It was quick and easy to set up and activate the Vivint security system. Everyone through the company was so great to work with. Their system and app is very user friendly. I will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a home security system.

The guy was awesome. He explained step by step on to us security system in the house. If we have questions about, he would come back out and explain it again step by step. I would recommend him to anyone.

The technician (Matt **), was fantastic. Professional, polite and efficient - even when faced with some technical complications. He is a huge asset and reflects positively of your company. The picture quality from the cameras is great and I like the notifications option for people ‘lingering’ (aka trespassing).

Everything is easy to learn and very cohesive. Love all our cameras with whistle feature!! The staying and leaving options are a nice touch. The deadbolt with the pin is very nice; especially being able to give/remove a pin to someone.

The customer service was amazing the installer was very knowledgeable. The installer informed and explained the system very well. The cameras are very vivid and the picture quality is awesome and the smart hub looks like a tablet on my wall. It looks sweet.

Door and window alarms, doorbell, cameras. Motion detector to cover any movement in house. All installed expertly and quickly. Operation explained thoroughly. Practiced arming and disarming with explanation of each step. Wish I had purchased earlier. Enjoy checking perimeter of property prior to retiring. Good knowing home is protected when I'm away. Salesperson was very knowledgeable of products and helped us with rescheduling of installation to meet our schedule. Service installation was efficient and smooth. Installation staff is very helpful and gave us clear instructions on alarm system and cameras. Cameras are very clear and cover a very wide area of our property. The motion activation is great and the ability to speak through your phone is very convenient.

I was recently setup with ADT. I'm so glad Vivint got to me in time for me to switch. In the long time, the service is cheaper and I actually would own the equipment. Just makes sense. Plus, setup was quick! Nick had me done with everything in like an hour. I love how integrated everything is with the app. Makes keeping track of everything easy and convenient.

Kimball was the gentleman who installed my system and he was fantastic! He was able to add a couple additional items on the spot and was more than willing to help me move things to make things work! Great service and extremely patient!

Cameron did an excellent job! Very professional & thorough. He even stayed w/ me for 45 mins trying to connect my garage door to my app so I can integrate it w/ our system, something he totally didn’t have to do but he did because he rocks. He deserves all the glory, a raise, some praise, did I mention a raise? I feel safer now that Cameron has laid a blanket of protection over my house and family.

Best customer service I ever had. They answer all my questions. They install all my security system in one day. The system is top of the line and the quality of the cameras they are amazing. The best price you can get for the quality and the safe of you home.

Equipment is top notch, but you sure pay for it. Phone agent and tech had a few sales pitches but nothing high pressure. Overall I'm impressed. Install tech wall fished all the wiring without even being asked. Very clean install.

Leo was professional and fast! He got all of our new equipment set up in the best locations possible within our home and outside too. Then, he explained to my husband how to use the main panel as well as the app. He even added our teenaged son when he got home, and waited to me to return from running an errand to explain what I needed to do too. Vivint made the process to install a new alarm system to replace my old alarm system quick and efficient. Kyle, the Vivint employee was clear with the instructions on how to use the alarm system and his installation was done very quickly and efficiently.

I recommend Vivint Home Security. It was easy to purchase, great terms and quick install. Everything was integrated from thermostats to garage door opener. Only negative was the cost of equipment but the quality is great. I highly recommend this company.

The door alarm system and a panel for the house and two cameras that I'm getting myself. They did a good job of doing my paperwork and getting me set up for everything so I like to thank them for the good job that they have did for me.

The Individual was friendly and knowledgeable. He set up system and went thru the procedures for using system, and showed app to use to answer any questions. He was in and out in approximately an hour. He is a very good representative for the company.

We love technology and we have only had our service (security sensors on three doors, doorbell camera, thermostat control, CO2/Carbon Monoxide alarm) for a few days but so far so good. We love the ability to control everything from our smartphones. Very nice technician!

Service was on point, two of the items are missing and both customer service and technician made us aware ahead of time. Technician clean area where installations were done and made sure all of our questions were answered before leaving.

I really like the key pad lock and cameras. I don't have to worry about lost keys with little one. The camera allow to see everything and keep eye on kids, cars and land. The interact actions with the app are awesome. Talking machine voice surprises anyone who walk up to your door with notification. GOOD JOB!!

I have not had this system for 24 hours and I am hoping not to regret my decision to purchase. The security features are great and the camera views and door access are great, but I am experiencing issues with my air conditioning and thermostat. Prior to this installation my house was cooling perfectly. When the tech was here to install the equipment I notice the house was not cooling. From 7pm to 9pm the temperature did not change. He reset it and it went down a few degrees. He said it was probably the constant going in and out of the home causing it to not cool well.

The work was done quickly and professionally. They showed me how the system works and how to use it on my phone. This is a good investment on my family's security and protection and anyone who has a home should get Vivint.

I love the upgrade and clearness of the cameras recording. It is easy to use and love the easiness of usage through my phone. I can manage the entire system with just a click from my phone. I feel safer and more at ease being able to know who is knocking at my door.

Installer knew what he was doing. My concern is the cost of the equipment. I was told when I signed up that I could use my existing Vivint equipment but when the installer came he informed me that it was all outdated so I had to buy everything new.

The people gave a great explanation with videos and the install went smooth. My father in law has this same system for the last 10 years with no fault and the one button panic is great for my mother. I recommend this to anyone who wants peace of mind.

I had just purchased the outdoor camera pro and had it installed today, the camera stopped working not even 24 hours having it. The technician was very unprofessional, not prepared and in a rush. Overall very disappointed and starting to regret taking my business to them.

I had to go with another security system and have not been pleased with it. Eric came today and took out all my previous security system and installed my new Vivint system. At my appointment, Matt was super nice, explained everything very well, very accommodating and took my concerns into consideration. He made sure everything was smooth and that I felt confident and using the system and that somebody could help me in the future if needed.

The technician was very friendly and helpful with explaining everything. He was also very nice and genuine. He took his time and ensured that I knew how to operate the equipment and how To make calls if I’m in trouble. I feel 100 percent safe now.

Initial call from Vivint was ok but they were not accurate with the info that was giving them and that did not get relayed to the installer. Had additional equipment on schedule that I didn’t ask for and a price that was more than what I was told on the phone. Installer was nice and did a good job. He had to make a couple of calls to undo what the previous person put on our account. Only knocks on installer are he left hand prints on walls and equipment that I had to go back and clean up (tons of fun with high ceilings) and he had me tie in my MYQ garage door opener but it is not showing up in the app. This morning I see I got charged $199 for something and I have no clue what that is about…and of course billing isn’t open until Monday. Right now, I’m not seeing that Vivint is any better than ADT.

Thermostat is not working on day 2. Can't figure it out. Was not shown or given anything to help work thermostat. No guide no instructions. Can't get it to turn on. Don't understand anything. Very frustrated app isn't working.

He worked tirelessly and was very efficient and informative in explaining how to operate our new system. We are extremely happy with the system and the technician and installation.

Everything went well initially. However, after installation the pro appears to have wanted to raise the price by approximately 25.00 dollars. I thought that was unsound business practice. Other than that he gets 100%. The pro was very professional in showing us all the necessary steps in operation of the equipment. I feel very competent going forward with them. Thank you.

I called to set up a new account when the sales associate told me my cameras would be replaced. An hour later they called me back and told me that they wouldn’t stand by that and they was not going to replace my cameras. They took 200 out of my account and basically are doing nothing for me. If you can record the people breaking into my house then why do I need your system. I will be canceling my contract and will be going with another company. Vivint is trash and I see why my family and friends have switched.

Davis was super nice and helpful, made sure no questions were left unanswered and helped make sure I knew how to work the system. I’m excited to have this security system to help protect my family and I and give us all peace of mind.

When I first heard about this company my husband and I was going to give ADT a try. I was at Kroger and heard three people in a conversation about Vivint and they changed my mind. I call and got more information and we decided to go with Vivint. Shannon came in and my husband was impressed with her work and said she was very professional. She did an awesome job. I was at work. My husband call me and I spoke briefly with her and I was also impressed. I would highly recommend Shannon.

My installer, Danny **, was polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. There were some challenges around my wifi router and the locations of my power outlets, but the installer solved each issue and overcame every obstacle. I am looking forward to my experience with Vivint Smart Home Security.

The service was great. Any questions I had it was answered. Came and got done fast. I was able to log in right away and look at my cameras with no problems. Got everything done without having to go back. I just think it’s Worth it if you need a system.

Been a dedicated customer for well over 10 years. Took the day off to have no one show up for us to upgrade our system, since they said our system was outdated and we'd been without protection for months. Which they still charged us for. Spent the whole day waiting on a tech that was scheduled to come out. I get a call at 9 am saying they'd have to reschedule after I took the day off from work specifically for them to come out. Spent all day trying to get a tech out to upgrade to be told they'd have someone out by 4 pm. Again, there was a no show. Customer service jerked me around. They never would put us through to a supervisor. They left nothing but a bad taste in our mouth. If you have nothing to do but wait on a tech to come out and don't show up. Then Vivint's for you. If not, find a reliable alarm company that doesn't Jerk you around and waste your time.

I am quite pleased with the introduction to Vivint. The representatives and the technician were thorough in their descriptions, answered all of my questions, and were friendly and polite. I like the clarity of the photos and the loudness of the alarm.

Trevor did an outstanding job with installing and explaining our system. He identified some vulnerabilities that we hadn’t considered and adjusted our package accordingly. We will be recommending Vivint to any of our friends or family who is in the market for a home security system.

Only have had the product/service for an hour now so I can’t give a rating on Vivint security just yet. I can only report on the installation process. I forgot the gentleman’s name, but he was a class act and did a great job.

Had a good installation experience. The tech was knowledgeable and installed neatly. Remained focus on all tasks. The process was about 11/2 hours. The person who was in trainer was helpful. The cameras are clear and all equipment was working properly.

David came into our house with a new video doorbell camera and new controls for our alarm system. It seems to function very well and we were very pleased with this experience. The installer Alan was very professional and quickly had us up and running. He and his helper were knowledgeable and efficient.

Garage door access was not included in my package after lengthy discussion about it. Representative was knowledgeable & friendly. Technician was timely & cleaned up work area as he completed tasks. Technician worked diligently to be sure I was satisfied with installation although there was a hiccup with the camera & thermostat.

My home security system install was quick and easy today. My tech Ariel did a phenomenal job. He was communicative walking me through the entire process and ensured all wires were hid the best they could do so that the esthetic of the area was not disrupted. He reviewed how to use the system on the screen and my phone app as well. Definitely would recommend him and the company to everyone.

Jerry was great. He took his time, didn't leave a mess and as, me, a senior explained things to me so I wouldn't go off the deep end in a mound of confusion. Once I found out what the Shield would do, you know, take me back to the start so I could go out and get into trouble all over again. I was happy.

Getting Vivint installed and working was a real treat. The entire process from the appointment setup to the installation was clearly and efficiently communicated with no secrets and no surprises. The technician was clear and knowledgeable about the setup and explained how to use the Vivint setup perfectly. I couldn’t have been happier with the system and the process.

After having an phone call appointment set at 2pm, all I got was a text message because the rep said he was “on a call” then we finish up everything. I never got my agreement to sign. I sent numerous of messages, 5 hours later still haven’t gotten it. I can’t sign into my account without creating an account but without the agreement email can’t do anything at all either.

Vivint has quality equipment however the technician was hurrying through the installation. Also I wasn’t able to get my garage myQ wifi app to work with the Vivint app and he said wasn’t much help with that. Overall it was a satisfying experience but I wished he was more patient and helpful with getting all what I wanted installed.

Got Vivint installed in our new home. The guy who came in to install was phenomenally good. The folks on the phone were great. The tech is wonderful, 4K videos, cameras with speakers to talk to visitors, security panel is very intuitive to use. And the phone app is wonderful - keep an eye on your house from any corner of the world and interact with any visitors from anywhere too. Pretty happy with them. This was my second Vivint install.

The follow up technician installed MyQ monitor on my garage door. Prior to the 2nd tech installation the first tech attempted to install Vivint system to garage without the MyQ. Stopped working. Now I can’t open garage from keypad. I’m happy with overall system. I will call to setup tech to return to fix issue with door keypad.

The seller was deceptive. Even when confirming the order on video and it asked about the cancellation fees, he urged me to say yes even though we NEVER talked about the cancellation the entire time. I found a booklet after he left and in the very back it had a slip about the cancellation. That is the only way I found out.

Overall I was able to get my system installed and working. I have the hub, a doorbell camera, window/door sensors, motion sensor, water sensor, glass break sensor. There were some issues that could be resolved/improved. I did not have enough wire from my previous doorbell and needed to extend it by going to a hardware store myself. Based on YouTube videos this is a common issue that could be resolved with a little bit of wire and wire nuts ring included with the doorbell. There were no instructions on how to mount and install the doorbell. The app had a link to “how to install” that actually just took me to a phone number to call customer service.

We called for a new system on our home. Paul came out and went over the packages with us. The installer came out and did a fantastic job and kept everything clean. After installing the technician went over all operations.

The Vivint technician (Daryl) was not able to arrive as scheduled but stayed in communication providing updates about estimated arrival time. Upon arrival, he was very professional and detailed with explanations and work. The work was completed within a reasonable time.

I was very happy with the quality of Marco’s work. He definitely knows his work. My only reason for giving this a 4 out 5 is due to the lack of info presented to me on my first initial call with the person who gave me my quote. There was a lot of info that individual left out.

Install tech (Daniel) was very helpful and professional assisting me with activation of an alarm system that came with a house I purchased. I have not had time to experience the system or how it operates but I have been informed of a customer service number to call anytime I need more help.

Equipment was bad and scheduled a service technician to come onsite. Appt. was from 8-12. Called to check status at 12:30, he was marked traveling. Called 1hr later, call was closed, saying no one was home. They said I had to reschedule after I took off of work. I said no, and asked to transfer me to the retention department. I was canceling my service. Trying to cancel was a nightmare. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they said they couldn't get a hold of one. They said the cancelation takes 30days. I said that was unacceptable.

Super friendly employees. They were able to answer all my questions and took the time to make sure I understand the system. Very happy with the experience! They got me a great price for everything I wanted and got it installed and functioning the same day!
