Great experience. Technician Chris was very professional and quick. Very knowledge and explained the whole system perfectly. From what we can tell so far this system is exactly what we needed for our home. We will recommend to other family and friends. We hope customer service if ever needed will be met with same professionalism. Our family now feels very secure. Great job.

We were excited to get our security system installed and operational after buying our home. James the technician was absolutely fantastic. He installed everything, I was shocked that I can't even see where the devices are. He explained how everything functioned and answered all of my questions. Couldn't have asked for a better technician.

The installer Mike was very helpful. He answered all of my questions and was timely. Vivint had all of the products I wanted in my home. They also had the best prices and quick scheduling of installation. I would recommend them to anyone. Excellent service and good quality products. They definitely beat out 2 other companies I contacted. You can add other services with the technician while they do the installation.

I really appreciate the variety of options Vivint provides for accessing and securing my home. Whether it’s from the security panel inside, my smartphone, or using the keypad on the smart lock, it all works intuitively and seamlessly. Being able to start small and scale up to more accessories over time is also a nice bonus. The technician who did the install was friendly and knowledgeable, and had no problem explaining features for each accessory he installed.

Zakrie was the absolute best! He was super friendly and informative. He was great around my kids and the job was completed pretty quick. I highly recommend Vivint! Their customer service was amazing and they’re super professional. All my questions were answered.

The installation went well. I just didn’t like a hard pull on my credit. It is a good service to have. I have had break-ins before. I’m hoping this avoids that. At the very least we will know what is going on even when we aren’t home.

The Sales Rep was deceitful and only cared about seeing how much commission he could make. However the Tech Robbi was great. He was professional and courteous. Because of Robbi's professionalism and integrity, Vivint is in good graces with us.

Great experience. My installment expert Lavon arrived within the expected time frame and he was very knowledgeable, professional, and skilled in installation, even around tricky corners. The system set up was easy to understand and the billing process was quick and easy.

The entire process from sales to installation was stress free and professional. The installation crew even cleaned up after themselves, noticed that we needed an additional door sensor (explained the additional cost) and chased a bee which flew in during install!

Both our office and home installers were friendly and helpful. We are grateful for them and love our new office and home alarm system! It is user friendly and we love the app. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs an alarm system.

Installed equipment in August 2021, first week camera went off line, talked to tech several times to reboot, it was decided to schedule tech visit. Scheduled 2 appointments but both were no shows, never got call they were not coming, called day before and confirmed and got email confirmation and called and confirmed 2 appt, still no show. Here it is December and no service. Called again, said the schedule office is closed and will call back. Waited 2 days called again, got same runaround, still waiting on call. Next is these reviews, BBB, and another site I can inform people.

The technician was professional and knowledgeable. Very fine gentleman. Will like to refer friends and family members to Vivint. The equipment is giving unfound love and joy to the kids.. The camera is crystal clear and the sensors catch the slightest motion.

Good and friendly installer, I will feel protected with my new alarm for me and my granddaughter front and backyard. Thank you Vivint and he cleaned up after he was done. I really liked that he had very good customer service.

You buy a house and think about all the upgrades you want to do to the backyard or kitchen. Getting a smart home-security system with Vivint is the first thing everyone should do. I feel so safe having the cameras and sensors in-place now. The peace of mind to pull the app anytime/anywhere is comforting.

The system was installed by someone who knew what they were doing. Let me tag along and ask questions about anything I wanted. He explained the ins and outs so I feel comfortable with the system. I'm glad I made the choice. The system is a bit on the pricey side but with the monthly payments I can make it work for me.

Darrius the sales consultant was beyond professional, relatable and honest pertaining to the Vivint system and comparing it to my Cox home system. His expertise and knowledge of Vivint was the ONLY reason that I chose to switch over even though I just purchased the fox home system outright a month ago when I purchased the home. Darrius was courtesy and stay in touched via phone calls to ensure that the installation process was performed correctly, to make sure I didn’t have any further questions and to also call me the day after to just check in on how everything was 24 hours later. Darrius truly is amazing representation of your company and needs to be compensated on another level.

Everything was perfect! Tech was knowledgeable regarding equipment and with teaching us how to use after setup! I feel much safer in our new home now that we have this security. It’s easy to use and the access with our phone is so convenient and efficient.

Would recommend to family and friends. Tech answered all our questions and was very understanding. Just wish the call center would have told us about some of the charges and told us the right service we were getting but tech made it easy.

Installation was fast, and done very clean. I didn’t have the tech install a doorbell, because my house exterior is asbestos paneling. Vivint should teach techs to identify this, as he had unknowingly worked on several houses with the same paneling in the past.

Conner’s customer service was impeccable!!! He was very thorough and he even made sure he cleaned up behind the dust from the drilling!!! Awesome personality as well. He is a great asset to Vivint and great example what all technicians should do when installing equipment.

Absolutely loved Benjamin’s customer service, he was absolutely wonderful and very funny. He engaged in conversation the entire time he was here, even cracked some jokes. He made sure to explain what everything was and how it all worked. He even recommended an equipment change for the windows saving me a couple bucks! I felt comfortable and safe having him in my home. He made sure to vacuum up the mess he made drilling the holes into the walls. 10/10 recommend and I look forward to being a customer with Vivint, I already feel safer in my home.

This morning Ariel installed my new security system and showed me how to use the hub and mobile app! He was very helpful and made sure I understood how to use all of the amazing devices he installed. The setup was an easy process even more so with a great technician.

The insulation guy was real polite. He picked all his trash up when he was done. He installed everything pretty quick and he explained how everything worked and showed me How to work everything and he showed me the set up on my phone and he told me if there was any questions to call him.

When I originally called to start service, your sales rep made a promise that the tech would check our broken equipment. Nothing. Crickets. This is how you treat new customers? Lie, or no show? Setting up was also a grave disappointment. You called hours before the scheduled appointment while we were still at work, busy. Then tried to get us to set it our up system via text. How lazy, is that all our business means to you? Your ignoring us is a slap in the face to the contract we signed. At this point, you may have gotten 12 month contract signed, but rest assured that if this poor service continues we will not be around for month 13. We have a camera offline that you promised to come and look at. I'm paying for a service that I am not getting 100% benefit, but yet you're charging 100% of the fee. If I'm only getting 70% of my service then I should only pay 70% of my bill.

Excellent customer service, Christopher treated me with respect and professionalism. The system is easy to understand and easy to use the App. The cameras seem way better and very clear than the previous system I was using. Easy transition to new system

If I could give negative stars I would. I still don't have my alarm system finished being set up. The it rep hung up on me. He didn't speak good English. I need someone who speaks English. I may not keep your service.

My tech was nice. He wore a mask. Answer all my questions and connect my system up good. He took his to make sure everything was in place. Showed me how to work the system by the pad and my phone.

2 Techs did the install, the main tech was training a fairly new tech on how they do the install and he was very proficient on training him. The install was flawless and professionally installed. After the installation they go over everything on how to operate the system.

Only issue was the construction of our new home blocked the technicians from installing some outdoor cameras unless I was willing to have wires running down interior walls to interior outlets which I did not want.. So recommend speaking to builder or electrician prior to sign up to ensure Vivint doesn't run into these issues. We have firewalls and walls in attic that blocked them.

The installation tech was a great worker and completed everything in a timely and efficient manner. We will continue to recommend him. He was pleasant and kind and provided knowledge on the system. I highly recommend him for home installations.

When the technician came to install everything it started out great. But as the night went on it got worse and worse. When he took our thermostat off the wall he messed up the HVAC unit and we have gotten the run around with your company about someone coming out to fix it. I would honestly like the cameras to be paid for as well as the HVAC inspection to be paid for as well. It’s absolutely ridiculous for your technician to not know what he is doing but we were promised he was “one of the best techs in the area.” Your customer service is crappy as well as trying to get ahold of anyone. It’s impossible! I’m so disappointed with the installment but I am happy with the cameras.

This was much easier than I anticipated. Technician did this much quicker than I thought and covered all the aspects of the system with me completely. The equipment is easy to use and read on the screens. He showed me the camera outside and how to access it on my phone. He was also very efficient with his time during the installation. He did lose one screw on my ring door bell that is needed to install it. I will try to find it.

Great experience overall! Everybody was nice and never had a bad time with anything. I commend both seller and technician because they knew their jobs and did it with such high knowledge of their work. If anybody is ready to get their new alarm system, I would recommend to the fullest.

So we've had this alarm system for 4 years now and purchased on a recommendation from a neighbor. This company has been nothing but a nightmare for the past 2 years. Between our panel freezing, not receiving notifications on our phone, inability to get someone out to service our system, etc. and spending hours on the phone at a time; I'm canceling. Our panel would freeze and not turn on/off for about 6 months. I called, took videos, pictures, etc. and spoke with numerous people who promised they would solve my problem.

Vivint came off very untrustworthy when it came to the price of the equipment. I was given one price during the quote over the phone then emailed a much higher price after I agreed to move forward with installation. I called to cancel due to discrepancies. Vivint wanted to make it right but I had lost trust in the company at this point. Over several more calls, Vivint was very apologetic and offered me a even better deal so I accepted the terms. Installation day went fine as the tech was knowledgeable and equipment was installed. All equipment seemed to work fine. About 3 days later, I noticed that I could not hear the doorbell when upstairs in my home. I called Vivint to have someone to come out to check why this is happening.

The service was excellent and the technician was very helpful and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to show me and my wife the proper way to use the system. I would recommend your service to family and friends.

Tim is a good dude and was awesome to work with. He was both thorough and thoughtful when first going over the security system. I had some reservations on somethings I was or wasn’t getting and we were able to talk it out and come to a solution I was comfortable with. Install was great and very pleased with the end result. Cords are well managed and left each work spot very clean. Had a great demo of the system at the end where he really went through and showed each item and what they did. Getting a tutorial both on the hub as well as the phone, leaving me in a great place to manage the system myself.

I've been a tech for 2 years and have fallen in love with the system, as soon as my wife and I brought our first home we decided to put Vivint Smart Home Security in it and we haven't been disappointed at all.

First I like to say our technician Chad ** arrived on time. He was very professional, knowledgeable and honest. We were amazed how fast he efficiently finished the task. He helped with setup on our phones. He gave us a very thorough demonstration of the keypad. Chad, "thank you" for making this experience pleasant.

Friendly sales staff. Pleasant installer. Then one day you have an emergency. Welcome to subcontractor HELL. EMERGENCY CALL that includes waiting forever with Muzak!! I was promised protection. Security. Monitoring. While I'm STILL ALIVE. Can't even figure out my address. Have put them in Dispute with Visa. Want my money back. And I will get it. Over 4,600 complaints already filed with the BBB of Provo, Ut. F rating. Avoid Vivint.

Love the system but after installation service disappointed. No one is available to answer my inquiries. The system is so easy to use. I got locked out of my house Thanksgiving. I had no keys but was able to get in using my phone. Life saver.

The Tech was very knowledgeable, efficient, on time and friendly. Highly recommend this company. He came inside the scheduled window and following the walkthrough promptly got work. He was able to integrate he’s equipment into my existing Power 4 system without me having to buy extra equipment.

5 stars for the man who installed our system. He was knowledgeable, polite & very patient with all our questions. We are 2 senior citizens still learning how to use the system as this is only the 3rd day, but so far so good. We feel much safer.

I got my system installed a couple of days ago and I have no complaints. My installation time was between 8-12 and my the technician was there by 9. The technician was nice, professional, and knowledgeable about the product. I would definitely recommend Vivint to others.

After moving to a new neighborhood I decided to get a door camera. As a Cox customer I originally went with their "Homelife" program but it worked less than 50% of the time so I disconnected it. I remembered a neighbor from the neighborhood I had just left worked for Vivint so I reached out and asked some questions. He was honest, not pushy in the least and I knew I could trust him. So today I can breathe a sigh of relief with far superior protection than I ever imagined. And know that tech support (or my ex neighbor) will gladly help with any dumb questions I may have. Oh and clean up? He brought his own dust buster vac to suck up any dust!!!

Was fast and amazing and helping me reconnect my system that was offline and organized my account to set up codes and passwords to use my system more efficiently. I was very pleased with the service that was provided for me.

The installer handling our installation was very informative, professional and clean with keeping boxes and debris contained. Anything that required drilling a hole was consulted before proceeding. The esthetics of where an item should be placed was considered and discussed to allow me to make a sound decision.

This is the first time we’ve had any type of alarm system and to date, the whole process was easy and painless. The reason why we are dissatisfied with the service is because whenever we pay for the service we was told we will be getting our service turned on the next day but unfortunately that's not true. We ask for two cameras, motion sensors and 11 Windows to be alarmed and we did not get that and we are not satisfied.

My house has been my greatest financial investment, that's why I need to protect it, needless to mention my family spend most of the time in this place. Vivint is not the cheapest company but by far is the best. My advice: get a piece of paper and make a list of all questions you may have about the service, the equipment, the multiple scenarios you may think (brake in, fire, health emergency etc), once you have a vivint rep in front of you have him/her clearly answer all your questions. If you have satisfactory answers then move to the financial part of it, otherwise it doesn't make sense talking about prices or cost if you can't see the value on it.

Where do I begin? Tech shows up hour after promise time at 830 pm. After drilling holes and messing with my doorbell they cut the wrong wire and cut the other two, too short. Now I am unable to power the doorbell. After shorting the chime, Tech finally leaves at 10pm after promising to return this week. If they can fix it I will have them remove all their equipment from the house.

Sales person and Install crew were a real treat compared to the average front door sales experience! Had I the means, they would each receive a pay bonus based on my experience with my first alarms system purchase!! I even set off a duress alarm accidentally learning how my new system works and the tech that called to investigate was also Top Notch!! If this is what I can expect from Vivint in the future, I look forward to a very long and satisfying relationship! And please, SERIOUSLY, extend my thanks to those young men who introduced me into the world of Vivint Home Security!

My interest in security systems centered on having adequate camera coverage on my front/back yards & these cameras look great. Aesthetically, they look good & the picture is clear too. All of the other equipment (door, motion & glass) were added bonuses.

Needed proper security for my first home, did my due diligence and boy am I glad I went with Vivint! The customer service was top notch and my installer, Mike P, was super knowledgeable to all my questions and catered to all my install needs! He took his time and took no shortcuts making sure I was comfortable with the new system. Very impressed! Highly would recommend to anyone looking to best secure their home.

The entire process was seamless. My previously installed sensors linked up easily and the installation person, Audry, was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me all along the way. The overall pricing is a good value, especially moving forward. The entire installation process took less than 2 hours.

To be honest with you, the system seems to work fine. But a better onboarding experience would’ve been helpful. Even links to YouTube apps showing how the app works would’ve been great. We purchased a home with an existing system. It would have been helpful to have someone take us thru the system and how the locks worked.

This gives the ability to monitor & control the thermostat from our permanent home 1,400 miles away. We are also able to unlock for someone and, of course, a smoke alarm that is only sound, is of no use when we are at our permanent home.

I complained early after the installation that the installer hurriedly rushed through how the system worked! I have since called in asking for any installer or tech working in this area to please stop by for additional “hands on” system inspection and instructions for me. That has not happened to date and the system (to include both the Camera and the Doorbell) is Offline 99 percent of the time!! Instructions that direct me to check the Doorbell and if there is no green color, to reboot from the main control just does not work! I am very unhappy with this Vivint system as I think it is faulty and I’m NOT getting my money’s worth. Somebody please do something!! HELP! Please!!

Our tech guy Marco, who came out to install everything for us was awesome! He was very helpful and professional! He made sure to answer all our questions and or concerns! Explained everything in detail, and did all the installments in a timely manner.

We had problems connecting the Vivint console to either of the two modem/wifi systems here but Clark installed a Vivint router to enable the console to connect to the CenturyLink modem. The smart security/thermostat control system is now up and running.

Very pleased with the installation and help with the keypad setup. I needed new sensors and was able to get them setup the same day. The installer was very helpful. I did not want to pay so much, so I was able to get what I needed at a good price. I am very happy to be able to use the app and live the video doorbell feature.

I spent weeks and hours upon hours pouring over security systems for our first home. I read tons of reviews and compared pricing models for DIY systems vs. packages/external security. Vivint came up again and again in my searches as not only highly rated but highly secure. The customer rep I spoke to answered every single (lengthy) question I had about the system, and I loved that I had options in terms of paying a lump sum for the equipment or rolling it into my monthly bill.

My Vivint Tech, George, was really courteous, professional and very knowledgeable! He was extremely patient explaining the use of the system. He took the time to go through each and every device in full detail. He also made certain that all the batteries were changed out and that each device worked properly before moving on to the next. I was very pleased with his work!

Recommended by a friend - big mistake and horrible system. I have had Vivint security system for almost 2 months (Sept 30, 21) and it has not worked correctly from day one. I did not realize the front doorbell camera was intermittently going offline until 3 1/2 weeks after installation. I noticed it one evening by chance. I called customer service and the rep confirmed that my camera was offline not just this one time but every day since it was installed. Since then, I have had 3 Vivint techs out and each one has experienced the camera not working. One of them told me in early November that what I was told during the sale was not accurate and the system will not do what I was sold on it doing as it relates to hearing the doorbell throughout my house. I have call customer service several time over the past 2 months without any resolution to date.
