Loved the technician who installed the system. Extremely personable and friendly. Signing up process I did not appreciate. They call non stop and don’t even leave a message. On their end they couldn’t track at what stage I was in. I had decided on a system and set up an install date. Three different salespeople continued called to figure out what I wanted for a system. They never checked their notes. After talking with them and have them do a soft credit check plus give them my payment information, on the day of install my expectation was the tech comes and installs the devices. I thought the payment was all set, then I had to apply for their 0% financing while we were at the house, whatever website or vendor they use to run the site didn’t work leaving me with the only option, to pay in full which I wasn’t expecting. The salesperson had said I was all set at the end of our call.

My technician was outstanding. Thorough, knowledge, and extremely friendly. He finished quickly and even scheduled a time to come back to replace our deadbolt. Our services were well explained, and we went over a few scenarios to ensure we understood how the system works. He also added an extra camera on short notice. No complaints!

5hrs went well with our tech Clark. Went very smooth. Clark was friendly and explained all the features. I very happy with the product. Feel safe and protected. Still have questions and want to add more cameras and door protection. I will get a hold of Clark if I have any further questions.

The technician, Mike **, was professional, thorough, and friendly. He covered every aspect of the security system in a manner that was easily understood. I’m sure he is an asset to the Vivint company. I certainly would recommend Vivint to family and friends,

The whole experience, as well as cost and service exceeded my expectations. Everything went smoothly and according to the plan along with the cost as compared to a competitor who was ready to sell me product that didn't work in cold climate. Very happy with the result.

Eddy was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all questions I had and helped me choose the right system for my needs. The follow up team was great and ensured all my needs were met. One recommendation I do have overall is to update the Call system faster. I was receiving calls daily after I had already signed up.

I ran into an issue with my whole panel needing to be replaced. Aaron was absolutely phenomenal and is great at what he does. Very patient and professional and helped me the whole step of the way! Thank you again Aaron!!

I ordered a panel activation at **, instead Vivint made me pay for a new panel because old panel was out of date. I don’t think this is fair. My service guy was excellent for the service. I ended up paying over $400 for a new panel when I could have done a new install & used my referral code. I have multiple Vivint systems already.

I’ve had other security systems and had other quotes from other companies but Vivint had everything I was looking for. Luke ** helped me with my initial consultation and was very professional, fun and helpful. I described everything I wanted and he was able to put together a great security package with all my needs covered. Luke was even able to schedule the installation earlier than quoted by my request. Couple days later Abraham ** and Malik ** were the Field Service Pros that showed up to my place. Abraham and Malik arrived in the earlier portion of the provided arrival window and were also very professional, fun and supportive of all my security wants and needs.

Kenneth was my installation tech and he was friendly, knowledgeable and fast. He walked me through everything and was patient when I asked questions. I’m enjoying my service and glad I choose them. The service isn’t priced too high and I even had the option of deferred payment. The monthly cost is way cheaper than I would’ve expected for the package I choose and my down payment was reasonable

I am very pleased with my entire experience from the first call to the installation. Everyone was friendly and professional and valued me and my time. I was scheduled immediately for installation and had everything in place within a few hours.

Just got this system and I’m very pleased with it so far. The tech was very professional. He answered all of my questions and the installation went very smooth. The clarity of the cameras is great. It’s kind of pricey but well worth it.

The gentleman who came to help was super awesome. I just had surgery and can’t get off the couch. Guy came over to me help set everything up on my phone. Which I’m super happy about! Guy was super nice talking to me while we waited for system to update. He adjusted the deadbolt on the door since it wasn’t locking correctly. Will recommend to all my friends to get!

Vivint has proven superior accessibility and respectfulness of time over ADT. Jason ** was fantastic in service. The explanations are thorough and easy to follow and the price points are much more reasonable than ADT. I spent 1 + hours waiting on phone for ADT to simply cancel, and THEN they try to keep me on a lukewarm “special offer” despite being with them 10+ years

My installer Alex was excellent! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He did a great job and I feel very safe now with my new system! The equipment is unobtrusive and blends in with my home, and the installation looks great.

Answer to all my issues… Great customer care and affordable… What you get for the money you spend is priceless. Nothing like safety and being able to see who is at your door… Love it. I had Vivint in the past and no company is better!

Your person was polite, professional and very fast and efficient. Explained all details to me. Before he arrived he let me know by text how far away he was. Also told me that I could call on him if I encountered any problems. That was comforting to me, since at my age, 74, I am not very comfortable with all this new technology.

The technician was very thorough and friendly. Excellent customer service. They were fast and clean. They made sure that I knew how to use the Phone app and the keypad in the house. They also went through and made sure I knew how to change the ringtones. Very cute. They offer holiday ringtones. All in all, I am very pleased and will recommend to my neighbors and friends.

The technical that came out today to install our system was great. James ** was very helpful answering our questions & did a wonderful job installing the equipment. He was very patient with my elderly husband which I really appreciated.

Before Brian called me, I was seriously considering doing business with another security company, because the last two Vivint reps I spoke with said they had to look up some information and would call me back… but never did. Brian ** was the 3rd Vivint representative to call me after my inquiry, and the only representative prepared to discuss Vivint product options. I found Brian to be knowledgeable about the products available, considerate, and a great listener. Installer Greg was able to install everything ahead of time. Explained the contract at the beginning, working procedures of all equipments and at the end clean all the mess and walk me through the working procedures again. He is very courteous and polite.

I’m very pleased with my installation. The technician Ja’Rael did a great job explaining the process and system, as well as making recommendations as to where sensors should be placed throughout my home. He was very knowledgeable and friendly making it a very smooth process. I had ADT before and was impressed with the advanced system features. I also got the video doorbell and NEST truly making my home a smart home. Only suggestion would be to finalize the application prior to install as we spent :30 minutes completing this step due to error on my application which could have been addressed prior to. Despite this the tech was very patient and understood. I’m happy to have the peace of mind of knowing I have a secure, smart home. So far as I’m glad that I chose Vivint. Hoping customer experience will be as helpful.

Great technician. Careful, thoughtful. Smart, helpful. Smart and careful. He reviewed every aspect of the system. He reviewed all the necessary actions to setting up alarm dysfunction. I would rely on him because of his ability and patience.

I was not happy at the end of my install to find out that I was promised to get an additional and was quoted a price, come to find out at the end it was not true I had to pay an additional $200 for a feature that I thought was included, salesperson did not show me what he was setting up only verbally, I wish I did not purchase because of lack of knowledge and spending more money intended.

So far so good! I switched to Vivint after a horrible experience with another company. The installers came and explained everything, verified pricing and setup all equipment. We discussed what was needed and any changes made were confirmed with me. Corrections did need to be made after the Sales Order did not reflect promo items (and pricing) but that was resolved.

The tech that did my install was very helpful and knew how the system works and was able to answer all of my questions. Installation took about an hour and a half. They were very polite and courteous and were very friendly.

Gunner was super helpful. He understood what I was looking for and made the process super simple and smooth to transition to. I highly recommend this security company as they were able to complete the transition the next business day!

Great. Just need to learn the app and remember to disarm alarm. Other than that I am happy. I would like a 3rd camera for backyard eventually. I was expecting the cost of it all be much less expensive but it is what it is.

Tech Jorge ** was very professional, knowledgeable, and communicated very well. He was thorough going through the steps from identifying best spots to situate the cameras and the other equipment and demonstrating the use on the board and on my phone app. He installed the equipment efficiently and thoughtfully making sure that the wires won’t be an eyesore. The equipment worked as told.

Had a security system installed!! Installers answered all questions with great knowledge and understanding!! We are senior citizens and she had great patience with both of us!! When installations was completed, we felt very comfortable. I would recommend my installer to others.

Camera and sound doesn’t work. Tried troubleshooting. Didn’t work. Not satisfied at all. Wasn’t briefed properly of how process/paperwork/equipment - until after the installer was there at the house already. Had I known that, I probably wouldn’t have set this up.

Purchased new system and had installed. Ja’real did in-depth discussion of what I was purchasing and how it was to be set up. He then installed and during each phase he explained all. I was thoroughly briefed at conclusion of install. After having had three different systems I feel this system will provide the security I wanted and Ja’real did an exemplary job installing and instructing its features.

Both technicians were amazing. On time, helpful and very nice. Did an amazing job, professional, proficient and knowledgeable. They definitely deserve a raise considering their work ethic. Highly recommend!

Getting started with Vivint was extremely easy -All it took was a short phone call with their reps to go over the equipment I wanted/needed and to schedule the installation appointment. Within the week they came out and installed my security - it was so fast! The whole installation and setup appointment took only 1 hr. Unheard of! The technician, that came out was amazing, he explained how to use the equipment and how to setup the app on my phone very well! I cannot recommend Vivint enough!

Is very good to secure the home and I feel more safe having the home security system. If anything happens I will know right away. My family will be more safe. I the a good feeling to protect my family and my property

I purchased my equipment outright so I don’t have contractual issues like many do. However, I have constant equipment issues. As others have stated, the batteries in the devices have to be changed often, more than anything security devices I’ve ever had. The thermostat has never worked for over a year. Every time I call for a technician, they refused to send one without a $50 fee. I already pay $60 a month for service. My panel stopped working and was totally black. I was paying for two months and had no service. When I first called for a technician, they were closed and refused to replace any of my batteries even though I had been paying for a system that did not work. So a month later, I finally remembered to call after I returned home from working 10 hours.

Tech was able to explain process well and worked well! Cleaned up after drilling and let me know how cámaras were going to be installed. Good customer service. Will recommend to family and friends for this installation of security system for any doctor's needs. System is straightforward and have no problems so far.

I have been trying for nearly a year to cancel my service. I called in Dec 2021 and was told I need to make a contract buyout payment. Done. Then in Sep/Oct, I get a bill. Oops! The agent professed that as a prepayment, not a buyout. By the way, we need an email notice of cancellation (first call never mentioned this) - send the email and I will note the account to backdate since we didn't tell you. Done. November: there is a problem with your account and it is not cancelled. Since you didn't send the cancellation in December of last year, you still owe us money - despite everything that has happened and our failure to process things correctly.

Installers were very friendly and professional. They took the time to make sure components mounted on the walls were level and where we wanted them. They also cleaned up after themselves, wore shoe covers inside the home, and made sure we understand how the alarm functions.

Eric (my technician) is very knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous. I highly recommend him and Vivint! He made my experience super fast and convenient. He was minimally invasive with setting up my security system. My system work extremely well. Thank you.

The product installer was amazing and helpful. The system works great as well. The new cameras with the flood lights are a great addition to the security. The installer told us they follow anyone in our perimeter wherever they walk and that is a plus for us. The installer was efficient and knowledgeable. He placed everything at the right angle and place. The panel is reachable as soon as you walk in.

The quality of the product is more than what I expected. The video is awesome. The price point is a little high but what price do you put on safety right! Michael the installer was very professional and knowledgeable. After he was was done testing his installation he instructed us on how to use the system. The Vivint tech is very professional and they work on a timely manner. Eric was a great help in explaining all the details of how the alarm system works and how all can be seen from my phone. He was very timely in how he installed all the cameras around the house and the doorbell camera as well.

The entire team were up to their duty to make sure I get my home protected with camera. However, I wasn't impressed that the Vivint couldn't provide the remaining 5 sensors for my 5 windows without sensors rather I was told I would have to buy each at $50 each. For now, the 5 windows are not protected pending when I could pay out of pocket. The Tech that did the installation was very nice, patience and good in guiding me through.

Best investment for our home; our tech Jose was very knowledgeable and had amazing customer service. Explained to us step by step how the system works and how to use it on our phones. Installation was quick and easy. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

I was completely caught off guard by my final cost of my “equipment” when all was said and done. I spent several hours over a 2 day period and numerous reps telling them that the math just didn’t add up. I never was given an itemized breakdown of all cost. I was only shown what i would pay monthly for my equipment and what I would play monthly for my services. I decided to cancel on the 3rd day. They don’t make the cancellation process easy. They set you up and install at the drop of a dime. They said the full cancellation process could take up to 30 days.

The first time I installed with your company The camera system would come and go and have issues The billing system mess up my billing. I had to have all that fixed over numerous times. Over the course of The time that I've had service there has been a lot of lagging, animal detection and wind detection telling me that there is a person present when there is not even though I was told it's not supposed to detect anything other than a person. I continued with this service as I already had an agreement just recently. Had a sales rep out. Told me about the new updated cameras and spotlights which is very convenient for a longer playback period on an SD card as well as the spotlight. After installation the camera system in the driveway where the spotlight is does not detect the detection zone that it is supposed to. The camera has been offline. The cameras in the backyard are still detecting the animals as people being present.

I had a security system installed by Daniel ** from Vivint yesterday. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Not only am I pleased with the equipment, Daniel was very thorough in explaining how to use the system. Also, he was very professional and personable. Highly recommended.

I contacted Customer service for assistance with reactivating an existing system. I felt like I did not get clear instructions on the system. I was told the 30 minute call would assist me with the set up and answer all questions. However, I only received a text exchange for the set up and it took about an hour. The agent called but it felt rushed and I was driving and not in front of the system to truly navigate and ask more questions. I still have questions. I will more than likely find a tutorial on the site or call customer service again.

We just had our installation and was able to get most of what we anticipated. Being we don’t have an attic, it was difficult to manage an easy way to get more outdoor cameras hardwired to the home. We still were able to get three cameras including doorbell. We replaced all our sensors since our alarm.com ones were starting to malfunction after just one year. We integrated our front door lock, have our co2 sensor monitor, and water monitors. We feel way more secure than before!

I was very disappointed in that I was given a different price than quoted, which had nothing to do with him. He helped me get a supervisor but the supervisor took the price down but increased the monitoring. Which made not sense to me. Told me basically I could not get what was quoted to me.

I talked to Shayne with Vivint and he quoted me a price on the phone. I wrote everything down on paper and read it back to him. He stated it was correct. The price was $68 a month including the equipment but when the Technician arrived he said it was $83 a month. I wasn't happy about it but I decided to go ahead. I called several companies and got quotes and Vivint was the cheapest price but actually it wasn't because I was given the wrong quote.

The installation took over 12 hours. One camera not installed where I wanted a view. Had to be relocated. Tech was great and it was a very long day for both of us. I wanted the door lock and once installed it would not lock. Many adjustments and it still would not lock. Had to remove and put in my old lock. I don't want this review to reflect on the tech, because he was very patient and kind. I feel this should have been a two man job from start to finish. The tutorial was quick because it had been such a long day. Another thing I want to add is. The day after installation I get an email about new installation can have up to 6 months monitoring free. I called and they said I don't qualify. Why send me the email,?

Vivint is by far the worst experience I've had with a security system. The cameras have great picture quality when they work, but that's the issue. They are constantly at low signal or no signal. The warnings are often minutes behind the actual event. The interface and app are terribly not user friendly. The customer service kept pushing a tech out post installation when we had issues and wanted to return the system. Then when customer service finally listened to my return request they said they couldn't do anything because it was past the 3 DAY RETURN POLICY. YOU ONLY HAVE 3 DAYS TO EVALUATE AND DECIDE ON THE SYSTEM. That is insane and unclear when purchasing the system.

Technician came the same day. They were very helpful. The cameras are up to date. They provide good service and quality. The last company could not keep their word on the same wavelength. This company consider their customers important.

Beware!! They don't allow Google or Facebook reviews for a reason--a huge red flag. We sold our house and paid off a Vivint system that was well over $3000 yet they are trying to force us to PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S MONITORING even though we no longer live in the home! How absurd is that! I've called several times to stop this and finally had to report the charges as fraudulent. Read up on this company. Apparently they're well known for theft! RUN AWAY!!

Luis and his partner David did a great job installing our equipment and explaining how everything works. I had originally asked for certain products and on the day of installation Luis was able to accommodate some changes my husband made. Highly recommend getting Vivint and getting Luis or David from El Paso to install it.

Installer was helpful especially with how to set up iPhone, codes and the like. He also took pride in his work. He took the time to correct the sloppily job ADT did on the outside wiring on the house. ADT just ran the cameras wire in the brick mortar lines. Our new system shows no wires visible to the camera, a much more professional job than ADT. Very satisfied with our new system. I was unsure about the transition because of the reviews and the price difference from my current system. It was truly a leap of faith! The installation process was exceptional! The field technician was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I am satisfied with the service and will recommend this product to friends and family.

I own two houses. I have had VIVINT (previously another company that I can’t remember) in Arlington TX since 2008. I purchased a new home in Waxahachie TX and BRINKS (formerly another company that I can’t remember) was already at the house, I just had to activate. We became dissatisfied with BRINKS and I chose to also put VIVINT at the Waxahachie address.

Pricing is high compared to other. Yes, I understand you get what you pay for, but you can come down on the pricing quote a bit. Your markup is outrageous. Those cameras are not that expensive. I can only hope the service will make up for it.

We recently moved into our home and had an unwelcomed experience with a man coming to our home that we didn’t know that police became involved with. I called Vivint the next day and asked about a system I saw installed in our home. To my surprise I was able to has the system activated under my name and schedule an appt to have it activated the next day. Shawn spent two hours at our home trouble shooting some issues and educating us on the system. He was amazing! Both Shawn and the phone rep were professional, and very empathetic to our situation. I really felt like this company had our best interest at heart and wanted to be sure I had everything I need to feel safe.

Vivint and ACN needs better communication and practice. The installer was the most helpful and straightforward person throughout this whole purchase. Was also very informative and patient with me seeing that I was a bit heated about the poor communication with vivint and acn saying I could pay cash when that definitely was not an option.
