As a new homebuyer, something I am beginning to appreciate are businesses who listen to the needs of the customer and tailors their approach based on that. Vivint provided exactly that. The sales rep was respectful and provided candid feedback on suggested system components. The install technician was knowledgeable and made suggestions to improve system effectiveness. Overall great experience.

My installer Jimmy was on time, professional and did a great job explaining and installing the equipment. Made the process very smooth and didn’t feel like I was being mislead or misinformed. I would highly recommend Vivint to anyone looking for a professional home security system.

My tech arrived on time, he was friendly, communicative, and professional. He provided necessary information needed to use to products and services. After he was all done, he cleaned up leftover debris. I would recommend in the future. Good experience.

The service tech was great but the person that helped us on the phone prior to the tech coming did not apply one-month free monitoring like he said he would. Very disappointing. Also, the hood times are way too long.

Dallas was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and his work is outstanding. He doesn’t need 5 star. He needs 15 for a rating. If I need anything installed in the future please send Dallas. I know it will be done right. Thanks Randal **.

I recently had an alarm system installed in my home. The sales reps were professional and knowledgeable about the product they were offering. The installer was also very knowledgeable about the product he was installing. The whole process was done in one day!

Jay ** was great. Courteous and very good at what he does. Explain everything and in service was very good. Tim & TJ were also very helpful to Jay. Very good team work. I would definitely recommend Vivint, specially this team.

My installer was timely, courteous, and very helpful. He was patient while explaining the process and answering my questions. The system is easy to use and offers peace of mind while I'm away on business. It is also affordable.

Our technician (Stephen) was amazing. He walked us through the paperwork and through the process. He consulted us on the most appropriate devices for our home and perimeter monitoring. Though he has to return for a few more items to install, his professionalism was top notch in explaining the reason.

We just got everything installed today and set up. It’s very nice and modern and we feel very confident with the system we chose. Installer was very professional and nice and answered all our questions and gave great info about everything.

Awesome customer service from Amanda. Only downside my doorbell camera is coming next week. She said no doorbell cameras were available and I have to wait until next week to receive mine. Other than no doorbell camera all was perfect.

My home security install was neat and fast! I’m super grateful for my technician. He explained all the important places where the various protection devices. I’m super thankful for his thoroughness and knowledge! There are so many things I was not aware of that I now know!

My experience so far has been good. I was told that my equipment would arrive on Friday the 14th; however it didn't. I wasn't provided a phone number for customer service. Just want to know when to expect my equipment.

My vehicle was vandalized at my home. I needed a home security system. A friend referred me to Vivint. I contacted rep Mario **, he understood my need, did not oversell me and did a quality install. I'm a satisfied customer.

I'm mostly happy other than being told I had all the required equipment already then told upon arrival the equipment in my new home was too old to talk to towers and being upsold. Hopefully the newer and extra will pay off.

Bryan showed up right at the start of the appointment window. We spent some time going around the house and discussing what products I wanted and where they should go. He spent the rest of the day installing a complete security and home automation system. When he was done, he tested everything, helped me setup my account and the app, and showed me how to work everything. The only hiccup all day was a fuse blowing in a furnace, but the repair guy that came said it was wired wrong and was surprised it hadn’t already been an issue. I’ve already used the app to arm the system before bed, disarm it, unlock the back door, and open the garage door, all from my watch. My only qualm is that the doorbell doesn’t work with my chime. But it still rings from the control panel and my phone, so that’s only a small issue. Overall, very happy.

Thank you very much. The technician walked me through the entire set up and answered all of my question. I am upset that I didn’t go with Vivint earlier. I unfortunately am stuck with Cox security. This system is so worth the money. I can run out the door when I’m rushing to work, lock my back door from my car using my smartphone. I could never do that with Cox.

I would recommend Vivint, now I feel more secure leaving my place to go work Or do my errands. It was very difficult before cause I was a little scare since my place is in a ** area and there's a lot of drug addicts but now I feel way good.

I got equipment upgrade yesterday and was told I wouldn’t be charged til my bill. Well I paid the bill 3 days ago and was charged another $50 today after I was told I wouldn’t be. Very unprofessional. Vivint is usually very good besides this experience.

Professional team, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Very happy with installation and guide. Process was simple, straightforward and to the point. Didn't take long at all so I was happy not to be set back from my daily work to get everything done.

I can truthfully say that the experience was good and the technician that came out was very helpful and knowledgeable about the equipment and patient. But, I felt like all of the equipment should have been available when it was time for the installation. I know things come up, but I think with knowing the dates so far in advance, all of the equipment could have been available when it was Time for the installation. Thanks.

Let me start off by saying I has the privilege to receive my Vivint Smart Home set up a young man by the name of Sean S. Best service I've received ever, very informative, patient in explaining the way the device work. This was my first day in my new apartment. It was a little busy in the house with me unpacking and a very busy 2 year old. He worked around us and our mess..10+

Person was friendly, professional, and thorough. You need more people like him doing installations. Top notice company with great products, services, people. The technician did an excellent job installing the system and teaching us the controls. We are very impressed with the product and the service - which we discovered the next day when we forgot to disarm The system before letting our dogs out.

Installation was super easy. Just a little time consuming.. There was a little bit of miscommunication on the original install and had to be rescheduled but but we made it work and got it figured out. Learning how to use the actual product was very easy as well. The app is very easy to use and so is the tablet. In fact I'll probably upgrade and get a few more things for my home security.

The installer was great... He advised on my system that I had when I bought the house it was no longer relevant... He pointed out some things that the previous owner had done to the system that made it obsolete... I would definitely recommend the installer to many people... His knowledge is priceless.

Kyle was hands down the absolute best of the best that your company could've sent! He was very courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and very easy going! If this installation with Kyle was an indication of the type of service that's provided, I'm telling everyone I know that Vivint is the way to go!

Mike was very polite and very efficient. He explained the system and did a great install job for the home panel also! He even vacuumed the debris left from the panel install and he was patient as he assisted us with our credit check.

I had a Vivint alarm system installed today in my home home. The technician was professional and courteous and explained everything in detail to me. The alarm panel is very user friendly. I also had a camera installed over my garage and can view any activity on my cell phone.

Recently bought a house with a system already installed and it only took 2 phone calls and about 30 minutes to get everything up and running. Happy to have extra security for my partner and I, cameras are really slick.

Yes I will recommend my friends. I am happy and secure with your company in Jacksonville and probably in Virginia and hopefully they will be happy as I am. In the future I thinking to add more cameras because all the entrance door should be protected.

I would definitely recommend Vivint. I feel totally safe now. You have to get the video camera outside. It shows what's going on & you can talk to whoever is outside. Joey, who installed our system was awesome, very professional & very cool!

The young man that did my install was very courteous and professional. He made sure I was happy with the install and that I understood how to operate everything. Kevin who installed our system was very knowledgeable about he was doing . Was very good about how to walk us through set ups on our phone and the wall monitor. He did it in a timely manner. He was able to make sure my daughter could hear the alarm because she is hard of hearing.

Could have given more instructions on how to use the system. When my keypad turned red, I did not know how to get it by online. I lóoked up customers service, but did not get a response. Eventually, the system came by on on its own.

My granddaughter recommended Vivint to me due to her loving your service. I placed my order on April 4th, the customer service rep basically rushed through the call and sounded irritated. I then recognized a couple of days later that he entered the wrong address for me after I confirmed it with him twice. Here we are a week and a half later and I still haven’t received any tracking or information regarding my order. I just keep receiving “we’re processing your order”. I should’ve stuck with Ring and utilized my echo devices.

The Vivint technician was extremely nice and very well versed in the knowledge of the system he was installing.. And also very patient....I'm not real fast with all this new technological equipment. He explained the operational workings of the entire system to my son and I.

Aaron with Vivint Security was very helpful and friendly. He had great customer service skills and was knowledgeable with what I needed to get my home secured. I'm sure glad I made the switch over to Vivint, should have done it sooner.

The installer was very knowledgeable and courteous but should have asked the home owner where they would like their control panel to be placed so that unnecessary holes are not left in the wall if it is not where the customer wants it and what to name the entrance and exit ways, but besides that the installer did a great job installing and explaining the system.

Newton ** was a technician that came to my apartment and installed my new Vivint security system and I couldn’t of asked for anyone better. He texted me to let me know what time he would arrive at my residence and he got there at that time. He was very pleasant with me and very helpful. He did his job very professionally and engaged in conversations the whole time he did his work, he really made me feel like I was more than a customer. It was an awesome experience, very smooth, the technician was very considerate with updates via text and phone calls. Once the technician got here to install it he was very considerate, was taking his shoes off, very patient as well as very fast with installing everything. Everything was explained correctly. I have Vivint in my home and love it that’s why we selected vivint for our business. Vivint has been reliable and quick to respond to make sure equipment is up and running. The service tech was very knowledgeable and very helpful in letting us know what was needed of us prior to him being able to install the vivint product.

My installer Miguel was great. Patient professional and kind but he was new and I feel like Vivint failed him. After being in my home for 12 hours, one of the cameras still isn’t working. I’ve paid a considerable amount of money for the service and I’m terribly disappointed. I called the customer service number because my internet was also disconnected in the process and no one is available for 2 more days. Vivint failed me and if I had known this would be such a bad experience, I would have gone with someone else. Removing the equipment isn’t an option because they’ve drilled holes in my home. Just a really disappointing experience. If it were not for Miguel my installer and his perseverance and Kim who intimately helped me get back online, the review would have been a 1 star.

Jay was super knowledgeable and helpful! Friendly and quick. He suggested products to maximize my system, but didn’t pressure me. He was professional and courteous. The Vivint products will be a great addition to our home. I would recommend Vivint to a friend.

Technician came out to reactivate our equipment, and install 2 new items for the system, and he was very professional and knowledgeable about the service. The equipment works very well and the tech answered all of our questions. We have no complaints and would recommend Vivint to anyone looking for an alarm system.

Though there were more window breakage sensors included. Package only came with 1 so it should be said there is only 1 of this or that included and the rest has to be added to your package. Everything else went well.

I had a Vivint installed on my house this morning and I could ask for a better experience. The two technicians/installers that came to my house were very professional. They did an assessment of my security needs. I ended up purchasing additional smart home features. At no time they tried to upsell anything. Very professional attitude and clean after themselves and areas afterwards.

Gabriel ** was extremely helpful and very respectful. He also makes himself available during evening hours making it easier for the process to completed. I can say with confidence that Gabriel went above and beyond and he is truly a hardworking individual.

I ordered a package on April 5. I was told that it was only gonna take one to two days before shipping. I am still waiting on confirmation and still waiting on my order. If I would’ve known this I would have went to ADT which I could have gotten it put in already. They seem to want to take my money right away. Wanted me to do the contract.

The salesman misled me on the package deal that I thought I was receiving. And I didn’t get the equipment that I really needed for the property where the equipment was installed at, so I was not pleased with the salesman that I deal with for this service.

Smoothest transition from a competitor’s security system to Vivint. No regrets at all with canceling with previous company. Vivint Sales Representative took the time to truly accommodate the bundle picked to my home's needs. The budget was set and followed, the Demo on equipment is fantastic, and Sign up took no more than 5 minutes. Installation was done by a professional rather than “DIY” and done the SAME day as sign up. Installer was professional and worked neatly. Installer also helped with setting the equipment up and explaining personalization features. Within hours my home was being monitored from my smartphone with the best company.

The installer was excellent and did his job quickly and efficiently. He was able to change parts of my order on the fly and get me more product when I asked for it. He cleaned up after himself and taught me about all my new equipment.

Guy knocks on my door and told him I have to go pack for military deployment. Says won’t take much time. Took 60 mins and then install was that day without asking what else I had going on. I was told 5 days to cancel but documentation says 3. I had to change my schedule around the last weekend to allow for this and then my thermostat doesn’t hook up and my existing door sensors don’t hook up so I have to pay more for something the salesman was like oh they should hook up with our system. Now if I want to adjust my thermostat I still have to purchase more. The system cost like $2500 bucks which is outrageous considering they are being sold online for like 100-300 bucks for new ones.

Vivint is a professional home security provider and I am happy that I selected them because I now have peace of mind. The salesman was friendly and the technician was experienced and very knowledgeable in all aspects of home security.

The technician, Audrey, was very professional and explained everything clearly to us. She verified our order to ensure she has the correct parts. She walked us through completing our application. After installation she went over programming the panel with us.

System was installed on Tuesday and the cameras don't work properly. I have to wait a week for a tech. This is very frustrating and I'm really unhappy with my experience so far. I expected better service from Vivint. Would not recommend to family and friends.

This is our 3rd Vivint installation (3 separate properties). Today, Jacob was professional and prompt. He was friendly, helpful and made sure we understood how to operate the system before he left. Also, he took time to clean up after himself. I would encourage others to install Vivint.

Very professional and knowledgeable of system. Took time to ensure we knew how to operate software from the Main Board by the front door and the software on our Smart Phone. Ensured that all trash was policed up and all furniture replaced where it was moved from.

Installation had a few surprises regarding placement and exposed cords in the house. Equipment seems nice and is functioning properly. At the end of the appointment I asked about our smoke and CO detectors and the person said they weren’t included. When I attempted to select the option in the post survey that said we hadn’t gotten all of our equipment, he forced me to change my response to say we had gotten all the equipment. I had a phone call I had to take and stepped away. He had already left by the time the meeting ended. I verified from my email that we were supposed to have the CO and smoke detectors. When I tried to call Vivint for help, they said the offices were closed and no one could help me. They gave me a non working number to call. Just another example of no one being willing to help solve a problem when it happens. I have not yet been able to reach anyone for assistance.

Hawah was a great tech. She communicated what she was doing throughout the installation process. We originally looked to purchase our own camera system through Amazon but a friend recommended Vivint. Glad we went with Vivint, the system is really nice and convenient.

Great work done by a helpful and friendly technician, Bobby. He gave good advice about where to put sensors and how much they were able to cover. The system is up and working great, and I am very satisfied with how everything looks and functions.

We love the Vivint product, the variety of equipment, and the ease of putting together a package to meet our needs. The phone sales rep was a pleasure to work with, and the mobile app is very intuitive and responsive.

Called a few times, first 2 sales reps were quick to close the sale but didn’t give option or info. Told them if deal I saw online and was told they don’t know about that and told me $49.99 was the only option if I have cameras. Wasn’t happy but called back and was told the same thing only because the rep was much nicer I signed up for service. I then received a text from a manager Brett ** that offered me a better deal to sign up for $39.99 but he didn’t realize that I already signed up with a different rep. I plan on calling and inquiring about the plan.

Outstanding customer service with a smile, the only knock I will say is that it took over two hours after he got here to start installing the equipment due to paperwork in the office needed to be updated with the correct price. That's not the Technician's fault. I do appreciate sending extra Technicians to help speed up the process. I'm so happy for Vivint that I had field of dreams prior to my install date.

Install and setup were easy. Art did a great job explaining and installing. The system is easy to understand and the components look good. They did not have the finish we wanted for all of the locks, but the alternates look fine.

All in all my experience with Vivint was good. The sales team were very nice & did their best to explain how the product worked to a technically challenged person. The installer was very polite & patient. He made sure I understood how to use the equipment. My only issue was that the whole process went too late in the evening. I didn’t know what to expect but I assumed since he didn’t start until 6:30PM that he would have it completed at a reasonable hour. He didn’t leave until 9:30PM. Had I known it was going to be about 3 hours to do, I would have insisted it be done earlier in the day, another day. The installer worked very efficiently, it just takes some time to get it all done.

The service rep, Brian was very knowledgeable & great with troubleshooting. He gave me great ideas on the placement of sensors & cameras, taking into consideration my design fetish. He was thorough & precise, courteous & so nice, just the way I like.

Install was excellent, but need to upgrade their operational ability. Very frustrating to deal with when need additional Information on account and support (like what is my account #) etc. If this was upgraded it would be a great experience.

Ordering my package through Vivint was, by far, one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had with a large purchase. Their salespeople are deceptive and promise things the installers can’t do. There’s a lot I can say about my experience ranging from the damage they did to my credit score via multiple hard inquiries to the two hours I spent talking to customer support because my sales rep improperly configured my package to collect more than I was quoted. The takeaway is to explore your other options for security systems and understand that if you get Vivint, you’re signing yourself up to be at the mercy of a support team that is, at many times, dishonest and poorly trained.

The technician that came arrived promptly to the time slot I had scheduled. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and a good person that carried the conversation. Rather than having long awkward silences between helping install and set up the system, we shared several stories and conversations and it was an overall good experience.

This install was honesty so friendly. While it did take a while, I appreciated the level of detail it came with. Watching my locks be replaced and all the sensors be synced and tested made all the equipment seem far more reliable. Their employees seem happy with their job, as I enjoy asking probing questions since I take a big issue with companies that treat their employees poorly. The price, features, and services offered are all great, and for what you're getting the price does not seem expensive whatsoever. All in all, between the company, equipment, service, and the employee who installed my equipment, it was a 10/10 experience. The employee had a great sense of customer service and friendliness. I absolutely and highly recommend.

Vivint is committing fraud! Two months ago I called in and canceled my account and paid them off in full! Today they took $8.74 out of my checking account. When I called them they said I hadn’t canceled because I didn’t email them when no one even asked me to do that! This is very poor customer service and that’s half of why I quit them, the other half is their equivalent never worked well, and they charge $55 a month for their service! I’ve already tore their things out and installed Google Nest cameras and I only pay $6 a month! I’m a hundred time happier with Google. I do not recommend Vivint!

The tech was extremely nice and was very patience in answering all my questions. I loved how he took the time to explain things and showed me how to use the app and the devices. I like how he was able to install everything without any problems.

The gentleman that came to check our equipment and get everything set up was so helpful and went over everything on how to set up my phone. And made sure everything worked correctly! How to add users and change codes and set up two bolts with the keypad and I love it!
