The technician (Matt **), was fantastic. Professional, polite and efficient - even when faced with some technical complications. He is a huge asset and reflects positively of your company. The picture quality from the cameras is great and I like the notifications option for people ‘lingering’ (aka trespassing).

Everything is easy to learn and very cohesive. Love all our cameras with whistle feature!! The staying and leaving options are a nice touch. The deadbolt with the pin is very nice; especially being able to give/remove a pin to someone.

Sergio our installer was very courteous and clean and left no debris behind. We have a new doorbell a security system our doors have alarms and our front patio has a camera. The camera has very clear picture. We look forward to our future together.

This experience was pretty good for me it was simple to understand and the installation was fairly fast. 2. Left a mess everywhere he worked, wire, screws, drywall dust, and wood chips.
3. He did not measure the height of the ceiling so when he started to install the outdoor camera he 1st drilled a hole into my living room.

Camera installation was delayed due to part shortage. Advised that camera should arrive within one week of the system installation. Installer was courteous and efficient. Arrived timely and methodical with system installation. Equipment appears sturdy.!!!

Door and window alarms, doorbell, cameras. Motion detector to cover any movement in house. All installed expertly and quickly. Operation explained thoroughly. Practiced arming and disarming with explanation of each step. Wish I had purchased earlier. Enjoy checking perimeter of property prior to retiring. Good knowing home is protected when I'm away. Salesperson was very knowledgeable of products and helped us with rescheduling of installation to meet our schedule. Service installation was efficient and smooth. Installation staff is very helpful and gave us clear instructions on alarm system and cameras. Cameras are very clear and cover a very wide area of our property. I was recently setup with ADT. I'm so glad Vivint got to me in time for me to switch. In the long time, the service is cheaper and I actually would own the equipment. Just makes sense. Plus, setup was quick! Nick had me done with everything in like an hour. I love how integrated everything is with the app. Makes keeping track of everything easy and convenient.

Cameron did an excellent job! Very professional & thorough. He even stayed w/ me for 45 mins trying to connect my garage door to my app so I can integrate it w/ our system, something he totally didn’t have to do but he did because he rocks. He deserves all the glory, a raise, some praise, did I mention a raise? I feel safer now that Cameron has laid a blanket of protection over my house and family.

Equipment is top notch, but you sure pay for it. Phone agent and tech had a few sales pitches but nothing high pressure. Overall I'm impressed. Install tech wall fished all the wiring without even being asked. Very clean install.

Leo was professional and fast! He got all of our new equipment set up in the best locations possible within our home and outside too. Then, he explained to my husband how to use the main panel as well as the app. He even added our teenaged son when he got home, and waited to me to return from running an errand to explain what I needed to do too. So, our whole household is on the same page and we feel safe and secure!

Worked with a tech named Spence. Phenomenal guy. Seemed to know a lot more than just cameras and in addition to wanting to make sure my wife and I felt safe in our neighborhood. He also wanted to make sure I had my other home needs as well. Love the cameras. Love the service. Love being able to unlock my house with my home and would highly recommend this to another friend. I really like the key pad lock and cameras. I don't have to worry about lost keys with little one. The camera allow to see everything and keep eye on kids, cars and land. I have not had this system for 24 hours and I am hoping not to regret my decision to purchase. The security features are great and the camera views and door access are great, but I am experiencing issues with my air conditioning and thermostat. Prior to this installation my house was cooling perfectly. When the tech was here to install the equipment I notice the house was not cooling. From 7pm to 9pm the temperature did not change. He reset it and it went down a few degrees. He said it was probably the constant going in and out of the home causing it to not cool well.
This morning I checked the thermostat and it still had not reached 74 degrees. I contact customer support and we went through a series of tests. At the end the customer support rep indicated I need to contact a HVAC technician for further assistance. I am frustrated because my home is hot, I had no issues with the cooling of my AC prior to this Vivint installation and my HVAC company is not available for service today!

Initial call from Vivint was ok but they were not accurate with the info that was giving them and that did not get relayed to the installer. Had additional equipment on schedule that I didn’t ask for and a price that was more than what I was told on the phone. Installer was nice and did a good job. He had to make a couple of calls to undo what the previous person put on our account. Only knocks on installer are he left hand prints on walls and equipment that I had to go back and clean up (tons of fun with high ceilings) and he had me tie in my MYQ garage door opener but it is not showing up in the app. This morning I see I got charged $199 for something and I have no clue what that is about…and of course billing isn’t open until Monday. Right now, I’m not seeing that Vivint is any better than ADT.

I called to set up a new account when the sales associate told me my cameras would be replaced. An hour later they called me back and told me that they wouldn’t stand by that and they was not going to replace my cameras. They took 200 out of my account and basically are doing nothing for me. If you can record the people breaking into my house then why do I need your system. I will be canceling my contract and will be going with another company. Vivint is trash and I see why my family and friends have switched.

Been a dedicated customer for well over 10 years. Took the day off to have no one show up for us to upgrade our system, since they said our system was outdated and we'd been without protection for months. Which they still charged us for. Spent the whole day waiting on a tech that was scheduled to come out. I get a call at 9 am saying they'd have to reschedule after I took the day off from work specifically for them to come out. Spent all day trying to get a tech out to upgrade to be told they'd have someone out by 4 pm. Again, there was a no show. Customer service jerked me around. They never would put us through to a supervisor. They left nothing but a bad taste in our mouth. If you have nothing to do but wait on a tech to come out and don't show up. Then Vivint's for you. If not, find a reliable alarm company that doesn't Jerk you around and waste your time.

Jerry was great. He took his time, didn't leave a mess and as, me, a senior explained things to me so I wouldn't go off the deep end in a mound of confusion. Once I found out what the Shield would do, you know, take me back to the start so I could go out and get into trouble all over again. I was happy.

Getting Vivint installed and working was a real treat. The entire process from the appointment setup to the installation was clearly and efficiently communicated with no secrets and no surprises. After having an phone call appointment set at 2pm, all I got was a text message because the rep said he was “on a call” then we finish up everything. I never got my agreement to sign. I sent numerous of messages, 5 hours later still haven’t gotten it. I can’t sign into my account without creating an account but without the agreement email can’t do anything at all either.

Vivint has quality equipment however the technician was hurrying through the installation. Also I wasn’t able to get my garage myQ wifi app to work with the Vivint app and he said wasn’t much help with that. Overall it was a satisfying experience but I wished he was more patient and helpful with getting all what I wanted installed.

Got Vivint installed in our new home. The guy who came in to install was phenomenally good. The folks on the phone were great. The tech is wonderful, 4K videos, cameras with speakers to talk to visitors, security panel is very intuitive to use. And the phone app is wonderful - keep an eye on your house from any corner of the world and interact with any visitors from anywhere too. Pretty happy with them. This was my second Vivint install.

The follow up technician installed MyQ monitor on my garage door. Prior to the 2nd tech installation the first tech attempted to install Vivint system to garage without the MyQ. Stopped working. Now I can’t open garage from keypad. I’m happy with overall system. I will call to setup tech to return to fix issue with door keypad.

The seller was deceptive. Even when confirming the order on video and it asked about the cancellation fees, he urged me to say yes even though we NEVER talked about the cancellation the entire time. I found a booklet after he left and in the very back it had a slip about the cancellation. That is the only way I found out.

Overall I was able to get my system installed and working. I have the hub, a doorbell camera, window/door sensors, motion sensor, water sensor, glass break sensor. There were some issues that could be resolved/improved. I did not have enough wire from my previous doorbell and needed to extend it by going to a hardware store myself. Based on YouTube videos this is a common issue that could be resolved with a little bit of wire and wire nuts ring included with the doorbell. There were no instructions on how to mount and install the doorbell. The app had a link to “how to install” that actually just took me to a phone number to call customer service.

Equipment was bad and scheduled a service technician to come onsite. Appt. was from 8-12. Called to check status at 12:30, he was marked traveling. Called 1hr later, call was closed, saying no one was home. They said I had to reschedule after I took off of work. I said no, and asked to transfer me to the retention department. I was canceling my service. Trying to cancel was a nightmare. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they said they couldn't get a hold of one. They said the cancelation takes 30days. I said that was unacceptable.
After going back and forth, they finally cancelled it that day. Monitoring service was horrible. After an alert would go off, I got a phone call about 30mins later asking if everything was OK. Equipment would constantly go offline. After my contract was up, they were still charging as if I was paying for Equipment. They never brought it down to monitoring fees. This company is shady and I would never recommend them. Relatives of mine said the service was horrible and will be canceling once their contract is up. I purchased security surveillance system that was better than Vivint.
