We've had Vivint for at least 15 years (and had APEX before Vivint bought them) - had great service and have even purchased more products over the years. We have Vivint thermostats and two fixed cameras. We've had occasional issues with the app being a little temperamental and our thermostats losing connectivity but tech support has always been able to help us resolve the problems.

The customer service here is excellent! The technicians were very informative and quick with the installation. I love how thorough the technician was ensuring I understood everything. What was even nicer he gave me a direct number to reach him if I had any issues instead of jumping through customer service to get an issue resolved. Now that’s excellent customer service! I’m also very happy with the new technology! I’m super happy!

Your tech person was amazing. Made sure that I understood how the panel worked, how the app worked and that I could connect my Alexa and Google to Vivint. Awesome job sir, thank you!!! I would want to work with him again if I need a tech to come out.

The team that came out, Ariel and his trainee, did a great job. Ariel kept me informed of what was going on while explaining in detail what, why and how the installation was being done; changes and why; and cleaned up immediately.

I couldn’t be happier with the installation and the equipment so far. The peace of mind this brings is priceless! I plan to write an update in the future after using the system for a while. So far so good up to this moment.

Vicinity did a great job keeping us updated on when someone was going to be coming out. The installation was easy and seamless. The technician Devonne did an excellent job installing all the pieces we needed, and walked us through all the aseptic the system before leaving.

The sales rep and installation tech were great. They were knowledgeable and polite and very easy to talk to. I felt we were old friends. They did an excellent job of recommending different devices that I may need. So far I love my new system.

Rep John was very good at explaining everything. Helpful advice on the benefits of getting the service. I appreciate the help of him and the techs. They was swift to install and answer questions about the new system. I would recommend them.

All of the experience thus far has been stellar. From very organized and courteous customer service to support and technician help, the process was seamless. The technician was very informative as well and explained all the different custom parts my system had.

I didn’t intend on getting this service but I did, after speaking to the Rep. Cameron. Very knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly. The technician Matthew, also very courteous and knowledgeable. It was a smooth experience and they explained the options and how to use the system thoroughly.

The employees you have working for y’all are great. Very professional. On time. Wouldn’t leave till they were finish. Took them a while but we Got done. Colin was a good sales rep. Very nice and polite. Showed us how to work it on our phones on the iPad. Everything.

The installation tech was very nice and helpful. He took time to explain the process thoroughly and gave me several different options to choose from. I would definitely recommend Vivint to my friends and family because of him. Hope the service is as good as the technician.

Pretty good experience, tech was polite and informative and showed up early, even. Had some issues with running wires due to fire blocks in the walls and outlet malfunctions, but tech suggested some work-arounds that ended up being very acceptable. Overall, we are happy with the set up, hopefully it functions properly in the long run.

We usually do not listen to door solicitations. Because of a lack of time we asked Jordan to return later. He was a skilled salesman, cordial, polite and presenting a slick pitch. David worked so very hard on our historic home, was so patient with us and left all areas immaculate. So far, so good as we are getting to know how to operate the new system.

Mike was great and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond and he love how easy it all was. The job was done nicely, cleanly, and professionally. I would highly recommend anyone looking into getting a home security system to go with Vivint.

Vivint technician was excellent! Kept me updated on the process and thoroughly walked through how to use the system. Even gave me next steps for future features. Also said if I had any questions that I could call or text him!

Service rep was punctual and courtesy. They were very helpful, efficient, thorough and helpful. They explained everything to me and were very friendly in the process. The guys were amazing! Super helpful and knowledgeable. I have their number just in case I have any questions or concerns. Brian and his team came Thursday to switch over. Friday afternoon the installation crew came and showed me how to use the app and the panel I have.

My tech Angel was working nearby as I was moving into my new home. Initially I approached him to ask for a business card for future installation, he then managed to get me a consultation with a customer rep within 20 minutes! We discussed various pricing options and my system was installed 2 hours later. Angel was quick, knowledgeable, courteous and explained everything perfectly. I would recommend to everyone.

Wyatt was a consummate professional. He not only knew his trade well he was also very helpful and friendly to interact with. The equipment seems very user friendly as well as the phone app. We would recommend Vivint to others who are interested in the latest security technology.

Missing what I was told was included in my package. Was suppose to have doorbell camera, indoor camera and backyard camera. I never got my indoor camera then the kid took 9 hours so I missed an entire day of work. I don’t know if I want it now if I can’t have what my package was suppose to be.

We were lucky to have Jesse as our technician. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The entire installation process was seamless which really made a big difference for our first home. We love being able to use the app to access everything!

Kevin and Jason was very professional. They were very detail oriented. They took their time to go over the process and analyze everything with myself and my visually impaired daughter. The camera's view is amazing and the quality is outstanding.

All of the techs we have dealt with have been so respectful, knowledgeable, and kind. Also they have giving good advice. The camera in the front is awesome. I’ve also added the Vivint camera on the side where our cars are located. The view is great. A lot better than what we had before.

Great customer service, a great system, camera clarity is amazing. The best system on the market. I’ve had ADT and it doesn’t even compare. The service tech was pleasant, efficient and polite. He came on time and cleaned up behind himself.

Upon closing on our second home, our priority was to ensure its security. Vivint had a rep come and explain their services. We understood what they offered and began shopping. Once we had everything we wanted, the customer service rep handled our order and gave us our installation day. Everything was on time and accurate. We didn’t have our internet set up initially and the installer had a great attitude about and helped us reschedule. Once we completed everything, he explained the apps and how everything went. I would 10/10 recommended this service to everyone.

After contacting Vivint they were out the next day and installed my security system. Everyone I spoke was very responsive and helpful. The tech who came to the house was friendly and efficient and patient as he taught me the system.

The install of Vivint was quick and professional. The installer was very good. He was tidy and cleaned up after himself. The system works great. We are glad we chose this alarm company and we are very happy so far. We will recommend Vivint to our friends. We will probably install a second system in our primary residence.

The lady that took my order never asked me how many windows I had with the sensors so we had to adjust the order. Plus I asked for 3 cameras and the order said 2 so really the order was all jacked up and I ended up having to pay more money. So I wasn’t happy with the lady that took my order. Now the guy that did the install was amazing and did a wonderful job.

Alarm system with door bell camera and backyard camera. Smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector were installed in correct location. Went over how to operate system on mobile phone application. Everything works great and very satisfied with the technician's work.

Patrick ** was amazingly efficient and very professional. He gave great recommendations of where the best spots for the sensor would be and got everything done very quick. He also helped get me started on how to set up the main hub.

The technician that came and installed my alarm Panel and other equipment was fantastic!! He made sure I understood everything prior to him leaving. Installation guy was awesome. Explained very well and his experience helped me determine what I really needed. He was able to correct and explain more than the guy I spoke to over the phone. Hunter arrived on time and went above and beyond to complete the job. The internet was not connected but he took extra steps to get the system up and running. When he arrived I informed him that the complex would not allow the door camera so he made arrangements to have a inside camera sent to me. As a 20-year member of ADT, I couldn't wait to jump ship when we bought a new house. Alex, the contractor who sold me the policy for Vivint was very good, but Tyler, the technician who installed the system, was truly outstanding. I got exactly what I was looking for at an excellent price, and the installation was perfect.

Bryce handled my concern very professionally and expediently. My smoke detector was showing an error message following the replacement of the batteries. He assessed the problem…. It had expired… He ordered a replacement. I was very pleased with his patience and understanding of the problem.

The system works great. I would have given 5 stars but the cameras are mounted very low on my house. Very noticeable. Like middle of the wall. Also camera to be mounted in living area is just left sitting on the counter.

While I’m not crazy fond of service contracts, Vivint made the transfer of service from the old home owner to myself streamlined and easy. Technician was amazing and explained everything well. The entire process was easy and the installation tech was amazing (Brandon **). Really satisfied with everything so far. Besides the backyard camera not working but I’ve been assured it will be fixed. I will definitely be recommending friends and family to get Vivint as well. While the equipment seems sort of pricey, I can’t put a monetary value on my peace of mind.

Overall a good experience so far between the sales rep that explained the system and pointed out some of the things the Vivint System had that my old system didn't. The install rep was on time, very Professional, and helpful on everything I asked.

The installation technician did a great job of explaining the install and afterwards the features. He completely went over everything, including recommendations for better security and conveniences as well and removed the old system so we can return to the owners of the unit. So far after only about an hour, everything seems to be as it should.

Adam was great! More companies need to hire reliable guys like him. I told him where I wanted the cameras and he want to work. Communicated well and wore a mask to be safe. Quick installer too, he did 7 cameras and 4 sensors, and a hub in 6 hours.

Installation of security system was very professional. They were timely and kept me updated on status. Paperwork was all done through technician's iPad and my cell phone. He worked with me to tailor devices/services needed and very patiently walked me through using the system. He cleaned up the workspace before leaving, which was nice bonus.

Contacted Vivint on installing a replacement alarm system in a short notice time frame. They arrived on time and the technician was very professional and personal. The install was quick and the instructions on use was excellent. I recommend using Vivint as your security system.

Esteban (the installer) did a great job! He was very helpful and informative. He did a walkthrough of the house, we decided what would go where, what work had to be done, etc. He was very patient when my wife had questions!

We signed up for Vivint about 6 years ago and at first it seemed like a decent system even if it was expensive. The doorbell camera had a bad habit of catching tree movements but not people walking in the yard. The garage camera was about a 3/5 as it had a narrow field of view. About 2 years ago I got the "upgraded panel" due to some technical issues with the old one. Sadly due to other issues the garage camera wasn't working (not Vivint's fault) but the doorbell camera now only records if you stand right in front of it. No way to record anyone entering the property or anything else unless you have them set up a DVI recorder for the camera (not a standard option.) Expect people to walk all over your property with no idea when.

The experience with Vivint was a pleasure. The tech was very knowledgeable, and able to answer all our questions. His work was well done and very neat. The products are easy to use. Everyone at the company that we had contact with was extremely helpful and professional. We would and will recommend this company to our friends.

The overall install from start to finish was wonderful. The tech answered questions and was able to add items to the install that I didn't take into account before they got there. He showed us how to use the panel, the app, and some tips based on how he uses the same products at his house. All in all I would recommend this product and this technician to anyone.

I had a very poor experience with the customer service line representatives I spoke with in the last month. My appointments were not kept and then pushed out weeks with no compensation or compassion behind it but gladly took my payment for the service prior to booking my appointment. I finally spoke with a supervisor after being hung up on by a male customer service rep. when asking for a supervisor and I was able to speak with Suzanne a supervisor and she finally gave me some relief and connected me with Emily who was equally as amazing and helpful and was able to set me up with a next day in-person technician to ensure I would be taken care of and not another failed call by the telephone technicians.

Joseph took his time installing and explaining how to use security system. The system is high tech with a good size keypad. Simple to use. I highly recommend this company. I will recommend my family and friends. You will not be disappointed.

Okay so first, sometimes they will send someone that looks good and personable to make you sign up for this system. They go and talk about how other systems and this can be 2000$ or more but only going to be a certain amount of money a month. What they don’t tell you is that you are actually paying that much money for this system but you are paying to someone else not them for this system. Also, they only give you a 3 day return policy which is crap and I’ll say why later.

Jonathan showed up on time and was extremely personable and professional throughout the installation. He went above and beyond with answering any questions and installing the cameras where I wanted them. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the installation and look forward to having this service. Hopefully Jonathan’s boss sees this and gives him the credit he deserves!

My tech was very friendly. He walked me through each step, make sure I understood how to work my system. He was great and made sure each camera was where I asked them all to be. He took his time with explaining.

Josh was very helpful & patient. He explained the process clearly. He also helped with adding another phone to the system. He spoke well and clear, very easy to understand him. I would highly recommend Vivint to my family and friends.

Installed Vivint System. Very professional. Explained how to use system and answered our questions. The Technician was very knowledgeable and he gave suggestions on how to add Security to our existing system. The Technician also added batteries to the areas where system indicated low.

Our installation appointment with Vivint went great. Zane ** was our installer. He was friendly, explained the best options for us, answered our questions and was very professional. He took the time to help determine best positioning of our cameras. He also hid the wiring very well so the look in our office was good. I would highly recommend.

I had the best experience with my installation. I had miscommunicated my needs with the tech after the order had been placed differently and he did his best to fix it for me, including placing phone calls until he got answers. He kept me from a second install appointment and did his best to give me the best experience possible!

Technician was communicative and friendly. Offered to come earlier than the scheduled time and was willing to work around my meetings. Quick install, happy with the doorbell and was excited to learn we got a Google Home Mini with it.

The first person I spoke with was very nice and informative. He told me what to expect and that’s exactly what happened. The second person I spoke with to set up the equipment made it simple and easy. We communicated via text and phone. It was a seamless process.

At first I was very dissatisfied until my system was installed. My first appointment was canceled and Vivint did not notified me that they had canceled and/or rescheduled my appointment to a later day. I still don't have the equipment I promised. I was told it will be mailed to me.

Really happy with the installation and customer service. The technology is awesome and we are impressed with all of the features available! Knowing our home is safe not only from intruders but also smoke detectors and CO2 detectors gives us a sense of security for us and our children and pets.

I really enjoyed the setup walk through. Been wanting security for a long time and makes it easier so I can see my son. I'm extremely happy!!!! The only thing was because our WiFi wasn’t set up just yet I couldn’t see the camera views like I really wanted to... I’m happy we are going to sleep good and safe tonight.

Trenton the young man who came by and talked to us about Vivint was very professional and pleasant. I will keep him in mind when I know of anyone wanting a security system. The installer Ryan was great. He did an amazing job installing everything we ordered and it looks seamless.

Have no problem with the system or program, all reps were nice and everything works. We live in a low traffic area but if something should happen, we'll at least have a clue about what is going on. Clarity is good as well.

The installer did not clean up the mess he made. He left nails and wood dust in the doorways. He did not install smoke detectors/carbon monoxide detectors and did not bring a sign or window stickers when they were specifically requested for the install. I was not happy with this experience.

David ** was great. He explained everything about my new system and plan. He informed me I would not have to make until January. Unfortunately, I was charged $51. I called David and he informed me he'll get me money back. Michael the installer was very professional and he cleaned up afterwards.

We had a little mis-communication on camera placement but nothing that can done at later date. Both Installers were pleasant and professional. They were very patient and attention to detail oriented. Thanks also to Jorge my sales rep for all his assistance.

Very attentive and friendly people. I moved into a home that already had a Vivint security system installed, and they made setting it up super easy! They walked me through how to use it and now I can feel safe in my new home.

Our technician was AWESOME, very friendly and patient and would recommend he get a raise. He was wonderful. He went through everything slowly and clearly and left us feeling very secure with the information he gave us and also said we could call anytime with any issues.

Brian came out to activate our system with existing equipment that was left from a previous owner. He was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable! He used footies to not track in dirt and wore a mask, which I appreciated. He was here for several hours and was able to get us up and running and taught us how to use the system. I would 100% recommend him for service and plan to keep him on speed dial!

Cristian was awesome. Let me know 30 mins before he arrived, made sure everything was setup how I wanted and helped me pick out where to install a camera, he made sure I knew exactly how everything worked before he left and tested everything, he even went out of his way to pick up parts from another technician he was not expecting to use. Overall my experience was over the top.

I would recommend that the software be changed to permit rearranging the order of camera images so that they can be in sequence as if you were walking around the house. This would be more intuitive and avoid having to jump from images on one side of the house to the other.

I need the camera on my phone. I suppose to have a link sent to my phone so I can see who’s ringing the doorbell. Dylan came over and said he was coming back or send the link. What he sent doesn’t work. If you need further details call (**).

Super friendly. Super polite. Cleaned up after himself and answered as many questions that we had until we understood how it should work. Left the system running and fully operational when he parted. Didn't need much assistance after because the whole system is really easy to use.

It’s smart and excellent service, I’m happy I’m have this system because every is secure now by very clear detection cameras and sensors, I really advice anybody has home to deal with company with excellent service and excellent price.

My install tech was supposed to arrive at 3:00 (he had called to confirm) and didn’t show up until 3:30. Install didn’t start until 4:30 and he left after 8PM with my front door lock not working and my doorbell camera stopped working shortly after he left. I was assured he would return the next day to fix/complete install. That is now not the case. VERY POOR START VIVINT!

My technician RJ with Vivint went above and beyond with helping install my home security system. He was fast when setting everything up, very precise and made sure to get my feedback on the placement of the door bell and wall panel. He even had a little handheld vacuum with him to help clean up anything left after installation. He then made sure I knew how my system worked fully and helped me get everyone added to the account that needed to. Thank you RJ!

Great process, the technician was detailed and ensured we were okay with everything before proceeding with the installation. We were not informed the install would take the full day to be completed but it was still fine, thankfully. Thank you!

Transfer went smoothly until billing dept got involved, I made first payment and then was told that there was a remaining balance? Now I cannot contact Vivint in any way to resolve issue. I call and when they try and pull up account an error occurs, I'm at a loss. Previous account holder contacted me and they want "remaining balance" from them before a transfer can be made.

Polite; Knowledgeable; Helpful; no sales pressure involved; I feel I understand how to use the equipment. Affordable; Didn't try to sell me something I couldn't use. Helped me download the right app. Excellent! In the future I may add other features.

The Vivint sales rep showed up at my door yesterday. I am usually annoyed by door-to-door salespersons showing up out of the blue, but this young man Drake, was perfect in his delivery. I had been thinking about a doorbell security system for several months. Vivint leads the way with superior service, with no up front fees or costs making the purchase a no-brainer. The technician showed up the same day to complete the professional install. If you move, call them and they will remove to system to take with you and reinstall it at your new residence. I recommend Vivint for a great service, professional install, and great monthly rates. Bravo! I’m a Vivint Smart Home customer for good.

The technician (Alex) who activated and supposedly sent me an email to set up the app to a current Vivint in home items never sent an email or rebooted our system. I had to call back to receive an email to set up my vivint app and have my in home system rebooted. Kinda of disappointed that I had to call back. For being a new customer and I still had to pay activation fee and 49.99 for the first month for half ** service. Just because we bought our house with the system doesn't mean that we know how the system works. Really dissatisfied with being a 15 min activation to 4 hours of our system being set up properly. Did not expect this kind of service on the first day....
