The agent was very professional and knowledgeable about the product and services. He also left us his card and let us know if we need anything or thought of something we didn’t ask we could call him directly and he would walk us through it. The agents were here on time and called 30 minutes before the visit. Very pleased.

The salesperson who sold me the system is a liar. He told me he would come back the next day and never did. He doesn’t even answer the phone. He tells you all these offers the company gives to new customers, and none of them are true. The rep's name is Jesse **. Never trust him.

Terrible customer service. I’ve been trying to cancel this service for over 4 months I had a credit of $1.76 and I kept trying to get them to cancel it and quit sending me a bill and I got a call from somebody wanting to know how the service was going and how happy I was with it and I told them I wasn’t that I was trying to cancel it and I got a bill today for $55. It’s supposed to have been canceled and was canceled for the last four months. Every time I call to cancel I get passed around to multiple people and all they want to do is keep me service on. My property is on the market and I have not lived at that property for four months. My next call is to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General’s office. Stay away people.

Technician C.J. provided exceptional service during my Vivint installation. He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable about both the product and the installation process, and took the time to be thorough every step of the way. C.J. kept his work area neat and clean, which I truly appreciated. He also gave clear and concise instructions on how to access and manage my equipment using the Vivint App. I definitely recommend Vivint, and especially technician C.J., for a job well done.

I'm extremely troubled by the customer service and integrity of this company. I called the next day after installation to have system removed because I was aware of prior security services with Brinks of still being under contract and financial obligations. Was informed by Vivint rep I could receive a gift card to pay off balance with Brinks. I will be calling and filing report to Better Business Bureau.

I have been with Vivint for last seven years. Recently updated outdoor cameras, and video doorbell. I was promised $900 discount on five new equipments, but when technician came to install, he suggested I do not need replacement for one of the equipment. After installation, I called the customer service to update them that the one of the equipment was not installed so they should lower my payment for the equipments. I was told $500 discount was applied for the equipment that was not installed so they gave me only $400 discount instead of $900. I was not told discount applied on individual equipment, they just gave me total discount on total payment before installation. Above that, I have been having several problems with the cameras and video doorbell, which they are not able to fix.
According to Vivint, these are newer generations cameras, and they do not have experience with them. When these cameras are not tested to the industry standard, why are they installing for the customers. I’m told by Vivint loyalty team to download my system, but I am stuck with 60 months contract with them because I upgraded my equipment. I told them I am returning the new equipment since they are not working as promised and Vivint is not able to fix them so I should not be under any new contract, but they don’t agree. It seems to be a fraud.

Very polite and extremely knowledgeable installer. Explained everything I needed to know about the system and how to work it. I am extremely satisfied!! I will be recommending Vivint to my family and friends. It is very easy to use their system. I’m usually not good with understanding how to use new software systems. But I understand the first time that it was explained to me!! That’s a big plus.

Five Star Experience, from my call to set up a plan to our great install process. Hunter was an amazing installer. I had this installed at my elderly father’s house so I could watch out. He took his time to talk thru our needs, then customized our plan, then walked thru the system after installed. He helped me set up my app. Very nice job Hunter!!

We had a wonderful experience with our installation. The main guy was training so we had two guys at our house. They were both very friendly and professional. They answered all my questions. Most importantly with me they installed everything very well. I was worried that there would be lots of noticeable wires and equipment but they tucked everything very seamlessly. That alone makes me want to leave 5 stars. Equipment itself is easy to use and the quality is amazing.

We were already interested in purchasing a doorbell camera and smart lock. For the price and ease of use, it was a no brainer. Jake was super helpful with setting us up with a great system. He walked us through each piece of equipment we were interested in. Julien installed the system quickly and accurately. Both were easy to talk with and had great customer service skills.

I am impressed with the ease and professional standards from initial contact to installing. The step by step guiding given me through installation. The excellent quality of the equipment used. I had Ring cameras prior to this install and they are not a patch on the Vivint camera and what they are capable of. Being a widow, I now feel safe and secure. I was not pushed into getting extra things, it made sense to though. My installer was well trained in his work and made no mess. Any visible wiring is secured neatly and tidily (this was only visible inside my garage for my driveway camera). My alarm panel have panic buttons and also is set up for duress too. I added an extra sensor and a smart lock to my original order.

I only had the system for 24 hours but so far so good. No problems and I'm very happy with it so far. Customer service is top notch. Best thing about this system is that I can use into lot and unlock the doors from my phone, that is very good feature. I like also like the upgraded smoke detector is best when I seen on the market and all the cameras of crystal clear best image I've seen so far

I got the system installed in my house. The salesman was kind of misleading because they never really explained price. However when guy came to install system he was very knowledgeable about everything and explained to me better what was going on. Took the time and patience to tell me the benefits and why this option is better and more secure than cheaper products and services. I am very happy and pleased with service. Install window 8AM-noon. Tech arrives at noon for a 3-4 hour install. Leaves my house with work unfinished at 10:30PM. Left sawdust, etc. for me to clean. No supervisor follow up. This was a Friday install.

The tech was awesome. I had a later arrival and was supposed to go do something real quick. He worked on my system outside while I went to handle something and when I got back had everything up and running I need a replacement doorbell camera.. aside from that I can’t say enough positive feedback about my technician. I seem to have forgot his name cause I was so impressed with his work. His name has slipped my mind.. but truly amazing technician. His representation makes your company look amazing. I had an excellent experience with the technician who came to my home, and I feel it is important to share how professional and knowledgeable he was throughout the entire visit. Vivint conned me out of my money. The sales rep assured me I would be paying less a month than I was paying at ADT. Not only was that a lie but, I’m paying 70$ more per month and locked in for years. It’s sad that you’re doing the working class like this. I feel helpless and violated.

DO NOT BUY. The video cameras are absolutely terrible with play back! Trust me you will be dead before the video loads and you are able to see what is going on/a person could rob your entire house while you are away. I paid over $3000.00 for my entire system, a complete waste of money. I constantly have to call and have them reboot something on their end. I will never buy this system again. I will say the monitoring aspect is spot on. They call and text as soon as the alarm goes off.

I thought that working with my older home would be impossible to install this complicated equipment. I was wrong! ALL the devices were placed in a timely manner. The tech then taught my husband and me how to set everything up on our computer and cell phones. It was so easy and the tech was patient with our lack of understanding on how to use computers. Jacob- (Utah). He single-handedly may be the reason why I stay with this security company. His customer service, tone, level of compassion is second to NONE! He needs a PROMOTION. Pardon me for saying that it is quite dreadful as a client that you have to keep calling back to get a new person every time you call to address the same problem. If I could pick back up where I left off from (WITH JACOB) then this would have been such a lovely process. My problem was not fixed, however my trust in knowing that it will be resolved (BECAUSE OF JACOB) has been restored.

Vivint customers service is terrible and they don’t handle things and issues in a timely manner. They give you the run around. Customer service reps are rude and if I knew then what I know now I would of stayed with ADT. They all the the same. Beware and keep good documentation to the people you talk to. I will not be referring any one to Vivint.

I was told by csr that rental property we just moved into had a system consisting of a doorbell, keyless entry, and two cameras that were on front of home. I signed up because we wanted access to two front cameras only to find out after we signed up that only the doorbell was with Vivint and nothing else. I immediately said I would like to cancel this now because I don’t need the doorbell, but was transferred over and over until I was finally told that dept was closed. Then csr tried to sell me two cameras. I’ve been trying to cancel service for a week now and nobody can help me.

Zane was absolutely excellent. He installed everything with perfection. Zane walked me through every steps with patience while making sure I understand every step. We had to call customer service a couple of times. Hopefully everything was properly setup of the billing. As for Zane I recommend him to install any customer system. He is one the best I have met.

I am a loyal customer and had been w/ ADT for 12 years however over the past two years, their service has declined. I remember from a formal Co Worker how satisfied she is with Vivint. The customer service has been exceptional since the moment I called. Today's visit was indicative of what good customer service should be. I appreciate the thorough set up and the gentlemen that came worked well as a team. Additionally, the entire process was simple.

The technician who installed our Vivint service was very informative and knowledgeable about the system. He explained everything well and made sure I understood how the equipment worked, which I appreciated. However, his professionalism fell short when it came to care and cleanliness. During the installation, my curtain rod was broken and I was not notified. When fishing the cord through the wall, my doorbell was left on the ground, and a camera that was already installed was placed in the grass. My previous control panel and trash were also left laying on the floor. I felt like the focus was more on completing the job and getting paid rather than being respectful of my home and my belongings. Better attention to detail and care for customers’ property would have made this a much better experience.

Both Noah in Sales and the installer Bret were very helpful and pleasant. Noah gave full transparency and laid out all Vivint had to offer. Bret did a GREAT job installing our system quickly the same day we purchased and the install was definitely up to our standards. Would definitely recommend.

Overall, the installation was smooth. I will say that not all of the proper information was communicated by the sales team. But that is not what impacted the install. The install was smooth, there was no mess, and the installer was friendly, professional, detailed, and fast.

Our salesperson, Brian was great. He explained the benefits and answered all of our questions quickly. I loved that he was accommodating with scheduling to go over everything with my mother as well, since we make decisions for our house together. Our installation tech, Michael was amazing as well. He was able to arrive less than an hour after our sales agreement was completed, get all of our equipment installed, and even offered thoughts and opinions on placement to give us the best coverage with the equipment.
Michael's patience was tested by our internet and a few other little hiccups, but you would have never been able to tell. His supervisor was also a great help in wrapping up some of the few issues that popped up, and even came out to our home to help when a video call wasn't enough. I apologize for not remembering his name. Overall we are sincerely impressed with the professionalism, speed, and attitude presented by all three gentleman. I've already spent the last 24 hours telling all of my friends about my new awesome security system.

Mike was my tech and was very informative and took his time with explaining. He told me step-by-step on what we had. We did a walk-through. He was very diligent and everything. He tested everything before he left. Now use the error of time my time to mess up.😃 I’m glad I picked them. If you ever have the service and you know someone that has a service take the referral package. Refer somebody they look out for you. They can finance it. It’s great and it runs by solar and not buy Internet so if a storm comes in, you don’t lose power. You don’t lose access to your alarm system. Happy New Year.

Vivint customer over four yrs. If you need help the best thing you're going to get is DIY instructions to try to fix it yourself. My neighbors beeps when I Walk out my door across the park sometimes mine will recognize me when I walk by it. Notifications Won't go past chain link fence.

Doug was punctual upon arrival as he mentioned with his courtesy text/phone call. He was cordial in his greeting and his departure. He explained the install process in simple and easily understandable literature and vernacular. He worked quietl. Not interrupting my wife’s daily routine. I appreciate his organizational set up and his clean up at the end. You would not have noticed he was ever in the home except the quality install work left behind. He even intercepted a possible conflict that could have resulted because of an apparent double booking when a second Vivint installer arrived. He assured us, it seldom if ever happens, to not worry. Do not install Vivint in your home! Now I do not have a property to install, they have threaten me and will not stop charging me monthly when I do not owe Vivint! I was told I could never cancel service although I paid thousands for the equipment! On OCT 10, 2025, I requested service be discontinued and had a technician to remove the equipment from the rental property.
The service bill continued to come out of my account, but I do not have service. I called and asked why Vivint is still charging me when I requested service to stop once they removed the equipment on Oct 10, 2025! Two ** representatives bullied me and threatened me! They both tried to use a scare technique although I told them I do not have a property. I was told I could never discontinue VIVINT service and I had to provide referrals. Bullshit!
I fear my life because the representative spoke to me like they was going to come after me! I do not have a home and I was told I better provide them with the new renters information. I do not own the rental home I moved out of, so how could I provide information of people I do not know nor do I know if the home is being rented! I do not have a place to connect VIVINT equipment! May I add I paid for in full in 2021!
I do not owe VIVINT! The representative refuse to discontinue the service. Do not use Vivint! The minute you do not need service the nice people turn to evil people! I was a customer from 2018-Oct 2025, now I have been threatened and constantly being charged for a service that I do not have anymore! I followed all steps!

Vivint is, without question, the most frustrating and unprofessional security company I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service is awful, not just unhelpful, but downright rude. They constantly call for “check-ins,” and when I politely decline their surveys, I’ve been berated. I’ve literally been asked, “Why wouldn’t you want to help other people?” and “Why wouldn’t you want to help me?” Absolutely unacceptable behavior from any company, let alone one selling “security.”
But the real nightmare starts when you try to cancel. It has taken me four different customer service reps, each one transferring me to another layer of “verification.” I’ve had to enter multiple email confirmation codes, multiple text verification codes, and repeat the same information over and over again, all just to cancel a service I no longer want. The process feels intentionally exhausting, like they’re hoping you’ll give up. Vivint makes something as simple as canceling a subscription feel like a hostage negotiation. This company is a joke, and I genuinely do not understand how they’re still in business. If you value your time, your sanity, or basic respect as a customer, avoid Vivint at all costs.

I was with Vivint for 10 years. After 5 years when my equipment was paid off it started not working properly and really sucked. I called to cancel and was offered a 22 dollar a month plan just to keep the service going so I could still use the cameras. That was fine for awhile, then I started getting false alarms a lot and even had the fire dept sent twice. I finally switched over to a different camera system, and so came the time to call and cancel my service. I spent 53 min on a phone call trying to cancel the service. I probably said no I don't want that or no I'm not interested over 100 times. And they still kept trying to offer me something to stay. they do not listen to their customers, hell they don't listen to anyone. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever in my life. they are way to over priced, and it take s an act of GOD to cancel. But in case anyone does not want to go through what I just did.
I was informed by a supervisor at the end of the call that you can send them an email from the app top cancel. However I did just do my own research and what he told me was a flat out lie. If you go to legal in the app and then terms and conditions, it does not say that you can send them an email to cancel like I was told. It only gives you the phone number to cancel. So anyone making the huge mistake of signing up with this company, just know that someday when you go to cancel they do not make it easy to do so and you will have to set aside at least 45 min of your time to sit on a phone call while they go through their long spiel and try to offer you everything to stay. No thank you, and so glad that I am free from this company.

I haven’t had any truly bad experiences, but I do think the business practices could be better. My experience with Vivint has been mixed. I’ve had a front door camera for years that alerts at the slightest movement, sensors that were suddenly “no longer compatible,” and other equipment I was told was obsolete—only for it to become usable again after the new parent company took over.
Now solicitors are going door-to-door pushing “free” equipment upgrades due to new ownership. But right after calling the upgrade free, they immediately explain how much I’ll be paying for it over the next 60 months. On top of that, they also fail to mention the hard credit inquiry until you’re already deep into the process and have agreed to the so-called upgrade. I’m now in a better financial position than when I first opened this account, and while I can afford the increase, I’m tired of being talked to like I won’t catch the misleading sales tactics. It’s frustrating and unnecessary.

Vivint is a horrible security company, don't trust them to keep your home safe!!! I made that horrible mistake only to be hacked several times, my panel was overridden multiple times to trigger my alarm, sent the police to my home from false alarms. Their secure panel flaws are the panel encryption options are a 4 digit number only and cell phone based. They removed web based options several years ago, and when your cellphone gets compromised which is the only option you have to use their service.... they blame your cell phone company or your phone!!!! My videos were deleted constantly and trespass onto my property occurred several times with the video footage being removed or the video footage was altered.
I was with Vivint for several years and had no issues until they decided to cut corners because they did not want to incur the expense of web based maintenance to secure and offer customers an option to not solely have to rely on mobile devices that you carry around everywhere you go and if breached everything is compromised including access to Vivint. When they offered web based system options, you did not have to login from a mobile device and had more security and protection. They refused to update the equipment or their encryption to allow for a stronger password, as a 4 number password is not that hard to hack!!! Several of my accounts were compromised due to once my phone was hacked through the Vivint App. Don't become a victim use another brand!!!!

It has only been a week. Door alarms installed on wrong doors. No return calls as indicated by sales person. 3 sheets to the wind. No instruction or education on systems installed, settings changes after update and now chimes and bells going off that I disabled. Phone panel /app do not sync. The tech I spoke with was patient and professional despite my frustration (positive). I felt more secure before this system. I can understand hiccups but within a week? ....Good luck.

This is not a ring camera. That’s what I first initially wanted to purchase and the salesperson didn’t explain that to me however, the installer did and it’s hardwired to your house so you don’t have to change out batteries or anything but it. I want to begin by acknowledging that Vivint’s technology and camera quality are generally solid. Unfortunately, the positive aspects end there. My experience with their sales tactics and customer service has been extremely disappointing. When I purchased the system, both the sales representative and the technician assured me that, because I was living in a rental property, they would repair any holes and restore everything to its original condition when I moved out. This was a critical point for me—especially since the exterior installation required drilling into areas exposed to the elements. Had I known I would ultimately be responsible for repairing this damage myself, I would not have moved forward with the purchase.
Four months later, after buying a new home, I contacted Vivint to schedule the system move. I was informed—unexpectedly—that it costs $150 to remove the equipment and another $150 to reinstall it. This was never disclosed at the time of sale. Worse, I was then told that Vivint does not provide hole repair or restoration, contradicting what I was originally promised. I was advised to hire my own handyman to fix the exterior damage. In other words, the very issue I specifically raised during the sales process—and was assured would not be a concern—has now become my responsibility. It feels like a classic bait-and-switch.
Customer service did not improve the situation. Already frustrated, I explained my concerns to the representative, who responded by reminding me that the call was being recorded—despite the fact that I had been calm and professional. He eventually offered to cover the handyman costs, though I was still frustrated at this point and didn’t verbally confirm. I went ahead and scheduled the equipment removal however, by that point I was seriously considering canceling my service altogether. The only hesitation is that I have already paid for the equipment, and while the cameras function, they do trigger frequently from dust and bugs despite claims to the contrary.
After cooling down, I realized I needed written confirmation of everything discussed. I checked my email and found no confirmation of the removal appointment, so I used the online chat to request documentation. The chat representative stated they couldn’t access the call notes or verify the offer to pay for the handyman. They simply reiterated that Vivint does not provide repair services—completely ignoring the fact that this had been misrepresented at the point of sale. The “confirmation” of my removal appointment was nothing more than a typed sentence in an email. Words of caution: If you choose to work with Vivint, get every verbal promise or answer to a critical question in writing. My experience has involved misleading sales assurances and poor customer service follow-through. Proceed carefully.

Ever since I got Vivint, I feel like Buddy the Elf personally watches over my home (minus the maple syrup spaghetti). The security cameras are so clear, I’m pretty sure I could spot Santa and all eight reindeer landing on my roof. If a raccoon even thinks about touching my trash can, Vivint sends me an alert faster than Buddy can yell “SANTA!!! I KNOW HIM!!!” Setup was smoother than sliding through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, through the sea of swirly-twirly gumdrops, and out the Lincoln Tunnel.

I have been trying to cancel service for 3 to 5 months. I paid for all equipment. After no charges on account they said it take 3 days to cancel. NOT TRUE. They charged me again and do the same all over again. Think about it. Vivint security will change charge to keep your service to lower. Put me on hold another 4 more times and I specifically say I don’t want the service anymore. I bought a home and hoa comes with alarm system. I no longer have lived or used the home or system for 2 months but they kept a .01 cent charge on my account so that when I call in now the .01 became $_40.00 until I pay that then they will close it. I did pay the first time but I no longer will pay charges for keeping me hostage with a company that force you to continue the services.
I sent an email. Called in. Ask to be sent to supervisors and waited 1. hour for supervisor and then disconnected. 2 hours or more on calls to disconnect services. I called. They again said call loyalty program. They can help. He was going to credit the $78. 00 because I said I left system then I was told for me to get new homeowners to get the services connected and when I said no they said, I have to then pay the balance $78.00. When they have documents that it has been 5 months trying to cancel their service. This is unbelievable how these companies are allowed to operate like this.

Citizens of El Paso TX please be aware of this Darrian ** or any one from Vivint who doesn’t send you a text message to authorize and accept the charges for their security system, he harrass people until you accept to talk to him and tell you a buchn of lies just to get your account and if you missing some equipment or you don’t agree with the prices or the bill, he stopped answering your calls or text messages, he offers you a one free month on my case. He told me 3 months and because he just asked you to sign electronically whatever he don’t explain to you what it is. You can’t see that you only have 3 days to cancel if you're not happy with the bullshit he said or sell you.
And when you call Vivint is nothing they can do since you signed something that you don’t know since he is always in a hurry and tell you I will send you the papers later. Remember Darrian ** or a Bustamante contractor is better to call Vivint and they will send you someone who go through with everything and it would be your choice to say yes or not.

My installer was AMAZING!! He gave me options and was honest about the install. I didn't think about the stoneface on the outside of my house and he told me there wouldn't be a way to connect the doorbell properly. Most people these days would have tried and jacked up the wall. Instead we swapped out for another camera. He also made sure the cameras were facing how I wanted them and showed me how to set the boundaries so that it doesn't go off with every car passing. He made sure everything worked as it should and answered all my questions. Showed me how to set and change everything as well. Very friendly even when he was having a couple issues.

The salesman introduced cyber Monday promotion items doesn’t added to my installation. When I asked, they said that it will increase monthly service fees…. But the salesman never mentioned it. Feeling the salesman’s explanation doesn’t match the final results.

First I want to tell you about the technician! If I could give 100 stars, Greggory ** made my experience so awesome. He arrived on time to an AM APPOINTMENT. He explained service in great detail. Even though I was a little he patiently waited without being rude. Gregory treated me like I arrived at the same time. I loved his customer service. Very polite! The install was quick and thorough…. For a single lady he made me feel safe on using the equipment in an emergency. I had ADT before and Vivint gives you so much bang for your buck and so many added features. I feel secure in my property! God bless this service.

Great sales representative, he explained everything well and helped us get the right package. The tech was great as well. She got everything connected and explained the use of the system. Everything was done within a few of hours from sign up to installation.

Loyal 5-year customer relocated from Texas to NH. Vivint cannot service my new address but attempted to charge $1,500+ early termination for a contract I never signed. Supervisor agreed this was unreasonable and personally promised account closure at zero cost. Promise was not honored. Two months later: late notices. Three months later: collections agency demanding more than originally stated. Made 15+ attempts to resolve via their calls (each putting me on 30+ min hold) and my own calls (30-45 min waits). Never resolved. Referred 10+ customers over the years. This is inexcusable treatment. Company does not stand behind supervisor promises.

Overall a 4. Customer reps are nice. Monthly fee is competitive. Equipment is too expensive and often malfunctions. I’ve had to tape my doorbell together for over a year and the camera works sometimes, but more consistently in the past six months or so.

They sell defective merchandise and can’t fix anything. I had to change the battery in my smoke detector. After I changed the battery, the smoke/CO detector continuously disconnects from the panel (every 8-12 hours). The tech support can’t seem to understand my problem, let alone fix it. A big reason I have the system is for the fire and CO monitoring. It’s a shame that Vivint can’t seem to overcome a basic battery change.

Had no problems with Vivint until I tried to cancel. Paid them in full. Then got charged multiple months afterwards. Then called to "cancel " a second time.. They simply put high pressure sales people on the phone who refused to let me cancel. They then transferred me from "department to department" several times; each claiming they cannot cancel the service. Then they claimed I still owed money with their credit union. So I conference in the credit union. The credit union stated the system was paid off in full and gave the date... Then the Vivint rep asked the bank "are you sure its paid off in full?".. Then with the bank still on the line the Vivint rep again tried to get me to transfer the service to my new home. The nerve of these people. Still no refund for the money vivint charged me over multiple months after being paid in full. Terrible service to cancel. Do not under any circumstances use this company. Worst customer service I've ever heard of.

My appointment with Vivint was on a Wednesday, was a no show, did not call. Also I had it Finance but after three hours with the technician on the phone with customer support I ended up paying for it outright. Not to mention I didn't get everything I should have.

Bobby walks me through everything and I’m well satisfied with his work ethic. He’s very knowledgeable in every aspect and very helpful in educating me. He installed sensors on all doors in and out and windows that are open. He also recommended a couple of things that make sense and it’s for my protection and safety.

The experience started off fine. Our thermostat stopped working with a few months, and we had a blizzard coming in several days. I spoke with 3 different reps for Vivint and they all seemed unempathetic about our situation. We were told it would take nearly a month to get our problem fixed. We ended up having to buy another thermostat with another company. A couple of months after that, the hub and door camera failed. Once again, I call Vivint for help and was told it would take a month for someone to fix it.
About 2 months later, we had new windows and doors installed. I called Vivint again to have someone come to fix our issues and set everything back up. I got talked into spending an additional $30.00 to expedite a technician to come to our home. After being told different days and several poor excuses, I finally told Vivint to cancel our services and to come get their equipment. I went to bank to cancel my card so they couldn't take money out of my account anymore. I found out they took money I put in the day I canceled my services. I have not heard from Vivint directly ever since, and no one has come to fix the problems. I wouldn't use this company again, nor would I recommend them either. We are going to go with a different company.

Defintinely want to start by saying DO NOT work with Zach ** (Rep at Vivint based out of Odessa, TX). He does not work directly out of the Vivint Offices. When I filed a complaint - they did not know who he was then found out he was hired as a street beater - contract worker going house to house making sales. The long and short of it is: he is a super aggressive salesman and threatens you with the "once I walk out your door this deal and all these savings I am getting for you will not longer be valid" spiel. He overuses the "now, that's a good question" statement. He had an installer start at 7pm in the evening and leave my house at 2am in the morning on a work night and still left the job incomplete. They never came back and finished the job because they had other jobs that they had gotten. What a POS.
I had to spend weeks with VIVINT getting everything cancelled and having to continuously call VIVINT to come pick up all the equipment which left holes everywhere. Can not say enough about what a POS it takes to do what he did to us and left this big mess for us to clean up. Buyer beware. DO NOT deal with ZACH **. VIVINT made us jump through hoops and gave us significant discounts to stay - but the damage was already done by ZACK.

Vivint is absolutely by far top tier horrible with customer service. Had a door to door salesman from Vivint talk me into signing up for a service that was not explained in a way that reflects the monetary value I was charged for. Of course when I called to cancel I end up being passed around from one customer service agent to another, and they can barely speak English and they just give you the run around the whole time. And when you ask for a supervisor they don’t want to get one and again just keep putting you on hold and transferring you until you get so irritated you just hang up. I wouldn’t recommend Vivint to ANYONE..there are far far farrrr better options out there. Don’t do it.

Hello, I just wanna say that my technician was really awesome. He was on time and I ran a little late so he was more than kind to wait. We ended up in a situation where the account wasn’t pulled with my other one because I have the system at another address. That transaction went really smooth. Really wonderful. Everything was great. In place. On time. Perfect set up. Everything. Walked me straight through the set up. Everything come to the second house I had it put in at. It was a horrible experience. The money wasn’t right. They took it up, but I can’t say that I spoke with the lady named Kim. She got everything together. She got my discounts together. She did get the price at reasonable where it should’ve been so I can say overall, I’m completely satisfied. The system is really nice. Works well with my phone so I do recommend them but make sure that you have the price together before you just talk to some random person in sales.

I did not have a good experience with Vivint. The service is good but the sales team is terrible. Very pushy and not upfront with pricing. As an existing customer it was time up upgrade a few things. After going through the whole sales pitch I finally got the actual price when signing. At the time of install, when all the work is done, they want me to sign for an amount 30% higher. Customer service is a foreign call center and the agents are difficult to understand. I was promised the original price but they have not contacted me to confirm the contract price.

My technician came with attitude, made me feel like I didn’t want my purchase no more & was super cocky when it came to naming the price of whatever add ons I was interested in. I will be withdrawing my service, I apologize in advance. I didn’t get the same customer service I’ve received with the sales rep Andrew so it’s not fully Vivint, it was the technician. Also some of my features aren’t fully working.
