After a few years of alarm service with Vivint, I figured that their low quality home alarm security system was due to dated equipment. Bad choice by me to spend a number of thousand to upgrade the cameras. Now the system is even worse. Do yourself a favor. Don’t do it. Vivint home security did not work for us and I’m trying to get a refund right now.

Very pleased with the installation of our new security equipment. Technician was professional and very clear on the installation processes and worked with us to get acclimated with the new system. System was easy to navigate, and we now feel secure when away or at home. Cameras provide clarity and the camera voice capabilities works fantastic.

Sebastian was our salesman and amazing!! So friendly and not at all pushy. He listened to everything we were looking for and built the package to suit with an affordable price! The installer, Nick was equally amazing! Was quick to install (same day). Showed us the ropes and cleaned up after himself!

Decided to change from ADT to Vivint for home security due to what I've seen through family members that use Vivint. I had a window of 4-8p. The installer came around 7 and finished around 9. Miller was very professional and really knew what he was doing. The Vivint app and panel interface just seems much smoother than ADT. So far I'm happy with my choice.

Abby came around after a long day at work, but was very respectful and understanding of our time. She explained everything thoroughly and took care of everything! We are happy with our system and the perks that come with it! Our old security system was based off WIFI and didn’t record longer than a few seconds, so if we had an issue, it would not give us enough information. Vivint’s cameras are more clear, have a further range, and record for longer!

Everything was handled with knowledge, expertise and extreme courtesy. Ivan was extremely helpful selling the product, and Breaden had it installed in no time. Breaden even gave a follow-up call that night to make sure everything was understood and working correctly! A+++++++. I would and will definitely recommend Vivint to my neighbors and friends. Really nice upgraded equipment and the phone app works seamlessly.

Called to activate an already installed system on my new place. Process was fast. Technician called me at our scheduled time. Activation process was easy. The instructions were clear. We did have a slight issue with the master code but that was resolved quickly. After a few software updates, everything is working great. 10/10 Would definitely recommend.

My experience with setting up the account over the telephone was good. The service agent was informative and helpful. After setting up the account, an appointment was made for the activation of my panel. I was contacted accordingly and the setup was easy.

Was great. The worker who installed the system was great and very respectful. Did his job really fast and just overall great. I will recommend you guys to anybody who is looking for a good camera system. Thank you. Great quality as well and thank you for keeping my home safe.

I was using another service which I was quite happy with, but was not getting everything I needed to secure me and my family. Those missing things were provided by Vivint. I was thoroughly provided with all options available to me, and the set up was done the same day. Each representative that I encountered was professional, thorough, and very helpful in answering all of my questions. I felt at ease, and now my family feels fully secure.

I think it's great and am very happy to recommend to friends and strangers about how impressive your system is to me. I'm planning to make a Facebook post. Dang and Antonio were very informative and made me feel very comfortable about my new home security service. We feel blessed to be protected by your company.

Geoffrey was a great technician. His communication between myself and my partner was great and he made sure we had everything we needed! He was prompt and on time for his service and he contacted to me days prior to make sure the address he was coming to was correct and even gave me a more exact time frame of when he would be coming so I wouldn’t be waiting all day.

Both the salesman and the tech that installed our services were wonderful. They took their time to explain everything to me. I am looking forward to using the product and seeing how much it impacts my life in a positive way.

Eric, my tech, was very thorough as well as attentive when things appeared to go awry. I'd give him two thumbs up! He was prompt and courteous as he made certain to put back on his plastic booties when he had to go back to the vehicle. He was very personable.

Salesman and installers were great. Professional, quick, respectful, and knowledgeable of where equipment goes. They work with you and if they know it won’t work, they’ll tell you and suggest other areas. They made this experience easier than I thought. Salesman and installers all in one day. Very happy with everything and meeting those 3 guys.

I just want to leave a review regarding install of my system all went well with the installation however my garage door is not opening now because of the transformer. The technician not the installer was very rude telling me that it was not their system when it was and now it won't open or closed at all. The salesperson said he would send someone out but and we'll see what happens but already there's been two many issues since I got the system not even 48 hours ago and I think I just wanted taken out. Especially if if they don't do anything to make my garage door functional as it was before they came to install the system. My salesperson was a Afon. Very nice person to say the least.

The tech Steve ** was very polite and professional. He did an accurate and professional installation, as well as being on time and completing the installation in a timely manner. He arrived on time and was neat and clean. He also disposed All the trash from the installation. I will recommend future referrals to the company

Alex, (salesperson) was very knowledgeable and explained everything where I could understand. I like the visuals comparing Vivint cameras vs the others. Jack, (installer) did a fantastic job. The installation didn't take long. He also answered any questions I had to my satisfaction. He showed me how to use the panel and didn't leave until I was satisfied with camera positioning.

Parker and his team was very professional. All the equipment is in perfect condition. I don't usually answer my door but I did, Parker had such an honest face I allowed him to come in and tell us about Vivint. My husband has been wanting a door bell camera and we wanted our cars cameras as well. Now we have both.

I was very pleased with the sales professional. Informative and helpful. Would recommend to my friends and family. I learned a lot about the security system that l have. Matt was a pleasure to be around. The other technician was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. I had ADT and wasn't pleased at all.

Great honest customer service. The technician was helpful and amazing at his job. Knows what he is doing and guides you properly through the system and gives good advice on what systems he recommends. The system is simple and easy to use. Would recommend to anyone interested in a home security system.

My exchange with the Associate, Kareem, was more than pleasant, it was super beneficial. His command of the products benefits were a definite plus in our exchange. I was completely impressed with what was being offered compared to what I already processed. Very thankful he knocked on my door. Installer, Gio, was equally as professional and efficient. Both the sales rep and the installation tech were professional and friendly. We all spoke with each other as if we’d been friends for years. Great team to work with. Sales rep explained everything in detail from how the system works, to how each piece of equipment work together. And the installation tech made sure to install everything perfectly as if it were in his own home. Also cleaned up every little mess made from the install process.

Mike took his time and explain everything to me. The only thing I hate is that my driveway camera not centered. Everything was explain in great detail. They even help me with the referral. I was concern with the wires on the outside of my home. No wire issues.

I’ve been pleased from the initial introduction from your sales rep, install rep and the system really puts my mind at ease. The video quality really puts my Arlo’s to shame. The control panel is awesome and the app really easy to use. I’d definitely recommend this system to anyone looking to step their home security game up.

First time trying Vivint, this system has a lot of features, and I was quite nervous trying it and making mistakes, that was all put to ease by their professional installer Nathaniel, who was very helpful in every aspect of his suggestions, installations ideas and very helpful when helping program the system, I would recommend vivint to anyone, this will put an ease to all your protection needs.

Mr. Deandre was very courteous and patient with me. I had a lot of questions and he addressed all my concerns and made he didn’t leave until I was comfortable with the software. Greg ** was the person who installed our equipment. He was great in showing us all and explaining the use of it all. He was extremely professional and courteous. Would recommend him for any job in coming in home to do a job. I am considering using this company for my other home. I love being able to see and speak on my cell being away from home.

My set up was very simple. It was as quick and the technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me figure out how to arm and disarm the system. He educated me on the proper settings to use when my dogs are home versus when we are all not at home. I feel very safe with my Vivint equipment in place.

Had someone at my door on 8/14. At 3:18 unable to see video clip. Not happy with service. Contacted support and they were unable to give me an answer as to why this occurred. The video is giving me an error and now I am scared and unsure as to keep the services as it hasn't even been a week and having an issue already.

Vivint has great security packages and I highly recommend! Our tech Alex did a fantastic job with setting up our system. He was patient and super helpful. Love the system so far and kids and I definitely feel secure! Appreciate all Alex and Vivint offer to help us feel safe in our new area!

I'm severely disappointed with Vivint, and probably will not recommended at this point in time. Everything was great when Noah ** originally sold me on Vivint, I signed solar with another company and told him about it. He sent Aaron over after I agreed, everything was great. We discussed packages, I took pics on now broken phone. He said the camera with the lights, and car alarm SPECIFICALLY. That is why I CANCELLED with Encor and went with Vivint... the package is wrong and no one is helping. Brandon the tech, BROKE MY KEY RING. I NEED THIS FIXED OR I'M CANCELLING MY $29,000 25 YEAR contract with Vivint. Aaron is no longer answering. This is ridiculous, I've been on hold with Vivint for 30 straight minutes.

Thomas was great at explaining exactly what type of service I was getting. He had a friendly demeanor and I felt like I wasn’t pressured into singing up. Geno did a great job with the installation and walking us through how everything was set up. I truly would recommend them to anyone who needs a security service.

The sales representative didn't tell me about promotions. The tech did ask me where to place the inside cameras. Left boxes and drywall debris everywhere he had to drill. Two cameras have came offline and I haven't even had the system 24hrs. If it wasn't for my wife I would have this taken out of my home.

Installation was easy, the gentleman carried conversations with my husband and I. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend him, he’s not from Colorado. Hope he had a safe travel back home. He made sure we didn’t have any questions when he left. My mother next door got an installation too, he went over and helped the other tech. Thank you for your service!!!

Install was thorough and fast. Everything was done professionally and expertly. Sales person was not pushy. I hope the service continues. A little more than I wanted to spend, but the extras and services should make up for that. My existing sensors worked with the system saving money and time on install. The new smart thermostats will hopefully do as stated and save some money on the energy bill.

My husband and I were amazed by Donte. He was pleasant the entire time he was here. If all of Vivint’s employees are as thorough, and willing to explain everything as he was, then I have no doubt that getting Vivint is an awesome experience for anyone who has Vivint security system installed. Everything about this process was seamless and efficient. My technician came by referral and did not disappoint. He was knowledgeable and thorough, and made sure I understood everything from pricing to billing to operating my new system. I'm not sure if his process was standard for Vivint, but I definitely feel as if he went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. A much better experience compared to my previous provider, ADT.

Vivint sales rep came my house made a lot of promises. We found out later the installation that suppose to be free is roll back to price. We didn't know we had to be a credit check until it hit may phone as a credit check. He said that Vivint only need your last 4 digit of social security number to make sure it's you. He also had no idea of how long the installation takes it over 4 hrs.

It was a great installation. I even added something after all the papers had been signed. He explained the paperwork thoroughly and all of the systems. Jon was awesome! They entire process was "enjoyable" to the extent that it can be from a door sales experience. Ryan was kind and put up with our million questions, and our tech set up everything in a timely manner, and was sociable. He did not mind me watching him the whole time, even conversing with me the whole time.

My tech was wonderful! He is a very calm young man. His knowledge of the devices was clearly explained, and I felt comfortable with the whole set-up. Yes, I would recommend it! My service tech was very knowledgeable and did a great job on installation and explaining everything. Called to make sure it was ok to arrive earlier than the appointed time. Zach was superb with his attention to detail, knowledge of the different products and patience with us through the entire process. We have window and door sensors, motion and glass breakage detectors, and cameras. He also taught us how to take advantage of the app to arm and disarm the house from another location. Give this guy a raise!!

I was a previous ADT customer for over 10 years. ADT customer service has deteriorated significantly and I was ready for a change. Vivint is more expensive but I was hoping the equipment would at least be state of the art like they promised. It wasn’t, it’s the same crap I had with Ring. I actually wish I would have just kept the Ring cameras and found someone cheap to monitor my home.

I was quoted a price by the salesperson and they took twice the price of the product out of my account. I’m now waiting for someone to answer my call and return my money. I made sure that I was only being charged what was quoted because I didn’t have money to lose and be charged over.

The employees of Vivint were very informative and explained the products very successfully. The salesperson explained the products that I might be interested and would like to purchase. The tech crew were very effective and finished their work in about an hour. After completing the installation they walked me through the house and explained all the new equipment.

My sales representative was very well diverse and personal with his sales for Vivint. He explained everything & financial options. I explain I was looking system in my home with excellent monitoring & control of my heat, lock control, fire alarm & unlocking the door in case of a fire. The install was a bit lengthy but the tech Installing the equipment was great, and so was the sales rep. The only issue I have is the app stopped working as soon as the installer left and I can't log in from my phone. The equipment is top notch and I love the lights in addition to the camera. I am able to see everything in the front and back of my house. No more blind spots.

Honestly, best system I've gotten! Quality is spot on. High definition! I Would recommend to anyone! I’ve gotten this system because someone tried to break into our home..and also they been stealing Kias lately and our whole family has kias so it’s been a good system so far! The panel is easy to use, you can also view each camera that is on and recording on the screen.

My technician took time to explain that the new module was taking over my system to placing the new camera up. But didn’t say he was not taking down the existing system that I had up. So I will have to take this system down or hire someone to take it down. Other than that, my tech did a great job.

Good tech (Francisco) made it easy to understand during a hectic day with construction and electricians working in the midst of him explaining Vivint to myself and my wife. He demonstrated the processes in a patient and professional way. I will practice and if I have problems the tech left his card so that we could call him personally if any problems arise. I am confident that Vivint will do the job of keeping us secure and safe (fire and carbon monoxide detector included).

I previously had Brinks and hated it. The person detection would only trigger about 30 seconds of video and it took forever to notify you. After talking with Brendan my salesman, I knew I wanted to switch security systems. Mike the installer was able to squeeze me in that day. He did an outstanding job installing my system and walked me through the whole process on using it. Everything looks great and I feel like I was really taken care of. I would absolutely recommend this security system to anyone and if you’re in the Colorado Springs area ask from Brendan and Mike!

We had a Very knowledgeable and patient installer answering all our questions and concerns. Morton was personable, polite and efficient with the installation. We like the app, cameras and ease of use. Also the customization of the system. The camera quality compared to our existing system is far superior. We will be recommending the company and him. Vivint works for me. The ease of using the App or Hub and having full control of my system are the benefits. I had Vivint in a previous home and a different company in my new home. I have missed Vivint since moving in. Once you have Vivint-you need it again. I have it back and couldn’t be happier.

Love the features so far. Love the weather and time too. Wish the wall mount was a little more sturdy. My toddler already knocked the hub off the wall. Amazing sales team. Best installation. Great guys to work with. The doorbell has an amazing range. Clear audio. Love it. Can't wait to check out more cameras in the future.

So far I satisfied with Vivint, however not all components are installed yet. I will be happy when everything is in place. Salesman was thorough and technician was very good. Honest and really knew what he was doing. I look forward to using the complete system soon. I am a little concerned about how all the components will work together.

Forte was awesome, came and installed the system flawlessly. He also took his time and explained all the features of the system and repeatedly asked if we had any questions. He was awesome. He showed me how to download the app and went through it line by line. It was late but he never once complained or hinted that he was tired. He's an asset to your organization.

The salesperson was able to answer all questions. That was the simplest part. The installers were efficient and effective, but they left trash and a mess in their hurry to move on to the next job. The product is excellent. The system seems user-oriented. The verbal promise of no charge for devices in exchange for advertising as a model home seems to be problematic.

The technicians were fabulous! I've had this system before and loved it so I know I'm going to live it again as well!! I also have already told friends, family and neighbors all about it and I'm encouraging all that I talk to to get this system and be safe!! We are all better off with this system these days you never know who is out running these streets. Drugs are bad in this area so it's better to be safe than sorry! After all our house has been set on fire before so we know it can mean life or death!

I'm extremely impressed with my new security system. Tim the technician was very informative and made sure I knew how to operate everything, answered all of my questions and was extremely polite. Tim made it a point to introduce himself to everyone in my household and even gave my cat a pet. Again very impressed.

Do not go with VIVINT!!!! Worst company ever!!!! Two words: MONEY PIT!!!! We were with them for almost 10 years and had to cancel because we were moving and the new owners put our equipment in the contract....so mind you the new owners set up an account with vivint!!! So whenever I called, I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone there. You are transferred several times just to get ahold of the right person. One person said it'd be $500 to cancel, the next said $250, the next said they would waive it, then they started charging me for our old monthly charges. It's a money pit!!!! Then they expect you to know the name of every single person you talked to. What a joke of a company!!! Do yourself a favor and run! Do not go with this company. I how the $205 cancelation fee was worth it for this bad review!

John, the service tech, was very thoughtful, respectful, and informative. He explained everything very thoroughly, went through the entire panel and system, and I was satisfied upon his leaving. I would definitely recommend to a friend based solely on the sales and installation process thus far. Comprehensive overview of the entire process was performed by the installation technician.

Amazing system. Process was very fast and straightforward. Same day installation after speaking with the sales representative. 6 hours from talking to the representative till the technician left. Cameras and the rest of the system works great and how I imagined. The night vision works very well in low light and the cameras have a great field of view. I would highly recommend Vivint to others.

The entire experience was great! Tank was respectful, answered all my questions and was super personable/friendly. He placed all of my old equipment nicely into its assigned boxes and even asked if he needed to take off shoes before entering. Additionally, he was great at suggesting a great spot for all of my equipment. 10/10 experience.

Our installer Lawrence was really respectful and very knowledgeable about his work. He spoke with us at length on everything. Any questions we had he answered. The installation took a long time because of the impending weather, but it happens. I would recommend this young man on any job Vivint has to offer. He knows his craft, he's totally respectful and Vivint should be proud to have him in their employment.

From the seller to installer the service was great...Love the equipment and knowledge of the technician. The seller was very polite and the service technician reinforced all the information the seller went over. Signing in to sign the documents was a snap. I also liked the fact that the seller went over his review right on the spot.

We were not told how much the "separate equipment charge" would be, just the installation fee and that we would be billed separately for the two charges. Turns out it's 4 grand! The technician tried twice to install something near the house's hallway smoke detector on a popcorn ceiling. It didn't stick and fell twice, breaking the second time it fell. When I scheduled a tech to come back and fix it, I waited the whole day and she no-showed, even up to midnight. They also could not get a device for the garage door opener to work. But I'll bet I'm paying for those two pieces of equipment! Additionally, they said they'd buy out any remaining contract from our previous provider, but we just received a bill for $695! No, I'm not real happy with the whole experience at all.

The customer service and the sales and installer was great and well known as far as the equipment. The service was great all around. The tech left me with the knowledge I needed to operate and function the system. All around I rate each and everyone that I had contact with a five star. In the team play.

Travis called and followed up with me. Gave me his contact info. When I was ready for my install. No pressure techniques and overall great service provided. Explained everything upfront and allowed us to make our decisions throughout the whole process. We will definitely recommend him to anyone needing his services. Thank you Travis!

Tech was very informative and helped throughout every step of installation and application. He cleaned up after himself and made sure to keep me in the loop of everything that was happening. I was very satisfied with care that he helped me with. He explained to me step by step how it worked and how I could access camera with the application.

Representative was very professional and courteous. Each representative took time to explain all components of the system to ensure that I had a good understanding of how the system worked. I would gladly encourage my friends to try Vivint if they don’t already have this Vivint system for their home support.

All was good as far as setup but installer didn’t have signs to put up. This is very important to far our business to ensure customers know that they are not only being recorded via of video but also being recorded with sound. This is important because they will see the signs in the door or windows before they come into the store.

I would definitely recommend. Everyone who I dealt with was very professional and helpful. Sergio was our technician answered all our questions and concerns and the salesperson Justin was incredible with a wealth information and very pleasant to work with. What a great team you have to represent the company.

The installation was very smooth, Jorge, the tech, explain the process, show me the system options. Help me to set up the mobile app plus to add users. I have the option to add/change my equipment options. The only thing I have negative to say is that the sales rep said that the cameras were solar but that is not truth.

The technician was respectful and polite, easy to work with and was extremely fast and efficient at his job! If I could give 10 stars I would! I was shock at how quick he got the job done! Everything is working great and I couldn't be happier! In addition, the salesman Sasha was respectful as well. All around I would definitely recommend Vivint to other, the service and quality of the product is outstanding, it's only been a day but I definitely feel secure!

With Brinks every time one of the outside doors where opened I would get a loud beep. Not anymore. Just two doors make a noise and it just says door open and not very loud so someone could come and go without anyone knowing. Not good for hard of hearing.

Sales person came around and was very persistent. I kept trying to say no but they kept going. My wife has been wanting a security system so we eventually gave in. They had an install guy here within 15 mins. Everyone was very friendly and nice. Only thing I didn’t like was we didn’t know the grand total of the equipment until after it was installed. I knew the payments just not the whole total.

Tech guy was very good!, knew what he was doing. He did it in a timely manner. And it was done quick, and under 3 hours or so. He broke down to me about what everything was and described it all to me step by step, and guided me through the steps to complete the connections until it was all done and finished.

The window sensors were installed on the wrong windows (those windows don’t even open). The old batteries from the old lock went missing, the smart thermostat didn’t get installed, called the tech and told me the thermostat wasn’t compatible with my AC. The tech said he put the batteries inside the box with the other parts but they weren’t there, looked all over the house and couldn’t find them.

Professional, quick install. No pressure to buy. Thoroughly explained product and options. Equipment appears to high quality. I'm most impressed with the clarity of the video feed and still picture. Very easy to use. The sales rep. Checked up on the install right after installation. Many people in the neighborhood have gone Vivint as we have had an increases in crime in the area. We were all looking to upgrade our security systems. Vivint was recommended by others in the neighborhood through social media.

After researching different security companies, I decided to move forward with Vivint. I am happy I did. From the sale agent, Levi, to my technician, Ron, both were superb within their respective roles. There was a lot to do for the installation, and Ron was great, treating my home with care and going over everything with me. I am so thrilled about my security system!

These guys were very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. My husband and I were really impressed. As soon as we were approved, the tech was walking up to install. We were told we could possibly have to wait a couple of hours to accommodate the tech's schedule, but he was there instantly.. It was seamless. Everyone was amazing and sweet to our children and dog.

Recently purchased house with Vivint systems already installed. Accidentally armed the system. Need PIN to deactivate. Unable to get PIN from previous owners. Called Vivint to disarm. Rep states that I would need to register and activate under my name to do so. I think it’s a bit strange that he wasn’t able to reset the system but I was planning on getting a security system anyways, was just going to do a little research beforehand. Change of plans, I guess we’re just going with Vivint. Just started today so we will see how everything goes. The rep was a good guy, real friendly.

Correy was awesome and made the installation super quick and explained how to use everything very clearly! Would love to have him and recommend service to anyone if he was the one doing it. Feel very confident we will be safe in our new home and enjoy all of the features provided to us through the company.

Everything went well with installation and with the system that was installed. My biggest concern was that my "Yale" front door electrical lock and "Honeywell" temperature panel are not compatible with the Vivint system as I understood them to be. I also thought I was getting a glass break alarm with my installation and was left wondering about several other expectations that I had with my order, especially with garage. Of course, I can add everything that I would like to have later but it will take additional purchases and installation to have everything desired. The old ADT service equipment that Vivint replaced may have had more equipment involved throughout the home but the Vivint equipment that was installed was a big upgrade compared to the equivalent ADT equipment. I'll know more as I use the equipment in the weeks ahead.

Got my Vivint security system today. I would like to thank Alex my installation technician. He was awesome in getting everything setup, very professional two thumbs up. I would definitely recommend him and Vivint to my friends and family.. Additionally the ease of using the app to monitor everything is priceless.

I had no plans to change my existing alarm system/company, but the Vivint options quickly changed my mind. The sales rep, Joel, was friendly and informative. The installation tech, Tam, was efficient and helpful. So far, I am pleased with the functionality and coverage of my new system. Still need to follow up on a few details, but what we have is working well.

To whom it may concern, I am a new client of yours in the triangle area. Today I’ve had the worst experience with customer service and their continuous lies and attempts to defraud the customer. I was wanting a simple install completed in a timely and professional manner. The technician completed his job to the best of his ability while remaining professional and courteous, while having to deal with customer service and their run around games. I was originally quoted a price at 8:30 AM. The price changed multiple times throughout the course of the day with it almost doubling at the end. This is not because of an increase in equipment. If anything we had a decrease in equipment.

Seth was kind and helpful. Very thorough in making sure it was set up correctly and with teaching us about the features and products. We are not disappointed at all with our new security system. We are very happy overall and would recommend to anyone who is thinking about getting Vivint.

I was impressed with the respectful and professional approach of Enjie **, the sales representative. We discovered we have a lot in common. I lived in Arlington, TX and he lived in Dallas, TX. He is very knowledgeable about the security system. He explained its importance and its advantages. He detailed the prices of the product and the methodology of payment. He made the interview a pleasant experience.

I got the most simple package just the doorbell, sensors for the front and back doors and the screen, that was all the security I needed right now. I plan to upgrade hopefully within the next 6 months to a year. I just wish there was a way to disarm the alarm for a small window of time and once that time passes it automatically alarms itself, maybe there is a way and I just haven't figured it out yet.
