I recently had the pleasure of using Vivint security company, and I must say, their customer service is excellent. From the moment I contacted them, their representatives were friendly, patient, and went above and beyond to address all my concerns. When the service technician arrived at my home, I was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. They assessed my security needs thoroughly and provided insightful recommendations tailored to my specific requirements. The technician demonstrated expertise in installing and configuring the security system, ensuring everything was set up correctly.

I have Vivint replacing all my Wyze cameras and doorbell, which died within 4 days of each other after exactly one year, for a total of 8 pieces. They were done 2 months ago. I also have this new system replacing ADT, because my monitor on my ADT system died about 6 weeks ago, and I could not get it up and running. It was 8 years old. It has quit a number of times. ADT no longer makes this unit and always wants me to upgrade. They haggle me about repairing it, though it’s under warranty. I paid $150 for the repair the last time. Their service man told me one time that their upgrade wasn’t very good. Therefore, I contacted Vivint two days ago.

Jorge the salesman and Michael the installer were professional in both presentation and explanation of the system. Jorge did an evaluation of my needs and what I was comfortable with for a secure system. Michael came on time and made the effort explaining how it all worked and made sure I understood. He also said to contact him and the company if I had any issues. I’m happy with my choice.

To begin with, the best approach ever by a representative when reaching me at my home. Very understanding of my needs and ready to prepare an offer with numbers right away. Best option ever. I was with Vivint before, and now I am back to happy with a user-friendly service and equipment. I am super happy and extremely grateful for the quick installation and availability of support and not redundant communications.

Great experience from start to finish! Fantastic sales rep and smooth installation. It’s refreshing not be overly sold, and having the team prioritize your needs. On time. Friendly. Professional. Used this company to switch out ADT. Their system died on me after. Couple years and they would not work with me to correct the problem. Couldn’t be happier to be with this company and their updated software and system.

The Vivint system came with the home we purchased. We added additional cameras, but they kept failing, despite 5 technician visits. We decided to purchase another system in 2020 and I emailed Vivint to cancel my account (as was the indicated way of informing them). In the beginning of 2023, I started getting invoices for monthly fees. I have now tried to cancel my account since April 2023. I was first told, I could only cancel at the end of July 2023, since the contract ended then and to call on one specific day. I called, but was informed that I needed to send an email, which I did. I have now had monthly invoices and monthly calls with them, each time being assured my account is closed, when it hasn't. I suggest staying far away from this company and their customer service.

Sales rep Carson is perfect. Was able to convinced me to get the service. Good job. I know how hard it is to convince homeowners and use your two legs walking around the community. Technician Emman is perfect as well. Fast installation. Would definitely recommend your company. For now since I just got the service, I hope that it will stay with my expectation. 5

Joseph gave us an amazing deal to get with Vivint, we had already had in mind to get with Vivint and he just made it way more easier, installation guys did a great job as well, no noticeable holes, awesome job with both sides. We have two flashing cameras, doorbell, and glass breakers. Everything works amazing.

The salesperson, Mitch, explained everything very well. The installer, Caleb, were very professional and personable. Waited for me to get back to the house from church to finish the install and go over things with me so I could become familiar with the system. Friendly and knowledgeable people who got the system up and running very efficiently.

Very happy so far on my experience with Vivint as oppose to the last company I was dealing with. With this new company’ Vivint they have their own technician. The last company I was with didn’t have their own technicians so my service was down for 2 months. I called vivint. Someone was there the next day so now I’m good.

Installer did good job verifying everything was installed without a mess and to our liking. He answered all of our questions and also did the due diligence of giving suggestions and explaining what other clients do since we are relatively new to the home security world. I appreciated his overall professionalism and I would definitely recommend him to other people.

I was referred to Vivint by my MIL - she was over the moon happy with the service and the install. After a weird experience with a person in our backyard, we took her recommendation and requested to have a security system installed. The sales rep on the phone was nice, but the interaction felt forced/not authentic. However, we were still very interested in the system and excited to get it installed.

We had the most amazing representative at our house to install our security unit. His name was Benjamin, he was so very kind and so efficient. He exceeded our expectations completely. Gage and Raymond were great!! Patient, helpful, gave clear instructions - very thorough. Our situation was a bit more complicated - these guys are very competent and knowledgeable- and relatable. They checked all the equipment, explained the app, answered our questions and were very considerate and polite. They notified us 30 minutes ahead and we’re prompt and efficient.

I would like to commend Mike, the Vivint tech for his good attitude and professionalism. The ordering process and scheduling was also was also easy and the tech showed up in the agreed window. I would recommend Vivint to any other customer that may want a new security system in their home.

I was referred by my son in Stratford, Connecticut. I saw an advertisement offering a special here in Virginia, my husband and I decided to call. We were pleased with Mr. Austin ** the salesperson. He explained the system as well as answered our questions. The installer Chris ** explained the process of installation and how to use it. So far we are we are pleased, it’s only been a few hours since installation.

My experience is superb! I enjoyed the technician and the equipment! The simplicity of the usage of the equipment! The explanation of how to use and the benefits of the system blessed me!! Finally a company that still believes in quality customer service. Josh was friendly, efficient and thorough. He explained everything in detail instead of giving me the "It’s really simple" line. My only complaint would be the long contract requirement being that I purchased the system for a rental. Thankfully I was assured that I would be able to transfer my equipment and service to my new location.

All three gentleman who I seen today were super polite and to the point! The one man who installed the equipment did it quickly and made sure I understood everything before he left! I will definitely be recommending Vivint to my friends and family who are looking for security systems or cameras.

The installer was very patient and professional. He took the time to explain the process. I had difficulty with the signature process and he took his time with me. I would recommend him. Please send me the Vivint stickers he did not have any. The installer also recommended that I don’t remove the old cameras because of possible electricity issue.

Activated service yesterday on equipment I own from y’all. They couldn’t get it working, entered my information wrong, spent 1 hr 45 mins getting nothing accomplished on the phone, just transferred around. Awful. Buyer's remorse. Please cancel service. I don’t want to continue with a company that can’t get the basics correct.

Mike P. Did my installation and everything is perfect. He went above and beyond for us. He made sure I had everything I needed In my package. He cleaned up after himself. He took the time to go over all the features on both the monitor and my phone. I will most definitely recommend this company!!!!

Dell was EXTREMELY helpful and patient through our installation process. We are in a new home with several things that are not yet in place. He did an excellent job taking the time to explain our options and run through scenarios so that we were able to make informed decisions on placement, bonus features, future potential additions, and overall safety of our family. It was clear he was not in a rush, as he took as much time needed before leaving to ensure our system was operating properly and we were happy with choosing Vivint. He solidified our choice in Vivint and made our experience easy, comfortable, and overall very much worth its value. I recommended him to three close friends due to the confidence he instilled on our security system.

I inherited a house that had the Vivint system in it but after a thorough inspection we realized there wasn't a motion detected and the tech said it would be $100 to replace it but I thought with a new system it came with one so I have a system with no motion detector therefore I felt the technician purpose was to be sure the person in the home felt secure but I as a homeowner didn't get that from him.

Heard about Vivint online and liked the reviews so gave them a chance. I have yet to be disappointed! The tech who installed everything was very personable and did a great job explaining everything I needed to know about what I was getting and what to expect moving forward. I would recommend to anyone looking for some sort of security system.

Aside from a few glitches the installation went well. Our only negative comment would be that we are not overly technologically savvy & the installer spoke very quickly & we weren't able to work through the demo. We believe he may have been running late for another appointment. Our only options now is to print an operating manual and go through it page by page to review & teach ourselves how to best utilize our new system.

The serviceman knocked on my front door at 1730. He installed the control panel, a security camera, and two motion detectors. I changed the passcode to the one I wanted, and the system is exactly what I hoped it would be. I am pleased with the prompt arrival and expedient service. Thank you.

I really loved the in person service and quality of equipment. Don’t like the mystery behind pricing and subscription plans. Our Technician was very helpful and honest with our discussion making and flexible with our recommendations. I would recommend Vivint to friends and family. The quality of the equipment is at least four of five stars.

Installing a new alarm system with new doorbell camera and sensor for the doors. Smoke detectors and new key pad. Hot water heater sensor to check for water damage. Door sensors for back door, hallway door and front door. Recording videos for the front door and doorbell ringer. Camera on cell phone for viewing and talking to someone at the door.

Drew our service provider was excellent to work with and highly recommend him to anyone in need of security installations. Overall we believe Vivint will provide us with the home security and protection that we need. Drew explained everything very clear and showed us what we needed. Overall we are very happy with the work and service that was provided.

The entire installation was seamless. I had questions regarding billing and the technology and all of them were answered by the customer rep and tech rep respectively. Evan (the tech rep) did a great job with the installation and with explaining how the system worked. He was very professional, friendly, and quick to work. Great experience overall!

I repeatedly stated my goals very clearly. Was consistently told what I actually need, and what was installed is not what I needed or asked for. I now get to pay for a system that in no way satisfies our goals of installing a security system in the first place, plus I get limited access because they don’t work properly if you don’t have a specific type of router, which doesn’t work with our internet provider. All of this would have been great information to provide before drilling all over someone’s house and getting them to agree to pay thousands of dollars. If you can’t provide the requested services, don’t lie to get the sale; integrity is not in the employee handbook.

The installation team was very professional and neat. Explained all and every aspect of the system before leaving the house. They were very patient with my wife who had to have everything explained to her more than once.

Very quick and thorough with the home installation! Elias was very knowledgeable to where to place the cameras. Super nice and efficient. I didn’t have any concerns. Only downside is that Vivint doesn’t install after 6pm on weekdays or on Sundays so it was very hard for me to accommodate and adjust my schedule.

They did a great job, I'm not sure how it works but we had to haul out all the boxes and do the clean up after install. Other than that it was a great experience, very friendly from the sales team to the install team. The install team took the time to make sure everyone understood how to operate the security system.

Representative lied about cost. Very shady business. Not up front with customer. I have called several people times to reach customer service. No success. Can not get through. I am attempting to cancel this service immediately 11/4/2023 within 3 day period. Very difficult getting a hold of someone. I will do all I can to make people aware of Vivint a horrible experience.

The whole installation process went as well as to be expected. Rob ** was the reason for this, he was very professional, easy to understand and very knowledgeable. The text alerts really helped with this process also, Rob was able to communicate well ahead of time and was prompt on the day of installation.

The installation was thorough and without issue. The system is not bulky and adds curb appeal to the exterior of my home. Pete did an excellent job installing my Vivint camera system, my doorbell lock, my carbon monoxide sensor and garage sensor. He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything along the way. He did a very good job teaching me how to use the Vivint app. I would highly recommend him.

It was very good install from David, he installed a garage door opener, a thermostat, a doorbell, a motion sensor, and the 7 inch hub. He did it in a timely manner and answered all of my questions that needed answered. He also explained all of the equipment thoroughly and also provided a number that I could call if I had any questions.

The tech was very pleasant. However, he didn't ask where to install so it was placed at his eye level. I'm tall and would like it at my eye level. He said the cord wasn't long enough. The chime box I'm to replace. As of now, there's no bell. I didn't get the Vivint sticker.

Had an incident on Halloween night. Called Vivint Nov 1 because the ring we had wasn't doing its job. Tech came out Nov 2 and did whole house installation in two hours. Tech was very thorough in his work and installation.

Don’t know I called and I got the service. I asked for the service that they said they were going to give me. It was granted to me. The tech was on time. He was reliable. He was knowledgeable. He cleaned up at this self. He is very polite. He made me very satisfied that I chose this company to receive services from. I bragged about it. Now my daughter wants to service, thanks.

I was quoted one price and when the Tech came it was totally different. I wasn’t explained the deal(s) completely. I don’t like doing business like this. That’s why I get names of people I talk to and ID if available. No one said nothing alike. If you work for the same company across the board it should be the same. The tech Joseph was excellent. If I could you would receive a zero.

Larry ** was wonderful and very helpful. I definitely recommend Larry and Vivint. Larry was very knowledgeable about all the equipment. He was very professional and nice I couldn't have asked for a better person. Vivint should understand that Larry is a great employee to have. The installation was fairly quick and painless.

Because we haven’t yet moved to the Palm Springs house where this system was installed we had a friend who does live there let Josiah **, our tech, in the house. Working with Josiah ** remotely was easy. He recommended installing additional devices that made sense and was clear about the change in costs. He was able, patient and clear about how to configure the Vivint Home mobile app. I’m happy so far with the service provided.

The installer was 25 mins late. He was rude and unprofessional. At one point when I was trying to ask him a question, I might add the same question. I have been trying to ask him for 15 minutes, and the entire time he was there, and he looked at me and said “you are confusing the mess out of me.” I said “no, you are confusing me!” I live in the Houston area and the condo I was putting the alarm system in was Lubbock. It wasn’t working right. I kept telling him that and he said it was only the app that wasn’t working. He spent 4 1/half hours at my condo. When I got home tonight back to Euston, it was an 8 Hour Drive. I looked at the cameras. The back camera is not working. On the app it wants me to reset some of the items. I’m eight hours away. I can’t reset the cameras.

Fastest call back I’ve received from customer service to get me set up. Technician came the next day! My two techs were awesome! They took their time to show me everything I needed to know also show my potential upgrades I may want to make in the future. They answered all my questions and even informed me of stuff I didn’t remember to ask. All in all it was a good experience from start to finish!

Service tech came out, explained and showed me products being used. Installed in a fairly good time window. After showed me how to use system. Was very knowledgeable and not overbearing. Would highly recommend. Service equipment looked and seems high tech. Audio was great, video not bad either. Slow download but may have been system. Had great experience with company. Seem to follow every bit of the way.

Jimmy was great with setting me up with the right plan and giving me great insight on how to go forward with them. He gave great detail as to how all the equipment works and the quality of the equipment. He gave me a great feeling about me signing up with Vivint.

I am a stickler for customer service and this was seamless!!! Best experience I have had in a long time. Start to finish. Great first call to get educated about the services Vivint provides. I signed up based on that call! Installer (Mike) came on time, super polite, courteous, hardworking, and patient to explain the system to me. Walked around several times to discuss best placement for camera and sensors…He wanted to be sure it was good for me & my needs. Learning curve for sure but much better than previous service with ADT!

The technician was very helpful with my installation. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. There were some technical issues with one of the cameras that was installed. However, was was very diligent with his troubleshooting and was able to resolve the problem.

The install was very quick, tidy, and I got a thorough explanation on all the products I selected. My only issue, the batteries that were placed in some of these new products failed after a few months of use. I believe, if you charge thousands of dollars for equipment, at least put new batteries your equipment.

The tech came out and was very kind and courteous. Explained all the details of the plan and installed everything to our preferences. We kept asking for devices and the tech had everything we needed. Krystal was truly impressive. Vivint has definitely impressed so far. Alarm system works seamlessly with the lock, garage and thermostat. It is very convenient to use.

Our salesman Milo ** was fantastic! He was informative, friendly, but wasn’t pushy or made you feel like you were being pressured. He took the time to explain the different options for home security, walked the property to make sure we would be protected. He had a great attitude and was a pleasure to work with. His installation tech Chad ** was super nice, did a great job installing all the equipment and after showed us how to use everything, set detection parameters, change settings, etc. You can tell the quality of this equipment, and the service is better than the last two security companies we’ve used. I highly recommend Vivint for your home protection needs. The installer met all my Home protection needs and went above and beyond to make sure things were as I expected. The quality of the equipment surpassed what I previously had with a different competitor. I was surprised to find Vivint had a medical alert necklace for my senior mom to wear and was added to my security plan.

We had a new system installed at our second home in West Philly. Our technician Mike actually did the install in our first home. Always the professional and always explaining options and the work order. He clean up the little mess made during the install for which we always appreciate.

I’ve talked to different people and each person gave me a different process to follow. I’ve been trying to cancel their service for 5 days now to no avail. To my surprise instead of refunding my money they charged my card again without my authorization and after I already called to cancel.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable service. Very friendly and competent. Explained the service in detail and understandable in all facets of explanation. Reviewed the camera system outside and all devices inside the home. Reviewed panel functions in detail and the same functions on my cell phone app. Detailed descriptive of “deter” function and spotlight. Reviewed the recordings function of info recorded by the DVD.

All in all The service is good. I feel deceived by the salesman. He gave me one cost but I'm being billed double the amount. When I called to contest, all they could say was that I signed the digital contract. They also did not forwarn me of an additional fee by the city police dept. for sending police in case of alarms. I couldn't get off from that service. Plus I'm locked in for 3 years to which I know I did not agree to. Although, I did get a small discount for 6 months but after that I'm back to square 1.

Never heard of Vivint until home inspection company recommend them. Could not be more pleased! Harold ** did my install and went out of his way by recommending what I needed and ways to save. Installed 2 Smart Door Locks, front door camera doorbell, New Smart control panel, tied in with my sensors already installed. Installed and connect my garage to system and linked it to MyQ opener. Test everything and showed me how to use it. Would highly recommend Vivint if you are looking for a security system.

Process is simple and technician explained everything well. Had this system before and never had any issues. Product and pricing discussed before installation and they work with you to fit your needs and expectations. Technician offered his recommendation but did not make one feel pressured or obligated to buy. Their camera system is very nice and has wide span viewing range. It’s easy to use.

He did the installation at my previous home and handed me his card and said to call him if I needed services at my new house. Freddy took really good care of me and my family setting us up with the equipment and service that best fit us. The installation guy came by right away to start setting up and did a really good job in a timely manner installing. He also made sure to stay a little extra to give us the info and teach us how to work our new system.

They were my saviors after ADT left me without a system for two weeks after their components failed. Jake, was very knowledgeable on the security alarm. He was recommended to me that included alarm with camera, two window alarms, back door alarm. Motion sensor inside your house and a monitor where you can see all the activity taken place in front of your door. Any questions I had were answered and he made me feel very comfortable on asking the questions. Thank You for the Alarm! It truly helps us to feel safe.

Salesperson my husband spoke to was horrible. They did not inform him that he had to be here in person for the installation and is out in the middle of the ocean with the military at the moment. They also did not put our building number on the invoice which confused the technician who came to install. They also put my information and the fact that I was to be contacted for the installation in an area that wasn’t easily noticeable. Our installer Alexander was amazing. He explained everything to me and was able to get us all set up correctly! I appreciate the time he took to make sure we understood everything and that it was all running correctly.

Made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. My parents use this and I loved it and now that I am on my own I can say I love it within my home as well, easy to use.

We’ve just gotten our 2nd Vivint alarm system since 2015 more updated version. As far as we are concerned it is wonderful, easy to use etc. We were hoodwinked into another Brand that started with a Br. a few years ago with them claiming to be doing work for Vivint, that was a scam and would never use them again!

We are happy with our service. The technician was polite and informative. I do think that before the set up you should be provided more information about installation as well as let them know you need to have the person that set up the account there for survey. Installation requires items to be hardwired and finding the best place for these items. I think it would be beneficial to be able to decide on this beforehand since items are being hardwired.

Shane was very professional and fast during the install. We had 3 cameras, 9 door/window sensors, glass break sensor, carbon monoxide sensor, smart door lock, and the panel installed. All the wires are hidden inside the wall, the cameras a very clear with a nice 140 degree view. Shane was also very thorough in the explanation of how all devices, and the app work. Everything works smoothly so far. Easy to use technology and the technician who installed the equipment was very professional and knowledgeable. The cameras show a clear picture and the audio is audible. We like the option to turn off the deter if we don't want to warn people of our cameras that are in use.

We had one of the most weird experiences with this install. It started off super friendly and very helpful but then as the job went on the tech started to get more tired and frustrated. He ended up not installing the last camera and his excuse was it would be too hard and take too long because he did not realize we had fire protection in the wall. When we said that we still wanted it installed to hide the cord he became rude and threw an adult tantrum and quickly hurried up to finish what he could and left with the job not fully completed. He also left a mess for us to clean up and wall needs to be painted over from the hole he made. We still need this fixed but we ask for a different tech next time.

Jose was such a great help in guiding me through the whole process. He went over my contract and equipment before commencing the project. He caught a few things that were left off my contract and explained why I needed the products. He was very thorough in explaining how to use my system. I strongly recommend working with local Vivint reps/salespeople, especially Freddie. We love the Vivint app which allows us to monitor our home 24/7 if we choose to. Our experience was great.

Tech Franger did an excellent job with the installation and explaining everything. There were a few small issues afterwards, a little user error and connectivity problems but it was all fixed. I was able to reach the tech (Franger) and he walked me through what needed to be done and how to fix it.

He’s so honest, knowledgeable, thorough and really cares that the installation is perfect to meet customer needs. Vivint is lucky to have him. The pre-installation, however, of getting the app, the initial documents, etc. was so frustrating and inefficient. The Rep who called day ahead on my installation to alert of email coming with documents should have given me far more information on what to expect: that one’s initial credit check would be done again so be sure one’s credit report is not frozen, etc. The text to download the app link was a waste, as it didn’t allow you to set up a new user account even though one assumes & tries to do so. I was on the verge of canceling before installation until I met Dell, Technician who saved me and my frustrations! I’m looking forward to utilizing the system.

I've previously had service before 7 years ago and I love it. Which is why I returned to utilize Vivint again. Techs are always prompt and professional. This guy yesterday Shane was freaking amazing. I really appreciate his professionalism and he treated my home with the utmost respect as if it was his own. The company is lucky to have him. Thank you.

The installation was scheduled. Greg the installer went over what was to be done. I asked for his opinion. He made some suggestions. He’s very knowledgeable. Neat. Clean work. I am so happy. He did a great job and professional. He was on time. Said when he would be finished. Terrific. Would highly recommend him and Vivint.

Ángel was very informative and addressed our concerns. We made sure the door pad matched to our door before installing. Suggested best location for the panel. Was very patient because my home is very big. I would totally recommend him to family and friends. I hope they send him back when we add the addition to the barndo.

The service installer was very professional, and he worked diligently to get my new system up and running. There were some communication problems with him in the office, but he managed to get through the issue. Although the day is not complete, I am satisfied with the service and his knowledge of the Vivint system.

The technician (Patrick) was very professional and informative. He kept me informed of expected arrival time and arrived on time. He listened to what I wanted and he thought through appropriate placement of all equipment. I am happy with the results. It is too early to remark on the service it will provide as it has only been on for an hour or two. But in regards to the install - very satisfied.
