Exceptional on-site technician installation performed today. Maurice was very thorough and explained the entire system components and system instructions. He is very knowledgeable and successfully deinstalled a 20 year old system. The quality of the camera and products are very clear on the screen and even clearer on your cell phone. We are extremely satisfied. Thank you!!!

The installer (Daniel A) was very professional and skilled at his job. He made us very confident in the security and alarm system he installed by setting up and explaining the system to us. His professionalism involved taking care of all paperwork before and after the installation.

My daughter has your service and she is pleased. So I decided to get the service as well. I am glad that even if we lose power our system will continue to work. I will let others know of the experience and the easy instructions.

Seamless experience start to finish, from learning about Vivint's home security system to having it installed. Vivint's sales representative was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He wasn't pushy and tailored our new system to our specific needs. The technician actually came out on the same day. He was also professional and extremely efficient. He completed the install in just over an hour! The system is easy to operate. We love it and highly recommend Vivint to anyone looking for a security system!

So happy to have my Vivint security system back! When I moved to TX 2 years ago Vivint was not available in my neighborhood. I had to go with another security system and have not been pleased with it. Eric came today and took out all my previous security system and installed my new Vivint system. So happy to be a Vivint customer again.

Contacted Edgar to set up service who was very responsive and explained everything very well. At my appointment, Matt was super nice, explained everything very well, very accommodating and took my concerns into consideration. He made sure everything was smooth and that I felt confident and using the system and that somebody could help me in the future if needed.

The technician was very friendly and helpful with explaining everything. He was also very nice and genuine. He took his time and ensured that I knew how to operate the equipment and how To make calls if I’m in trouble. I feel 100 percent safe now.

The guy that came was super quick, he explained everything perfectly and I’d recommend him to anyone. Awesome guy, another thing I’d say is that he was on time to the appointment, very communicative and you can’t notice that any work have been done. Seamless

Initial call from Vivint was ok but they were not accurate with the info that was giving them and that did not get relayed to the installer. Had additional equipment on schedule that I didn’t ask for and a price that was more than what I was told on the phone. Installer was nice and did a good job. He had to make a couple of calls to undo what the previous person put on our account. Only knocks on installer are he left hand prints on walls and equipment that I had to go back and clean up (tons of fun with high ceilings) and he had me tie in my MYQ garage door opener but it is not showing up in the app. This morning I see I got charged $199 for something and I have no clue what that is about…and of course billing isn’t open until Monday. Right now, I’m not seeing that Vivint is any better than ADT.

Great experience from start to finish. We did an intensive amount of reaching and Vivint stood out for many reasons. From the sales to install we were up and running in a few hours! We would recommend this smart home product to any home.

The installation was great. Quick, precise, and very courteous. I was very happy with the installation. I was a bit frustrated when my appointment was canceled last week but the installation process went so smoothly that it made up for my irritation with the cancellation.

Mr. ** was very polite and professional. Had answers to all questions asked, went out of his way to make sure everything was working fine and showed us how to use the system. Gave us his phone number in case we needed anything. He would be glad to help and correct.

Thermostat is not working on day 2. Can't figure it out. Was not shown or given anything to help work thermostat. No guide no instructions. Can't get it to turn on. Don't understand anything. Very frustrated app isn't working.

Our technician arrived right on time. He listened to everything we wanted and was very knowledgeable about how to get the set up we wanted. He worked tirelessly and was very efficient and informative in explaining how to operate our new system. We are extremely happy with the system and the technician and installation.

The process was Quick. We had just moved in. Our sales guy Ryan came to visit us and told us about Vivint Smart Home Security. I was impressed. Then they set us up the same day which I was not expecting same day install. I'm impressed with the high quality and great service both by Ryan and our installer Mike. Everything went well initially. However, after installation the pro appears to have wanted to raise the price by approximately 25.00 dollars. I thought that was unsound business practice. Other than that he gets 100%. The pro was very professional in showing us all the necessary steps in operation of the equipment. I feel very competent going forward with them. Thank you.

I love how easy it is to work the app. The installer (Stephen) was fast and professional. He showed me how to work everything step by step. He also informed me that I can always upgrade by add on to the system. I’m really happy with the Vivint Home Security.

I called to set up a new account when the sales associate told me my cameras would be replaced. An hour later they called me back and told me that they wouldn’t stand by that and they was not going to replace my cameras. They took 200 out of my account and basically are doing nothing for me. If you can record the people breaking into my house then why do I need your system. I will be canceling my contract and will be going with another company. Vivint is trash and I see why my family and friends have switched.

When I first heard about this company my husband and I was going to give ADT a try. I was at Kroger and heard three people in a conversation about Vivint and they changed my mind. I call and got more information and we decided to go with Vivint. Shannon came in and my husband was impressed with her work and said she was very professional. She did an awesome job. I was at work. My husband call me and I spoke briefly with her and I was also impressed. I would highly recommend Shannon.

My installer, Danny **, was polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. There were some challenges around my wifi router and the locations of my power outlets, but the installer solved each issue and overcame every obstacle. I am looking forward to my experience with Vivint Smart Home Security.

The service was great. Any questions I had it was answered. Came and got done fast. I was able to log in right away and look at my cameras with no problems. Got everything done without having to go back. I just think it’s Worth it if you need a system.

So far, the Vivint reps that I have dealt with have been very knowledgeable and very professional. Look forward to my system to be completely installed. System could not be completed in one visit due to the lack of equipment/hardware on hand.

She was great. Explained everything perfectly step by step. Showed how to work our system. Had a lot of patience. We had a wonderful experience with Vivint. Alex the girl that sold us on it was a very sweet and knowledgeable on everything and what she answer for us she called to find out. The 2 guys that installed were quick, knew what they were doing and very nice. Couldn't have had an easier time.

Been a dedicated customer for well over 10 years. Took the day off to have no one show up for us to upgrade our system, since they said our system was outdated and we'd been without protection for months. Which they still charged us for. Spent the whole day waiting on a tech that was scheduled to come out. I get a call at 9 am saying they'd have to reschedule after I took the day off from work specifically for them to come out. Spent all day trying to get a tech out to upgrade to be told they'd have someone out by 4 pm. Again, there was a no show. Customer service jerked me around. They never would put us through to a supervisor. They left nothing but a bad taste in our mouth. If you have nothing to do but wait on a tech to come out and don't show up. Then Vivint's for you. If not, find a reliable alarm company that doesn't Jerk you around and waste your time.

I am quite pleased with the introduction to Vivint. The representatives and the technician were thorough in their descriptions, answered all of my questions, and were friendly and polite. I like the clarity of the photos and the loudness of the alarm.

Trevor did an outstanding job with installing and explaining our system. He identified some vulnerabilities that we hadn’t considered and adjusted our package accordingly. We will be recommending Vivint to any of our friends or family who is in the market for a home security system.

Only have had the product/service for an hour now so I can’t give a rating on Vivint security just yet. I can only report on the installation process. I forgot the gentleman’s name, but he was a class act and did a great job.

Had a good installation experience. The tech was knowledgeable and installed neatly. Remained focus on all tasks. The process was about 11/2 hours. The person who was in trainer was helpful. The cameras are clear and all equipment was working properly.

David came into our house with a new video doorbell camera and new controls for our alarm system. It seems to function very well and we were very pleased with this experience. The installer Alan was very professional and quickly had us up and running. He and his helper were knowledgeable and efficient.

Garage door access was not included in my package after lengthy discussion about it. Representative was knowledgeable & friendly. Technician was timely & cleaned up work area as he completed tasks. Technician worked diligently to be sure I was satisfied with installation although there was a hiccup with the camera & thermostat.

My home security system install was quick and easy today. My tech Ariel did a phenomenal job. He was communicative walking me through the entire process and ensured all wires were hid the best they could do so that the esthetic of the area was not disrupted. Jerry was great. He took his time, didn't leave a mess and as, me, a senior explained things to me so I wouldn't go off the deep end in a mound of confusion. Once I found out what the Shield would do, you know, take me back to the start so I could go out and get into trouble all over again. I was happy.

Getting Vivint installed and working was a real treat. The entire process from the appointment setup to the installation was clearly and efficiently communicated with no secrets and no surprises. After having an phone call appointment set at 2pm, all I got was a text message because the rep said he was “on a call” then we finish up everything. I never got my agreement to sign. I sent numerous of messages, 5 hours later still haven’t gotten it. I can’t sign into my account without creating an account but without the agreement email can’t do anything at all either.

Vivint has quality equipment however the technician was hurrying through the installation. Also I wasn’t able to get my garage myQ wifi app to work with the Vivint app and he said wasn’t much help with that. Overall it was a satisfying experience but I wished he was more patient and helpful with getting all what I wanted installed.

Got Vivint installed in our new home. The guy who came in to install was phenomenally good. The folks on the phone were great. The tech is wonderful, 4K videos, cameras with speakers to talk to visitors, security panel is very intuitive to use. And the phone app is wonderful - keep an eye on your house from any corner of the world and interact with any visitors from anywhere too. Pretty happy with them. This was my second Vivint install.

The follow up technician installed MyQ monitor on my garage door. Prior to the 2nd tech installation the first tech attempted to install Vivint system to garage without the MyQ. Stopped working. Now I can’t open garage from keypad. I’m happy with overall system. I will call to setup tech to return to fix issue with door keypad.

Installer was knowledgeable, on-time and removed any debris from the installation. The system appears to be better the systems that I have had in the past and will allow me add additional home automation products without intervention from Vivint.

Every contact with Vivint has been an enjoyable experience. They were able to explain every facet of their product and installation well. The seller was deceptive. Even when confirming the order on video and it asked about the cancellation fees, he urged me to say yes even though we NEVER talked about the cancellation the entire time. I found a booklet after he left and in the very back it had a slip about the cancellation. That is the only way I found out.

Overall I was able to get my system installed and working. I have the hub, a doorbell camera, window/door sensors, motion sensor, water sensor, glass break sensor. There were some issues that could be resolved/improved. I did not have enough wire from my previous doorbell and needed to extend it by going to a hardware store myself. Based on YouTube videos this is a common issue that could be resolved with a little bit of wire and wire nuts ring included with the doorbell. There were no instructions on how to mount and install the doorbell. The app had a link to “how to install” that actually just took me to a phone number to call customer service.

We called for a new system on our home. Paul came out and went over the packages with us. The installer came out and did a fantastic job and kept everything clean. After installing the technician went over all operations.

The Vivint technician (Daryl) was not able to arrive as scheduled but stayed in communication providing updates about estimated arrival time. Upon arrival, he was very professional and detailed with explanations and work. The work was completed within a reasonable time.

I was very happy with the quality of Marco’s work. He definitely knows his work. My only reason for giving this a 4 out 5 is due to the lack of info presented to me on my first initial call with the person who gave me my quote. There was a lot of info that individual left out.

The service person that installed the system was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Very helpful in addressing questions and reviewing how to use the system and how that coordinated with the app on my phone. Install tech (Daniel) was very helpful and professional assisting me with activation of an alarm system that came with a house I purchased. I have not had time to experience the system or how it operates but I have been informed of a customer service number to call anytime I need more help.

Equipment was bad and scheduled a service technician to come onsite. Appt. was from 8-12. Called to check status at 12:30, he was marked traveling. Called 1hr later, call was closed, saying no one was home. They said I had to reschedule after I took off of work. I said no, and asked to transfer me to the retention department. I was canceling my service. Trying to cancel was a nightmare. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they said they couldn't get a hold of one. They said the cancelation takes 30days. I said that was unacceptable.

Super friendly employees. They were able to answer all my questions and took the time to make sure I understand the system. Very happy with the experience! They got me a great price for everything I wanted and got it installed and functioning the same day!

The technician was very respectful. He went over the instructions as to how to operate the equipment. He gave me the # to call if I should have any problems with the system. He showed me where batteries were located should I need to change them on the dead bolt.

So I purchased my home and the Vivint system was already installed. I transferred services over to me and it was super easy to do. Customer service agents were super understanding & worked with me. The panel works AMAZING!!! I love that I am able to control everything from the panel or my phone. I definitely recommend Vivint!

Vivint must have changed their mind because they are now offering an upgraded chip for the control panel. The upgraded chip and installation is being offered for free. I asked the customer service rep why I wasn't offered the upgraded chip. He replied that perhaps that the previous two reps didn't know that I had control panel that could be upgraded with the chip. I think that Vivint was keeping this info from me and trying to upsell me a new $500 control panel. Don't know, I'm just speculating but the whole thing seems pretty shady to me.

The technician that came out to install the Vivint system was amazing!! Great customer service and explained everything with. The system looks great and extremely clean installation. The app is easy to navigate and looks amazing. Thank you very much.

I was using a different home security service and was not thrilled with them, with just the installation I'm already happy I switched and the gentleman, Ryan, who did the install was beyond helpful, informative, understanding and awesome. The only complaint I have is the hard credit inquiry was done at the time of installation and it would have been better, in my opinion, to have done it before sending a technician out in the unfortunate case of not being approved and having to pay upfront at time of installation. But everything worked out in the end.

Spencer my tech was awesome. He did an excellent job installing my equipment and explaining everything to me about the system and App. I would definitely recommend him. He went above and beyond his scope of the job. My grandkids spilled some glitter on my sofa and he used his handheld vacuum to get it up for me.

Wonderful experience overall. Salesman came and very respectfully explained how everything would work and all the prices and then did the same for my wife when she got home. We settled on all the products that we wanted installed and the technician came and installed it all the same day. Super professional and fast from everyone.

My technician, Ricardo, was very thorough with everything. He explained every single piece of equipment he was gonna be installing in my house, gave me a run through everything, how I can work with it, how to make it work for me in the best and efficient ways.

The salesman was knowledgeable about the service and the installation was the same day. I like being able to check on things using my phone. The cameras present clear view of the whole back yard. We will have to check back in a few days and see how things are going.

I cancelled my first appointment since the schedule was changed the night before with no warning. Scheduling made experience unpleasant. There was also an attempt to reschedule the new appointment at Last minute. Thankfully the technician retained the original time.

So far, I am so happy I decided to give Vivint a chance! The guy who installed my equipment was very nice and knowledgeable! I’d definitely recommend friends and family to choose Vivint for home security! I’ll update again soon!

Mr. ** was extremely helpful and patient when answering questions in regards to Vivint and explaining which items would give me the best protection for my home. I never once felt like he was trying to push me to spend more. Very thankful for his time.

My experience has been overall 4.5 stars because the technician was so helpful on installation day. The sales rep when I first called was very thorough in explaining items and helping me get the customized package I wanted. He sent the information in a timely manner and was very responsive to any questions I had. The only problems I had with those conversations were some things said over the phone about being able to cancel within the first 30 days and the equipment would be taken and no other fees charged, which I learned is not the case; and no initial setup fee for a new homeowner which never made it to the invoice. The next contact I had was the actual appointment which took forever to set and then I was kept waiting and waiting for a technician to show up that never did and never got a call back that he was not going to show up. I was then texted to reschedule which seems very unprofessional and illegitimate.

James was wonderful. Efficient, knowledgeable and friendly! Took his time to ensure devices were place in the areas we were satisfied with! Took his time to explain the panel and gave a great run down for all the features available.

Installer, Joe, was very knowledgable about system. His recommendations were very helpful in setting up our new system. He was punctual on arrival and quickly got us to explain what we thought we needed. Joe is a credit to your company.

Beth ** was my installer technician. She was soooo knowledgeable and what a sweet gal. Well anyway I haven't used my unit yet. I tried the first night and set the alarm off. I wasn't fast enough and I was fumbling, it made me panic. Two officers called to see if I was ok. Beth ** went over everything very slowly with me several times for I'm a very slow learner when it comes to technology. Thank You.

I am very pleased with Vivint! The technician Joel was incredible to work with. Though there are installation and equipment fees. Once paid, the cost is relatively cheap. They need to add geo fencing. Other than that, love the camera features.

I have had the system for less than a week but solely based on my experience with the technician that set installed ours system I would definitely refer all my friends and family. Since he was not a salesman he recommended really carried some weight and he gave it to me straight… he took his time and made sure that I was comfortable with what I was getting for my home and peace of mind.

Just got my installation today…Great customer service, Michael the technician was on time, very polite, very informative and made me so comfortable with my purchase! I feel safe and have my neighbors calling to get their system installed…. The installation took a couple hours and Michael cleaned everything up!

Equipment is full of beautiful features and staff was really nice, expert in their work and helpful. I would highly recommend Vivint for security of your self, your family and for your home when you are away. Incomplete installation. Technician was kind and considerate and helpful however forgot to place the glass break monitor in the den in the basement. Left before it was completed. I now have to wait another week for a different installer to complete the job.

My company bought the alarm system for our store. We also bought 6 indoor cameras, but the installer told us the cameras came in separately and that we would have to install them separately, on our own. The installer installed the main dash board for the alarm, the two door sensors, and a front broken glass sensor for the front of store window. This was done 10/2021. We were informed that the 6 indoor cameras would arrive within 7-10 days. It is now 02/08/2022 and the cameras have not arrived yet. We have called innumerable times, and customer services first says they were delivered by the installer, then they adjust and say they were returned to their warehouse and will be shipped again. We are paying installments for a bill of more than $3,000 and are not getting a response. Do not choose this company.

When I called I got a helpful, patient, down to earth person on the phone and I explained to him what I was looking for and they helped me out with what I wanted to put on my house. So in a nutshell I think they did a very good job and my first communication with the company. Thank you very much.

I called Vivint on a Saturday morning, and by 3pm had a system installed, trained, and working. Steven was a great installer, listened to our preferences and was very detailed. I love the control panel and smart phone app. The cameras and sensors are accurate and customizable.

I was considering a new security system, but with great trepidation. My only experiences with them had been as a kid and I mostly remembered it as finicky and unfriendly. My Vivint experience put those concerns to rest. On Friday I spoke with Malachi on the phone. He walked me through the quote process expertly, setting my expectations fairly. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and put up with my silly dad jokes. 10/10. On Saturday Brian installed the system. He was prompt, arriving inside the install window and with an hour notice of his arrival. Once here, he showed me all the equipment, walked through the placement criteria, and then got to work. By the time he was done I was trained on the system and felt confident in our purchase. Most importantly, he was friendly and kind to my family. 11/10. Our Vivint experience was out of this world. Mark us down as very satisfied customers!

Besides being bright and highly competent at his job, he was patient and compassionate with me, able to connect easily and a great sense of humor. Really instilled the confidence I needed in the whole procedure. Also offered that I could text if I had further questions. Made sure I was able to work everything as well. Equipment is top notch and very easy to use. Was ecstatic about my purchase even with the few extras I added.

I had thought it was somehow connected to the new solar system we are adding to our roof, but he explained this was independent and essentially was a home security system. The only question I forgot to ask is if we decide not to continue this after the 36 months, is there a fee to discontinue the home security system?

The installation and the set up of the system was excellent and professionally accomplished. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Performed camera, doorbell and glass break installation. After installation all equipment performed as advertised. The technician with above and beyond to ensure that all equipment was operational.

Everything was fast. I called to enquire on Thursday and installation was on Friday. Berry the Tech was awesome, he was able to coach my wife through the set up. I would definitely recommend Vivint to friends and family! Service and experience was great!

The installation took almost six hours and they could not get the doorbell camera to work. Initially they said that it was not their problem and they would come back after we fixed the doorbell. After we called the solar rep and told them this was unacceptable because the doorbell worked before they started installing the system, they spoke to their supervisor and told us they would fix it. We have yet to hear from a Vivint supervisor. The technicians were very nice and respectful but they did not have experience or the equipment trouble shooting knowledge to remedy the situation immediately. Based off of my experience I would not recommend this service.

Vivint never disappoints. Always a great customer experience. The tech showed up on time and communicated great during the install process. We use Vivint at more than 100 locations across the country and they’ve done a great job of servicing the account.

My experience with Vivint and their installer was amazing. Clark went above and beyond. Disappointed in not being able to get camera in backyard. Vivint needs wireless cameras! We couldn’t wire a camera to my backyard. Would love to see wireless or wiring that could be used for outside weather. Vivint needs to have this option. Would give 5 stars, but only 4 will do.

The installation was done professionally with courtesy. There were a lot of internet signatures needed. Internet was not installed and phone speed was slow so that was all that made the process take longer. Otherwise I was very happy with the process. I would highly recommend Vivint to anyone.
