The installation went well. How we the communication from the sales team was poor and ended up costing me an entire day to get it corrected. Our rep Dennis does not have understanding of what Vivint offers and it set us up for failure.

My experience was great. My tech was outstanding. Informative, he showed us how to work with the new system. He is very knowledgeable and great at his job. He is friendly, patient and communicate well. He was helpful and want to help. I love our new system. Thank you.

Spent all day at my Airbnb property (6 hours) on the technician to install 2 cameras. But they don’t even work or turn on. Now the loyalty team likes to put me on hold for hours and hours. So because of that, I will be canceling both homes.

Everything went well. Job done professionally and quickly. All my questions are answered and the system explained well to me. The representative came on time and finished in a timely manner. Every equipment installed to look nice. So far everything is working well. I am worried about customer service if something went wrong. According to my experience at my house system, they are very bad and it takes a minimum of an hour to answer.

Ryan bent over backwards to get our alarm installed. We had an extremely tight schedule and our internet wasn't in operation. But Ryan told us not to worry and that he would do a extra visit to finish the install when the internet connection was repaired. We are extremely happy now!

Everything was nicely done - the attention to details, the collaboration from Jancarlos and his help always consulting with me about everything he did. Excellent customer service from him and everything looks high quality. I really recommend it, the safety it provide to you and your family is priceless.

Landon ** installed my system and patiently went through paperwork that didn’t go through on my phone. He also was very helpful in my install because I need electrical service to get installed and he let my electrician figure out install while he was there so I can have a seamless installation and can have the best product completion.

My tech was amazing. She went above and beyond to complete the installation to my satisfaction. Also, I plan to build a shop in the next month, and I love the fact I will be able to just call to add more equipment. I would recommend this company to everyone. And I will definitely be adding more equipment to my system soon.

During our process Darel was very good and efficient and help us all the way through. He was able to give us information about how to use the device and the Cameras. Overall the service was very good and we are happy so far.

The technician was very knowledgeable and kind. I look forward to using my new security system to monitor the exterior of my new home. Hopefully the alarms will not be needed, but if so I will be prepared. The technician was punctual.

Mr. **, my installer was on point in everyday. He took the time to explain EVERYTHING I needed to know about operations for our new Vivint system. I'm a senior citizen and his demonstration of how to operate the entire system, made it very understanding for me to feel comfortable the first time working it. Thanks Vivint for hiring people like Mr. ** who really do take pride in their job and company... Thumbs up to them both.

Tech was great. System is outstanding. Love the new cameras. Plus it show the weather report on the new keypad. The app makes it easy to work. I really like the new system which is cellular base. That is one of the main reasons I switched from ADT. I had ADT for more than fifteen years.

My system is not working. I'm still using and paying Brinks. Jobs fine by half are never done right. The technical told me he will get Back to me up till now. I done think I'm having a good impression. I can't even download the app.

My install tech was extremely kind and patient with me throughout the purchase and install process. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. He had to do extra work in order to install my outdoor cameras but he did it so quick and it looks perfect.

Experience as a whole was very good. Sales guys were very nice. Installer did a great job. Some things on our end didn't cooperate with install so will have to finish job at a later date. And wasn't an ideal time 8:30pm and the installer wrapped up at 10:15pm. (Only reason for not 5 stars.) System seems easy enough to operate even for me. And hope when get cameras installed will be even better.

We had a “Smart Home Pro” representative and well as maintenance technician in our home yesterday who were absolutely wonderful at their jobs. Their approachability as well as efficiency were top notch. The rep informed us of how the previous security system we had varied drastically from Vivint’s system and at the end of our consultation and quote, switching was a no brainer. Thank you so much to Stephen (rep) and Rene (technician) for stepping into our home and making us feel safer by the end of the evening.

Colton was an excellent representative for Vivint. He explained everything about the system and was the same person that installed everything. One of the best experience we have ever had installing a new system. Equipment is a little pricey but a definite upgrade from the old system we had with Brinks.

Jesse ** explained the Vivint security system thoroughly, was patient to respond to questions and listen to our security concerns and, in general, was a charismatic person who made us comfortable during the presentation. He presented the options and gave us pros and cons and helped us make good decisions. Once we decided to move forward with becoming Vivint customers, he installed all the equipment and followed up with clear instructions in how to use the system. As a former teacher evaluator, I was quite impressed with his teaching skills. As to the Vivint security system, we feel very safe and secure, the purchasing process was made easy and the payment method very convenient.

Really good. Excellent representatives of the company. Sales and installation. There was no pressure with sales. Succinct and informative. Install was very fast, professional and careful. The payment plan was simple, no money down, easy monthly payment with no interest.

After speaking with a representative who gave me a lot of worthwhile information about his company that I found helpful, I decided to switch carriers. He was very knowledgeable. I had no plans for switching carriers even though I was not to happy with the one I have.

Alirio our tech was amazing. He did upsell us but he had good reason. This is our second home with Vivint and they have great service and products. We decided to go with them again because of the ease of using it and customer support.

They were super friendly and quick working, cleaned up the areas they worked in. Very professional and taught me how to use all the products they installed. Took care around my home and respected all areas. I would request them again if any technical work was required.

The whole experience was outstanding, our installer was very professional, courteous and friendly. He was upfront with all the information we asked and answered all of our questions. My installer was great, although I couldn’t get him to day drink with me. He installed all our stuff and put up with my ** dogs. He was on time, friendly, and pushed all the right buttons. Would recommend, for sure. I wish he would have taken my dog home with him, as I’m a good host and offered, but alas, he didn’t need a dog at the moment. Please let him know the offer stands.

I was recommended this service by a neighbor and so far I am very pleased with my new home security system. I was quoted by Billy and the installation was done by Michelle. They were both very professional and helpful in answering any questions or concerns I had before, during as well as after the installation. Michelle was very conscious about my time which I appreciated very much, she also ensured all of the equipment was online and working in spite of the small connection issue we had. I’m looking forward to this system and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Excellent Tech. Very knowledgeable and worked quick and efficiently. Also was very helpful about offering suggestions on equipment placement. He ensured I was aware of agreements. He also made sure I was comfortable with using the system! The equipment functions seem simple and the design is sleek.

Billy was great! He was knowledgeable and thorough. The install tech, Ryan, took the extra step and re-keyed the smart locks to my current key which is extremely helpful. I like the camera quality, the 24/7 recording, the app is intuitive & the features are better than what I had previously.

This is my first time in years having home security services. The technology has come a long way, and I was impressed by the sales team that showed up at my door. I was intrigued by the offer, and even more surprised that the installation was occurring the same day. I was told that there wouldn’t be any upfront costs. Well, that’s the reason for the 4 star review, instead of 5. There was in fact a charge of $44, and an attempted charge of over $700 (a down payment on the $3000 system?). Fortunately I didn’t have $700 in my account, so it didn’t clear. Aside from this bit of dishonesty, everything else, including the installer, was great. I would highly recommend Vivint, just read the fine print, and don’t get blindsided.

My neighborhood is frequently inundated with walking salesman so to say I’ve crafted various ways to say no is an understatement. Tyler was friendly, non-pushy, and willing to walk away if I said so. This alone made me want to hear his pitch. His offer was good, the installation was great and so far I’m pleased.

Had my security system updated along with the installation of a doorbell camera and security camera covering the driveway. Jake the service technician was great. He was very knowledgable. Super efficient and very personable. Wish all service technicians were this good. Made it a great experience.

I haven’t had time to utilize my system yet but I’m sure I’m going to enjoy it. The emergency pendant is a plus. Who would’ve thought about not being home when a Fire Alarm goes off? I will recommend to friends and family.

My impression of this company from the first contact through the satisfaction of the installation is that this company is 100% trustworthy. It appears they have many checks and balances so every representative is scrutinized for doing exactly what they're supposed to do and with honesty and integrity. My installer, who also was very much responsible for putting together the package that I ultimately decided on, was nothing less than a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable, did everything in his power to give me everything that I needed. His explanations of the equipment was excellent. I would 100% recommend this company and most especially my installer Mike.

Rhonda was excellent with setting up my service. She was very professional. The setup was amazing with my ring doorbell and inside cameras. Her communication was top-notch, she explain everything to me in detail. I will refer this company to friends. My system works great.

I was prompted to review before I ever even received the email that my equipment had been shipped. My mom is a customer, so I know I like Vivint, however, I am not impressed at the fact that I received multiple texts to review before I have even gotten the opportunity to properly review the service myself. I would consider asking for reviews after customers have had service for at least a month.

My technician was amazing, very thorough and detailed and patient with teaching me how to navigate through the new system. I am looking forward to moving fully in my new home so that I can access the new system at full capacity with my Wi-Fi hooked up.

The representative was very cordial and professional. My only disappointment was the technician, after he drilled a hole he left the wood chips in the floor and trash in the garage. It would have been a plus if he had cleaned up after himself.

The communication was very good and helping us with the system. I’ll recommend to my friends. We has been customer of Vivint for the last 5 years with the solar panel and everything has been great. Now we have purchased the alarm system. The install was completed last night without any problems.

Salesman Joseph was professional and knowledgeable. The installers Oscar and the other young man was also professional and knowledgeable. They worked very well together. We will give this whole team 5 stars. They walked me through the entire system and we like all the features but it’s hard to try to consume all their knowledge in one day. But they were great and I know where to go if I have any questions and I would like to give them a big Thank you for the hard work knowing that you have made my wife feel more secure within our home.

Chris was very knowledgeable and personable. He explained everything to the T and suggested anything I could/would need for my apartment. Very much appreciated for him coming to do what he did for me to make sure I was secure in my questions after installation.

Do not use Vivint for your home security. I had it installed 5 years ago. The cost is incredibly high and the customer service is awful. I called 5 months ago to cancel the service and after 45 mins of them trying to down sell me, and not giving me a confirmation of cancellation or telling me anything about what other steps I need to take, I said no thank you, please just cancel. Fast forward I'm still being charged and now they tell me I have an unpaid balance for the last two months, yes more than 3 months after I asked to cancel, they kept charging me. After another 55 min call, find out I have to email a special email (no were on their website) to cancel and it won't be effective for another 30 days. Biggest waste of time and money. Avoid subscription security services.

I would definitely recommend this service to friends and family. The staff members are knowledgeable and prompt with providing information on what to expect from their service and when it came to filling out forms online; the next step was explained.

Both James and the Technician who installed were great. I like everything that comes with this program! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a home security program. Can’t wait to see how this security program works out for us.

Kyle, the expert technician I was so very fortunate to have, was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and so very patient. I had absolutely no clue as to what services I wanted or needed. Kyle explained in detail and in layman terms the plethora of available options. I was so fortunate to have him as my technical expert.

From sales to install I couldn’t be more pleased. Outstanding service and so good to be away from the old antiquated ADT system. Cameras are better placed and much better reception. Excellent customer service before, during and after the sales and installation.

Install was excellent! Efficient and professional. However, cost of hardware is very expensive. Even though there is a higher cost the security coverage isn’t the same. The sales team should have done a walk through as I was lead to believe I would have the same coverage as the system that was being replaced.

My first scheduled installment was from 12 to 4, he was communicative regarding his ETA but as it got closer to 2pm and he still wasn't on his way. I figured he was very busy but he was getting to me till after 4, so I had to reschedule which worked out well for me anyway. My second scheduled installment was a bit annoying because I specifically, weeks in advanced, wanted 8 to 12 schedule and I thought everything was fine until the day before the scheduled installment. I was called to confirm my 12 to 4, which was absolutely wrong. I had to call a few times to get it fixed which took alot of time from my busy schedule which was what annoyed me the most. The day of installment, Miller U came in at 10-10:30, was very professional and patient with my inquiries. Everything was done in about 2 hours and it was explained to me very well.

Great technician knowledgeable and efficient. Very quick and neat, answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I had. Was unable to connect my Nest thermostat and my garage door to integrate in the same system while he was present, but I hope to be able to add them to the Vivint smart system to have all in one.

John showed up to my house on time and tidy. He took the time explain his installation process and completed it in less time than he thought. All this after I added some extra equipment to the install. Great guy, very pleasant. I Should have done this sooner.

Agent had informed us about all the info regarding our solar panels, went above and beyond and making sure we get the best deal, broke down the payments and how we could pay faster, as well as future billing from electric company, an average of what may be expected to pay them but at a much lower monthly rate.

The sale people were very persistent and we decided to switch. The guys that came to install our equipment took forever to get it switched out were at my house till 2:00 am and had to return the next day for another 8 hours. They were very nice however they didn’t explain how the equipment works. We like our new cameras way better then what we had but we can’t get the doorbell to work.

After meeting with a number (some big some local) security companies I found Vivint. High tech and high touch. Yes you have to first deal with a faceless rep on the phone but after that real, helpful, very knowledgeable people handle final sales and installation process. If you are in Philly request Michael ** and Jeffrey **. They are seasoned, professional, and really care about the customer experience.

Very happy with my whole alarm system, this is my second system and I'm very happy with it and with the service Vivint has provided me, highly recommended, there's a reason why I decided to stay with vivint for my second property.

The service person Zachary is not knowledgeable about the services. He was late and did not show the first time. Rescheduled and he was 30-45 min late and then did not finish in a timely manner. Third rescheduled for the 3rd time and did not show or call.

Vivint has all the latest - video doorbell, door locks, thermostats, indoor and outdoor cameras, and so much more. My technician, Jeff was quick, smart, helpful, courteous, friendly and as pleasant as he could be. We have a second home and will be requesting that he be our installer!

The installer Joe was GREAT, patient, explained everything in detail and knowledgeable. He also walked me through the process of how the system works. In addition he did not hesitate to repeat instructions when I wasn’t sure of the functions.

Everyone that I associated with was amazing, but the timing was really bad. I had to reschedule twice because there was a scheduling error on the company's end. Yesterday, I was scheduled from 10AM to 1PM. The gentlemen didn't arrive till 3:30 pm. The first time, we had to just completely reschedule for a week later. Due to another scheduling error. The equipment and the personnel have been great, but the scheduling errors have been inconvenient. I don't mean to sound rude and I understand mistakes can happen but we are committing to a huge deal here with the solar panels and security system and you would think that there wouldn't be so many inconveniences.

Vivint is a great alarm system. Jon, our salesman was above and beyond in explaining the “ins and outs” of the alarm system and the company. My wife and I were getting concerned in the area we live in. We love the doorbell camera feature and the ability to speak to an agent from the master device. The accessibility from the app is also a huge convenience. Overall I would recommend going with this alarm system.

Personnel were very understanding and helpful on all technical info and guided us thru very patiently.. The Rep was very informative and patient with all questions.. The installation person was very helpful with apps and forms to be filled out.. Both very efficient.. We felt very comfortable working with both.. For elders trying to understand today technical present day data is sometimes confusing but they did a very nice job explaining process of use equipment.

The technician was vey thorough and explained what he did. He went over the instructions using the control panel. The cameras look great. I like the way the vehicle tracking devices work. The window and door sensors work great. I like the functionality of the glass break sensor.

We are new to Vivint but have had a great experience so far. Our estimate process was fast and our system installed a couple days later. Installation was completed in a timely manner. Installer made sure every thing was working correctly and that we knew how to use the system before he left. Every person we have dealt with so far has been friendly, helpful, and most importantly honest. We loving how easy the system is to use and amazed at the video quality.

I had my security system installed 2- days ago. I received professional, Great, on-time service! I am happy to feel more secure and learning to get more comfortable with the process. It is great to have a 30 days to make sure happy with security system.

He helped me understand what was going on with the acct. He did all he could to assist me and get it resolved hopefully. The billing is resolved but we found out I had 2 access I never knew. Was never told that once I upgrade and had done a loan they created another acct and that is where it all went wrong. He fixed it to where it's linked now. I appreciate his help and he was the one originally that installed my cameras in 2019. I had already like Jonathan as he is very kind and professional.

I was pleased the way the installer addressed all my concerns. Time management was great as well. He made sure that I understood how to work the system. I tried to give him something as a tip but he said no thank you. That this was his job.

Jesse was amazing. He walked us through the process, held our hand in a way, and made us feel that our home, and most importantly our family would be safe. We went into this process thinking today was just a consultation with what we had been told by the consultant on the phone when we initially set up this appointment, little did we know it was actually an install appointment so we were a little skeptical and felt like we were misled, but Jesse assured us, and made us feel like we are making the right decision.

Jesse (our installation agent) was informative, patient, and professional. He answered all our questions and addressed concerns. His expertise was invaluable with regard to explaining an easement on our new property and what to expect. Customer service, in my humble opinion, starts at point of first contact with a potential customer. A+ experience with the Vivint team on our system from finding out my concerns, suggestions on hardware solutions to meet my concerns and cost.

Everyone from the sales team to the technicians were very professional and informative. The installation happened on the same day that we purchased the equipment, actually about 20 minutes after we signed. The installers helped pick the best locations for our equipment and showed us how to navigate the system. The install was quick and they did a great job of cleaning up after themselves.

Mike has excellent customer service skills and was very helpful through the entire process… Clean installation with very good follow up… Very professional. Mike was also training a new employee and showed very good leadership skills in this process… I will recommend Mike and Vivint to my friends and family…

Scheduled the appointment for my new Vivint security system to be installed. They were prompt and courteous in confirming the appointment. On the day of the appointment the technician Darrell ** was right on time with a nice notice of arrival text message. He worked hard all morning and into the afternoon to get the system installed and set up perfectly. Everything looks amazing and installed perfectly. He kept wires discrete and was very polite during the entire visit. Very happy with our new home security system and will have that peace of mind now. I recently had an alarm system installed and John, the alarm installation technician, exceeded my expectations. Not only did he arrive on time, but he also had a professional and friendly demeanor. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the various components of the system and took the time to explain to me how it worked. The installation itself was a breeze, as John was very efficient and completed the job quickly. I'm confident that the system was installed correctly and that we are now well protected. I was not present for the install but heard it went extremely well. The technician, Brady, did a fantastic, professional job at securing our new home with the cameras and the panel. Additionally, he was able to hide wiring which have otherwise been an eyesore. We are pleased with the overall service.

The appointment was booked with understanding that this was going to be cash based transaction. I paid the visit fee. The appointment was scheduled and confirmed. They never showed up and my visit fee was refunded and no contact or warning. They are a $$ grabbing service.

We had our alarm installed on 2-14-2023, the young man arrived on time, did explain what and where did the alarms would be placed and gave a well explanation of how the alarm works. Also did a very clean job.

Where to even start... You're forced to go through some weird survey that's given by a pre-recorded video and clearly looking to shield Vivint from liability. This is not how I want my relationship with the company to start. The installer was lazy. We mentioned roughly where we wanted the cameras and before we could pick a specific location, he'd already punched holes in the stucco. I'm sure we're going to get an angry mail from the HOA over the camera locations out front.

I am the old dog and this system is a new trick. May take a few days or so to learn it. Well enough that I’m completely comfortable. We did have a visitor who said he rang the bell, but we never heard it. Then he knocked, and we were expecting him, so we went to look. At least we have his picture on their camera. When he left, I tried the doorbell again, and it seem to work OK. We have armed and disarmed it a couple of times and that process seems to go OK. Hopefully will have no more problems. Thanks.

This was huge for me, because we have had some vandalism at our home lately, and I was anxious to get a system installed. Another huge plus was I didn’t have to drop a ton of money. They offer a monthly payment plan with 0% APR so it’s very easy to afford, even for us as young, new homeowners.

DO NOT START A CONTRACT WITH VIVINT!!! I had vivint ever since 2018 and was paying on the equipment for years and vivint monitoring. I wanted to cancel vivint and to find out YOU CAN NOT USE your equipment that you paid thousands of dollars on, even on a app. You will waste your money on them unless you will be using them for life. They never told us that you can't use the equipment if you cancel your vivint. So what the hell am I gonna do with the equipment now that I paid thousands on. You can go buy a camera on Amazon and have an app for it and not paying a monthly fee. They are fraud!!! DO NOT start a contract with them!!!! Wasted thousands of dollars that I can't use the cameras now.

The technician was reasonable and prompt. He installed what I asked for (2 glass break sensors, 1 motion sensor, 2 door sensors, and 2 water sensors). At the end of the visit. I walked through with him the functionality of each sensor. The motion sensor didn’t work at all. It was brand new. He replaced it with another new sensor. It also didn’t work. He confided in me that none of the wireless motion sensors works — not one that he has seen work in 5 years. He said the wires sensors work, but Vivint no longer supports those.

The agent was friendly, professional, and at a rapid pace. He arrived in a timely manner and got straight to work. He seemed knowledgeable of what forms and procedures I needed to take care of. His work was not sloppy and he cleaned up where he needed to.

My initial contact to get Vinint left my faced with dissatisfaction, my 2nd contact with a manager made matters worse. However, once contacted by Eric, given his seemingly upmost care and willingness to thoroughly explain everything with integrity, I decided to go through with becoming a Vivint customer. I had a rough start with getting someone to me. But, my technician Brian ** was AWESOME! He took his time, explained everything and made me feel at ease. I told him I had a teenager & he made sure to show me exactly how to show her how to use everything. He answered of my questions and was very efficient. I feel great about my new install.

It took too long to install the system. It was 7:00 pm before the last tech left. He was experiencing system problems. We had to delay our dinner. Communication was not relayed to me on a timely basis. Better planning was needed to get a higher rating. Overall all personnel was very helpful.

The installer Mikel was very knowledgeable and kind. Very easy system to use. We will definitely be buying more cameras and sensors to add to our system. I appreciate how large the panel is and how loud it is for the doorbell to hear in areas of the house.

I went with Vivint because of the reviews. The technicians were very knowledgeable and precise about the location of the cameras. So I had two locations being installed. I had to pay fees. That I wasn’t aware of, :(. When I checked my account, they took out almost 800 dollars. Just make sure you double checked from the agent. I knew I had done that!
