Tech installation was smooth and very helpful in understanding each piece of equipment. Very friendly and ensured everything was installed properly. It also didn’t take long at all for the install. I’ve only had the service a few days and I love it. The service representative who came out to install the unit was very nice and professional. The service was great and I love the cameras so far. I would recommend this company to friends and family. I also plan to get more cameras in the future. The cameras are very clear and my alarm system went off a few times by accident and they started reaching out right away so I feel more secure in the home with my kids.

Katherine was kind, patient with bad internet and very helpful. She explained everything well and made our installation pleasant. The equipment is top shelf. Katherine had good support from her team back at the office. The teamwork was superb. Katherine is very knowledgeable and skilled. She interacted with our grandkids in a kind loving way saying when she was going to run the drill so they could cover their ears.

The Representative that got me started with the registration of Vivint was very helpful on the products Vivint offers. Ten, Mr. Jorge ** was very helpful and informative when he came to install the cameras and alarm system. He answered all my questions! The first appointment for install was canceled when the guy never showed up. In "Notes" on my account installer stated no one was home. That's a lie. Garage open, radio on, motorcycle on driveway, truck out front. I was home. He lied. It was a cold morning, want to reschedule,? Fine! Just don't lie and say no one was home. 2nd install by different installer went fine. However it is broken up into two visits. That's all for now. Thank you.

In the beginning my husband and I were going to give up on them because of the schedule time for installation had to be rescheduled due to the technician had an emergency and no one notified us. We ended up calling and finding out that information from customer service. We were placing our trust in making the switch from our previous alarm system. Somehow, we missed the second appointment due to a communication error of not using the correct contact number. We were able to still get it installed and cancel the previous service. The technician worked to get us squared away. We like the camera angle view that we received overall now is excellent.

Chris from Minnesota was our sales rep here in El Paso. He did a great job selling the product that we weren’t even in the market for. Very polite, respectful, and approachable. He made sure to follow up on our install and even showed up again to resolve a flaw in the paper work on his own time.

I had been wanting a security system for a while and although Vivint did not come through the first time, the second time was a great experience. From the seller to the awesome technician that came to install it. The technician was so thorough and although he had internet issues, he didn’t lose his patience or his professionalism. He was clean in doing the job and very knowledgeable. He deserves to be acknowledged!

Simple easy and very clear with directions and offers. Installation process was quick and easy to understand. All my questions were answered and the equipment install didn’t take that long. Very flexible on hearing my demands. Product looks good and clean. I love the doorbell. Great assistance with contract review. Tech showed up earlier than expected.

I had a lot of trouble using e-sign. Your professional Josh had so much patience with me. He had to make several attempts to the company to get answers. Tank the technician was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable, and he cleaned up the installation area before he left. He helped me to select the best locations for the equipment and he made sure that I understood how to use the system. I'd give him 50 stars out of 10!!!

We are still getting familiar with using the system. While we have found it to be very easy to use and learn to work, we are still familiarizing ourselves, our family, and our extended family with the operations of the system. We have pleasantly found that new user setup is very user friendly.

We were forced into a new contract or we would have been unable to leave our home without the alarm triggering. We had this system pre-installed at a home we purchased but were never given the PIN for the system. Customer service sent us in circles and threatened to call the cops multiple times over 12 hours (they only actually showed once). Planning to review other options so we can cancel this as soon as possible.
Honesty and integrity come first here at Vivint, and we are so sorry this wasn't your experience, Mary. We will be sending an email your way so we can make this right.

Installation went very well. Kuu and crew were professional and knowledgeable. Kuu walked us through each of the many features on both the hardware as well as the app. The entire consultation as well as install took less than a day. I will be recommending Kuu and Vivint to friends and family in the area.

JR ** provided excellent service, was on time, he was super communicative before during and after the installation. His tenacity and dedication was very helpful. JR made recommendations for add ons that were valuable to the owner & tenant and gave us time to discuss and decide. No pressure. All calls with Vivint have been professional. Informative and helpful. We purchased a home as an investment /rental that had a Vivint system installed. Initially we didn’t activate the system, but decided to activate recently. And now the tenant and the homeowner have additional peace of mind.

I just had my Vivint alarm installed. Both the sales and the installation experience were great. The communication and available options were well explained, and it was easy to make adjustments to fit my needs. I would recommend Vivint to someone looking to install an alarm system and/or cameras. I will probably add features in the future, and Vivint makes it easy to do so. Vivint made it easy.

I normally do not answer or turn people away rather quickly when they knock on my door but I am lucky that Vivint was persistent! I am so happy with my new security system!! The salesperson was very kind and personable! He definitely helped me make the right decision to protect my home and kids! The install took far longer than expected- over three hours and they moved things around inside my home but were courteous and helpful. Overall very satisfied with my new system!!

They did a quick installation, friendly workers and customized package to fit your needs, everything is in one and pricing was decent. The features are super nice and easy to use and help us feel safe and hopefully deter thieves with the outdoor camera with spotlight. We love the quality of the videos and the ability to talk through the cameras. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for great service and high quality equipment and safety.

Vivint sent someone out to install the full system, which included a smart thermostat. Somehow an estimate of 50-odd dollars/month before installation crept up to over $80/month on the day of installation! Worse, the technician installed the thermostat incorrectly. When we turned on the heat we got cold air and when we turned on the cold air we got emergency heat. We figured this out a few hours after installation and contacted him, but he refused to return to remedy the situation. Upon calling customer service, they told us we had to pay an HVAC person to come out and fix it! I canceled the next day, but they dragged out sending anyone out to collect the equipment. Now they are saying I didn't cancel within the 3 day window and claim that I'm responsible for the cost of the equipment (almost $3,000)!
In the course of all of this, we discovered they have a history of illegal, unethical, and shoddy business practices (see why their CEO was fired in 2021). This latest smart thermostat allows the company that bought them in November 2023, NRG, to monitor your usage patterns, which is why they include this in the system. I have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau and will tell everyone I meet my story (which I assure you isn't over).

Vivint made the process super simple, from the arrival to the sit down and explanation process. Soon after deciding we were going to switch companies we learned that the install crew would be there within an hour! Our installer, Kyle came on time, did quick and efficient work. He explained everything to me. Made sure I understood and was very professional the entire time. He showed me where the cameras were and the way to change the desired areas to monitor. The battery on the door gave out and he came back to change it, no problems. Definitely will recommend Vivint to my family and friends.

The gentleman that came in was thorough, knowledgeable and quick with the process. The product itself has been what both my wife and myself have wanted. Very easy to use and we feel safe so far. I’m grateful for my experience with Vivint’s install team. The rep was so nice and thorough. Great setup and the rep was very personable. The only thing I’d change would be having to pay a deposit with them, I feel like that could’ve all been finished prior to their arrival. But I get that sometimes people change their minds. Johnathan was very professional and respectful. I would recommend him 100 times over. He explained the product very thoroughly. I did not feel as if Jonathan was a home security technician. The guy that came out was very nice. I wasn’t expecting someone with tattoos on his face. But I can tell that he was well trained. And he’s making a living for his self. He was well educated on the products and help me hide a camera from my teenage daughter. So that was a plus. He was trained well.

Very informative and professional. My install was a little complicated because my house is 95 years old. He was able to troubleshoot and figure out the best support plan. It was a rainy day so we had to work around that.

Justin was on time per our pre-arranged schedule, explained everything thoroughly, and proceeded with the installation in an efficient and professional manner, and in accord with our preferences regarding equipment placement. I am very pleased with my purchase of a new wireless Home Security System and excellent installation process. The equipment is high quality and reasonably priced. Includes good options to spend what you can afford for your budget starting at a few hundred dollars for a basic system or spend more for a more complete system. Can always add on more equipment later as you can afford.

Mr. ** was also quick setting up the camera system and did it very nicely to where you can’t even tell where the wires come in. The cameras are not too big or too small and the picture is very clear. The censors on the doors and windows are also not big and not noticeable which is nice. Also using the system is pretty easy and self explanatory. We are so far satisfied with everything.

I had them installed, and for 5 months, the system kept dropping off the cellular, and the panel did not work. I went through hell, and they want me to pay for the monthly fees and are trying to hold me responsible for paying for the entire 3-year contract when their system does not work. The technician didn't show up 3 times when they scheduled to come to my house. I took time off from work, and they didn't show. I called them, and they continued giving me the runaround. Save your money and go with ADT or another reliable company. If you google this company, you will see that they use search engine tactics to hide their lawsuits and bad BBB reviews.

This is the second home I have installed a Vivint security system in and I continue to be pleased with my buying experience. The reps on the phone were very helpful and did everything they could to find me discounts and explain everything clearly. When the installer came out, they explained everything clearly, confirmed my order, and still called in to make sure there weren’t any other available discounts. I will continue to work with Vivint and will recommend them over and over again.

Very good customer service, the technician was very knowledgeable but he take a long time. He came in at 10.00 am and left after 1:40 pm. Other than that I like the service, the affordability and the security for my house, I became a widow in October and this gives me a peace of mind when I am at work. I work 3 hours away from my house and come home every other week, this will be the best investment that I have done this year.

Equipment has never worked and even the installation technicians and office technicians were not able to make it work. There have been 3 separate installation technicians and 10-12 office technicians that have tried to get the system installed over the last 5 months, but no one has been able to make it work.

My experience with installer Jordan was great. Explained every part of the process to me and even helped get my internet back up and running which wasn’t even his problem! Only problem I have was the sales rep who got me to purchase Vivint told me I’d be paying around $70 a month for I believe 3 months then it’s drop down once I paid off the equipment, never mentioned a credit check which has now brought my payments to $100 a month!
If I would have known there was a credit check I would have told my wife to put her name on account being as her credit is better. Not only that but also I was roped in by $2000 worth of free equipment and a free install being as we just bought a house. All together it came to over $3000 because I guess the size of my house? I have no idea, none of this was explained to me and I’m honestly really upset with the situation. I feel like I was lied to or only given portions of the truth to lure me into purchasing. It be nice to receive an email or phone call to help explain all this because I’m paying way more than I was initially told I would. I’m a disabled vet and thought this would be a good idea to help protect my home and family and I’m starting to regret my decision.

Product is incredibly easy to use, and has made my day to day life so much more convenient. My favorite piece of equipment is the door-lock. It makes walking in and out of the house much easier, especially when people visit or leave packages. I can have trusted individuals go and put my package inside my house when I’m not there. We had to call Vivint over 10 times to finally get the account our home’s previous owners had transferred to our name. They have some special transfer team that is supposed to call you back, but when they don’t your only recourse is to call the main customer service line and again complain that you’ve not been contacted yet. The main customer service team also can’t contact the house transfer team, which makes them kinda useless when you call. And then, when the transfer team does finally call, you have to be home and available for at least 30 minutes to do the setup.
It was incredibly frustrating given I had no ability to ask for a specific callback time and couldn’t get in touch with right team directly. If it weren’t already set up in the house I would have just canceled and used another service. Also you can’t even have the customer service line cancel your account - wait for a callback. I will say the agent from the transfer team that finally did call me was very knowledgeable and helpful.

My install was yesterday and I am sooo happy I made the switch from ADT to VIVINT. My install tech, Roden, was very professional and took his time explaining everything, even while my dogs were barking incessantly. No pushy sales tactics and the new cameras smoke my old outdated ones. I don't know why it took me so long to make the switch? If you even have an inkling that you want a change in security providers, just pull the trigger and give VIVINT a call, you won't regret it!

The service was okay, normal security company. But I am in the military and move a lot, so I canceled when I sold my house. They have charged me every month for 7 months now. I have called to cancel every month, because you can’t do that online. Their site doesn’t let you remove auto-pay. Everything has to be done on the phone. Every month they tell me I’m getting a refund and they will cancel my account. I don’t know if it’s a lie or they’re incompetent.

I want to be very candid that I was totally impressed with the installation people!!! That I was very disappointed the system failed within 24 hours. Then the compound my frustration and dissatisfaction trying to get through to a customer service rep was so aggravating I finally gave up. I tried at least five times and spent an hour wasting my time. Now I have a system that doesn’t work. I did try to contact the installer yesterday and have not heard back from him I assume because of the weekend? I’m not very happy.

Brian was very polite and walked me through a variety of options that were available for my home. Installation was quick. The technician was also very polite and knowledgeable. So far this Vivint system is far better than my previous brinks system. I’m paying the same as my previous system, but I now have an extra driveway camera and can now open my garage through my phone.

Angel was knowledgeable. He answered all my questions I had about the system. Also, I didn't expect the install to happen the same day so that was great. I also like the fact that the panel is so self explanatory. But the best thing about this system is that my kids don't have to go to the door when someone is at the door, they can go to the panel and see who it is.

My service tech was very thorough and accurate with getting equipment installed and very helpful. Only thing I would like to see him do is pick up his trash or ask me to throw it away. Will be doing some upgrades before the year is out. We also needed an extension cord to place one of my cameras and the solution was I can do that the customer. That was not the answer I was looking for. The answer should have been, "If you have an extension record I can get it fixed up for you like you want it" but instead he was like, "When you get the extension you can fix that." I was like, "Okay" and he said he didn't have no extension cords on his truck which is understandable but I would like to have done it in the way for the camera where you can make your own cord.

I am not good at technology. I was pleased with My tech Angel who took her time with me to reset my equipment and make sure all my questions had been answered. I had a problem with my email allowing me to use app on my phone as well. Angel walked me through the reset of that as well and had me test it out so I was comfortable with it.

I give them a four star only because I do not like the fact they need a deposit (refundable) and an agreement signed to have the technician come over just to give us estimate. What a great experience. I was updated consistently on the arrival of my technician who by the way was very knowledgeable, respectful of my property and assessed my order to ensure it really fitted my needs once he was onsite to view the property. Following installation he walked us through all of the features to ensure we were confident that we could work system. I was also really impressed with the contract confirmation process that was completed via FT and recorded along with aid comparison to ensure I was truly the applicant.

The customer service representative over the phone was very resourceful. The installation technician was very informative and provided great personable skills. Tim was very knowledgeable about his job and the equipment. Moreover, Tim recommended other great products that may be beneficial for my home security. I recommend a family member. He was also able to provide services for my cousin. The equipment appears very easy to use; although I wish the equipment had a longer backup battery life, in case of power outages, I would still have protection.

The sales process of buying into the service was very smooth. The service was in my name for my elderly mother. After two years of using the service, my mother took a turn for the worst and no longer able to live independently. I tried to cancel the service for now two months, starting on December 1st, 2023, without any success. I have tried to cancel four times over the last two months, with very long phone calls. I even received a service charge for Dec. 2023 and Jan. 2024, when the system is completely offline.
I was given a long reading of the policy on cancellation during the first call, and was told I couldn't cancel because my mother is not on the account. I also was told I had to pay off the equipment loan to cancel the service on a different call. I then was told on my third call that I had to pay the service charges when the service is offline. I said no. I was threatened that my credit score will be impacted if I don't pay. I have filed a dispute with my bank and block the charges from coming in.

The installers did an amazing job. I am super disappointed in the sales rep the price was $1,000 more than discussed and I didn’t add anything on. The manager brought it down and took $500 off because I was going to turn away the installers. He acted like he was doing me a favor when I had in writing very much clarified the overall price with the sales rep. Seems like false advertising to me. I still might cancel.

Tech was a little late but did communicate their adjusted arrival time. Install was smooth except the garage door was not updated correctly and does not with through app. Tech had an additional appointment afterwards and was worried about getting there on time. Seems techs can use some additional help to complete jobs faster or more time between appointments.

If I could give a zero-star rating, I would. Vivint is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Their customer service department is based in the Philippines and cannot solve a single problem, but they can either drop the call directly or put you in a queue that seems pre-programmed to drop the call. You can ask to be transferred to a US-based representative, which means you go into the queue and usually get one of two results, neither of which involves speaking to a US-based rep: A) the queue takes you back to a Philippines-based rep, or B) the queue ends in a dropped call. Their cameras go offline every few weeks, often requiring a technician's assistance - if you're lucky enough to finagle an arrangement with one. To schedule a technician appointment, you'll fight a long battle against someone who can only recite company-dictated responses. My recommendation is to go with Google Nest, or anything else that's not Vivint.

I was hesitant at first when I read some bad reviews. However I liked my sales guy Alejandro and Cherry. I got a lot more for more money than what I had at ADT. It's only been two days and the equipment is nice and I love my thermostat. Bottom line I'm happy so far. Jonathan the technician was amazing and did a great job on installation. I would recommend them.

It was very difficult to set up my logon in both my smartphone and the website. This is the worst website I’ve seen in years. It took 27 emails and I still have not straightened out my password to my account. Again this is the worst system I’ve ever seen.

My experience with the Christian ** was excellent. I spoke with someone on the phone, 1/16. He gave me a quote. It turned out to be invalid. Spoke with Mitchell **, he gave one price over the phone and emailed a different price. He did not respond to my request for a correction. Very disappointed with phone contacts. Everyone was great! From start to finish in about 2 hours. Very happy with end result. Only thing I would change is some of the windows have the detector on the bottom windowsill ledge thing. Rather have them all up top. Possibly no room on my windows. That’s why they did it like that.

Everything was great! I love the panel, the doorbell and the spotlight with floodlight. The sensors were placed in good spots! The tech used discrete sensors that went in the door jams. Only thing I can say to improve on is have your techs give the customer signs and stickers after their install. I want people to know who I invested in.

Vivint is a great product but installation made my hallway look horrible. I have no idea why they would leave this outlet looking like this. Everything else seems to be okay other than the most noticeable outlet in the house. Came in and installed everything rather quickly but that is not always a good thing I guess.

Zac was very friendly and nice. No issues with installation. Issue was 24 hours later. Inside alarm was chirping non stop. Stated it was dirty but it's brand ne. Called the salesperson who states he was working on it. Only to find out that nothing was done. Had to remove it and take out the batteries. Still nobody came. Called yesterday and they needed to make an appointment and it wasn't for Monday the day I was home. I can't be taking time off from work to wait on a person to fix something that is brand new. Next appointment was a week out. Now I'm cancelling it because something is beeping on the panel and have no idea what is going on.

Roberto is great. We are still needing a few devices, but awaiting an electrician. Using the system and it’s great so far and much better than our previous system. Small homes large homes giving has a plan that will suit your needs. Personnel were professional and friendly. 4k resolution is amazing. Will be setting up phones apps and goodies today. On today's divided world it adds a layer of security I recommend. We love 6 hours from the weakest border in national History so it makes sense to be able to secure and monitor your home with the advantage of never having to unlock your door to have a conversation as the voice communications feature is all you need. Will ** is fantastic person. He has honest eyes, great handshake and his personality is strong. I have a masters in social work and he has strong work ethics. You would be a fool to lose him. The installers were very nice they started late afternoon and did not finish until 10 pm. Not their fault but you should not have workers in homes during supper times.

Josh showed up 1/2 hourly which was great. He did a great job and had answers to all my questions. Great job!! Next day one glass sensor was not on line. I called Josh and it will be fixed today. Site easy to use and much better than old company that was fired for 3 no show service appointments in 2 months. (Brinks). Vivint is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Good service.

I really hate this company. They are so frustrating and their contracts are awful. If you have autopay and update your payment (let’s say if you changed your card), and it doesn’t go through, you get NO notification about it, and therefore don’t have an opportunity to fix it. You only find out about it after the next pay cycle occurs and they charge you for both months plus a late fee. You can’t opt out of their surveillance service unless you buy out their equipment which is absolutely ridiculous. Their equipment is over the top expensive and triple or quadruple the price than it should be. So you’re stuck paying for years and can’t break away from them. It sucks. You’re better off with Ring. Save yourself and don’t bother with this company.

When I was approached by the sales representative, I was uncertain as to whether I could switch my service or not, so I contacted my solar panel company and sure enough, I could, so I called the sales representative back, as he had left me his card and he and I got a package put together that suited me and my household perfectly and the installer was there within the hour to make everything come to fruition. It was fantastic the way everything was pulled together so quickly and I had more coverage than the other plan for approximately the same amount of money. I couldn't believe, it was all done in a matter of two days, from start to finish, when the sales representative first talked to me.

Both the salesman and installation tech were very professional however none of my personal devices are working. I haven't been able to receive video. I can't monitor my system if I can't monitor my system. Not useful at all. Will probably discontinue the service. This is a problem that, on the first day, leads me to believe it will be an ongoing problem. For the price, I'm not impressed in the least.

My initial response was amazing took my sales rep no time at all to reach out regarding my interest. Secondly my sales rep made a great first impression and built a relationship with me over the phone, which is extremely hard to do. I give him a 11/10 stars. Went above and beyond what anyone could ever ask for. The next rep I spoke to was a customer service rep, she was beyond helpful and super kind to speak with. Next I had my install rep, he went above and beyond as well. Showed me how I can use all my equipment and made sure I got everything I asked for plus more that I didn’t even know I needed. Isaac did a great job selling me on the product. He did call at the worst time possible but he did a great job and made the sale. Then Benji did our install the next day but he was great. Answered all our questions and didn’t mind the dogs sniffing him while he worked around the house. Great guys. Excited to use the new security system!

Our technician was wonderful and very polite and made sure everything was to our satisfaction before he left. Also he was very sweet about my dog and my wife's comfort. Good man all the way around. Can't say enough good things about my initial experience thank you. Also equipment seems a lot better than what I had before from a different company.

The technician was very professional and thorough and explained things very well. The system seems user friendly and there is a good range with what the camera picks up. My daughter and her husband use Vivint and love it and I definitely plan on referring a few people, and I like that the company has good reviews.

Very Professional and Thoughtful Technician. Excellent in explaining the system and overall functionality. I would highly recommend him for service calls as well as troubleshooting. I appreciated him going over the application process and making connections that gave me better pricing. Because of Alex the entire process even though time consuming seemed seamlessl. The tech guy was great and friendly! He installed the cameras where they were supposed to go and he knew what he was doing. He installed the sensors as well in all of our windows and showed me how to navigate the tablet screen and the Vivint application on my phone.

Installer was very thorough and explained everything so it was easy for me to understand. Great job. Also he helped my wife to understand the system and how to get the app on her phone. The installer answered all my questions. Simply job well done.

Very professional experience from start to finish. Would definitely recommend. I called on Sunday and Monday they were out to install. Work was done in a professional manner and everything was explained. Anyone considering an alarm system should strongly consider giving Vivint a try. From start to finish, my needs were exceeded.

We loved our sales man! He was very kind and trustworthy. Morgan made sure we were all on the same page and understood how it worked. Installation went well, the Tech was on time and was very nice. They let me know exactly what I was paying for and what I was getting. After that they did a great job at installing and making sure everything was done correctly. After the install they showed me how to use my equipment.
