Before the technician left, he did not give me the monthly rate for monitoring and since he has left no one from Vivint has called to verify the monthly fee, now I was told $26 per month but it hasn’t been given to me in writing. Also I was told I will get a complete copy of the contract emailed to me, which also hasn’t been done. So far I am not happy with Vivint at this time??

My time with Vivint was truly exceptional! Greg, their representative, was not just kind but incredibly polite throughout the installation process. His commitment to cleanliness stood out as he meticulously tidied up after setting up the system. Additionally, his patience when I decided to make changes to the equipment was remarkable. I'm absolutely thrilled with my Vivint system! The customer service has been outstanding, adding to the overall satisfaction of having this reliable system in place. Greg's professionalism and understanding truly made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.

System works great!!. Vivint representative was very helpful, He explained me how the system works and answered all my questions. The installation was done the same day and it was performed very fast. Vivint technician did an excellent job installing the system. He was very professional. I highly recommend Vivint security system.

Both techs were professional. After the system was installed, Chris explained and tested the system with me. The system was completed within the time frame I was given. The tech cleared up and left. Thanks.

Technician was very capable and did a nice job in installing the new system. He did a great job in terms of asking questions to meet our preferences, and was very pleasant throughout the process. I would recommend him to others. Only recommendation would be to incorporate more training in the use of the system once fully installed.

Oscar, our sales representative, and Quincy, our technician, were both amazing. They both made sure we got the exactly what we wanted. For them, it was more than just making a sale, it was about providing a much-needed service. Besides that, we are already using the service more than what we had. We are very happy with what we got.

Cody, our sales guy, was EXCELLENT. I’d give him 10 stars across the board. I’m very happy with the system looks so far. I’m giving four stars however because for whatever reason the thermostat could not be installed which was a real bummer. But besides that everything has been fantastic.

Been trying to get this company to come pickup their equipment, the next Day after they installed it, could never talk to no one, feel that I was taken advantage of, I'm a 62 yrs old female on disability, I have text message from June 3 when they installed, June 4th and again June 12th, I just got a call from someone on Yesterday telling me I have to pay for this system for 4yrs. I CANNOT AFFORD THIS.

Tim arrived on time. Let us know when he was on the way which made thing very convenient for us so we could be prepared and make sure we were there. When he did get there he was very helpful and friendly. Explain everything to us and showed us the different features for our alarm. He was awesome.

The young man who handled my installation was professional and courteous in all aspects of his job and answered every question that I had for him. I would keep him if I were you! I felt quite at ease with him in and around my house. I would recommend this company to everyone I know.

The camera system is very clear with audio that you can hear clearly. My fiancé set all this up when I was away and she said it was easy and the representative was so easy to work with. Carter was superb! Extremely efficient in getting the equipment installed, very charismatic and enjoyable to be around, and took great care in explaining how the equipment was operated and why he placed things in the positions he did. He also took the extra time to clean up the residue from the adhesive left by past products as well as vacuuming up any debris from the installation.

I'm please with the professionalism and service provided by Lance. The system is sufficient for my needs and I like it overall. However, the camera on the north is not detecting people and the camera access to videos is delayed when I'm home and someone's detected outside. Is there backup power in case of power outage?

Gabriel did a superior installing job. He was very professional and friendly. You are fortunate to have an employee with such quality. I know I will be happy that I reconnected security again with Vivint. I feel very safe to have my house with security and am glad I stayed with Vivint.

My experience with the sales and installation went really well. I appreciated the explanations of how things would work and the customization for me specifically. I also appreciated the follow-up information that I was given and how helpful everyone has been during each step of the process. I would highly recommend!

The installer Blake was so polite and went over everything with us and made sure it was all exactly how we wanted it. He worked hard and fast even though it was cold and rainy outside. He was fantastic. I would recommend this to a friend. My family feels much safer now with the cameras and security.

Gerry the technician who did the installation was also professional and polite and walked me every aspect of the installation. When he encountered a problem with studs in the wall where I wanted the monitor, he demonstrated his critical thinking skills and come up with a plan to get over it. I was very satisfied with the service provided by these two men.

The security I have in my home is the main thing and without a doubt Vivint offers it to me.

I have a house in Texas that I have Vivint in and just bought a new home here in Nevada. I added Vivint here as well because the safety features it offers me. Years ago it saved my life when I had a stroke and then again when I had complications thereafter. Sure you can get cheap stuff off Amazon but the quality of service and the added help when something is wrong is crucial. You never know what life holds for you, at the young age of 32 I was faced with such a life threatening situation. I was eventually able to go home, living alone, knowing I had a system built in that was there to protect me just in case. When I had complications later I set off my burglary alarm and it was set to call me and my emergency contacts if no answer to call 911. They did just that and it saved my life. I cannot recommend a system that is all inclusive of basic home needs like a thermostat to security and also medical emergencies.

We just had the security system installed yesterday. So far, we are happy with the services of Vivint. Vivint has provided us with alarm and security cameras.. Technicians were very knowledgeable about the installation. They were on time with all the equipment and tools. We will have no problem recommending your services to other clients, friends and families.

The equipment is very good, the person that came out to install the equipment was very nice and knowledgeable about the system, overall a great experience. I would recommend this system to friends and family. The cost of system is reasonable. Cameras are very clear and great view angles.

Our technician was PHENOMENAL and he explained everything, and went over every step bit by bit and we went to all areas then there was no questions unanswered from start to finish. The chimes, sounds, and everything was easy to use, and especially the arming & disarming the system was very simple to use.

My technician was very professional and nice. He walked me through the setup and made sure I understood how to operate the security system properly. He was also willing to move some of the equipment around after I asked. I would recommend this technician to other customers. He finished the whole process quickly and in line with my daily schedule.

I know we had a shaky start. The miscommunication about price and equipment was not my favorite. I wish there was no 3rd party financing involved but I guess I understand why. I think the company could cut down on all the confirmations involved. It was blowing my phone up and I confirmed each time. I do like the look and quality of the system.

I received an offer to switch when I purchased another service and thought I would give it a chance. Setting up the appointment was very easy via text and I was even happier as I cruised the app to see what we were getting into. The installation process was more complicated than I anticipated, but I am loving the functionality and quality so far! Our tech, Aaron, was extremely competent and professional! No wonder everyone in our neighborhood uses Vivint!

Super happy with Miler from the very first sales call we had until the system installation done by himself also. This gentleman is a true professional, trusted advisor and someone that genuinely has your interest at heart at all times. We are an ADT customer for 10+ yrs, however, the level of customer service and professionalism displayed by Miler was enough for us to move to Vivint now.

I am out of state and my brother was there for install. The tech didn't show him how to turn on and off control panel from the house. I texted the tech and he never responded. Also just tried to upsell me way too much. I wish he would have responded to me and let me decide what I wanted.

I would like to say that I am pleased with the whole experience with Vivint. From the beginning to the end everything went smooth and according to plan. I set up everything while overseas and when I moved, everything went well. Did have an issue with one of the cameras but it suppose to be fixed Sunday

Cris was my sales rep. He was funny and fun and then the next day the two young guys came in and put my equipment in my house. They were even nicer. I felt very comfortable with all those three young men. Thank you so much and keeping me and my husband safe.

Great customer service experience. They were very efficient and friendly. Installation process quick and easy, it was done quick even though it was late at night. The tech was able to install alarm panel, camera and doorbell without leaving any mess. Will recommend the service to others that are interested.

First off, our technician Mario was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and did an excellent job setting up! He truly lives the product and was not biased at all. The Vivint system is SO cool, simple, and top of the line tech! Best purchase!! Vivint can take all of my money honestly!

Josh‘s first class professional. Wonderful time management. Respectful, detailed and explained everything thoroughly. He got some help from Nick and Jesus for part of the day and finished up getting everything in perfect working order starting right from scratch. We feel good about the whole process. Also, Colton who sold us the system from your Salt Lake office was extremely knowledgeable.

I was fortunate in having a really good installer that made the process easy. I’m still new so will have to review the quality of the product in time. But their customer service and installation is great. They should tell you that you will need an outlet for each camera and to keep that in mind as exposed wires may be present or they should recommend having an electrician review the layout so you have outlets where the cameras will be.

I am so happy with the installation process. Keith had excellent customer service and was very knowledgeable about the alarm system. He explained everything to me and was very interested that I understood how everything worked. He took the time to make sure I was happy, comfortable and confident in working the alarm. 20 stars to Keith and Vivint for making sure I am safe.

I was very pleased with the service Vivint technician provided. This young man was so professional and polite. Very knowledgeable. I appreciate how clean he kept the area he worked in. He truly went his way to make sure nothing was left dirty when the job was completed. He explained everything so well regarding my new alarm system. The manager and techs that came out were awesome and went over everything with me, they came out same day to install and didn’t take no time at all, it was a breeze and everybody was super polite and friendly! If you don’t have a security system Vivint is definitely the way to go!

Tech did an amazing job, he was in no rush to answer all our questions as well as connecting and setting up all devices. Tech was very respectful. I would definitely recommend him for further jobs. I love the flood light as well as the cameras. They are all top of the line. Can’t wait to purchase more devices in the future with Vivint.

The Brian the person that installed my alarm system has the absolute best customer service and he is very well mannered. I give him 5 stars. I will definitely recommend Vivint to all my friends. I like the system, all the equipment looks nice, using the app on my phone is very easy and the camera/video pictures are very clear. I love the fact I can use the app on my phone to arm and disabled the alarm system.

Ryan came to install our security system. I am a single mom and was unsure of where to put things and unsure about all of it really, just because this was all new to me. Rian was extremely patient and helpful in suggestions on where to put cameras etc. He even came back the following day to finish the install because I was not able to stay long enough on the original day. Completely satisfied!

We are pretty happy with our Vivint experience so far. The only issue we had was that the installer couldn't do everything in one day so he has to come back to do the rest in a couple days. He did manage to do the front door lock, the viewing screen, thermostat hook up, and garage and back door sensors. He even saved us some money by letting us keep our Nest thermostat. He didn't have a few things like a back door lock in the color we wanted - nickel - and he didn't do the water sensors yet, but other than that it's been great.

Horrible customer service. I was charged extra fees upon service. It took 8 hours for my cameras to get installed. Highly do not recommend Vivint! The price of my service kept getting higher and higher. The representative that I was speaking with was no help at all, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. He got my package a bit cheaper but still not at the price it was at the beginning.

Loved the respectfulness yet friendly. The fact that he was able to speak Spanish made a huge difference. I'm telling everyone about the security system I just got is amazingly great. So I'm hopeful your sales increase tremendously!!!

The tech that came out was very knowledgeable about the products and what he recommended for the house we have. He explained everything thoroughly and then proceeded to install. After installation, he walked us through the smart app and guided us on how to make certain changes within the app.

I gave it 3 stars. Wish I can give it 5 but the price I was charged was triple from what the product is actually priced shown in the actually Vivint site. Every item recieved was total 899.99 on the site and I had a rep come to my house and I was quoted 3100.00 for everything which I did not know. I don’t feel like this is the right thing to do to customers especially telling them that there is a 0% interest but the only reason why is because they just charged you triple so in reality you already paid the interest basically. It’s only been 1 day and I’m ready to cancel my services I will purchase my products from a 3rd party which will be a lot cheaper than buying it from vivint.

I am an existing customer living in Louisville, Kentucky and had Vivint replace ADT in another property of ours in Texas. Roland help me decide the right package for the property and installed it. I can see and control both properties with my Vivint App. I really needed the garage door controller on that property like the two I have here in Louisville.

Service technicians/installers were professional and patient. Just phenomenal. Answered all our questions and gave time for us to call customer service about billing. Phone rep was great as well. Even swept up mess, took time for me to call my rep for garage door assistance. Really enjoyed the setup from start to finish.

Just got our system. Still learning how to work it. Once we get use to it then we will be able to see if we can get more customers to you. The system is very nice and it's easy to use. The screen is very easy to read. The installer was very helpful for helping us to use our new system.

Was asking personal questions about my family like what we do for a living, and who my father is. It made everyone extremely uncomfortable. He was looking at all our luxury items and making comments about them and it didn’t sit well with us and was very weird. Then made a rude comment to my mother that he doesn’t know how much English she speaks when she speaks perfect English and is an ** citizen. We were basically on edge the whole time he did the installation. I’m not an expert on customer service but I know asking person questions aren’t part of a technician's job.

My experience was very professional. The call was on time, scheduled, all questions were prompt and straightforward. I would definitely recommend Vivint to friends and family in the future. Also the system is very user friendly, easy to operate.

Alan installed my home alarm system. He thoroughly explained all the equipment and how it worked, allowing me to customize the system to my needs. He placed everything perfectly and explained how everything worked. The pricing was explained and the zero percent financing on equipment was a good perk. It was Excellent service.

They were very prompt with their timing, as well as very thorough with communication and explanation of how to use the system. 10/10 would recommend and refer to others! Experts made it easy to utilize our already in place electrical circuit without having to do a lot of extra tedious work.

Vivint seems to be a great choice for home security the panel is easy to use and it definitely gives me peace of mind when I leave home knowing it’s secure with the option to even view my cameras. I only had Vivint for 4 days now but so far I’m impressed.

Love the service but was a little disappointed that they were not able to install the bolt lock system on my front door or my garage door. Everything else works great. We had a new system put in after a threatening neighbor. We have had ADT for about 25 years and needed an upgrade. This system seemed more advanced. Technician was great. Very informed. Very polite. I was very happy with my experience and would happily recommend this system to a friends.

I was told all my installation and cameras were 100 and installation was free because I was on the extended warranty. I Asked for 4 cameras and 1 doorbell. They forgot one camera.. now I have to pay 300 for the camera that they forgot. I was lied to and I trusted this company.

The sales process went very smoothly and the representative named Tag was really personable. He got us a good deal and made us feel like this was going to be a very easy setup and installation. He was even able to get the technicians to come the night of the sale, at around 8pm. The technicians left our home in a nightmare state once they left around 11pm. There was a giant hole in the wall (that was not patched) outside where they put the camera, there were little wires left around our house (which is a hazard to our pets), the front camera was not working, one of the glass detectors was placed in the wrong spot, and the back gate was left wide open. There wasn’t even a minimum standard of care maintained by the technicians and we are extremely disappointed.

He cleaned up before leaving and asked me if I needed anything else! He was also really informative and walked me through how to use everything!

I recently had the pleasure of using Vivint security company, and I must say, their customer service is excellent. From the moment I contacted them, their representatives were friendly, patient, and went above and beyond to address all my concerns. When the service technician arrived at my home, I was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. They assessed my security needs thoroughly and provided insightful recommendations tailored to my specific requirements. The technician demonstrated expertise in installing and configuring the security system, ensuring everything was set up correctly.

I have Vivint replacing all my Wyze cameras and doorbell, which died within 4 days of each other after exactly one year, for a total of 8 pieces. They were done 2 months ago. I also have this new system replacing ADT, because my monitor on my ADT system died about 6 weeks ago, and I could not get it up and running. It was 8 years old. It has quit a number of times. ADT no longer makes this unit and always wants me to upgrade. They haggle me about repairing it, though it’s under warranty. I paid $150 for the repair the last time. Their service man told me one time that their upgrade wasn’t very good. Therefore, I contacted Vivint two days ago.

Jorge the salesman and Michael the installer were professional in both presentation and explanation of the system. Jorge did an evaluation of my needs and what I was comfortable with for a secure system. Michael came on time and made the effort explaining how it all worked and made sure I understood. He also said to contact him and the company if I had any issues. I’m happy with my choice.

To begin with, the best approach ever by a representative when reaching me at my home. Very understanding of my needs and ready to prepare an offer with numbers right away. Best option ever. I was with Vivint before, and now I am back to happy with a user-friendly service and equipment. I am super happy and extremely grateful for the quick installation and availability of support and not redundant communications.

The Vivint system came with the home we purchased. We added additional cameras, but they kept failing, despite 5 technician visits. We decided to purchase another system in 2020 and I emailed Vivint to cancel my account (as was the indicated way of informing them). In the beginning of 2023, I started getting invoices for monthly fees. I have now tried to cancel my account since April 2023. I was first told, I could only cancel at the end of July 2023, since the contract ended then and to call on one specific day. I called, but was informed that I needed to send an email, which I did. I have now had monthly invoices and monthly calls with them, each time being assured my account is closed, when it hasn't. I suggest staying far away from this company and their customer service.

Sales rep Carson is perfect. Was able to convinced me to get the service. Good job. I know how hard it is to convince homeowners and use your two legs walking around the community. Technician Emman is perfect as well. Fast installation. Would definitely recommend your company. For now since I just got the service, I hope that it will stay with my expectation. 5

Joseph gave us an amazing deal to get with Vivint, we had already had in mind to get with Vivint and he just made it way more easier, installation guys did a great job as well, no noticeable holes, awesome job with both sides. We have two flashing cameras, doorbell, and glass breakers. Everything works amazing.

Dell was EXTREMELY helpful and patient through our installation process. We are in a new home with several things that are not yet in place. I inherited a house that had the Vivint system in it but after a thorough inspection we realized there wasn't a motion detected and the tech said it would be $100 to replace it but I thought with a new system it came with one so I have a system with no motion detector therefore I felt the technician purpose was to be sure the person in the home felt secure but I as a homeowner didn't get that from him.

Aside from a few glitches the installation went well. Our only negative comment would be that we are not overly technologically savvy & the installer spoke very quickly & we weren't able to work through the demo. We believe he may have been running late for another appointment. Our only options now is to print an operating manual and go through it page by page to review & teach ourselves how to best utilize our new system.

Installing a new alarm system with new doorbell camera and sensor for the doors. Smoke detectors and new key pad. Hot water heater sensor to check for water damage. Door sensors for back door, hallway door and front door. Recording videos for the front door and doorbell ringer. Camera on cell phone for viewing and talking to someone at the door.

I repeatedly stated my goals very clearly. Was consistently told what I actually need, and what was installed is not what I needed or asked for. I now get to pay for a system that in no way satisfies our goals of installing a security system in the first place, plus I get limited access because they don’t work properly if you don’t have a specific type of router, which doesn’t work with our internet provider. All of this would have been great information to provide before drilling all over someone’s house and getting them to agree to pay thousands of dollars. If you can’t provide the requested services, don’t lie to get the sale; integrity is not in the employee handbook.

The installation team was very professional and neat. Explained all and every aspect of the system before leaving the house. They were very patient with my wife who had to have everything explained to her more than once.

Very quick and thorough with the home installation! Elias was very knowledgeable to where to place the cameras. Super nice and efficient. I didn’t have any concerns. Only downside is that Vivint doesn’t install after 6pm on weekdays or on Sundays so it was very hard for me to accommodate and adjust my schedule.

They did a great job, I'm not sure how it works but we had to haul out all the boxes and do the clean up after install. The whole installation process went as well as to be expected. Rob ** was the reason for this, he was very professional, easy to understand and very knowledgeable. The text alerts really helped with this process also, Rob was able to communicate well ahead of time and was prompt on the day of installation.

It was very good install from David, he installed a garage door opener, a thermostat, a doorbell, a motion sensor, and the 7 inch hub. He did it in a timely manner and answered all of my questions that needed answered. The tech was very pleasant. However, he didn't ask where to install so it was placed at his eye level. I'm tall and would like it at my eye level. He said the cord wasn't long enough. The chime box I'm to replace. As of now, there's no bell. I didn't get the Vivint sticker.

Had an incident on Halloween night. Called Vivint Nov 1 because the ring we had wasn't doing its job. Tech came out Nov 2 and did whole house installation in two hours. Tech was very thorough in his work and installation.

The installer was 25 mins late. He was rude and unprofessional. At one point when I was trying to ask him a question, I might add the same question. I have been trying to ask him for 15 minutes, and the entire time he was there, and he looked at me and said “you are confusing the mess out of me.” I said “no, you are confusing me!” I live in the Houston area and the condo I was putting the alarm system in was Lubbock. It wasn’t working right. I kept telling him that and he said it was only the app that wasn’t working. He spent 4 1/half hours at my condo. When I got home tonight back to Euston, it was an 8 Hour Drive. I looked at the cameras. The back camera is not working. On the app it wants me to reset some of the items. I’m eight hours away. I can’t reset the cameras.

Fastest call back I’ve received from customer service to get me set up. Technician came the next day! My two techs were awesome! They took their time to show me everything I needed to know also show my potential upgrades I may want to make in the future. They answered all my questions and even informed me of stuff I didn’t remember to ask. All in all it was a good experience from start to finish!

Service tech came out, explained and showed me products being used. Installed in a fairly good time window. After showed me how to use system. Was very knowledgeable and not overbearing. Would highly recommend. Service equipment looked and seems high tech. Audio was great, video not bad either. Slow download but may have been system. Had great experience with company. My only issue, the batteries that were placed in some of these new products failed after a few months of use. I believe, if you charge thousands of dollars for equipment, at least put new batteries your equipment.

Reviewed panel functions in detail and the same functions on my cell phone app. Detailed descriptive of “deter” function and spotlight. Reviewed the recordings function of info recorded by the DVD.

All in all The service is good. I feel deceived by the salesman. He gave me one cost but I'm being billed double the amount. When I called to contest, all they could say was that I signed the digital contract. They also did not forwarn me of an additional fee by the city police dept. for sending police in case of alarms. I couldn't get off from that service. Plus I'm locked in for 3 years to which I know I did not agree to. Although, I did get a small discount for 6 months but after that I'm back to square 1.

Never heard of Vivint until home inspection company recommend them. Could not be more pleased! Harold ** did my install and went out of his way by recommending what I needed and ways to save. Installed 2 Smart Door Locks, front door camera doorbell, New Smart control panel, tied in with my sensors already installed. Installed and connect my garage to system and linked it to MyQ opener. Test everything and showed me how to use it. Would highly recommend Vivint if you are looking for a security system.

Process is simple and technician explained everything well. Had this system before and never had any issues. Product and pricing discussed before installation and they work with you to fit your needs and expectations. Technician offered his recommendation but did not make one feel pressured or obligated to buy. Their camera system is very nice and has wide span viewing range. It’s easy to use.

100% satisfied with Xavier! He did an excellent job, and I appreciate him very much. He did the installation at my previous home and handed me his card and said to call him if I needed services at my new house. After a few weeks, I called him and he could not have been more prompt and helpful. Highly recommend!

Freddy took really good care of me and my family setting us up with the equipment and service that best fit us. The installation guy came by right away to start setting up and did a really good job in a timely manner installing. He also made sure to stay a little extra to give us the info and teach us how to work our new system.

The installers were kind and courteous. They kept me informed at all times. They were amazingly efficient. They were my saviors after ADT left me without a system for two weeks after their components failed. I’ve completely lost faith in ADT and I’m now a happy Vivint customer at half the price that ADT wanted to restore my service. VIVINT, thank you for coming to my rescue!

I was very pleased with my experience. The installer was very knowledgeable, professional, and patient with me as I am not tech savvy. Based on my experience thus far, I would have no hesitation recommending Vivint. I am looking forward to using this system.

Well 1st 24 and haven't set it off by mistake yet so I say that's a win. The tech was great (Roden). In and out. No problems, very helpful and I never felt obligated or pushed into something I didn't want. However you wanted fair so it's still early. Hits only 4 star.
