learn how it works. I can also add additional pieces in the future which is really nice.

Tyler and Phil were our installation technicians on Saturday, July 24th, 2021. They were professional, courteous and efficient. Also, they explained our new system. We are very satisfied and look forward to many years of excellent customer service from Vivint.

We were very satisfied with Ryan and Cooper. They were both very knowledgeable and very clean during and after the installation process. They were both very patient while working with us and teaching us how the program works. They were a pleasure.

All of the employees were great to speak with. They educated me on the product and made me feel very open to select the products and feel very safe.. I love everything about the items I selected and will feel very safe in my home.

The young man that installed the equipment was very knowledgeable, polite and quick. I would recommend them to anyone. I would give him a 10 out of 10. Vivint needs more technicians like him. They also need more salesmen like Preston that sold the equipment. We are very satisfied with everything.

Ben came out to install our system. He did an amazing job and we love the security system. I would 100% recommend using Vivint. I did a ton of research and Vivint is definitely the highest rated. The price of their system is very reasonable.

I am very happy with my service and installation minus the fact that I have to wait for all of my indoor cameras to be mailed to me. It would have been nice to have been told this during when I was ordering on the phone. I am paying now for all my equipment even though I don't have all my equipment yet. That is frustrating!

Our installer was friendly and helpful about the installation process. He explained the function of every alarm component that was being added to our new system. He explained how to operate the entire system and how to handle every possible situation. We couldn’t be more pleased!

Young man was persistent but personable. I wasn’t interested at first but he pointed out the benefits of a home security system and how easy it was to use. Thinking of the car break-ins and vandalism in the neighborhood convinced me.

Installer did a great job all the way around... I like the attention to detail and even though, I was being kept from my birthday dinner, he took the time to explain the panel features and how to log in and out of the panel. He also was thoughtful and said he was sorry for being so long getting everything installed and me being late for my dinner out. I will advise those who are looking for a security system to use Vivint smart home.

I found these two men were very nice. Did their job and cleaned up after themselves and I would recommend your service and thank you, they also stayed. Made sure I understood everything on the panel. After a failed initial appointment that went horribly wrong (Cancelled a trip out of town to wait a week for an 8:00 AM appointment. Received a call at 10:30 AM that they would have to reschedule.) I gave Vivint another try. The technician was excellent, on time, knowledgeable, patient and thorough.

Alex did great installing my equipment. I feel secure in my home and when we are out of our home. He answered all of my questions and listen as I voiced my concerns. When I did not have the knowledge he educated me on the subject. He also help me putting the app on my phone.

We are pleased with our system. Eli knocked on my door and I usually don’t entertain solicitors. However, I immediately saw value in his offer and system. The install was immediate too! Raul made sure we understood our system before leaving. Very impressive!

Marc ** was very good & we will try to learn the system. It’s a bit complicated right now & I don’t appreciate being told every time a door opens or closes. I wish I could have it do it only during certain times. I’d like to shut off the deter thing every time someone gets near. Maybe it’ll get better later.

We just had Vivint install a system in our new home in Portland - we have them in our current house already and love the equipment and customer service so much wanted them in our new house too. Jesse the installer did an excellent job getting the system together, communicating what he was doing along the way, and even helped fix an internet issue so that we could get our Vivint cameras working. Painless install, new system works great, and every Vivint rep we spoke with along the way was professional, friendly, and helped answer all of our questions. Wouldn’t choose any other company out there for our home security.

I’m happy with the install, and feel much safer now! Also have the camera doorbell and water detector in the basement... Protection all around..

Very professional… price was great. Zach our sales rep is awesome our install was quick and easy. They were very detailed and descriptive. Honest, upfront with everything. The next day they even came back to see how the system was.

Installer was very nice. Mostly did a great job. I thought that we were going to have our smart thermostats installed as well as a smart door lock but that's not the case. In addition to that, I was left with a 1.5 inch hold in my patio where the old cameras were removed. We have rodents and bees that would have full access to our patio. Installer should have sealed that area or never removed a camera that's going to leave a hole for the outside elements to come into the attic. I need that fixed as soon as possible.

It all went great, I am very happy with the way it went. I would recommend this to everyone who I know. I think this is one best experience that I had in many years. I feel this was one of the best choices that I have done in years.

I have a great experience with Vivint. Starting from getting the quotation to the actual installation. James is very helpful with regards to my needs as a homeowner to what I need to accomplish. Jendy was on time during the install. She updates me from time to time with regards to the installation. And walk through us after to make sure we know how to use our new system. We are happy with our new system.

I have a friend who had Vivint and while living with her I got an up close and personal demonstration of the reliability, quality, and speed of their service. When I was ready to get my own security system, I did a search on the internet and Vivint is consistently a top consumer choice. Why would I choose anyone else? Also, the gentleman who helped me, Alex, was professional, and polite, but also personable. I didn't feel like I was talking to a robot. I'm happy and can't wait to install my system.

Install was smooth, installer showed up during install window, was friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly rectified an issue with the length of contract which I appreciate. He did a great job explaining system. Only critique is he needs to do a better job on cleaning up after install.

The salesman was friendly and very helpful. He explained everything clearly and in detail. He provided me all of the options. The tech who installed the system did an excellent job and went over the system with me in detail. Everything was superb.

There is very little information on the website about the very high cost of this system and now I understand why that is. I should have known that when it requires financing approval that it was too high. The cost is spread over 60months so it doesn’t appear high when give on a month to month basis. Over $3k for the system ON TOP of the monthly cost is not competitive and far more than I am willing to pay.

Sales- Requested fire connection into system. It was not on the install order and I was not told that the equipment was on back order. The installation went very well, until the very end. Eric the installation manager was very impatient, as he had another job to complete and it was 4:30. Should not book your installs, so close together to prevent frustration and cause your installer to rush through the instructions. The stupid iPad locker driver crap is a real turn off for the customer! It is a waste of time!!! I have to get on technical support and fix the system to my phone, as it missed putting in my password twice to secure it. I must wait 24 hrs and waste my time to complete, what should have been done yesterday!!!

I really enjoyed the relaxed and friendly staff with Vivint. The rep that came to my house was very efficient and so easy to talk to. They were also very prompt at installing my equipment same day! The installation went smoothly and he was very nice we talked and probably delayed some work but it was a very nice process and the setup was very easy and this is super easy to use! I would recommend this to anyone that asks.

Door lock didn’t fit on our door so after install started we were told we couldn’t get it… not a huge fan of their sales tactics… pricing was not up front. Felt like a used car salesman experience. We are staying with them because we paid for it and it’s a good product… not super thrilled with the service so far.

The technician arrived promptly. He was also patient as we made it home to meet him. The technician was very thorough in explaining each device. The camera was placed exactly where we requested it to be. Codes were secured and tested before the technician left. Ring was also tested to ensure that it worked properly.

The activation for my home security went great and I was extremely satisfied with the experience, specifically the app and the abilities it possesses. Mr. **, the technician, was very helpful and I will definitely recommend this to many others.

Doorbell camera has been offline since tech left. Camera inside doesn’t text me when motion. Called customer service and they expected me to spend an hour on the phone to troubleshoot. Told me there’s a screw missing on the doorbell and they will sent to me - then I can call again so they can waste more of my time. I want a technician to install it correctly or I will put a stop payment on my check and send back the equipment I paid over 1000$ for.

The system is brand new and I will need to have more experience to fairly rate it. I’ve traded my previous system on the strength of more coverage area and security for less. I’m looking forward to the full experience.

Great, friendly employees. Both sales and install, knowledgeable about equipment and policies. Both employees worked around our schedules. Installer called with updates on arrival time… Salesperson even returned at a time more convenient for our schedule to discuss our needs. Installer was very knowledgeable and courteous when teaches us how to use the products purchased.

Ema ** was excellent explaining the Vivint security product and how much sense it made to replace our ADT dinosaur system. It was an easy decision to make with her knowledge of the system, not to mention her sweet personality. System installation was also done with excellence by Carlos **. He knows the product inside and out, and made sure we understood everything before he left. So far, we are very impressed with this company!

It's nice to see who is at your door before you answer it. Even though we have dogs, it's still a safer feeling. So many fake salespeople nowadays and crime. It's nice to have the added security. We have a grandbaby on the way, so just one more way to feel protected.

It has only been a day since the smart home system was installed but so far it has been very user-friendly. The technicians were friendly and worked on separate projects to speed up the install process. Sales rep even stopped by right after the techs were finished with set up to ensure everything was to satisfaction.

Although I don’t have that same experience with my installer. He seemed not to have the professionalism necessary to install the system. He also didn’t clean up after his install and left my gate open. As a result my dog was able to escape my backyard!!!

Just had a Vivint system installed recently. Installer was on time and very knowledgeable. Explained the system in detail and answered all our questions. Highly recommended system and service. If you are in the market for an alarm system and or smart home You can’t go wrong.

Technician was skilled and polite and finished the job to my satisfaction and when I had to reach out to customer service phone calls were answered promptly. Installation time was pushed back further than I expected but it was fine and technician called me and informed me ahead of time.

The only problem I had was that it was late when the technician came, but it was after 7pm when I signed up for it. Yes I would recommend a friend in the future. All of my friends & family have this system.

Initially had many alerts that batteries needed changing. The technicians were hard working, polite and stuck with me. They figured out the problem was with a old piece from prior company. They replaced it and haven't had any problems with it since.

Install was great. Installer was great and very knowledgeable. Had a great personality and demeanor. Clean up after himself and ensured that his mess that was made during install was complete. Will recommend again. This is getting old rather quickly.

Robby contacted me prior to arrival allowing me extra time to prepare for his visit. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable about system. We discussed installation and location for each device. Upon completion Robby reviewed each device and ensured I understood how to use and was competent on both app and panel.

The Vivint rep, Manny presented himself as being associated with ADT and wanted to talk to us about upgrading our panel. After all was agreed to and several days later we find out that Vivint is in fact a totally different company. Now we are obligated to you.

The installation was ok, however, there were times I had to assert on where items must go, slow the tech down to prevent unnecessary damages and some of the work is not as clean as I would expect, exposed cable for hard wired cameras and caulking. Additionally they arrived without face mask or shoe coverings so I had to request they return with face coverings and remove their shoes while in my home. Overall the installation was ok but the tech and trainee could have provided a better experience.

Received an immediate call once out in request for quote! Was able to get questions asked and date set up for install within minutes. Tech kept us in contact with his ETA and stayed until everything was set up. Only giving 4 stars just because he left without telling us how to combine our apps with our tablet, but he besides that did a great job!

I haven't had this long enough but from what I have been told, yes I would recommend it. Gabriel was very informative and courteous. Quick installment. She took her time to get me set up. Gabe came back next day and made sure all was running smoothly.

So far I am limiting my Vivint set up, although I have only had it for a couple of hours. Install was pain free and the system seems to be pretty user friendly so far. I will have to see how it continues to work as I have the system installed longer.

The installer who came today was great! Dustin ** from Minot, ND. He did the impossible. He salvaged your reputation with me. A true professional. Brenn ** in Utah is also a champion. You're lucky to have them. However, since initial contact on May 25, your Williston, ND installer has no showed me three times. Three days of making/changing plans around this install only to be stood up. Three times!! No phone call or text. Nothing!! The most ridiculous customer service mess I've ever experienced in my 65 years.

I do like the quality footage of the cameras. Also, I like the ease in which I am able to arm and disarm the system. The app on my phone is quite manageable where I don’t have to log on every time I want to check my cameras.

It was late into the evening, but we decided to use the system for 30 days. Luis came and put the panel in where we wanted it. Cameras, lock and window detectors (for breakage) were put in place. Holes drilled as needed. We like it and use it daily. Good product so far.

Quincy ** came out and installed a camera for us, and a garage door opener, and got the entire existing system in the house up and running quickly and easily. He was extremely friendly and easy to talk to, and thoroughly knowledgeable about any and all questions I had and answered them with ease. Because of that I’m looking into the auto insurance offered by Vivint as well. I literally could not have hoped for a smoother or easier transition into this security system and it is all because of Quincy doing his job with the utmost perfection and professionalism. I rate him 12 out of 10 stars.
