Getting an engineer to fix issues is almost impossible. And talking to someone in India is useless. I would not recommend Vivint and wish I hadn't used them. They ask you to pay for upgrades to panel and won't send you replacement signage when they degrade. Discontinued lights on signs which is just a bad mistake. To be honest. They don't give a toss after they have you hooked.

Changed to a new security provider for our home after seeing the Vivint system in 2 of our family members homes. Vivint provided great service and the type of system we were looking for. The employee that installed the system was very professional and friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

Technician was very informative and friendly, clean and tidy. The system itself is amazing with its features and it also very responsive with little to no lag when moving through its systems. Good quality image on the cameras. Would definitely recommend to other households.

The technician, Sean **, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly! He knew exactly was he was doing and explained everything perfectly. Alex demonstrated extreme professionalism and knowledge. His ability to install my alarm system and give me a peace of mind when I’m away is second to none! All wires were hidden and he cleaned up as if he was never there! Amazing experience.

My tech was awesome. He let me know everything he was doing before doing it. He set my camera up perfectly. I’ve had some issues with my camera before. Now I absolutely feel safe. This is my first time haven’t Vivint and he showed me how to use and do everything. Very simple and easy.

Alarm overall is great. The control panel and phone app are easy for elderly to use. We are ready to begin expanding options in z-wave. Installer was great and able to install what I wanted and how I wanted it done.

“Jeff and Dell” were very pleasant and courteous. They explained all procedures as they went along.. He didn’t persuade me.. I decided to take the system after we talked.. I feel very safe and secure with family with limited mobility now that we can see outside without going outside..Previous system was just taking my $$ with nothing to show for it. Customer service person on the phone was very nice to accommodate and setup technician before Holidays And technician was also nice to set up the security system and explain everything. I hope once equipment is paid off system still works with app without any remote monitoring like Amazon Ring with their app.

I'm new to the Vivint family. Although my sales representative (Noah) was thorough about the service and the technician (Audry) was very informative about using my device. It's too soon to say if I would or wouldn't recommend a friend. Ask me this question after a year.

Three hour install with a clean, whole house sensor and alarm system. The install was conscious and knowledgeable and able to answered questions with good customer skills. System came right up. Good walk-through and explanation for a new customer orientation.

Originally I met with the Vivint sales agent who agreed to include a $1000 gift card since I needed to cancel my contact with ADT. I have since contacted vivint and no one knows about this. I have never received any gift card and now I am stuck with two companies. Complete scam and lie.

I signed up for the Holiday special that they are running right now with 4 months free monitoring and free installation and they end up charging my credit card $214.45 and couldn't give me a reason for the charge. I am very confused. I feel like they have beat me out of my $214.45. I am upset about it.

Transformer at my home was too small, tech must come back to install doorbell camera, this was not tech’s fault. Miguel was very helpful in giving information where I didn't know or understand. I will only give 5 stars to Jordan who came here to install all our outdoor cameras and fully and patiently explained why I didn’t receive my indoor cameras in which the sales rep that I talked to should have explained everything. Sales rep said all cameras will be installed on the agreement date but when Jordan came and said indoor cameras will be shipped at least 2 weeks and the rules has been like that where indoor cameras do not come with them to install and I felt like I just got cheated on with the information and now I was kinda pushed in the corner on making decision if I still want to proceed doing business with you guys since there is a person standing in front of me explaining everything which should’ve been explained to me prior.
It was a dirty trick and I will not recommend this business to any of my friends because of this unfair and dirty trick. Not to mention, sales rep said if I paid the equipment ANY DAY and ANY TIME then I won’t be tied for 5 year contract anymore but was told that I only have 5 days to pay equipment in full to not be tied. Another dirty move. I’d give you 0 stars if I can.

He let us know what other devices that could be added, or paired to the system. His demeanor was friendly and helpful. The Vivint smart home device seems easy to use, a clean design, and easy to expand.

The tech was great! Experience...time and knowledge of your product was great...Ryan was our tech. The only thing that I wish your Tech could have done was to configure the wires to change thermostats so that I wouldn't have to go and do that So I am waiting to get my new thermostats in until I can find an electrician to do so.

The process of doing everything via text message is very time consuming and frustrating. The tech was helpful but it would have been better to talk to them. I was not told when I paid for installation this was the way it was done.

Service was fast and friendly! Will definitely be recommending Vivint to family and friends. We’ve only had them a day and we love it already! I’m taking over a account and it took 8 calls to Vivint to help switch the panel over to me. I also wanted to have 2 cameras installed. Instead of one appointment for a service man to come out they want to do two appointments that of which is $99 for them to come out.

All the pricing I was quoted was wrong. Tech was trying to align but system kept freezing. Ended up being over charged even though tech was on phone with operator and was told it was same price several times. Was not as expected price wise. But tech very nice.

The professional installation was a breeze and setup exactly how I wanted. It’s a great feeling to know my family is protected. Best decision yet! The camera quality is excellent. I love the doorbell camera especially to keep an eye on packages being delivered. The whistle deter is a cool feature also to warn those that get too close.

System was installed and operating with a minimum of problems. Installer explained System operations and assisted in cell phone setup. The installation was very timely and neat. The technician was very competent and knowledgeable about the system! He cleaned up any debris left over from the job.

To be honest I was skeptical at first, but so far so good! The sales/marketing rep, Ferris, has been extremely personable, helpful, and understanding. He made everything super easy/convenient and has been very attentive and helpful through the entire decision and installation process. I just got (almost) everything installed today so I don’t have any major comments about the actual security service yet, but I am extremely happy with my current system set up. From the quality of the cameras to the security of the panel (and everything in between) I am very happy. The installation tech was very professional and informative. (I’d love to name drop him but I can’t for the life of me remember it.) He explained everything and made sure I understood all of the gadgets and fancy buttons. Overall, I am very content in my decision to switch from my previous security provider & products. Hope this helps!

Four stars because it took a very long time to have it installed plus our previous security system motion detector and door alarms were not compatible therefore our cost increased. These are two items that should be discussed before the sale is complete.

The install tech was great. She worked carefully and did a good job. The cameras are really good. The sensors work well and all of the products are good quality. The initial install amount was more than I thought it would be but hopefully it’s worth it.

The installer brought a loaded firearm into my home. The installation equipment he brought was NOT what we discussed with Vivint when we set up the install service. The tech was completely unprofessional and left a complete mess everywhere along with drilling hole in the outside of my home without weatherproofing the holes. Plus he just ran wires under the outlet covers and left the covers at an angle just halfway screwed in. I will never use vivint again. He took advantage of my spouse inexperience with what right looks like.

My installation experience was great! The product (alarm system) is just what we needed and we are pleased. However, the service was beyond exemplary. Stephan **, the installer, was super attentive to what he was doing as well as very informative on telling me how to use the new system and everything it does. He took his time and made sure everything was working and running well before leaving as well as making sure I understood everything he told me. He’s polite, professional and overall a gentleman. Very competent installation. Craig spent a lot of time carefully explaining it all to us. We are not really tech savvy but he made us very comfortable with using all the various functions of our new system. He took us both through everything we need to know in order to use the we system.

Still haven’t got my equipment today. I was supposed to get it before four. 230 I’m still waiting when. Was wondering why y’all charge me an extra $169 today and I really need them today. I told the guy when I ordered them that I need them as soon as possible and he told me they would be here Wednesday and I still haven’t gotten nothing. Thank you.

The system is great, but the tech. did not inform me they disconnect your doorbell. So while the alarm is great it only “rings” on your phone or the control center. Not very good if you own a decent sized house, and leave your phone on a room. YOU WON'T HEAR THE DOORBELL. So I had to ask them to come and reconnect my doorbell with the system. Still waiting for that to happen and they acted like I should have known. They should give you the option NOT just assume what I want.

Jose was a pleasure to work with and was very honest and knowledgeable of the product. I was excited to hear that after I signed the contract, that someone would be at my house in 30min to install. However, they arrived around 7pm and didn't leave until close to midnight! They never told me why it took so long or if they were running into any issues, etc. If I had known I would have asked them to come the next day as I have 3 children and work full time.

My experience with the initial agent was great. She was very personable, extremely helpful and patient. She is the one who actually got me to sign up with your company. Unfortunately the Alex the technician that was supposed to follow up with me to get our profile loaded into your system, first of all I couldn’t barely hear a word he was saying, I advised him and there was no adjustment made. He seemed very unconcerned and almost bothered that he was even talking to me. Not a very good impression of him.

My original plan was to get my doors wired. Once the technician got here and showed me everything the system could do, I installed a 7 camera system! It works great, it’s customizable to fit my needs and the videos are sharp. My only suggestion would be that Vivint make the keypad lockable with a passcode and the volume louder.

I recently decided to switch over from Brinks to Vivint. The sales rep.was very knowledgeable and broke down the entire package in a way that was easy to follow. David, the technician who came to install the equipment did a great job. He was able to answer any questions I had during the installation process. He too was knowledgeable and provided us with the steps we needed to use both the system and the Vivint app. Just based off of the service help and interaction we received during this initial process, I would recommend switching over. With our outside camera, we already feel a bit more secure! I can't wait to explore the app more to make my system even more personalized.

I wish I had never signed up. Nothing was explained properly. We’ve lost power in part of our home and cannot use appliances due to the install. Customer service is no help. They have ruined our home and they won’t get anyone out for a week. Unacceptable. Wish I could give no stars.

I have a 126 yr old Victorian with some funky features; my installer did a fantastic job of finding everything and installing without any extra holes. He was also extremely professional, polite, friendly, prompt, and a super nice person. He did a great job explaining my system and paperwork. No issues, very professional. Quick work and did a great job explaining how to use the system to us. Later we did notice the previous security system’s sign was still out front. We never received the Vivint sign which hopefully will be corrected soon.

My experience was very good. The technician was prompt and friendly. He also got finished within the window so that was great. Only complaint would be that I didn’t know I had to get a line of credit in order to complete the installation. That’s on the sales rep or rather Utility Concierge.

My installation went great. The system is better than what I had but not what I was expecting. I can't view cameras on my Alexa Show. This was something I really wanted so I'm checking with other alarm companies and maybe canceling during 3 day cancelation period.

For now I will recommend the service to anyone! I use to have Vivint on my previous home and was loyal customer for over 5 years. Installers 5 stars, overall 4 stars because missing indoor camera (out of stock) and surprise with Wi-Fi (had to buy a more robust router). System easier to use than old system and video added. I will have to do some setup when Wi-Fi arrives.

Felt a little rushed to get this process done like it couldn’t be done the next day. Other than that the agent was personable, friendly, knowledgeable but pushy, no time to look over the plan to totally understand it and to not make a rash decision.

I'm very pleased with my Vivint tech. Very knowledgeable, in depth person, walked me through the install and helped tremendously with how to work my alarms and cameras. Thanks so much Shay. Definitely big help to keeping us safe and secure.

Service was good, person was friendly and on time. Explained and showed how the system works and picked up after himself. The camera works great. Nice clear picture. Love the sound of the door bell. I would highly tell all my friends and neighbors about this system.

Had an excellent experience with my vivent install by Oscar K. Listened to my concerns and explained everything to me so that I could have the best personalized system for my house. Made sure everything was working correctly then thoroughly reviewed system with me so that I could work it correctly.

My experience was awesome, my tech, Mr. Jakorey ** was amazing and was very patient. He answered all of my questions and was extremely professional. He was on time and very efficient, if I decide to add another system I would request him to install at my place of business.

Great customer service from Brandon the representative to the technician who installed. I appreciate the security steps that are taken when installing and the clear explanation of the terms. I would definitely recommend Vivint, I appreciate the smart systems and the different security alerts that other companies do not offer.
