I had a great experience with Vivint from sales to the appointment to installation. The sales team went the extra mile to get a system that would fit into my budget that would offer me the protection I needed. The appointment team were so cooperative and help me change my appointment because I needed my alarm system installed as soon as possible. What stood out the most was the installer is the installer was so helpful. He came in and started with a consult about my choices, he made recommendations based on my needs and installed my unit professionally. He explained how each aspect of the system works and how I would benefit from each apparatus that is part of my system. I will recommend Vivint to anyone looking to install an security system. I feel the cost was reasonable and the 24/7 monitoring will benefit me and help me to sleep better at night. I think it will help anyone that gives this company a try.

We were told the technician would arrive between 4p-8p and take about two hours. The technician didn’t arrive till 10p and finished at midnight. The main panel was also installed a bit crooked. We are happy with actual security system though and it has been working ok since the install last night.

My brother recommend Vivint to me and I couldn't be happier with the experience so far. Richard and Josh (the technicians) were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with installation. Richard took a look around our house and gave us advice on what he thought we needed. Was honest about exposed wires, etc. Really made the process simply for us. Love the technology of the system so far. We feel safer already. Thank you!

Very professional and excellent customer service. I'm happy with all my new system. They explain how everything works and the best part is the price. I know for sure my house is protected. Thank you for the fastest service I have gotten in my life, they work fast and very productive and no damages on my walls.

Vivint team members all are very informative, very prompt and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and friendly when it came to answering any questions my wife and I had. We knew we wanted to go renewable, but did not want to commit to buying solar and battery too soon. This is a great program and I would recommend it to any friends and family. Technician was awesome. He did a good job at explaining everything and was really helpful throughout the process. He was very respectful of the property and polite to everyone in the house. Very accommodating of other deliveries since we had other people in and out of the house delivering different items. Overall would recommend him to friends and family.

Regional door to door salesman broke everything down very simplistic. I was very impressed that they were able to do same day installation which kept me from having to take time off work. The installation tech was extremely professional, kind and his manners were impeccable! He explained everything to me and was patient with all of my additional questions. So far my experience has been much better than the 3 years I was with ADT.

The installation crew was great! They were nice, informative and got it done quick. Nothing left behind and left everything very clean. I’d recommend Vivint to anyone who’s looking for a security system. Very affordable, sleek designs and the app is very user friendly. We got cameras, door locks, door sensors and the panel and everything was installed to our liking and exactly where we wanted it all.

Great customer service. Right up front with the offers and service available. Gave easy to use instructions on how to operate the alarm system. Installation took around 15 - 20min. Looking forward to a long relationship with Vivint.

Our salesman was very professional, answered all questions, and very courteous. Our installer also very professional, courteous, and cleaned all areas he worked in. Richard was amazing!!! Knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He made the process easy. One thing that disappointed me was during the initial phone call no one asked if I was referred to Vivint by family or friend. So the person that referred me would get the credit. Richard had to inform me on the referral process.

The only thing I would change about my experience is they need company cars so they are easier to identify. I don’t have any more recommendations other than that one. The overall experience was very good and I would recommend them to someone else.

Both Molly and Robert were so helpful throughout the whole set up. They told us everything they were doing as they did it. I didn’t feel like I didn’t know what was going on. The tech even had to work two days in our home and he was nothing but courteous. 10 out of 10. I will recommend to friends and family.

Shannon assisted with the installation of an install for my ederly dad. She was 20 minutes early. Her service, knowledge, communication was impeccable. She took her time explaining the system and its functionality. She also made great recommendations on how to use the system. I will be switching over to Vivint soon.

I absolutely love my system, very well worth the money and my sense of protection. The doorbell camera is amazing and the motion detection lets me know when there is movement in my house even if I'm not there. I will definitely tell family and friends to try out Vivint.

Someone had been attempting to break in my garage but I didn’t have a front camera and the add on was too expensive through my current security company. Nia approached me while I was in driveway and she was so pleasant, I decided to hear her out. I’m glad I did because she was so informative and patient. She really took the time to show me the system and how it would benefit my household. And it was HOT outside but she was not bothered. She sent Dominic to install the system and I was impressed. It was dark outside and there were mosquitos but he never complained and he took his time. His installation looks top-notch, even better than the other company. It’s only been a day with this company but so far I am very impressed.

I’m definitely impressed with everyone from the sales rep to the equipment installer. Admittedly, I was skeptical about the whole process at first but I am thrilled that everything was great! Paul is a great salesman and know his stuff. Zach, the installer is very efficient and does his due diligence to make sure no stone is left unturned and question is left unanswered. Impeccable service and def would recommend to a friend!

My rep Dylan ** was great. I was looking into security systems for my home and he showed up at the perfect time. I was with ADP in the past and did not like their service. Dylan was helpful and informative with his explanations of all the benefits of service. The 3 man team that did the installation that night was very quick and efficient. The system works great and gives me the extra feeling of security I was looking for. A+ experience. Keep up the great work.

The representative, Gustavo **, was very friendly and professional. He accurately described everything we needed to know to make an informed decision and answered all of our questions. He was very patient and kind in his treatment of us. I would gladly recommend Vivint and Gustavo to other potential customers.

Michael was the alarm system technician for my home. He was AMAZING, friendly and patient. We had a couple issues but he remained and made sure the system was working properly. Kudos to Michael ** he even gave us his card with his number to call him if there were any additional issues. We did have one and he returned to the residence and made sure all was taken care of.

These guys are the best. They arrived on time and left on time. In between they completed their work with efficiency and without invading my life. It was like they weren't even here. And the system is great. It has a better picture on the monitor then I have on my TV! Crystal clear. I am glad I have it. Well worth the money.

Professional and very attentive to answer our questions and concerns. They work well together and made sure to made us aware of every step even if they were to make a little noise, important since wife works from home. Would definitely recommend for anybody who is looking for a security system.

Jason came out to install our Vivint security system and we’re loving it so far! Jason was very informative and made it an enjoyable installation. Will definitely recommend him to anyone we can. The picture quality is great and gives us enormous peace of mind. The app is user friendly. I love that I don’t get a notification every time a car passes by. Great experience all around

Tech was very nice! He walked me through everything he was doing, explaining why he was doing it, he explained the reason for better positions for equipment, and was helpful since we have never had a system before. Even when explaining the system, he made it very easy to understand. I definitely give this tech/installation a 10/10. Will be recommending the system to many friends and family.

The Team was very informative with every step they were taking. They worked quick and were very helpful. I will definitely recommend anyone in my circle to Vivint. Everyone was awesome! Kam explained everything like the different products to choose from and what would be a good fit for me. My system was installed that day and the techs were awesome too. Everyone made everything easy and relaxed and they were very fast and efficient. I highly recommend Vivint.

The technicians (2) were two young ladies. Very were nice but very unprofessional. They seemed to have no idea what they were doing. They were complaining about someone named Scott overworking them. Complaining about jobs and hours they are given. They left trash, wood debris from drilling and visual holes in our walls. One of the girls had to go sit in the car to “cool off” because she was tired and irritable towards the other girl. She was pacing around all over the place like she didn’t know what she was doing or couldn’t find certain things. It was just very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable with the decision I made to go with ViVint.. I would really like another technician to come out and recheck everything to ease my worries.

We loathe door to door salespeople in our house, but Vivint did a great job at being respectful and not pushing us. We have been looking for a home security system so we weren’t a hard sale. Previous home security salespeople tried using scare tactics like what if your house catches on fire and your dog is inside, but Vivint did not do this. They were aware the only real crime around here is car break ins. We then had 2 fantastic technicians who were very respectful and knowledgeable install the system. The solar guy pitched us too and he was very knowledgeable about retail value and our concerns with solar. I don’t want to rate on the system yet as it has not been 24 hrs, but so far I am very impressed. Overall great experience that did not leave me feeling like I was pushed into something I wasn’t looking for.

Overall very good experience, tech was professional and courteous. Despite it being a hot day he got it all done without taking a break. Only small negative comment would be that when setting up cameras I would’ve liked to see a test view before final install to see if there was anything obstructing the camera sector. Had to make adjustments last minute but the tech was able to without complaint.

My technician was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. He was able to answer my questions with full explanation as well as examples. I would recommend him to anyone. He was very understanding when I was frustrated due to my recent break in. You definitely need to have a good technician to install your system.

Vendor is well knowledgeable about what he is selling the product camera set. Installer was polite and courteous. I am thankful for the service. I am recommending this service to my family and friends to buy it. This is all I have to say. It’s not expensive and very affordable. That’s all I have to say.

Justin was very respectful and provided a list of all the items I needed and adjusted as needed during the initial review and after installation. Francois was helpful and stayed until all our needs were met. Finally, Mia did an awesome job installing everything and utilized systems already in place that meshed. I would highly recommend to all of my family and friends.

We’ve been in the market for an upgrade for our security cameras for quite some time. And it has been several years since we have heard from our home alarm provider. So having the Vivint sales rep pay us a visit was great timing. Upon agreeing to having a new security system with full camera coverage installed, a Vivint team of installation and set-up techs arrived at the house. The system was installed and tested within 5 hours. All of the techs were very polite and did a great job.

Install guy (Michael) was very nice and thorough in his explanations of how the equipment/app/hub works. However, our doorbell camera stopped working within 2 hours of install and support hasn't been helpful. After 2 hours, the doorbell camera is still not working and a technician might not be out for one week. In addition, one of our outlets that the technician hooked the hub into is no longer flush and is a safety hazard, as well as there is a small hole in the wall by our back door where he drilled the sensor. Also, there are wood shavings that weren't vacuumed from the sensor installation.

Super easy! My salesperson Juan was absolutely amazing! And the technicians were like Johnny on the spot. Same day installation, and they were in and out in about an hour! I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends!

Mark was so friendly, timely and professional. Everything went perfectly. He had all the equipment with him when he arrived. He came up with a way to mount the iPad on a wall with no power source. I even had a question after he left, and he answered my call and my question promptly!

Dominick helped install my home security system and did a flawless job setting everything up. The system looks modern and I even got a keypad door lock that disarms and arms the system. The panel has great camera views. The price is a bit on the higher side but it’s negotiable. It is worth the price considering the additions you get. The customer service is 24/7 and a local team not overseas. I highly recommend them!!! Thank you.

Overall A positive experience. Harold the installer was very knowledgeable, and professional explained everything in detail. My options for equipment was extensive. I have had Vivint for 8 months in Galveston. If you have an issue - they don’t have the crew to come service your equipment. Please use a local company. They don’t have the time or crew to take care of the customer.

Both customer service (I believe his name was Dwayne) and installer technician RJ were very pleasant to work with. Installation was a bit difficult because of the way it was set up previously It did take a bit more time. I would like to get our Front Door connected so I can use the app to be sure the door is locked.

The sales rep started off by say “Let me build your dream package”. We asked how much for three items because Vivint is already installed in our home by the owner/landlord. All we wanted was a doorbell ring, outdoor camera, and panel (required by salesman). We paid $902 with debit card upfront think we paid for products in full (this includes first monthly payment he said is required). We asked sales rep again, "What did we pay for" and he said the products we ordered. We read contract and he added in $2599 of additional products to contract that was already 2599.00 and another for Vivint monthly.

The process explained. The tech that came out was good and helpful. Thank you. The response was quick from the sales representative, although he did not mention some of the prices, I still went ahead and purchased the security system. The tech was on time and provided lot of knowledge. I would recommend this company to others also.

The service is outstanding and I really appreciate the customer service Vivint provides. The technician walked me through step by step on how to set up my alarm system. The two guys that came to my house and installed the system were amazing. Very smart. They got it done. They did what they needed to do with the equipment. They had that to come back on Saturday because they did the inside today and Saturday they’ll do the outside. I hope the same two guys come back because they know what they’re doing.

He was very nice, set up quick, explained everything I needed to know!! He cleaned up after himself. Made sure my app was working and could see everything correctly! I have two Vivint account active, my mom's and mine and made sure I could still see both!! A++ for him.

The tech who set up my services was wonderful and very helpful. The doorbell was not working and he fixed this so my security system would work. I am very pleased with the system and the helpful customer service. I would recommend them for setting up a security system. The system is very easy to use.

I’m happy with set up, just not the salesman information. We were told we would not be charged anything until we decided to keep it, which for us it would be May 30th. We were charged a set up fee. That was not part of the deal. The salesman never mentioned anything about a set up fee.

Everybody I spoke to was very open and willing to do anything to make my experience 10/10. I would repeat this same process anytime because it was hassle free and everybody made my time worth it. Kurt was a great help and he is welcome back to my home anytime. I’d refer VIvint to anybody.

The sales team was excellent in identifying the appropriate equipment that was needed for the house. They went into extensive detail about what would be covered and the cost of everything post installment payments. The installation team was professional, courteous and ensured that everything was functional prior to their departure.

Cameras are great, service tech needs a little extra hands on experience. The compliance tech did a horrible job. Put a big hole in my wall inside my house. Wasn’t very happy about that at all. That’s why I wanted wireless cameras install instead of wired. Need to look into getting some wireless cameras so you won’t have to drill through walls.

I was in the market for a new alarm system. I was listening to the presentation by the rep over a relative's house. Was very impressed with the system and payments. The offer was a Memorial Day special and I need to make a decision quickly. Long story short my credit was pulled twice. I wasn't aware. The rep never mentioned it that I was taken out a loan for the system. I received emails congratulating me on my line of credit. After so many hours of the technician putting in the new system he also made me aware and called his boss as well which I have not received a call.

First let me say Christian ** was great with his presentation and he made it very clear and not pushy. Zachary the tech and his assistant were extremely efficient, helpful and explained everything wonderfully, they went above and beyond what I expected. They both were very friendly and so patient and cleaned up afterwards, which was nice. I would definitely recommend all 3 gentlemen.

I was extremely happy with the excellent service. The tech showed up later in the evening and stayed till job was finished. The tech was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without hesitation. Very professional in every aspect of the job. Tech worked quickly and proficiently, would highly recommend.

The technician was very patient. I had set up the security installation with Utility Connect (a great service for setting up your new home) and had made the appointment a week prior to moving in. I could not remember the exact quote but seemed higher than I remembered it being. This was because I made some last minute changes and didn't get a new quote (my fault plus couldn't remember exactly with the chaos of closing on a house and all that it entails). The technician was very extremely accommodating with cutting back on items to fit a budget and also called to see if their were any other discounts vacant could provide. He also gave me his card and stated I could call him as well as customer support or go online if I had any questions. Sure enough, I had a question about 2 hours later, called him and he walked me through and resolved it. I have only had my system a few days but so far I love it.

The gentleman that provided the service to my house was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. He was extremely timely and very helpful. He arrived on time and was very detailed and once he was shown the area, he went to work with no issues or concerns from myself nor anyone else. I would definitely recommend him and the service to anyone that I feel would benefit!

Both VIVINT technician were professional and helpful at answering any questions concerning my new security system which they installed. They took the time to ensure that my security system was working properly before leaving, and cleaned up their working area. I am very pleased with the service I received on this Memorial day.

Tyler was extremely friendly. He stayed an extra 30 minutes just to ensure everything was working properly and answer all questions. He was very understanding when working with us. Another huge plus was that our dogs were very comfortable with Tyler being in our house when they've previously had issues with servicemen being in our space. 10/10 would recommend.

My sales person knocked on the door and the greater experience started there. We were asked what we were looking for after the video and then was offered a great package with the assistance from his manager. We all came to an agreement and. What blew my mind was that the installation was the same day and quick. We had a walk through of the services and the rest is history. I would definitely recommend Vivint.

Everything about the quote, purchase, and installation was super easy. I highly recommend using Vivint. The installation technician was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The cameras work well and have a very clear picture in the app as well as the hub. The app is easy to use and the pricing is very competitive.

Pretty happy with the entire ordeal. Install was fast and professional and the products themselves seem a lot better than systems I’ve used in the past. Cameras are nice and clear with a wide coverage, door lock and thermostat are both simple and easy to use, and the panel itself is really nice and easy to navigate. Adding another user was easy as well, unlike some of the other systems I’ve used. My last system was from Simplisafe, so it’s nice to have something that actually works now and isn’t constantly trying to connect to wifi. Thanks, Vivint!

Overall decent experience. I felt like the top package was pushed even though there were cheaper plans. “You can try it for 3 days and if you want things removed you can.” Becomes difficult when you aren’t sure exactly how much stuff is being installed. Almost like you don't know what you have.

It's okay. The to the company. What else is there to say, just another alarm system. You still have to watch out for scammers. The quality of the equipment depends on the company. As well as the professionalism of the technician. My experience is yet to be determined. It's also very expensive. But we will see how this goes.

Excellent, good job, it’s fair, works very well for now, I just reactivated the system. I will let you know if the Vivint alarm system is to my liking, oh I say in about two to three months from now I should know, but right now I do not know if I will give this a good review yet, but thank you for saying.

Good sales process. Lots of strong follow up and my sales person always had the answers. The installer Keith was amazing. Ran into a few snags but always had a creative solution to suggest. A pleasure to work with. The only surprise I had was a credit app that I had to fill out and authorize a credit check. I did not expect that. I did not want an inquiry and the equipment purchase DOES mean that you finance thru a partner of Vivint's choice. This was the only ding. I hope the after-sales service is as good as the previous sales. Remains to be seen. Fingers crossed.

I’m not happy!! Not happy with the service or the equipment. And not happy with the fact that I was told that I had 60 days to try this service out and then could cancel if we weren’t happy with it, but was not told that even if I did cancel that I would still have to pay for the equipment, that I won’t be using. I think that this is taking advantage of elderly people who will shortly only have their social security check to live off of due to having to have brain surgery. And has Parkinson’s Disease. This information should had been disclosed up front. And this company should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of all people this way but especially the elderly. My wife and I decided to give Vivint a try. The price was better than we expected for what we received. The camera images are clear, the coverage is pretty good. Being able to operate all systems from our phones is very convenient. Our Nest thermostat, which we already had was also able to connect to vivint. My wife likes the garage door open/closing control on the phone because she will sometimes forget to close it.

I have been with ADT for 14 years. But recently I switched over to Vivint home security. Reason for my decision is based on the quality and service provided by Vivint home security. Also I felt I was getting more for my money and paying less than ADT. The installation was done professionally paying close attention to detail making sure everything was in perfect working order.

Great customer service and attention to detail for part of the technician, they help me out answering all my questions and did a good job installing all the equipment, and I have no complaints on the service and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Keep up the god work!

Works great, and very easy to use. The set up was a quick and easy process. The sales rep was very nice and walked us through all of our options. After having the system for almost a week, I don't think I can go back to any other system ever again. We absolutely love this system and have loved using the products!

I have been a residential customer for years but recently added a business account. I had never known about Vivint until I had a break-in and they were the first company that could come out. Since then, I have been happy with my service. My Vivint tech, Connie, is the absolute best! She has helped me on numerous occasions. She's knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Let me start off by saying I don’t trust reviews and I hardly ever leave them. That said, all events that occurred in this review are 100% true. We had wanted a security system for years, so it was already an easy process for us to hear out the sales rep and move forward. He was very polite and respectful. After purchasing the system the techs were at our home within the hour to install it. They were very helpful and courteous to my wife and I. We felt we had the necessary support and were able to have questions answered quickly. They knew what they were doing. Very quick and efficient. I would recommend Vivint to anyone looking for a home security system.

I decided to try Vivint because ADT tried three times in my contract period to change my monthly monitoring price. The outdoor cameras is my reason to try Vivint. The picture is much clearer and the security deterrent was another plus. Any person with bad intentions will be alerted they are being recorded.

The sales rep was Danny was awesome. The two techs were great with their skills, but one of the guys should be more mindful of his hygiene. I do understand that the guys have working all day. That’s why it’s very important to make sure you are prepared for a long day of work.

The video that the salesmen showed us isn’t the quality of we got. The cameras must be less quality because the picture looks bad. Also the with and angels of the cameras are not the best either. I will definitely not keep this system. I’m not satisfied with it. I was tiled I would be getting better quality and I didn’t. There are one or two things that you guys have that are better than my other system but they’re not enough for me to keep this system.

I’m disappointed that my garage door isn’t compatible and consequently I don’t have that part of the service. Although the technicians that installed, everything were very kind and personable, they were here until midnight and that’s just way too late for me. I would’ve scheduled for a different day and time had I been given adequate information.

I think everyone are professional. Very informative, I am still enjoying the experience. Putting in equipment is one thing, let’s see how the years of service work out. My sales guy Gab did a good job of selling. Ivan was a great installer and helpful in explaining how to work everything.

Konrad with a K got right down to business introducing the Vivint Home Security System. He gave me a list of everything Vivint had to offer and customized the system to my home needs. We are on our second day and we love it thus far. Konrad left direct numbers in case we have questions or issues. So here's hoping all continues to go well.

Product is legit. Install was rather lengthy. Technician was very nice. I do have an issue with my garage opener as it was set up on an outlet that only has power when the light switch is on. This outlet will not do. I need to figure out what to do with this now.

The salesperson that came and explained everything to us, was very nice, well mannered and very informative. So far everything has been working according to how he said they would. The installers were great and quick as well. They even came back to help us with the thermostat with no hesitation. A lot of confusion with pricing and financing, but the product seems good. The technician did a very good job and was helpful explaining the app. The backyard cam is very high quality. The amount of notifications seems like it can add up fast. The app does take some getting used to because there is a lot of menu items.

I feel much better now knowing I have eyes on my entire house. Safety eases the mind. Having a spotlight on my driveway will help me when I am returning home after dark. Installation tech, Robert, was great, he did everything in a timely manner. Only issue was trying to set up to the hotspot, but he made sure to go over everything & give me instructions for when I had my wifi. He was very knowledgeable & tried his best to have everything set up & ready to go for when I got my wifi.

Very prompt, polite, friendly, and arrived earlier than expected which was a bonus! No holes, or damage done to the home. They made sure the system was working fine as well & adhered to where I wanted to place the cameras, panel, & sensors. FANTASTIC WORK!

After learning about everything that Vivint does and provides from the representative, the installer was in my home same day installing all the items I chose. It was very fast service. My wife and I chose Vivint for our home security. The salesman Jimi was very helpful and informative. The install team was on schedule. However, this install team didn't leave my home till 9:10PM. So be prepared for the team to be at your house for four hours! I also found wire clippings on my patio and garage floor the next morning. All in all, a good experience.

We were in escrow for a new home that had a Vivint panel. I called to get information about them and they said I had everything I needed already installed to set up a new account. I told them I would call back once we had the keys. In the span of a few days, I had about 15 emails, numerous texts and calls from them about finishing my set up. Way overkill.

Bank contacting me about payments. The install was waived and I would be billed monthly for 60+ dollars. I was billed right away for 20+dollars for something from you. The interview was very shortwave. Told the cost of 60+dollars a month and a guy would come by right away to install. The guy came by, didn't say much just installed and left.

Anthony did a great job setting our cameras, etc. For our home. He just didn't want t to talk to me. When I asked a question, he just acted like I was stupid. Nice guy if you don't ask him anything. When he left he asked if we had questions, I did but didn't want to annoy him anymore than I already had? As far as Andrew's presentation, it was great. Andrew said the technician would show us how to use our system. We are still trying to figure out what to do. The tech was here until midnight so maybe that's why he was annoyed with me?

Sign up lasted about two hours when I was told it would only take about 20 minutes. The representative did not know what he was doing. He called the customer service line for assistance. They couldn’t help him either. I think he called a coworker that eventually was able to assist him in signing me up. The installation process was strange. Initially I was told that they would come that night, which was about 9 o’clock to install then I was told that they were all booked up so they could not come. So they will come the next day and someone just needed to be home to let them in.

I had a truly horrendous experience with Vivint Alarm company. They will trap you in a contract that feels like a legal prison sentence! When I signed up with them, I was never informed about the sneaky clause that handcuffs you to their service even if you relocate and no longer need security services and we have fully paid off the equipment that will be staying at our old home.

My rep Steve was awesome. He thoroughly explained what Vivint has to offer and even personalize the package to accommodate me and my family's needs. A Vivint rep knocked on the door and I started talking to him. Their offer was $20 more a month than ADT. However, what I got for the money was far better. Their system is much better than ADT’s technology and offering. The technician came the same day and was at my house until 10pm installing the equipment. Unbelievable service and very happy with the system so far. It’s nice to actually be able to utilize what I’m paying for every month.

They did great, my technician was incredible, super friendly, super efficient. The representative was very informative. I’ve been thinking about getting Vivint for a while and they solidified my want for it. Eddie informed me of everything that the hub does and set it up very well and was very polite and funny.

This is a sham company. We were lied to from day one about price and performance. There should be a class action lawsuit for fraudulent inducement and failure to provide promised & guaranteed products & service. Your product & service is awful. Shame on you, Vivint!

I switched from Vector Security to Vivint, and I am pleased with my choice. The installer, Tristan, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and everything is working as expected. The doorbell camera alone is worth using Vivint. I am so much happier with it than the previous two doorbell cameras I had. The switch was seamless and I would recommend Vivint to others.

I was very impressed with Eli, our sales rep. He was quite personable and willing to "bend over backwards" to make a smooth transition. I was NOT impressed with the first installer, who after 5 minutes, decided he couldn't (or wouldn't) install the system. A second technician (Issac, I believe) came roughly an hour later and proceeded to install and activate the system.

From the time we booked the installation until the technician left our home, everything went smoothly. The customer service agent on the phone was friendly and helpful. The technician was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable about the system. He was also patient when I had questions. He suggested ways we could save money but also suggested things we may consider to make our home as secure as possible.

Alec did a great job explaining and selling the product to us. They were able to come same day to completely install and looks great and is very functionally. Had some great deals to go along with as well. Got camera in backyard, doorbells on front and side doors, glass breaking technology, garage door access, camera on driveway with deter system. Seems to work great so far.

Our experience with Vivint was the epitome of unprofessional and incompetent. The technician incorrectly installed every part of the system from the control panel, to the cameras, to the doorbell. He "didn't realize" that our outlets were upside down and drilled the hole for the control panel at the wrong location. That was his "bad" so he added an extra outlet so that the unit extends 4 inches from the wall that is completely exposed and quite enticing and dangerous to my 2 year old. He did not measure to drill holes for the back door wiring, simply held up his fingers and said "this looks good enough, right?" and so the wire enters 3 inches above the door frame and is an absolute eyesore.

Salesman was good to work with. Reviewed what I had. Told what I needed to change to make me feel comfortable with the situation. The salesperson was very helpful in helping me decide what was best needed. I love the idea that I can see who is at the door before I open it.

The absolute only 2 issues for not giving 5 Stars are that I have a no soliciting sign on my door, and the salesman had came more than once already. The second is the installation guy had someone come help and they left Plugs and wires on the floor, and wires and screws on the ground outside so it was an additional mess for me to clean up.

Julian and Diego could not have been more friendly, helpful, or professional. They helped us set up an existing system left by previous homeowners and showed us what upgrades or other features we should consider. The technician who came out later the same evening to get everything activated was also great and gave us a detailed demonstration of how everything works.

I had been looking for a NVR system without much success or finding a contractor, Then Jimmy knocked on our door. Jimmy the salesperson, Connor our installer, and Don our electrician were, kind, respectful, and were able to gives us the information we needed to make an informed decision. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with. Connor stayed late to assure that everything was done; Jimmy stopped by twice to make sure everything was going smoothly; and Don was efficient, and very kind. This trio of workers should be on a training video for all new hires. We are completely satisfied with the service we received. Not sure any system can match the quality of these three men.

Good install, quick and easy. Sales guy was good at selling us the package we got. Wish the service did not cost way more than ADT. Hopefully, the service works and if we have a problem in the future you have good customer service. Hopefully, we will get the cameras and more stuff in the future with y'all.

He was not overbearing and let us decide on what we wanted. He was professional and polite. He explained everything in detail. He was also able to get a tech out to the house the same day! The live service was great, easy to walk through. Patience with me all the hood stuff. The reason I say but is I feel like the instructions could have just been emailed to me without making me wait an entire day to access my home's security. The previous owner had access to the system for an entire day, this could have potentially caused huge trouble.

Had Vivint take over my home's hard wired security system. They did a very poor job of wiring and has had several issues since installed. The customer service is not good and still can’t get anyone out to fix the issues.

I have been a Vivint customer for six years. I was pretty happy with this company until November of 2023 when I agreed to update my monitor and doorbell camera as recommended. The order was placed by phone for an agreed price of $500. When the technician came to install weeks later he said that the price was $550. He shrugged his shoulders about the discrepancy in price. The monitor froze within a week or so and I waited many weeks for a technician to come and replace it. I was unhappy with the doorbell playback feature which I paid an additional $300 and asked for my money back right away and was given a run around for many days and hours.

The installer was very nice and knowledgeable with the equipment. It did not take too long for him to set everything up. He walked me through the whole set up. I would love for him to do the rest of my add ons when it comes time. Two thumbs up!

We are so happy with our switch to Vivint. We didn’t know what we were missing. There’s so many new services we have, remote light operation, camera deterrent, remote keyless entry. I’ve had Xfinity for over five years and they were OK not wrong, but there was not a lot of enhancements with this company. They gave me a good price and really good security that I feel would deter criminals much better than Xfinity services. I really am enjoying the floodlight security and the doorbell. I think it’s much better than Ring. The quality of the cameras are much more satisfying. And the fact that they have a whistle sound, which is even more better for the experience. I used to have them a long time ago when I lived with my family. By having them again with their new upgrades it’s really nice.

I will begin by saying the technician, Ben, was great. I think he was more frustrated with the software issues than I was. He would type in the package plan with added insurance and DVR and the contract Vivint sent for me to sign did not match what he put in his tablet (3 times). Tyler explained the system very well, how the integration works and all prices and fees accordingly. C.j. Was very professional and thorough in the install and working the main control unit, testing and ensuring all parts of the system were working and we understood how to function the tablet and app.

Salesperson and technician were both incredibly professional. Both are young, but spoke very well and were very personable. They had answers for all of our questions and if they didn’t they were on the phone immediately. The technician took the time to make sure everything was installed properly and made us aware of what she was doing at all times. She then took the time to walk us through the Vivint app.

Sales associate showed us the demo which really sold us on switching from ring camera. The imaging was clear but after install the imaging was not as clear as shown. The installer said the demo video was different than what the actual product gives which is ridiculous since you’re selling with false information. The install was frustrating since the sales associate also said the system would be hardwired but failed to mention it needed to be close to an outlet which limits your placement options. I will say then gentleman were really nice but I don’t see ourselves keeping this system.

I just got my new system installed today. I had an alarm system with a different company and hadn’t planned to change, but the representative was very nice and explained the Vivint system so well, I decided to. Vivint has more options and especially being able to control it from my phone was a huge advantage. Coulson ** spent a lot of time with me explaining everything I could expect. He even came back after installation to make sure everything went well and answer any other questions I had. I’m 78y/o so I was very appreciative of that.

The best experience I have had with a company. The fact that they do solar and alarm systems is icing on the cake. They did not try and pressure me into buying anything. Their quality is the best I have ever seen. Their employees are professional.and know what they are selling. The most important thing for me was I did not feel any pressure to purchase anything.

Josh came to do the insulation. He was amazing and patient. He taught me how to use the equipment, helped me understand where the best place to put the inside camera would be. He explained the app. I received the lock, doorbell, thermostat, and security. He worked quickly and quietly. He did a wonderful job. Thanks.

I made the decision to change from ADT to Vivint for my home security system today. The men showed up for the install in less than 15 minutes. They worked quickly together to install all the components of the system. Before they left they took time to show me how to use the new system and answered all my questions. They were friendly and courteous.

Carlos came out and set up everything. He reviewed how to use all the equipment with me and my husband. He is amazing!!!! Very helpful and informative. He was very professional and made me and my husband feel comfortable. Thank you for everything and having awesome customer service!

Friendly, got the equipment set up quick, cleaned up, explained & help set up step by step. (Awesome team) I would definitely recommend Vivint to my family and friends.

Excellent presentation, great customer service, waiting for the job to be finished, but I’m sure everything will go smoothly, great pricing, rep. gave me and my wife a good sense of security, will stay on as long as everything remains fair. The sales rep Javed (I think I spelled his name correct) was very professional and knowledgable about the system. He got us set up and had techs onsite to install the same day. We have been trying to get a system for months and he knocks on our door and gets it all done in one day. The techs were very helpful and professional while installing. All in all we are very satisfied!

Person that came and did installation was professional and knowledgeable about the product, the sales representative did answer every question we had about the services and plans available and worked with us to accommodate and affordable plans, total the whole experience of getting the service from Vivint was easy and the most surprising thing was the installation was half an hour later on same day after agreeing on signing with them.

Kayden, our salesman, and Tyler, our installer, both did an amazing job with our Vivint system. The technology is unlike any other alarm system, truly ahead of its time. We are thoroughly enjoying the system, which has brought us great peace of mind. It's a fantastic product, and we highly recommend it to all our family and friends.
