Tim was very prompt, very effective communicator and very respectful of me and my home. He was friendly and helpful. It took us a while to find the wiring box but he never gave up and went in the tightest farthest spot to do the necessary work. I’ve used Vivint for years at multiple houses and have been very pleased with them. Thank you Tim.

I am very pleased with the work Pablo did to our Vivint system. He was very patient and got everything working and running. I can be a little annoying with all the questioning but he was a professional and answered all of my questions and even told me to save his number in case I needed anything. A+ to him.

Sales guy was wonderful. Only thing is he scheduled our installation extremely late forcing us to stay up till 3 am. There was no discussion on when would be a good time to install. The installation guys were amazing and tried to be very polite despite it being 1 am in the morning. Overall the experience was great and we are happy with the results but a little more planning and notice would be appreciated.

Our sales rep explained all the options and cost for new service. Also let us review several videos of products and services they provide. The techs were available to install cameras and security pad on the same date. The images are clear and techs installed and explained our system completely.

I had an awesome salesperson by the name of Gerald **. I live in Oak Grove Kentucky and Gerald was in the area with his technicians setting up service in the neighborhood. Gerald came by and presented a package that was by far the best deal I've ever seen! Gerald is an amazing salesperson with attention to detail and answered every single question I had regarding the product and or service! I would thoroughly recommend Vivint to everyone I meet! I'm looking forward to sending referrals in the future and could definitely show my friends my system and brag about it!! I can't believe all the products and services I received and I'm very satisfied with it. Thank you Vivint for doing an amazing job and providing such an excellent service!!! I was so excited to begin my contract with Vivint, new devices, updated system, and to top it off the price I was quoted was great. What a horrible experience from trying to get a tech to come out and install it since day one. There was no accuracy on arrival time, no window given, no timeline of job completion. When a tech finally arrived it was 10pm and they expected the installation to happen then and there, not going to happen. Told them to come back Friday on my day off. Sales rep was trying to get his commission in and asked me to do him a solid and get it installed before the end of the month so I did just that.
The next day a new tech guy showed, he was so inexperience that he was on the phone the whole 5 hour installation asking his supervisor "how to" on everything he was installing. And what do you know? The job still wasn't done in those 5 hours. Didn't depart my home until 12:30am. Yes the next day. So we scheduled the next day again and this time set a window of 4 to 6...He shows up at 730pm. This time his supervisor comes because they are going to use my home to train the new guy. They told me this would take only 30 min to an hour because all they needed was to sync the sensors. Nope I got the worst luck. 4 hours later he was gone. But guess what??..The job is still not done. My window sensors are telling something is open but it is closed, my dead bolt lock doesn't work. I can manually lock it but not through panel or phone.
So now I have to call in a tech to come and look at my home once again. I'm am so hesitant because I am worried this will be another long night call. Never had I ever experienced anything of the mentioned above from anyone even my old security company. One last thing, is the quote that was given to when I initially was sold on product. When official contract came out to sign the numbers didn't match up. The contract had more of a total than promised. I hope something can be done about this. I am still moving forward with Vivint but I would like to speak to someone. This is so unexpected. Very disappointing.

My experience with sales by Mr. ** to the installation team has been outstanding. Very thorough in explaining all my options and curtailed it to my financial budget. Excellent customer service. I would score them a 10 out of 10. The resolution on all the cameras are excellent and then app is user friendly. My whole family has the app and love how simple all the features are to use. Vivint is really a high quality alarm system.

Great people! We've had Vivint for a few years now and we truly love it! Being a family with teenagers, surveillance cameras are a must! Every time Vivint has had to come out they are always very pleasant and respectful. I do feel as they are kind of pricey.

Our whole experience with Vivint has been amazing thus far!! John came to the door and was very polite and straight to the point. Came in and explained everything quickly but thoroughly. We told him what we wanted and he wrote everything up. He showed us all the specific details that’s were turning points for us. Salesperson and technician were very courteous and knowledgeable. The installation process happened quickly and I find the system easy to use. It has been less than 24 hours but I like what I see so far. The only drawback was that you all don’t carry the battery operated Nest thermostat so I was unable to get that installed. I don’t like that the coaster service everything is left up to the customer to do. And everyone may not know how to use the function. Of the computer why can’t the company make it easy for the customer. I don’t like that part of this. When one needs help. What can’t they get it. And then I need help with completing the process. Information about the buyout was not totally honest about the gift card.

I want a full refund and my old system reinstalled. I was told the cameras will record continuously and can play back, That feature does not work. I was told the cameras can pick up license plates and record in 4k. That feature does not work. The cameras constantly tell me there is a person in my backyard when it is just my dogs, tech came to fix it, that also did not work. I have had a tech here twice. They have installed a mesh router and it did not help.
I was also told they will reinstall my old system now they are saying they won’t. So now I will have holes in my wall from your system and my new system no longer working. Please inform me of my quickest option to remove myself from your service. I will also be looking into the Better Business Bureau regarding reimbursement for the reinstallation of my old system through you guys.

Door salesman was good in the beginning, he was knowledgeable and able to answer most of our questions. But was misleading on a couple of details. We asked if it was a soft or hard credit inquiry. He first stated soft, then afterwards it discovered that was not true and it was a hard inquiry. Then when installer came. It was not explained that it had to be a hard wired mounted system. Which I didn’t not like exposed wires. The installer went to his car and took another install job. Came back in and never said anything to myself or my wife and left.
We had to schedule a time 3 days later. And once the installer came on that day it was almost 4 hours to get job completed. Which we were under the impression it would only be a minimal amount of time. This all could of been explain in the beginning. Then the installer leaves. Leaving the gate open and unsecure, when my wife let the dogs out after he left. Two of the three escaped out of the gate he forgot to close. And I have not even logged into the account yet. So I can not rate that as of yet.

The technician knew about the product and was able to accurately walk me through the app and the different devices. However, the technician did something to the electrical circuit she attempted to use for the HUB. The circuit is now tripped and will need to have some troubleshooting to figure what exactly is causing the circuit to be tripped.

I never wanted a whole security system. Just front and back cameras and a thermostats…I don’t really know why I have all this extra stuff and have to pay all the extra money each month. I will not use the extra equipment.

The equipment was not anchored on to the wall correctly and Sensors as well as my monitor have fallen off the wall. Cables were not put in correctly. They are loose and pose a trip hazard. The hose that were made on my walls were not sealed up with silicone.

I would recommend Vivint to any family member or friend. I've had Vivint at previous home for years and received very good customer service. The new system is like a tablet and it's pretty easy to use. One advantage is that it's smart and can interact with other devices.

Hidden charges for equipment. Just gave a lump sum. Only got a 6 item package for 4,000. Ridiculous. When asked to cancel they said they couldn’t help me. Doorbell doesn’t work after one day. System keeps going offline and it’s supposed to run on its own internet, yet it slowed down the internet speeds in my home. Doesn’t let me arm it or it will crash. What’s the point of having a security system that can’t be armed? Really wanted Vivint to work, but unfortunately it was exactly as the reviews had said. Very unfortunate that I can’t cancel because it’s past their 3 day period. Wouldn’t recommend. I was better off with fake cameras and a sign.

Started out a little rough with a misspelling of my maiden name and my married name hadn't been update yet. The tech was very patient while we got that cleared up. The transformer for our door bell needs to now be replaced because the tech did something wrong. The rest of the install went fine.

Impossible to Cancel with this company. They would not provide an email, phone number, etc. for my attorney to contact them. They stated I entered a contract for five additional years so I could not cancel without an over $500 charge when I had been a loyal consumer for over 6 years without any issues.

Salesman was nice, however the installer left boxes, nails and wires all in my floor. I have pictures and saw dust from drilling holes in the walls. Not what was expected for the amount if $$$ being charged. Was rushed at the end because if the time then started forgetting what was to be done. Not good for new customer.

It's been 9 days since I paid for installation and paid first months service, and the equipment hasn't all been installed yet. I don't even have the doorbell yet and that was the main selling point. Currently waiting on a technician that said he'd be here 2 hours ago. If he doesn't show up today I'm sending everything back and cancelling. After looking at competitors it looks like I went with the most expensive company, I thought the service would be better but I'm regretting my decision already.

The quote was way off. I expected some discrepancies for unexpected issues but not $1000 off. Ordered 4 cameras and he only had 2. Was told they could use my door/window sensors from ADT, but nope. Cost me $800 to fix that. Couldn't use the big garage door sensor from ADT and did not have a Vivint one. Now I have to wait with that being unsecured until he can get back to install my other cameras. Loved the 2 cameras I do have. Getting used to the App. Love the touch screen. Just not enamored by the install and lack of communication with the installer or Vivint.

We had our install yesterday with MJ and from the beginning I could tell he knew what he was doing. I thought things would be complicated bc our plugs were in weird location but Mj did an amazing job and everything looks great, in great location, and no tacky wires or holes. Sales needs to be more informed on what can go where. And to let customer know that everything needs to be hardwired in. The installer was more informed than the salesman. Because I haven’t been able to use the system for more than 24 hours, I can only comment on the installation. Sailor was my sales rep and Taylor was the installer. Sailor could not have arrived at a more opportune time; I was contemplating a system change. Taylor arrived after and did the install. Poor guy was challenged by an abundant amount of foam insulation. With the system installed and controls handed over I was enlightened by a superior alarm system than the previous one I had. Bravo to Taylor and his persistence with the hot attic.

The man who installed our system smelled horrible like he hadn’t showered in more than month, I could smell him from a good 15 feet away, and the smell lingered after he left. Unprofessional & disrespectful. He also had to call & ask for help and sounded very incompetent. I asked the man Adrian I think his name was, how long the guy I think his name was Dillon? had been installing systems and he said a year. To me that’s a decent amount of time to know what your doing. Also the time they came to install was pretty late, they didn’t leave until after 12 at night. That is so unprofessional to me. They should have come the next day.

He was patience and took time explaining to me how to operate the security system. In case I can remember he wrote notes and drew pictures of the panel. He explained each of the buttons on the panel also the hostage code too. He walked me through green, gray and orange screen also 60 seconds countdown and 30 seconds disarm. Overall very good.

Salesman Anthony and system installer Braiden were great! I was uneasy going through the process and nervous about it, but Anthony calmly explained everything and worked with me to meet my goals. Braiden was quick, thorough, and knowledgeable. All work done was aesthetically and functionally pleasing. Both were incredibly personable. Last of all I feel I need to mention due to seeing people claiming they were forced into leaving good reviews…I was concerned about this, however Anthony did the opposite. He encouraged me to leave the review I felt applied good or bad. If it was a good experience leave good, if bad leave bad. There was no coercion and forceful tactics. This was a stellar experience with Anthony and Braiden. On the system, so far 1 day in, I’m loving it. But we shall see!

I was told the price per equipment. The man I asked why I was paying over 13000 then and he couldn’t answer me. Only could say something about a handle package: starter package that was 599. Only said it included the panel. That my sensors were free but yet still included in the 599 package. So he said later. Then was told I would get 30 trial and then told 3. Then told my trial period would last 3 days after my ring bell came in. Which no one told me it was backordered until arriving at my home.

Salesman pressured us to buy system late at night 9 pm. Had tech over for install at 11 pm and we have crying young kids. Promised free trial was a week and fine print says 3 days. Lied to us. Found out after uninstall, salesman added 4 cameras to plan and only had doorbell camera. Also tech uninstaller said this unit is used and wires stripped and would not detect alarm. Team is not honest on product. Paid more then what was equipped.

Only complaint is that the technician did not remove old equipment even when I asked him to do so. He was also a little messy and did not place trash in the correct bin. I was surprised when he installed 2 new smoke detectors.

Very poor support. My complaints fell on deaf ears when my front yard camera went out. I told them I will be out of town and will need my front yard camera working before I leave so I can monitor my house remotely. I called customer service multiple times. I was promised several dates, but nobody came or even called. It has been 3 weeks now since I first reported the issue. Still nothing. What's the purpose of a security system when your camera is not working? The system is good when it works. But customer support is basically non-existent.

Excited to use the products door camera, door locks, smoke alarm & second camera. Useful since my son & husband tend to lock themselves out every once in a while. Agent Korey was thorough with the services, demonstrated & educated. Carter installed product same day quickly within less than 1 1/2hr. For all these services, fair pricing and $20 more than our previous company but more services available. Our previous company didn’t offer camera at all.

The salesman was professional and charismatic. He wasn’t pushy and really tried working with both our budget and needs. The technician was early, fast, and efficient. She installed everything to my preference and explained how everything worked. So far at a glance everything is great. The only downside is I have a 350Mbps network speed and the addition of the equipment slowed it down quite a bit.

I live alone with my little one so I already knew I needed better precautions and security for my house. Being a single mom, working full time every time is a "bad time". I'm so busy, stretched thin and Blake was kind and went way out of his way to work around my schedule and get me going. I wouldn't have said yes without him and now I'm so happy I have the system and protective measures. I feel so much more relaxed and in control of my home! As much as you can't put a price on safety my bank account disagreed. I'm happy black took the time to get me the security I WANTED at a price that worked. You have a big problem. I am 74 years young and added a camera onto my account because I could not hear my doorbell ringer. The camera works better BUT still not very loud. You need a ring extender with a volume button to set a loud tone for us. I almost canceled my contract with you. This may not be a concern for you or expense but I guarantee it will add customers to your program when the word gets out.. Thank you for listening.

We had a problem with the first installer, he wanted to come earlier so we accommodated him by arriving home 1 hour earlier. We waited from 3-8Pm and he did not show up. I contacted the salesman the next morning and he scheduled the install the following day. Dallas was our installer and he was on time and did a excellent job! We were very impressed with his customer service and his attention to detail. We like the system, however the sales person should tell customers it takes 3 hours to install not 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Good guys all techs and salesman. Polite and knowledgeable of the products. Will recommend to at least 3 friends and relatives. Easy to use System. I feel more secure with this system. Cameras work good and clear. Audio is good.

Great customer service prior to purchase of service. Technician efficient. Actually came sooner which was great. However the total cost was $200 more than what was quoted. Did not receive a call back. Have also not received my panic pendant which should have been sent by now. It had my service installed since June 3rd. No email. No phone. Also no information on cancelation policy. Starting to regret my decision although I researched I have 30 days to cancel my service.

Very satisfactory service and well designed app...Will recommend to my friends. Installation was fairly quick and the system can integrate well with what I already got. The device is very configurable and intuitive. Overall it's has been a good experience so far.

I had too many technicians in my house for one. My husband had to go up and find wires that they had been looking for for an hour. If that didn’t happen service would have been excellent. So the service was great. They finally got my services installed. I don’t like the idea of putting holes in the wall when it’s really unnecessary.

Nathan was polite and knowledgeable. He had a team out to install the equipment within 30min and they were done in just over an hour! I already have Vivint at my other residence and have been happy. I expressed one of the cameras at that residence broke and he gave me the number to call for a technician to come replace it. I am very happy with the upgraded products and service!

Very respectful and professional Technician. He did his job well, trained us to use the system and had answers to our questions. Very good. We will see how this system will prove itself and consider getting it for our other home in Los Angeles.

Very professional and well mannered, very clean install and explained all aspects of cameras, install and use of equipment. On time with installers and sales person was very courteous and explained in detail the whole process of the system along with explaining how cameras were to be installed.
