Bishop was our sales rep for our area, he was very knowledgeable and great to talk to! He is less of a salesman and more of a take care of the needs and wants of the homeowner. 5 stars goes to him For being very personable and having outstanding customer service! The technician Mike was very good at what he does. Thank you for the excellent experience!

Jackson was very polite and helpful in explaining the application process and the Vivint experience. He even came back to check on the installation of the equipment. Bob did a great job of installing the Vivint equipment and explaining how to use it. Thank you!!

Frank was very knowledgeable of the equipment and how to install it. He answered all of our questions and showed us how to operate the system. Only flaw was him having to make a 60 mile round trip for equipment which caused him to be late for our appointment, which probably was not his fault.

I highly recommend Vivint. I enjoyed the entire process. The sales person was really good at explaining everything and the techs were very professional and even offered to sweep some of the mess for me. The system is really easy to use and I can now sleep in peace knowing my property is secure.

I like it, the equipment seems to be top notch, clear images, sales person and installer did good. I would recommend Vivint to my friends and my family. It definitely makes your home more secure. Feel good about leaving home knowing our house is secure.

Install Tech showed up an hour later than he was scheduled to be here. Salesperson did text to say he was going to show up late but he was still later than I was told he was going to be here. Once he got here he went right to work, he was friendly and professional. The install couldn’t be completed and the installer had to come back the next day because he did not have all the equipment he needed to complete the job. Came back the second day on time and completed the job. Explained the system, helped get my wife’s phone hooked up and left. Less than an hour after he left the system showed I had an open window so I went hunting for the window and then learned that several windows sensors were not even working and they were not named correctly.

Overall great customer satisfaction. I was mispriced but the manager corrected the issue and gave an extra incentive. My first appointment was cancelled due to the tech calling off and the sales manager corrected that issue with a callback for a next day appointment. The tech explained the system and did his best.

The installation process was great and the technician Eric was great at explaining everything. The equipment was installed with minimal holes to the walls. The cameras were placed well and cover the area that we were hoping to cover. The home panel was placed in a convenient spot, and it is very easy to use. The app a also very easy to use. We are happy to recommend Vivint to our friends and family.

Calvin was very pleasant to work with I am enjoying my Vivint and now my kids want to join so I need Calvin to contact me. I think that's his name so if someone could please contact him and let him know I have customers for him.

To say I’m pleased with my service is an understatement! This has been the best customer service, installation, and product experience I have ever had with any security service. The cameras are extremely clear and that whistle the cameras does when someone is in the frame longer than 10 seconds is priceless! I have a pool and have always been concerned with someone falling in who can’t swim! Well with Vivint I get notifications, actual snapshots on my watch of anyone too close to the pool. LOOK AT VIVINT! Because it is in such real time it could really save someone’s life! This is so epic and absolutely necessary if you have a pool especially with kids. I have so much more comfort in my own home thanks to Vivint.

Steven and Matt were beyond good—outstanding. Steven in sales answered multiple questions in a steadfast and courteous manner. Matt was meticulous and exacting in completing the installation all the while answering questions and providing expert advice. If equipment is as good as these men we are set!!

My neighbors recently had a system installed and I was impressed enough to want one. Salesperson and technician were very professional and knowledgeable. They explained everything very well and complete system was up and running the same day. I feel much more secure now while at home and away. I don't have to go to the door or window every time I hear something downstairs.

I had my quote and service set up all in one day. :) The old sensors wouldn’t connect to the new system so they replaced them for me free of charge. Aaron was pretty nice and added a deadbolt to a door I hadn’t planned at first.

Service technician called prior to arriving on time. He provided flawless service with a cheerful professional disposition. Great job at tutorial on new system. Patient with providing return demonstrations on system. I was in the market to upgrade to a new system and the was definitely a great choice.

Somehow I got some information over the phone about pricing that was incorrect. But the tech contacted the service system and was able to help me to get all the protection I wanted as well as pricing. Everything was thoroughly explained to me.

Service was great from sales to technician. The demonstration, the tutorial, the pla, the storage and playbacks even if wires are cut, I appreciate the security it provides. Total professional experience..The team arrived after the paperwork was complete, spent less than an hour and all the equipment was installed with professionalism. Thanks guys for a good experience. We just closed on a beautiful custom home and wanted to protect it. Our home has an 8 foot tall solid Alder front door as well as an 8 foot standard painted exterior door into the garage. Usually Vivint does a 3/4" bore into doors and the jamb to hide an internal sensor in exterior doors for better aesthetics. I specifically asked about this when I ordered the install and was told they would bore it...as that is the proper way. Instead, the technician put external sensors similar to those on windows, stating that he wasn't allowed to standard bore into custom doors. But instead of using the adhesive, he drilled them into the doors...the interior face that is seen by everyone. He did not ask before doing this. He did not ask for placement. Just placed them, and put holes into the doors. So his answer to "I can't drill you custom door" where no one will see it...was to drill the custom door where EVERYONE can see it.

I was very much in need of home security mainly doorbell cams when your rep Clay showed up with exact packaged I needed with a great price. Installation was done the same day. The technician was very fast and knowledgeable about his craft. I am very pleased and overall relieved now that I have a reliable one. The best security systems out. It was the features for me. Super easy to get the package that benefits you and they don’t try to force unnecessary products down your throat. The installation process was super quick and very helpful getting feedback from the technician as to where you want your products installed and making adjustments.

I received my Vivint Security System yesterday after the rep Chris came to my house. He provided a thorough explanation of what they offer and helped me decide what works best for me and my budget and needs. Thought about a camera for a while for the driveway and front door. Love the 4K clarity in the cameras. App is intuitive so it's easy to use. Tablet for wall is a nice touch. Salesperson Chase & Tech Luke were very professional.

It took entirely too long for the purchase and installation of the system. Additionally the installer must have accidentally picked up our key to our back door and we have spent time this morning trying to get that issue resolved.

Bought out my contract with my other company. Went above and beyond and showed up extremely quick after I signed to install. The install was smooth and taught me how to use the no brained UI for the touch panel.

The installation crew and the sales guy Connor were both awesome! The only reason I am doing 4 stars and not 5 is while I appreciated the quick install and I’m sure in some cases it is convenient, it was late and I would’ve chosen another day if I was asked. I think the techs left my house around 11 so kudos to them for working that late but like I said that was a little too late for me to still be up. Other than that great team, easy set up and install didn’t take too long.

It was late in the afternoon and by the time the technician came, he said it would take till midnight to finish the install. Things had to be moved in order to accommodate the installation. My husband and I are over 70 and we usually go to bed early, so this was unacceptable.

Saul was very personable and professional. Experience was very pleasant. He explained and continues to offer assistance by calling to follow up and making sure we understand what is required to complete the process. Our daughter and son in law already have Vivint and highly recommended it. Saw the owner on Under Cover boss and we were very impressed.

System is okay. But the installation was horrible. Guy did a horrible job. Left all trash all over, and huge holes in my walls! & broken my existing doorbell, just to put the new doorbell camera up. And he was here for 5 hours when it should of took the recommended 3-4 hours. He was on the phone inside my home canceling another appointment. Very unprofessional. That should of been done in the car before entering my home!

Alex was helpful in setting up our system. He helped me set up a time that worked for me. He sent the written instructions on a text which made it easy for me to follow along. He was accurate and precise in his instructions. He answered any questions I had in a timely manner. We are excited to use this system. This was a great experience overall.

It's 12 hours old and everything is fine. It's 12 hours old and I think a little early to date. People are nice and seem to know their product. If you want to be rated in the future it will be easier to do. You may feel This rating to be a little silly. Remember I have had the product for 12 hours.

I just switched my alarm system to Vivint. They offered me an huge upgrade at a very cost effective price! The sales rep was incredibly knowledgeable and found a package that suited my family's security needs. The installation tech was fast and did not leave until all my questions about my new system were answered.

This company is awful. Their salespeople swindle you in and then make it extremely difficult to cancel. We were told multiple things which were very vague like all was wireless and no cancellation fees. Then there are holes being drilled everywhere for wires. All they care about is the money they are making off people. Very disingenuous and deplorable. Do not ever let them in your door!

I am beyond annoyed, not only has the technician not completed the job after 9 hours in my home, I have asked repeatedly to speak to a supervisor with no follow up. I have tried calling Vivint only to be transferred twice and then disconnected with no call back.

From our sales rep to the install this process was simply amazing and flawless. Everything we were promised happened and our system was working accurately right away! We already love our new system and feel so safe. Thank you Vivint for such a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family!

Both people, PJ and Calvin were very professional and transparent. PJ explained everything in depth and was upfront about the costs. Calvin did his best when installing everything, keeping us updated on changes during the install. Would recommend to everyone.

He had a beautiful presentation and he was very respectful and professional. Great personality in a fantastic salesman. He stuck with me throughout the whole process and answer any questions that I had. Help me with the system and also took my children one by one to teach each one of them how to work the system. Paying back the next day to make sure everything was working properly. I definitely would recommend this system to my friends and family. I enjoy being able to know everything going on at the house while I'm away. The guy that installed it was great as well. He had a great personality and made sure everything was working properly before he left.

I have had my alarm system for one day and it captured my packages being delivered and even lets me speak to whoever is at my door thru my app. I love it so far. No complaints as of now and I really do not think that I’ll have any.

Salesman very good at his job. I didn’t want any of this and it’s way overpriced for what you get. I was told they were going to “buyout” my Ring equipment which is new and apparently that’s not true either. I guess I’m not getting the rest of my equipment I’m paying for either. I think it’s called the “smart drive” for video playback. He just said they didn’t have any but didn’t say when I would get it or anything. Apparently the price goes down after 5 years (5 years!!!). Of course it does, you’ve finally paid off your overpriced equipment and now it’s out of date and needs to be replaced. What a waste of money.

I've heard a few horror stories about the customer service, but I've yet to have that experience. My sales rep Eric ** out the Columbia office has sold me an experience. Then my install tech Victoria from the Lexington Park area was so cool. Though she was relatively new, she was confident and thorough. She was upfront about everything. I really appreciated the honesty. Any trouble I've had along the way, between Eric and Victoria I've rashly been taken care of. I can't speak enough good about these 2. They've made my Vivint experience truly memorable.

Mike was great to work with. He explained everything and no pressure. He had Redolfo out to our house within a half hour to have them installed. He had everything installed and connected within a few hours. They were great to work with.

Tim ** was great. Very professional, made sure I knew what was going on, how to work everything. I think he is a great employee to your company. I would recommend him to anyone that is thinking about an alarm.

Everyone with Vivint has had great customer service, and communicates extremely well. Everything was clearly/ concisely explained, and our installer was nothing but professional. Very excited to use our new security system, and to have peace of mind knowing our dog is safe in the house.

Excellent communicators from sales person, his supervisor to the installer. When all was said & done we not only had a fully functioning system installer training walked us thoroughly through operation & features of our new user friendly system. Noteworthy is that our salesman & his boss were by within a couple of hours to draw attention to additional features and ensure our operational awareness to be sure we could take advantage of full functionality. Something we never had for our earlier systems.

I had been long time customer, had alarm turned off and called to restore service about a year later and found out I needed to purchase new equipment.☹️☹️ It would have been nice to get free upgrade considering I am a long time customer.

I recently got this system, so I don't how reliable it is. What I know is, for the short period of time I have used it, I have no problem. When I use it for a longer period of time, then I will be able to give a more accurate review.

The recognition explained everything in a very understandable way. He was professional and very courteous. He was clean and neat and made sure to Help me with setting up my online application. He understood what was best for my needs and worked with me to make best choices. No mess was left for me to clean up. He answered all my questions and appeared very knowledgeable about the system.

Sales manager was great, installer was great, but it has been over a week since they installed system, but did not Finish, I was told I was going to get a camera for the inside, and a thermostat, but have not received anything yet.

Experience was fine, thus far. The customer service person should be knowledgeable of the process to be able to explain to the customer of what takes place, specifically having to open a line of credit to even get the alarm. That was something that was not told me when calling to get a quote and scheduling. Also the customer service person was pushy on getting me scheduled and putting down a deposit.

The Tech who installed the security system was very professional and a great job. Our agent was also very professional and answered all our questions. We are very pleased with Vivint. They met every need we wanted. The security system was installed within 30 minutes from when we signed the contract. They were very prompt.

What a great experience. From purchase from Matt to the install. Our installer was Josh and he did a great job. Very professional and unobtrusive while doing his work. When he ran into some issues integrating our old wired hardware, he called for Harlow and two other techs showed up within minutes. Our was a pretty big install and they worked together to solve problems and get the job done. They finally finished up at 10:00 pm after starting around 3:00 pm. The only thing that I didn’t care for was the sales pitch that we could get the “discount” price if we were “flexible” regarding installation. We said we were with the thought that that would mean in the next few days with some reasonable notice.

I would recommend to anyone who is looking for great home security for their home. The high technology with the cameras are awesome. I can sleep much better now that I have this security for me and my grandchildren. Thanks for sending me the text.

Didn't do what he said e was going to do when they installed system. Not a good salesperson. Didn't keep his word and don't answer his phone. Bad business. Installer say salesperson tell all customer lies trying to make a sale.

The installer came on time and did a terrific job. Unfortunately your supporting tech were not so good. The link for my signature for the financing offer didn’t work. I had the option to reschedule or to forgo the zero percent financing on the equipment and pay it upfront. I didn’t have time to reschedule. Not so happy about your IT support.

We highly recommend Vivint for your home security needs. Very high-tech, with movement sensory detection cameras: front door doorbell and driveway. Remote access. I can see what is going on at home when I am at work or traveling for work. This is great!

First the tech Aron, was amazing. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the system. He was very patient in explaining how everything works and was very professional. The installation was clean and quick. Very good work by this young man. So far the system is working great. Love the camera clarity and the ease of use. The only downfall I have noticed so far is when you zoom in on the camera it losses a lot of resolution.

We absolutely love our Vivint security system, we have others in place but nothing can compare to the Vivint system I’ve seen! The sales staff were courteous and professional and the installation technicians were professional and ensured we were not lacking in operating our system. The person doing the installation worked until approximately 10 pm and returned Saturday and worked another 4 hours or so. When he left he said he would be back on Monday. Monday he called and told us to call a electrician to install what was needed to be done. He gave us a number to call and their response was no. I then called Douglass and told him it was his responsibility to get the job done. We bought a system and if they couldn’t get it completed to take everything out and we would contact another company. He said the system couldn’t come out because it had been installed for 2 weeks. He then said he would get back to me. He contacted me a few days later and said he was working on problem..

Lundy was on point from the minute he arrived at our house. Definitely knows his stuff and seems to enjoy what he does. We had Roger do the install and he was super polite and did a fantastic and thorough job. Will recommend for sure.

Levi was great. He was very considerate of our home and helping us make the best decisions regarding placement of glass breaks, camera etc.. Levi represents Vivint in a very positive light!! This is just the beginning, but so far so good. I hope everything goes well throughout my customer service experience and I will remain a loyal customer. No one wants to continually change security companies or any service, honestly. That’s why it’s all about customer service. As I said so far so good.

The installer was not meticulous about routing exterior cables. Did not hide them as should have been done and did not reset siding when he moved it. Needs to be better at this and not in such a hurry. Hopefully in the future he will get better.

The main issue I had with Vivint is the lack of explanation of the services provide on equipment like sensors cost if the home had a previous system. I was told the tech will check to make sure the home is secure before he leaves on the windows. He did that but then he told me it’s a charge to place the missing sensors. Which I wasn’t happy. I was also having to pay upfront for the fees which is ok, but again this sales rep on the phone didn’t explain this to me. Being a new home owner I have a budget to work with because I have repairs to do that are costly. I just wish all the fees paid up front would of been explained to me. So mainly the lack of knowledge to the consumer from sales rep is my complaint.

Explained everything and every aspect of the system in full detail, which was very much appreciated, they were very patient and attentive and clear about how the system works and their recommendations, they addressed every concerned that my wife and I had.

Professional from beginning to end. Clearly went over everything so I could understand. Install was quick and tech was awesome. Explained all areas of the upgrade to our current setup and included options for increasing each to protect our home, property and belongings for our family. Very impressed!

Install was great. Great employee, easy to follow instructions, no house damage. Felt like sales rep left a lot of info out. Didn’t tell us that the “waived” equipment fees were actually just us applying for a line of credit. So while we didn’t pay thousands out of pocket now, we signed up for a loan that we weren’t given a disclaimer for until I started filling out my personal information. I don’t appreciate that sales tactic.

Joe, the Vivint installer, did an incredible job. He was meticulous, very professional, thorough and nothing was too much trouble. He hid the wires, ensured everything was working and showed me how to use the system. He spent over 12 hours on our install and followed up the next day! I couldn’t be happier with the install and the service!

Our Vivint rep miscalculation how much we would be out of pocket for our part of the buyout. He is as off by over $1,800. Overall the installation was good. We still have two windows to be installed and two doors.
