I can't just set the temperature because it controls the humidity as well so it runs a lot more so I can't get comfortable. There seems to be no way to turn off the humidity settings. In short, I don't like the system at all.

The sales pitch from the salesman was thorough and well presented. After hearing my objections to price, he said you can get 30 days no hassle trial. A simple pay and refund if you don't want it. This is where things went in a different direction. When we discussed the equipment and installation the sales person said since his installers are in the area he was authorized to give the doorbell, fire and co detection, and two flood sensors for free along with installation and a 30 day trial.

The doorbell needs wires which I didn’t know because it says smart hub. Calling to speak with representative (20min wait) transferred twice. Not helpful at all. Horrible Horrible Horrible. I am still on hold to reach someone who can help. This is a very expensive service with horrible customer experience. Then when I ask to cancel I was told they are closed.

Chase the salesman was very cordial, polite, compassionate and considerate. He took the time out to converse and find out my financial hardships and a way to be able protect my family. Gave the technician just sealed the deal with his professionalism and helping me understand what I was purchasing.

It will be a good idea if your employee would have a business card, and give their whole name to the customer. Although the young man that came out to help me was a very nice guy and very helpful with the information with dealing with my new equipment. Thank you.

Let me start with Christopher, the sales rep. Very friendly and professional. I was in sales for 18 years, so I appreciate when someone treats a potential customer the way he did. You don't see younger sales with with such professionalism these days. Then I get a message so the installers can come to my house. Wait, same day installation?!! I was thinking it would be a week or so before they would come out. So this was a very good unexpected experience.

Both the sales rep and install tech that came to the house were amazing. No question was left unanswered and very personable people. I couldn't have asked for a better team. Great representation of the company and first experience with vivint.

He worked steadily, so he got a lot done in a short time. It was done neatly, carefully and courteously. He patiently answered my questions and directed me in using the thermostat, the hub, the phone connection and the app.

From the beginning of this process, every person I have spoken and interacted with has been amazing. From Casey coming and explaining everything to me, to Daniel the technician who came and installed my system. The order said I needed a nickel doorknob and he said he had a bronze one and would replace it, he explained every detail needed from the app to the panel. I'm extremely satisfied.

From beginning to the installation, I found it was a very easy, painless process. The product itself is easy to navigate and pretty straightforward. It’ll take a little getting used to, but very excited to have it in our home. I would recommend to family & friends for sure.

The man that help me was ever helpful and understand the system for me to get it early in the morning. He explain everything and ask me question about where the camera setup was going to be and showed me the area of setup and all is that’s fine where they was and I ask question and he helped me with the answers.

Seems like a good deal, but then changes happen. The seller and installer were very friendly. However, fees were attached last minute without me being able to see them before signing and I am missing equipment I was promised and paid for.

Casteus was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took his time in learning what needs I had with a security system; he never acted hurried or anxious for me to make my decision. He walked through and outside the house with me to show me where sensors and cameras would be placed. He also showed and demonstrated on his visuals how to operate the equipment. He talked with the technician who would be coming to my house to install the equipment; he told me when he would arrive and what to expect.

Just got it installed last night. All the very professional gentleman that installed it were very knowledgeable of all the equipment. I will live having my home and family protected. The representative that came to tell me am about Vivint was spectacular.

The only problem is my lights in bedroom where he hooked up device is not working. Need him to come back. Otherwise he did a terrific job even in the pouring RAIN. Tech was professional so was were the sales reps. Very professional.

I applied online with a discount offered from Vivint company website in Phoenix. I talked next day to a supervisor when my online request was not answered. He said I would be getting a discount. I gave my debit card # but could not electronically sign. New account. No discount. Please fix.

Jared was a great sales rep. He explained Vivint to us & answered all our questions & concerns. He did not pressure us. He explained all our options & the costs. The installation team were very polite & again very helpful & explained everything so well. A great crew…. Good guys!

We are very happy with the knowledge and professionalism of our tech. His install was perfect. He explained how everything worked. He cleaned up after himself. Unfortunately, my sales rep was not honest with me about what I was getting and the cost. We ended up having to spend more money to get what we needed, and what at needed was what I told her in the first place. Then when I tried to get a hold of her to ask about the issue she texted and said she was on a call and didn’t bother to call me back.

My technician was so friendly and informative of Vivint technology. He was able to answer all my questions and gave me better insight of how the devices should be set up based on his expertise which I appreciate so much. Kyle definitely deserves the recognition for all his hard work and I feel a lot safer at home knowing Vivint is there to keep me safe and secured.

Misquoted price and installer had no signage. Installer said no more than two signs would be sent and was told Vivint no longer had signs to put on the inside of windows. Now being told how many words I have to write to be heard. What a joke! Vivint should be embarrassed!

The units were installed quickly, but it’s wasn’t particularly good customer service. The system was installed and there was zero instruction on how to use the system. I have very little idea what I have or exactly how to use it. I was told my sales person would come back after it was installed and go over things and that didn’t happen. I asked the young man who installed the desktop unit for a longer cord, he put one in and it’s still too short. This is not the service I anticipated when I signed it on the dotted line. I was expecting above-average service and right now, I am not even sure what I have and what it will do. So I’ve paid this money and essentially all I know I have is fancy locks on my door and an expensive thermostat I can program from my phone. Do I feel confident that I have made a wise purchase? No. Then, on top of that, the batteries in my motion detectors need replacing in less than two weeks.

Never have I ever had a fantastic experience from start to finish when ordering something custom. The rep on the phone (Steele) was beyond great at explaining who guys are, and what services you offer that matches our needs. Amen. Justin was our technician, was very personable and professional! His customer service went above and beyond from what I know companies expect. This is the sole reason why I will have no problem telling friends and family about your company and WHY they should get services from you! Great guy and these are exactly the type of employees that you want to have representing the company! Nobody likes an employee who is grumpy and micromanages.

Our Seller Brandon and technician John were both great. Fast install and setup. The price is really affordable with all of the services we received including extra window sensors. So far so good. I would recommend to family and friends.

Our Tech was excellent. He walked the house verifying what we needed and didn’t need. He listened to changes that we needs to make and explained the keypad and app well. Very nice guy. Was very pleased with the efficiency of the agent and the punctuality given. I felt secure in the knowledge given by the agent, of the operation of the unit. Because I am a little electronically challenged because of my age, l appreciated the time given to set up my phone link.

The salesman brought in a technician very quickly. While that was impressive there was no communication about if that worked for our schedule or time. The technician stayed three hours and still did not finish at 9:00pm. We live in a home built in the 1930’s and your technician's training was too presumptuous and lacking in consideration. Things were being banged on, drilled, stapled, hung on places with historical significance or aged fragility. We would stop him and ask him to try to redirect him or have a conversation and his usual reply “this is where this should go”. His questions about preference came after he already installed a piece of hardware. There was little explanation or communication about what was happening. It felt very intrusive and disrespectful to our home.

We were impressed with Mike the installer for Vivint. He was courteous as well as knowledgeable about the product and the process. The process was timely and he explained each step. So far we would gladly recommend this company as well as Mike to all.

Fast, friendly and answered all my questions. Technician was in and out of the attic in my 2 story home in no time. Another did a really good job with telling us how everything works. Ever since we got everything installed, it’s been working pretty good with a couple of glitches other than that, I love it. We have been feeling a lot more safe. It makes it a lot easier now that I can do everything on my phone now.

Floyd came by my house in the afternoon, I was leaving to run errands. I asked Floyd if he could return later in the evening around six. Floyd was promptly on time. Floyd took the time to explain the entire system to me and answer all of my questions. Very impressed. Before I could even finish signing the paperwork Luke was at my house with his tools ready to install Vivint security system in my house complete with lights and cameras. Luke also took time to answer any questions that I had about the install and how the equipment worked. Very impressed with this young man. My overall Vivint experience was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I will be sure to recommend Vivint, Floyd and Luke to my friends and family and even strangers if they have a question about Vivint Security Systems.

Switching from Alarm Man to Vivint. The equipment was top notch and the service is extremely good. Tay did a great job with installing the equipment needed and connecting it to Alexa. Very good service! I will recommend this to all who are looking for a top notch security service.

I literally only did this to get the salesman to leave me alone so I could get back to work. I will be cancelling today. Keep harassing and preying on people's insecurities though. Great stuff. I literally told the guy I didn’t want it like 10 times and he wouldn’t leave me alone. I lost my entire afternoon at work and missed an important meeting that I mentioned multiple times to the salesman. Now that’s my fault because I wasn’t assertive enough about it, and he’s just doing his job, but I shouldn’t have to be like, look get out of my house, for them to get the hint.

I finally upgraded our security system. Andrew did a great job installing our system and was helpful in giving suggestions on where to put the panel & sensors. I already feel safer knowing we have a new system in place!

Gerard was so well prepared and helpful. I felt safe and was able to trust his expertise immediately. He was Informative and took me through everything step by step. The service was very good, price is great and the technician was very knowledgeable about the system and he walked us through it. They offered services ADT never told me about and in checking if they had the price was higher.

Installation was done same day as the consult. The installer, Ethan was very friendly and informative on the products. After installation, he walked me through all of the safety features my system had to offer. He made sure all of my questions were answered and made sure it was comfortable using the system before heading out. I'm very impressed by the quality of the product so far. The product is top notch, the installer is the absolute best. It would be the biggest shame if Vivint lost such an amazing employee who truly took care of my needs and then went ABOVE and BEYOND!! Do what you must and keep the employees that keep your business going.

From Vance knocking on our door to Phil putting the finishing touches on our cameras and installs, the service was great. Both were very straightforward, nothing was misleading. Phil was VERY thorough going through the setup process, did a great job installing (and cleaning up!) our system. He was even able to use all of the equipment from the previous owners on the doors and windows. Couldn’t be happier!

Zane ** did well installing Vivint stuff. Couldn't get myQ door opener to connect to wifi, but he worked hard on it. Software problem on video replay, in spite of numerous tries. Both problems common and company hasn't solved yet. We're happy with his work.

The company Vivint was very professional and the installers did an excellent job in the house. I got a lot more for my money. I’m very happy with the job they did. They took their time and did an excellent job.

You really can’t beat the quality of Vivint’s products. The cameras are amazing, the options are varied, and the set up is even easier than I’d hoped. Our installer was great and took the time to walk me through the system. Most importantly, he didn’t try to upsell me anything!!

I’ve had a great experience with the security system so far. It’s definitely a bit pricier than other options I’ve seen (hence the 4 stars), but I like the ability to control it with my app, and love the remote monitoring.

It allows live video, open garage from phone, speak to people at the door when we are not there, and paired with Amazon for garage delivery. I love it! My garage door is still offline even though it’s saying connected on the module. I called the technician. He said he will check it when he come back to bring the cameras but I haven’t received everything to know how it actually works.

They both were here on time, Kelton install the whole system the same day we signed the contract, which was very convenient for me. I inherited a Vivint system from previous owner. The customer service rep and technical support helped me with the transfer over couple of calls. Once the previous owner had cancelled their account, setting up my account was quick and easy.

Want cancelled and equipment removed. Said I have to pay 3000.00. I will not pay this. The camera do not work. I do not like the system at all. Please help me. The man I spoke to will not help me. I already stopped any more payment at my bank. Only have had since end of May. Was not even installed right. Big waste of money. I want taken out of my house.

The installer was sloppy with the install. Had to tell him more than once if he could rerun the wires cause they were not neat like he said they would be. Also drilled more holes than needed to check for studs. Overall not really happy with the install. Also didn’t show me how to set up the lock codes on the door either.

The technician was kind and professional. However, he did not install the security doorbell which was included in my package. I called Vivint and they don’t know why it wasn’t in the package (had nothing to do with inventory). It will take almost 2 weeks for them to come back and finish the installation.

We had Chad as a technician and he was really nice and helpful, we appreciate him. However we only got it installed 4 days ago and the camera has not been recording 24.7 like the Vivint vendor said, keeps saying person detected when no one has passed by (not even a car). We lowered the sensibility then it doesn't catch no one pass by at all.. We switched to Vivint from ADT because we were promised good service. At this point we are not happy with the service and regret switching over. We’ve already called and no one has came by to fix the problem.

Spencer is the one who introduced to us the Vivint security and safety for the house. He also explained it well and give us knowledge about Vivint. Spencer is very polite, funny and a nice guy and he's 10/10. All 4 installer men are very quick to install. They are very nice too. 10/10. My husband and I are so happy to get the Vivint.

Most importantly Sam was very polite and though he didn’t want to take no for an answer and offered a solution to anything that made me say no but he did it in a non pushy way. Being in sales and management I must say I’m truly impressed by their tactics. As soon as we came to an agreement and signed the agreement an installation crew knocked on the door and went to work. It’s truly a genius way to do it because it prevents people from saying yes just to get the salesman out then canceling before Installation after have a few days to develop buyer's remorse. I think that’s why the instant crew follows but it’s also great for the customer to have instant Gratification after purchase. We’ve only been up for a day but are very happy with it so far. The equipment is stylish and appears to be high quality as well.,

My reasoning for changing is the price I will be saving After the equipment is paid off. My bill will be lower than ADT. I'm hoping this price range stays the same as I was promised no price increase... because that's the main reason I'm leaving ADT. Every few years their price goes up. I'm On a 30 day trial but I like the way the equipment operates. Friendly to use. Vivint have a new customer.

I just got my new Vivint system installed. It has so many features the other competitors don’t have. I live in a ranch style condo and they are very picky about what you can and cannot do to the outside of your unit. We had to get a little creative when it came to the dead bolt locking feature and my back door camera. I share the front porch with my neighbor. My old door bell camera basically showed their side of the porch. Now I can see down the sidewalk and out into the parking lot. The old one also did not record and now I will have 10 days of recordings. Alex the sales person and Austin the installer we so polite and explained everything. I am very happy I switched to Vivint.

Robert arrived within the time frame allotted. He seemed to be in a hurry because I was, “the last service stop”. He was very thorough. Everything I asked to be done was accomplished. We had issues with the camera monitoring capabilities. The problem was solved. Good job Robert.

First of all it was a first class service. Every aspect from the sale to the installation was handled very professionally. Even though this is a five star review I did see a couple issues. Company issued DeWalt drills and mandated monthly monitoring fees. If you buy your equipment out right you do not have to pay for monthly monitoring. The cameras are second to none that I have seen and everything works.

The installer was incredibly professional. Even while working, when we were asking questions, he was answering them and explaining how the system works etc. At the end of the install, he went through the system with us & answered all of the scenarios that we could think of. My wife & I are very satisfied with the install and how professional & clean the gentleman was.

I just moved into a house that had the Vivint equipment installed so I called them to activate it. They were very quick to set up the appointment. When we couldn’t activate the equipment over the phone, they sent out a technician (Giancarlo) immediately that was very friendly and knowledge. I got approved for a system for over two thousand dollars and all that was installed was the wall panel alarm, they keep messing up my order and making me pay separate prices for the camera to also be installed. Now I'm getting the run around on getting the correct system I first inquired about and when I told them to cancel the service because it's not right they're telling me that I have to pay a almost $800.00 dollars to cancel, the last time the guy was out here he was installing two doorbell cameras and no indoor at all. That was the purpose of me getting Vivint for my home. I've been having problems with this company from the start. Can someone from corp, give me a call at ** to discuss this problem please, I am highly disappointed.
