This company has a great team. They are friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely care about people. Their service is also fast and easy to get installed. I already had a security system installed, but changed to Vivint because of all the extra safety measures with Vivint. 5 stars all around.

Installation went so smoothly. From the minute the technician, Alex, walked in, I knew we were in great hands. He took the time to chat with us about our needs & concerns & walked around the house with us to figure out the best placement for equipment. He took his time & left no eyesore cords hanging. He was very informative & got us all connected on the app before he left. Of course, we just got up & running, but it seems easy to navigate & the cameras have great image quality.

Installation expert was friendly and answered all my questions.

Everyone one very friendly and the salesman explained everything to me and showed me how everything goes and I like what was done. Justin put everything together for me with simple instructions and Keden came back to make sure I was comfortable with the system.

My husband and I researched security services and feel Vivint was our best option. Alex, Cody, Jamieson, and Jason were very professional in meeting all our questions and installation.

I signed up because the rep Brandon was such a kind and honest salesman. He took his time and I didn’t feel forced. It took a while for the technician to come but I was comfortable waiting with Brandon. The technician was Cody and he was great. Brandon said something to the effect I would be happy and so far it hasn’t been 24 hours but I’m happy.

Two weeks ago, I called and scheduled an appointment with Vivint to reinstall two cameras after the work on my house was completed. My appointment was scheduled for 04/30/2026 at 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Last night, I chatted with someone and was told that my appointment was moved to 05/01/2026 at 3:30 a.m., which would be when I would be asleep.

Very competent technician with very useful recommendations. Unfortunately, the accounting side of the intervention is a muddle. The original quote from Vivint, the computation by the technician and the messages from the lending department give different figures.

Every person that I have spoken with has been knowledgeable and friendly, able to answer and address my questions, and help me with honesty. It was like a breath of fresh air having my Vivint system installed. Blake came to my home to install the system today and he was the actual best. He took the time to explain what he was going to do, make sure I was satisfied with the placement and positioning and went over everything I needed to know from downloading the app on my phone to working the control panel and everything in between. He was kind and honest and did a wonderful job! The best part is I can always contact him directly if I have any questions or need anything fixed or replaced. This level of customer service is incredible, and I am so happy with the entire package.

My experience within previously was amazing and due to finances we had to let them go. Reactivating service has been one of the best choices I've made and I'm really excited to get things going again. They made reactivation quick easy and we're willing to work with me to make sure my payments are going to be affordable so that we can have them for yours to come! Camera quality is fantastic. We never have an issue with the devices or the app. 10 out of 10 for customer service across the board!

I’m not normally one to purchase anything from a salesperson that shows up on my doorstep but Dallas made a great impression. Not only was he the most respectful person to approach my door but he went the extra mile to make sure my entire experience was as pleasant as he could. He was thorough and made sure I understood everything upfront as well as after install he was there every step to make sure it was all up to my standards. I’ve had Xfinity security for the last 6 years and I’m glad to say I made the switch to Vivint!

If I could give Vivint zero stars, I would. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. The sales person misrepresented the services, pricing, and contract terms. The sales process felt extremely deceptive. The representative who came to our home was pushy and, frankly, dishonest. I told him multiple times that I couldn’t afford the system, yet he kept returning with lower prices, which immediately raised red flags about how inflated the original offer must have been. I should have walked away at that point but did need a security system. He also tried to upsell unnecessary equipment, and although we declined, he still slipped in a monitoring device for the backyard that we never agreed to. We didn’t catch it until it was too late.

Very nice and professional. The entire process was easy and they made sure we were 100% good before leaving. Trace was amazing with getting us back up and running and scheduling our technician to come out within an hour’s time.

I recently moved to Vivint and purchased a lot of equipment. From the first cal through installation I was very pleased with their understanding of the equipment and services they offer. I appreciated the installer providing detailed information on each item available. He listened to my concerns with security and was able to guide me with equipment that is best suited to my needs. This was extremely helpful and I was able to make an educated decision on what I needed. Although the installation took awhile, the installer explained every step of the process. He then went through showing how to work the panel, understand what each part means and what the expectation is for each action. I appreciated the dedication to ensuring I was happy with my install and ready to move forward with my system.

The Tech that came to my home was absolutely amazing! He was very kind and considerate and professional! He knows the product well! And I would recommend him anytime!

It wont let submit without a ⭐️ so I had to give one. Hell if I asked me, they don't deserve any based on my experience. These people are scammers. I regret ever doing business with them, they bait and switch and then act as if you are the crazy one. Please stay away from them!!!

Pending one equipment for installation but other than that was a great service.

Sean was an efficient and thorough installer. I have the system at our other house, but there were still some questions to answer. Sean was patient and answered all questions. I forgot to ask about the yard sign, but that was a quick chat with Vivint. All taken care of!

The installers left over an hour ago and did not notify us that they were leaving also left my house a mess to clean up and left my attic open, and did not finish walking through the steps with the alarm system. Now, it advising my garage door is open, but it’s actually closed🤦🏾‍♀️. House is not arming as it advising the garage door is open🤦🏾‍♀️ and also the price is different than what was advised. We were advised to get with you on that as well from the installers. This is a terrible way to start business with a client.

Hello, I’m Gary. I love my alarm system the salesman. Josh was great. He even came back and looked at my alarm and make sure everything was good. The installers were very professional really good. I trust this company to all my family and friends. Oh and great price for what you get.

I recently became a new client and received the doorbell camera, and door sensors with the control panel and was able to get it installed the same day. Although the video/camera footage is clear with a wide view angle which is amazing, I was not happy using it when I needed to speak to anyone that came to my door. Every time I pressed and hold the button to talk, the screen would freeze and the talking on the other end is delayed and I would have to wait a few seconds for it to get back to normal in order for me to try to talk. I didn’t like the fact that with I had to keep asking what they said or they ask me what I said because it’s difficult to hear sometimes.

I am very satisfied with my new security system. It is very user friendly and the technician gave me a thorough understanding of system features.

I just moved and signed on with ADT. It wasn't even a week before we made the switch to Vivint. The service, honesty and tech makes up for the cost. I SEE THE VALUE. You can't put a price on safety not to mention same day installation. I have Vivint. So does my family.

Sheldon, the sales Representative was very professional. Daniel, the installer, was also very professional and both were very easy to work with.

Very quick and thorough, our installer, John ** was very knowledgeable and explained how to use all the equipment and made it simple.

Process from sign up to installation was easy. Representatives were courteous and friendly. No fast talking and no rush.

Very difficult to cancel the account. You have to call several times as they disconnect the call and never call back, so every time it is all over start.

I have tried for 3 months to cancel service because I moved and no longer needed their service. I paid off equipment and paid early termination fee and am still being charged monthly fee. I've never had such a horrible/dishonest experience.

So far so good. I definitely recommend this product. Set up was easy..

Not happy with the service after the sale..I have chatted to try to solve our issues with our system, unfortunately we have chatted three times...and it has not worked..so I asked for a technician..but they still want to chat instead of fixing the issue by simply sending a technician out to handle it. Our panel is not communicating so that's an equipment issue..Our system has been down for 3 weeks..We were told tonight that they don't have record of us purchasing cameras or a system from VIVINT, this is so disappointing...All we want is our alarm fixed.

I was mislead about the service that it would only be one bill. The representative that came out took my phone and set me up with Fortiva 4000 for the equipment i want to press charges, Then I disconnected the service because they wouldn’t take me off the contract 2 days later, they have services currently under my name since December, ruining my credit when my account expired in December, it’s 2 accounts open at 1 house, along with a 4000 credit card from their rep. I never agreed to any of this, you talk to 500 people and nobody fixes the problem, I was lied to and deceived,.

I can’t recommend Giovanni enough! He recently helped us install our Vivint alarm camera system and doorbell, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. Giovanni is clearly an expert who knows these systems inside and out. He was professional, efficient, and took the time to ensure every camera was positioned perfectly for the best coverage. He didn't just "install and leave"—he made sure everything was synced correctly to our devices and that we felt comfortable using the app.

Everyone was amazing and super nice and helpful. We couldn't put the camera where we had our last one because it was too far away and we are paying more than ADT but also getting better and more equipment.

Sales came regarding billing. He set up the service call and they came same day. Prompt courteous service and explained everything about the new equipment.

Ever since I been with Vivint cost me more money and then they have account with Bread Pay which made it even worst. They are some of scammers when come to pay. You make payments and they change dates. Are trying get extra money out you.

I really love our new system. It keeps my mind at ease knowing we have it now! The set up process doesn’t take super long once you fill all the paperwork out! I highly recommend and Davis is super helpful and nice!! :)

I recently had a great experience working with Will Need from Vivint. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through every part of the system without making it feel overwhelming or rushed. He helped set me up with a full smart home security package, including cameras, a smart door lock, smart fire alarm, and a smart thermostat. What stood out most was how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood how to use each feature before he left. Will wasn’t pushy like a lot of sales reps can be—he was straightforward, answered all my questions honestly, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. I feel much more secure in my home now and confident using the system. If you’re considering Vivint, I highly recommend asking for Will. He made a big difference in the experience.

Ok I just got this new security system called Vivint and let me tell you y’all it’s awesome. I had this agent named Angel and he was perfect. You hear me perfect and the guy that did the installment. Vivint will not ever let you cancel. It’s as hard as launching nuclear missiles. They transfer you until you want to die a slow death. Even when you think they have released you, there is still one more step. Ridiculous.

The technicians were very professional, and neat. They took the time to explain any adjustments that needed to be made, they worked clean, and showed me how to use the equipment.

Our installer, Ed, did a great job, he explained everything to us very thoroughly and answered any and all questions we had!

Had the camera pro installed and my git a software upgrade. Sound on the panel is too low and camera detection is poor and in order for visitors or strangers who approach my door cannot tell if camera is functional unless the detector is on. Bad feature in my opinion. And this is a stupid way to get a review, why do I need to sign in.. bad experience all around.

It was actually a little scary how quickly everything went. Alex the sales rep stopped me as I was coming home from work. He went over everything and by the time we signed up, the techs were ready to install the system. I had a beautiful experience with the young man. Now I'm waiting for my two months over to see if I'm going to continue my service.

Stay away from this company! I just found out that not only did they put me on a loan to pay for equipment, which I paid off quickly, they had me on a high monthly payment to pay for more equipment! To my surprise I still owed $538 for equipment I thought was paid off when I finished my loan. I only found this out because I was moving and needed to cancel my service. The sales person did not disclose this to me. Oh, and it takes a three person transfer phone call to cancel service. Make sure you have about an hour to cancel service.

Lincoln came to our home last year and got us set up but we only just now got it this year because of a moving situation. He's very outgoing and the cameras are amazing. Great quality and a bunch of neat and cool features. The setup was incredibly fast, didn't take long at all and we have dogs to try to keep out of the way. Can't wait to see what else Vivint has to offer

Already had Vivint, but I spent some time with their team today and they ended up upgrading everything while we talked through updating our contract. Honestly, I didn’t expect things to move that fast. About 30 minutes later the installers showed up and got everything handled. My wife even gave them dinner, and the whole crew was super respectful the entire time. No pushy sales vibes at all, just easy to work with and professional. Genuinely impressed with how smooth the whole experience was.

Vivint, did a very good job installing my security system. They took their time and planned the positioning and placement of each camera perfectly. From the salesman to the installers everything was explained very clearly how to use the system. The pricing of their equipment (cameras, screen touch pad) are a bit pricey, but looking at the continuous recording and the 24/7 Montoring you can’t go wrong.

Our installation guy Ben ** was amazing, pleasant and patient. He was very hands-on, and took the time to help to make sure everything was right. Definitely would invite him to the cookout. Thanks Ben.

So far Vivint has been the best security company I've worked with. Sure it's a little pricey but you pay for quality and they try to work with you as much as possible.

We were totally pleased with our technician named Moises. He texted me well in advance to let me know when he would be arriving, then he was right there, if not a little bit early, which I didn’t mind at all. Moises introduced himself and was very professional and explained everything that he would be doing in terms we would understand. He also answered any questions we had for him thoroughly so that we were well informed about everything he was doing or changing out.

Sales rep was knowledgeable and not too pushy. Only had the system for a few days now but satisfied with the purchase overall.

Had a free doorbell and thermostat install due to energy company and ended up getting the whole security system. Tech that came out was very helpful answering all of my questions and installed all the equipment fast. Happy with the service provided and glad that the tech took the time to show us how to be proficient in the app before he left making sure we weren't left with any questions.

Swapped over from a different home security brand due to the offered tech upgrades for not much more. So far so good, cameras are crisp, notifications seem accurate, app is user-friendly, price was right.

I recently had one of Vivint’s employees install a camera installation in my home and I couldn’t be happier. They were professional from start to finish. They took the time to make sure everything was perfectly aligned. They also explained to me properly how to work everything, which saved me hours of confusion. I’ll definitely recommend and use them again for future security needs.

While the service provided during our over 10 years aaa great, when you decide to cancel your contract, paid off your equipment is whole other nightmare. We updated our equipment in 2023, but Dec 2024, paid it off. Contract reads, early termination fees unless buy out promise, you can terminate if your equipment is paid. Started trying to cancel in September 2025, have sent proof, talked on phone several times and have emails verifying we successfully paid off equipment and no fees. 7 months later and they still haven’t turned off. Giving run around, offering free months, then charge you. Sent me late fee bill because I finally blocked them from getting money out of my account. So cancellation of service is nightmare. After this experience, I will never use them again, don’t care how good their service was. Cost too much to give this much hassle!

The phone rep was very helpful and professional when setting up my install date. And the service rep asked us for placements and helped us understand our system, he was extremely professional and kind.

Should have done my research, if we had we would not have made this purchase. We were told if we didn’t want our system monitored all we had to do is make one phone call, not true at all. We called three times and each time talked to a person whose English was so poor we could not understand most of what they said. They also were reading from a script as each said the exact same thing and kept repeating. Each refused to cancel monitoring our system, transfer us to a supervisor or give their name. After telling the third we would cancel our purchase and have our credit card bank cancel payment we were placed on hold for several minutes. We were then told monitoring was canceled but she would not provide proof with a email. We are considering canceling the entire purchase which probably be next to impossible based on our experiences so far. We hope our review helps someone considering Vivint.

Overpriced. Poor installation. Salesman, Jordan was charming. But, I probably should have asked more detailed questions. How can the hardware be priced $4,000? A comparable system from Best Buy is under $500. I'm a bit mystified on what extra value I'm receiving.

During my Installation Davis was extremely professional and knowledgeable of what he was doing. We ran into a few problems but he was able to get everything situated and handled with ease. It was his demeanor that made me want to see getting it installed through.

BIGGEST SCAM!!! This has been one of the most dishonest and frustrating experiences I’ve dealt with. The sales rep who came to my home made promises he clearly had no authority to make—specifically that my ADT contract would be bought out and that my monthly rate would be $25. I was also told I wouldn’t need any equipment since I already had cameras.

Louise was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and convincing, I wasn't intending to sign up for Vivint yesterday, but at a later date, and she convinced me to invest now. The installer was professional, quick, and friendly, I forgot his name, but he helped a lot.

It seems fine initially, but it’s extremely pricey for what you get. Their equipment isn’t any better than Ring but it is a whole lot more expensive with long contract terms. Their equipment breaks down over time and you’re only option is the pay to have a professional installer come out and service or replace it. I would not recommend using Vivint!

I love Vivint, this is my 2nd system. Gave my 1st to my Mom & refer my girlfriend when I moved in with her. Now I'm on my own, had to get another. Can't Live without it lol. My installer David was Great, in & out & help add both houses to the appt💜💯🫶🏾.
