Bobby was great to work with! Everything was super easy to understand and it was a great experience overall. Service was great. Mike ** was great. He explained everything and showed me on the keypad. I love the system and will recommend to others. The system shows a very clear picture. I love my little keypad on my Keychain.

Great product and we are extremely pleased with it. Salesman was extremely friendly and helpful but could have been more upfront about some things. Installation was fantastic. Worked through some issues. Was very helpful, and took the time to explain everything.

I just received my Vivint Alarm system today, but so far so good! The system seems very user friendly. The rep I spoke to before committing to the system was very helpful and answered all my questions; that also goes for Tim S. who installed my system. Tim walked me through the app and worked several of the features with me. So far I am happy with my system!!

Sales rep. explained thoroughly Vivint security sys., the costs of same and installation time/process. Install tech, was very competent and capable in installing all equipt. inside/outside residence. I must say that the technician who told us about how Vivint can help protect our family to the installer who came shortly afterwards was truly amazing. They answered all questions we had and came back the next day to see if any other questions arose. Definitely will recommend this service.

The guy who did the installation at my house was the best. He was fast and was able to answer all my questions. When the install was done, he walked me through how everything worked. While talking with him it was easy to see he was truly a professional. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

The Vivint technology is very effective but simple to use it’s not complicated. The sales person was so knowledgeable & helpful. The sales person promised to return today or no later than Monday. The installation person didn’t have all the equipment to be installed, however I understand, he said he would come back today or no later than Monday. The experience was good!

I was very happy with the ultimate product and the explanation that I received. There were some glitches in the set up itself though that took a lot of time. It was very slow. I am thinking it was not the latest upgrade that caused the problem.

I am happy to give this review. I had a great experience. A sales rep presented Vivint Home Security and the equipment they used. How I will be monitored by the security and he said it will be installed by Vivint technicians already in the area the same day. So happy to be a customer.

Shane was great at explaining the system and making sure our requests and needs were met. The sign up was painless and install came less than 48 hours later. Osman our install tech was very informative and beyond helpful making sure every detail was addressed to get the lost out of our equipment. If you are looking for a home security system with great products that are clear and real time look No further. Bye Nest camera and hello Vivint. PS ask them for the trade in of your equipment. Our technician was courteous and helpful. He represents the company well. He spent considerable time, making sure the installation was fully functional and the hardware was working correctly. He even gave us a new yard sign as ours was badly faded.

Very good experience from initially ordering the product and scheduling. The lead time was within a few days, which was super convenient. Shane installed our system and provide my wife and I with a good understanding how everything works. I highly recommend this security system.

Vivint installed a doorbell camera, driveway camera as well as smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors. Both the sales members and the installation tech were fabulous. Everyone was thorough and clear on the products and functionality. Would recommend to friends and family!

Graham was our sales manager and he is AMAZING! He explained everything very well to us and didn’t try to make us purchase extra stuff. Zee was our tech to install everything and she did everything in a timely matter and took her time to show us how to use everything once it was installed. Both Graham and Zee were very pleasant to be around, they’re amazing people. Graham came to my house the same day I messaged him to give me a quote and Zee showed up within 10 minutes of us signing our paperwork. We chose Vivint because the camera quality is better than everyone else. You don’t have to have Wifi for it to be set up, it’s cellular. It’s constant monitoring. You can control everything from your phone & affordable! I recommend Vivint to all my friends!

Installer was very efficient. Like the system, but will take a while to get it down. Set off the alarm before he left, and he came back in and had to move the sensor from the smoke detector in the hall to the living room detector, as it was too close to the monitor.

From Sales to Installation the service was great. Christian from sales was very professional and very informative on all of the equipment Vivint offers. He made sure to get us a great price for service to keep me and my family safe. The installers were quick, timely and efficient. They were determined to clean up after themselves even though I offered to do it myself. During installation they also maintained and honored Covid 19 safety protocol to ensure safety. Telephone setup (08/16) not completed - called to reset appointment (08/23) and was told a tech would come at no cost. Setup technician came 09/02 - and said Vivint wants $99 and I objected. Tech said he had no ability to change billing. Set up of takeover account with wrong spelling of last name ** instead of **. Tech didn’t have a credit card reader so we had to Call to set up payment - 866-279-8324. Then press 1 - unable to connect - unable to connect. Tech got name changed to ** and email was also incorrect. Tech was here for about 90 minutes. I really HATE Vivint.

Speaking with the first customer service rep was pretty challenging knowing she wasn’t in this country. I kept trying to explain the situation to her and she wanted to get rid of me. That almost Caused me to get my money back and not use your company, But fortunately for the next person I spoke with she was able to help me and explain to me what needed to be done and the information on the contract and it gave me a change of heart.

The entire Vivint team that set me up with my home security was excellent. Spencer was the sales rep and Kevin was the lead installer. Spencer explained everything and answered every single question I had. Kevin and the other gentleman with him to do the install were absolutely wonderful. I have two little kids and it was close to their bedtime. I joked they were on a clock because I didn’t expect the installation to be done that same night I signed up. They not only were kind and respectful of my situation, they got my installation done perfectly and were done in about an hour. I could not be more pleased with their work.

Prompt, courteous, and efficient. Very informative. Even had some older visitors cameras that he took the time to see if they would have worked on my new system. Unfortunately they wouldn't so I don't know what to do with them. Installation was very discrete, non- intrusive. I love it. 360 is so amazing at front door. App notifications me every time. Can see to clear at night. Only doorbell without other equipment is cheap. I want this all but I can’t. Due can’t speak. I purchased a Vivint subscription today, although not intending to do so until a representative came to your door. The presentation was friendly and informative and all of our questions were responded to fairly and honestly. Everything was covered thoroughly and nothing was avoided. Our system was installed immediately after the commitment and our tech, Matt, was equally knowledgeable and capable. He worked quickly and efficiently and gave an effective tutorial about the system, including setting up our cell phone linkages.

Tech has tried multiple times over the first few days to fix the door bell camera and can get it to work for a time but overall it’s “offline” 50% of the time. In my opinion on this is Not worth the overall cost.

Salesmen was not transparent in pricing and had multiple changes. Installer cracked door and did not say anything. He also left a mess and did not clean after himself. The Vivint buyout process has been painful and we are still waiting for our $1000 gift card. The system itself has been great, however not the greatest.

I was truly happy with the service I received from my salesperson, Jorge **. However, not as impressed with the install person. He left a mess that my Howeve had to clean up and he kept driving his work belt on my newly painted walls. I would have expected him to be a little more careful it being a new house and all. He also knocked over a bookstand instead of moving it so he could complete the work in the area he was focusing on.

Overall it was a great experience, but I was shocked when I was told by the technician that I would have to be installing on my own some of the equipment myself. If it is a simple task then I get it, but I would hate to do something wrong and then it goes bad or breaks and then I'm liable.

On the 27th of August the Installer came out to our home to install 2 security Cameras, the Doorbell as well as other security features on our doors and windows. Nothing was installed where we wanted it, the camera on the front of our house only points down to our car and not towards our driveway like he was asked to do, The camera in the back only points down to our patio table not giving us the full view of our backyard that we were wanting.
Holes were drilled all over the inside our home as well as the outside masonry. The installer “rigged” our doorbell to make it work. The salesperson on the phone make it seem like the install would be almost simple for your installer to do. The customer service rep also told us that he needed to a soft credit check, that was an absolute lie, your company did a hard credit check, which my wife was not happy about, The entire install took 8 hours. I want this entire system reinstalled correctly or you can come and get it, if you are not willing to install this system correctly you can come get your system as well and fix the damage that your installer has done.

I waffled a little between a 4 and 5 only because we have run into some adhesive issues with the sensors resulting in them falling down and triggering the window to show open. However a 30 second super glue job did the trick and we haven't had any problems since, their service otherwise ultimately earned them a 5. Three years ago an apartment complex was developed across the street from our neighborhood. It was of no concern until the complex decided to drop background checks and their higher credit requirement cultivating a demographic with lengthy criminal records and poverty.
One night, our dogs were violently barking at our sliding glass door staring toward the dark area of the yard, as I looked out two hooded men saw me and hopped the fence to run away. Three hours later they returned, only this time I revealed that I and my wife were armed and prepared to dial 911 to call them an ambulance. This happened at 9pm. Imagine if it were 3am. We had a Vivint Security System installed mostly due to the familiarity of the brand with the commercials and billboards, but we had heard that some security alarms go off and they never receive a phone call from the business which we almost were expecting a little.
Life has taken unforeseen turns and we now have our aunt with dementia living in our basement apartment. It has a separate entrance and occasionally she enjoys strolling outside at 2am. Over the last year she has tripped the alarm probably 15 or so times and not a single one did Vivint fail to contact us within 30 seconds of the code not being input. Not a single time did they call and become annoyed or frustrated at the repeated false alarms. We ended up purchasing all of the equipment and enjoy the $23 monthly service charge for SIM service in case someone got sophisticated and cut the Comcast cable out back removing internet access. All in all, we've never had a problem with the system outside of the early mentioned adhesive problems that have been resolved. Highly recommend.

I was able to talk with someone at that number, which is their customer support number, who was able to help me cancel the service. Turns out the Door to Door sales didn't lie and wasn't misinformed, he had written down the cancellation date on the paper cancellation form provided with my paperwork. The Vivint customer support reps I talked to after the first one on the 26th of August were very helpful. The first guy I talked to didn't know I had signed up from a promotion, and I didn't know the promotion included the one week free trial, so I didn't mention that when I was talking with him on the 26th.
Overall the system is nice, the only problem we had was a faulty smoke detector that began chirping and flashing a yellow light indicating a fault. Tried changing the batteries but when I put in the last battery after about 30 seconds it chirped again, and then triggered a fire alarm when I pressed the test button, I didn't hold down the button just a quick press and release. Other than that everything worked well, and we found out our elderly neighbor likes to weed our side yard that isn't fenced in, even though she told us where the property lines are...

I was told by the door to door salesman I had one business week to cancel the free trial with no penalty. The night our system was installed we lost enough shingles in a windstorm to justify replacing the roof. We just got the bid to replace the roof and decided to cancel the system since we can't pay for the system, the roof repair, and still save a little money. Turns out I only had 3 business days and tried to cancel by one day late. Now we have to pay for the system and a new roof because a sales man was misinformed or lied to me. I am giving 2 stars not 1 because we do like the system, and I should have read the cancelation notice/rules before signing up and not just trusting someone. Won't recommend to anyone.

This is the worst security company I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I greatly regret switching to them. We've had our system now for a few years, only because I paid to have a lot of cameras and sensors installed and don't feel like I have a choice but to stick it out now. The system never works, cameras constantly drop and every time you contact customer support to ask for help they say it's your fault and you need to reboot the panel for the 100th time, or it must be your internet, can't be their system causing the issue. Shockingly, their fix never works! I got to the point of demanding that they send someone to my house to fix the issue because every time I called they gave me the same runaround and we are paying for a system that doesn't even work properly. They flat out refuse to send someone, they don't care.
We had a car stolen out of our driveway, the camera wasn't recording for some reason so we had nothing for the police. The same car got broken into a few months later, again no video recorded. A car got hit in front of our house and the people came to our door for help and we couldn't help them because guess what, the camera didn't record again! So when we actually needed the system it failed us, I called and complained and again, they didn't do anything. Finally I got someone to tell us we supposedly we needed a new SmartDrive, they said they'd overnight one and it has never showed up. That was over a year ago. Now, we've had a package stolen and when I try to access the recording it won't let me! Stay away from this business, it's a complete joke and they don't care about their customers once you're locked in.

Just got through having our Vivint system installed. The sales and install people were very kind and knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and made sure we understood how the system works. Very thorough job. They were kind enough to keep an eye out for our pets as they worked. My biggest concern is A. I’m not a tech person. B. I needed more time to understand fully how this system works. C. I broke down when my alarm went off and was emotionally off my game for a while. The support folks came on and helped which was great but still not comfortable with how the system works. All this said I have not had adequate time to access what I need to do.

Door to door salesman wanted to charge me 10 times what my current security company, ADT, proposed for a smart upgrade. He claimed I would save $400 if I signed up while he was still at my house. There are bad reviews all over internet!

Technician was very knowledgeable!!!! It just took a little longer for the installation than I thought it would be. Only issue was to window of time for the installation, I thought that my installation would begin at 8 am but it didn’t begin until 11 am.

In our dealings with the Vivint sales rep and installer we were very pleased with their service. Grayson the sales rep was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Took his time to explain in detail how the system works and answered any and all questions we had. Matt the installer of the system was also very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He explained what he was doing, answered any questions I had regarding the installation and when he completed the installation explained how to arm, disarm and operate the system. I can truthfully say we have had other security companies systems before going with Vivint but have not had the quality of service that we have received from Vivint. So far no complaints and would highly recommended Vivint.

My issue is not with the device. Installer damage to door frame. See attached photo. The frame was damaged on the inside and the outside. About a 4" piece of wood was missing from the door frame outside. The installer put joint compound on it to cover the exposed wood on frame. Did not get a photo before he put joint compound on it. He asked me if I had white paint to cover damage on inside.

Just moved into the house that already had the system set up just had to get it in our names. During the original activation the panel froze and took a little bit to get a technician out to fix it but once he was here it took about an hour to get everything back up and running and fully set up. Quincy ** did an amazing job getting it reset and explaining all of the different things on the app and on the panel. He also made sure that all the previous equipment that was left by the previous owners of our house was up and running and worked how it needed to. Excited to finally use my service.

The salespeople and installer were very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. They took time to acquaint myself and my husband with the equipment and its use. This morning, however, I was awakened by a phone call from Vivint saying they had detected that the battery wasn’t working properly and sure enough when I checked the system everything was dead. Today is Sunday and I have plans for the day so I will have to wait until Monday to call about it and look on the computer about it to see what happened. I think we will like it once we get it working.

Very pleased with sales representative and the tech that did the install. I like this system over the Ring. This system has a sharper picture and features like checking to see if garage door is closed. Also like the key pad for the front door eliminating the need to change locks.

Lilly and Wayde are truly outstanding individuals! Excellent work and customer service, promote ahead of peers, time now! I hope Lilly does amazing things at college and Wayde joins the military (might have pushed it a bit). I am running out of things to say… It’s super cool that when I lock my door on my phone that the doorknob turns.

Fast install, friendly and professional staff! I was hesitant about if I could figure out how to use it but the staff trained me and even took the time to show me some pointers. I highly recommend this service, you can’t go wrong with it and the monthly cost is very reasonable.

Sales experience went smoothly, but got sidetracked easily. Installation and setup was a breeze. Very smooth. Installation was very late at night, but they were great at it. Would like to see more open times, but I understand it's hard to work around everyone's times.

The salesman was very professional. We already knew that we wanted to change so he was fast and straight to the point without missing any important information about the product. This is amazing because we have 2 little kids. Installation was fast as well. Z was super professional.

The salesman, Devonte was very informative and knowledgeable about the products. Installation was very quick. The installation tech walked me through all the steps and ensured I was comfortable with the placement of the equipment. Overall I experienced excellent customer service from them both. I love the camera clarity as well.

Both representatives were very professional and gave me sufficient information to properly operate my security system. I recommended the system to my next door neighbor and they got it installed as well. I am really excited about this system because it has way more features than my last system. Installer was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable on all equipment installed and answered all questions. He also was very quick in installing all equipment and providing a thorough explanation on how to arm, disarm, add people, and set custom actions and rules.

Professional, on time and great, easy to use product. The installer was early for the appt. He answered all of our questions and place the cameras exactly how we wanted it. Showed us how easy it is to use the devices and the app.
