We signed up and 20 min later tech was here to install. From the sales team down to the install tech we have had great experience. We love the new doorbell. It's so nice not having phone go off every time a car drives by.

My new Vivint security system was installed today. Chaz was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and helpful explaining about all of my options. The installation was professional and looks great. The system seems easy to use. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Recently had the Vivint security system added to my home, I was a little skeptical because I had never heard of them. So, I did some research and I really like the product they showed me and its capabilities. The 4K and lights and recordings are second to none. Definitely worth the investment in deterrence and safeguarding your home.

My technician Kyle went above and beyond. He explained everything to me, let me write things down and demonstrated all features associated with my new system. I am forever grateful to him and Vivint and will absolutely recommend your company to others.

Salesperson Nelson C was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in presenting the system. The installer was also very considerate of my preferences, although my home layout presented some challenges. The system seems easy and straight forward to use. Would recommend to friends and neighbors.

I wasn't aware that I was being forced to finance 4000 from a company. I was under the impression that the fees and everything were being taken care of, then the total amount was $3,8... and some change. Next, I get a text to confirm 4k as the total amount we will be charged. I said, I disagreed but there wasn't much we could do so I consented.

David the sales rep, was extremely nice, personable, knowledgeable, and informative about everything. He was extremely accommodating as well and listened to what our needs were. He tried to sell us on certain things but was not overbearing and persistent about things we were sure we didn’t want or need. The installation techs were also very considerate and took pride in their work to make sure the job looked professional.

I have had a great experience so far from my rep. ET and the technician Oscar. Everyone's customer service was great. The both of them went above and beyond to make sure I will have the best experience. Keep up the great job!!!

The representatives of Vivint were respectful and patient. They took their time explaining the initial investment and then installing and explaining the equipment. Sale and installation were all a good experience! Installation crew were very professional and worked very hard. Sale person was not clear about the quote actually being an order for service. May have been something I missed however.

The sales representative explained all of the system features very well and made purchasing the package easy. The installing technician helped me find the best location for each sensor and guided me through the basics of using the system before he left.

Both workers were professional and put me at ease. John took a lot of extra time to answer my questions and help me understand how the system works. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work and the product! I am a very happy customer.

Rep was real thorough we got system and was installed same day. Everything was installed within a couple of hours. Getting things registered and filled out and paid for was quick as well. Installer did a great job of where we wanted things to be at.

The guy that came out to do the installation was exceptional. He went above and beyond to install equipment and was very neat. He answered all our questions and did not make us feel rushed. He really took the time to explain how the app worked and to make sure our cameras had a good view.

The technician was poor in manners and unwilling to help me download the app. He was racing out the door without me being able to fully access my security system. He would not help me free up storage space on my phone so I could download the app. It wasn't his job to free up my storage but it wouldn't hurt him to try. He was too adamant about not helping me.

The technician set up the system fast and he was very informative. He was trying to sell us everything he could sell for Vivint. Also, he was professional and had a pleasant personality. It was a good experience working with him today. We would recommend our family and friends to Vivint and to our technician.

I was home alone with my baby and these types of things always make me nervous, but from the get-go I felt so at ease with him and he knew the security system like the back of his hand, even when we had some issues through set up!

As a Female Veteran with PTSD, I feel so much safer. I'm going to upgrade other devices and services throughout my entire home!! I had a doorbell camera BUT this one blows it out the water! The camera view is amazing as I can see several houses that I could not see with my other doorbell camera.

Initially we had some difficulty getting our installation date set up, but once it was set up the service was wonderful. Our installation tech was knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. He took the time to walk us thru phone set up and overall use of the system.

The tech that set everything up was great but the scheduling and when you call in is terrible. Called to change the appointment. Texted and confirmed time and day before driving to the new house (1 hr and 1/2 away) only for the lady to change the day of the appointment instead of the time. Called and no one was willing to help or set up a time for that day. So had to make 2 trips because of the lack of communication. Not impressed with the consumer service side at all.

The agents were great, and the tech was very good. Our system is working well, some signal problems but nothing that we can't adjust. I like that the tech was very informative and went out on a limb to install in some awkward areas of the house. Overall the installation was great!

I recently purchased Vivint home security system and I couldn’t be more happier with my decision. The technician, Deren **, came on time as promised. Deren made the best recommendations for our safety and ensured that all bases were covered. He was very nice, approachable, patient, knowledgeable, and very thorough. I couldn't believe that Vivint actually did a same day installation, unlike the cable company. Also, the rep that came to my door, Nico ** was just so nice. We spent so much time just chatting and joking around. He never gave me the sense that he was in a hurry to get on to his next house.

Great customer service from both the sales person and the technician. Both very knowledgeable of the equipment. They even installed the security system in the same day. Cameras are crystal clear, sensors are on point and the best of it there was no need to make any holes in the house.

Sales rep was not very knowledgeable with info he told me. When call customer service got different answers. Also once equipment installed can't get direct contact with Vivint. Been calling for days. No answer. I've called several numbers and they all were the same auto voice system.

The Vivint doorbell camera is higher resolution than the Ring doorbell camera. Also, the Vivint doorbell camera shows a lot more area than the Ring doorbell camera. The security system is easy to use. If you’re looking for a security system, try Vivint.

We had excellent customer service from technician. Please reward him accordingly. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. The tech was on time, installed everything, and explained how things work. He was not overly talkative, which I prefer, but he got the job done in a timely manner.

Very pleased with service and installation of home security. Technician was very nice and helpful, only downfall it took a while for some equipment to download what was needed to get started. But overall I am very pleased with Vivint and my system. Still getting acquainted with system but overall it's great and happy my family is safe.

I talked the sales folks for Vivint and we came to an agreement of what I needed. The tech Connor called me later to confirm. Connor came to my house in the morning. He kept on getting me up and running. I feel safer knowing these cameras and the system has excellent quality.

The features work seamlessly together under one app, great user experience. The installation tech evaluated the home and adapted the needed features to best suit it. Great products, great service, great app. I would like to see better coordination between the order and the bill of materials to be installed. Some items were not included in the installation and there is a two week delay to come out separately and install them. Not the technician's fault - he was great.

Ethan is an easy guy to work with, he stayed on point and explained his product extremely well. I was his last appointment on a Thursday night at 9:00, and stayed until I felt ready to buy. Little did I know that as soon as I purchased my system, the install would happen right then?! 10:00 PM, that was cool. Sebastian was on site with tools and products in hand and that night my house was armed. He was fast, courteous and clean, and a really nice guy. I had a small issue the next morning, and Sebastian came back on a Saturday afternoon to quickly resolve it. I'm very pleased. Thank you guys for your work.

The whole process from signing up to implementation was so seamless and easy. My representative Angel ** was extremely helpful in getting me a package that fit my needs, but not over, selling me a product that I didn’t necessarily need. My technician Darryl was also very knowledgeable and super quick when setting everything up. The app and system are both so easy to use and love the technology. I made a switch from another local alarm company, and nothing compares to Vivint from the technology to the customer service. I’m so happy and feel safer already!

I really felt comfortable, with these 2 represented, they walked me through, the information. They were very respectful. Didn't have a problem understanding. What more can I say, they did of what I can see and tell, a good job. Good team.

Blake was excellent with setting up my new services with Vivint. He explained thoroughly and got me exactly what I asked for. He did a follow up call when I was ready to set up and was amazing. I’m now waiting on my products to ship. Hopefully they ship today and I receive them in a timely manner.

Our technician Ricky was absolutely phenomenal! He went above and beyond in everything he did during our install and was so thorough with walking us through how to use the system. He even took the time to get to know us personally to determine what cameras and sensors we needed in the new house. Can’t say enough good things about this young man!

Bill came out on his day off to do the installation for me due to have several break ins. He did a great job setting up and explaining the system to me. I would highly recommend and use this service for any additional homes that we have that needs a security system.

Technician was doing well at first. When he went to install the rear camera he drilled through the frame of the sliding glass door and shattered the pane of glass. He cleaned up most of glass but left all of the equipment boxes on my counter. Very dissatisfied with the installation

I purchased a new security system with expectations based on the sales person that presented quite a few challenges for the installing technician. I was really impressed with the technician’s ability and willingness to make it happen. Joseph’s mild mannered professional approach sealed the deal.

I was reviewing three firms to upgrade my security system including Vivint. I made an appointment for them to meet me and assess my current equipment and service and for Vivint to show me what they can do. The day before they were to visit with me they called and said they were too busy to spend time unless I was willing to have them install, sight unseen. As you can imagine, I canceled. If they cannot make time for me as a prospect, I cannot imagine how they would treat me as a customer who already paid the bill.

The representatives Mick and Bryton were very thorough and informative with explaining the systems. Advised that we were new homebuyers so wasn't sure if could work with the budget yet but they were able to provide first 3 months free to test out the system and decide if we want to keep it. I felt that was above and beyond customer service.

Representative was very courteous and provided information step by step to confirm. The process of transferring the account was completed successfully. She guide me on setting panel and application. It was great to deal with someone who was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Not a bad product, wish the tech would have called or texted me to let me know when he would show up (instead of arriving unannounced). Didn’t like how expensive all of the ala carte items were to purchase, could have used more explanation of how the system worked.

Overall I am pleased with the security system. The install and setup seemed a bit rushed. Things could be a little tighter and we are experiencing a small issue with the front door security lock. I do look forward to working with Vivint.

I’ve now installed this at both my home and my son's home and both installs went very well and I’m happy with what I’ve seen so far. The camera quality is fantastic and I love that the range of view is so much better than what I’ve had before. I also love how easy it is to add or edit other users.

He was out of shape, complaining about being tired…. He did not clean up after himself.. Put dirty hands on the wall and key pad, glass breaker… Damaged my exterior door, when drilling to place door contact… Drilled 2 extra holes in exterior brick, for cat 5 cable to exterior camera.. When ask to move camera location, due to creating blind spot in coverage, he told me he was done, call in to costumer service, have them reschedule… Installer was limited on camera placement, due to the step ladder, height…. Justin was not a professional installer… He need a do more training..

I can't hook it up and don't want to waste my time or money on something I don't want. I can't get a hold of anyone or anything to get help or to return this junk. How do I return this stuff and who do I contact to return it. I'm more than disappointed in this system and the way you have to set it up.

Everybody was very polite and well knowlegeable. They even went up and beyond to make sure me and my family had the best service ever. They made sure to explain the process and how to use the tech effectively. I would absolutely recommend the service to a family, friend or coworker.

Was told install would start about an hour after sales rep departed. It was delayed (No fault of the tech...stuff happens), but I would have appreciated a heads up on it. Since it started later than expected, install finished at about 9 pm.

I like the quality of the products and the ease of use!! Just got the system installed still learning how to use it and all its features! I like the connectivity with the internet also! I like the new touchpad features and the clarity of the cameras!

Lee my installer was very experienced and friendly 10/10. He work fast and efficient and explained everything in detail. He asked me if I had any concerns and questions and also show me how to operate the keypad and the functionality of my system.

Installer was able to come out Saturday morning install a touchscreen keypad, a secondary keypad by my garage entry door motion, sensors, window sensors, door sensors. Everything was done within two hours. Prompt and friendly.

When you call they ask you all your information to be transfer to someone else. There was a long wait time but Brandon was very pleasant, patient, so helpful and kind. I am so far very pleased with Vivint. I received the self install kit. It was very easy to follow and easy to setup. The only hard mount item was the doorbell camera which replaced the door bell button. That was only two screws: easy.

Customer service does not know how to display the calls and what the customer are getting attaining to. System Pattern is on the floor instead of on the wall. That is not good at all And I do not like that. Please explain to me why didn't I get a panel on the wall.

The camera quality is clear and I like the ability to review images. The upload speed is a little slow at times, however that may be due to my internet. The installation was within the hour of signing up and the installers were incredibly nice and respectful. Young but they knew what they were doing. They provided me with a multi outlet cover to accommodate my lack of outlets. My house is made of brick which isn’t the easiest to drill through but they did a great job! Very satisfied customer.

I was not made aware of a large deposit that. Was taken out of my account. I understand that monthly charge but after my approval of the alarm system I was not aware that they were taking out 494.00 dollars from my checking account.

Install was a nightmare and should have had more people for install. I asked them to come out and see what project entails and they told me they just come out with all product and handle at time of install. This led to a 12+ hour installation and multiple changes to what could go where. Be prepared and once product is complete the ease of use and technology is great.

So far it's been a very negative experience. Full install was supposed to take 4-5 hours at most. After 5 hours the install tech said he wasn't quite finished so we said he could stay a little later but had to be leaving by 7 PM at the very latest (install was supposed to be 12:00 to 5:00). At 7 PM tech is still working and we find out that he's only 1/2 way done; still has to do two outdoor cameras plus a smart deadbolt and 2 car guards.

Our sales representative AJ was very Helpful and explained everything in great detail. Our installer Sierra was great, she was very detailed in her explanation of the system and cameras. Really good customer service seems to be hard to find these days, but these two nailed it Ethel their service.

In accord with other reviews, which I have read in order to select a home security system, Vivint's on-line customer service was on several occasions fair at best and poor at worst. The equipment, at this point, seems good to excellent. The installation was cancelled on a first occasion (4/10/23) because the tech did not call or appear in the scheduled 4 hour afternoon window. On the 2nd scheduled installation date (4/13/23), the tech arrived early in the morning 4 hour window but failure of Vivint home office to have complete the necessary certifications forced the tech to correct the deficiencies, resulting in a 1 and 1/2 hour delay in installation. Thereafter the tech, Mr. Kerry ** was consistently helpful, informative, and expeditious in setting up the selected security system. His conduct redeemed the prior poor administrative performance..

I love my security system. Installation day was a disaster. At one point I had 2 guys here installing my system. The main guy treated me like I was dumb. Many holes in my wall that were caulked over so now white spots all over my house. Drilled a hole into part of my outlet that can not be fixed. The other guy walked on my new white carpet with his shoes. It took 6 hours to install 3 cameras a hub and a front lock. I was told I could use my same lock however I could not. Now my door has a white spot from where my old one was. I had so much anxiety and was so stressed. I did not know what was going on.

Contracted installers provide dates and erroneous information about services that Vivint does not honor. Review your contract carefully as you will be randomly charged fees that you are not responsible for. It will be up to you to challenge these fees and Vivint will request documentation. Cellular service is spotty at best. Customer service is pitiful- long wait times, poorly trained staff without the ability to provide actual remedies to issues without speaking with a supervisor- who will then try to sell you a more expensive package. Extremely disappointed with Vivint. Security promises are a sham.

I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything and the tech that came out appeared knowledgeable. My only complaint is that the tech did not have all the equipment on hand to finish the house. However he communicated it well and provided multiple solutions to fix the problem quickly.
