The technicians was friendly, knowledgeable and patient when it came to answering my questions. I have and will continue to invite friends to seek out services through Vivint. The system seems to be user friendly and I will go to sleep at night knowing that my family and I are protected.

Great service from start to finish. The company and technician communicated very well to ensure all areas of security were covered, which included placement of cameras, motion detectors and control system. Questions and concerns were addressed and actioned during the installation. Follow up to ensure all documents were signed and agreed to the survey process. I want to be very candid that I was totally impressed with the installation people!!! That I was very disappointed the system failed within 24 hours. Then the compound my frustration and dissatisfaction trying to get through to a customer service rep was so aggravating I finally gave up. I tried at least five times and spent an hour wasting my time. Now I have a system that doesn’t work. I did try to contact the installer yesterday and have not heard back from him I assume because of the weekend? I’m not very happy.

Brian was very polite and walked me through a variety of options that were available for my home. Installation was quick. The technician was also very polite and knowledgeable. So far this Vivint system is far better than my previous brinks system. I’m paying the same as my previous system, but I now have an extra driveway camera and can now open my garage through my phone.

Jose was very knowledgeable and had me up and running in about an hour. Very nicely done. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an alarm system. He explained everything and was very thorough. Installed the cameras professionally and made sure all was working. He also showed me how to change my settings.

The technician Jarrett did a really good job with the installation of my Vivint security system. He was prompt, courteous and answered all my questions or concerns. He did spend almost an hour on upselling which I wasn’t expecting and I found annoying. So far I am happy with the security system.

Alarm technician (installer) was courteous and professional. He worked efficiently and did a good job installing the alarm system. He knew his job well and showed us how to use the system—including the alarm pad and mobile device. He also answered all questions patiently and completely. My first time with any security camera. Gotta see how I enjoy it first!! Customer service was very nice and friendly and helpful with explaining everything to me as well as installing reps very helpful with everything! Just started trial period so let’s see how things work out for me.

Nick was great installing, explaining, and demonstrating everything. He was very friendly and down to earth and he made the installation an enjoyable experience. The whole system is very impressive, intuitive, and has some great customizable features. I would highly recommend to anyone that is considering a home security system.

My technician was awesome and explained the process well and very knowledgeable of his job!! He took his time to explain and how to set the alarm before and after arriving to my home. Angel was knowledgeable. He answered all my questions I had about the system. Also, I didn't expect the install to happen the same day so that was great. I also like the fact that the panel is so self explanatory. But the best thing about this system is that my kids don't have to go to the door when someone is at the door, they can go to the panel and see who it is.

From the get-go that I called to inquire up to the point that system were installed, everything have been seamless on the service aspect. Barbara & Alex were both excellently able to provide me the information that I need from which I was able to clarify what we need in terms of home security and make decisions based on the info. They don't sound like salesman at all.

My service tech was very thorough and accurate with getting equipment installed and very helpful. Only thing I would like to see him do is pick up his trash or ask me to throw it away. Will be doing some upgrades before the year is out. We also needed an extension cord to place one of my cameras and the solution was I can do that the customer. That was not the answer I was looking for. The answer should have been, "If you have an extension record I can get it fixed up for you like you want it" but instead he was like, "When you get the extension you can fix that." I was like, "Okay" and he said he didn't have no extension cords on his truck which is understandable but I would like to have done it in the way for the camera where you can make your own cord.

I personally don’t like solicitations by stopping by in the evenings and reminding people out there that not interested means not interested. I have the system installed and they work fine, but I personally don’t like door to door salespeople. People ignore answering the door for these reasons. I haven’t been with the company long enough to give a review about product they are selling.

I am not good at technology. I was pleased with My tech Angel who took her time with me to reset my equipment and make sure all my questions had been answered. I had a problem with my email allowing me to use app on my phone as well. Angel walked me through the reset of that as well and had me test it out so I was comfortable with it.

Arrived on time and early. The tech was proficient and professional. Easy to understand and good communicator. Made me feel safe and took time to explain in an easy to comprehend way. Highly knowledgeable and skillful. The tech was able to navigate many logistic issues and offered excellent solutions to the challenges as they occurred.

The sales representative (talked over the phone) and the technicians were excellent. They were able to install the system in under 2 hours. I give them a four star only because I do not like the fact they need a deposit (refundable) and an agreement signed to have the technician come over just to give us estimate. It made me feel I was committing to a service without having an initial consultation at my home. Nonetheless it worked out and we went with Vivint.

Our agent that installed the equipment was amazing! He deserves a raise. Everything was done quickly and perfectly. He was very professional. He answered all of our questions with great knowledge not to mention that he helped us get the app set up and show us about the referral program and protection plans.

On time for installation. Very pleased with installer and time it took. He explained everything to me so I know exactly what I can do. System working beautiful. What a great experience. I was updated consistently on the arrival of my technician who by the way was very knowledgeable, respectful of my property and assessed my order to ensure it really fitted my needs once he was onsite to view the property. Following installation he walked us through all of the features to ensure we were confident that we could work system. I was also really impressed with the contract confirmation process that was completed via FT and recorded along with aid comparison to ensure I was truly the applicant.

I want to extend thanks to Cole for an amazing job well done! From start (the day before by making contact by text) to finish (long after he could have left the job) he was helpful and courteous. The customer service representative over the phone was very resourceful. The installation technician was very informative and provided great personable skills. Tim was very knowledgeable about his job and the equipment. Moreover, Tim recommended other great products that may be beneficial for my home security. I recommend a family member. He was also able to provide services for my cousin. The equipment appears very easy to use; although I wish the equipment had a longer backup battery life, in case of power outages, I would still have protection.

We’ve been holding off on a security system but glad we finally signed up. We’re feeling safe in our home already. The system and mobile app are both user friendly, is easy to navigate. Thank you for your prompt service. Sawyer and the technician were both friendly and professional.

The man that set up our system was great and very nice. He answered every one of our questions. We love our new security system and very satisfied with how everything works and understand how it works as well. We were left very satisfied overall and will be recommending it to our family and friends.

Ron was great during the install. He was prompt, important to us. He explained everything in detail and made us feel very comfortable with our purchase. The installation was done in such a professional manner. Mike was here as scheduled and took great care to make sure I understood the system. There was no interruption to my daily activities. The sales process of buying into the service was very smooth. The service was in my name for my elderly mother. After two years of using the service, my mother took a turn for the worst and no longer able to live independently. I tried to cancel the service for now two months, starting on December 1st, 2023, without any success. I have tried to cancel four times over the last two months, with very long phone calls. I even received a service charge for Dec. 2023 and Jan. 2024, when the system is completely offline.

No comment. I am satisfied the technician did an excellent job. The is high standard. The technician worked with speed and accuracy. Vivint offers my other services, which will home safe and environment secure. Home security is a priority to neighborhood and community, when you are home and away.

Very happy I chose Vivint. So many more options than ADT. And I love how it’s integrated with my devices. I definitely would recommend. And my installation went seamlessly. And my installer took time to go over everything and made sure I understood my new system. Would definitely recommend this company.

The installers did an amazing job. I am super disappointed in the sales rep the price was $1,000 more than discussed and I didn’t add anything on. The manager brought it down and took $500 off because I was going to turn away the installers. He acted like he was doing me a favor when I had in writing very much clarified the overall price with the sales rep. Seems like false advertising to me. I still might cancel.

The tech was awesome very through and efficient. Couldn’t have went better. He explained everything and covered all questions and concerns I had. The entire process to less than an hour from start to finish. The survey review concept was a little different but I understand why it also was short and to the point. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

Lied to me at sign up, said I would get 400 dollar gift card. Talked to everyone the all debts will not give me my card, my 400 dollar gift card, my 400 dollar gift card, lies lies lies. Not happy with Vivint. Not happy with vivint, may have to cancel my service.

Tech was a little late but did communicate their adjusted arrival time. Install was smooth except the garage door was not updated correctly and does not with through app. Tech had an additional appointment afterwards and was worried about getting there on time. Seems techs can use some additional help to complete jobs faster or more time between appointments.

I just want to express my gratitude for the great service Alan gave us , he’s very attentive and understanding of the terrible experience we have gone through having our home burglarized. He made sure that we got the system we needed, and all appropriate steps for installation were done with no mistakes. I am grateful to have him as my technician. God bless Alan.

We had some compatibility issues with our wifi vs the panel, and our installer, Jesse, went above and beyond to get it fixed. He even called the Internet company to get it figured out. I am certain that most other installers would have given up and left us without a system. Great experience!

The technician was extremely courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. He phoned before arriving at my home. He answered all my questions and taught me how to use my new security system. He is honest and trustworthy. He inspired my confidence. He is a 10 out of 10! I am now up-to-date with modern technology.

The process was smooth and fairly quick for this sort of thing. Nick was thorough and answered all my questions. He walked us through the app and settings for everything including camera setup. He cleaned up after himself. It was a good install.

If I could give a zero-star rating, I would. Vivint is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Their customer service department is based in the Philippines and cannot solve a single problem, but they can either drop the call directly or put you in a queue that seems pre-programmed to drop the call. You can ask to be transferred to a US-based representative, which means you go into the queue and usually get one of two results, neither of which involves speaking to a US-based rep: A) the queue takes you back to a Philippines-based rep, or B) the queue ends in a dropped call. Their cameras go offline every few weeks, often requiring a technician's assistance - if you're lucky enough to finagle an arrangement with one. To schedule a technician appointment, you'll fight a long battle against someone who can only recite company-dictated responses. My recommendation is to go with Google Nest, or anything else that's not Vivint.

Jordan and the technician were respectful and didn't mind explaining or repeating things I didn't hear or understand. Know their job. They were helpful with trying to get the information from my phone and my computer. Couldn't have completed anything without their knowledge. They both get an A+ in my book.

Fonte was the technician who installed my alarm system along with camera door camera and fire/carbon monoxide detector. I was really impressed with his performance and professionalism. It was a pleasure to have him here for installation. I give him 10 stars for making the long process a pleasurable one. Thank you.

We were with another company for well over 10 years and the quality of customer service went down. We have family and friends that are Vivint customers and have been telling us to switch. Today the tech was very efficient, took his time to ensure everything was properly installed, and answered questions. Glad we switched!

Jesus was the agent that set up my home smart alarm from Vivint! I'm very happy and so as my family. He was professional! The service, answering questions and punctuality! Excellent! I was hesitant at first when I read some bad reviews. However I liked my sales guy Alejandro and Cherry. I got a lot more for more money than what I had at ADT. It's only been two days and the equipment is nice and I love my thermostat. Bottom line I'm happy so far. Jonathan the technician was amazing and did a great job on installation. I would recommend them.

It was very difficult to set up my logon in both my smartphone and the website. This is the worst website I’ve seen in years. It took 27 emails and I still have not straightened out my password to my account. Again this is the worst system I’ve ever seen.

Both the phone customer service and tech provided amazing customer service. They made sure that any and all questions were answered. The tech made sure to go over every detail of the system and made sure everything was good to go before he left. The customer service agent was amazing.

My experience with the Christian ** was excellent. I spoke with someone on the phone, 1/16. He gave me a quote. It turned out to be invalid. Spoke with Mitchell **, he gave one price over the phone and emailed a different price. He did not respond to my request for a correction. Very disappointed with phone contacts. Christian ** was able to provide the service I needed. He was professional and informative.

Everyone was great! From start to finish in about 2 hours. Very happy with end result. Only thing I would change is some of the windows have the detector on the bottom windowsill ledge thing. Rather have them all up top. Possibly no room on my windows. That’s why they did it like that.

Your Vivint install team did a great job. Very clean and professional. Explained everything from what each piece of equipment does to how to program. My install was done by Cathrine who took me at the last minute because another technician has a long job. She did a wonderful job and was very knowledgeable. She didn’t have to do overtime to assist me but she did. That’s great customer service. She made the process very seamless.

Everything was great! I love the panel, the doorbell and the spotlight with floodlight. The sensors were placed in good spots! The tech used discrete sensors that went in the door jams. Only thing I can say to improve on is have your techs give the customer signs and stickers after their install. I want people to know who I invested in.

Before he even arrived he kept asking me “are you sure you want me to come” only because I advised him what sales advised me of his arrival time. I kept ALL OF THE TEXTS! Too, what the email I was sent by Vivint about the cost and what the installer told me it was going to cost me were 2 different numbers… The installers numbers were Much higher.

We weren’t really looking for a security system but when I sat down and started talking to my rep I realized it wasn’t that expensive. Also we realized how necessary it was, especially with kids. I feel safer knowing that I can have emergency responders here with a touch of a button.

Vivint is a great product but installation made my hallway look horrible. I have no idea why they would leave this outlet looking like this. Everything else seems to be okay other than the most noticeable outlet in the house. Came in and installed everything rather quickly but that is not always a good thing I guess.

This experience was really great. Omar was very thorough and walked me through everything he was doing. He even asked me to not have Ubers come directly to my private entrance for safety reasons. When signing contract there is some missing information that needs to review. I even follow up with the sales representative regarding integration fee. He is just lucky that I'm looking for a security device. Installation was ok. Hoping that next sales representative will be more elaborate regarding contract and how the devices works.

Zac was very friendly and nice. No issues with installation. Issue was 24 hours later. Inside alarm was chirping non stop. Stated it was dirty but it's brand ne. Called the salesperson who states he was working on it. Only to find out that nothing was done. Had to remove it and take out the batteries. Still nobody came. Called yesterday and they needed to make an appointment and it wasn't for Monday the day I was home. I can't be taking time off from work to wait on a person to fix something that is brand new. Next appointment was a week out. Now I'm cancelling it because something is beeping on the panel and have no idea what is going on.

My technician, Robert, was fantastic! He came on time and installed my system quickly. He took the time to answer all of my questions and gave great, professional advice. He not only showed me how to access my system, but he also showed me some perks as well. 10/10 service!

Roberto is great. We are still needing a few devices, but awaiting an electrician. Using the system and it’s great so far and much better than our previous system. Our sales person Van was very helpful and informative. The only concern I had, was the cost was higher than our quote, but I think our previous system had more devices than anticipated.

Small homes large homes giving has a plan that will suit your needs. Personnel were professional and friendly. 4k resolution is amazing. Will be setting up phones apps and goodies today. On today's divided world it adds a layer of security I recommend. We love 6 hours from the weakest border in national History so it makes sense to be able to secure and monitor your home with the advantage of never having to unlock your door to have a conversation as the voice communications feature is all you need. Will ** is fantastic person. He has honest eyes, great handshake and his personality is strong. I have a masters in social work and he has strong work ethics. You would be a fool to lose him. The installers were very nice they started late afternoon and did not finish until 10 pm. Not their fault but you should not have workers in homes during supper times.

I was very pleased with Mike, who installed all of the sensors and cameras. He was very careful that I understood what I am to do after he leaves. I would recommend him to anyone who is interested in either changing their systems or getting more information.

What we were quoted on the phone to what we are paying is the only thing that I didn’t like and the financing was suppose to be 36 months not 60. Other that it was a good experience. I would like a reduction in the amount per month since we were told differently.

Site easy to use and much better than old company that was fired for 3 no show service appointments in 2 months. (Brinks). Vivint is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Good service.

Bought a new system. It is working well. Just trying to dial in some of the features and notifications that someone is on my property but no one is - some false alarms. Zane was installer and did an excellent job. He took time to walk me through everything and was patient. He stayed late to make sure everything was working.

Our technician was kind and courteous, explained to us everything in detail, and went over everything with us with the alarm system and the doorbell camera, I watched a video and answered the questions I was asked and signed all my agreements for the Vivint security system. We were very pleased and very happy with our new security system, and will definitely be referring our friends and family.

I really hate this company. They are so frustrating and their contracts are awful. If you have autopay and update your payment (let’s say if you changed your card), and it doesn’t go through, you get NO notification about it, and therefore don’t have an opportunity to fix it. You only find out about it after the next pay cycle occurs and they charge you for both months plus a late fee. You can’t opt out of their surveillance service unless you buy out their equipment which is absolutely ridiculous. Their equipment is over the top expensive and triple or quadruple the price than it should be. So you’re stuck paying for years and can’t break away from them. It sucks. You’re better off with Ring. Save yourself and don’t bother with this company.

He was very courteous, professional and very knowledgeable with the features of the security system. He answered all of my questions. He went above and beyond my expectations. When I was approached by the sales representative, I was uncertain as to whether I could switch my service or not, so I contacted my solar panel company and sure enough, I could, so I called the sales representative back, as he had left me his card and he and I got a package put together that suited me and my household perfectly and the installer was there within the hour to make everything come to fruition. It was fantastic the way everything was pulled together so quickly and I had more coverage than the other plan for approximately the same amount of money. I couldn't believe, it was all done in a matter of two days, from start to finish, when the sales representative first talked to me.

Amazing service was provided with great training! This was my first time using a home security system (always lived in apartments). He took his time, answered any questions I had and made great recommendations! Extremely talented and knowledgeable. Quick and informative install and instructions! My tech (Jesse **) was very friendly and professional and even offered to come earlier if I was available which worked great for me! Would totally recommend! I’m renting an apartment so he was fully understanding of not being able to drill holes except for the doorbell wire which is very easily covered!

Both the salesman and installation tech were very professional however none of my personal devices are working. I haven't been able to receive video. I can't monitor my system if I can't monitor my system. Not useful at all. Will probably discontinue the service. This is a problem that, on the first day, leads me to believe it will be an ongoing problem. For the price, I'm not impressed in the least.

Vivint customer experiences was great. The people are friendly and very knowledgeable. Any question my husband and I had, was answered quickly and done in a way we would understand. We received a new Vivint installation today and were very impressed with the professional service from our initial call for information to the serviceman that did the install. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative with quick answers to our questions. We never felt pressured or overwhelmed throughout the entire process. My initial response was amazing took my sales rep no time at all to reach out regarding my interest. Secondly my sales rep made a great first impression and built a relationship with me over the phone, which is extremely hard to do. I give him a 11/10 stars. Went above and beyond what anyone could ever ask for. The next rep I spoke to was a customer service rep, she was beyond helpful and super kind to speak with. Next I had my install rep, he went above and beyond as well. Showed me how I can use all my equipment and made sure I got everything I asked for plus more that I didn’t even know I needed. Very very happy with the service I have received. The biggest reason as to why I had a great experience was because of these employees. You have a great staff, please do not take them for granted.

The tech was great and got everything hooked up and working in a timely manner. Made sure everything was good to go before leaving and did an excellent job at explaining the system and updates as well as letting me know of new product available. The tech guy was great and friendly! He installed the cameras where they were supposed to go and he knew what he was doing. He installed the sensors as well in all of our windows and showed me how to navigate the tablet screen and the Vivint application on my phone.

He explained the whole setup and helped with it as well. I had questions regarding linking my nest thermostat as well as my garage and he was able to show us how to link all of them to make things easier on us and only having to use one app.

I was under the impression that the cost to start service was going to be around $70 NOT $380!!!! I wasn't told $380!!!! I was "talked" into getting VIVINT & am unhappy & disappointed in myself that I allowed that to happen. I don't plan on keeping this service!! I will not be recommending Vivint.

My installer, John, was truly amazing! Very knowledgeable and proficient with the installation and courteous and patient with explaining how the system worked. Vivint came highly recommended from Law Enforcement, and after doing a lot of research, I found that Vivint was my best option. I’m happy with the service and the quality of the equipment.

Our technician was knowledgeable, patient and professional. The system was easy to learn and everyone I have dealt with so far has been professional and very helpful. Even when setting up an older, existing system, there was no sales pressure to buy a new system and our technician not only knew how to work with it, but he also knew how to troubleshoot it. Vivint is our first experience with an alarm company and so far we are pleased with the quality of responses from the company and the professionalism.

The only dissatisfaction with the company. There was a soft credit check with the sales representative. We scheduled the appointment and I selected the equipment. A payment was required. I was ok with that process. The next day that the technician arrived. A hard credit was needed, in addition to an application for financing. I believe the process is very straightforward because what if I wasn’t approved? The technician brought all of the materials in my home with him. We spent over an hour doing paperwork before he could get started.

He was here 4 hours and made sure the equipment was installed properly and explained every detail that we needed to know. He was very patient and kind with questions that we had. Today on 1/03/24 I got my first ever security system. The gentleman Cipriano who installed the equipment was very knowledgeable and very friendly. My house is older military housing so the layout is different than most modern houses and the walls are a mixture of concrete and drywall. Cipriano worked so hard to make the security system fit just right even though it was difficult because of the house walls. I was very pleased with his friendliness and knowledge of the system he was installing. This gentleman definitely deserves a raise!

Jose communicated with me before the install, and explained everything very well. He spent time showing me the addition features on the app. I appreciated his willingness to make sure that I agreed with the placement of the motion device and doorbell camera. I would highly recommend using Vivint… ask for Jose!

My cameras were installed yesterday. At first they tried to get me to finance. I find that part annoying. I called back, customer service discussed options I wanted and prices in better detail. The installer was professional, courteous, and explained how everything works. The app is great and cameras have a good range.

The tech was very helpful and patient. He explained all features pertaining to the system where I or my child could understand how to work the security system. He worked in the rain late to make sure our system was up and running. Happy I chose Vivint and I would refer this system to my family and friends.

I've had Vivint since 2021 and their salesman was good. He stated they're US based and manufacture all their equipment in-house. He also said I could go to him for anything even after the installation. A month after the installation was done and they got my money, he'd refer me to call support. Fine. Typical salesman. Onto their equipment: I've had to replace the Smart Drive, a doorbell, and multiple Wi-Fi Bridges (the part that plugs into the wall). These items aren't cheap. For 2 cameras and 2 doorbells, it cost $3800 and that doesn't include tech visits (which they will do only after lengthy troubleshooting calls for $99).

Jared the manager and his team of three men, two were there for training; were very professional, punctual and thorough with all of the services and information that was needed to provide me with. I had no issues with follow up questions and learning how to use the security system. I appreciate this company and everyone involved with keeping the community safe and aware of their surroundings.

Installer was very rude, condescending, impatient and not to mention unprofessional. As a customer you’re expecting someone who is courteous and respectful not someone who is rushing you to start the job as if we have no right to ask questions and read and understand the contract. Vivint should go through the contract process ahead of time before the installer arrives so they could just be the installer. Then customer wouldn’t have to endure this nonsense.

I really was touched by the way, they went all out to work with my schedule, to get them in place, your communication, from the first time called was excellent, with keeping me informed, until the insulation was completed. The system Is very simple to use. That says another. Thanks, I'm Happy.

We loved the all process from sales associate ( Manny) and the installation tech (Jack). The switch from the previous company to Vivint was worth it. We are very happy. Manny as a sales associates was very friendly. Jack the tech was very polite and easy to deal with. He explained the whole process from A to Z. Vivint makes my house fully automated. The system is easy to operate.

Camera quality is AMAZING! Much better than our Arlo or Ring doorbell cameras. Will be adding more in the future! The system gives me peace of mind that if someone should attempt to enter my home or vehicle without permission the cameras will record quality images that can be used to identify the person.

Not what I expected, which was better facial recognition. Unfortunately I feel as though their service is overrated. I feel they could do much better than with their service and camera quality. I would have to say if I ever decide to switch out Vivint I will definitely do my homework and look into a couple of More security camera services PERIOD.

The agent was professional and nice. Explained everything and gave demos. He even took old cameras off the house that were there before I moved in. I was told I was going to get a call within a thirty minute window. Instead, I received a text regarding instructions on how to set up my alarm system. With all the scams in this world, I did not feel safe doing this without calling Vivint to clarify it is them. Also, there are multiple malfunctions within 24 hours after connecting the system.

From my first call to purchase to install and execution it was less than 48 hours. Michael the installer was extremely knowledgeable and was in and out of my house in less than 2 hours. I have the camera with spotlights, window door sensor and glass break sensor as well as the smoke and CO2 detectors.

We recently bought a house and had the previous Vivint system transferred to us with some additions made. Although we haven’t yet had much experience with the new system (everything appears great so far) I have to say that the installer, Roden, made everything clear, he was so kind and friendly and honest and I feel he went above and beyond with the install and communication through the whole process!

Vivint has been my security system for a while. A lot of people that I know have Vivint. It's a great security system. It even alerts you of what's going on at your house. It's very careful as well. It's sends out alerts of broken glass has happen. The thermostat is easy to control. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
