We had this at our last house then we moved and I tried a different brand of equipment. After a few months we went back to Vivint. The equipment is just better. We added more equipment this time. It's user friendly. Great technology. Wonderful technician. Easy installation. Would highly recommend.

Worked with Max on my purchase. He explained everything perfect and was very helpful with any questions I had for him. I can say I am very happy with my overall experience. One hundred percent would recommend signing up with Vivint. The cameras are super clear and easy to use. Also very fast and easy to access with your mobile device.

Was told didn't need internet! After installation the cameras can't be viewed from my phone unless I install internet?? Guy that sold it was completely wrong and we need some sort of money back to make this right.

Had a very knowledgeable service tech who certainly knew what he was doing. Also helpful for a nontechie to keep things easy. Unfortunately my internet service is slow in my area so connections take a while. But I like the service and equipment very much.

I am highly disappointed with customer service. You need to try to do better. Customer service is terrible. No one wants to work. The service is beyond bad and how you handle customers is sad. Am still angry. Been on phone for days. Y'all made a home appointment. I waited. Nobody came out. Then you don’t even call back on the drop calls ..

I left this company for a few years due to poor customer service. One day a rep called me and asked why I left. I went on to explain to him and his answer was how can we make it right.. At that moment my concerns seemed validated and I decided to try it again. The technician Fredy was excellent. He explained everything to me and made sure I was happy with the updated system before he left.

I am enjoying the recently installed alarm system. It has many upgrades that my previous system did not have (cameras, keyless locks, and an easy to use keypad). The technician that installed my system was very great. Answered all my questions and gave good instructions on how to operate the system. I give him a 10+. He was great!

Only had service for >24 hours, but the peace of mind so far has been worth it. Installation took a whole day but I got 360 coverage and added on once the installer arrived and we did a walk about. The App is super easy to use. Cameras are very clear and the sound picks up crisp.

Dylan was very professional and informative and sold me on Vivint system. Let me know the differences from ADT and Vivint and sold me to switch. He's very patient answering all my questions assuring me on my new contract. Made me feel secure about the new system and the contract and always responds when I have a question.

Worth zero stars! Signed up for the free trial, I canceled within my time frame. Have had to call 5 times to make sure cancelation was received. I received an email saying I will not be charged but noticed they did charge me. After yet another 2 phone calls and more than an hour they will not issue a refund until they pick up equipment which is booked out for over 2 weeks. According to THEIR notice of cancelation if they do not pick up equipment within 20 days of the date of your notice of cancelation I may retain or dispose of the goods without any further obligation. I was told today if I do not schedule for equipment pick up I will not be receiving my refund. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

A1 service from the time I called to inquire all the way through installation. Kemrick took time to explain each step in the process and answer all of our questions. This young man is fast, friendly and I would recommend him. He has so much patience with me since I’m a baby boomer. He took his time showing me how to use the App. Right now I’m looking at all the cameras seeing who’s walking by lol lol. I feel safer now that they are up. I should have did this a long time ago. I was so worried about having holes drill in my walls and wires showing but Justin said “it’s better to have a little bit of wire showing and knowing your daughter and you are safe." The light bulb turned on wow. That powerful.

They did a great job on the install, just didn’t clean up anything. They left all of the drill dust at all places they drilled, they stepped all over my wife’s flowers to include putting their tools, ladder and feet directly on them without trying to avoid it at all.

Technician was very good at explaining system and features. Also helped me set up app on wife’s phone. Had an issue with first panel he hooked up but didn’t let that bother him. Took his time to make sure everything was working correctly before he left. Salesman was thorough on explaining all aspects.

Mr. ** was the technician that came out to my home and install my new system. Mr. ** was very professional and gave great insight on how to work the system after installing. He also informed me of other features I could possibly look into for having on my home for safety coverage. Bottom line, he was very polite and friendly to have in my home.

I feel silly paying for what alarm system we had before with ADT. We were straight up in the dark ages. Equipment and options are soooo much better. And the devices actually get “smarter” with time. Loved my tech, he was fantastic. Wise, kind, patient and went above and beyond. Really awesome experience all around.

The salesman was very nice, but he kept changing on how long or days we get for free. He also didn't tell me that I'd be paying for the equipment and it being financed. Tech kid was great. We had a problem with our door bell but he found a way to bypass it. He showed me how to use the panel as well.

Gerard came to our house and helped us out with renewing our security system. We really like what he put together. He was friendly, polite, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure that everything worked and that we knew how to use it correctly. It’s clear that he really wants to leave the customer happy.

OMG! I should have read the reviews first. I am experiencing much of the same. It has been 3 weeks and I have not had all of my equipment installed. There is a big disconnect in customer service and the technicians. The technicians are horrible with time management and apparently think that customers should wait all day on them. They have cancelled my appointment 3 times. I have spoke to supervisors who promised a tech and still no luck.

The sales representative was very polite and knowledgeable about Vincent! He expressed his commitment to the company and his clients! He took the time to listen to our needs and concerns about Vivint’s cost, products offered, payment plan and installation. The technician was also very knowledgeable and polite! He offered his advice and made suggestions that would work well in our home.

The people working were very unprofessional and left all the mess in my house. They broke the power wire for my doorbell and now I am without the doorbell and have to go through calling the electrician and all the trouble. Besides this the quote given over the phone was way different from what given on the day of installing. Had to get it fixed. Chipped paint on my window while putting the sensors and didn’t close my windows once installing the cameras upstairs. I am still wanting to give it a shot as my friend recommended it to me

The installation was quiet, clean, and quick. The (2) technicians were informative and kind. The experience did not feel like I was being pressured into purchasing services I truly did not need. I will definitely recommend Vivint Security to all family & friends! Very happy with moving forward with Vivint.

The entire process of signing up with this company has been great. The installation was top tier and by far the best I’ve had. The tech was super knowledgeable, friendly, and made me comfortable! I would 100% recommend this company and my technician, Justin! If I could give him 10 stars I would!

Dominic was great. He communicated everything to me from beginning to end. He called me on his way to let me know what time he would be showing up. He showed me the package I signed up for and He gave me all my options. He allowed me to pick where I wanted all my cameras to be and how I wanted the deter areas to be set up. The camera installation was easy and quick. I would recommend Vivint and Dominic to anyone.

The service was great yesterday from Ryan and Josh, the service was excellent and they were very friendly and explained how everything works camera wise. I would definitely recommend others to try Vivint, if we happens to move we’d know who to call to set our cameras back up. Thank you.

Super nice and very understanding. Helped me out with everything I needed to know about the cameras and the panel even showed my roommates how to use the panel and put it into lock mode. The set up was really fast. He got everything done in about 2 hours.

Salesperson insist a lot. Don’t understand what NO means, technician mess up my brand new appliance because he used it to get on top and run the wire, we did not agree to that. He ask for a folding chair and we give him that. Never ask if he could get on top of my dryer.

This is my great mistake to choose Vivint. The guy name Bryan is such a liar and fraud. Never, Never, Never gonna recommend anyone. I ask him if it gonna record 24/7. He says yes and later it was just showing clip and I called him and he told he forget to add dvr and as it is his fault he told me he gonna pay half if I gonna pay Dvr and after I pay I asked him to pay me half and now he says he can’t until I refer him someone. This is the worse experience.

Hunter was awesome! He was really friendly and he did a great job installing the system. I just moved here so I had boxes everywhere and he was very respectful of my stuff when it was in the way. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them. My dog liked him too, so doggie approved!

He was very nice and knowledgeable. Talked me through everything and made sure I understood everything before he left. Very easy to work the system and now I feel that my family will be safe here or when we are away. Highly recommend this system to everyone. And it is affordable.

My technician was Eric and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The company seems good so far and I’m hoping that I don’t have any issues down the road. It seems easy to understand but we shall see. The initial set up went smooth. I think Eric definitely knew what he was doing and was a friendly guy.

Dom (sales) was very knowledgeable and transparent from the start of our initial conversation. I didn’t feel rushed to make a decision but I wanted to move forward because I saw the value the system, software and service would bring. The technicians were friendly, quick and Ben (technician that was there for most of my install) became a favorite of my kids. The software and integrations are worth the price and peace of mind. Never will I look back on this purchase.

The representative of Vivint home security system. Were all professional and had the most respectful for the homeowners. They were kind and pleasant to work with. I would recommend your company to anyone that is looking for a home security system. They were on time and they installed the system the way we wanted the system to be installed. They had great suggestions as to where the sensors should be installed. They were very helpful on the setup of the system, and they walked us through the entire process and how use the system.

Tech, Doug **, was just excellent. He was thorough, careful, thoughtful. He was patient in a process that seems designed to test the patience of both tech and consumer. Doug offered options, made suggestions and was professional throughout. The equipment appears excellent. If it performs as well as Doug, Vivint will have been a great choice.

Providing excellent customer service and walked me through the purpose of each device installed and how to use them as well. Also was able to complete installation in an acceptable time frame. Marty and the tech that came were professional, courteous, and informative. The equipment seems top notch. I'm glad to be changing from my old service. The app seems very easy to use and I love all the features provided. I feel much more protected. This system also makes my kids feel secure and we got much more for the same money.

So we got our system installed 3 days ago. We had an issue with our door's lock not working on our panel or our phones. It took them literally 10 min to reboot everything it get it working again! We definitely recommend other people to give them a try! You won’t regret it. Very good Customer service!

From sales to installation, the service was polite and fast. The installation was quick and the installer got my input on everything. Overall, it was an incredibly good experience. I’m very happy with the product. After we closed the sale, a technician was on site that evening to install. Overall, incredibly impressed with this company.

He was very knowledgeable about the system and also very nice, relatable & easy to communicate with. He made it make sense money wise as to why we needed the system to protect our home. It’s a lot of bang for your buck and will be utilized for years to come.

The planning was better than the first time I have Vivint several years ago - it never worked properly. It does now. This is also a simpler system to use, the user experience so far has been quite good. The user interface (UI) is good as well, though I have to nitpick at the UI when going online - that is not quality stuff, and rather annoying given today's software capabilities.

The installation tech for Vivint was amazing. He installed all the equipment and was done on time. Because, I had to leave my house at a certain time. Plus he taught me how to use the equipment. I had just moved in and he even cleaned up afterwards. Because there was a little dust on the floor from him working. The sales representative was respectful and knowledgeable of all the equipment that Vivint sales for the security that I purchased.

The consultant and the installer were both amazing. Had excellent customer service. They both made sure that we understood everything both leaving and even left their numbers to call if we had any questions. Even after the consultant, the installer recommended removing some items that was not compatible to our house. He was on time and respectful.

Fast, Fair, and Quality installation. I was contacted at 2pm and had the system installed and operational before 6pm. They were in the area and they compared their service to a cheetah or a falcon. A bit of an exaggeration but fair when compared to business and installation. Very friendly and knowledgeable sales person and their installer was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a security system.

The installer was excellent and did a very good job. He really focused on the details and helped us with some decision making. When he completed his work he did a good job of cleaning up behind himself. I would definitely recommend him and I am very pleased with the job he did! When he completed the install, he walked us through how to use the system and assured us that we knew how to use it.

I really like not worrying about no power and the system doesn't work like others. The price and cameras are a great addition. The representative are great and knowledgeable to what we have. Kyle was a great seller, he did point out some great things from our previous company that was alarming. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The installer was amazing, he was so patient. It did take a long time to change everything out. I hope I love the new system.

Just one day in, but so far, Vivint's equipment and service seems head and shoulders above ADT. Luis and Josh were very helpful, prompt, and professional. And within 24 hours of install, everything seems to be working like it should. It’s also much easier to adjust and setup than ADT.

I needed an alarm system for my house and after shopping around, I decided on Vivint for several reasons. The salesperson was not pushy at all, which I really appreciated because other companies kept trying to get me to give a credit card before I was ready. When it came time for installation, Zach, the technician, exceeded my expectations. He was super professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. His expertise made the installation process smooth and stress-free. I'm very satisfied with my decision to go with Vivint.

It's been great other than the detection zone, the doorbell rings by itself sometimes, and the doorbell volume is very low even with adjusted volume. I wish I could've trade out the thermostat with another camera or something because it isn't need or used. I was told my fingerprint lock could be sync with the system but it could not so that is disappointing.

Vivint offers the best in alarm system technology and service. My family and I feel well protected. My wife especially appreciates the security it brings. I give 4 stars because about a year and a half ago we sold our home and bed to move in with in-laws for a period of time. During that time I tried to cancel and even after following the exact procedures for canceling, Vivint still charged me for several months. It was a real battle trying to get our money back.

I received the absolute best service from sales to install. Everyone was professional and informative. The install was painless and the tech was thorough. We walked through to confirm all the right placements of the products and after he was done, ensured I was comfortable and informed about my product. I am very happy and satisfied with my new system.

Our installer (Aaron) was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about any and all questions and equipment. Very polite and respectful. I will be recommending Vivint in the future. We also appreciate the easy to use system. The accessibility of the app as well as the availability of reaching someone at Vivint is reassuring for someone that is not specifically technical.

Install person was polite and very understanding to my needs. Was very helpful in showing myself how to use the product and features. Happy with what I got so far but only been 3 days so I could write more if it had been 3 months since install.

From first impression through completion of installation, my experience with the guys at Vivint changed my opinion of door knocking sales, this is American Exceptionalism. To be honest I have developed a thick resistance to door to door sales because of previous experience with bad actors, and this past nearly prevented me having a safer future. I have already recommended this platform to family and friends.

Overall, and very happy with the experience, however when I received and had time to sit and read the contract, I was told in the beginning that if I had someone come install it today, meaning the day of my install, I would not be charged a install fee and there is an install fee on the Application that I received via text message and I have been trying to get in contact with the sales agent and so far he has not been able to return my inquiry to me

Reyna was excellent….. thorough and explaining along the way and answering our questions and aesthetics concerns about camera placement. We are happy so far except for the smoke detectors which have a green light that blinks all night long, and being in the hall just outside of the primary bedroom we will have to address this with the technical advisor that is due to come today as installation was yesterday.

He took his time going over things with me and I appreciate that he is awesome. Jesus was prompt. Efficient. Very hard-working. A really nice guy.

Quincy did an amazing job when installing our security cameras and explaining how everything works. Both of them had a great attitude and answered all of our questions. I'm very disappointed with my experience with Vivint so far. My salesperson has demonstrated very poor communication and follow-through, making this process extremely frustrating. This has been the most stressful thing I've dealt with lately, and I expected better service. I wish the sales team would be more honest and knowledgeable about what they can or cannot offer. Clear communication and transparency are essential, and unfortunately, this has been lacking. I hope Vivint takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

The gentlemen who sold us the service were very professional and personable. The installer was great and answered all our questions. The installation looks good. At 1:30am the same night, the camera in our backyard caught someone scanning our backyard with a spotlight. No one entered the backyard but it was really good to know. That made it worth the purchase alone. I will enjoy the peace of mind it provides.

He made short work of installation and verified everything was working. Before he left he walked me through how to operate all the equipment. I can't speak to service after the sale as it was just installed less than 2hrs ago.

The technician who installed our equipment was fabulous. He went above and beyond to troubleshoot our equipment and make sure we got everything we needed, taken care of!

Both the rep and tech was polite, knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Nice peoples and easy and quick setup. These guys was cool and awesome. They travel the neighborhoods to keep them safe and protected.

The young man did a good job. He committed in how he was surprised how good my house looked when he came inside. He wasn’t impressed with the outside. I thought that wasn’t necessary to say. But he did a good job and he cleaned up after his self. I appreciate that.

So far we love it! It allows us to have a more secure home and the process was easy and installation went smoothly for our home that doesn’t have much access to outlets for outdoor cameras! We love our system so far and my husband is in the oil field so he can see the cameras and all from the field which helps him feel better too!

Isaiah is very knowledgeable of all the products. Nick is very knowledgeable on helping us to decide where to place the cameras and monitor.

We are very pleased with Vivint. We have had it at our main home for 13 years, and it is excellent. I would have rated our experience with 5 stars, but we were treated like we were brand new customers with all procedures, forms, credit checks, etc. with no consideration for our history of paying on time for 13 years. And our sales Rep. did not explain all the additional steps we would have to do later, after being told by him everything was completed and the actual installation was the only thing left to be done.

Dario was excellent. He explained everything to me. He had to do my job at the last minute, but didn’t rush the job. I will feel much safer now that I have all this protection. Now I hope I remember all the instructions. So now my whole house is protected, not just my front door.

The installer was very professional. He arrived in a timely manner. He was knowledgeable about the service. Yeah, also explained, and showed me how equipment worked. He also helped me to download the app on my phone and walk me through how to operate it from my phone, he was also kind.

Dom and Tim went above and beyond yesterday while setting up my home security system. I not only feel safe now but while they were installing they were patient, kind and gentle. Install Security System with camera/Cell phone capability. Would recommend this system, and Vendor. Installers were knowledgeable, worked well together. I started using Vivint Home security and was impress for high technology and reasonable price. They installed outside cameras with this light that follow those that walking around. Very nice. Also a window break alarm, the control panel, front door lock, garage door remote control, thermostat, a lot of stuff. Thanks.

Lost my job, couldn’t afford the service anymore. When trying to access the panel I’m unable to, and when I call for help they don’t help because the service is not active. If you buy this equipment and stop paying the monthly service fee. Then you will just have a brick.

Ernest (Rep) was very thorough and knowledgeable as to the company, and products. His advice was very helpful as to how we could upgrade our system. The service rep, Luke, was quite patient and informative about the process. Both men were very respectful. Just because of the aforementioned and the character we noticed in both young men, made us retain the good feeling about the company (from when we first inquiry, purchased, and now upgrades). Great service from the techs that were sent out. Connie did a great job with setting everything up as well as training her trainee. Very efficient and helpful. Would recommend to anyone I know buying a home and needing a security system installed. Everything was set up correctly and each piece of equipment I was briefed and educated on.

The guys that came out to install my alarm system were very professional. However, once they were done. They sat outside of my home talking for about a half hour parked in front of my lawn trash bags. Causing the trash pickup guys to bypass my house because my trash was blocked by Vivint vehicle. My trash had to sit there another week before being picked up. I was pissed. Also, they never gave me a sign to put on my yard nor the stickers to go in my window. When I called, they had one of the technicians to bring my stickers, but I still didn’t receive my sign for the yard.

Starting from the salesman Seth **, he was professional & not at all pushy or condescending. My apologies for not remembering the installer's name but he too was professional & even policed up his mess. This is something I’ve been wanting to do myself but taking into account the time it would take me to do it versus the time I’m actually home & having to download some Chinese app. This was a no brainer. Love the fact that the system is a POE with WiFi bridge instead of just WiFi. Will definitely recommend.

Andy was awesome and was able to set everything up quickly and safely. He walked us through how to use all of the equipment and left the house very clean. Doug was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process of our installation. He was communicative before even stepping into our home and continued to update us about what he was doing throughout the day. The technician that came out to my home was wonderful. He was quick to answer any questions and was polite and knowledgeable in his work. Vivint itself is where things are lacking. Good security system but doesn't seem up front about credit checks, monthly payment, and the things that are really on your bill.

Martin was too persistent with selling your product! He refused to accept no as an answer; almost to the point of harassing. Martin showed up at my house the very next day after I purchased your product and insisted that I find more customers for him as if your product was given to me for free. While Martin was at my house (hours) he used my restroom to defecate and insisted on vaping in my home after I outright told him no. Moreover while the HVAC tech was at my home. The HVAC tech could not fix my AC unit because Martin was trying to push your product. While I respect Martin’s desire to make sales he needs to know his limits.

My family and I are very happy with the system. It is impressive how good and smooth are the images projected by the cameras. The seller Santiago described to us how the system worked and we fell in love. He also gave us a very good offer. Highly recommended for all families who want to protect their home.

Both men were extremely professional and kind. They were able to describe their jobs and what they did perfectly and I could not have asked for any one better than those 2. At the end of the whole thing I was left satisfied and more importantly I learned that there are still decent companies out there who believe in customer care.

The tech was amazing! It was raining very badly, he was still patient and installed everything perfectly. Everything works amazing. He showed me how to use app and showed me how to work doorbell camera and all the cool things I can do with it and told me that even if power goes it would work up to 14 hours, amazing service.

Just wanted the doorbell mounted on the wall outside the gate door and not on the inside of the gate door because where the doorbell is currently positioned we will not be able to see the person standing outside my front door which the first point of entry. Everything else is good so far.

I am going through a rough time with my mom dying and was not always nice throughout the whole process. I’m sorry for that. We are enjoying the system so far and are considering adding services on to our current plan. I have yet to explore that but would like more information on that. I like how easy it is to lock and unlock the door and the cameras are amazing in quality!

I loved the tech Ray and his explanation of the service, products and other products that are available. Great experience. When looking at the email I found it could have been free install and I noticed I will need 2 more cameras. I will try to get those next month.

Definitely above average quality of equipment and software. Definitely have a wish list of features I would like to see, but overall very impressed with the capabilities. Pricing seems reasonable especially at the higher end. Premium quality gear and service upgrades seem to be minimally impacting the monthly cost. DVR service for camera review is reasonable at 5 bucks a month, but it adds up if you have multiple cams. I would be ok with SD cards for full res and just a 4-up split-screen recording on the cloud DVR. I have 4 cams and it feels like paying 5 bucks a month for each one is a lot.

From purchase of the service, it was only hours until the install was complete. Professional courtesy was consistent throughout. Associated hardware & software platforms are easy to use. The expansion of benefits and cost analysis per service was thorough and comprehensible. Would recommend for others looking for a comprehensive home security solution.

Very happy with the monitoring of the exterior cameras. Much better system than my previous monitoring system that provided no cameras. It provided a panic button for my elderly family member. Ease to use and monitor all cameras with the smart phone. Looking forward to add more monitors and cameras to the system.

My only bad comment is that there is no instruction manual for the equipment, it is absolutely necessary! The salesperson was very courteous and did not push us to sign up for the system. The install person was so sweet and did a great job in explaining how to use the system. Particularly because we are seniors and are not computer savvy. We will have to see as time passes how we like all the security equipment and its usage.

The work has not been completed. None of the outdoor pro cameras have been installed as of this writing. Tech couldn’t give definitive day or time of return. I will update this post when work is completed. The tech is a friendly and easy to talk to person. The parts of the system (door bells) and panel work well.

I was very satisfied with the whole experience, from the explaining of the products to the installation of the products. Nick went above and beyond and wasn’t pushy like other salesmen. He was very down to earth, very professional, and he made sure everything was taken care of before he left. He also came back to do a follow-up just to make sure that everything was still running smoothly. I love the fact that as soon as I decided to buy, the technician, François was on the way. He made sure that everything was up and running before he left, and asked me if I had any questions before leaving. Both of these men did a great job, and I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. It’s only day two of using the Vivint system and I love it! I’m glad I made the switch!

I'm very happy with my new security system. I feel safe and protected. My whole house can be viewed from my phone when I'm home and/or away. I would recommend this system 10 out of 10 times. It's worth the investment for the peace of mind to know your house is protected and monitored.

The regional manager that came to my door was a young, energetic and intelligent man who helped me see all of the wonderful benefits of this system for my home, including a significant reduction in my HOS premiums. I am a tough customer, but this system is top-notch, with high tech cameras, microphones and an electric central control panel where I can see what's going on in front, in back, and on the porch all at the same time. Very impressed and very economical!
