To be honest the salesmen made promises he shouldn’t have for what I was getting. That was my fault. I should have had me email what I was getting. However, the customer and support department were fantastic. They resolved the issue with pleasantness, knowledge and to my satisfaction. The technicians that were at my home were quick, clean and made sure I was set up to go. They were out of this world!!!

The very professional team of Joshua and Cruz representing Vivint explained their very comprehensive program to replace a broken doorbell in our almost 50 year old home in Montara Estates. I now feel secure with the coverage of my home that covers broken window detection carbon monitor fire police and ambulance instant contact. Will try out for free for 30 days so you have nothing to lose! Vivint is well respected in Las Vegas and this team will take great care of your needs in this changing world. Great Tech. Nice, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and patient. He stayed till all was complete & to our satisfactory. Would recommend him to others. We have 3 houses now with Vivint & even are paying more here in Houston to stay with Vivint because the house came with a security system that has a contract for another 5 years.

Overall a good experience. However installing in the evening interfered with our plans for the evening. The salesmen were professional. The installation was 30 minutes after the salesmen left. The installation was dinner time and interrupted our plans for the evening. The installer left a dusty mess where he drilled a cable in our bedroom and where he laid the doorbell cover on a table. It was late evening when the installation was completed. Overall we are happy.

The two gentlemen who were here to do the panel activation were very helpful and informative. Very happy with the service that was provided and have already started to recommend to friends and family to sign up as well. Everything was done in a timely manner.

I am excited about the DIY kit and having security at my apartment. Lindsay the sales rep I spoke with was awesome! She was very friendly and a pleasure to work with! I will recommend Vivint to all my friends and family! Great systems and products! Can’t wait for my system to arrive!!

I am so impressed in the most positive way with my family's experience with Vivint and their home protection products. I worked with Tyler initially. He did an excellent job explaining the security issues with our home and how the Vivint system can address each need. The presentation was excellent and addressed all of our concerns. We purchased our system that night which is very unlike me. I usually have to think about a purchase like this for a day or two. Not in this case. My wife and I saw the value and family protection the Vivint system could provide immediately and we decided to move forward.

Very easy to use, price is little high but I like the service, also I feel comfortable. Like the camera and doorbell feature. User friendly panel, easy to operate. The install engineer was good, very friendly, explained how to use it.

Greg, your technician is very knowledgeable, polite, and hard working regardless on what weather we are on. I am completely satisfied on his work installing my cameras and alarm. They did an awesome job. When coming in Caleb was super informative and super understanding of our situation. We’ve been having plumbing issues and haven’t been able to shut a door correctly until it’s fixed. Caleb showed us how to set when everything is ready on our end.

Tech arrived at a great time. Called before arriving. Was very professional from start to finish. Inspected preexisting security system and took old equipment off. Explained how new equipment worked and where to find important information. Kept a clean and organized work space. Upon finishing the install he made sure I understood how the system worked. Guided me into setting up on my phone.

This company was great to work with. They were able to schedule my installation within 24 hours. The installers were very friendly, kind and polite. I would use them again and for sure recommend them to friends and family.

My installer Michael was the absolute best. He took his time explaining clearly entry aspect of the security system. He was kind, respectful and extremely knowledgeable. He made me feel confident in the each piece of the equipment, how it works, the costs, and other future features to add. Installing this security system was extremely important and possibly life saving for me, as my children and I are currently in a domestic violence situation, and Michael without a doubt eased my mind during the whole process. When our rep David ** introduced us to Vivint, I was skeptical. We had a service already so I was not expecting to change security systems. But then he showed us the services and WOW! What a difference compared to our current system. We were able to get the conscience and security that we wanted at a price we could afford. Thanks, David and Vivint!

Super expensive compared to competitors, in every aspect from monthly payments to simple accessories. Camera is subpar. The only thing I like, it doesn’t rely on Wi-Fi, and works with built-in cellular chips. Other than that it’s ok.

Today I had my alarm system installed by Fredy. He notified me when he was going to arrive and he was on time. Installation was quick and painless. Fredy was very professional. He explained clearly how to use the alarm system step by step. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Jonathan was my tech who helped with my transfer. He was kind, polite and answered all my questions. He also explained everything he was there to complete so I could understand. This was the second time I had Jonathan as my tech. He always makes the experience great. He calls before the appointment to ensure the time is still valid. Jonathan also comes at the exact time we agreed to and that makes a great customer experience for me.

My husband and I had just purchased the home. The previous owners had Vivint, so I called to get the services activated. I was transferred 4 times before getting to the right operator. Once I got to Riley, he was very helpful. He scheduled a call for a technician Alex to call me to activate the system via the panel. Alex was several minutes late contacting me. He ended up texting me the steps to activate the system until he could call me, which ended up being 36 minutes after the scheduled call time. Once on the phone, his only question was “did I have any questions about the steps”. I had none, but I was expecting him to go over steps in getting additional equipment, how to set up the app, etc because that’s what Riley had told me to expect when I spoke with Alex. I asked a few questions about the app and additional equipment, but I’m likely going to have to teach myself the rest of what vivint has to offer.

The best salesman ever CHRIS. He made us feel real comfortable and safe. He was the reason Switches my service from ADT. I love the cameras and the alerts are accurate when I’m away. Everything he said it will be. I am fully satisfied.

Very polite and patient. Did his job pretty quick, cleaned his area after complete installment. Explained how system worked step by step. I'm happy with the experience he provided. Great work. I will recommend for people to get Vivint for services to protect their property from getting burglarized. Also to feel safe. Don't hesitate when you hear the price. They will work with you for payments.

The installation and the young man, Brandon, I believe his name was could not have been better, he was very informative and helped me understand the process which should have been done before he arrived.. However the initial information that I received from Axel was incomplete. I did not understand the approval process, the soft vs. hard credit check. I felt manipulated by that not being explained. The process of giving so much information on line is extremely disappointing. All pertinent information should be given so potential customers can make informed decisions. Again process seems very manipulative.

Representatives were friendly, respectful, and patiently answered in detail every question I had about how Vivint stands apart from other companies. They worked to get me the best deal possible. Installation was covered same day. During the free trial period, my representatives stopped by to ensure I was happy with the installation and home security package.

Although we had a slight error on inputting phone number in the system, they were very attentive about getting the problem rectified and getting the technician out the next day from the missed appointment. He very friendly and knowledgeable of system and explaining the details. Definitely recommend.

My installation was a breeze. The tech Skye is amazing, she's very knowledgeable. She made sure I understood everything from the paperwork to the equipment. The clarity of the camera is beautiful. She made sure I was able to hear the doorbell throughout the house.

Technician called before arriving to assure I would be home. Was extremely helpful and installed everything quickly. Was able to assess which area would be the perfect place to put the outside and interior camera. Was friendly and knowledgeable about product.

The sales process was clear and simple. The technician showed up promptly and got everything to work in a reasonable time. The company still has some support issues. For example, the technician incorrectly told me that I could not review the contract on my computer. He wanted me to review it on my phone. I ignored him and read the contract on my computer. I could read the fine print and the contract looked reasonable.

The steps were spoken easy the employee was very nice and calm and it all went smoothly. She had answered all my questions. My technician was very professional and friendly. He installed everything I wanted (and was totally fine with me adding more products than I originally intended to get) and explained things well. I definitely would recommend their service to friends and family!

Vivint makes it nearly impossible to cancel your service, even when you are out of contract. I called them to cancel my service, and after more than an hour on the phone being passed from department to department they tell me it has to be canceled in writing. When I told them I did not have internet access at the time, they said "have you ever heard of a library?"

The guys that helped get me the service were very helpful. I got what I needed for my business to be protected for exactly what I needed and didn’t try to sell me on what I didn’t need. Thank you Vivint.

The installation tech “Nick” was courteous, extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and above all; very efficient at his expertise. Everything was done faster than I could have hoped for.

So I canceled my service last May when I sold my house, and the new owner took up the service. I had to pay over $600 to do this. Fast forward to February of 2023 and I am getting billed again after no bills since that last one in May. They now want me to pay an addition $280 dollars plus the $120 they have charged me for February and March. This is because they never completed their paperwork according to the fourth person I talked to after being on the phone for over an hour and a half. This is not even taking into account to horrible product that was sent and installed by their own technician that was broken. Batteries being glued to the casing, circuit board that pop out so it can connect to the battery so you can never arm the system. The customer service is even worse. Do yourself a solid and don't ever use this company for this. Find something else anything else.

Done professionally by Zane. He went over everything on the install and operation of the system. But this whole install started by one your sales associate, Zach. He was very thorough on the quote and scheduled the time I wanted.

Everything started good then realized tech forgot to put up a sensor. Figured no big deal. Called Tuesday. After being on hold for a good hour of my day they would send me a sensor that I could install myself and charge me 4.95 shipping fee. If this is customer service I’m scared.

I did have Vivint install a home security system. They walked me through everything. The installer came next and he was great with the installation and went over every step with me. I am 63 and it is easy to do. I recommend this company. Many of my neighbors have the same system.

Suggestion for phone reps to be more transparent about credit line that has to be opened. Tech who was dispatched (Forte Dillard) was great with everything. Answered all questions and explained everything thoroughly. Gave best suggestions that worked for us.

Mr. Joseph was respectful and explained each part of the installation process. He provided instructions on the operation of the security system. He exhibited great customer service. He responded appropriately to all questions and he remained calm during the event.

It can be complicated when it comes to security system and assessing what you need and what cost it comes with. Vivian was great! They listened to my needs and offered a package fitting my needs and budget. I feel very safe in my new house and everything can be controlled from inside the house or my phone! Also a keyless entry option with a code gives so much more flexibility than a spare key. I love my camera views and notifications. The install technician was super nice and knowledgeable. I had multiple camera and sensors installed and everything took about 4 hours. They made sure everything is set up on my in-house controller and phone with my preferred setting options.

Spent all day at my Airbnb property (6 hours) on the technician to install 2 cameras. But they don’t even work or turn on. Now the loyalty team likes to put me on hold for hours and hours. So because of that, I will be canceling both homes.

Everything went well. Job done professionally and quickly. All my questions are answered and the system explained well to me. The representative came on time and finished in a timely manner. Every equipment installed to look nice. So far everything is working well. I am worried about customer service if something went wrong. According to my experience at my house system, they are very bad and it takes a minimum of an hour to answer.

Ryan bent over backwards to get our alarm installed. We had an extremely tight schedule and our internet wasn't in operation. But Ryan told us not to worry and that he would do a extra visit to finish the install when the internet connection was repaired. We are extremely happy now!

Landon ** installed my system and patiently went through paperwork that didn’t go through on my phone. He also was very helpful in my install because I need electrical service to get installed and he let my electrician figure out install while he was there so I can have a seamless installation and can have the best product completion.

Tech was great. System is outstanding. Love the new cameras. Plus it show the weather report on the new keypad. The app makes it easy to work. I really like the new system which is cellular base. That is one of the main reasons I switched from ADT. I had ADT for more than fifteen years.

My system is not working. I'm still using and paying Brinks. Jobs fine by half are never done right. The technical told me he will get Back to me up till now. I done think I'm having a good impression. I can't even download the app.

Experience as a whole was very good. Sales guys were very nice. Installer did a great job. Some things on our end didn't cooperate with install so will have to finish job at a later date. And wasn't an ideal time 8:30pm and the installer wrapped up at 10:15pm. (Only reason for not 5 stars.) System seems easy enough to operate even for me. And hope when get cameras installed will be even better.

We had a “Smart Home Pro” representative and well as maintenance technician in our home yesterday who were absolutely wonderful at their jobs. Their approachability as well as efficiency were top notch. The rep informed us of how the previous security system we had varied drastically from Vivint’s system and at the end of our consultation and quote, switching was a no brainer. Thank you so much to Stephen (rep) and Rene (technician) for stepping into our home and making us feel safer by the end of the evening.

Colton was an excellent representative for Vivint. He explained everything about the system and was the same person that installed everything. One of the best experience we have ever had installing a new system. Equipment is a little pricey but a definite upgrade from the old system we had with Brinks.

Jesse ** explained the Vivint security system thoroughly, was patient to respond to questions and listen to our security concerns and, in general, was a charismatic person who made us comfortable during the presentation. He presented the options and gave us pros and cons and helped us make good decisions. Once we decided to move forward with becoming Vivint customers, he installed all the equipment and followed up with clear instructions in how to use the system. As a former teacher evaluator, I was quite impressed with his teaching skills. As to the Vivint security system, we feel very safe and secure, the purchasing process was made easy and the payment method very convenient.

Alirio our tech was amazing. He did upsell us but he had good reason. This is our second home with Vivint and they have great service and products. We decided to go with them again because of the ease of using it and customer support.

This is my first time in years having home security services. The technology has come a long way, and I was impressed by the sales team that showed up at my door. I was intrigued by the offer, and even more surprised that the installation was occurring the same day. I was told that there wouldn’t be any upfront costs. Well, that’s the reason for the 4 star review, instead of 5. There was in fact a charge of $44, and an attempted charge of over $700 (a down payment on the $3000 system?). Fortunately I didn’t have $700 in my account, so it didn’t clear. Aside from this bit of dishonesty, everything else, including the installer, was great. I would highly recommend Vivint, just read the fine print, and don’t get blindsided.

My neighborhood is frequently inundated with walking salesman so to say I’ve crafted various ways to say no is an understatement. Tyler was friendly, non-pushy, and willing to walk away if I said so. This alone made me want to hear his pitch. His offer was good, the installation was great and so far I’m pleased.

He was knowledgeable, did everything in his power to give me everything that I needed. His explanations of the equipment was excellent. I was prompted to review before I ever even received the email that my equipment had been shipped. My mom is a customer, so I know I like Vivint, however, I am not impressed at the fact that I received multiple texts to review before I have even gotten the opportunity to properly review the service myself. I would consider asking for reviews after customers have had service for at least a month.

My technician was amazing, very thorough and detailed and patient with teaching me how to navigate through the new system. I am looking forward to moving fully in my new home so that I can access the new system at full capacity with my Wi-Fi hooked up.

The representative was very cordial and professional. My only disappointment was the technician, after he drilled a hole he left the wood chips in the floor and trash in the garage. It would have been a plus if he had cleaned up after himself.

Do not use Vivint for your home security. I had it installed 5 years ago. The cost is incredibly high and the customer service is awful. I called 5 months ago to cancel the service and after 45 mins of them trying to down sell me, and not giving me a confirmation of cancellation or telling me anything about what other steps I need to take, I said no thank you, please just cancel. Fast forward I'm still being charged and now they tell me I have an unpaid balance for the last two months, yes more than 3 months after I asked to cancel, they kept charging me. After another 55 min call, find out I have to email a special email (no were on their website) to cancel and it won't be effective for another 30 days. Biggest waste of time and money. Avoid subscription security services.

I would definitely recommend this service to friends and family. The staff members are knowledgeable and prompt with providing information on what to expect from their service and when it came to filling out forms online; the next step was explained.

From sales to install I couldn’t be more pleased. Outstanding service and so good to be away from the old antiquated ADT system. Cameras are better placed and much better reception. Excellent customer service before, during and after the sales and installation.

Install was excellent! Efficient and professional. However, cost of hardware is very expensive. Even though there is a higher cost the security coverage isn’t the same. The sales team should have done a walk through as I was lead to believe I would have the same coverage as the system that was being replaced.

My first scheduled installment was from 12 to 4, he was communicative regarding his ETA but as it got closer to 2pm and he still wasn't on his way. I figured he was very busy but he was getting to me till after 4, so I had to reschedule which worked out well for me anyway. My second scheduled installment was a bit annoying because I specifically, weeks in advanced, wanted 8 to 12 schedule and I thought everything was fine until the day before the scheduled installment. I was called to confirm my 12 to 4, which was absolutely wrong. I had to call a few times to get it fixed which took alot of time from my busy schedule which was what annoyed me the most. The day of installment, Miller U came in at 10-10:30, was very professional and patient with my inquiries. Everything was done in about 2 hours and it was explained to me very well.

Was unable to connect my Nest thermostat and my garage door to integrate in the same system while he was present, but I hope to be able to add them to the Vivint smart system to have all in one.

The guys that came to install our equipment took forever to get it switched out were at my house till 2:00 am and had to return the next day for another 8 hours. They were very nice however they didn’t explain how the equipment works. We like our new cameras way better then what we had but we can’t get the doorbell to work.

The service person Zachary is not knowledgeable about the services. He was late and did not show the first time. Rescheduled and he was 30-45 min late and then did not finish in a timely manner. Third rescheduled for the 3rd time and did not show or call.

Vivint has all the latest - video doorbell, door locks, thermostats, indoor and outdoor cameras, and so much more. My technician, Jeff was quick, smart, helpful, courteous, friendly and as pleasant as he could be. We have a second home and will be requesting that he be our installer!

Everyone that I associated with was amazing, but the timing was really bad. I had to reschedule twice because there was a scheduling error on the company's end. Yesterday, I was scheduled from 10AM to 1PM. The gentlemen didn't arrive till 3:30 pm. The first time, we had to just completely reschedule for a week later. Due to another scheduling error. The equipment and the personnel have been great, but the scheduling errors have been inconvenient. I don't mean to sound rude and I understand mistakes can happen but we are committing to a huge deal here with the solar panels and security system and you would think that there wouldn't be so many inconveniences.

Vivint is a great alarm system. Jon, our salesman was above and beyond in explaining the “ins and outs” of the alarm system and the company. My wife and I were getting concerned in the area we live in. We love the doorbell camera feature and the ability to speak to an agent from the master device. The accessibility from the app is also a huge convenience. Overall I would recommend going with this alarm system.

Personnel were very understanding and helpful on all technical info and guided us thru very patiently.. The Rep was very informative and patient with all questions.. The installation person was very helpful with apps and forms to be filled out.. Both very efficient.. We felt very comfortable working with both.. For elders trying to understand today technical present day data is sometimes confusing but they did a very nice job explaining process of use equipment.

The technician was vey thorough and explained what he did. He went over the instructions using the control panel. The cameras look great. I like the way the vehicle tracking devices work. The window and door sensors work great. I like the functionality of the glass break sensor.

He helped me understand what was going on with the acct. He did all he could to assist me and get it resolved hopefully. The billing is resolved but we found out I had 2 access I never knew. Was never told that once I upgrade and had done a loan they created another acct and that is where it all went wrong. He fixed it to where it's linked now.
