The Technician is the real hero here. He made all the difference between me staying and cancelling the contract. He was so kind and apologetic about the wrongful information given by the seller. He contacted several departments and made it work. Even got me a better price in the system.

Ivan was considerate of my wishes and worked with me until we got an acceptable solution for the placement of each sensor and camera. His patience was stellar. He was very creative with coming up with suggestions and I loved that. He was very thorough in his teaching me how to use the equipment. I was super comfortable with the system before he left. I have already recommended your company to several friends. I hope they contact you. I love my new security system and feel much safer now and more in control of the ongoing situation of my neighbor stealing my stuff. I am hopeful to catch him in the act if he tries again!!!! The install tech was great. She worked carefully and did a good job. The cameras are really good. The sensors work well and all of the products are good quality. The initial install amount was more than I thought it would be but hopefully it’s worth it.

The installer brought a loaded firearm into my home. The installation equipment he brought was NOT what we discussed with Vivint when we set up the install service. The tech was completely unprofessional and left a complete mess everywhere along with drilling hole in the outside of my home without weatherproofing the holes. Plus he just ran wires under the outlet covers and left the covers at an angle just halfway screwed in. I will never use vivint again. He took advantage of my spouse inexperience with what right looks like.

Our tech showed up when he said he would which ended up being perfect timing for our busy family. Install was painless upgraded my equipment with a professional recommendation kept to CoVid guidelines and walked us through every step of the way and the set up of our app! Would recommend to anyone looking to secure their residence.

I wasn’t able to get all my equipment installed at the same time and wasn’t made aware until the person got to my place and checked his equipment at my place. So they have to come back and install the last camera.

My installation experience was great! The product (alarm system) is just what we needed and we are pleased. However, the service was beyond exemplary. Stephan **, the installer, was super attentive to what he was doing as well as very informative on telling me how to use the new system and everything it does. He took his time and made sure everything was working and running well before leaving as well as making sure I understood everything he told me. He’s polite, professional and overall a gentleman. Very competent installation. Craig spent a lot of time carefully explaining it all to us. We are not really tech savvy but he made us very comfortable with using all the various functions of our new system. He took us both through everything we need to know in order to use the we system.

Still haven’t got my equipment today. I was supposed to get it before four. 230 I’m still waiting when. Was wondering why y’all charge me an extra $169 today and I really need them today. I told the guy when I ordered them that I need them as soon as possible and he told me they would be here Wednesday and I still haven’t gotten nothing. Thank you.

He addressed all of my concerns and walked me through step by step how to use the home security systems. I haven’t had this for 24 hours and I’m loving it. The system is great, but the tech. did not inform me they disconnect your doorbell. So while the alarm is great it only “rings” on your phone or the control center. Not very good if you own a decent sized house, and leave your phone on a room. YOU WON'T HEAR THE DOORBELL. So I had to ask them to come and reconnect my doorbell with the system. Still waiting for that to happen and they acted like I should have known. They should give you the option NOT just assume what I want.

Jose was a pleasure to work with and was very honest and knowledgeable of the product. I was excited to hear that after I signed the contract, that someone would be at my house in 30min to install. However, they arrived around 7pm and didn't leave until close to midnight! They never told me why it took so long or if they were running into any issues, etc. If I had known I would have asked them to come the next day as I have 3 children and work full time.

My experience with the initial agent was great. She was very personable, extremely helpful and patient. She is the one who actually got me to sign up with your company. Unfortunately the Alex the technician that was supposed to follow up with me to get our profile loaded into your system, first of all I couldn’t barely hear a word he was saying, I advised him and there was no adjustment made. He seemed very unconcerned and almost bothered that he was even talking to me. Not a very good impression of him.

My original plan was to get my doors wired. Once the technician got here and showed me everything the system could do, I installed a 7 camera system! It works great, it’s customizable to fit my needs and the videos are sharp. My only suggestion would be that Vivint make the keypad lockable with a passcode and the volume louder.

Jason was great at helping us decide options for our home. No pressure to buy more than we wanted. The company had our alarm system installed same day. Three techs showed up and got it done. They stayed till 11pm to make sure everything worked. We are happy with system.

I recently decided to switch over from Brinks to Vivint. The sales rep.was very knowledgeable and broke down the entire package in a way that was easy to follow. David, the technician who came to install the equipment did a great job. He was able to answer any questions I had during the installation process. He too was knowledgeable and provided us with the steps we needed to use both the system and the Vivint app. Just based off of the service help and interaction we received during this initial process, I would recommend switching over. With our outside camera, we already feel a bit more secure! I can't wait to explore the app more to make my system even more personalized.

Tech took the time to explain as he did the installs. Open to suggesting better applications such as placement. Very friendly and courteous. Very clean work. Great craftsmanship. It's a shame he's not a local tech and has to return to Michigan. I'm sure the vegas team could always use a good technician. Please express gratitude for his fine work. I wish I had never signed up. Nothing was explained properly. We’ve lost power in part of our home and cannot use appliances due to the install. Customer service is no help. They have ruined our home and they won’t get anyone out for a week. Unacceptable. Wish I could give no stars.

I have a 126 yr old Victorian with some funky features; my installer did a fantastic job of finding everything and installing without any extra holes. He was also extremely professional, polite, friendly, prompt, and a super nice person. He did a great job explaining my system and paperwork. Our tech Miguel was outstanding and consultative in helping us figure out what we needed for the system. It was an easy process to get installed and now we have peace of mind that we are protected. While I love the system so far...I paid in full so I didn't get financed. $1079...while getting installed which I was prepared for. I also received 2 $25 charges yesterday. Why? This wasn't explained to me. Please explain why I received these additional charges.

My installation went great. The system is better than what I had but not what I was expecting. I can't view cameras on my Alexa Show. This was something I really wanted so I'm checking with other alarm companies and maybe canceling during 3 day cancelation period.

For now I will recommend the service to anyone! I use to have Vivint on my previous home and was loyal customer for over 5 years. Decided to go back to add it on this new home but I see they did raise their prices! That is something that can hold a customer / client to get vivint. Other than that I am a happy camper! P.S. Installers 5 stars, overall 4 stars because missing indoor camera (out of stock) and surprise with Wi-Fi (had to buy a more robust router). System easier to use than old system and video added. I will have to do some setup when Wi-Fi arrives.

I really appreciate the variety of options Vivint provides for accessing and securing my home. Whether it’s from the security panel inside, my smartphone, or using the keypad on the smart lock, it all works intuitively and seamlessly. Being able to start small and scale up to more accessories over time is also a nice bonus. The technician who did the install was friendly and knowledgeable, and had no problem explaining features for each accessory he installed.

Installed equipment in August 2021, first week camera went off line, talked to tech several times to reboot, it was decided to schedule tech visit. Scheduled 2 appointments but both were no shows, never got call they were not coming, called day before and confirmed and got email confirmation and called and confirmed 2 appt, still no show. Here it is December and no service. Called again, said the schedule office is closed and will call back. Waited 2 days called again, got same runaround, still waiting on call. Next is these reviews, BBB, and another site I can inform people.

Darrius the sales consultant was beyond professional, relatable and honest pertaining to the Vivint system and comparing it to my Cox home system. His expertise and knowledge of Vivint was the ONLY reason that I chose to switch over even though I just purchased the fox home system outright a month ago when I purchased the home. Darrius was courtesy and stay in touched via phone calls to ensure that the installation process was performed correctly, to make sure I didn’t have any further questions and to also call me the day after to just check in on how everything was 24 hours later. Darrius truly is amazing representation of your company and needs to be compensated on another level.
As a District Manager myself, that level of customer service is unseen in today's economy and needs to rewarded in order to retain professionalism of that level. I am beyond thrilled with Darrius and his ability to relate to the customer, communicate and follow up. I had to call Darrius and ask for a better indicator for acknowledgment because he needs to be acknowledged for his due diligence. My sales rep Darrius (Badge #**) is/was beyond amazing. Installation was fast, and done very clean. I didn’t have the tech install a doorbell, because my house exterior is asbestos paneling. Vivint should teach techs to identify this, as he had unknowingly worked on several houses with the same paneling in the past.

Absolutely loved Benjamin’s customer service, he was absolutely wonderful and very funny. He engaged in conversation the entire time he was here, even cracked some jokes. When I originally called to start service, your sales rep made a promise that the tech would check our broken equipment. Nothing. Crickets. This is how you treat new customers? Lie, or no show? Setting up was also a grave disappointment. You called hours before the scheduled appointment while we were still at work, busy. Then tried to get us to set it our up system via text. How lazy, is that all our business means to you? Your ignoring us is a slap in the face to the contract we signed. At this point, you may have gotten 12 month contract signed, but rest assured that if this poor service continues we will not be around for month 13. We have a camera offline that you promised to come and look at. I'm paying for a service that I am not getting 100% benefit, but yet you're charging 100% of the fee. If I'm only getting 70% of my service then I should only pay 70% of my bill.

2 Techs did the install, the main tech was training a fairly new tech on how they do the install and he was very proficient on training him. The install was flawless and professionally installed. After the installation they go over everything on how to operate the system.

Only issue was the construction of our new home blocked the technicians from installing some outdoor cameras unless I was willing to have wires running down interior walls to interior outlets which I did not want.. So recommend speaking to builder or electrician prior to sign up to ensure Vivint doesn't run into these issues. We have firewalls and walls in attic that blocked them.

When the technician came to install everything it started out great. But as the night went on it got worse and worse. When he took our thermostat off the wall he messed up the HVAC unit and we have gotten the run around with your company about someone coming out to fix it. I would honestly like the cameras to be paid for as well as the HVAC inspection to be paid for as well. It’s absolutely ridiculous for your technician to not know what he is doing but we were promised he was “one of the best techs in the area.” Your customer service is crappy as well as trying to get ahold of anyone. It’s impossible! I’m so disappointed with the installment but I am happy with the cameras.

This was much easier than I anticipated. Technician did this much quicker than I thought and covered all the aspects of the system with me completely. The equipment is easy to use and read on the screens. He showed me the camera outside and how to access it on my phone. He was also very efficient with his time during the installation. He did lose one screw on my ring door bell that is needed to install it. I will try to find it.

So we've had this alarm system for 4 years now and purchased on a recommendation from a neighbor. This company has been nothing but a nightmare for the past 2 years. Between our panel freezing, not receiving notifications on our phone, inability to get someone out to service our system, etc. and spending hours on the phone at a time; I'm canceling. Our panel would freeze and not turn on/off for about 6 months. I called, took videos, pictures, etc. and spoke with numerous people who promised they would solve my problem.
I finally got someone who helped and was willing to come out and change our panel only after Vivint cancelled my appointment and did not even notify me. After that, our panel has worked but one of our cameras is now not working and I don't even want to go through the nightmare of having to call. I was promised one free month service for the problems we went through and did not receive that either. After multiple calls & hours on the phone, supposedly we will receive our credit. It's not worth it. Customer service here is nonexistent.

Vivint came off very untrustworthy when it came to the price of the equipment. I was given one price during the quote over the phone then emailed a much higher price after I agreed to move forward with installation. I called to cancel due to discrepancies. Vivint wanted to make it right but I had lost trust in the company at this point. Over several more calls, Vivint was very apologetic and offered me a even better deal so I accepted the terms. Installation day went fine as the tech was knowledgeable and equipment was installed. All equipment seemed to work fine. About 3 days later, I noticed that I could not hear the doorbell when upstairs in my home. I called Vivint to have someone to come out to check why this is happening.
I was first told that I had to pay a fee for them to come out to check out why it wasn't working properly. I told them that it was recently installed and that they could remove the equipment if I had to pay extra to get the equipment working properly. The Vivint person said in that case, they would send someone out within the week to check it out and I was provided a phone number to call if I didn't hear anything about when someone would come out to fix it. A week later I received a call saying the installation tech has to be the one to fix it and they are on leave for 2 weeks and would reach out to me upon return. Meanwhile, I have no doorbell and my guests has to call me to let me know that they are outside. Also, I sometimes receive a notification that a package has been delivered from the doorbell camera and sometimes not. A month later, no doorbell.

Fantastic service, thorough training, complete security system = SATISFIED CUSTOMER. The install team was polite and worked very hard to install what I needed for an older home. Outdoor cameras provide a clear picture and the panel/app is very user-friendly. I highly recommend Vivint for your security needs.

Vivint’s installer was on time and took the amount of time necessary to explain the new security system and process. Jacob was very professional and highly knowledgeable. We appreciated that Jacob took the time to be sure we understood and could operate the system.

Tim is a good dude and was awesome to work with. He was both thorough and thoughtful when first going over the security system. I had some reservations on somethings I was or wasn’t getting and we were able to talk it out and come to a solution I was comfortable with. Install was great and very pleased with the end result. Cords are well managed and left each work spot very clean. Had a great demo of the system at the end where he really went through and showed each item and what they did. Getting a tutorial both on the hub as well as the phone, leaving me in a great place to manage the system myself.
