I was looking for a security system company that didn’t require signing a contract then I found Vivint online. I called them and then customized my equipments which amounted to about 1825. I paid my deposit and when the technician arrived he showed the total price. By this time the price had gone up to about 2000, I had paid my deposit prior to the installation and balance should have been about 1325. Vivint is not straightforward with their customers especially when paying for all equipments at once. The customer service agent claimed not to know what I’m saying and decided to dismiss it and cut off my call in the middle of our conversation. Terrible company.

Every person I encountered during the whole process was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Everything exceeded my expectations. I was taught things I had no idea of. They showed great patience with me being that I know absolutely nothing about tech. I would recommend Vivint to everyone I know.

Joe was really great and explained everything very well, even with my kids and all of their friends running around. Danny arrived very quickly and was able to get everything installed with no issues. He then showed us our new system with and helped us set up our apps as well.

The entire Vivint Team have been professional and patient with the onboarding process. Each has taken the time to explain everything. The system is amazing! The clarity on the cameras are incomparable. I am grateful for the salesperson knock at our door.

Both my sales rep and technician were wonderful. Very knowledgeable and kind. Love all the high tech features and phone connectivity! The convenience and peace of mind this brings is so exciting! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their security and have on demand access with phone app features.

The rep was very pleasant and patient. My credit had a freeze on it and I had to unlock it in order for him to complete my app. The installation was done promptly after the financial aspect was set. I am hoping to refer a friend.

Jon came over this morning and gave me a great overview of the business, its benefits and why I should switch over from my current monitored alarm company. Paul came over to close the deal and installed the new system. It's working great and gives me the peace of mind I needed.

Logan ** sold us 3 cameras and a doorbell. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The installation was quick and the technicians were very helpful. The complete process took 2.5 hours. We are very pleased and would recommend Vivint. Thank you making this easy and Buick.

The tech Seth was very detailed and helpful and did in a timely and nice manner. He was polite and arrived in good time. The equipment is easy to work and the picture and sound is good quality. The company was referred to me by a coworker and so far I'm very pleased.

What we had discussed was not what was presented on the work order. It wasn’t very well explained to me and I would have agreed to the additional equipment if i had been better educated on their functionality. Additionally, my sales rep was unclear with me on the final costs which would include taxes. I was told I was also waived an install fee, but then later was explained to me the install fee was not going to be covered by Vivint.

He was very nice, he clean up behind himself. It a little longer than I thought it would. Still learning the in and out how to work it. The glass breaks work really well. I drop a glass and it set them off.

Everyone we countered with from your company was amazing! Keegan was extremely well trained with his sales technique. He was easy to talk to and very thorough. We enjoyed his company and we couldn’t have had a better person knock on our door. AJ came and installed it. AJ was phenomenal and made sure we were on the same page before he ever pulled out a drill. Everything looked so great and clean once it was up. He cleaned up after himself and was just a smart and lovely person to talk to. With all the chaos we had going on in our home, we couldn’t have asked for a more patient and hard working team. I can’t wait to show all my friends our new set up.

My consultation was very quick and to the point and very informative. Everything is easy to use and very simplified. Very clear video and audio. I receive notifications for all movements outside and enjoy the playback options. I am very pleased with my choice to go with Vivint.

They came out and got the job done. They answered all my questions and helped me the best way possible. It took no time to get my monitor set up and now I have access to all my cameras. Their cameras are really good quality.

Service was fast and friendly. All the agents had good customer service and seemed knowledgeable. Agents worked hard to make our requests happen. I would use them again. They were able to work with my busy work schedule and I was able to easily schedule appointments.

Super fast and easy, customer service was fantastic, great experience installing the system (he even cleaned his mess up). Talking with the sales rep was super easy and I did not feel pressured by them. Just got quality assurance of the system, overall we would do it all again. Thank you guys!

Installers were efficient and careful. Courteous and explained throughout the process. So far we are pleased we made the transition. The smart thermostat is excellent..if we forget to set before leaving we can do it on our phones! It should help cut energy costs.

Had a very great experience from the sales guy all the way down to the tech who came to install stuff in the house, the panel, the cameras, door sensors, the glass break sensors etc. Vince ** done a great job and everything looked very professional.

Home security sale and installation. Ron was our salesman. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable in the service being provided to us. Mason was our installation technician. Very friendly and courteous and was patient in educating us on how to use our new security system.

The installer was a nice guy but he left a mess. He didn’t clean up the mess from drilling into the doors. He left all the wire ends he cut off on the floor and counters. Plus his hole placement was not ideal. Overall we are not very happy with the work but once again he was very nice.

I can't view the cameras on my phone because the guys said that they had to get a air bridge but they never came back. I was wonder if someone will come back out to install the air bridge. I want to be able to view that n cameras on my mobile phone.

Poor representation. Sales very deceptive, furniture was damaged by the installation tech. Poor installation, wires left hanging. Company don't want to let you out of the contract. Customer service is poor. The equipment is not worth it. I wonder how many people they have deceived.

The Technician did a very good job on installation and explained how to use the system and how to put the information into the system and set it up to our specifications and the technician was very knowledgeable and helpful in everything he did and we are happy with the system.

The sales people were very nice and didn't push any of the equipment on us. The tech was very professional and told us everything we need to know about the system. Took no time at all to install. Very satisfied.

I had thought about getting a security system but just never got around to it. Matt ** stopped by my house one evening after a neighbor referred him to me. Matt was really informative and helped me get a really good deal on my security system. Everything was even set up that same night and the tech was done within about 2 hours.

Rome is an asset to your company. He came out to our residence and guided us through the process where we upgraded our system. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. I called him for my place of business where we did alarm, panic buttons, camera and door bell camera. The process was flawless . He came with Jenny and now even my staff wants Vivint! What a positive experience.

Vivint allowed me to customize a package that was right for me. They followed up the day before my appointment and the day of and my technician was on time, informative, and all around great! I’ve already recommended my sister.

Outstanding Sales & Service at a reasonable price. They explained everything, are very honest, genuinely concerned for customers, & the system is easy to use. I feel a real sense of Security in our home now. My Bodyguard is VIVINT.

One thing I do like about the system is that I can view the camera from inside and don't always have to use my phone unless I'm not on my property. Plus they were able to work with me and to do a buyout program for my other system that I still had rights to. Customer service was really good. It's easy to work with. Explained in detail you know what I was getting into and plus last night I needed help with the pad and I found out it was my old system that set off the alarm medical alarm and fire alarm.

Loved the lady that sold them to us, the techs were amazing & did whatever they could to make sure we were happy! I can say I will gladly recommend this company to anyone looking for better quality, customer service & a better security system!

Just got my security system May 9, 2023. It is excellent. I love it. I will recommend this company to my family and friends. The Vivint representative was very nice and the tech guys were very nice also. The tech guys are very professional with the work that they do. They get the job done.

Pleasant experience. Would recommend to a friend. Installer was friendly and knowledgeable. System works like it should, nice to see outside the house without having to open the door. Doorbell works as it should, great deterrent to prevent individuals from stealing your packages left on your porch.

Friendly salesman and installer. Both were very knowledgeable and helpful. We were looking for cameras and something to let us know when someone broke in through a window. They installed sensors on the windows and keypad deadbolts on our doors. We now have smoke and CO detectors. All at a very reasonable price. They even offer financing if you need it. I highly recommend VIVINT.

Fast same day installation services provided. The service technician was also very knowledgeable of the products installed and assisted me in operating the system through my phone and the Home Screen.

I really wanted the garage door opener but tech told me since my garage door opener had myQ on it that it could not ne added. I search online and found mine's is myQ compatible but I got to buy a whole other piece so that it can work and this is the piece I guess you all provide but I had to go on Amazon and order me a Liftmaster 828LM so that I will be able to use the myQ app. Keep in mind this is the main part I wanted and had to do it on my own. Who do I call or contact about coming to take down all this equipment and stuff that was put in yesterday because the main part I wanted I did myself.

Our installation process was great. The tech arrived and was very friendly and explained the whole process as well as answered any questions we had. The installation process didn’t take a long time, which was very convenient. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend to others!

This system has everything a HOME could ever want in a alarm system...I should have gotten it when my daughter got it years ago..Glad we finally got it and really easy to to operate and price of it is very reasonable with all the features that you....

I recently bought a home that already had some Vivint security devices installed. The Vivint representative showed up at my house on my move in day before I got a chance to call them. They made starting my home security account simple. So far so good.

Installation of new home security alarm system. Sales Rep and also an installer was very good at what he does. He explained their business and how all the products works very thoroughly. He was nice and friendly. Definitely would recommend Vivint to any homeowners out there. Very satisfied!

Overall the experience wasn’t bad, but there are a few issues that could have been handled differently! The first was with the back camera installation, we were told that the camera would be installed on the brick siding, came back and it was installed above a door (which was newly installed as well) in the trim??? We should have been consulted first when the installer figured out he had to go with a different location! And just the overall appearance of wiring left exposed around the front door!

The Vivint employees were very respectful and worked diligently. However, they did not finish installing equipment until almost 1 am. Luckily I didn’t have work the next day but it was a bit of inconvenience. I was unaware it would take that long. It would be nice to be made aware and maybe have somewhat of a choice to set up on another day that’s more convenient. I was never told it would be finished by a certain time. However, the way it was presented made it seem like it would be quick and easy. That’s my only complaint and enjoyed the rest of the service.

My technician Jermaine was very professional and informational. He explained in detail everything I needed to know about my new home system. He was very prompt and his work is very neat. He will definitely get my recommendation!!! Good Job!

The men who gave me the presentation and installed the equipment were personable and knowledgeable. They were professional and respectful. After the completion of the equipment I did have a couple of questions about the automatics payments and the installer quickly checked his records and said everything was in order. Since then I have received messages stating that I still need to do more to get things set up. I must admit that I am a little confused by the mixed messages.

Dedicated, knowledgeable and experience tech. Forte was able to advise us to the tight level of security strictly associated to the design of the house. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a professional security system. The system is user friendly and appealing to the eye. The technician understood my request of no cables. Everything requiring a hard wire was concealed while the majority operates completely wirelessly.

I like that I'm able to arm my house when I'm not home and feel safe at night knowing I'm protected and can see everything going on around the house and outside. I don't have to worry about if someone is gonna break In or try to rob me.

The tech was attentive to how I wanted my system and the manager as well… the sales rep as well.. easy to work with.. I told the tech the wrong color for the lock and the sales rep said he would change it out for me with no issues… That’s great customer service… Way to go Vivint.. Customer service is big!

I would highly recommend Vivint for your home security. The cameras have great coverage and are crystal clear, the system is easy to use and the staff are very friendly and made sure that all our needs were covered. I have tried other security companies and they don't compare.

I have never received a copy of our contract. It was revised and we were supposed to get a copy. We do not even know what our payment breakdown is. We had many issues and received discounts that changed our contract.

They did a really good job and I’m glad I got the system. I really don’t know a lot about it but I will learn and I will recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you. How does the system know if you were somebody else at the house. I thought the pictures are really good.

When you install please clean up your mess. The power on Garage camera needs to be connected to a plug not the extension cord because it is just temporary. The p;ace to fill in the hose is very messy. It does not look professional.

Representative was frustrated and rude. Rushed the work. Crazy installation with cables exposed bare. Looks like a hazard resting on A/C unit inside a closet. Connected to an antique doorbell (pointless). Representative kept saying he was very busy and had to go quickly… Totally dissatisfied although it came highly recommended.

Aubry, hopefully I didn’t misspell the name, is awesome. I apologize I forgot the technician’s name. They both did amazingly and helped me set up everything to their fullest. Showed me how to do everything on the system. Overall I appreciate you guys.

The Tech of my installation was beyond what I expected. He was very polite and detailed of the system. I can tell that he takes pride in his work! That is always a plus to me. Also, each time I spoken to a Customer Service Rep including the Managers handled all of my concerns. Overall, I truly think I'm in good hands with Vivint!

Jeremy did a very professional job and he was very knowledgeable about the products and services. He text and let us know what time he would be there and showed up on time. He also took time training us on the products. He also found a device we had plugged in that was conflicting with our camera signals. All were resolved. I would highly recommend Vivint products to everyone.

Our sales person was friendly. I’m not super fond of the door to door tactics but we had been looking into a system anyway. The installation process went ok. The installer did put one of the smart locks on the wrong door but changed it once we noticed. Their program of installing 4pm-11pm isn’t very realistic for most people. Overall, the experience has been ok.

The salesman Xoren was totally friendly, very professional as he walked me through process, explaining cost, billing, and equipment. Xoren review everything, including showing me style and pics of equipment on his IPAD. Super confident in his delivery of Viviant product. Friendly, easy to talk to. Covered all questions I had. Mike the tech installer was very professional with installation, answering questions, and making decisions for outside placement of camera, coverage area. Mike also indicated he will be in MN till September, if I have a technology issues. Mike also covered protection plan, which I added for tech return and equipment problems. The experience was excellent with both these guys. I would refer them out to people I know.

The tech that installed my system this time was exemplary in his service. He was kind and very informative about what I needed to replace as well as what I didn't. He felt like a friend opposed to a salesman. Thank you so much for hiring the right people to take care of your customers! Roden is definitely a gem!!

Anthony made a call to check on the former owners of my house, who also used Vivint. Anthony was very professional and helpful during the installation. Colin came the next day to do further work on the installation. Then Deanna came yesterday to finish. All of your staff members were very knowledgeable, professional and helped me to understand how to use the app.

My tech Trey was awesome. He was there on time and explained everything in great detail. The pricing was also the best around. Mobile options seem to be great. Would recommend to anyone. Give them a call and see what they can do.

So, I did some research and I really like the product they showed me and its capabilities. The 4K and lights and recordings are second to none. I wasn't aware that I was being forced to finance 4000 from a company. I was under the impression that the fees and everything were being taken care of, then the total amount was $3,8... and some change. Next, I get a text to confirm 4k as the total amount we will be charged. I said, I disagreed but there wasn't much we could do so I consented.

David the sales rep, was extremely nice, personable, knowledgeable, and informative about everything. He was extremely accommodating as well and listened to what our needs were. He tried to sell us on certain things but was not overbearing and persistent about things we were sure we didn’t want or need. The installation techs were also very considerate and took pride in their work to make sure the job looked professional.

I have had a great experience so far from my rep. ET and the technician Oscar. Everyone's customer service was great. The both of them went above and beyond to make sure I will have the best experience. Keep up the great job!!!

The representatives of Vivint were respectful and patient. They took their time explaining the initial investment and then installing and explaining the equipment. Sale and installation were all a good experience! Installation crew were very professional and worked very hard. Sale person was not clear about the quote actually being an order for service. May have been something I missed however.

The sales representative explained all of the system features very well and made purchasing the package easy. The installing technician helped me find the best location for each sensor and guided me through the basics of using the system before he left.

Rep was real thorough we got system and was installed same day. Everything was installed within a couple of hours. Getting things registered and filled out and paid for was quick as well. Installer did a great job of where we wanted things to be at.

The guy that came out to do the installation was exceptional. He went above and beyond to install equipment and was very neat. He answered all our questions and did not make us feel rushed. He really took the time to explain how the app worked and to make sure our cameras had a good view.

The technician was poor in manners and unwilling to help me download the app. He was racing out the door without me being able to fully access my security system. He would not help me free up storage space on my phone so I could download the app. It wasn't his job to free up my storage but it wouldn't hurt him to try. He was too adamant about not helping me.

The tech that set everything up was great but the scheduling and when you call in is terrible. Called to change the appointment. Texted and confirmed time and day before driving to the new house (1 hr and 1/2 away) only for the lady to change the day of the appointment instead of the time. Called and no one was willing to help or set up a time for that day. So had to make 2 trips because of the lack of communication. Not impressed with the consumer service side at all.

The Vivint doorbell camera is higher resolution than the Ring doorbell camera. Also, the Vivint doorbell camera shows a lot more area than the Ring doorbell camera. The security system is easy to use. If you’re looking for a security system, try Vivint.

The features work seamlessly together under one app, great user experience. The installation tech evaluated the home and adapted the needed features to best suit it. Great products, great service, great app. I would like to see better coordination between the order and the bill of materials to be installed. Some items were not included in the installation and there is a two week delay to come out separately and install them. Not the technician's fault - he was great.

Ethan is an easy guy to work with, he stayed on point and explained his product extremely well. I was his last appointment on a Thursday night at 9:00, and stayed until I felt ready to buy. Little did I know that as soon as I purchased my system, the install would happen right then?! 10:00 PM, that was cool. Sebastian was on site with tools and products in hand and that night my house was armed. He was fast, courteous and clean, and a really nice guy. I had a small issue the next morning, and Sebastian came back on a Saturday afternoon to quickly resolve it. I'm very pleased. Thank you guys for your work.

Technician was doing well at first. When he went to install the rear camera he drilled through the frame of the sliding glass door and shattered the pane of glass. He cleaned up most of glass but left all of the equipment boxes on my counter. Very dissatisfied with the installation

I was reviewing three firms to upgrade my security system including Vivint. I made an appointment for them to meet me and assess my current equipment and service and for Vivint to show me what they can do. The day before they were to visit with me they called and said they were too busy to spend time unless I was willing to have them install, sight unseen. As you can imagine, I canceled. If they cannot make time for me as a prospect, I cannot imagine how they would treat me as a customer who already paid the bill.

The representatives Mick and Bryton were very thorough and informative with explaining the systems. Advised that we were new homebuyers so wasn't sure if could work with the budget yet but they were able to provide first 3 months free to test out the system and decide if we want to keep it. I felt that was above and beyond customer service.
