Very pleased with the entire experience. Salesman was pleasant and knowledgeable. The installation technician was efficient and got done in an efficient and timely manner. I am very satisfied and excited with my new Vivint smart home security system. I would definitely refer friends to Vivint.

I always say. Let it happen. Don’t make it happen. Door to Door sales is a tough business. Shawn gets 5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. He made it easy. No pressure. About an hour is all it takes to go over the details. I asked a lot questions. Shawn did not try to sell me a bag of air. Lord knows I have enough of them. VIVINT must be doing something right. It’s not easy keeping the good ones around. It’s about 1/2 hour to install. The same day. Who does that. “VIVINT” That’s Who. Thank you.

I am very pleased. Collin arrived early and was ready to go and very polite. He was super helpful with showing how to set everything up after he was done with installation of cameras and doorbell door lock and garage door remote. He was quick and diligent in his install and made sure I liked all camera placements. Super pleased with Collin and the installation he did! A++++ for sure! Would want him back if I ever got more gear or needed something fixed!

A phenomenal first experience with Vivint. The initial sales rep gave a great description of products & why you’re better than current provider. Same day install was even better! The installer was exceptional as well! Thank you for a great experience!

Quick installation. Great picture quality. Would recommend to a friend. Kind and courteous sales representative. Installation team was knowledgeable and efficient with the installation as well as answering any questions. Seems like a fair overall price. Solid value for money.

The sales rep I spoke with Zach was attentive, professional and courteous. The tech Cole that was supposed to call me but didn't he started sending texts to try to have me setup the system. Needless to say I'm already disappointed as text is not convenient if you have questions. Cole only called after I requested he call. Hopefully this is not how Vivint operates.

Tech was amazing. I had agreed to financing the new system, but after the tech left I checked and was charged the whole up front amount. Not sure who messed up, but pretty crappy. Thank goodness I could afford it.

Installation. I want to terminate service. I don't need it and all the in and out is confusing. The guys were very nice. I understand I was to be a "model" home so to say. Even though there was no upfront charges I still have to pay monthly for something I don't want.

We had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Aaron ** handled our sales experience. He always responded promptly to questions and guided us through everything. He gave us the VIP treatment. Gregory ** did our installation. He was professional and solved several small problems related to installation. I highly recommend both of them. Thanks for making our experience so great.

I was a previous Ring door bell customer and simply wanted more security. Vivint seems to be very user friendly and the camera quality is clear! Our technician, Justin, was very professional and answered all of our questions that we had during the set up!

Salesman was a good salesman. Did not however follow up with us as he promised. The installer did not clean up after himself and put furniture back where he moved it. Other than that, the system seems to work well.

I was not please with the aggression way your salesman interrupted when I was reading the contract for purchasing the equipment. He kept telling me that I didn’t need to read it. Secondly he was prompting me to say “yes” when interacting with the video questioning me about information I was told. Some of the information was in the contract I took time to read.

After the installation of my security system. My ac hasn’t been working since, only blows hot air/ heat. Even though it’s set at 50degrees, it’s 89 degrees in my house right now and I can’t get the tech to return my text.

I was looking for a security system that was set up to my specs. Vivint came to my door and offered exactly what I was looking for. A great deal. The sales person and technician were very knowledgeable of their products and where to place the cameras for a better view for security purposes.

Installation was very quick. The installer was very professional, his work was nice, no cords dangling or hanging loose in my garage when he was done. He cleaned up after himself very well and explained how to setup the cameras on my phone well.

Your tech Roden, did a fantastic job installing the new equipment! He was very thorough in explaining to us how to use it. He modeled the process for us and then ask us to do it ourselves. We’re very happy at his professionalism and kind manners.

Both techs provided great customer service. Have a good explanation of how the system works and made sure everything works before leaving the job site. Did not leave any trash behind and discarded all trash properly. Also, both tech respected the homeowners by wearing booties upon entering the residence.

This security system is very efficient and essential to provide the customer with feeling secure at home. It offers great options and clear visibility of your property. I recommend this system to everyone. The representatives are very informative and friendly. I am so thankful for accepting my new security system as I have more comfort at home.

Chris the Tech was great. He was professional and followed instructions. He was upfront on the time frame but finished job ahead of time. Was respectful of the time it was and treated us fair. Second tech David was also good, was respectful.

Really friendly people and they got right to work and finished pretty quickly and they answered any questions I had. I like that I will be able to take the service to another house when the time comes that I got to move again.

Good cameras, great offers and I like it how it works. I see everything and my house is safe. Good good. I like it how the sellers explain in good details. They are good person. I pretty recommend this Vivint.

Yes I would most definitely recommend to family and friends. So far we like the service. The salesman was very nice and not pushy at all. The installation team were very polite and knowledgeable. The speed of installation was very fast. All done within hours.

The technician JT assigned to my home was courteous, he explained all facets of what was to be expected. My door bell camera is broken he explained that door bell was no longer in stock. I had concerns because that was not explained to me when I called in for service. I was not in position to upgrade but I needed my camera. I asked JT if there was an anchored camera that would be capable to my system. He stated yes but he had to get permission to install it. He did and the installation and reactivating of my system was done very well.

Everything went well with installation and the buying process was made very easy. Steve did a great job of making sure we got everything we need. Both made sure that we had everything completed day of. Looking forward to the product and buying add ons in the future.

Professional and expertise of employees was grateful helpful to understand what I really needed in terms of security for my family. In terms of costs and charges which is go hand in hand with service, I really appreciate it because I was needed of a lower cost security service. Now I have lower cost of good quality service.

Overall it was a good experience. The salesman was nice and informative. The installers were great very fast and helpful. The problem I had with this experience was the time. The salesman knocked on our door at 8:30 pm. That’s a little late in my opinion. We let him in and purchased. Ok, then the installer came. They were nice and fast. The problem is they didn’t leave until nearly 1 am.

Our tech Bailey did a great job installing everything and explaining it all to use on how it works. He was efficient and let us know that if there are issues or anything just to reach out. He explained how everything was to work.

The security camera quality is amazing, I love the pool motion detector. The convenience of the app with all sorts of products is well worth it. So happy to have switched to a security system that feels personalized to exactly what will work for our needs.

The sales person was very knowledgeable and the installer was very thorough. The installer was extremely respectful and made sure he cleaned up after himself. The installation was able to be completed the same day we signed up for the service. The camera recording was very clear and covered most of our outside.

It was great that a technician was able to come and do install in such a quick and efficient manner. Finally getting a security system has given me peace of mind and I do appreciate having a system that has backups in case of power loss or wifi loss. That was the big seller for me.

Tim was great! Professional and polite! Even cleaned up his mess with his little vacuum!! Very informative about the equipment and how to use. He made sure I understood my brochure, as well as the app. I described what I needed and he delivered with no issues! Pretty cool equipment and works well with my internet and iPhone.

I had a great experience. The boys were very respectful, took their shoes off at the door and introduced their self to the whole family. They made sure that my hard of hearing husband understood and heard everything. Nick was very enthusiastic and educated about his job and perfecting my family. Justin installed our system and was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Tech was knowledgeable about the products installed. Gave us a quick run down of the equipment after the installation was complete in a professional fashion. At the end the tech made sure everything was in working order and that the quality of the equipment was to our satisfaction. I am definitely wanting to get a couple more cameras put up.

The sales man was great. The install was great. I’m not a computer guy app is very easy. The installer walked us through everything. I felt no pressure at all. Tyler explained everything very well. Ty was great with explaining app and getting everything set up and walk us the the screen.

Mitch came in and did an install for me in a Rancho Cordova condo unit. He checked my height and adjusted the panel to make sure I had perfect access to it, installed all the sensors really fast, helped me setup and connect my thermostat that was already installed in the home, showed me how the panel worked on the panel and on my phone, and was really pleasant to conversate with! Overall, everything went so smoothly (in a week that everything had been going wrong for me) and I will stick with Vivint until I die now simply because Mitch is an amazing human being and that made me feel confident in putting my trust into Vivint. If I move again, Vivint is most definitely my go-to for home security now!

Pleasantly surprised at the low pressure, but informative sales pitch, and the speed with which the whole process happened, as well as the politeness of both the sales rep and the technician. They made it simple to understand, and painless to have it installed.

George was great! From start to finish he was very patient and thorough. He explained every device, what they were and how they were used. He made sure we understood all aspects of the system. We are very happy with the service we received from George and would highly recommend Vivint.

My Vivint installer Cesar was awesome and very helpful and answered all of my questions and showed me step by step how to operate my security system from the panel and from my phone quick and easy like a pro.

He was a very nice and knowledgeable associate who stayed as long as he needed to finish the job. We would recommend him to anyone we know. He knew all the equipment which did what and its purpose. Most definitely will use Vivint again.

Great experience. Solid installation. The people that represent Vivint were kind, and easy to work with. They were very instructive. We appreciated them helping setting up the system and going through the phone apps and all procedures. I would recommend their service and technicians.

The sales rep (Logan) and install tech (Demontre) were both professional, friendly, and a pleasure to have in my home. Couldn’t ask for better service. They were willing to stay as late as needed and had no issues with rescheduling for the next morning. Thanks guys!!!

Billy came out to install my alarm system. He was very professional and punctual. After installation he made sure to explain everything and make sure we understood how it operates. The process was easy. The installation time was fast. I would definitely recommend Vivint security and Billy **.

The sales guy was great but the pitch was too long. But a very nice kid. The guy that installed was more than excellent! Installed everything thing fairly quick and knew his stuff extremely well when explaining everything after it was installed. So far the system is great but it’s only been 24 hours.

The gentlemen who came out were very courteous and professional, gave great presentations and explained with detail precision. Technician was awesome. Very knowledgeable of the equipment. Tech explained system and working of the system in a way that I understood and I am able to work the system without any difficulty, very nice young man, I love the work he did and the way he explained to me how to operate it.

We decided to purchase your alarm system and they brought out a tech quick. They told us it would be pretty quick and smooth. Well, the tech got here at around 6:30pm and it was well after 10pm when they left and the job was not complete. The front door camera doesn’t work and apparently there are 2 issues with the system that’s causing it to show as malfunctions on the app. We asked for the front door lock and when they got here, they didn’t have it. So now we got a system installed that’s half working and they have to come back Wednesday to finish. My 3 day trial better NOT start until these issues are resolved. The tech told me not to worry because a master technician would come with him on Wednesday. My excitement to get Vivint quickly turned into disappointment. I hope this is a decision that I don’t regret.

From Casey’s sales personality to Tyler’s courtesy and expertise during the install, it was a pleasant experience all around! Would highly recommend to friends and family. They do a thorough job making sure that everything is understood and working properly.

So far I love the cameras and the service was amazing. Lucas and Adam were outstanding!! They both need some form of kickback for as hard as they worked and for the quality customer service they both provided. Adam cleaned up after himself and Lucas came back to check in to see how the installation went. Amazing Young men.

I love the set up. It gives us peace of mind with our smaller children and as they grow older. The cameras are very accurate. The locking door is a bonus. I would definitely recommend this. The installation was quick and easy.

We purchased a house that supposedly had Vivint as a primary supplier. We were asked if we wanted to continue the service, we discussed and decided that since we had a built in system our only issue was the month to month payment.

It was a really good experience dealing with Nic and Alec. Both young men were very polite and friendly. They seemed very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions we had. Alec was very helpful showing us how to use everything and getting our phones set up with the system. Alec cleaned any mess that was made with his installation, leaving everything how it was when they got there. Really enjoyed the whole interaction with them both.

I had Vivint security system installed today. Justin was the technician and not only did he completed the install, but he took his time doing so. He provided exceptional customer service and provided important information, feedback and suggestions. Justin created such a great experience with this installation and was very communicative every step of the way.

Changed rating to 5 stars because they resolved my account issue. They also refunded my activation fee. The system is working great and set up was very easy. The monthly fee is reasonable and the customer service is 24/7.

Services received was great from beginning to end. Joey was awesome and I feel very secure with my new system. Everything was explained on how to use the equipment and Joey to his time with setting up the services. I recommend your company to anyone that need your services.

Technician was amazing, walked me through everything, was nice and professional. He installed and tested the system. He helped my children understand the system as well. The system is easy to use and even my 10 year old is able to use it.

Our sales person was very thorough in going through our wants and needs. He was able to get a technician to install our system that night. Then he came by the next day to make sure the installation went well. The technician was very knowledgeable. He methodically laid all devices out and within a few hours we were totally up and running. He showed us how to use the panel and app.

Great and easy purchase and setup experience. I got lucky and the installation started right after purchase was complete. We were up and running same day. The salesperson walked through everything in detail and explained all the features and pricing. Definitely recommend it!

Complete liars, charge for items you say You Do Not Want. Will not allow you to make an appointment for install even when you tell them I CAN NOT DO IT NOW. I am paying $2404. for a security system that advises me my back door is open. The front door sensor does not work. At 11:00 pm I had 4 young men in my home. I wanted them OUT. I was fearful as a senior this is not right…. This company needs to be shut down. You can not cancel. They don't answer their phone and hang up on you time and time again. The WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER USED. Buyer BEWARE- SEND THE SALES PERSON AWAY - Once you sign up they don't care they get their $$ from Citizen One and they are done they will not give you any service. SCAM COMPANY

He was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. He took his time installing everything. At one point we had a minor issue installing the lock on the door so he took his time and kept adjusting it. Thank you for your help

My experience with getting my home security set up by Cedrin went very well. He was very friendly and respectful of my home. He set everything up in a timely manner and was able to answer any questions that I had.

Nice guy. He did nice install and explained as best as he could. I made mistake setting up app. Password mistake So he couldn’t go over how to use app. I need to call company and reset password and have someone explain and help set up. - So far I give Braiden a 10.

Cameras, panel & Arming system are great but I still haven’t ever got my doorbell and few other things I’m paying for. It has been about 3 weeks and I still haven’t heard anything about it. The home visitor told me to be patient with them. As I completely understand but also I don’t understand why I’m paying for it when I have not yet even received it.

DO NOT agree to the “Trial Period” of a Vivint Home Security System unless you are SURE you can commit! We tried it, the Sales Rep gave us a week Trial instead of the standard 3 days, and on day 6, I called Customer Care to tell them that we liked the System and it seemed like a good deal but we crunched the numbers and we were just a little concerned that taking on a new monthly bill might be biting off a little more than we could chew right now so we wanted to cancel and have them come get the equipment… The Customer Care Rep basically told me that he couldn’t acknowledge the extension on the Trial Period because it wasn’t notated by the Sales Rep and since it was past the usual 3 day Trial Period, he couldn’t initiate the cancellation and we were stuck with this System that we didn’t agree to and weren’t sure we could afford!

The guys were great and did the best they could based on the circumstances which were: it was raining, wifi connection took longer than expected and someone else has to come in to complete. System seems to be working properly. They were late arriving due to being backed up on another. But overall they did a great job

Connecting with VIVINT was one of the best decisions in my life, dependable, friendly, and ultimate service. 4k cameras, direct connections to emergency services. I feel really safe having VIVINT in control of my security service. I'd recommend VIVINT over any other security services provider. To think that I used the these other services, seeing VIVINT quality shows you the real difference, not to include agents are smart and a real help.

Mr ** was very polite and helpful. Explained everything before he left. Installing took longer than I thought it would. But he was always working. He hardly took a break. I guess it was a hard installation. Still took the time to go over the programming

Tyler was very friendly and nice to talk to, he knows his job well. We’ve lived in this house for 16 years, never considered an alarm system before, I'm retired now, so I’m home a lot more. I was skeptical at first because we do rent, but we’re going to try it and see how it goes.

He even texted day of to see if he could come earlier than my scheduled time. He was very helpful and explained things clearly. The customer service is GREAT so far and we are loving our new cameras! The only reason why I rated four stars instead of five is because I wanted to include the widget feature which is still on beta testing.

So far so good, the sales representative and technician were friendly. Some of my window monitors had to be changed out because they weren't compatible so I had to purchase new ones but other that it has been a good experience.

Our install team was super helpful and so was customer service! We had a very responsive team that walked us through every step. We feel safe in our home now! We are happy with the equipment and the service. The call system is very Inter graded and the equipment is easy to use. We also love the app! We would recommend to anyone!

The process was easy and both the sales person and installation technician were knowledgeable, professional, and helpful despite my husband's game of 500 questions. I am going to try and convince my dad to have Vivint installed at his home.

Several issues with installation. Plug for control pad not installed properly. Cover plate for outlet not screwed back in place. Simply placed over outlet and plug was plugged in. Guess the tech thought the plug would hold it in place but it slipped out and fell to the floor. Did not have doorbell camera. Salesman did not inform me that they were on back order and tech did not know when another shipment would be in. Could not install smart garage control because the app was down. Only one motion detector installed. Should have been 2. Plastic cover on the one installed is out of place.

Installer was knowledgeable and answered all questions. Patiently went over operation of system several times with clarity. Installation went smoothly and installer was efficient. Explained system use step by step. Existing system was upgraded and any glitches were rectified to the satisfaction of the customer.

Was skeptical at first, but the salesman and installer were great. Able to answer all of our questions and got us a price we were happy with. Installed same day in a few hours and we were fully explained how to use the product. Thanks.

I got great service from Shawn. He was very knowledgeable about the product and buyback process. He made the experience better with follow up that fit my schedule and available time. Installers were fast and efficient. Only way to make it better would be to make it free.

He deserves any kind of promotion/raise that’s possible. The options/cost were another factor but Tarek is the main factor of why we are now using your products.

The installer was hurried, did not show me much until I asked. Also almost drilled a hole in our brand new back door before I stopped him. He rushed through his survey asking me to answer all yeses even though I had not seen most of what I was to see.

This was a good time getting Vivint and I would recommend this to anyone who would like feel safe in their own home. With Vivint you have the opportunity to actually try it out before you actually make the purchase.

This is one of if not the best security system that I’ve ever had in my home and that means a lot to me and I’m an ex police officer. With this being installed in the house I actually have slept better over the night and felt more secure when I’m not home and my family is in the house and the house is armed and the fact that I can still see the cameras from wherever I’m at. One of the plus things is being able to open the door when I’m not there for my kids now and if they’re grown and moved out they don’t need a key to my house lol.

Communication was very poor in all aspects from the very beginning of my initial contact with Vivint. After over 30 days to try and get it correct, the technician for install showed up. That technician was very polite verbally and also very apologetic for the length of time it took for the install. At approximately 10:45 pm I was ready to stop the entire thing and finally it was complete.

Everything went very well as far as was told was going to happen. Adam the tech. was very well prepared and did a very good job installing the equipment. Our home was equipped with Vivint sensors when we bought the house in August so that was a plus for the tech.

The sales rep Chandler ** was very thorough and explained everything with much knowledge about the equipment and service provided. He provided other options to fit my budget and worked very well under pressure when I asked many different questions. The tech that installed my equipment also worked very efficient and also walked me through on how to utilize the services and equipment. I was very pleased with their service.

From beginning to end, from sales to install the overall experience was 5 stars for me. Professional and courteous from the sales rep. The installer kept it clean and ideal for locations of cameras and other equipment. Installer also made sure equipment worked properly and provided tutorial of how to operate equipment making it simple and user-friendly.

I had this system before and loved it, but have been hesitant with getting another one due to renting. Travis was amazing, very detailed and thorough with the information about the system. I would rate five stars however I did end up having to pay a 56 installment with the tech which I felt was slight miscommunication considering it was free installation.

We actually had Vivint not show up for the first scheduled install, which they communicated was a fluke and gave us a discount as a result. But Vivint definitely earned their 5 stars with the installer they sent the second time around, the quality of their equipment, and how painless everything was to set up including on the app.

I just had the system installed so I cannot say much. Sales person and installers were great. Sales (Chuck) went through everything and got installers to the house quickly. Installers, Dalton & Austin were professional and very fast. So far, so good!

Has to come back with updated equipment. But was very friendly. He took his time to make sure I understood everything. He seemed to be knowledgeable about what he was doing. I think the best part was when he was showing me how it also works through my phone. No more digging for your keys. Well I hope to never have to use the system but it is here for our whole family should we have to. Plus it puts the price up on my home. People love to see security systems. And the bad guys don't.

Super disappointed. We signed up with Vivint home security company three months ago. The camera pictures are good and the app works well, however One camera stopped working completely. I called the company and was told that the bridge malfunctioned and a new one would be sent right away. I called three days later when I hadn’t received it because I assumed it would have been expedited.

Bill from Gainesville fixed and activated my Vivint security system with lot of care. He made sure that everything works fine a.nd went behind his duty. Spent almost 2 hours at my house to check all the system. I would recommend his services.

I am not thrilled with how the install was done. I was not expecting a wire to be run through the window sill and a plug, with blue lights flashing, in the bedroom for one of the outdoor cameras. Does not look very professional in my new home.

The dealer was good at explaining sometimes a little overbearing but he did a good job and listened to what we wanted! The install went very well and we are very pleased with how it turned out. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Updated on 06/01/2022: It has been nearly 3 weeks and STILL no resolution. This company does nothing but LIE! I've spoken with over 6 Managers, not only did they lie and say the refund had been sent overnight, I received an email stating the refund would be sent within 24 hours and still no refund! I called back last Friday and spoke with a Manager name Chris with a badge number (if that wasn't a lie) 9012960 who stated since I had not received the overnight check, he would put the refund directly into my bank account and I would have it within 24 hours. It's 5 days later and again..no refund.

Have had ADT for years but recent service issues made me consider changing. If Vivint can overcome service issues, then I will be happy. Your equipment cost is high so I hope service compensates that. Further, was told it would be a 'soft' credit check and it was not; has already appeared on Credit Report. That needs to be a truthful statement. Service tech, Jalin **, worked over 5 hours straight answering questions as he went. Kudos to him.

Matt, our sales rep was both knowledgeable and respectful of our time and concerns. Once we made our decision, the installation was done on the same day and with professional care. We are pleased with our system and service before and after the sale.
