Amazing customer service, products, and surveillance.

Jordan was a great salesperson and got me a much better security system for the same price we were paying for ADT. He was convincing professional and really knew the ins and outs of the system. Keith, our technician, worked with our schedule and got our security system installed promptly and expertly. I was so impressed by both Jordan and Keith and we are really happy with our new system. I could not have asked for a better experience.

The representative and installers were more than helpful and polite.

Install was good. Took care of any issues on the spot. Install person was nice and understanding.

I am dissatisfied with the new installment and I'm thinking about going back to ADT. I sent a review a day ago and no one has reached out to me and no one has contacted me to discuss the $500 payment due to ADT. The customer service is horrible. I need someone to call me to discuss the items that were missed. For example, the back door is missing an alarm panel.

Vivint is not a good company to get your security monitoring from. When you need support they try to sell you on upgrades and then encourage you to buy the protection plan so that anything that malfunctions or is not working will be replaced, but that is not true. They just restart the equipment and then if it works for 5 minutes they will not replace anything saying it’s working now. They are over priced and shady to do business with.

Clean up after installation, troubleshooting, and fixing all Vivint inoperable equipment (i.e., smoke detector not registering on system panel.) I have not received contact from service support on how to fix the issue!

This company is a mess. Offered 3 day free trial. Tried to cancel that trial. Had to be put on hold multiple times for 45 mins just to be transferred to a different department. Finally I just closed out my banking account so no further payment are taken.

Did not expect to switch over to Vivint, but Pieter was amazing and helpful. He did everything he could to get a good deal. The products and accessibility is great!

Everything was explained very clearly and concisely. The equipment is user-friendly and everything so far is so good. I was shocked that we had it installed same day. The technician that came out did a great job and cleaned up after himself. Then the salesman stop by later on that day to make sure we knew how to use everything and we're happy with how the installation went. Really great customer service.

We already had an alarm system for our home. Zack was pleasant and simply shared Vivint’s qualities, which I soon realized superseded our current system. I invited him inside to learn more. We signed with Vivint and I am very pleased. The cameras are far better and they run 24/7, unlike our previous alarm company. I am a happy customer… I would highly recommend them.

Both sales rep Kateylee and Installer, Tyson were both very professional and very knowledgeable of the product,. You’ve hired a couple of good ambassadors. Bought and put in same day.

Everyone was super friendly and kind, system seems to work great. They came out quickly and installed, showed us how to use everything. Only improvement I could suggest is making sure the technician cleans up before they leave.

Peyton was respectful from the start. When I asked him to come back the following day he did! He asked what I was looking for and found me a plan and way to move to a better security system than I had. The installer Chris was very pleasant, knowledgeable and fast! He explained everything he needed to do and made sure I was ok with it. I have a more secure home in one day! Thanks!

Both customer service agent and technician were very professional and got it done with no problems in a timely manner and even were good about explaining the financing and everything like that so I’m extremely pleased esp because it was all done on a Saturday and that’s really the only time I’ll ever be available.

Carlos was an excellent sales associate and explained the system well. I was impressed that they came and installed that same evening.

Jean and his team installed a home security system at our home. I was skeptical at first but after the presentation my wife and I decided to go ahead and have one installed. Jacob and Kevin came over and had it installed within a couple of hours. They thoroughly explained how to work the system, cleaned up and moved on to their next install. We are very impressed with attitudes and skills. Truly professional and a pleasure to work with! Thank you all!

Although the tech was here late he did a great job. He even called in reinforcements to help get it done faster. They were quick and professional and were just all around some cool dudes. The camera views are great and better than ADT as promised so me and my family are satisfied. Also Kevin the sales rep is a great sales rep. Keep him around forever!

Everything went fine. The technician was very knowledgeable and very courtesy. He cleaned up behind himself. No problem. I will give him 100% reading. Your salesman are so so a nice person very knowledgeable. I give him also 100% reading.

We’ve been trying to get back to Vivint for 3 years now but we were under contract with another company! We thought we would benefit from going elsewhere, but we were very mistaken! Vivint has been a great company with great products and great customer service, clear back 12 years ago when we first signed on in 2011. So glad we’re back!!!

The installer was very professional. He explained and showed how the system works.

Technician, Ryder was extremely patient and very thorough in his work. Job took way longer that anticipated and he maintained professionalism and kindness throughout the job. Very impressive.

So far everything is good from installation to communication. Easy install. Easy panel to work with. Love it.

Service was great, installation was great. Product is subpar. Nothing is hardwired, and it’s almost as if they took a DIY system or product and built a company around it. Everything plugs into wall sockets, giving me less availability, and honestly, I could’ve installed everything myself. I paid for all of the equipment up front, equaling thousands of dollars, so that I would have a cheaper monthly bill. After speaking with others, they’re paying roughly the same amount I pay, even though I purchased all of my equipment up front. If I didn’t already have an alarm system and cameras, it may have been a good investment, but I already had everything, so it may not have been a worthy investment for me personally.

Team was very easy to work with! Braxton was knowledgeable and was willing to work with our budget while getting us what we felt we needed. Our technician was fantastic!!! Install was quick and he even went the extra mile to vacuum after drilling into the walls. Overall, Vivint already seems like a better value for our dollar compared to our old security system.

An absolute nightmare trying to cancel my account. Holding me hostage for a fee of over $1,000.00! Asked about canceling the service when the sales rep was at my house and was told there's nothing attached. Fat lie!! Arrogant representative on the phone telling me I have to pay for the equipment to cancel. This is after the first representative hung up when I stated that I was going to cancel my service. He never called back even though I just gave him all my info to continue to call. Absolutely a horrible business to deal with.

They walked me through everything and made sure I understand our new system. I recommend.

Outstanding service from Sales to Instillation. Installer was excellent.

Both Skyler the salesman and Tim the installer went above and beyond to make my mother and I comfortable with the way the system works. The installation was a breeze and Tim cleaned up and was very professional and pleasant to have Timmy home.

We replaced our ADT system with Vivint and are very happy with the new features and capabilities. Our ADT system had a door bell camera but it only supported recording 15 second clips. The Vivint product gives us continuous recording and up to 7 days of playback. We have the same for a light and camera above the garage. The system is far more modern compared to our old ADT system. The installation was very quick and professional as well.

I’m pleased overall with the upgrades made to my Vivint system. However later, I found one of my older keypads wasn’t responding appropriately to app or panel. Frustrating!

Yong Lin was very professional and it easy to communicate with. I was confident with the work he did that was not less than exceptional. He checked everything with the system was working properly. I am pleased with the service provided. I will recommend others who are interested in a monitoring system for their home Vivint as long as those representatives and technicians are knowledgeable, cordial and respectful like I’ve encountered.

I am pleased with the Vivint technicians, they were knowledgeable about their job and they kept informing me about what each step of the set was about and advised me about the best location for our cameras.

All interactions I have had with Vivint Representatives have been very professional and courteous and informed me of all options that can save me money on my security system.

I literally have no complaints! The tech who came to hook everything up very professionally and neat with everything. Even the rep who came out first to tell me about Vivint was awesome!!! I already love my system and had it for one day.

I have had Vivint for over 11 years. I never really utilized any of the services and finally called to cancel. I was on the phone for close to an hour with 2 different representatives. The first one was nice enough, tried to sell me other options and I repeated I just wanted to cancel the account about 7 times. He then transferred me to the loyalty department where I was put on to a tone deaf person. She repeatedly also tried to give me options and I kept saying I wanted to cancel the account as of today. Over and over again I repeated I wanted to cancel the account. She kept putting me on hold for her to check options on my account as if it was her decision on how I wanted to proceed. I completely lost my temper and yelled at her cancel the account, cancel the account, cancel the account.

Only the 1st day of having service but so far so good. Tyler was the sales rep and Ethan was the tech installer. Both were very professional and helpful during the process.

As a potential customer I was reading quite a few reviews about Vivint. Seems the Sales and tech teams are good as experienced myself (very polite and cordial) but Vivint seems to have the worst customer service. This happens when you can’t connect to a service center stateside. Also, how come that basically all reviews show 5 stars for excellent reviews when the content shows differently??

My technician was knowledgeable and very professional. He cleaned after himself and showed consideration. He made sure I understood how to use my system and gave recommendations but was not pushy.

I got Vivint home security and got rid of my ring products. I like how secure it is compared to a simple camera. Nice to have an emergency number due to my health.

The young man who sold us the Vivint System was honest and didn’t push us in any way. We trusted him. The young man who installed the program was skilled and obviously intent on doing a good job. He was caring and patient with us as we are seniors and this was new technology for us. We thank them both!

Brady- salesman- came to my door one evening and gave my husband and I the whole sales pitch. Sold us on the fact that we had 30 days to decide if we liked the system after install and could call and cancel anytime in that time frame and they would cancel and pick up all the equipment. He also promised we would get the first two months free if we signed up that night. ALL LIES!!! So disappointed in the sales and install also. I told him the next time he told a lie to do better and tell the truth. Now we are stuck with a system that we do not like and wish we could return.

After being victim of a crime, I reached out to Vivint and obtained their services. All Vivint reps, from sales to installation technicians, treated me with professionalism.

Everything went smoothly. My Vivint installation tech Louis was great. We started by walking the house discussing equipment placement inside and outside. Then he proceeded with the install. Communication was excellent. Once all was done, system checked, he instructed me on downloading app on both my iPhone & iPad, explained functions and went through each screen with me till I felt confident. 10/10 Am 100% satisfied. Vivint was recommended by my nextdoor neighbor and I understand why.

Overall amazing. The guy who set us up, Lane was amazing. The tech that came out to install was amazing as well I don't remember his name unfortunately. It was an amazing deal, I got transferred after renewing my electric supplier and the deal was a steal. We love our system & it definitely helps us feel safer & more in control when we're not home. The only downside I've noticed at all is the control panel being slow, not responding to touches, and staples falling out. Besides that everything is great and we're very happy with it. We've already recommended to several friends & family. It was very exciting.

BEWARE of Vivint! My experience with this company has been nothing but unsatisfactory! I would not do business with Vivint if you can help it. Thus are not a honest nor a dependable company like Ring! I made the biggest mistake of my life by giving them a chance. Nothing, and I mean nothing had been what they say, they tack on charges for everything, you cannot see more than 14 days of video recording, it’s $50 plus monthly to just have the system after paying over $3000 for the system! Horrible horrible service. They hang up on you and do not ever buy nothing from the website,! They do not want to refund your monies.

I love the equipment and security. I feel however that I was left not really knowing what to do with the buy out of my current ADT contract. And my attempts to try and deal with that have failed thus far.

I owned two homes and split time between both properties. My wife is retiring, and we recently decided to sell one home and permanently live in the other. I have been a loyal Vivint customer for nine years, and all of the equipment at both homes had been fully paid off for years. Because of that, I expected canceling service at the home we were selling to be simple. I only wanted to stop service at that property and leave the equipment for the new owner in case they wanted to activate service themselves.

Tyler was great, walked thru explained what was scheduled, what was already here, what needed to be done, and what and where things would work out best. Went to work set everything up and then walked me thru the whole process step by step. Answered many questions so I can understand the system. Cleaned up and went on his way. Fantastic.

Your company is false advertising and not being clear about your service. I will warn everyone I know to turn anyone from Vivint away..

I used to have ADT and can genuinely say I’m happy with my service so far from Vivint, the cameras have a wider angle and the pad screen is easy to manage.

Very displeased with the rep sent to my home. He was pushy, inconsistent, disrespectful and left out a lot of information. I was billed for equipment I did not receive/purchase and had a lot of fees applied that were not told to me. I plan on canceling soon.

I just got the service so I don’t really know how it is, but I can tell you how the installation went. They made a mess. They left other stuff there. The trash was left on my doorway. They were very demanding they were at a time they didn’t have time to put my stuff on the wall. They told me that I’d have to do that myself so am I happy? No and then when I looked at my bill, the permit promotion Wasn’t applied.

We were very pleased with the professionalism of the salesperson and the installation team. The salesperson is adamant in making sure we understand the capabilities of the equipment.

Vivint service has been good so far. Very attentive customer service and great security products. I'm currently with ADT before Vivint and ADT have window break sensors that VIVINT doesn’t offer which is a concern. I'm not sure how this would work out. But I’m willing to try them out for a year and check what they can best offer.

PROs: Love the system, easy to use. But it's very pricey! CONs: Sales people pulled some sneaky tricks. I was charged a "finical fee" even though I paid for my equipment in full. Difficult getting help with ANY issues, billing or equipment. One phone number for all departments or you can try to chat online. However, even while speaking with a live person online, that person can not help you and you're stuck calling a number and being routed through several departments before getting to the correct one and hope you don't get disconnected. Then, you're told everything is taken care of, only to discover that it is NOT!

Great technician!!! Explained everything great and made sure we understood everything before he left. He made sure we knew what equipment we were getting and gave us the best insight on them and was just overall a good experience w Vivint.

So far is great awesome people. Just didn’t like we had to do a hard credit inquiry for no reason but other than that I love it.

I have been with Vivint since 2020 and have used them on two properties. Customer service is always available and understanding of issues. I find their systems easy to use and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

So far, everything has been great. Brian started us off, and has been amazing. Even checking up on us before the install with Damon. Damon was amazing too, walked us through our whole system. Both of which encouraged questions.

Generally have had a good experience with Vivint. However, the technician installed a camera too low to detect someone coming up the driveway (blocked by a pickup truck). But to fix this, I was charged $174. Make sure cameras/detectors work as expected BEFORE the technician leaves.

The sales rep was very nice, but even I even says it was too good to be true. He didn’t explain that I was actually financing the doorbell and camera upfront. The contractor came to install the equipment at about 8:30 pm I didn’t think it would take till about 10:30 pm. Not until he sent me a link to sign for the installation did I see I was financing a little over $2,800. I let him know I wasn’t signing because that was too much money, and no one explained that to me. He let me know there was a 3-business-day cancellation with no fees. It was just not a good experience and felt like I was misled.

I honestly love the technician. He went over the product very well and answered all the questions I had. He was very polite and professional. Only thing I did not like was the fact that it was a hard inquiry on my credit especially for a alarm system but I’m happy so far with the products.

The workers are great and super nice, they work fast and efficient. The products are really easy to operate and work amazingly.

Having a control panel in our main living space makes so much sense so that when we have someone come to the door we can automatically see it on the screen without having to pull out our phone to check the app. This makes it even more helpful for my children to see who is at the door before they open it, thinking it’s just a friend coming to play, this way is so much safer for all involved!

We recently had our Vivint security system installed, and the experience was great from start to finish! Our technician Stephen ** was incredibly professional, arriving on time with plenty of notice, and took the time to walk us through the entire set up process and how to properly use the system. He was meticulous with the installation, ensuring everything was positioned perfectly and working correctly before he left. It’s rare to find such high quality service! I haven’t had the opportunity to use it very long as it’s just been installed. The installation process was not too bad. The tech that installed it was very knowledgeable and able to complete the task in a very short amount of time. Set up and learning how to use. The system was extremely easy.

A very professional organization. The salesman had a very attentive ear. He listened patiently to the security concerns I have as a senior citizen. The information he provided addressed those concerns. The installation of the system was accomplished the same evening. The installer took his time explaining to me how the system worked and how to activate the security elements, cameras, lights and voice. The process was very smooth from the sale, financing, installing and activating the security barrier to my home.

I had an amazing experience working with Kole at Vivint. From the very first point of contact, he was attentive, professional, and truly focused on making sure everything went smoothly. We have Vivint at all of our homes. That should tell you something.

Covey Homes New Hampstead has been professionally and kindly requesting that Vivint stop sending representatives onto our private property since January 2025. We are a privately owned community and do not welcome solicitors. Despite multiple emails, phone calls, and direct verbal requests to reps on-site, the solicitation continues monthly. Your representatives are bypassing our leasing office and going door-to-door to sell products that our homes are already equipped with. This is not only a violation of our property rights but is also upsetting and disruptive to our residents.

Has a really great people come in and sell me the security system. As long as coming in with a fast install and teaching us everything that needed to be done through the app to shut off how to turn on I would recommend this to a lot of people in my neighborhood.

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The technician who handled my installation was incredibly kind, professional, and patient. He took his time to walk me through everything step by step, making sure I fully understood how everything worked before he left. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience, but it was very clear that he takes pride in his work. He didn’t rush the process, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was set up perfectly. Because of him, this was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had. I highly recommend this company, and I truly hope he gets the recognition he deserves for going above and beyond.

Excellent service and customer service representatives! Great promotions, not too heavy on your face on the marketing. They listen, help you understand. Very polite team. Very detail-oriented and ensures you get the best quality service and very competitive rates!

The sales guy, Devin, was very informative without being overly pushy. The installer, Matt, was great, clean installation and showed us how everything worked. The equipment is working well so far, love that I can now control my garage doors remotely.

My experience with Vivint has been mostly positive. The system itself works well and gives me peace of mind, especially with the mobile app letting me check things remotely. Installation was smooth, and everything was explained clearly. It is on the pricier side compared to some other options, and I wish the contracts were a bit more flexible. But overall, it’s reliable and does what it’s supposed to do.

The young men were very respectful and courteous and answered my questions promptly, whereas I could understand them. They showed me how to operate the alarm system.

They REFUSE to cancel service. They will tell you it is canceled and continue to bill you. My wife just lost 2 hours of her life trying to argue that we didn't want their service anymore. Customer service is EXTREMELY RUDE in this process too. They lie about their e-mail address and their processes. End result, we canceled the credit card and filed a dispute for the 2 months of over billage. STAY AWAY.

Alex from Vivint did a really good job. He was professional, responsive, and made the whole process smooth and easy. I appreciated how clear he was with communication and how quickly everything was handled. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend working with him.

I cancelled my service with Vivint in February 2026 after an hour-long call being passed between multiple agents. I was told my account was cancelled. Now I’m being billed anyway. No explanation, no prior notice, no transparency. After doing some research, it’s clear I’m not the only one this has happened to. This looks like a recurring issue where customers are billed after cancellation and forced to fight to fix it. This is not just poor customer service. It’s a broken process at best, and at worst, a system that benefits from customers giving up. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company.

I'm a new and I mean Very New customer not even 24 hrs in and I'm having trouble with getting a service guy out here to finish the installation of the system. It took these guys until almost 11pm to get the system up and soon after they left the cameras went out. Now I've been waiting all day for someone to come and take a look at what's the problem.

I have Vivint for over 5 years. I am happy with the service. In the beginning, I had issues with my doorbell camera. Which one of the technician. Who did not give up until he was able to resolve the issue. I am happy they have people. Who love what they do, working at Vivint. It makes a difference as to your decision to continue being a customer.

I am really impressed with my home security system. I feel safe and secure in my home. The tech explained everything in laymen terms.
